Speaker 1 (00:00):
I got excited and I even did the salmon sperm
with the micro needling, and I didn't like it, and
I'm never going to do it again. I had a
Nichy rash on my forehead. I just got rid of it.
I'm never doing that again. Don't say salmon sperm and
rash in the same sentence without you, without stopping your thought.
Calm down with Erin and Carissa is a production of iHeartRadio.

(00:27):
We handle it honestly. She's not crying because she's she's
crying because I have jokes. And with that we welcome
you funny. Oh my god, you guys. Just for a
little back up the train here, Aaron and I and
sweet O, Kurt our producer and Ryan get on here,
and then half the stuff that we talk about to
just be in the podcast. I'm crying. Aaron's got a

(00:48):
new look. Everybody, we can't touch it, your half of it.
Stop touching your face like that. This is what happened.
These clips of ours come out and we both go
into a full spiral. When I am in a bad
ankle in Tampa and I look like I need full
facial reconstructive surgery, and then we see this line, you
know the one, and then we go like this, Oh

(01:09):
my no, anyway, I don't have tobacco in my mouth.
That's just a divot that's for me. Oh yeah, tobacco
a dip. Last week I said K nine and I
don't even know where that came from. So there's that.
That was so funny saying K nine, like, I mean,
what are we in? Am I reading mac a book
Dogs otherwise known as K Nine's Hey. I love this

(01:31):
new look though, going back to what I was originally
saying before I started peeing my pants, I'm so jealous
that you have glasses now because I miss wearing glasses.
You look fantastic. I just came from a business launch,
so my only hair do I know how to do
is slick it back. Put these on because I felt tired.

(01:52):
But speaking of business, I also to complete this look
of mel Robins slash the Housewife from New York. I
don't know what I mean is with those glasses. And
I have a new MLB T shirt. It's kind of
a knock off of our Super Bowl T shirt that
flew off the shelves. These are two, so please give

(02:12):
them a look on fanatics dot com. A little MLB love'
stay up, let me see it. Let me see it
fully because the microphone's blocking it. Let me just see
what we're working with. Here, a little Boston Red souce,
a little love it. I like the oversized sleeve situation
for those of you listening and not being able to see.
Aaron's doing a little shimmy and a shake and the
sleeves are long. I like that. Mm hmm. Here she is, Yeah,

(02:36):
it's good, great, here she is? Any who? I have
not tryfocals, But what do I what did I call these?
They're not progressive bifocals, They're progressive lenses. So I have
three lenses in one. One is straight ahead. I don't
know what the middle one is for, and down is
the reading, which I don't get because if I'm reading

(02:56):
my phone and I want to concentrate on lifting my
neck up and I have to be like, it's very bizarre.
Doesn't that make you dizzy? I was asking you that
before you got them, because if you have whenever well again,
before I got lasik surgery, I don't. I didn't have
it was just one lens. Like to be able to
look through three different does that feel like it's like
a lot of work. I don't know. My dad was saying,

(03:18):
you need like a couple of weeks to get used
to it. Poor dad. He was talking about how when
he got these, he missed his step because he was
so messed up with the different lenses. I haven't figured
out the reading part yet because I do want my
chin to be up and I've got stuff down here
because if I bring it up here, it's blurry. It's
a whole situation. I just saw somebody wrote in our

(03:39):
chat what did they say? Studio chat? Oh there we go,
thanks Ryan. That's our rundown. Okay, now that we have
that in line, I'm not putting any makeup on today
because I just got a facial and I am trying
to keep would you get done just the normal hydrofacial extractions?
My sweet Galdana, who I absolutely love. She's my second

(04:03):
longest relationship, but she is somebody that I just like,
I love. There's not a ton of stuff that I
do consistently, which as I get older, I feel like
I should be doing more of. No, you're really good
about that, but facials is something that I'm really consistent about,
and I just feel and nails and getting my nails done,
which reminds me I need to make appointment. Yeah, although

(04:24):
in the off season, when it's when we're not on TV,
I don't go as much because it's at some point
it's so expensive too, and now we're sitting there for hours.
But I do feel better when I get my nails
done and my face cleaned out. I'm telling you when
in my next life, I should be an esthetician because
when she's like, ooh, I got a good one, I'm like,
I want to have like a go pro on my

(04:46):
head so I can see the extractions. And I know
that seems gross if you're not right now, I want
to see them doing. It's satisfying when we do it.
But I really can only imagine what she's saying. You
can also imagine what like think about dentists and estheticians
the shit that they see. But anyways, hey, I've got
so many things i'm writing down. You're bringing up so

(05:08):
many conversations. So at a facial how often do you
go and what do you normally get done? Because this
led me into another conversation. It depends I try to
go at least twice a month, and that could either
be like every other week or it could be every week,
depending But I just got back from the ranch, and
I always feel like I need to like get the
dirt out situation. But so yeah, at least twice a

(05:29):
month on that, and then I just always get extractions,
always get a little you know, hydrofacial situation. And then
sometimes because you know, I love an upsell, I am
like the queen of She's like, hey, we got this
new thing. I'm like, yep, I don't even need to
know about it, just at it. Done it to the
cart check out. Ye. Now, she was so great. I oh,
go ahead, Oh she was just she was just talking

(05:51):
like I need high frequency. So remember when I had
like a mini Bells Paulsy situation because I hated my
life and I was so stressed out. You guys, let
the past that. We are so past that. But it
is really something that I think about, and you and
I talk about this a lot. Stress. I don't need
to say it enough, or I guess I can't say
it enough. Easy for me to, I can't even say

(06:12):
anything at this point. But stress is the killer of
all things, you guys. And it's like, so when I
my face got like totally disformed my muscles and all
that stuff. So Ever, since then, I just feel think
about how many muscles we have in our face, and
so I feel like I constantly need to stimulate them.
I've got that little like thoroughgum thing. You use that
one too, yeah, lift like you got that for me.

(06:34):
But I just think that, like I don't know, maintenance
is really important at this age. I mean, we're in
our forties and I'm now I just you know what
I'm not good at, and I've got to be better.
And I'm totally resistant to it because everyone carries those
goddamn water bottles around. But I think I got to start,
at least even at home, just filling up the water
bottle because I don't drink enough water. But there's something

(06:58):
that's really like on my mind lately, the sucking and
our pot our tobacco pockets here, you know what I mean, pockets?
You know. So I've tried to be like in I
don't care New York Times or New York Times because
I think I'm cool. No, New York Times is not right.
She got glasses and she went for your post of
the Times, folks. But I think I have to be

(07:21):
a less severe sucker. Okay, I was wondering where that
was going, you know. You know, I don't know. Now
I think I'm about taking the straw out and just sipping. See,
this is where you can't win, folks, because we're going
to drink water. But now we've got the thing where
you get and what she's talking about is that little

(07:42):
those little lines you get around your lips that they
used to say if you were a smoker. But oh yeah,
there's so many things here. It leads us to this
social media or all the wealth of information that's out
there with all of these things. Right, Like I think
about my parents or my mom, my mom specific like
they didn't do all of this shit. They didn't worry

(08:02):
about all this stuff, and like they look great. Are
we just overthinking it? I don't know. I don't know,
I don't know. Well, let's be candid. We're also in
an industry where we have to take care of ourselves.
We have a lot of wear and tear for six
months out of the year. Where I think about it,
like we are on the road, we are in different climates,
we're doing we're tired, we're drinking, we're all the things.

(08:24):
So I love that you got a facial I got
a book one. I want to bring up the point
I did micro needling. I did it before I saw
you a couple of weeks ago. I'm not a fan, okay,
tell me about it. Giving me a freaking itchy rash,
and I think it really wasn't great for my skin.
I don't want you to do that. I got excited

(08:45):
and I even did the salmon sperm with the micro needling,
and I didn't like it, and I'm never going to
do it again. I had an itchy rash on my forehead.
I just got rid of it. I'm never doing salmon
sperm and rash in the same sentence with us with
stopping your thought. Wait, cool point, I leave you for
one week. I have one one week off from you,

(09:05):
and we are getting micro needling. And no. I got
that a couple of weeks ago. I got really excited
and I wanted a fresh space and it didn't work.
I need to stop touching my face. Wait, so tell
me what that was like and why don't you like it?
Because I feel like I hear a lot about this
and that's also why I got it. They were doing
a sales job. I listened, I did it it. I'm

(09:29):
thinking it's off season. I want to try all these things.
I know that you need a little bit of downtime,
and I don't have that time during the season. So
I finally did it. I, as we have talked about
at nauseum on this podcast, I have very sensitive skin.
I can't be doing to it. But now that leads
me to another thing. I just booked myself to do
two procedures, and I want to get some feedback from

(09:50):
any of our listeners and see if they've done it.
Hold up before you move on to that, Before you
move on to that, what don't you like about the
micro needling? Just so we can see if this was
like something that I should try as and like I
should like it. Just you had a bad reaction, Like
what did you not like about it? I've heard from
a ton of people that they love it. The woman
that did it on me loves it. Dominique our friend

(10:11):
does it, she loves it. I just felt like I
didn't see any improvement. I felt like I had like
little pin marks in my forehead. I had my forehead
looked weird for a good two three weeks. I then
developed these pin marks turned into like an itchy rash.
Look at our pictures. I look fucking ridiculous. Yeah yeah,

(10:32):
interesting that I couldn't say it was great time we
were having. That's true. Okay, all right, all right, we're
moving past that. Okay, So no microm needling for you,
but the procedures you are going to think about getting,
because I also need to tell you about one that

(10:53):
I'm getting tomorrow. Go ahead. Oh my god, you're not
telling me things anymore. You aren't telling me get things anymore.
I didn't know what I was waiting until you left
the ranch. You're having this affair with the ranch. I
don't need to talk to you. It's like when I
get you on the phone, I'm like, go to a
spot you can hear me. I have thirty things to
tell you in less than twenty minutes, because I know
you have to feed the cows and I'm very busy. Exactly, Okay,

(11:17):
go what are you getting done? And I'll tell you.
You tell me yours, I'll tell you man. And I'm
interested to hear from our people if they've had it,
the downtime, all of it, because I do have a
sensitive face and it takes me a little while to
get back up. I got a lot of pigmentation. I'm
pointing at it right now for anyone watching. I got
a lot of pigmentation. A doctor that I went to

(11:39):
to go see it said this. I was like, it's
because of the sidelines, and he goes, well, I'm also
going to tell you what it's from driving driving you
get blasted. He goes, you got your windows to screen, Yeah,
but you still get blasted. Anyways, I got a good
amount and I even got tested if it was malasma.
It's not. So I have some pigmentation I would like

(12:01):
to get rid of, which doesn't make sense because next
season I'm going to be getting knocked out by the sun. Anyways,
so I have signed myself up to try the Halo
and BBL laser. This is supposed to really really help
with my pigmentation. Yeah, they say skin tightening, all that
kind of stuff. But I've watched a lot of videos

(12:23):
of people who have gotten it done it like brings
it to the surface. I've had frock sool before, but
it didn't get it off. It looks like some people
like really get blasted and are not well, and then
some people take it like a champ and they're ready
to party after four days. So I'm really interested about
this one. Okay. When you said BBL, I was like
the Brazilian buttlt No, no, I'm not getting a Brazilian

(12:47):
butt lift. For some reason, it's called BBL. Halo what
I'm not doing anything to my ass? Okay stuff. So okay,
so I'm looking forward to what are you doing that procedure? Well,
you don't have to tell me. I got a look. Okay,
now I think it's right before our birthday. Okay, happy

(13:10):
birthday to us. Sure, that's to do it. And then
I like screw up my face and then I'm like,
why did I do this? So if anyone out there
has done it, please let us know. This is the
deal with all of this stuff. So I have went
on record on this podcast I wanted to get my
boobs done. I never ended up doing that. I mentioned
I want to get my I want to get like

(13:31):
a little lower lift thing. Since we keep touching it.
I had I had it scheduled. I had fully scheduled.
It's turning red. I had it scheduled and then couldn't
do it because we ended up having to do something
for work. So this thing just keeps getting prolonged, which
is fine. Look I'm let's all then retract this statement
and be like, you know, beauty starts from within, sure,

(13:54):
but I also like to fucking look great on the
outside too. Okay, so we've worked on the inside, work
on the outside, like the glow is happening, Okay, got it.
But I I just feel like it's one of those
things that I get nervous because I did have shitty
filler and I did have bad stuff happened right sometimes,
like totally. I We've worked hard to sort of scale

(14:15):
back some of that, so we don't want to get
too goofy with all this. What I do want to do, though,
is I want. I was I was told from a
professional to do that Morpheus situation, where like it's basically
like a four day peal. I know you're shaking your head,
think that you're doing tomorrow. No, no, no, no, I wish,
but I haven't. I haven't consulted with my doctor, Miss

(14:37):
Aaron Andrews, who wears glasses now obviously is my doctor.
Consult with your physician and see if sky Rizzy is
right for you. So I have not booked that appointment,
but I do I've been told that's also another option.
So anybody out there that's listening, please let us know
if Morpheus is the right thing. I'm okay, I got

(14:58):
four days more. I want tightening, and until I can
get a little lower tightening, I want lower facelift. Facelift,
so another thing. I want this tighter this because I
this is the other thing all the time. I know
all therapy. Ul therapy was another one. I'm looking at.

(15:21):
It kind of is a tightener with no downtime. It's
I don't buy it if there's no downtime. I don't
think it's from it because these are taking at videos.
I know, but you also looked at videos of micro
needling and have that turn out for you. I need pain,
I need downtime, and I need to know that like
I don't want to be like, oh, it's under the surface. No, man,

(15:41):
you better get that ship on the surface and let
me see that under the sea so that I don't
know pay tomorrow. This is going to be a real
point of contention for you because we know the eyebrow
drama with you. So I die my eyebrows, like when
I go to my new Linn. Yeah, Lynn does she

(16:02):
puts like eyebrow. I didn't know that. Yeah, so I
don't have to fill them in. So are you getting hair?
Good on there? No, No, I'm not hair. I'm getting
I'm getting Uh, what's not micro blade? I guess it's
micro blading, but it's supposed to be a natural microblading,
because you know the ones that like look like they've
just been like fully drawn in. I don't need I

(16:24):
don't need paint missionary. Yeah, I don't need jewel. You're
a jewel. I want to Yeah, I'm doing that tomorrow
because I told you I did the lip tint, which
is my favorite thing I've ever done, because then I
don't I always have imitation and look feel great. Well,
I have chapstick on, but uh, this is my lip color.
You're touching, right, But I don't want to have I

(16:46):
don't want to be the chick that's like we tattooed
the lips, we tattoo the eyebrows. But I just my
point in all of this is I want to waste
it called micro blading, but it's not what you think.
It's like the natural stuff. Great. Anyways, I'm doing that
to meet on a facelift, and you didn't tell me. No,
you would be driving me to the facelift if I need.

(17:07):
If I was being getting that next year, next off season.
Because we don't have the Super Bowl, you're asked better
belief that last last playoff game. I'm i as well
just go right from the stadium to the hospital because
I am going IFC Championship see later. Hi, good look
on your facelift, I do. I'm gonna look at King
is good and I have no problem saying it. Guys,
we have you know, I don't care. I don't care.

(17:30):
I want to look great and there's a balance to
all of it. Okay, I relax. So that's what we're
up to, is this podcast over. I just want to
get some insight before I jump into the deep end.
I'm on the deep end. Hold my hand. God, she
was so great in that Super Bowl opening of ours.
That's still what am I going to bed. She was.

(17:53):
I can still watch it and cry, just coming out
and looking like a little angel and her white gown
and sitting down at the rano. That's another thing too,
as I have a piano right behind me. I need
to If anyone knows, I need to get that piano
tuned up. Half the keys don't work anymore. Wait for
this one, because when I used to live in Malibu,
I'd leave the doors open and all the saltwater eroded

(18:16):
the strings on your Yes. Yeah, I've been told that
my two hundred and fifty dollars Craigslist purchase from the
foreign exchange student in Germany, it costs ten times to
move the thing. I got this piano off Craigslist for
two hundred fifty bucks. Then I had to move it.
But now the piano's broken because I didn't close the door.
Because when I was so rich and I lived in Malavu,

(18:37):
the saltwater fox things up. AnyWho, I'd like to start
taking piano lessons again. You should, I would love that.
I would love that. Hey, speaking of Malibu, go, Speaking
of Malibu. Speaking of Malibu, it's the same as a beach.

(18:58):
I was like on a flight to Charlotte this week
and weekend. That's a long flight. We'll talk about why
I was there in just a moment. But I was
going through my credit card statement because I was looking
up something. Speaking of Malibu, let's pivot to Palm Beach.
I have a reoccurring monthly palm beach tan fee for

(19:23):
fifty five dollars every month that I've had for probably
twenty years. Yeah, on my amex Yep, not good good.
I got pigmentation probably because of it. I got a
reoccurring palm beach Yeah, tan, can we when you used
to go to the tanning salon? Is that what it is? Yeah?
You had twenty years limited. I used to work in

(19:44):
a tanning salon, So I mean you should come to
a rubtan Whydias cheaper halo BBL. But isn't that isn't
that crazy? I know, I'm get I've gotten so much
better at looking at my amix. Oh, I'm going to
tell I'm gonna tell you what. It's always popping up there,
all these goddamn streaming services I'm paying for. This is
nine ninety nine, this is thirteen ninety nine, this is well.

(20:07):
And then all of a sudden, I'm like, do I
have all these or am I just like being hacked?
And I don't realize it because a little charge here,
thirteen dollars Da da da da, But then they all
add up. I swear to god, I need to get that.
Maybe they want to sponsor the podcast what's that rocket?
There's an app. Yes, I saw it and I thought
of it, and it tells you, like, hey, you're getting charged.

(20:29):
Think about all the money we should do that we
should add it. So off season things we have to do.
Clean out our ears, get a third ear piercing, clear
up our credit card, reoccurring services, or whatever it is.
You check your text and then the other thing we're
going to get. Aaron brought it up, which is also
one of the reason I was crying when we came
on here. Aaron, so, so we have a new favorite

(20:53):
phrase story to be told in another date and time
where we were we were doing something and we both
just looked at each other and we said what what?
And so now our favorite phrase is what? And said
a mirror of different ways because you could be like what.
So Aaron said, if we ever get a tattoo, we

(21:13):
should get the word what. And I started laughing because
I'm thinking to myself, you have one tattoo that just
says this, and your other tattoo is going to be what.
You only get four letter tattoos. It's actually a great
story story. Okay, do you want to go get tattoos?
After I tattoo my eyebrows on my lips. Then we'll
just pop on over to the old Venice and then

(21:35):
I want to get another hole in my ear. I
want a hole in my head after this conversation, if
anyone's caring, and then we could go to Palm Beach
Tan and get it to Hey, Ryan, is it possible?
While we talk about the next topic, can you see
how much money I've wasted? So it's fifty five dollars
for the last twenty years, thanks, Oh my god. Every month.
I don't even want to know what I could have bought.

(21:57):
A jet. I don't know, A fifty five bus a month.
He's going to do it. But it's true. That's true. Hey,
So I went to Charlotte to go mce a gala
for the Lavine Children's Hospital in Charlotte. And a lot
of times when we get asked to do things like that,

(22:17):
we know it means a lot, and we know that
it is going towards a great cause and the work
that they do. But I think, until you have to
go and sit and you listen to the stories and
you watch one of your close friends, Greg Olson, stand
up on stage, I'm only telling this story because I
want to brag about our friend really quick, and our coworker,
Greg Olson. We've had him on the show. We've talked

(22:41):
about his family, We've talked about his son, TJ, who
had a heart transplant in twenty twenty one. Greg documented
it on his ig. He is instrumental in the Levine
Children's Hospital Heart Foundation, in the work that he does there.
And I always knew he did a lot of work
for or for I think it's what is it called

(23:02):
the longest yard, half a heart. Sorry Greg, I'm butchering this.
I know Ryan will figure it out. But he has
raised a ton of money for that children's hospital where
TJ got his heart transplant. I am so proud of
our friend. You know. I guess I should have realized
all the work that he did. But he stood up
on his stage in front of six hundred people and

(23:23):
he talked about quote unquote this shit matters, meaning donating
to hospitals, meaning giving back, and he was just talking
about how, you know, my son was able to have
this heart transplant, he was able to receive this care
because years ago somebody thought to donate, give money, give
the time, and the hardest yard that is the Olsen
Family Foundation, and he was just so good and he

(23:46):
stood up there and I don't know why I'm shocked
because he does it for a living and talking on television.
He was so eloquent, he was so personable. It was
so touching. I cried the whole time I was up there.
And I just love Kara and Goals and so much,
and I love that family and I'm so proud of
the work they do. I'm proud I got to be
involved in it, and I really want to start giving
back more. Yeah. No, you and I were to make

(24:09):
you feel like shit, I need to do more. Yep,
you and I were talking about it. I was very
proud of you for obviously, you know, when Greg calls
you and asks you to do that, you don't even
think twice about it. And I know how much he
means to you and his family means to you, and
I adore that man in care. But you do you
sit there And this happened when my sister's on the
board for Make a Wish because of my niece, she

(24:30):
was a recipient for it. So it's that whole idea
of paying it forward, and that's exactly what my sister
got involved because as a parent, I'm sure Greg can
and Krea can empathize with this. When you sit in
the audience and your kid is a recipient of something
like make a Wish or the donation that helps you know,
prolong your child's life, You're like, I have to give back,
I have to do more, and that is what you

(24:51):
did though. You showing up and doing that is giving
back and those auction items or anything like that. So yeah,
I love that you were a part of that. And
for anybody that wants more information, I'm not sure if
he has a website, but it's called the Hardest Yard. Okay,
good to know, and maybe we could put up something
with baby people want to get involved, would be great
because yeah, I always say that community service or donations

(25:15):
or things like that, whether it's donations of time or money,
is our rent on earth. Is that we all have
an obligation to give back because especially in our you know,
our life. I feel like we've both been very, very
lucky and blessed in a lot of ways, and so
it's like giving back makes a big difference. And I
know we'd laugh and joke and all this kind of
stuff because that's what life is. Also about but at

(25:36):
the core, when the people that are closest to you
in your circle need you, you show up, and that
says a lot about who you are. So I love that.
We love you also, right, yeah, we do. We love
you a lot. What else we have to talk about?

(26:00):
Aaron gives me a hard time when I go to
the ranch just because we aren't in constant communication one
of us there, which is part of the reason. Not
because she's about one of She's one of three people
that I enjoy talking to on a daily basis, but
outside of the infrequency in communication, I just love that
place for so many reasons because it gets me back

(26:21):
to simple shit. It gets me back to like I
don't know if this is like a thing, but like
working with my hands, like I was, like, you know,
planting flowers, or like feeding the animals, or like that's
the kind of stuff that I didn't even realize how
much I needed it until now I have it. And
when I'm in the Los Angeles area and I'm in
traffic and i feel myself like getting like my shoulders

(26:44):
are rising and the stress is rising, I'm like, get
me out of here, get me into the middle of nowhere.
With the simple shit, and like the joy that I
get from the morning, like when all the dogs like
meet me at the minute I open the front door,
they all come running and I just I don't know,
I just love it there so much. It is my again,
my like gift back to these animals. Since I don't

(27:06):
have children, it's my maternal instinct that I get that
I've been trying, with the help of Tony who helps
me at the ranch, that all of these animals while
they're there and yes, can be rescued or you know,
it's helped saved from a shelter or whatever, but also
that they have friends. So the pig was by himself forever, Larry,
so I got him two sheeps. So now he's got
friends and he's so happy. I'm not even kidding. Laryer's

(27:27):
like a different bounce in his little step. He's like,
because think about it, if you're just sitting by yourself
all day, like that's lonely, even if you're a pig.
You know, we all know the movie Charlotte's Web, And like,
I believe that animals can talk to each other and
like have big feelings, and like when his little tail
like curls up and I pet is like back, he
like wags it like I don't know. So anyways, I

(27:47):
say all this to say that it's my job at
the ranch to make sure that all these animals have
friends and feel loved and feel happy. So when I inherited, well,
not inherent I wish I inherited the ranch. When I
bought the ranch, the it came with one and the
ducks just lived amongst the chickens, and it thought it
was like a chicken. And I was like, I should
get another duck for this guy. So got another duck

(28:09):
from these two follow each other around. Everybody buy a dock,
Like where are you doing this? It's a great question.
So luckily, like because I have really like grown like
a great community out there. There's this man Tim who
Tony told me about, and he had a bunch of
ducks and she's like, Tim, will give you one, And
so now I have two ducks thanks to Tim, and

(28:30):
they just follow each other around. And also too like
if anyone knows that like a rescue place for ducks, like,
I'll take more. I'll take whatever. So anyways, it's just
funny to me that it's like something as simple as
giving this other duck a new friend. They look so happy,
and I just it warms my heart. So yeah, so
I'm gonna get two other ones, and I'm going to
name one of a mac Mac see you, Yeah, I mean, look, yeah,

(28:56):
I'm open to other animals too. I'm in the process
of thinking, like, do I need to get a peacock
because of a lama? Like, I'm open to all animals.
I just have to My only thing that I had
to be mindful of is a the people that take
care of these animals when I'm not there, that I
don't overload them because it's not fair. And then the
other thing is too, Like I wanted to save these
buffalo and I realized that buffalo will like tear down

(29:18):
all the fences I have, and so it's like I
can't do that. So I just I'm learning as I go.
But anyways, I want to save all the animals and
it brings me so much joy. So any suggestions on
new animals or whether or not I should get Morpheus.
This is the dichotomy of my life, whether I'm getting
plastic surgery or what animals I should get at the ranch,
Like that's the world that you give to the hardest
year exactly. Oh my god. We are One thing I'm

(29:42):
excited about, well two things was I started a show
when the world was starting it. So I feel like
I'm hip and cool because during football I can't. I
texted you and our other girlfriend about it, and you
started it. We don't know if she has. You were
in the we're watching out a less since on Netflix
not an ad. You are shocked eying am watching this?

(30:05):
So on our detection, Aaron's like his Aaron knows my
affinity for Dateline and are their friend as well. So
she's like, you, guys, this is a Dateline esque show.
So we're like great. Sure. So I was up at
the branch and so at night it's like great, I
love getting a new show to watch. So I'm sitting
there and I was by myself actually because Steve was gone,

(30:26):
and so I was like, am I going to be
scared by myself? If you're watching this, and it was,
I can see why you are more invested because you
have a child. And so this premise of this show
is for those of you that haven't watched this or
don't even think about it. It opens up the opening
scene is cops break into this how you know, knock

(30:48):
down the door of this house, and they arrest this
thirteen year old boy on you know, a suspicion of murder,
and so it's you know, all things that ensue after that.
But I was, I meant, I'm to the third episode
and I was just like, I'm shocked that Aaron is
into this show because it feels like it needs to
like move faster. But you pick it up. Yeah, I'm

(31:10):
just I'm not getting as I'm not getting as much
out of it, I think as you are. What do
you like about it? I don't know, Okay, like it's
like some uplifting show, but no, it's definitely heavy. Well,
like I texted you, guys, I feel like it does
make me very worried about raising my kid. It's like
these parents in the show act they seem like they

(31:32):
had no clue what the episode I'm in that any
of this was going on. There's also a whole element
of social media on it and bullying and how boys
are against girls, girls against boys, which leads me to
another topic we're talking about with our friend is that
we're kind of taking a minute from IG. You guys
have been more than me. But I've really appreciated it

(31:53):
because I felt like the last couple of like days,
I've been sending you guys stuff and I'm like, this
annoys me. This annoys me, and it shouldn't. This is
so stupid that it does. But they really talk about
that in the show. It's like affected these kids in
these schools. Multiple times in their school they're saying, get
off the phone, get off, put your phones away. It's

(32:14):
really scary shit. I just can't know. I've talked about
this before, but one of the reasons I was like,
I don't want to have kids because it's like raising
kids in this generation with social media and all that stuff.
And then my dad was like, of course it was
hard in the ice age to raise kids too. You know,
every good generation has a different scenario that they're dealing with.
But I will say this, that social media vortex, it

(32:37):
is hard to navigate as a forty year old. I've
taken breaks where like I won't look like I'll look
like once a day or whatever. I made the concerted
effort which I've done for I'll take the app, I'll
move it on to the last page of my phone,
where like you actually have to scroll, like you have
to scroll to the very end to like get to
the app. Yeah, and I find I just was like

(32:59):
it was more out of habit. I would just like
click on it and then I'm like, that's throw down habit. Yeah,
habit to turn habin. It's not even like I'm getting
my NFL news from it, because like I hang out
on Twitter, but that's like, why is that my first
freaking thing before I'll even open up a text message thing,
Like I'll have an email. I have four thousand, two

(33:21):
hundred and seventy four emails and eighty eight text messages,
but don't have any unread uh well actually not the
dms whatever, but you know what I mean. Like I
it was more of like a habit, and I was like,
this is crazy. I am finding myself on here. I'm
getting frustrated, I'm getting annoyed, I'm judging, and it's like
the emotion that I had of being on it is
like all negative and I was like, this is gross.

(33:41):
I don't like myself for this. Now I will say this.
I will go on it for like the ranch stuff,
Like I like learning new little tips and tricks from
the ranch accounts. That I follow or like for us
for like the podcast stuff like that's good. I just
think like moderation from me is good on that because
because I didn't like the feeling that I had by

(34:03):
just instantaneously going to that from the second I wake
up in the morning, and it like set me off
in a bad mood. I'm like, I'm not even out
of bed yet and I'm already in a bad mood,
or being like why are we doing another photo shoot? Why?
You know? It's like, okay, well, you know what, maybe
that person likes photo shoots, so go for it in
a restroom. That's just like or I just find what's
going on. I can't. I'm like holding my breath. I'm

(34:24):
like having to change my clothes. You Kevin and myself
talk about how disgusting public restrooms are. Why is there
a full fucking centerfold happening in a restroom? I don't
know where it's. Then I was like, Okay, well this
is maybe that's what makes people happy, So I yeah,
taking a break from it. But but I'm in saying that, yeah, exactly,
let them. There's positives and negatives to any of that shit,

(34:49):
you know what I mean, Like there's just I think
it's important to find the scale, like balance your own life,
like what are you putting too much energy and time
towards and kind of bringing it back to the middle
is what my whole point in doing the break from
it is. But yeah, so exercise, yes, exercise. It's interesting.

(35:09):
Ran just told you that you spent thirteen two hundred
dollars on Palm Beach hands. Not enough for a jet, sorry,
not enough for a jet. That's not even a one
way somewhere. You know, it's not great about right now?
It's not Ryan doing that math is I'm going to
wake up with chest pains at about three am thinking
about that money. That's okay, yeah, but you know what,

(35:31):
let's pay exercise. Let's spend this tea and look at
your credit card bill. There's that, and think about had
you not looked at it, how much more money you
would be spending if you weren't paying attention. So yeah, hey,
think about you know how the phone does the screen
time thing? Think about how much time? Yeah again, we'll
add this to our off season to do list. How
much time we could be allocating every time you wanted

(35:54):
to go click on Instagram if you then take that
time and do something else. I wonder if you could
quantify that. It seems like a lot of work, but
you know what I mean. AnyWho, I just went to
see if Palm Beach Tan was still in existence or
if they are just taking my money, They're still existence.
Forget doge. This girl over here is doing a clean up,
you know, on Aisle two, three and four with those

(36:14):
land great in those glasses. I'm so into glass. I'm
so jealous that you have glasses because then on that
people like, oh, do you really wear glasses? And for
thirty eight years of my life I got to be like, yeah,
I do. These are real glasses, but now when I
wear them, they have to be fake glasses. And then
just especially on TV, I'm going to tell you right now,
be prepared for how many compliments you're going to get

(36:36):
when you wear glasses. It's like a whole thing is
jared into them because it's like a different like not
oh no, Mark, I get I put him on. So
I made him come with me when I got these,
because I was like, I want you to come. If
you had been around, you're probably ranching. No, I'm ranch

(37:00):
I'm like fighting over a ranch. What ranch? So he
came ranch on the sand. That guy put on every
pair of glasses and looked amazing. This was the only
pair that we found that looked all right. So yeah, no,
I've gotten a few times, okay, bit, yeah, yeah you can,
you can call him off. Hey, I can't help it

(37:21):
like this all the time. I think they look fantastic
on you. Yeah, but that just goes back to that
whole thing of like guys get better looking as they
get older, or like it's more distinguished, like you know,
they're Yeah, they're they're not worried about fine lines and wrinkles. Anyways,
we aren't going to be either after Morpheus. I'm going
to tell you that much right now. Calm Down with
