Hi! I'm Jim Jacob, a South Carolina based creator. I started as a podcaster by accident. Our first real episodes on the internet were me trying to find a solution to help tell my sons stories as I was traveling for work. I recorded some stories and hoped that by uploading them to a podcast app, my wife and kids could have easy access to listen. What started as a fix for our family’s bedtime routine interruption has grown into a worldwide audience with hundreds of thousands of listeners. Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello friends, and welcome to bedtime Stories with mister Jim. Oh.
I was just getting ready for bed, are you as well?
Oh good? I hope you brushed your teeth and found
all of your comfy things like pillows and blankets and stuffies.

(00:27):
Oh yes, oh good. Well, as long as you have
all those things ready, then it's time for our story.
But first we must close our eyes so that we
can travel to an imaginary world. Once upon a time

(00:53):
and a land far far away, there was a beautiful
forest filled with all sorts of wonderful creatures. In this
forest there lived a kind and gentle rabbit named Lily.
Lily was known throughout the forest for her warm heart

(01:13):
and her love for adventure. One day, Lily decided to
explore the deepest and darkest parts of the forest. She
hopped and skipped through the trees, taking in the sights
and sounds of the forest around her. As she wandered
deeper and deeper into the forest, she came across a

(01:35):
sparkling river that flowed through the heart of the forest.
Lily followed this river until she came to a clearing
in which she saw a beautiful tree with a door
carved in its trunk. It was very curious looking. She
knew that she had to go check it out. She

(01:59):
knocked on the door, and to her surprise, it opened.
Inside she found a cozy little cottage filled with all
sorts of wonderful things. She explored the cottage, marveling at
the toys and games that were scattered throughout the rooms.

(02:23):
She even found a beautiful music box that played a soft,
soothing melody. Ellie was so happy that she decided to
stay in this cottage for a while and play with
all the wonderful things she had found. But just as

(02:44):
she was settling in, she heard a loud crash from outside.
She ran to the window and saw a group of
mean foxes that had entered the clearing and were wreaking
havoc on the beautiful forest. Oh no, she said. Lily

(03:08):
knew that she had to do something to stop these
mean foxes, so she gathered all of the toys and
games from the cottage and went outside to face the foxes.
She used her quick wits and her kind heart to
outsmart the foxes, and before long they were running away

(03:33):
from the forest, never to be seen again. The animals
of the forest were so grateful to Lily for saving
their home that they threw her a big, happy celebration,
and from that day on, Lily was known as the
bravest and kindest rabbit in the whole forest. As night

(04:04):
fell and the stars began to twinkle in the sky,
Lily hopped into her cozy bed in the cottage and
fell fast asleep, dreaming of all the wonderful adventures she
was going to have this very beautiful forest. The end
