Pretty much? Yeah, I mean it comes back like ten
fifteen minutes. You just have to wait for the stick
to like tell you the colors of what in his key?

I guess, so it's only within Like if you've done
drugs recently, you don't know about me.

Yeah, what happens if it comes up positive?

out to Dave must mean that it came back negative.

Yeah, so then I mean we went to dinner.

He was just making weird kind of jokes, so like
off handed comments.

At one point I was like, what do you do
for the weekend. What's your hobbies or whatever. He's like,
not drug stuff.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
It's kind of funny but also kind of suspicious.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Or you could have been like, I do tons of
drugs and that would also be fun.
Speaker 6 (04:41):
It sounds like he's having a hard time getting over
that initial drug test, the shock.
Speaker 5 (04:45):
Okay, yeah, and I mean he did also call me
the FBI of bumble.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
I mean, okay, well, but it's cute to establish nicknames
early on in the relationship.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
So maybe we could look at that as a good
active game whatever.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
Okay, Okay, was there any flirting?
Speaker 6 (05:02):
There was flirting.

I feel like we had a good connection otherwise, like
when we were talking about other things, but he did
seem to kind of go back to that a little bit.

But here's the big question. Was there a kiss.
Speaker 5 (05:13):
There was not a kiss. There was a hub and
he said he would call me and we'd go out
again and then nothing.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
It's a different type of test before the kiss happens.
Speaker 5 (05:23):
Yeah, definitely a different type of test before the bed happened.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Yeah. Well, at least you're thinking of that.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
So it sounds like he couldn't recover from the test,
but like, why, like he passed it that's the thing.
Speaker 6 (05:34):
I think the more you sit with it, probably the
stranger it starts to feel, like maybe you take it
and then you're just like.
Speaker 4 (05:39):
Why did I what did I just do? Or you're
into that stuff like you don't want to date someone
who's note.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
Not to mention, it was a huge surprise to him.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
He wasn't expecting to actually have to provide a sample
in front of her on the first time that they met.
So at what's happened since that date ended? How long
has it been.
Speaker 5 (05:58):
It's been about a week, I guess. I waited a
couple of days for him to contact me, and then
I did reach out like two days ago, just text
him like, hey, it was great meeting you. I'd love
to see you again or whatever. And I haven't heard
of anything.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
It's important that she gets ahold of them. There's not
many men that can pass that test.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
Yeah, right, so that's a big deal.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Yeah, so let's call this guy in a couple of minutes. Here,
we'll find out what he has to say. I can't imagine.
I mean, you've already tested his pe Like it's I
don't know what base that would be in romance terms.
Speaker 1 (06:27):

Speaker 2 (06:28):
I think it's in the ballpark, Okay, in the alleyway
behind the.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
Ballpark maybe, Okay, yeah, but we're.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Gonna get whatever his answer is when we call him,
come back, get your second date update.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
I can already picture the wedding vows when Dave is
up on that altar and says, Samantha, from the moment
you pulled out that six Hounds plastic cup and asked
me to provide you a sample, I knew you were
the one.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Tears everywhere.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Nothing says love like urine testing.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
You know we're not exaggerating either.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Samantha actually has a rule that she cannot date anyone
who uses drugs because of her job. It's not allowed
and to be damaging to her image in her career
to associate with people like Brook and Jose for example.
Speaker 7 (07:20):
Yeah, so that's why I want.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
To get a test. See how it is.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
But that's the thing her date, Dave did provide a
sample past the test and.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Was clean, So it should have been smooth sailing from there.
That's what I keep saying. I keep going, Man, he
was nervous and tough, but he passed.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
Yeah, I mean it's weird that he was acting so
strange on the date, right, Samantha.
Speaker 5 (07:42):
Yeah, that's the thing I forgot to ask.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
Did you explain to him the job aspect of this?
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (07:48):
I mean I told him as much as I could
about my job. I can't really go into a lot
of details, but you seem to get it.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
He said, you like an important job, or like I
have a very important job. Almost.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Well, we have an important job right now. To get
Dave on the other line and get some answers out
of him.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
Yeah, drug test him again?

This is kind of random, but we're calling on behalf
of one of our listeners that you went on a
date with recently, a girl named Samantha.
Speaker 8 (08:54):
Okay, yeah, I remember Samantha, I.
Speaker 4 (08:57):
Bet yeah, I would think that's a date that's hard
to forget.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
And so we're doing this segment called a second date
update because we know there hasn't been a second meetup.
She's a little bit confused about why it's not happening yet.
Speaker 8 (09:12):
Wait, did she make you guys call me?
Speaker 4 (09:15):
Didn't make Yes, it was a pretty interesting story about
your date.
Speaker 8 (09:19):
So yeah, it was different.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Yeah, different is a good way to describe it. According
to her, she asked you to come pick her up
at her place.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
She pulled out a drug test. You seemed surprised about that.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Anybody would be surprised, even though she did mention it
to you before you went out, and you still were.
Speaker 8 (09:37):
Shot right, Yeah, I mean definitely it was a first
for me having a drug test before going on a
day for sure.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Were you worried about passing it?
Speaker 8 (09:48):
No, I mean, you know, I'm pretty good about all
that stuff.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
But that's what we heard. It came back all clean,
and you guys went out to dinner. But she said
that you seemed a little bit uncomfortable when you were
out because you were making some jokes and comments, being
very adamant about not using drugs.
Speaker 8 (10:07):
Yeah, I mean, like, what else am I supposed to do?
I mean, yeah, I just got a little shocked.
Speaker 6 (10:10):
I actually applauded your humor, like to call her the
FBI of bumble.
Speaker 8 (10:15):
She said, oh, yeah, yeah, FBI da something. I don't
know what she does.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
But yeah, right, So, I mean, yeah, she told me
about the drug test. But did she tell you about
her dog?
Speaker 4 (10:28):
Her dog?
Speaker 1 (10:29):
No?
Speaker 4 (10:29):
We didn't you hear about a dog at the apartment?
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Yeah, no. So she sets up the date and then
we go to a bar that's like dog friendly, there's
other dogs. She didn't come right out and say, but
I'm pretty sure her dog is like a drug sniffing dog.
Speaker 4 (10:45):
What what?
Speaker 1 (10:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (10:47):
Why would you think that?
Speaker 3 (10:49):
It is like stiff in my pants the whole time.
It's a German Shepherd, Like she's kind of like looking
at him like wait for him to signal something like.
It's just awkward, like even after the drug test.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
Yeah, honestly, that would make sense.
Speaker 6 (11:01):
Why she would need a drug test every one? So
her dog doesn't attack them?
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Do the dogs instantly attack?
Speaker 4 (11:09):
They do?
Speaker 1 (11:12):
They sit and they're like ready to attack. I think
they just point at whatever.
Speaker 6 (11:15):
Still, it would make whatever they do Jeff attacked by
a drug dog before?
Speaker 4 (11:21):
Yeah, but they scare me, even the beagles.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
So you're saying, are you one hundred percent sure that
her dog is a drug sniffing one?
Speaker 3 (11:28):
I mean, come on, say, but I mean the way
he was active. Also the German shepherd and the whole
drug testing that put it in my head. I was
like one plus one equals too. You know.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
I feel like all German shepherds are drug dogs, you know,
the ones that aren't trained their snitches.
Speaker 5 (11:41):
The other ones did it go to other people at
the bar, like was it sniffing out?
Speaker 3 (11:46):
I mean she was holding a pretty tightly show, so
I really don't know.
Speaker 6 (11:50):
You know, even though you were totally clean and innocent,
I would start to feel like I was on drugs
in that moment.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Yeah, yeah, yeah drug lord.
Speaker 6 (12:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (12:01):
Well I felt like I was like Walter White.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
The only way to find out for sure the status
of her and her dog is to just ask Samantha,
who's on the other line right now waiting to talk
to you.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
Oh dude, you didn't tell me she was listening.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yeah, that's how this works. But Samantha there, oh god, yeah,
I'm here. He would you would like to address the
allegations against your dog.
Speaker 5 (12:26):
Uh, yeah, my dog is not a drug sniffing dog.
And that sounds really paranoid.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
Drug users are a little bit paranoid. He wouldn't be
so upset about it if he didn't have something to hide.
The girls just said.
Speaker 4 (12:42):
At the airport, I'm always scared the same.
Speaker 5 (12:46):
I don't know. I think it's just suspicious that, like,
you passed the drug test, but then.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
Like, what are you hiding?
Speaker 5 (12:51):
Like you seriously think I also brought a drug sniffing dog.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Well, I mean, what else am I supposed to think?
Like this is the first time we've had a drug test?
And then yeah, the way the dark actor, I mean.
Speaker 5 (13:01):
I've been honest about everything. I told you ahead of
time that that's what was gonna happen. You showed up,
you passed it, Like what are you?
Speaker 1 (13:07):
What are you hiding?
Speaker 5 (13:08):
If you're thinking like you're automatically.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
The whole thing was just such a bizarre experience. It
was supposed to be a date like romantic and fun.
That wasn't any of that, Like have you ever had
one of those words like fun?
Speaker 2 (13:22):
Or do you?
Speaker 5 (13:22):
I mean, I.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
Feel like if you have nothing to hide.
Speaker 5 (13:25):
Then it should have just been a like a you know,
you pass this test and now let's go have fun
and like be normal and not worry about it.

Or yeah, you could just leave your German shepherd at
home and then we could go through something like fun.

I mean, I feel like you should just say, oh

It honestly did not occur to me. That's why I'm
just like, I don't know how to have responded.

I mean, at the end of the day, the way
you're talking to me right now makes it seem like
maybe you did drugs in the past. You're a little defensive, like.

It sounds like you're hiding something, and so yeah, I
mean I'm curious, like what that's all about.
Speaker 8 (14:07):
This is exactly why I called you the FBI.
Speaker 5 (14:11):
If there's smoke, there's fire, and so I wouldn't be
doing this if it wasn't actually an issue in it.
Speaker 4 (14:17):
If there's smoke, you'll find Jose. So it's true.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
Yeah, yeah, I mean, oh god, we're such degenerates.

At the end of the day, maybe Samantha should ease
up on it. But at the same time, Dave made
an assumption that wasn't true.
Speaker 6 (14:37):
Okay, so now that you know that it's a non
drug sniffing dog like, so that's.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
That's both of them making a mistake. We agree that
we're all flawed, but none of us do drugs. Not
on the No one on this call does.
Speaker 1 (14:49):

So let's just try and come together for one more
date that we would pay for.

I would go out with Dave again. I mean, I
haven't seen any other red flags.

Other than it's like Karen Oyan, I mean, honestly, compared
to most people dating online.
Speaker 1 (15:27):

Yeah, I mean, as long as you don't bring the doctor,

This is a great example of how not every first
date goes per fly with non stop romance and constant
firty conversations, none of.

I mean, it's the only time a man has pulled
down his pants on a date and it has not

Sometimes even good relationships start with hiccups and mistakes where
maybe you spill some ketchup on your shirt, maybe you
get cavity searched by her bomb sniffing.
