I was ninety. Now I'm gonna be ninety two in me,

We were about to start our second season and we're
very excited to see everybody here and see In one,
we've focused on Jewish grandmothers, and now we're opening it
up to all grandmothers. It's like Levi's Rye Bread used
to say, you don't have to be Jewish to love leaves,

So you don't have to be Jewish to be I'd
call your grandmother. That's true. Every grandmother and grandcham have
their own unique relationship. I'm very excited about this. We're
happy to be back. We've missed you all. One day
I opened Messenger up. I am very very adept at

(01:30):
this electronics stuff, so I opened Messenger up. I had
maybe three hundred messages from people I didn't know a
three hundred okay, two hundred reader? Did you open yours up?
I don't know how to open it up? I cannot
tell you. I never even finished going through them. But

(01:51):
when I walk into the supermarket, the manager did, and
all here comes to celebrity, and all the checkout girls
know me. I get checked immediately. They don't. Dr Ruth. Oh,
I'm Dr Ruth. Well, that story you've heard already, so
I'm not going to repeat it, but I'm telling you
in my building, I get into the elevator, oh, the

celebrity because he had a picture in the New York Post,
a full page. That's right, right, right, right right, So
everybody in the building knows me. But whatever, only took
me ninety one years to be in celebrity, So am
I welcome in any time it comes. When I went
for my first shot, the nerve said to me, pull

(02:33):
down your mask please, And I said, why is something wrong?
She says, no, I want to see your face. She says,
I get the grandmother. I said, I am a grandmother.
She says, no, the one that was on television yesterday.
I said, yes I am. She Ah, wait till I
tell everybody. And it was the day after we were

(02:53):
on Hoda and Jenna. And now that, Oh, didn't you
see us on Steve? Steve Harvey, Breda Kay and Ellen
Grosky are two sassy grannies who dish out some unfiltered
grandmotherly advice. Oh my god, what was that? An experienced reader?
He could not have been nicer. Everybody was so receptive.

(03:15):
They really was so welcoming and so kind. How can
I get my husband to romance for me again? Well,
go to a store and buy some porno movies. Some
porno movies, poor no movies. Just a minute. You don't

(03:35):
know who he was? Did it next? At I would
have said, you don't know who you sit next to you.
Did you hear what he said at the end? He
said he really didn't know what to expect, but he
said he got advice that he really respected. When you
hear a man has lost his wife, you make a
tune of noodle cats a role you ring the doorbelly

(03:58):
and say, I feel so sorry. I heard your wife
just in New York. These widows trolled the New York
Times for death's orbits. This is have the honest truth.
And he was very keys with us, and he gave us.
I was sitting next to him and she started in

(04:20):
with the pawn and he said, did she say, pawn? Well,
I tell you what they told us. The more outrageous
you are, the better. He liked it. So that's all
I had to hear. You could be outrageous. So I think,
what could happen If he didn't like it, He'll cut
it out. But he liked it, so what can I

(04:40):
tell you? As we were walking out, one of the
producers took my hand and he said, this was one
of the best ones we ever did, and we'd have
got full syelashes. They put on full silations. Always said
let me take them home. I could never do it
million years, Are you kidding? I bought I blind myself

(05:04):
with the glue. I guess the highlight of my year
was that we're all still alive. But I'm not going
into anything yet personal. But it was a hard year.
To be funny. It was a terrible sex in the

(05:26):
city stopped being something that interested me at all. The
first one was enough. I'm not going to watch Bridgeton anymore.
They took away my favorite going Yeah, me too. The
other brother doesn't do it for me. Oh, I got
hooked on something. I'm embarrassed to tell you. Why married
at first sight. There's a dumbing down of America right now.

(05:47):
There's one show that these women only want to marry
men who are in jail, which is something every mother
wants her daughter to aspire to, right right. Devin Creo,
did you ever hear of him? He's a wonderful singer.
He does this show for an hour and a half,

(06:08):
Try to get it on. He is fabulous, He's stunning
and he's charming. I could have a question him and
maybe a little too old for him, but you never know.
That's good. I'm not opening my mouth. It's not your
mouth that you have to open. It seems that that

(06:36):
we cross a lot of lines when we speak to
to just being grandmother's and a lot of people really
and truly have this this grandmother feeling. Well. You know,
the funniest thing that I love is when my grandson's
put it on their Facebook and they all know me,
I get little emailed from an awesome reader. Keep going.

(06:59):
It's a cutey think that the kids appreciate the grandmother relationship.
You know, they want to meet me in person. Absolutely.
I love doing it. I loved participating in it. I
loved all the side things that came from it, all
the all the lovely relationships. I'm very anxious to get
started again because this has been one of the most

(07:22):
wonderful experiences of my life. Truthfully, it's a road I
never thought i'd traveled. Who thought about who? We even
know about how podcasts? No less doing one? Oh I
knew what a podcast was barely I barely knew. Let
me tell y'all something. Y'all have been a complete joy man,

(07:42):
I really because you know what, I love to see people,
especially two and still doing something. We're lucky, we're doing it.
We are lucky. We're very lucky. And I'm going to
say to all of you, nobody knows what tomorrow rings
for anybody. Whatever you could do, don't say no, do anything,

(08:05):
don't die and say I wish I did this, I
wish I did that. There's no coming back. Do everything
now do it? Now call it? Do it? Now don't go.
