I think it's really hot here and I know Kathy
is here in my home and it is the best
day ever. There's no humidity, and this girl's cold cold.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
It's seventy five degrees here. I came from. I came
from over one hundred degrees and now it's seventy five outside,
dry as toast. I'm cold. Susan has the air conditioning
set down to like Antarctica and hair. It's really enridiculous cold.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Sus here ninety, come on, how are you doing? And see?
Thank you so much for being here.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
I'm happy to be here.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
So let's catch up, babe.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
What's going on besides you being at my home? Well?
Speaker 4 (01:41):
I just got to Susan's last night. It's a quick
two and a half hour drive. It's beautiful here, but
as Kathy said, she's freezing. I was a little cold,
so I put on my jacket.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
But Ian and Susan is sweating. But that's just a detail.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
I hope they're going to find out more about me
this weekend, and so I'm sure you'll all be hearing
about that next week when you do another podcast. Because
they everything's nothing's off limits.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Let me ask you something as we review Jones, gentleman,
was there anybody that stuck.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
Out to you?
Speaker 4 (02:17):
Well? Several?
Speaker 3 (02:18):
Oh, well, here we go.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Several and do you want to know the names?
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Sure? Wait, here's the problem. Wait, here's the problem for
all three of us. Okay, we don't know if if
Joan chose anyone, we don't know, if she's with someone,
we don't know. We just know she can only choose one.
What if we all picked the one that she chose,
we're screwed. We pursued, We'll have to go with number two.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
Then sorry, yes, you know what.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
I'm the first guy that's stuck out in your head
like boom as soon as I asked the question.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Jonathan Okay, okay, he's a.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
Little younger than me. He's from IOI wow, Jonathan, Greg
I think from Longboat Key and Jordan, those were the
three who stuck out. But honestly, I do think until
you meet someone you don't really know, and we all
(03:16):
know we've met people and dated people, do mean to
hold those thank you that you know, maybe they aren't
exactly what you thought you were looking for, and then
you meet them and you're like, oh my gosh, and
then all of a sudden, of course they become more
handsome and more or less.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
You've got or less.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
But you've got to wait and meet people.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
All right, Nancy, we want you to join us. Okay,
we're going to get your opinion. We have questions coming
in that we're all going to answer and to the
best of whatever you feel. The way they ask that question,
what comes to mind is what you're going to share?
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Okay, cool, sounds good?
Speaker 1 (03:57):
Okay. Ready. Money is a hot topic when it comes
to relationships. Financial problems contribute to twenty to forty percent
of all divorces. So when do you think it's the
right time to talk about money, debt, spending, habits, savings,
et cetera in a new relationship? Is this a first
(04:17):
date topic? Three dates in, a year in and how
do you know?
Speaker 4 (04:22):
I would say, three dates in and how do you
know you have? I mean, you have to know, you
have to bring it up, and you have to sort
of plant a seed. I don't think you have the
entire talk talk, but I think you plant the seed
and then you can sort of it evolves.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
I feel like I want to make sure that I'm
in like with this person and I want to invest
some time in them before I make it.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Yeah, but conversation, here's the difference. At our age, we
already have our savings, our investments are not And to
combine do we even combine? That's really where I'm after.
Do you combine resources?
Speaker 2 (05:01):
Are half of them signed prenups. I mean, what's yours
is yours?
Speaker 3 (05:05):
What his should be yours too?
Speaker 1 (05:07):
Yeah, would you sign a prenup? Absolutely? Absolutely? Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
I don't think there's anything I would sign on.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
You know, there was a time when I was much
younger that I was appalled by the sound of a prenup,
But now I totally get it.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Yeah, but don't you think Yeah, don't you think though
that it's if you are young and you both are
starting out and you're amassing your wealth, you're putting your
money in you know, you're five dollars a week out
of your paycheck into the same account. But when you
get to be our age, then you Yeah, I think
it's it's totally But would I bring it up. Absolutely?
Speaker 2 (05:42):
So the question we want to know is it the
first date? Absolutely not correct?
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Absolutely not three dates and probably not a year.
Speaker 4 (05:52):
I said three because what if what if somebody says, well,
you know, I.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
Really like, what if there's a red flag dropped?
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Good to know? Three date? True?
Speaker 3 (06:04):
True?
Speaker 2 (06:05):
So third date we might not even kiss yet.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
I mean a year in talk about money, Yeah, but
wait a year in a year.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
In like she said, like I said, you have to
see what you want to invest. If you're feeling something
and you know he's feeling you know what.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
You know what I'm looking for. Here's my sex, I
mean what, it's always on her mind, you know what
I'm thinking. What I'm the way you find out about finances.
You don't even have to bring that up. If the
guy invites you out and he takes you a happy
hour and says, can we split a drink and an appetizer?
You probably are going to have serious financial problem or.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
Sorry, Or the bill comes and he sits there and
he doesn't offer to pay, another red flag.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Wait, I got to I got a winner.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
I was on the date. Wait, and it was a
happy hour date? You chad?
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Last one? He had a second and I went to
order a second. He goes, no, no, no, happy hours over.
I thought, yeah, you're over too, Okay, no no, no, no,
no problem.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
I got it. I'll buy my own da Did you
hear Nancy? How sad? Is that really?
Speaker 2 (07:16):
Very?
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Here's the thing. If a guy says to me on
a first date, a second date, or a third date,
it's happy hours, so why don't we split an appetizer?
I'm going to say, you know what, I have a
bus to catch and it's leaving in five minutes, so
I'm out of here. And now with that being said,
let's get on weed some great So, Nancy, the way
(07:37):
we do this you were done with, we are done,
and we're done with guys. We're done with guys who
don't want to who don't want to pay. There you go. Okay,
So we do some fan questions and we're going to
read them and we're going to ask all this, discuss,
(08:00):
sit and give our advice. Are you in you ready? Nancy?
Speaker 3 (08:03):
All right?
Speaker 2 (08:04):
This one's from Casey, thirty two years old from Los Angeles. Hi,
Kathy and Susan. I'm struggling a bit right now and
thought I turned to my internet moms for advice. Oh okay,
we're internet moms.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
We love you, Casey.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
All of my friends are in serious relationships and are
moving on to new chapters of life. I've never had
a serious partner, despite putting myself out there in groups,
going on dates, etc. See, I know, it just hasn't
happened for me yet. I am trying not to lose hope,
(08:43):
but it gets harder every day to watch everyone else
move on and feel like I'm falling behind none of
my friends really want to go out with me anymore
because they are all wifed up, which makes it harder
for me to meet new people and go ahead, harder
for me to meet new people going places alone.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
This experience is making me.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Look back at my life choices, thinking about where I
maybe went wrong and why I maybe haven't met my
person yet. Do you have any words of wisdom or
advice for me? I'm feeling pretty lost and don't want
to lose hope that I'll have my life partner family someday.
(09:31):
Love you both so much, Thank you for all the
joy you bring. Oh Casey, You're never thirty two thirty,
don't you right?
Speaker 1 (09:42):
You know what I look at it.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
She's only thirty two. I know, I'm sure she would
want to find her person earlier, but I also think
she's living more life and she might be it. I
think it works out.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
She probably will.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
Be more ready when she does meet the right person.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
I think Casey might be a guy, be alright, he
or she? But I think it might be a guy
because he's saying his friends are all wifed up.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
Well, that could be, but you know what.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
I mean, I feel like.
Speaker 4 (10:15):
I feel like thirty two isn't so old to not
have a significant relationship.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
I don't know, you know why we can say that
because where we've lived and we're older. If you are
thirty two and you've never had a serious relationship and
you haven't, all your friends are married and quote unquote
wifed up, casey, I hear you. It's got to be
really tough. And my advice to you would be, shake
(10:42):
up what you're doing, because you know, if you keep
doing what you've been doing, you're gonna keep getting what
you've been getting. So, you know, try something new. Try
a new activity that's a group activity, you know, pick
up a sport. I mean we always say the same thing,
but like pickleball is a big thing. Go take a
course a lesson in pickleball, right, Do something new or challenge.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
The sorry golf meetups have you heard about those where
people play golf? You know, you don't have to be
a professional, but you get out and play.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
I think from our generation, thirty two was old not
to have a relationship, But today the kids are doing
They're don't even leaving home yet at thirty two when
you think about it, so I'm not too We're gone.
A lot of your friends are saying or wifed up,
or they're married, or they're in a relationship. So change
(11:33):
up like you girls just said, but change up the
friendships too. Go out with some new.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
People, people through people.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
And I think you're right.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
One of the main things that I didn't listen to
when I was given advice when I was searching for
somebody is stop looking so hard forget about it. Be
in love with you and then young.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Or whoever case you are. You're you're young you, but
he or she is also at an age where they
want to have a family.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
I still want I still want somebody in my life.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
So we get it. We want to address Casey as
you say, I'm going to give you some words of wisdom.
You didn't go wrong. You say you want to know
maybe where you went wrong and why you haven't met
your person yet. You didn't go wrong. You've been living
your life, you have your friends. It may not be
the experiences and the life you want right now, but
(12:30):
you learn something from every experience you have. You didn't
go wrong, Casey, when you just need to give it
more time, you know.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
And try not to focus on finding that person. Let
that it will always be in your mind. But just
go about life and enjoy what you're.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
Doing and it'll have all right. The other thing I
want to say is Casey, if you are a guy,
Nancy has a gorgeous daughter that you might want to
meet you.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
And if you are a girl, I have a very
handsome Nicholas and I.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
Have two cats. If I'll help you in any way.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
But thank you so much for writing it, and we
love being your mom's.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
You could call us person. We hope you find your person,
and really good luck and thank you for listening to
our podcast. We love that, okay. Our next question is
from Dorothy. She's fifty nine from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Cool Love the Beach. Hello girls, I love, love, love
(13:27):
your podcast. I love that she had three loves in there.
It's so fun to listen to ladies around my age. Gab.
I don't know if any other podcasts like you'res so
yay yay will yay with you. I have a question
for you too about my future son in law. My
daughter and are soon to be husband are getting married
this fall. As we get excited for the big day,
(13:49):
my daughter told me he had a request for me
on the wedding day that I find a bit odd.
He asked that I cover the tattoos on my arms
with makeup for the wedding, as my dress is or
it's sleeved. The wedding isn't in a church or anything.
He said he would just prefer for the photos if
no one had visible tattoos. My daughter said she doesn't care,
(14:10):
but just wanted to relay his wishes. My tattoos are
a part of me and have been for decades. I'm
a cool mom. Lol, Yes you are. I have some
flowers on my arm, hearts for each of my kids,
and a fish to honor my dad. I feel a
bit offended that he would want me to cover these
up and feel like it's an off putting start to
(14:30):
our mother in law son in law relationship. What would
you do in this situation? Do I cover them up
because it's their wedding and it's not about me? Or
do I leave them because they are a part of
who I am and he doesn't care to control how
my body looks. So curious for your thoughts. Thank you
both and love you to pieces.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Who wants to go first?
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Dorothy?
Speaker 4 (14:52):
Something comes to mind to me could you meet in
the middle. I know tattoos, I know you could put
body makeup on, but maybe instead of body makeup, could
you wear like a shear, something shear with sleeves so
they wouldn't be as obvious and kind of down so
they're downplayed a little bit. But then that shows that
(15:14):
you tried. You know that you're going to try to
be understated about it and not just not do what
he asks. I mean, I know that this is a
tough one, but I think showing that you've made an
effort and showing that you understand how he feels and
you want to obviously start on a good foot for
(15:35):
the rest of their lives. I think I would compromise.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
About me personally. You're not going to like this start
things viewpoints, but I want to start that new relationship
your new son in law. A cover up the tattoo
for a minute. It's not going to kill anybody. He
doesn't like them, he doesn't want his photographs to have them.
You are who you are, and you're proud, and you
(16:01):
should be. I'm sure you love and there's a reason
behind every single piece of ink that's on your arm,
and I respect that, but I just don't want you
to start off on a bad foot with your son
in law.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
And it is so, believe it or not, I think
we are going to have three different viewpoints here. I'm
sort of actually between the two of you. I think
that she's Dorothy, You're absolutely right. It is a part
of who you are, and that's like, that's like Susan
is asking you to dye your hair or something to
(16:35):
change who you are, and I don't like that. I
personally don't like that. I think what I would do,
Dorothy is asked to meet with your son in law
and explain what the tattoos mean to you, because they
obviously are sentimental and they are a part of you.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Wait, Kathy, do you think that would change his mind?
Speaker 1 (16:54):
Well, that's where I was going. Okay, it may or
may not change his mind, but I would explain it
to him and say this is a part of me.
I would ask him why he wants me to cover up,
and then I would see if there's a compromise. I'm
not sure I would cover up it. I'm not sure
I would. I might wear something sheer for some of
(17:17):
the pictures for him, but I really do think that's
tantamount to saying, you know, dye your hair. Uh, you know,
like die your hair, that's changing who you are. You don't.
He has tattoos, and that's what I'm saying. And he
doesn't want to see them. Well, you know I don't
want to see.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Yes, it's for the picture, just for the pictures. But no,
if you're going to if you're going to cover them up,
they're covered for the way.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
That's right. If they're covered up, they're covered up. So
I get it, it is their day. But I think,
as Susan, I always say the big C word communication.
I would talk to him.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
First, or cover them up for the pictures and I
go wash your arms really and show them for the reception.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
Of that's crazy. Either she honors his wishes or she
does it. You don't think she could talk to him
and say that's making a big thing.
Speaker 4 (18:04):
Which I also bet that he may already know what
they mean.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
He's just not Dorothy. It's a tough one, you know.
Good luck. I mean, I have the best son in
law in the world, and I truly hope that you
and you're soon to be son in law develop a
great relationship. And it's not worth burning it over this,
but exactly, Dorothy, I get it.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
I don't like that he even said that either, But
trying to make nice, just to keep peace, that's what
we do. That's what parents do. How many times have
you bait your tongue over something?
Speaker 1 (18:39):
Only when I chewed a piece of food in the
wrong direction, Dorothy, I don't bite my tongue. Good luck, Dorothy.
Send me a picture of what you wore.
Speaker 3 (18:47):
I got to know.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
Yeah, we want to know. Send us a picture. We
want to see it beautiful and we wish you all
the best.
Speaker 5 (18:54):
Alrighty oh goodness, I'm so excited about this because we
do not have to play moral Quandary.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
Hate that game we're playing at Nancy. Oh, I'm glad.
Speaker 4 (19:16):
It was a relief.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
It was h a relief. Yeah, y'all know I love
that game so much. Right, but you know what, for
those of you who love it like I do, it'll
be back next time. But whatever, I might be sick.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
I thought of another idea though, for us to try
out today.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
What do you think?
Speaker 3 (19:32):
Girls?
Speaker 2 (19:33):
I found a series of questions for besty check in,
and I thought it would be fun for all of
us to check in about our.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
Friendship Okay, I love that idea for sure. We we
with o each other. Okay. I feel like people focus
so much on romantic relationships, not not I of course,
and the health of those dynamics. But I we really
liked the idea of checking in about our friendship. Maybe
it can inspire others to do the same with their besties.
(20:07):
And I will say, people writing a lot, don't they, Susan,
about how much they love our friendship and when we
post things so you see we're all here together. There
was the best part. Will be filming all weekend.
Speaker 4 (20:20):
And I was thinking last night when we were sitting
outside that a year and a half ago we didn't
know each other, or a year ago we didn't know
each other, and it's crazy now we're all so close.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
It's as if we've known each other for fifty exactly.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
I mean, this is great. All right, Go ahead, Susan.
Where were we going here? Okay? Yep?
Speaker 2 (20:39):
So write down the questions and feel free to go
through them with your bff sometime. All right, here's the
first question.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
What was your first impression of me?
Speaker 2 (20:52):
And how did it change since we became besties?
Speaker 1 (20:56):
Oh? What do you say, Nancy?
Speaker 4 (20:58):
What was your first impression of No, it's of Susan,
of me.
Speaker 1 (21:03):
It's my question. Oh, it's world return around.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
It's not moral.
Speaker 4 (21:10):
I knew I liked you from the minute I saw you.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
You know why?
Speaker 4 (21:15):
You were approachable? You were approachable and you had a
big smile on your face, and I thought, I like that.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
I'm gonna cry.
Speaker 4 (21:23):
I know. No, I'm serious. You're approachable like not everybody was,
you know, immediately, and Susan was approachable.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
I can I interrupt for one minute the story of
my life why I didn't get a ton of dates
because men say I wasn't approachable.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
I would intimidate. I'm like, are you kidding me?
Speaker 2 (21:45):
I love you, all right, Kathy, your first impression of me?
Speaker 4 (21:49):
Don't just look at her eyes.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
I already know we've like bonded immediately. I literally there
was just something magnetic about your charismatic personality that just
drew me write in and it still does.
Speaker 5 (22:02):
I love these guys.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
Okay, all right, now I'm gonna ask one because it's
not you, Nancy, it's moral quandary for Susan. All right,
let me all right, what is what is something Nancy
and Susan that you love about our friendship and something
you think we could work on, Susan, there's nothing to
work on. Nancy.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
What do you think something you love about?
Speaker 4 (22:29):
I love that I know I could count on Kathy
for absolutely anything.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
And what about it?
Speaker 1 (22:38):
I thought this was about you. It's about her. I know.
You see what goes on here, it's we all got
to be in the limelight talking.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
That's that's my second part of that's what we work.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
Nancy.
Speaker 4 (22:52):
What does Nancy want is something?
Speaker 1 (22:55):
Anyway? No, but this is so fun in our video. Seriously,
people right in to both of us, not just to me.
Why don't you let Nancy speak? Let her talk? I try,
I can't keep up, so then I'm quiet. I'm just like, okay,
keep talking.
Speaker 2 (23:11):
Nance you're just telling people that she's not quiet, trusting.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Me all the time.
Speaker 4 (23:16):
So I did I answer the question?
Speaker 1 (23:18):
No, I didn't, And I love you. I love that
you said that you could count on me for anything.
Speaker 4 (23:23):
But if you were sick, if you had a problem.
Kathy's so smart also, and I know that if when
I was buying my daughter a car, I'm like, Kathy,
should I finance which? And she taught me all this
stuff anyway, She you can count on her, and I
believe you are one of the most loyal people I've
ever met. Now I'm going to talk, but we do
(23:47):
need to work on talking over each other.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
That's all of us.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
You asking me the question, why not?
Speaker 1 (23:54):
You're scared? She scared? This? All right? No, I want
to know what you love about our friendship?
Speaker 5 (24:02):
Love us, I really do. We are a threesome.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
We're dynamic. We love each other. No matter what faults
we have, we can get upset from each other.
Speaker 1 (24:15):
They have no faults.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
The point is this, even if we said something hurtful,
we forgive one another. We didn't mean to be hurtful.
That's a true friendship and what we could work on.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Yeah, zip it. Don't over talk or try to control this.
This interview is over. Yeah, moving right along.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
All right, I have a fun one you guys both
answer What is your favorite memory of us so far?
Go ahead?
Speaker 1 (24:51):
What comes first?
Speaker 2 (24:53):
The most favorite thing that we've done, you and me
or all of us.
Speaker 1 (24:59):
Or all of us? I'm asking that. Well, for you
and me, the most favorite thing you and I have
done was a podcast. Well, of course the podcast, but
walking the Red carpet that was un believed well that
was just and wait the other thing. The other one
is us doing Gary and Triesa's writing, you officiating it,
(25:21):
and me am seeing it with Charity and Jesse Palmers
life change.
Speaker 2 (25:28):
But what if I ask you a favorite memory of
the three of us, like, where would it have been?
Speaker 1 (25:33):
In the bed room at the mansion?
Speaker 4 (25:35):
I was going to say the same thing. We were.
There were seven of us to start, and then we
had four of us left. We all lined our twin
beds together and it was like summer camp. It's true,
and we laughed for three weeks.
Speaker 3 (25:53):
Don't you think that's where we found it?
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Absolutely doubt my favorite memory, even though I'm asking the question,
is the laughter like a two pack?
Speaker 4 (26:03):
People, You know, when you laughed.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
So hard you think you're getting the two pack in your.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
Belly, when we know you laughed so hard you pee.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
Saint Martin not anymore. I had to pix when we
were in Saint Martin's. Do you remember how we were
driving and the rainstorm and mission flight like they're the
moments that I'll never forget.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
Yeah. All for those of you who didn't hear, we
discussed at one point Susan's driving, I'm in the front seat,
passenger seat, the shotgun and Nancy's in the back. What
were you saying to us? Nancy? You idiots? What are
we doing? Were you idiots? Where where are we? It
was do right. It was when we were lost, and
(26:41):
you know what, what did we do?
Speaker 4 (26:43):
Signs?
Speaker 1 (26:44):
Well we did, Susan. I just all we were doing
was laughing.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
We were were canceling flights, hurricanes were coming.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
I'm like, this is serious, and they're just cracking it up.
You can't make it home, Nancy. This is called this
is called life. Enter.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
Another funny one was I went a little shopping in
these two when we went on the the Dutch side
of Saint Martin, and these two found a jewelry store
which our friendship bracelets came from. But wait, by the
time I found them, they had a lot of Champygo.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
That was another good movie, drink and buy.
Speaker 5 (27:22):
Got to the store and they're like, here's your You
got a friendship brace that's only close to one thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
Season we got diamonds, and of course we all got
them and we all have them.
Speaker 4 (27:32):
And of course we're friends now with the owner of
the jewelry store. Who wants us to come back this year.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
Well, we are, we are going back.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
We booked our trip and we're getting another bracelet.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
Yeah, I can't wait. All right, Kathy, you got my mortgo?
Where am I? Let's say? Okay, I've got another fun one.
What are it's all about? Me? Girls? Though I didn't
write them, I'm just reading them. What are the top
three things you like about me? And don't worry, I'll
answer for you too. What are the top three things
(28:03):
you like about me? Nancy? About you?
Speaker 2 (28:06):
It's just it's just you, I know, No Aunt Nancy,
Nancy Anty, Nancy Me?
Speaker 3 (28:17):
What are the top three things about her?
Speaker 1 (28:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (28:21):
I know?
Speaker 1 (28:21):
Like about Okay, that was a waste of five minutes.
Let the girl talk.
Speaker 4 (28:25):
I like Kathy well, like I said, her loyalty, her humor,
and her intelligence.
Speaker 1 (28:33):
Oh Nancy, Okay, you know what I love about you.
I love that you wear your faith on your sleeve,
on your heart, and you are not embarrassed for anyone
to know your faith in God and Jesus. And I
love that. I love your hair. I love that you
(28:53):
when we've been at your house, you make us feel
so warm. You're just a good friend. You'll always listen you.
Nancy is probably one of the best listeners in all
seriousness that I've ever met. What about you was that nice?
You should have seen the looks she just gave me.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
That's your question.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
What are the most three things that you love about me?
That you make me laugh? That you're a true friend.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
And your eyes, Oh my eyes, thank you, thank you?
Speaker 1 (29:23):
Okay. I love your energy, Susan. You have incredible positive energy.
You also go out of your way. I mean, guys,
you cannot believe what just this weekend is a perfect example.
Like if you come to my house, I'm going to
show where the toaster is, and like hope that you
go out to Starbucks and get your own coffee. Susan
(29:43):
has all kinds of food. It's it's nuts. She is
a host of you like me being Yeah, I like
you being Italian. And I also like that you are
a take charge person. If something needs to get done,
you know how to do it, and you take care
of me.
Speaker 4 (29:59):
Every It's like she's behind you picking up your cup.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
And I do better today. I was trying not to
do it before you were finished. Was focused.
Speaker 4 (30:09):
So I'm still sitting at the table because I sat
down late to no I was late, and so I
sat down. They were all had started. That's another thing
we can talk about later. But you never start to
eating before. Not everybody sits at the table.
Speaker 3 (30:23):
Anyway, it was, I know, a.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
Podcast to do, I know, and you didn't say grace either.
Speaker 4 (30:31):
I sat late, and so I'm still eating.
Speaker 1 (30:34):
Well everybody knew that.
Speaker 4 (30:36):
But all of a sudden, half the half the food's
gone off the table, and I'm like, I'm eating my babel.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
Nancy's sitting crab, Susan's at the kitchen sick, scrubbing, getting ready,
and I'm like, I'm almost done. Nancy sitting in the
corner going guys, I'm still eating, and sports me. Don't
mind me. I'm still eating, Okay, because take some more
before I take it away. Okay. So I just wanted
(31:05):
to wait say one thing in all honesty and our friendship,
and I hope everyone hears us and knows that the
friendships that we made on the Golden Bachelor are lifelong friendships.
We love each other, we take care of each other,
and this is not a put on. So be grateful
(31:25):
