Speaker 1 (00:00):
Put it this way, I was never the Charlotte, you know.
I think I lean more towards the Samantha. I'm okay
with it. Calm down with Erin and Carissa is a
production of iHeartRadio. Welcome everybody to the pre game. Are
you ready? We have Shan Holland I'm meeting Swedish Fish. Sorry.

(00:21):
What do you hope people say about you when you
leave a room? Oh? God, it depends what room. What
do I want people to say about me versus what
people might say about me? I mean, I think there's
like that whole feeling that you hope that people I
don't know say something nice. But I think I would
if I died tomorrow at my funeral, what I would
want somebody to say about me is that I was

(00:41):
a nice person who was authentically themselves sort of all
over the place of times in a little wild but
being authentic is really my like number one. If I
could like have that reputation good, bad or indifferent, I'm
okay with it. What about you? I would definitely want
the nice part. I mean, listen, and we all know
I'm a little lippy, a little mouthy, a little opemunated.

(01:04):
You want to know what bothers me, everything, everything, but yeah,
same thing, not that that I was just here's a
word organic that I just was honest and I listen.
I love with my heart and when I love, I
love a lot and I feel like I'm really loyal
oil to people. So hopefully they feel that way as well.

(01:26):
I think that all of those things would be said
about you, Dull next time, Blake Johnson one two nine
eight Best TV show of all time? For me, it's friends,
Friends and more Friends. She was going to say that
best TV show of all time. I don't know. That's
hard for me because I'm not like a I'm not

(01:47):
like you. Part of your wedding vows was Seinfeld with
you and Jail like you guys have your shows. I
don't know, I don't know that's hard for I mean,
Sex and the City is up there for me, like
just an and it still works, like I'll go back
and watch those shows and now being watching those shows
twenty years removed. For probably that's dramatic, maybe a decade

(02:09):
removed from when I watched them, like now being in
my forties watching it versus when I was in my
thirties watching it, like it's just I don't know, it's
timely and the writing Michael Patrick King like that writing,
how it all just came back together in the way
she put a bowl on Carrie would put a ball
on it at the end. I don't know. I just
I think that would be my top. We used one

(02:29):
of the lines this weekend when we were away and
something was very slippery and Chris looks back and goes,
this is slippery, and I used to carry line. These
steps are very dangerous when big dumps are like says
he's engaged or whatever and she slips or whatever. In
a friend group, do you did you ever have the like, oh,
this person's that like I had from my high school

(02:51):
group of friends. There was definitely like the clear cut
like there's there's the Samantha, there's the Charlotte, there's the
carry Yeah, I mean I don't think I have that.
Oh yeah, I mean I do. I can't say I
don't have that many girlfriends, because I do. You do
have a teen of girlfriends, You have different groups of girlfriends, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
they're all like separate breaks. But yeah, but yeah, I

(03:13):
know I always like that I was put it this way.
I was never the Charlotte. You know, I think I
lean more towards the Samantha. I'm okay with it, Anonymous.
We love that a registry for a kid's fifth birthday party?
Calm down, Wow, this is your sister, This is right.
Where do you have a registry for Max's first birthday party?
Because I like to know what he wants? No, But

(03:35):
my only thing for that is it took me forever
to have a kid, and even though I do have
a kid, I don't know what older kids. I only
know what a nine month old and a ten month
old would like. So I feel like that would be
really helpful for people that don't have kids. And how
about the other thing. You don't want to buy a
kid double of what he has. And my girlfriend just

(03:57):
had a five year old party for her daughter, and
I was like, unicorns or ballerinas, cause like I don't know, Yeah,
I don't know. I don't know if I'm mad about it.
I actually now you're convincing me because at first, and
we've talked about it a little bit before, I know
some people that have spent a lot of money on
their kids' birthday parties, and I'm like, why don't you
put that money in a savings account. They'll appreciate it

(04:18):
more when they're eighteen. I don't think i'd look back
and be like, hey, remember that bounce house that I
had and you spent twenty twenty grand on it my
seventh birthday party? That was fun, mom. I think the
eighteen year old wants that check that says Seya, I'm
off to college. But as it pertains to buying gifts,
I don't have. My niece turned fourteen yesterday. I'm I'm
the worst and the world. I'm like, you want money,

(04:38):
I'm just gonna give you money, Like that's no thought,
no whatever. But I'm like, what is a fourteen? And
I don't want to buy you something that's like super
girly if you're like not into that or to your point, like,
I don't even know what they like. I have no idea.
When someone's like, all my kids eight, I'm like, what
are they into? I'm so far removed from like being
around younger kids. I don't know. I just I'm into it. Literally,

(05:00):
I bought my mom a gift. You do great Instagram
clothes shopping. I just bought my mom a gift for
Mother's Day from mac and it was about being a grandma.
But she just texted me and she goes, Hi, what's this?
Who's it's already two weeks early? And I was so
enjoying my life that I bought too, And my mom goes,

(05:23):
who are these two poor? And I was like, well,
I obviously was, so I was having such a good time. Mom,
I didn't see I carried the one and I bought
you too. So anyways, Yeah, Instagram is helpful when you
start talking about it around your phone, which is also frightening. Well, hello,
I mean what don't what our phones hear everything. That's

(05:43):
a that's a larger conversation like it is, but it's
not going away because then there's people like like I
had an Alexa when I first got in this house,
and it was like, I'm gonna take that out because
I don't want them listening to me. It's this isn't
everyone so everyone's listening. Hello, it's me. How are you?
Jess Porter? Go ahead, girl, Jess Porter thirteen. What's the
go to romance novel? The Hockey Wives recommend a lot

(06:09):
of questions about the old romance novel Gotta Be Honest.
Forgot the title It's like it's almost like a Taylor
Swift song where I had to look up what it meant.
I don't even remember. But and if I did know,
I probably wouldn't say it anyways, because I wouldn't want
you to see what I was reading, you know what
I mean? Are they usually erotic title name? Though? I

(06:30):
feel like it's like no Day at the Beach, right,
It just feels like it's yeah, yeah, I was trying
to think what it is, but I keep thinking it's
like the Prophecy. But I think that's a Taylor Swift song.
So it's not that I don't know. I saw my
kindle laying in my little travel bag that we took
that I still have an unpacked Have you unpacked? No?
And usually I'm pretty good about that. You know what

(06:51):
I did do though, I just wheeled my suitcase straight
into the laundry room, like instead of going up the
stairs with it just strade. But it's not unzipped. I'm
really behind on a lot of things today. There's been
a lot of turn of events. I had what have
you done today? Well, I just had a plan on
like today was I going to be a day that
I could relax and get stuff done. Now you know
you open up your inbox because I just have haven't

(07:11):
looked at anything in life because I haven't wanted to.
And now I'm like, darn it, which get We'll get you.
On the Big Show, I had to get an insta
cart delivery and I am shamed by my instacart delivery. Okay,
it's not his fault, it's my fault. I just there
was a face put together with the shopping list, and
now I'm mortified. I'm always like going to ask them
to get me tampons. I don't want them to see

(07:33):
whose face it is that answers the door because I
don't use my name on my Instacart. Oh, I mean
I don't know how to not use what do you use?
You just use like, oh, don't alias whoa because when
I'm getting the super plus, I don't need them to
know it's for me. Well what I mean? I never
But okay, here's the tease for the big show. You
don't want to see my instacart list and then put

(07:54):
my face to it. So there's that. But yeah, no,
the day has gotten away from me. So but normally
I would unpack and you use a kindle. Huh, Yeah,
because I didn't want anyone to see the book I
was reading. Wow, where we go, folks. I can't get
into the kindle thing because then I'm looking for the charger. Yeah,
I have the charger and it's a different charger and

(08:16):
it's annoying. Jeff and Besos. Can we fix that? Jeff?
I know you're probably not busy doing anything right now.
Cass G seventeen. What to do about men who think
they know? Oh, that's the one I'm saying. I'm not listening.
It's all right. My mind's all over the place. We're
still on vacation, and we'll talk about that in the
big show as well. I'm not on the chat because,

(08:38):
like I said, I still am on vacation. I think
we're probably good. We're good. I hope you're good. I
hope you're all good everyone out there. I hope you
guys are great. I hope you're more organized than I
have today. Too many things going on in my life. Bye.
