Speaker 1 (00:00):
Today. There's a five year old, sweet little girl out
there who's having a birthday party, and her name is Monica.
Her dad said he wanted to be involved with the party,
so Mom gave him just one task, order the cake
and make sure it arrives on time. What she didn't
mention was she's also going to contact us to say

(00:21):
make sure something goes horribly wrong with his cake order.
And I was like, okay, you know what we can
do that. It's your phone tap right now? Hello, Hi,
this is Raymond from bakery. Is this David Potson? Yes,

(00:42):
it is hi. You ordered the red velvet cheet cake, right, yeah?
I ordered the cake? Is it? Well? It was? But
then I had to make a little detour back to
the store. But now it was, well, I'm back on
the road now, so it's almost there. No, No, I
don't need to almost be here. It here. It's just

(01:03):
there was an issue with it. But I think we're good. Now.
What do you mean what do you what do you
mean issue? What issue with my cake? Yeah? I mean
this whole day has been kind of crazy for me,
Like we had so many weddings and events and stuff
that we had. That's all well, and good. But this
is my daughter's birthday we're talking about or the cake. Well,
I would argue that a wedding is probably bigger than
a kid's birthday, but I wouldn't say you could argue that.

(01:25):
But that's not what I paid for. I paid for
the cake to be here by now. Well that's what
I was doing. And I was in the van picking
up one of the other cakes and I bent over
and I lost my balance and I kind of sat
on yours. No, no, no, you could not sit on
my cake. Yeah, but I mean, don't worry. I fixed it.
We're all good. Fix you sat on. Well, I just thought,
obviously you're not going to want a big butt imprint

(01:46):
on the cake because that would be pretty weird. So yeah, yeah,
a little bit weird, right, so my daughter who's five
years old. That's why I had them fill in the
divot with just a bunch of extra frosting. Okay, maybe
you don't get it. I know you're just a delivery guy,
but I do not want a cake that somebody sat on. Well, no,
it's fine, Like you wouldn't be able to tell unless
you like cut into it or something. I do fit

(02:10):
if you cut into a cake, which is exactly what
you do to a cake. Okay, realize that there's something
wrong with the cake. Well you're not gonna like this either,
but the cake topper you ordered also got smashed. Oh
my god, good news is I and I think you're
gonna like this. I had one of the pastry chefs
redo a quick figurine of the little blind girl on
the top of it. What it's real good? What are

(02:30):
you talking about? She has like sunglasses and a cane,
super cute looking. Oh they're supposed to be a little
blonde girl on top, not a blind girl or a
blonde Oh god, did I read the note wrong? Are
you serious? The day is just okay. Look, I can
take it off. That's not a problem. I just know

(02:53):
whoever Veronica is, I think she's going to be really happy.
I'm gonna lose it. It is not Veronica. It is
Monica Monnica. But Veronica is what it said on my
pants when I looked in the mirror. You are the
stonest delivery person in the history of the world. You
know that, like you get that. Your job understands that
it was a little harsh. I'm sure there must be
at least one delivery driver out there who's worse than me.

(03:15):
My wife is gonna freak out. Okay, not happening. Just
I just need to think I can fix this. Don't
fix a thing. I'm not taking a cake. I'm not
taking it. Hold on, oh, I got an idea. Hold on?
What the are you doing? Okay, it's good, We're good,
and so now it says happy birthday Onnica. No people
call me that, right. I'm not paid. First you stood

(03:38):
on it, then you lick it. I'm not paying for it.
Well would it make you feel any better though? If
I told you this is all made up and your
wife brought the cake home yesterday? What are you talking about? Yeah? Like,
my wife brought what the cake that you bought? Because
I'm not really working from the bakery. This is a
prank phone call from a radio station. Your wife Katie
listens to What are you talking about? Please tell me?

(04:00):
Are you joking right now? I kind of am joking
because my name is Jeff from brook and Jeffrey in
the morning and we're doing a phone tap on you man. Yeah,
are you serious? Like this is a joke? Yeah? Man?
Your wife said that you were really stressed about this
because it's the one thing that she puts you in
charge of for your daughter's birthday. Yeah, and so she
thought that she could mess with you about it. Oh

(04:21):
she was right. I mean, you put a blond girl
on top of my cake'sd A blonde girl. I thought
that was quick thinking. Your daughter could wear sunglasses and
carry around a cane just for the day, right, you know,
next Halloween weeke up. Every morning was Phone Tap weekday
mornings on the twenties Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
