Speaker 1 (00:02):
You're listening to Balls and Holes with Jessica Bowser and
Brian Pascarelli. Yo, yo, yo, we're back, noodle. We can't
do bad. All right, We're back with another episode of
Balls and Holes. We have a really special guest. We

(00:27):
do so. Some guys reached out to us on Instagram,
which happens often. I had no idea who these guys were.
I guess Ernie over at Golfer's Only app sent them
over to us. I sound like a robot um. Anyway,
they reached out and told us a little bit of
a story about how they quit their jobs and are

(00:51):
putting together a sprinter van and they're going to attend
every PGA event in twenty twenty four. They're hitting the road,
going to all the tournaments, and their mission is to
bring awareness around mental health. Now, I thought that this
was interesting because we too quit our jobs for our
own mental health. I guess the only difference is that

(01:12):
these guys are trying to bring awareness to other people's
mental health. I have so many questions. Yeah, I do too,
I do too. So I we're looking at their website.
They have other things they're doing. I can't wait to
talk to them. They're called the super Fans, super Fan Sprint.
They're called super Fan Sprint. Can't wait to talk to them? All. Right,

(01:33):
here we are, we have the super Fan Sprint. Guys. Awesome, awesome,
Hey guys, how's it going? So we have Matt Bull,
be Jake Deak and Braid and Gentle. Did I get
that right? Yeah? That was right. Yeah, we'll go with that.
Good to go. Oh, we're really interested in what you

(01:55):
guys are doing, I mean just generically speaking, like what
is it to tell everything? Yeah, So the idea kind
of started about a year ago today. Actually I think
literally the exact date, but but the Thursday of the
Waste Management Golf Tournament is when it started. Jake and

(02:17):
I were there with a couple other friends, and we
basically were looking at the schedule and we were heading
to LA for the super Bowl right after, and Jake
was saying that the next event was in LA and
we could go to that one too, And then we
looked the previous week was in Pebble Beach, which is
also in California, and so there was just sort of

(02:39):
a cluster of events that were all within driving distance
from each other, and so we got the idea of
taking a month or something off and just going to
a few events in a row, and it eventually just
spiraled out of control from there. So we when we
looked at the schedule even harder, we realized that most

(03:00):
events are actually pretty close together, bar like one or
two where there's quite a bit of distance in between.
Then obviously there's some that are not based in the
continental US or Canada. But we figured we could give
it a shot, and it was something that nobody had
ever done before. We did quite a bit of research
trying to figure out if that had ever happened before,
and didn't seem like anyone had ever tried something like

(03:22):
this before, and so we set our approach is basically
like you know what, let's let's go for it, Like
let's try something that's never been done before. Let's just
quit our jobs for a year. And we'd all expressed
an interest in doing the like living at the van life,
so we were sort of looking at a few combining

(03:43):
a few of our interests, which was obviously we're all
huge golf fans, but then sort of the adventure part
of it as well, and living on the road was
something that we all wanted to do at some point
in life, and so this idea was a really good
opportunity to combine those things. And then about a month
after maybe I would say that we once we decided
we were going to do this, we started to think

(04:07):
about how we should switch our mentality from it being
a really cool and epic golf adventure to how we
can use it as a platform to improve people's lives.
And so we thought for quite a while about what
sort of initiatives that we wanted to help benefit or
what causes we wanted to contribute to. And the three

(04:29):
of us all have had golf impact our mental health
positively in some way, and so that just seemed like
a natural cause for us to contribute to because we
think that golf has intrinsic mental health benefits and we
want to promote that to other people and show them
how golf can really improve their lives. And so we're

(04:51):
hoping to use the super Fan Sprint us going to
every single PG Tour event in one season as a
platform to really promote that net with the golf community
and all sorts of generations of golf fans. And the
third pillar that we have is we really want to
try and reduce or do what we can to reduce

(05:11):
the financial component of getting into golf. Obviously, it's a
very expensive to board and this is a huge barrier
to entry into the sport, and so we want everybody
to have access to the sports so that they have
access to the mental health benefits that they can experience
through playing, and so the helping to sort of reduce
those financial barriers just seemed also like a natural cause

(05:34):
that we should we should contribute towards. So that's where
we're at now. We've been working on this for about
a year. We were always going to start in the
twenty twenty three twenty four season to give us over
a year to prepare and figure out exactly what we
were going to do. And the PGA Tour starting in
twenty twenty four is shifting to a calendar year based schedule,

(05:57):
so that pushed our schedule back from September twenty twenty
three to January twenty twenty four, so that's our present timeline.
We'll be hitting the road January twenty twenty four. Living
out of a renovated school bus is the current idea,
but a small one, not a big, long one, not
a normal size one, and yeah, just going to drive
between every event and go to every event and obviously

(06:20):
enjoy the golf, but trying to our best to raise
money and raise awareness for the different causes that I
spoke about before. So super Fan Sprint is going to
short bus style it to every single PGA tournament. Yeah,
how do you think your mental health is going to
do while living in a small short bus together? That's
actually never come across the table. It's a pretty good

(06:41):
question no one's ever asked to Sat before. Actually, I
would say we're pretty good friends. Like obviously we wouldn't
be embarking on this journey without being really close friends.
And we've spent a lot of time together, the three
of us and being on trips and holidays and stuff together.
So obviously nothing to this magnitude, but we think we'll
do okay. I think one of the reasons why we

(07:04):
chose the short bus was the original idea was that
we are huge golf fans and we wanted to similar
to people buying season tickets for their favorite sports team,
we wanted to get season tickets to the PGA Tour,
and so we thought because of how many weeks there
were and how many tournaments there are that it is

(07:25):
going to be a grind to do it, and so
the short bus or not having an RV, basically it
not being very luxurious, really fit into our narrative. And
that's why we made that decision. In terms of how
our mental health will be affected by living in a
short bus and not having a ton of space, I
think there will probably be times where it's frustrating, but

(07:48):
I think we're preparing for it and we're going to
try and embrace it and just enjoy their eide. Yeah,
and like another thing too, it's like we'll have our
golf clubs with us. So obviously we've talked about how
golf is really positively impacted our mental health, so we're
gonna get out and play as much as we can.
We've already talked to a lot of brands and courses
about playing for free and stuff like that. And we

(08:08):
also have like this is like a tentative idea too
that Matt had is we want to bite between two
events if it's like close enough distance. So that's another
thing too, And just like being as physically active as
we can even though we're in a tight short bus
is something that we're going to do our best to
do as much as we can. So with with your

(08:29):
message of you know, mental awareness and all that, how's
the media coverage? Has anyone picked you guys up on this?
Like is they Are you guys getting any attentions? How's
it coming along? Yeah, nothing major yet. We have talked
to a lot of brands about about those kind of things.
So from a content standpoint on the road, like we're
always gonna have a camera running, well multiple cameras actually,

(08:52):
so we'll have like something live in the bus, something
outside the bus so it shows where we're going. We'll
have GoPros inside the events, We'll have our podcast so
we're going to be doing We already started our own
podcasts just to get our feet wet and just learn
the ropes of that. So those are the major things
that we plan on doing from a content perspective, and
then from like a whole encompassing media thing, like eventually

(09:14):
we see this as like someone will see our bus
like it's going to be green, it's like it's going
to be colored and it's going to be noticeable. So
at some point we are planning on incorporating some sort
of media in that I think it's just a really
tough thing to to promote, right because we aren't actually
doing it yet. So we are hoping that we'll get
some media attention which will ultimately drive people to help

(09:37):
contribute to the causes that we're trying to benefit. But
you know, similar to people that are you know, doing
running marathons or doing anything else for a good cause,
like once the once it actually starts, that's when it
tends to pick up a lot of steam. And so
we're doing our best to be on podcasts and we've

(09:58):
we've done a few, we've been interviewed by a few,
like local newspapers and things like that. But ultimately we
see it as hopefully just gaining traction once it actually starts,
and once there's something tangible for people to see actually
happening in real time. That'll lead in my next question
of how do you do guys afford to do this right?
You've all taken time off in order to do this.

(10:19):
You're obviously building out this awesome van or this bus.
You know, what what have you had to do and
what will you be doing at the you know, towards
the end of twenty three in order to prepare for
twenty four to get out there and make sure that
you guys are covered and are able to go complete
this mission. Yeah, that's that's a big problem that we've
had is the financing of this. Obviously, like living on

(10:40):
a road with no job, that's gonna be hard to
take in money. So we do have a few ideas
that we have so obviously, like our own life savings,
we're going to be saving up for that. We've started
our sponsorship ideas, so basically like we'll connect with brands
and where there's stuff at events, maybe put their logo
on our bus, do a video series with them, something
like that. So those are two biggest ideas we have.

(11:02):
And we also shot a Kickstarter video last summer. We're
gonna start a Kickstarter account and and use that. But
at this point, those are the big three things that
we've really started and focused on. So I got the
most important question here, what about the sponsorship from the females. Yeah,
you guys, are you guys getting permission from your wives

(11:23):
or girlfriends? What's happening here? Who's allowing you to do this?
We're all don't know, We don't have any of those. Yeah,
we're all that's Okay, Well then my follow up question is, uh,
you guys gonna put like a sock on the doorknob
and the small bus if you guys pick up, we're
going to your cell a bit all You're no, You're not.

(11:45):
I feel like maybe like in the middle of this,
like if times get a little tough, that like super Fans,
Sprint might end up with their only Fans page. It's
like a way to put this together, ye fly from
the bus, Yeah, fan slash super fan. You know it's
tough times out on the road, right, Oh my god,
So are you guys? What what kind of jobs did

(12:05):
you guys have to like quit and just do this?
So we haven't quit. We haven't quit yet obviously, Like
we're gonna keep our jobs as much as we can,
and like I know, we have talked about working maybe
part time on the road if we if we're able
to so for me, I do sports marketing. I'm down
in Orange County in California, and I'd work for hockey
team down here. Yeah, I was just gonna say, I'm

(12:27):
an engineer, so I like I'm same as the other
two guys that we're all still working right now, like
continuing to save for the trip itself and then they
I could probably do some like remote freelance work if
we if we're really in dire streets and Brandon, what
about you, I'm in sales for tell Us, which is

(12:47):
a Canadian telecom. So you guys are bringing your sticks
with you. You You guys are gonna play courses near there. Yeah,
that's the plan, Like, if we have the opportunity to
play golf, we will. Obviously there's a bit of travel
that will be involved and um so it'll kind of
depend on what our week is looking like. The tournaments
from Thursday through Sunday, so we'll have Monday through Wednesday

(13:09):
to get to the next event. So in some cases
that'll be only a couple hours drive. In some cases
it's like a coast to coast trips. It really depends
on the week. But we're hoping to you know, talking
about connecting with other people, Like we're really hoping to
get recommendations from people on golf courses that are good
in the area for us to check out, and even

(13:30):
even things like good places to eat for passing through
a certain town. So yeah, we're gonna try and play
as much as we can. For sure. So we'll have
the sticks on us at all times, and especially in
the weeks, like like what we're going through right now
with the tours going through right now where most of
the tournaments are in California, Like, the tournaments are only
a few hours apart, so we should have plenty of

(13:52):
time to get out out there during those during those weeks,
Jakes not bringing any underwear so we can fit our Yeah,
we're got to say for a year. So guys, obviously
you've mapped out like how this is going to go
and what this is going to look like. Have you
figured out, like this the mileage of this situation, like
how far you will be traveling throughout this year. So

(14:14):
there's no there's no official schedule yet, so we're still
kind of waiting on that announcement because they're switching this
year to the calendar year, so the it's a bit
of a logistical nightmare at this point. Yeah, we don't
know where we're starting yet where. We think it's probably Hawaii,
which would suck because we can't obviously drive there, But

(14:34):
it looks like from this point in the first tournament
would be in Hawaii. I guess you could rent a
bus in Hawaii to start out the tour, you know,
and yeah, definitely get the start down there. If this
goes well, guys and you guys get a lot of attention,
are you Are you guys going to live next there's
it all PGA, No, if anything we do LPGA. Yeah. Also,

(14:59):
I like the thing with us is like why we
Obviously we grew up watching the PGA Tour and that's
why we want to follow them. But the biggest thing
is that the LPGA is included in this, Like they're
they're really they do a lot in terms of philanthropic efforts,
and that really aligns with our mission statement and what
we're trying to do. They do a lot for the

(15:19):
people in the communities that they have tournaments in, and
so we're that really aligns with us in terms of
using our platform to try and help people and improve
people's lives. And so that's something that we don't really
see from Live that we which is you know, one
of the core reasons why we're sticking with the PGA Tour.
Are you guys going to get media passes? Are you

(15:41):
guys are gonna pay for every tournament? Yeah? So this
kind of goes back to the cost of doing things,
Like obviously there's there's some things that are a lot
more expensive than others. Right, So the main, the main
core expenses are obviously the vehicle and its renovations, and
the insurance is a huge expense, and then the tickets
themselves are our huge expense. So we've we've sort of

(16:02):
approached it in a few ways when it comes to tickets,
so we've reached out. We essentially have this massive Excel
spreadsheet that has every tournament and all the corporate sponsors,
and we've started actually going directly to corporate sponsors to
see if they can donate tickets to us. A couple
of years ago, I was working at a restaurant and

(16:24):
the one of the beers that we had on tap
is a Canadian brand, Steam Whistle, and they were sponsoring
the Canadian Open that year, and I was able to
get free tickets just through our sales rap at the restaurant.
So things like that, just trying to establish a connection
with corporate sponsors. They have tickets to give away, so
we're just trying to take advantage of that. And then

(16:45):
when it comes to the bus, like we're we're basically
accepting any kinds of any kind of donations, right, so
if people will donate tickets, or people will donate materials
for us to renovate the bus, or put us in
contact to someone that could help us get a vehicle
at a at a you know, a way cheaper rate
than if we were just going to the general market
for it. These are sort of ways that we're trying

(17:08):
to cut costs since it is so expensive. So our
ultimate goal is that we won't have to end up
incurring any costs to go to the events. And whether
that's finding a way to get a media pap, getting
media passes, or just through trying to create relationships with
corporate sponsors or sitting outside the event and scalping or something. Right, like,

(17:30):
we're we're pretty determined to figure it out. Yeah, there's
also like we know will be tougher to get tickets
to like the Masters in the US Open and like
the Majors. Right, So we do have ideas of like
doing like a tailgate watch party or something with the bus,
so we like pull out like an awning or something
and get a TV going and just like connect with
the community that if we if we have to. But yeah,
at this point, We're still looking at the corporate sponsors

(17:52):
for tickets and media passes. If something unfortunately happens and
you miss one of the tour events, is that like
the end of the trip? What's happening here? Are you
guys any safe? You know some fall back plans? I guess,
like there are international events like like in Europe, and
then there's Hawaii and like some in Japan. Right, so

(18:13):
at this point we are looking at doing all those,
but say, like it's like we can't fly there just
logistically it's like impossible. We'll go to an LPGA event,
or we'll do some other golf event or a charity
event or college event or something like that. But like
say the bus breaks down or something like that, Like
we haven't really I guess it would depend like maybe
we just missed a few days and just catch the

(18:34):
ending of it or something like that. But we obviously,
like we're committed to do it the whole year, so
it's not really stopping us. The goal is to have
at least one of us have some form of representation
at every tournament. Have you guys looked into the Guinness
Books of World Records? Are you guys going to feel
fill a record here or something something has to get done.
We actually get this question a lot. Really, Yeah, yeah,

(18:58):
we have. We at least haven't been able to find
a legitimate resource that has cited that this has been
done before. So we haven't reached out to the Guinness
Book of World Records directly, but we when we first
thought of this idea, we did quite a bit of
research on whether or not this has been done before,

(19:18):
for two reasons, one just to see if it was
a unique idea, and to if it wasn't a unique idea,
like seeing how someone else was able to pull it
off and seeing if we can steal some of their ideas. So,
from what we were able to find, there was nothing
legitimate that showed that anybody's ever done this before. So
we're hoping we'll be the first. And yeah, that's definitely

(19:41):
like reaching out to get to the Guinness. I guess
if that's the company, like we would be willing to
do that. We're just not sure if this is like
considered something that's world record worthy, if you will. I
feel like I just saw something that was I coined
as like ridiculous that they just got the world Oh
it was the world's longest kiss the other day and

(20:01):
it was like a couple who had stayed connected mouth
to mouth for like fifty two hours or it was
something ridiculous, I know, but but they did it, and
I thought, like my first thought was like, oh my god,
like anybody could do anything that hasn't been done. So
it sounds like you guys have a good shot we can, right, right,
let's go. Yeah, I suppose our record would be or

(20:26):
what we would be striving for is maybe like most
professional golf tournaments attended in consecutive weeks, yeah, or just
like like the problem is, well, I guess we'll see
what the schedule is like, right, we don't really know
how long the season's going to be because they're changing
to a completely new format. But yeah, I guess I
would be the record most consecutive PGA Tour events or

(20:48):
professional golf events attended. Yeah, it's also an Olympic here too,
that we're hoping to get out there if we could. Yeah,
what are you guys most excited about? Like? Is it
just the journey? Is it the accomplishment? What are you
guys looking forward to here? All those things? I think, right, yeah,

(21:09):
I think me personally, it's just taking it all in,
enjoying myself, you know, building that community kind of thing.
I think like I could speak to the other two,
like we're pretty good at just saying like, fuck it,
let's do it, because like you know, I like I
dropped everything, I moved to a new country and did this.
I think all three of us kind of want to
do something fresh, and I think we're all looking forward

(21:29):
to starting a new journey in our lives. So that's
a big thing for me. A big thing for me
is like if we can sort of build into what
we wanted to be and people are actively enjoying watching
us do this, and we're able to see people at
different tournaments and talk to them about our experience and
things like that and sort of build a community around

(21:50):
this trip, then I think that's something I'm most excited
for to, even though it's just the three of us
that are going to be out there doing it, to
have like a bunch of people cheering us on and
supporting us and doing it and then hopefully as a
result of that being able to benefit a couple of
good causes. But yeah, like I think just being on
the road and doing something, doing something different, and like

(22:11):
Jake said, we very much were kind of especially coming
out of the pandemic, we just felt like this was
as good a time as any to just kind of
say fuck it and chase a dream and do something different.
And you know, in the previously, we didn't really have
an idea of how we would just say fuck it
and do something different. And then when we thought of
this idea, it just seemed too good to at least

(22:31):
not give it. We don't wanted to at least give
it a shot. Right, Well, it's like what you guys
said too. About you guys before we hopped on, You
said you quit your jobs for mental health reasons, and
like maybe like doing this where we can just kind
of say fuck it, let's do our own thing. Like
hopefully other people will see that and just embark on
their own adventures where, you know, positively fix their mental
health too. Well. I've been a big proponent of free golf.

(22:54):
I think golf should be free and it should be everywhere,
and if everyone did it, we would be so much
as a public. That's how I see that. Yeah, it's
it's a friendmaking machine, and like that's a big reason
why we're doing this, right, Like one of the one
of the three sort of overarching pillars that we have
is to try and do what we can just being

(23:14):
three guys from Canada, to try and eliminate some of
those financial barriers make it more accessible the people, regardless
of what their income situation is or or whatever their
personal situation is. So we sort of we agree with
that completely, right. The more people we can get into
playing golf, the more people are gonna enjoy being a
part of this community and they're gonna be able to

(23:37):
reap the benefits mentally from playing and meet new people.
It just that's really what we want to try and
promote and help contribute to. I gotta ask it, how
old are you guys? I'm twenty six, twenty seven. I
just turned twenty nine, twenty nine. That's amazing. I love that,

(23:57):
you know, it's so rare. I think you guys hit
on something. The pandemic really brought on something where it
really made people stop and take a look. And I
mean we were all forced to stop and take a
look at like, how do we want to move forward?
How do we want to do things? Does it have
to look like it used to look? And it's exciting,
Like we're obviously a bit older than you guys, but
it's really exciting to me to see guys that are

(24:18):
your age that are like, all right, you know what,
we're gonna go chase the stream. We're gonna go do
this and we're going to see what we can do
with it. I mean, that's look, you get to do it.
At twenty six, twenty seven, and twenty nine, I was
forty when I turned around and was like, what the
fuck am I doing? Like I don't like any of this.
I want to do something different. And the way that
that started was getting rid of everything that I'd known
for twenty five years and saying I want to join

(24:41):
a country club and play as much golf as possible.
Like that was last January. Since then, we've played one
hundred and ninety games now together and it's like, you know,
we talk about what mental health is going to be
like in the bus together, but it's like when you
back that into when you're off the bus, you're on
a golf course, which is automatically like just such a

(25:01):
zin place to be right, Like you're already chilled out,
You're gonna get to play golf. You're going to get
to do all these things. I couldn't imagine a better
way to spend my time in the last year trying
to unwind from twenty five years of in my opinion,
not doing it the right way because I burnt myself
out so hard that you know, now it's completely changed
my life. I get to talk about this every week,
I get to go to tournaments, I get to meet

(25:23):
people like you, and you know, our life is totally
different now and it's changed everything mental health wise for me,
you know, personally, Yeah, exactly. I think I think we
will look at it holistically every day and just be like,
you know, this is exactly what we're doing. We're all
getting out of our sort of desk office jobs and
we're experiencing the world, and we're you know, using golf

(25:47):
as a as a platform to do something good for people.
So I think holistically we'll be able to look at
it every day and be like, we're so lucky that
we were able to make this happen. And so maybe
that's what I'm looking forward to the most. Just just
I'm sure we'll have opportunities to sit and reflect and
talk about how we were actually able to pull this off.
And I'm really looking forward to that. Well, obviously when

(26:11):
you get into LA at some point, we would love
to see you guys. We'd love to take you out
to our home club before you How good are you guys?
Be Yeah, who's the best? Yeah, we're weren't by no
means are we very good golfers? Like I'd say for
Jens and I breaking ninety would be like a great day.

(26:32):
I think for Jake it'd be breaking us probably Matt
Yeah right, sorry, gents, Yeah, I'm the worst. Yeah, I
love this. We are. We are all lefties too. Oh.
We have a co host named Darby who's lefty and
he's on the pod. We always do some gear review
with him. I that's yeah. So you guys have no

(26:55):
selection of clubs. Yeah, you guys have there's there's not
shit available to you. Eyes. It's dude, it's it's well
in the US. It's hard in Canada, like everyone's left
because it's we all play hockeys. Yeah, lefties are people too.
I feel like if you're out on this trip to
bring awareness to not only mental health, there should also

(27:17):
be like some awareness that you start garnering towards the
fact that like manufacturers need to cater more to left
handed people because clearly there's three of you that are
going to be living in a bus together and you
just don't see many left handed golfers. Like this is bullshit.
We gotta get you guys in some more gear. Yeah, no,
it's ridiculous. We go to Roger Dunn and it's like
there's the bin of left handed stuff and it's you know,

(27:38):
it's either yeah, that's where I got my clubs down,
here's Roger Dunn. So it's either like really nice lefty
clubs or really shit lefty clubs. So I want like
in the middle of that. And it's like you can't
get that in California. And even like when you're going
to I was going to say, even when you're going
to get fitted for clubs, which I've done before, like
just the customization options you have and things like that,

(27:59):
or it's like it's nothing compared to what rights have. Yeah,
I mean, we're any of us are big like equipment guys,
where we would notice something really minuscule that's different that
would be possible for a rity to change, and not
a lefty. But I remember going and and the guy
who was helping me out. Was just telling me about
all the different things he could do for me. If
I was a right he was like he was putting

(28:20):
it in my face. That was right, right, you're a lawyer.
Is there a discrimination clause here? Um? We got to
see the damages? What did you guys suffer? Yeah? How
have you suffered from being lefties and not having the
right equipment? Well, maybe we break it anymore. Oh, tell

(28:41):
tell all of our listeners where they can follow you guys,
where they can find where can they can donate all
of that stuff. Yeah, so our Instagram is super transparent. Um,
we are actually about to launch our new website pretty soon,
so I'll send you guys the link to that. It's
going to be super fransprint dot com. Right now, we're

(29:01):
on Wix, but for donations, we're just going through venmo
right now in the United States, so it would just
be a super Fan Jake on Venmo. And then if
you're listening in Canada, I don't know if you guys
have Canadian listeners, shoot us an email Superfan dot spurn
at gmail dot com if you want to get involved.
What if someone wanted to donate like a can of
beans for the truck like you know, like food. Yeah,

(29:25):
we will take literally any recommendations. So we just tell
people to shoot us an email and we'll figure it
out with them. I love that. Well, you guys, it
was super fun having you on. I'm really glad you
reached out. You're definitely gonna have to come back, you know,
throughout the tour and talk with us and let us
know how it's going. And we'll probably be at some
of the tournaments that you guys will be at as well.

(29:46):
So if that's the case, then we got to hook
up and party. Yeah. Yeah, is there anything you guys
want to add at the end to tell your your
viewers and your fans, any any last comments? I think
I'm good. We pretty much covered everything. Yeah, just fall

(30:07):
us on Instagram. Thanks for having us, Thanks for the sport,
Thanks for having us on the pod. It's been fun. Well,
we'll do a live episode of if you guys, if
you're out in LA, Yeah, we can meet up and
do a live episode. That would be pretty fun. That'd
be amazing awesome. Well, thanks for coming on you guys.
Really good to have you, and we'll keep in touch

(30:27):
to see how it's going. Correct, Yo, yo yo, Brian,
do you know what time it is? What time is it?
It's Mulligan times, Mullian time. It's Mullian times. Yeah yeah,
Mulligan time. Wow, like that one. This is the best one. Yeah,
all right, Well what's your Mulligan? I have Mulligan. I

(30:50):
really I wish I would have talked it, told the
super fans guys that, you know, they should have a
running bed who's first gonna get laid in a bus?
And you know, they should have like an ongoing bet
for the viewers to watch on live stream that there's
you know, is it gonna be Matt, Is it gonna
be Jake, or is it gonna be Braiden? Who gets

(31:11):
laid first? I mean that that's kind of a big
deal on the road. It is a big deal. And
what the aftermath of the bus is going to look
like after that happens, look like, what are the logistics
of that? It's gonna it's gonna smell like but DISSI,
Oh my god, I don't know who I have my
money on. But I you know, I think that's a
good idea to raise awareness. Maybe we should start it

(31:31):
right here. Maybe this should be like the sponsorship for
who gets laid in the superfan sprint bus? Right right? Yeah,
you know who do you think it's going to be.
I'm gonna reserve that to our next pocket. I'm not sure,
let me digest it. I mean, I feel like a
year on the road, three dudes in a van, like
the amount of different drama and chaos that's going to ensue.
I think that like next year for twenty twenty five,

(31:54):
like maybe they go and do this again and then
we need to get them like a another bus. That's
three chicks on the road also following the PGA tour.
That would be cool. Super fans and super chicks. Yep,
team up, yep. I think this is great. Guys. I
hope you're listening to this because that that sounds amazing.
That's why Mulligan I I. It hasn't happened yet. They're

(32:16):
not doing the tour yet, so they don't know what
to expect, but I already know what's going to happen.
They seem like cool guys. Yeah, sure, it's going to
be an adventure. Oh my god. Well, we talked so
much at length in our house about you know, adventures.
It's all about the journey, right, it's all about the
experience that you have. And you know, experiences is what
is it real when shared? Yeah? So from Into the Wild,

(32:39):
that awesome book and movie, it says happiness is real
when shared. So they're sharing their happiness right now. They're
sharing their experiences, and they're doing it as a group,
and hopefully they share it to everyone else that follows them.
I think that's gonna be great. It's gonna be amazing. Man,
what a great idea. Yeah, I don't think we could
do that. You don't think you and I could do that?

(33:00):
What are you talking about? We spend like all of
our time together. I know you don't think we could
do that in a van and then trying to get
to the next tournament. Oh, you'd be a fucking nightmare, dude,
Like you, if I miss a turn when we're on
a road trip, it is like catastrophic for you. I
would I wouldn't want to pay for the event, so
I would try really hard to like figure out a

(33:22):
way to get sponsored or something. Can we move back, though,
just a step to where it's catastrophic when I make
a wrong turn? I mean, like I feel like I'm
a road trip girl at heart. I feel like you
would have a much harder time in a van traveling
across the country to attend PGA tournaments. Like, is it
because you're a bit more bougie than I am? Oh?

(33:42):
Is that what it is? It's not about bougie, it's
not about it's about the structure. It's about like you,
you know, like, look at what happens when you pick
me up from the airport. I mean it's a complete
disaster if you're not in the right lane at the
right time, and I'm not in the right spot, Like
it's complete meltdown now and a half hours driving back
from LA to Burbank. Yeah, that's a disaster, trust me.
I just I just am surprised to hear you say

(34:04):
that you don't think we would do well. I would
do great. Oh in a huge winnobego, not a school
buzz I mean, I need a shitter, I need a pizzer,
I need I need a fucking stove. Right, So, bougie,
that's not bougie. I'm just doing it like I'm the camper,
You're the glamper. Wow, this sucks. I guess my mulligan. Um,

(34:29):
I don't know that I have a mulligan. I think everything.
We haven't played golf this week. It's been a week
since we played golf. I will say that I beat
all the boys last Sunday. I had a glorious day
of golf. I didn't even care. I wasn't even trying.
I shot a seventy eight. I did have There were
some significant changes though that happened. I was not your

(34:50):
cart partner. I was Darby's cart partner last Sunday, and
I don't know what happened between Derby and I, but
there was this like this like this twin flame thing
happening where like we were just chill and like you
and your cousin Dave were out and I don't know
what was going on in your cart, but like in
our cart, we were just like zinned out golfing and
I played amazing. Now that being said, we are getting

(35:12):
ready to play golf this weekend leading into the Genesis
Invitational at Rivera and our good friends Sam Han is
coming to town and we get to play golf with
him on Sunday. And I will say there's a little
bit of fear in me after not playing for a
week and having hit a seventy eight last week of
what typically happens after I play one of the best
games of my life is I eat absolute shit. Yeah.

(35:34):
We're going to be playing with the CEO, Sam Han
of Love Golf, And I'm telling you, Jess, I'm a
little nervous too, because I'm bringing out all like my
really awesome clubs that I haven't played with in a while. Yeah,
just to kind of impress them. And I've been playing
my other clubs that are not as impressive, but I
play well with them. I'm definitely gonna be using his putters.
You know, I don't want to get in You might

(35:55):
get in an altercation if you don't altercation. But yeah,
we're looking forward to that. Yes, we are going to
be at the Genesis Invitational Riviera Country Club here all
next week. Yeah, all next week, Pacific Palisades. Our next
show will probably be a huge recap of all of
our experiences. We are taking Derby Derby our co host
is coming with us, So this should be really fun.

(36:16):
It's gonna be awesome. Hey, babe, I love you. I
love you too. Where can they find guys? They can
find us at Balls the Letter in Holes Golf. That's Balls,
The Letter in Holes, Golf Balls in Holes, Golf Balls
