Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hey, everyone, welcome back to Happy Hour.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
I'm Joe and I'm Sara.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
And this is part two with Gary and Teresa and
Teresa's daughters on the line.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
They're figuring out some wedding details.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
And we're finding out Gary has a shellfish allergy.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
We have to make some decisions. Oh my goodness, I
know it's she's here.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Literally in five minutes, we with her help, we wind
out the entire menu.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
I know she's really killing it on the wedding planning front.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Yeah, it's really good. That's so great. Like I just
said to her, we got five minutes. I said yes
to this, Yes to this?

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Yes, what are the specialty cocktail name options? Again?

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Yes? So we've got turned.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
Her into missus one headlight.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
One headlight? Is that a reference back to your first date?

Speaker 4 (00:54):
Yes, to the cordett, and we've got the final rose.
Love it, and then the birthday.

Speaker 5 (00:59):
Suit, which is a reference back to your entrance out
of the limo.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
I love that. Are you gonna have four cocktails or
those the four options?

Speaker 3 (01:07):
So we get to have four? I was just asking
for four. I don't know. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Can I ask Jenna question?

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Yes? Okay, ask you?

Speaker 1 (01:19):
She said, Hi, John, Hi, Hi, Jen, quick question for you,
what are you most excited about for this wedding?

Speaker 3 (01:27):
I mean the wedding. She's just like, I'm real. We
just keep saying you can't even remember or find an
what's happening? Like, I'm so yeah, incredible.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
It really is incredible because it's just something that I'm
assuming none of you would have ever expected this a
few years ago.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah, listen to a year ago that this is what
we'd be worth.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
Like doing right now, we feel the same way, Jo, So.

Speaker 5 (01:55):
You know, well give it a few weeks Jen, and
your answer that question is going to be I'm excited
to not be planning a wedding anymore.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
So fast, Yeah, I get yeah, it's going to be
like a whirlwind plan here.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
That's so true.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
I'm really blessed to have an incredible daughter, just like
Gary's blessed with his two incredible daughters. Like we have
a really good support system, right, really amazing. So Jen's
picked down every dress for me. I have a million dresses,
come to the house and then try it on. Yes, no, no,
it's gone back, it's gone. Yeah, it's been amazing, so.

Speaker 5 (02:32):
Fun on I don't want to say, you know you guys,
have a good rest of your chat.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Thank you, very nice meeting.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
Great meeting you, good luck with wedding planning, and congrats
on everything.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Okay, great, thank you, I love you. J bye.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Actually I have I want to bring up a point
now that we're talking about family members. We're going to
get back into the beginning of the season and how
it all began for you Teresa, and how everything started.
But I do want to bring up Gary, your family
was actually at the engagement and that was the first
time in Bachelor history I think that that's ever happened.
How special of a moment was that for you? Having

(03:09):
them there?

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Oh, it's incredible. I remember specifically when I was talking
to Teresa, I'm giving the will you marry me? Speech,
and then I see my daughters and my granddaughters running
across the grassy area, and you could look on their face.

(03:30):
You could see the excitement and the joy they had,
and I know in talking to them since that day,
of their feelings about what was going on, it was.
I mean, there's no replacing the joy you have with
family when you get a little bit older, and we
both kind of enjoy that same thing with our families.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Did you not know that they were going to be there?
Was that a surprise?

Speaker 4 (03:56):
I did not know. I knew that they had been there,
you know, the days before interviewing women, and I kind
of I kind of hoped that maybe they'd stayed over,
but I had no indication that they were there. So yes,
I was completely surprised and thrilled.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Oh that's so nice, it's so fun. Well should we
run it? Should we run a back joke all the
way to all the way from night one?

Speaker 5 (04:22):
We love to just go through the season with you
guys now and talk about all the amazing moments that
we saw between the two of you. If that's all right, sure, yeah,
all right, Well I think we should start with night one.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yeah, night one. So Teresa, you step out of that
limo and you see Gary. What are you feeling? Is
I love at first sight? Like what's going on here?

Speaker 3 (04:44):
I really went and I stepped out of that limo
and I was just thinking, Okay, don't let me fall,
don't let me trip. And as soon as I got
up next to Gary, go, oh my god, I'm really
attracted to him. I am so attracted to him. I said,
what the heck? Like, what are the two answers. I
didn't think that was going to happen. I really I
didn't expect it. So you see, at the end of it,

(05:05):
I actually voluntarily kiss him on the lips, and it
was just like a peck you would give to your
husband twenty years Like I want, I said, because I
remembered it back as you kiss me. And then I go, oh, no,
really I did it.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Wow, I do remember that. I remember that.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
I was like, whoa, Teresa came out kind of naked
and just went it for a kiss.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
This is a wild entrance. I love it.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
And I tell you about the entrance was. It was
when I was interviewing with the producers and so I said,
you know, we were going to start filing me on
August thirty. He said, Oh, my birthday's August fourth. He goes, oh,
that's great. Maybe you can walk out with a birthday cake.
And then in my head, I'm going, or maybe I've
walked out my birthday suit. I said, do I really
say this? I said, well, maybe I can work walking

(05:48):
out on my birthday suit. He goes, that's it, you're hired,
but you're just kidding, and he goes and then they
stuck with it. I was so nervous and then you
could see this is smile plastered on my face and
I just couldn't to get to the end of that sentence,
like I can't do that. I've got I don't know
if anyone heard this. I couldn't do that. I got
six grandsons. I don't know if you even heard it.
And I said, oh, I did it. I got through it.

(06:09):
But yeah, I was immediately attractive.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Gary, would you say Teresa was a big standout for
you night one?

Speaker 4 (06:17):
She was one of several standouts. You know, I'm not
going to say I was singling someone out that quickly
because I was trying to stay so open minded. So yeah,
she was definitely one. And it was because of you know,
like after her exit from the limo and we did
the little cupcake thing and it was she just gives

(06:37):
me this look. I mean, it's like right now, and
it was there right from the beginning.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
And then Gary, going into night one and Teresa, you
can answer this as well, did you have any like
rules for yourself about how many women you were going
to kiss or if you wanted to kiss anyone? Teresa,
were you like, you know, I'm not going to kiss
him on the first night, or I definitely want to
kiss him. What was what was the attitude there?

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Yeah, so I clearly came into the first night with
an edict from my daughters and granddaughters, do not kiss
anyone on the first night. And if you count, I
failed four times. I'm perfectly fine with it.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Yeah. I came into it with open to the experience,
and I didn't expect to be kissing him that first night.
I didn't, you know, expect on the bench to do that.
And I said, you know what time is sleeping, like,
do it? Go for it? So, I mean, it's here,
he's asking me to do this. Why not? So yeah,
I wasn't expecting to do it, but went wholeheartedly into it.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Teresa, do you did you watch the show before coming
on it? Do you watch it?

Speaker 4 (07:49):
That's a good question.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
I used to watch with my husband from twenty twelve
to twenty fourteen. I took him kicking and screaming like
he didn't really want to watch it, but then he
was so interested in and had opinions about all the women,
and we really enjoyed it then. But after we passed away,
I started, you know, I kind of shied away from
things we did together because it was too sad. So
I hadn't watched it in a long long time, but

(08:11):
I did start watching it. This is really funny. Just
before I came on, I watched some seasons and there
was a season where this girl they were asking her, well,
how was the date? And she wouldn't tell them and
they thought she was still a bit. I said, well,
I don't want to be thought it as a bitch,
so I'm going to share kiss it down, Joy Gary.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
How comfortable would you be if you came home to
your home in South Carolina and Teresa had five or
six of the girls from your season over having drinks?
Are you? Are you fine with that?

Speaker 4 (08:52):
Oh? Are you kidding? I'd be elated that there's so
many of those women who are just big personalities that
you love to be around there entertaining. Yeah, I'd be
one hundred find if there was a dozen.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
Yeah, the more the merry are. This be amazing. And
I keep in touch with many of them by phone. Yeah,
we're talking a lot.

Speaker 5 (09:19):
Yeah, we had a few on the podcast recently and
they all they all mentioned your name, Teresa, about how
lovely you are. We we got to talk about dind
diner day.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
You read my mind.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
So first day of the season, Teresa goes to you,
were you expecting that or did that surprise you?

Speaker 3 (09:39):
I had no idea where I going like, I just said,
I didn't even know how to dress. So it's amazing
we were. We were wearing the same color, although he
wore blow a lot, but you know, I said, I
will I have this dress and how about this? And
I did and so Susan was so generous. Did my hair?
Had no idea I was getting into a car where
the one was going to be the yeah that's me,

(10:01):
or that we were going on a highlight, or that
we were going to be on the road for so long,
and just seeing him like so uncomfortable. The steering is
like so loose, the headlights are flashing on love, We've
got eighteen wheelers call and I said, I kept saying
I want to reach out and touch his shoulder. I
really want to reach out. And then finally I said, okay,
I'm doing it.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
And I went like that And what did that mean
to you? Gary?

Speaker 5 (10:23):
I know you talked about you know that calmness on
the show, but you know, Teresa was your first one
on one day. Ever, you know, it's your first time
on this show. She's there, You're kind of in a
stressful situation. What did that mean to you?

Speaker 4 (10:36):
Well, so it was really a physical reaction. It wasn't
as much emotional. I literally felt the stress and the
nervousness drain out of me and it's like just that
little touch on the shoulder. It's like, Hey, I'm your
partner here.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
I'm with you.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
You know you've got this. We're good, you know. I
As time went by in the throughout the other episode,
I tried to not think about that too much because
I didn't want to lock in on the very first person.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
That's okay, that's fine, Yeah, okay, your daughter, no.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
More wedding questions.

Speaker 4 (11:19):
Yeah, I just didn't want to lock in on the
very first person at risk of missing something with all
of the other women.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
Involved, would you say, out of everything on that first
date between the two of you, that shoulder touch was
the thing that stood out the most or stuck with
you the most.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
Yeah, that and one other thing. When we were sharing
the milkshake, and I looked back on this more than
in the moment realizing it, we both talked NonStop like
a couple of giggly high school kids. But the interesting
thing was we were still hearing each other. She was
talking about Billy and I was talking about Tony. We

(11:57):
were talking about past experiences, and we were talking about
future hopes and dreams, and we still heard everything. The
other person said it was really awesome.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
Yeah, and he knew that the song was coming on,
but I knew nothing. So like in the show, it goes,
what's this? And then they were dancing, and I did say, well,
let's get up and dance like this is And I
thought we were just going to dance in the diner.
But wait, I have to tell you this though. When
you finally get to the diner. In my head, I'm

(12:26):
going a diner, like we have a thousand diners day.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
That's an.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
You're take me anywhere. You're taking me to a diner.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
And then I see a jukebox and we weren't able to,
you know, listen to music. I go, I said to him, oh, jukebox,
can we play music? And he just completely ignores me.
And then and then the song comes on and I
go and he keeps telling me. The name of the
song is said, you know the name of the song,
like and then we're dancing and then all of a
sudden they're taking us out. In my mind, I'm saying,

(12:58):
oh my god, this is the coolest thing ever. I
cannot wait to show my daughter. I can't wait to
show it my entire family, Like, wow, we're in the
middle of the flash, mom. How incredible was it was?

Speaker 2 (13:08):
It was amazing, it was adorable.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
It was like a movie moment. Truly, it felt like
I was watching a rob cop.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Yeah, okay, did you see the funny things about me?
Like rowing the car and Gary? I loved all the
funny things that people did because it was a lot
of love to make fun of. You like to be
funny about it?

Speaker 5 (13:27):
Yeah, how dare they not tell you to put your
hair in a ponytail before you got in that car.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
The funny thing is he gave me a scarf as
a gift, and he was on the floor and I
kept going, it's great for it, and I'm going, this
thing's gonna wick right out the window if I picked
this up at the back. So I didn't. I never
put it on my heads car.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
When you guys both look back at your season, what
moment together stands out the most for you, Gary, you
go first.

Speaker 4 (13:59):
The moment that most stands out for me is the
dinner before the Fantasy Suite. I actually watched that episode
by myself, and I remember calling Teresa and saying, Teresa,
I just watched the episode and watched the moment that
I fell in love with you, because in that moment,

(14:22):
we started talking about more meaningful things, and I watched
my body language go forward, and I watched the cadence
of my conversation quick and there was more and more excitement,
and then that just quickly led into the conversations that
we had in the Fantasy Suite. So it was right
then that I go, yep, this is my girl, this
is the one.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Yeah. For me, it was two moments. It was the
car ride to the dinner, and it was in that
dinner and in the Fantasy Suite, in which you didn't
say so, they were the biggest moments. And I think
that on the dinner, FUND said Teresa, just be yourself, like,
just be yourself. What are you doing Like you're holding back,

(15:05):
You're you're pretty much surface level here and just and
when he said I want to ask you more about
your career, I said, yeah, asked me about my career.
You should have asked me about my career. Yes, ask
me and so yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
No, that was a great conversation.

Speaker 5 (15:18):
And I think what you both just described we saw
it when we were watching, Like Gary, I think we
saw you. You know, you leaned in, your eyes, were
like really engaged in what she was saying, and you know,
your enthusiasm with your questions just started flowing and you
really locked in on her. And Teresa, I feel like
Joe and I both said you seemed the most relaxed

(15:39):
and just confident in yourself in that conversation, just very
self assured. It was definitely a standout for me having
watched your relationship of just like wow, these two are
really connecting in this moment.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Thank you. I have to say this, we both weren't
happy with the course back writing because as soon as
as soon as I saw it, I said, oh, we're
not gonna be able to talk or be near each
other or interact, and yeah, it was it was difficult
to have a moment together and said, oh, you got
to be under a waterfall. That's what I wanted, like

(16:12):
riding I go waterfall. Let's just get right there, let's
let's get off the horses.

Speaker 5 (16:16):
And Joe and I's first date in Paradise was a
what was it a wrestling dating?

Speaker 6 (16:24):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (16:24):
Yeah, we had went on like Nacho Lebrey costumes and
run around this ring and I had been I'd been
throwing up.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
I'd been so sick that day.

Speaker 5 (16:35):
So, you know what, the date activity doesn't always dictate
the romance and the relationship.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
My god, that's amazing. I have to go see that.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Yeah. We have never watched it again.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
I will never watch it again.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
Made some very funny photos.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
What what type of day are you? Still a day trader?

Speaker 3 (16:57):
No, I'm not a day trader anymore because I work
in compliance, but I still love stocks so much.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
Joe was Joe worked out?

Speaker 1 (17:06):
I was, Yeah, I was a day trader at the
Chicago Mercantile Exchange. I did open I'll cry yeah for wow,
for wow almost almost five years. Yeah, when I was.
I got my badge when I was nineteen years old.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
So wow, that's impress I mean, it just excites me
so much. The stuff market, like, you know, just just
trying to figure everything out and get all the puzzle
pieces together and figure out what the answer is.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
But I said, am I going to look at Gary's portfolio. Yet,
what are you going to do now?

Speaker 3 (17:40):
I suggistic whatever it is fine, j trading is not
for the thing.

Speaker 5 (17:48):
Target, No, I'm I go nowhere near it. I let
someone else do it for me.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
Okay, So now that we're we're stepping into the real world,
what is an ideal? Like, where do you guys plan
on first day? Where are you going?

Speaker 4 (18:04):
Food shopping, food chopping?

Speaker 6 (18:07):
It's just a nice dinner, Oh yeah, where you know
we've held each other as a secret for weeks and
weeks now just to go out to dinner, sit down,
have like what every.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
Other couple in America has, and and just enjoy each
other's company and just casual conversation and a glass of wine.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
And good food and take a look a like to
go outside and take a walk.

Speaker 5 (18:34):
No, it's a great day, Like I really remember our
enjoy Yeah. Like we we watched our finale and then
we had to do like interviews the next day, so
we didn't really get out until like three pm the
day after the finale, and we did exactly that. We
went for a walk, We sat on a patio, we
had a beer, We went and met up with a
friend of mine. We went for dinner and just kind

(18:55):
of walked around the city and it's so exciting. So yeah,
really take that in because it's an awesome moment.

Speaker 4 (19:03):
Yeah, thank you for that.

Speaker 5 (19:04):
Of course, having been through it, I get so excited
for the couples at the end when they're about to
have it all be over, because I know how good
of a feeling it's gonna be.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
Yeah, we can't wait.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Any women from your season, will they be invited? What
women will be invited to the wedding?

Speaker 3 (19:28):
I would every single one of them.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
If you were to name a few names, maybe a
few names that you would you would love to be there.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
Faith, Faith, I would invite Leslie. I don't know if
she would come, Edith, Ellen, Sandra, Anna, Yes, I don't
Anna all the time.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
We just interviewed Anna.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
Peggy, Pamela, Renee, Sylvia.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
Did you ever try eat a squacamole? Teresa?

Speaker 4 (19:58):
No?

Speaker 3 (19:59):
I didn't. You didn't. I didn't. You know I should
have because.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
Did you try Susan's meatballs?

Speaker 3 (20:05):
And I but they look so good and they smell
so good, and everybody and house is so grateful for them.
So I don't think I don't think that was an issue.
I don't know, I don't know if you heard me,
but I said Marina as well.

Speaker 5 (20:16):
Yes, yes, Maria, so every everyone like I love everyone, Yes.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
Every single every single one of them. They're all really wonderful,
wonderful women.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
Yeah, Gary, would you this is a little tougher of
a question, but would you feel comfortable with Leslie at
your wedding?

Speaker 4 (20:37):
I think that would be more up to Leslie. I
would be comfortable because I had such deep feelings for
her and a lot of respect, and if she were
comfortable being there, I certainly would be comfortable having her there.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (20:55):
Well, I feel like, you know, we've got the finale
that's has happened, We've got the wedding, But there's a
lot of time in between your proposal to now that's
been going on and it has been filmed, and you've
been hiding, so it might seem like, you know, there's
not a lot to talk about there.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
But I really want to know what have you guys
been doing.

Speaker 5 (21:15):
To keep that spark alive, to keep growing and furthering
your relationship between the proposal and where we are today.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
Great question. We talk every single night for hours. I
usually you know, I usually lie down on the moor
and just really concentrate on him and just talking. We've yeah,
we've laughed so much. We've had such a great time.
So it's been, you know, getting to know each other
more and more and more every single night on the phone.
We only got to see each other one person one weekend.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
That was it.

Speaker 3 (21:46):
So it's been really hard. And he said, oh god,
damn it, this is too long. And I said, come on,
it's going to get here before you know it. It
will be here. See it's here. Yeah, So it's.

Speaker 4 (21:58):
So so No, it's almost the opposite. We have so
much on our plate, you know, wedding planning, getting families
together for holiday meals and getting them together for other
activities and so forth, that there's just so much going
on now that we're immersed in each other's interests and
families and stuff. So it's pain off.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
But thankfully we have family tell us so that you
can see that.

Speaker 5 (22:23):
Is there anything that you guys learned about each other
that surprised you? I know, Traesa, you just learned Gary's
allergic to show, So there's that, But anything in addition.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
H anything about you like Showteresa?

Speaker 2 (22:36):
Is there?

Speaker 1 (22:37):
Is there anything that you know about Gary that you
wish the audience knew that maybe didn't come across on
the show.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
Yeah, that he's well, I don't know if it came
across from the show, but that he's just such a
strong person and really stands up for what he leaves in,
and that he's Yeah, he's very not not only just
good hearted and mind and sensitive, it's more him being
this strong leader of a man. Yeah. Yeah, Really, what

(23:08):
about you, Gary?

Speaker 5 (23:09):
Is there anything about Teresa that you want the world
to know that maybe they didn't get to learn from
watching her on the show.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
I think that people didn't see the level of unselfishness
and her ability to not be jealous in situations that
I think the vast majority of women would have been
jealous in. Those are qualities that are easily recognized when
you see them one on one, but maybe through the

(23:37):
show they weren't recognized as much.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
Gary, If you could give advice to the next Golden Lead,
whether that be a woman or a man, what advice
would you give?

Speaker 4 (23:53):
Be open minded, don't lock in on one person, don't
set your heart in one in place, because you may
miss something that's critically important with one of the other
people it's there. So I tried to, you know, compartmentalize
as much as I possibly could, and I think that

(24:15):
helped me so much. And learning about everyone.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Yeah, and then Teresa, how about you for someone else
going on, Yeah, contestants that you know, the next batch
of of women vuying for the Golden Bachelor or vice versa,
what would be your advice to them?

Speaker 3 (24:34):
I would say, really try to be yourself as much
as possible, something I wasn't able to do fully the
entire time. But to be yourself, to be open to
the process, and to really say how you feel, like,
don't hold back. This is this is a process where
it's it's not dragged out in a normal time frame.

(24:57):
So you can't let opportunities pass you by. So if
you feel something, to say something, because you never know
when's the last opportunity you're going to get to say that,
And so to be vulnerable and to be open. Yeah,
just don't don't hold back, yes if you because otherwise, yes,
you might might miss it. You may miss Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
Yeah, I think that to me, I've always said that's
like one of the most important things about this show
is realizing it's not a normal timeline, like if you
want this to work, you're gonna have to speed.

Speaker 5 (25:32):
It up, put it all out there all times. We
said that about you too, Teresa. About halfway through the season.
I think we were like, Teresa is moving at the
pace she's got to move. It's great, Like she's feeling
things fast and she's opening up about it, and even in.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
The part one episode of Happy Hour said she has
the correct mindset for the show, like you you do
need that?

Speaker 3 (25:57):
Yeah, thank you, No, of course.

Speaker 5 (26:00):
And I think it's great that you did, because I
think it allowed you to to really connect and find
each other.

Speaker 3 (26:06):
It was just an incredible experience, you know, like what
it's an experience that's so different from anything that's ever
happened in your life. And so I was so excited
about the process and so well incredibly glad that I
did it, Like, like, who would have thought this? You
wouldn't think this, that this is going to happen, that this,

(26:27):
How does it happen?

Speaker 4 (26:28):
It really did?

Speaker 3 (26:28):
It actually happened, So you don't think I don't know,
it happened for you guys.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
So it's crazy. We still can't believe it either, Right.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
That's wonderful all right, we're going to play a little
game with you guys.

Speaker 5 (26:43):
No, it's fun, It's like, yeah, it's like the newlyweds game,
but we're going to do the newly engaged game.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
We're going to.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
You want to do it?

Speaker 2 (26:55):
Sure? Okay.

Speaker 5 (26:56):
So we're gonna throw a question at you and you
both have to answer are at the same time, and
you'll say either Gary or you'll say Teresa, depending on
who fits the question.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
Does that make sense?

Speaker 1 (27:10):
Okay, but make sure you say it and don't point
because it's a podcast.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
Okay, ready, So who is more romantic?

Speaker 3 (27:18):
Gary? I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
Gary, Gary? Okay? Who is more organized? Who is more stubborn?

Speaker 3 (27:30):
Teresa? Were both stubborn?

Speaker 4 (27:34):
More stubborn?

Speaker 2 (27:36):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (27:37):
Who spends more time on social media? I was gonna say,
must be Teresa. She's responding to everyone's messages. Who is
the pick your eater? Who is the better driver?

Speaker 3 (27:56):
Gary? Only? But I am?

Speaker 2 (28:01):
Who is better in pickleball?

Speaker 3 (28:04):
Yary?

Speaker 2 (28:05):
Have you guys been playing.

Speaker 4 (28:08):
Not together?

Speaker 5 (28:10):
That'll have to be on the to do list once
you're in public. Who is funnier?

Speaker 3 (28:18):
Oh? God, I think Gary?

Speaker 4 (28:25):
Yeah, I gotta say that that.

Speaker 2 (28:27):
Could be Okay, you're both funny.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
This isn't part of the game, but what an all
time favorite movie? Tesa, what's your favorite movie?

Speaker 5 (28:39):
You're hijacking the game to ask a random question that you.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
Want to know.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
That's how I get to know. Somebody sets the humor
chill interesting Gary, how about you Titanic? I don't. I
don't find either of those to be comedy true romantic.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Though true romantic.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
It would have been winning.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
Crash that's the great one.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
That's a good one for you.

Speaker 2 (29:04):
Airplane Airplane, that's a goe too.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
We just watched planes, trains, and automobiles.

Speaker 5 (29:12):
I was so frustrated the whole movie. I was like, relax,
who is the better cook?

Speaker 3 (29:20):
Theresa probably although he cooks Yeah, I mean that's TBD. Yeah,
that's right.

Speaker 5 (29:27):
You know, Gary's get it ordering at a restaurant, and
Gary doesn't go to many restaurants, and that's what's going
to change.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
I cooked, but I cooked more efficiency rather than elegance.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
That's fair, honestly.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
I said, so, do you want an omelet? And he
said no, he just had a hard boiled egg. And
then I had the omelet with spinach intead of cheese
in and He's going on, could you make me that
same one because that was good.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
Well, there you go.

Speaker 5 (29:56):
Maybe things are going to change with your time in
the kitchen. Teresa, do you mind me asking you? So
you don't eat sugar, you don't eat meat?

Speaker 2 (30:05):
Are you? Are you on like a paleo diet? Like
are you just kind of.

Speaker 3 (30:10):
Like I would say that anything if you had to
have a light one. And it's Mediterranean?

Speaker 5 (30:14):
Okay, So you like like vegetables, fish, big, I eat
an enormous salad every day with grilled I do eat
grilled chicken, fish, I eat turkey, I eat a lot
of salmon.

Speaker 3 (30:26):
Yeah, So it's it's, you know, trying to say with sugar,
I'm not a complete saint. So I do eat dark chocolate.
And while that says my snack, and I'm going to
try to get him to think that.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
Instead of a donut.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
