Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey, it's Ashley Spidel. I know I hated Why did
I say hey? Like that? I hated you said your name? Anyways,
we are I Heard Radio's newest podcast. Oh now I
don't like that you just said how I said my name? Anyways,
we are I Heart Radio's newest podcast. Are you with Me?

(00:23):
Tim and I basically had a podcast before podcasting was
a thing. We've been around the block of it here.
It's true. I interned for Ryan Seacrest in college and
fell in love with radio. Ashley and I then did
a syndicated daily show for about four years and joined
our Heart Media to do over two hundred episodes of
a show called The Melting Pot. Also, Tim and I

(00:43):
are engaged and I have been together for like ever,
like fifteen years forever. And I love everything about Tim
and our relationship. No, but I do. I do. I
love it because it's nontraditional and it works in the
best way for us. Well, actually, since you love everything

(01:05):
about me, describe me in three words? Oh boy, Okay,
I swear it's not difficult to think of sweet things
about you. I swear. No. You are compassionate, and you
are driven, and you are trainable. Okay, now you do me,

(01:25):
You do me? Okay, you are loyal, genuine and a
grudge holder. I am a grudge holder. But that's so
annoying that you just said that. Now I'm like, gonna,
that's so annoying. But like, I'm a virgo, so I'm sorry.
You knew what you were getting into. It comes with
the territory. Yeah, that's a conversation for a whole other episode.

(01:45):
That's very true. Every week, starting Tuesday, October, actually and
I will be sitting down with friends taking a deep
dive into relationships, life and the power of human connection.
If there's one thing I think that it has made
us stronger to survive the ups and down ounds of
life is the power of being able to look at
each other and know what the other person is thinking
without needing them to do so. Hence, are you with me?

(02:10):
Not only have I trained him to not talk to
me first thing in the morning until I've had my
first SIPs of espresso, but I've also trained him to
connect with me in a crowded room and to catch
my vibe or to know who and what I'm thinking
by just one look, as he has done the same
with me and We are going to ignite the spark

(02:31):
in connection on our show every week, and we cannot
wait to bring you along for the ride.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
