Speaker 4 (02:14):
Thank you very much.
Speaker 5 (02:15):
Though Rudy is.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
So dope to see you and your son doing a
business like this. There's nothing like family. And you know, Rudy,
you go back. You're an og in this whole game
of just life and entertainment and everything else. And how
did you guys come up with this Stone Zone Delivery.
Speaker 6 (02:35):
Well, it all started back a long time before Josh
really was in the game. He knew I was in
the game in the black Market area for a long time.
He really didn't approve it. He was, you know, in
elementary school and right getting into junior high.
Speaker 5 (02:48):
He really was kind of opposed to.
Speaker 6 (02:49):
Me even being involved and smoky. But then one day
I decided to, you know, let him see one of
the rooms that I had growing in that black market
phase and he saw it and he was amazed. Just
at that same time, he got hurt in high school
playing football and wrestling and he had to deal with
some severe pain. And then from then, I'm gonna pass
(03:11):
it to you, Josh, because Stone's one is here because of.
Speaker 5 (03:14):
What he did after seeing that room or what happened
Josh next.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Yeah, I mean I got hurt in sports. I played
sports my entire life. I wrestled and played football, and
I got hurt in high school and you know, I
wasn't able to continue. I started experiencing extreme back pain,
and you know, cannabis was something that extremely helped me.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
You know, were you against it at first?
Speaker 4 (03:36):
I was? I was, you know, I thought it was
kind of bad juju. And to be honest, at the time,
I really wanted to pursue sports, you know, and see
how far that could get me, and you know, I
really wanted to stay focused on that. But when that
door closed, you know, another one opened, and you know,
it really helped my health. It helped me feel better,
not only physically but mentally, you know. And I started
(03:57):
getting into music after that, and now I do that
as well. So it's just been a blessing, you know,
seeing you know, something that started off that I viewed
negatively transform and turn into something great.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
No know what where does his father and son, you know,
start from? I mean, where are you guys originally from?
Speaker 7 (04:13):
Are you guys? La boys? You know? Tell us about that, guys.
Speaker 6 (04:16):
Well, ours is a kind of a unique situation. I'm
from the San Fernando Valley. I was born in the
Philippine Islands. When my dad was in the Air Force,
came here set on the West coast. When I had Josh,
his mother lived nearby in the Sun Valley area of
the San Fernando Valley. Then when we slept when they
when we when we separated, Uh, she took Josh into
(04:39):
the Orange County area about about five years old, six
years old, So we were co parenting back and forth.
So he's always spend his time, most of the time
in school and getting all that structure from his mom
in Orange County. And then I was the dad that
kind of gave him that break.
Speaker 5 (04:54):
Yeah, and then that break obviously.
Speaker 6 (04:56):
Turned into hey, you know, if you want to try
this to help your pain, I think this would be
good time to do. At least I'm in front of
you yeah, and then it came from there. But a
couple of years going through his therapy, next thing, you know,
he comes up with an idea.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
Yeah, you know, it became something that you know, I
was an advocate myself on and you know, I became
extremely passionate about and you know, I thought, I'm smoking
way too much weed here. I got to turn this
into a business, you know, I gotta I gotta start
making money on this side, you know. So you know,
that's how really things started. And to be honest, I
was in the delivery game. Before the delivery game. I
(05:30):
actually worked at Domino's Pizza. It was one of my
first jobs.
Speaker 8 (05:34):
I love that lead in by the way.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
That was so good.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
That's great, you know, and and it's true. And I
worked there for two and a half years, and you know,
I saved up, you know, my first chunk of change
for those two years, and I invested into the delivery
and you know, at the time, you know, the traditional
markets as we call it, you know, we got on
weed maps. We started and I got lawyered up with
the pop brothers at law and that's how I got
(05:58):
introduced to Blue and my dad actually knew some of
the same people that Blue did. And it's a very
small world, so you know, it's it's very cool.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
Well, yeah, your dad's been around for a long time.
I mean I feel like I go back to my
Power six days.
Speaker 5 (06:13):
Yeah, absolutely, Like I don't know how I remember radio.
Speaker 6 (06:18):
I was with the Militia would Burn to the Sunburn's
Rise and they broke that power one six broke that
and it was.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
Yeah, that's so funny because when I see you, like
in my mind, I go back with you like decades.
Speaker 6 (06:31):
And I had a company called NFL Chill Partners with
Ronnie Pete and a couple of other NFL players where
we had a license and through that circle of friends
in both sports, pro sports, music and cannabis, this is
why we're here.
Speaker 5 (06:44):
And Josh took the Josh actually took the.
Speaker 6 (06:46):
Concept of being a just delivery and he said, you
know what, I'm gonna listen to some wisdom. And this
wisdom was passed along through none other than Blue, and
he says, I think you guys got a bigger concept
than just a delivery, and he sat the idea down
to Josh, and Josh is implemented and we're here to
represent a lifestyle.
Speaker 7 (07:06):
That's it.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
That'sff.
Speaker 7 (07:07):
I'll say, this is a lifestyle.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
This is a brand, you guys, and and you know,
I'm so excited to see just kind of like what
you guys have developed this into. You know, you're starting
to realize that you know, you're clothing apparel. You know,
it's it's a it's an actual product line. Uh, it's delivery,
it's it's everything right, and it cumbers and and and
(07:29):
where did you guys? I mean obviously, I know I
recognize that the yield sign if you will, but it's
got your own flair to it. What what does it
mean to you? To you guys?
Speaker 4 (07:38):
For us, I mean, you know, we're trying to get
every zone stone, you know, so we want to try
and cover as much of the California market at least
at the beginning, you know, and as we can expand.
But you know, we just want to be that go
to delivery service that people can rely on to get
their good product, you know, to medicate, you know. So
we want to be reliable, We're timely, we get there.
(08:00):
You can always rely on that. We got quality product
that you can you know, is lab tested and you
know it's uh we we pride ourselves on bringing quality
stuff to our customers.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
And how did you come up with the name? Because
I find it to be so catchy. So now they
yield sign it with the stone zone. It's so catchy.
It's like, you know that that was a great analogy
to use blue as far as yield sign because that's
exactly what it is, right, and it's yellow with the black.
It feels like you got to stop.
Speaker 6 (08:29):
Yeah, what I People see that sign and they're gonna
look at it because what do you have a yellow
sign there for? So it's something that somebody already subliminately
sees the shape and everything, but when you see stones
on it's like what, oh, what.
Speaker 5 (08:42):
The hell is that?
Speaker 6 (08:43):
Okay, So that's where that whole lifestyle it's like whatever
zone you're living in, we want to enhance it through
our products, through our brand partnerships. But the thing that
will make us unique is the thing that's gonna let
everybody know that we're real and.
Speaker 5 (08:59):
We want to stay for the long haul.
Speaker 6 (09:01):
We want to establish that give back program from the beginning.
Then let's say sometime in the future on our weed maps,
you'll see a banner come up and say this eighth
or this pre role. Every dime that we make with
this pre role is going to go.
Speaker 5 (09:15):
Back to a certain charity.
Speaker 6 (09:17):
So we want to be that company that says, Okay,
we can make a lot of money in this industry.
But until now, I still haven't seen that one group
that's actually saying I'm going to step up and lead
by example. And that's what we agree on. It gives
our company purpose and it also helps right.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
Well, that's great. What kind of who are you guys
giving back to?
Speaker 6 (09:39):
Well, that's we through Cannabis Talk and the relationships with
Cannabis Talk one on one, we want to sit down
and meet who you guys think you know, are worthy
partners to partner up with and certain things. Because we
can do it with product, we can do it with events,
but we want to always have Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
I mean we do it a lot of times you
know with just like Humanity Heroes. We go out to
you know, different events with you know, Big Mike and
Humanity Heroes, Amy and the whole team out there and
just give our time, you know, dedicate our time and
spend a day or two days out there, you know,
helping you know, the less fortunate.
Speaker 7 (10:09):
And I think that's you know, that's powerful, just to
find those little wins.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
You know a lot of a lot of people when
they do take the time to give back, you know,
you kind of get that that reward yourself from others
in the world, you know.
Speaker 6 (10:23):
Yeah, Well it all goes back to what we think
as the purpose for being in business, sure, and that
is to help others to be in service through our
success so that people can share.
Speaker 7 (10:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
Well, listen, when we come back, I want to talk
to you guys about some of the actual hard times
you guys had, because I know you guys have some
oh yeah, some you know.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
But before we do, though, I know you've got that
you have, right. Oh yeah, So we're gonna come. We're
gonna play Balin. Is that the song here?
Speaker 4 (10:51):
That's one of the tracks, Yes, sir?
Speaker 3 (10:52):
And what's balin?
Speaker 8 (10:53):
What is this?
Speaker 4 (10:54):
Just a track I came up with a few months back.
We just filmed a new music video that's going to
be releasing to that too as well.
Speaker 8 (11:00):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
Like I said, I got a bunch of new projects
on the way, but that's just one of them.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
Is this you on the track?
Speaker 4 (11:05):
Yeah? That's just me?
Speaker 3 (11:05):
All right, Well, let's go let's do it, just talk.

For a trusted cannabis seat at a fair price at
the Rocket Seeds dot Com or on Instagram at Rocket
Underscore Seeds. We got the guys here, Josh and Rudy
from so zoneby and you heard leaving the track was balling.
Then we just came back playing marijuana. That was a
catchy tune. Dude, it actually sounded like a drake one
of the songs that I've heard before. You know what
(17:46):
I'm saying, like it has a catchy tune. The production
is and that being said, the production's top notch.
Speaker 4 (17:52):
And I'm said Ricky Dean, I appreciate who produced those myself,
all the tracks to Yes myself and then one of
my partners, his name is Scotty, Scotty on the mace.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
Dude, you got some nice production there. This your this
is your first time or this is your first time
putting some ship out.
Speaker 4 (18:07):
Oh no, I mean I've been actually making music since
I was nine years old, but just been uh stacking
my tracks and really about to put some ship out
on the next level.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
So dude, no, it sounds good. And I was I
was shockingly impressed because I didn't know. I know, Rudy
used to dance in the Philippines, but you know, that's
a lot of shit happened to the Philippines he carries
his duct tape with them.
Speaker 8 (18:30):
Why but no.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
Fake news, fake news right there, And that's fact.
Speaker 7 (18:40):
Joe knows that because he knows that.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Hey, I told you, I go way back over, yeah,
before Josh was born. Wow, hey Josh, that's nice though. Man,
that's really good. I can tell you've been doing it
for a minute. You spit nice, good flows, good catchy hooks,
and marijuana.
Speaker 7 (18:59):
Why do you call it that?
Speaker 3 (18:59):
I see you're talking about it, getting it there, getting
it there, and it goes hand in hand with the brand.
Speaker 4 (19:03):
I like it. Hell yeah, man, I mean, like I said,
I love I love curs, I love I love weed
in general. It's something I love and I'm passionate about.
And you know, got to make good music and stuff
that people relate to and can people can smoke up too.
Speaker 7 (19:16):
So you did that. You did that. So check this out, man.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
I want to talk to you guys about some of
the you know, the things that you guys have had
to battle through, right because I know you know you guys.
You know it got issued a license, put a lot
of dough, a lot of time into it, and then
all of a sudden got taken away.
Speaker 7 (19:34):
So tell us about what happened.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
Man, And it has not been an easy road by
any means. You know, I pursued. I started this you know,
delivery service eight years ago and uh, you know, finally
saved up enough bread to uh go state license and
get legal. And it took me two years from start
to finish from the process. And that was out in
the city of Asparia. And three months after getting our
(19:58):
license issued to us, you know, finally able to operate
because the entire time paying monthly rent bills to you know,
you know, get the building up to code, and you know,
it's a lot of a lot of money spent that
entire time not being able to generate a penny. And finally,
after we got issued our license, three months after, the
(20:20):
city decided to revoke all eighteen licenses or no reason
other than they don't like cannabis in their city and
they think it was like almost fighting like the old
reef for madness. And we had to go to the
city council meeting and all eighteen owners and you know,
we try to give them, you know, our take, and
you know, they just blatantly told us we don't want
(20:41):
it here. It's not for our city. Without any real
backing or facts, and they said they weren't generating enough
tax revenue, just so much stuff. And we battled against
one of the guys named Bill Holland. He was one
of the city council members, and he actually had a
dispensary in this city of Crestline that got shut down.
(21:02):
And now he's a current city council member, so he
was one of the ones mainly pushing the agenda to
shut us down and.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
Shut down.
Speaker 4 (21:11):
So we're not too sure what exactly.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
Random and weird doesn't even sound like something.
Speaker 5 (21:15):
He's ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
We don't know how he was even on the city council,
you know, And who owns the properties over there that
you guys, because you guys were paying property rent taxes
all this stuff for how long, I mean.
Speaker 4 (21:26):
Over two years. Man, My entire life savings into that.
Speaker 6 (21:31):
And they didn't care. They did when we went Josh
went and talked to the city council. We were all
there at the meeting. They absolutely didn't care what you'd spent,
what kind of hardship this would put upon you.
Speaker 4 (21:42):
How many employees you have, how many lives it's affecting. Yeah,
you know, they just told us you got to close
your doors, and they're going to give us this little
window period and it was pretty much a year. And
for us, a lot of the other companies have already
been in operation. For us, we just received our license
to operate, So it's like we didn't there's no point
to start up and then get shut down in less
(22:03):
than a year.
Speaker 7 (22:04):
Well did anybody else shut down?
Speaker 4 (22:06):
A lot of the people still continue and are still continuing, Yeah,
through the period, through the grace period.
Speaker 7 (22:12):
Yeah, right, and then what they're gonna do. They're gonna
shut you down.
Speaker 4 (22:14):
But there were a few brands that said they're they're
they're out, So there.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
Were of course, I mean, you know, they won't cross
that line either. I mean because there there's a you know,
there's a thin line. Right, you start opening your doors
and then next thing you know, they're they're raiding you,
they're shutting you down. Then you're opening your doors, and
then there's you know, and I went through that period
where you know, we had the uh the time where
it was you had people getting arrested or you had
people that were actually still very much so on you
(22:43):
know the side, Hey, I will not operate unless I'm
doing this you know, and so there there's a there's
a there's a fine line to figure that part out.
But so you guys decided not to even open. And
now you guys are down what a quarter million dollars?
Speaker 4 (22:54):
Oh yeah, but thank god. You know, God works in
mysterious ways. And when one door clicks, you know, another
one opens. And you know, I met someone you know
who wants to remain anonymous, but partners with and you know,
we were doing great things together. You know, we've been
able to partner on our delivery and we're vertically integrated.
So not only do we have our delivery license, but
(23:16):
we have manufacturing, distribution, transportation, and we have a cannabis
events license as well.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
Nice you know.
Speaker 4 (23:23):
So you know, like I said, when when one door closes,
another one's open, and.
Speaker 5 (23:26):
It's a little bit bigger, a little bit.
Speaker 10 (23:28):
Bit a lot.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
So now that you have all this exactly, and so
you guys are gonna start getting into those spaces as well.
Speaker 6 (23:33):
Absolutely, that's where the whole culture and and the lifestyle
comes in, you know, because we were living that already,
being involved in music and cannabis and pro sports with
all the things that I've been in and Josh has
been there for the whole ride, so it makes sense
to go to that next level and pursue and promote
(23:56):
the beauty of cannabis. But alongside that attached the brand
name to celebrities that are also in the Pro Canada space.
Then that generates wealth and then that wealth can be shared,
which is the whole purpose.
Speaker 3 (24:12):
Sure, I'm curious too, like your guys' delivery service, right,
I mean, it's not just one area. And when I
think about it, and I go, okay, all over Orange County,
La County. That's kind of the area. San Diego. Now
we're getting there the ie it's still blanket Blanket Touches,
San Fernando Valley Touches, Ventura County Touches. But then you
(24:33):
get this out of the box. One Oakland, California. How
why aren't you Oakland, San Jose, San Francisco.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
Actually, our license is actually just held there, so we
currently don't deliver in Oakland. Our license, one of our
licenses is just held there for our delivery. Oh, our
manufacturing license is held in Long Beach.
Speaker 6 (24:53):
But you did touch on a subject that we are
currently implementing, and that is the expansion throughout Central and
Northern California. We have people that want to partner up
with the brand. They see the same vision where we're
going to open basically chapters throughout California, all buying the
same product, all having the same actual menu, you know,
(25:15):
all buying from central We have a transportation license so
we can feed our partners, and then everybody up and
down California can then also support all our philanthropic efforts.
Speaker 5 (25:26):
So people go, oh, yeah, that.
Speaker 6 (25:27):
Company, they're based in Southern California, they're doing this, they
open the school, they did this there, But what's up
with Northern cal So we have to actually have partners
that are making money with the brand representing so.
Speaker 5 (25:39):
They can feel an actual owner.
Speaker 4 (25:42):
In this thing.
Speaker 5 (25:43):
And that's where we're going.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
So people could actually buy in and open their own
Absolutely absolutely, there's there's ways.
Speaker 6 (25:50):
There's legal partnership development that we've put together where we
can expand our brand with partners throughout California.
Speaker 7 (26:00):
Nice. Now, what's this product line we're looking at right here?
Speaker 4 (26:02):
Some of our new branded flour that we got.
Speaker 7 (26:04):
What's that about? Let me can I smell it?
Speaker 3 (26:06):
Let me see, we'll talk about it.
Speaker 4 (26:08):
Take it, you know, go ahead and take it with.
We got pancakes right here for you.
Speaker 5 (26:11):
I mean, it made it made it made sense.
Speaker 6 (26:14):
We have a manufacturing license, we're trying to build a brand,
so why not come out with our own line. So
we got together with a couple of people and say, okay,
we want to start out with a few strains, introduce it,
but more importantly, get the brand out there, and then
after that start expanding to the different products you our
own concentrates, our own arts, and again attaching that five
(26:37):
oh one C three give back to these products. Sure,
so people you know, can smoke a joint from stones
on it know that their money is going to this product.
Speaker 5 (26:45):
I mean to this program. And I can see it.
I can verify it. Yeah, that's what we want to be.
Speaker 7 (26:50):
That's great.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
And this pancakes, what is it? Is it a INDICCA?
Is a gas o? G? What are we looking at it?
Speaker 5 (26:59):
The hybrid?
Speaker 7 (27:00):
I don't even know. I can't see so I think.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
You can't even.
Speaker 7 (27:05):
See that far.
Speaker 4 (27:06):
Yeah, this one's this one was actually a hybrid.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
So I'll tell you, you know, I'll tell you what guys.
You know, you know, I like the product line. I
like where you guys are going with that. I love
your your music as well, dude. I think it's freaking awesome,
you know, And honestly, like I said, you know, I've
known your dad for a long time and I've got,
you know, an opportunity to watch his actions through.
Speaker 7 (27:26):
You know, things like the gentleman that made that sure
mister Hamilton.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
You know, like you know, sharing you know, your story
with Jeff Hamilton for example, and how you know you
guys work together and you were able to help him
and he's able to help you and you guys partnering
with each other and and doing cool things.
Speaker 7 (27:42):
I remember the events that we all through.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
Together at at his place, and then you know, prior
to that, you were at mine. My first one of
my first uh my first office is maybe like what
fourteen years ago or something.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
And then randomly, out of left field, I see him
in Jeff Hamilton at an event I'm hosting.
Speaker 7 (28:00):
I'm doing.
Speaker 3 (28:05):
So and it's just so funny that you know, I
see you there and Jeff and I'm going, what the hell?
So that's why I mean, Rudy.
Speaker 5 (28:11):
Would go so like small circle, it's actually a small man.
Speaker 7 (28:14):
Joe at the Grammys for the first time, it was backstage. Yeah,
it was. It was amazing.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
And then doing cleanup.
Speaker 8 (28:22):
That was that.
Speaker 7 (28:22):
That was that we got a busted for cleanup.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
You know, we were doing Sean Penn, are you guys
here to do?
Speaker 7 (28:31):
Told called us out.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
We were We were invited to a uh AN event
with Sean Penn was hosting a charity event. You know,
it was an auction silent not a silent, was a
live auction, and you know the auctions are going up
for a quarter million dollars.
Speaker 7 (28:44):
At a time and something like that.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
But Joe and I were parking and we get out
of the car and we walk up and and we're
both suited up, and the guy goes, you guys here
to work the kitchen.
Speaker 7 (28:52):
It's over there for you guys over there.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
He literally they were literally like.
Speaker 7 (28:58):
The kitchens over there, you guys, I mean we were.
Speaker 5 (29:02):
That was before social media they would have cut that on.
Speaker 8 (29:05):
No.
Speaker 4 (29:05):
This was just.
Speaker 3 (29:08):
Yeah, I mean ye, but yeah, that long ago, but
long enough to where it was funny. We do a
story on a real ninety two three Yeah, boy, we
told the story was crazy that the things that happened.
But yeah, you talked about his music. We're gonna come
out of this one right here and go to in
my zone. What is in my zone?
Speaker 4 (29:26):
Josh, It's the track I made with a few of
my friends. You know Stone Zones the brand. It's something
that you know. Like I said, we're always trying to
stay in the zone. Get in the zone and get
every zone Stone.
Speaker 3 (29:37):
Let's go, yeah, check out in the zone. Maybe we'll
be right back after this break.
Speaker 4 (29:44):
Yeah, I can like this case o trees froll fue
go boy good and dreams wouldn't seen like sleag go
some ot pushing p's like a patro run the west
from the Yeagle to the bay. Oh mab as they
put me on a tumble down a play though tip
my name that was coming with the halo.
Speaker 9 (30:01):
My shop was to knock like a drake.
Speaker 4 (30:03):
Go. Let's go around to get hot like a potato
coping clothes the one shopping them day yo, and let's
when my pussa got afraid. Oh, I'm gonna go rout
something for my doctor because he says so, hey does
he say so?
Speaker 8 (30:13):
He said?
Speaker 7 (30:14):
He say so.
Speaker 9 (30:14):
They shim saying on the best if you.
Speaker 4 (30:16):
Say so, bas say so, say so, And he should
be saying on the best if you say so at
the bank brow and the dang bro let me feeling thankful,
feeling grateful from the West Coast that we got the
best smoke, grew up up in death fro on the
best flows be a pro. I just knew I had
to show what it got to the world, just in
case it didn't know. Talk me gonna go, when to go,
(30:37):
when to go to the top. But it sorts for
saying stone talking Menna way like my way home. This
was my fear that could have waited long then k
want to take something so but that was the mistiff.
They'll never take nothing to just see that the one
that could keep him face up some I'm ahead of
the game and they want to face us at the
simis claims. So I'm gonna say, gus be great, just
the hate never break us checking them.

Say so like Caso, Yes, yes, Josh, dude, you're spitting,
You're killing it. We just come back with a new
song within my zone. I mean, I don't hate to
say this, but it's like your songs feel like and
I don't. I mean, I feel like the real songs.
And not to offend you, I'm not trying to say
(32:02):
that in a way like I didn't think, I didn't disrespectful,
now you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (32:06):
Like there's a lot of people out there that make
music and you know.
Speaker 7 (32:09):
And you don't know.
Speaker 3 (32:10):
And even in your ship, you're like from the Baity
San Diego to the Bay whatever, Like all you need
to say is the bad of Joe's. You gotta just
playing the bad a little bit.
Speaker 7 (32:19):
And I'm like, I like that.
Speaker 3 (32:20):
Play that again. But it's just funny because it has
such a catchy sound that I could hear it on
the radio. I could hear people playing this. It's stony music,
it's cool music, it's West Coast feel, it's it's just
everything we're about it. It's so like Blue said, the culture,
it's part of the vibe that you guys are creating.
I feel like this music goes with the brand. It's
(32:42):
on points. I I don't mean to say this in
a rouet. I was just so impressively disrespectful. No, I don't,
you know, sometimes say that it's fired. It's impressive to where, like,
are you signed to a label?
Speaker 7 (32:56):
What is it?
Speaker 3 (32:56):
What are you trying to do with this?
Speaker 4 (32:57):
Oh? I mean, I'm definitely trying to take my ship
to the next level, But right now I'm independent.
Speaker 6 (33:01):
Yeah, we're gonna we're gonna figure out which track that
he really wants to push.
Speaker 4 (33:06):
I know I'm going to be dropping a bunch of
new singles following these videos as well.
Speaker 7 (33:09):
So Joe doesn't know that we have a plan.
Speaker 5 (33:11):
Yeah, I just you know, on Joe, you know, we got.
Speaker 4 (33:16):
Some the worst.
Speaker 2 (33:19):
I'm looking at putting them at some of the events
and festivals were doing and kind of showcasing them and
trying to get him out there, and and and actually
discussing some cooler stuff with them. You know, you know,
Rudy and Josh and I have been discussing.
Speaker 7 (33:30):
So we'll bring you up to speed.
Speaker 8 (33:33):
Let me.
Speaker 3 (33:37):
Know when you want me to introduce you to some
of these people too, I mean, not yet.
Speaker 5 (33:42):
Yeah, we're going to be ready, though.
Speaker 3 (33:44):
We'll be ready.
Speaker 4 (33:45):
I'm ready, he's saying, I'm ready.
Speaker 3 (33:48):
Here's what I think. Why hearing what I heard, I
think he's ready to Josh, that's what I feel. I
don't think. I feel like the plan is well overdue.
I mean it's like almost like, what are we waiting for?
Speaker 7 (34:00):
Well, you gotta have you gotta have things lined up.
Speaker 3 (34:01):
Well, not only that, you've got to have some backing too.
It has pretty downloads, just many views and all those things.
But in my opinion too, you say, let that here,
let that here before, Like I'm hearing at going, whoa,
this is gonna this should get them, and if it doesn't, damn,
it's catching ship. That's some other artists here that Hey, some.
Speaker 4 (34:18):
Of these tracks, we're gonna be releasing them all platforms
pretty soon, along with some music videos behind all those.
Speaker 3 (34:23):
Yeah, there's there's a lot. I mean, yeah, there's the
game that needs to be played. Don't get me wrong,
Get up to social media, get all the things, but.
Speaker 5 (34:28):
Nothing, there's nothing.
Speaker 6 (34:30):
Nothing hurts meaning people no and prepping them and giving them,
you know. And that's where what Blue said it, we're
gonna we're gonna put together a plan, but we're gonna
take it exactly the way it's supposed to be, so
we are foundation is set up correctly, so everybody involved wins.
Speaker 2 (34:45):
Yeah, I think I think what happens is, you know,
you know, you once your mind expands from its original format,
will never come back. And what I mean by that
is like once you start to see certain things and
they start to work, you know, all of a sudden
you understand that works, and if it doesn't, it doesn't,
you know. And we were talking about that earlier today.
It's just like, you know, the reason that we're here
is because we failed more, you know, and unfortunately failing
(35:09):
for Yeah, failing is a is a you know, is
being you know, an understatement. You know, you let people down,
people get upset, you get hurt. You know, you lose
your wife over it. You know, your emotions, you know,
your your kids don't like you as much. I mean
there's a ton of ship that can go with that.
And then and then sometimes people say, oh, you don't
(35:29):
need to do that, and so sometimes you can say, yeah,
you do, and then you know, and everyone is different,
and it's all it's all part of how your imagination
allows it to be, you know, because it's what you know.
Speaker 7 (35:39):
You know, your your imagination is that will create those things.
And I think that you know, you've came a.
Speaker 2 (35:43):
Long way, and I've watched what you know, you've you've
had from Rudy as a just a gentleman that runs
in the same circuit, the same network for many years,
and then watching your boy come up and see you know,
what you've done and knowing how to probably do it better,
you know, because you keep so close to you, and
and yet he's still he has a lot to catch up,
(36:05):
you know what I mean in so many different ways.
Speaker 4 (36:07):
You know.
Speaker 7 (36:08):
Let's let's talk about this fun ass car you got outside?
Speaker 3 (36:10):
Man, baby, What did you get that?
Speaker 7 (36:14):
What is that? What are we driving there? But people
ask me what kind of car is that? And I
don't know, I know what kind of car. Yeah it
is the sting Ray. Yeah it's the sting Ray.
Speaker 3 (36:23):
It looks so bossy.
Speaker 4 (36:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (36:26):
Is the sting Ray Is it a special version of
the Corvette.
Speaker 4 (36:29):
Or is the three L T version? Yeah, and it's
a It's badass, man. It's convertible, it's automatic drop top.
So I'm loving it. I'm loving it. Summers coming up.
You already know him and be at the beach.
Speaker 3 (36:40):
You're gonna keep your shirt off.
Speaker 4 (36:43):
First.
Speaker 3 (36:46):
He's got to get that performance body summer.
Speaker 7 (36:49):
We listen, guys, we're gonna get into the High five. Man,
we're gonna talk about that. So Joe was kick it.
Speaker 3 (36:53):
Off question number one of the High five. You guys
with Rudy and Stone. My man Josh over here from
Stone his own delivery. We're gonna go with you. Rudy
Pop's first answer to the question, and Josh you're right
after him. Same question, maybe different answers. Question number one,
how old are you the first time you smoked cannabis?
And where'd you get it from?
Speaker 6 (37:12):
I was thirteen and we were home alone, me and
my brother and one of my friends came over and
I go swimming and even smoking since like elementary school.
Speaker 5 (37:21):
So he goes in there and.
Speaker 6 (37:22):
He starts smoking and jumping in the pool, sitting on
the pool, blowing smoke, you know, and watching the bubbles pop,
and I'm just like, what the hell is this guy doing?
And he let me get high, and after he left,
I sat on the table. I couldn't take my head
off the table. I felt like I was instilling the pool.
And then I kind of got scared, and after that
(37:43):
I said, Okay, I'm not gonna mess with it. And
I didn't get back into it till after I got shot.
And cannabis actually saved my life through that experience.
Speaker 3 (37:50):
What do you mean say, tell that story a little
more elaborate, please, Well, I.
Speaker 6 (37:54):
Got shot working at a waterbed store in a robbery,
and make a long story short, I was in icy
for three and a half months, came out.
Speaker 5 (38:01):
I lost.
Speaker 6 (38:04):
Eighty five pounds I weighed when I got out, I
was one hundred and sixty five when I came in.
Speaker 5 (38:08):
My stomach. My stomach was removed and put in a
different part of my body.
Speaker 6 (38:12):
And without cannabis I would have never had the ability
to eat have an appetite ever again.
Speaker 5 (38:18):
So it actually saved my life. Wow, that's credible. That's
literally how the love affair began.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
You know, It's funny because you know when you know,
I always thought and I knew, I knew the story,
but for some reason, I always thought it how to
do with the towyard.
Speaker 5 (38:34):
No, No, I was working at a waterbed store.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (38:37):
It was the week. It was the week after the
Challenger exploded.
Speaker 6 (38:40):
Yeah, February. Oh, wow, February third of eighty six. I
was twenty one.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
Wow, you're a young man eighty six. He was twenty one. Yeah,
sh oldful, exactly like Biden's.
Speaker 5 (39:00):
I got a lot of wisdom.
Speaker 4 (39:01):
Yeah, he looked at that one year. But I was
fourteen years old and I was with one of my
best friends and his older brother and his best friend,
and we went to the US Open over here at
Huntington Beach, right, and yeah, so we smoked a fat
blunt in his car before we went, and man, I
was lit tea.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
That makes for a good US Open.
Speaker 4 (39:19):
Oh it was great. There was great music. We got
out of the car, we went and got a milkshake
from Bomberger down there. It was a great time. It
was a great time, great experience.
Speaker 2 (39:26):
Question number two of the High five, what is your
favorite way to use or smoke cannabis?
Speaker 4 (39:30):
Me?
Speaker 6 (39:31):
Yes, paper, either cones or zigzags. That's the best way.
Speaker 5 (39:37):
I think you get the flavor. You don't have to
worry about tobacco. You don't have to worry about your.
Speaker 6 (39:42):
Lighter, fluid and all the other stuff that you get
in it. I think you get a nice, clean hit.
Speaker 5 (39:46):
But I do all of them.
Speaker 4 (39:48):
But I prefer paper, rightsh I beg to differ, to
be honest, I was always a flower guy for a
very long time, you know. And you know I always
rolled blunts or just hit the bomb. But you know,
I say, in the past, like years, two years, I
got onto the davs and I never looked back. Really,
you like that hard? I love dabs now.
Speaker 3 (40:06):
Man, there it is love it Nothing wrong with that
question Number three, what's the craziest place you ever used
or smoked cannabis?
Speaker 5 (40:12):
The craziest It would have to be the movie theater.
Speaker 3 (40:15):
What movie were you watching?
Speaker 5 (40:16):
I was, wait a minute, what, Oh? I was watching Platoon.
Speaker 3 (40:19):
What a great movie. At the beginning of that movie
I was watching with them coming right to the war.
Speaker 6 (40:25):
Said they said, all my friends were smoking regularly. Go
do you gotta smoke? And I go, how are we
gonna smoke in the theater?
Speaker 3 (40:31):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (40:31):
Dude, Well you can do it, dude, were cana sit
in the corner.
Speaker 6 (40:33):
And uh so we went like on a week day
when there's a few people there, and we smoked through
the whole thing.
Speaker 5 (40:38):
Nobody said ship and it was a trip.
Speaker 3 (40:40):
I did it too, I've done that before. It's fun.
Speaker 7 (40:44):
Yeah, they said ship, but we just looked at her.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
Nobody said anything when I did it when I was younger.
Speaker 7 (40:48):
Yeah, we were so young.
Speaker 3 (40:52):
With downtown San Jose.
Speaker 5 (40:54):
I thought we were gonna get tossed for sure. We're
gonna see half of the movie.
Speaker 7 (40:59):
We're just all sit there straight faced, like, don't think
this was like a smoking.
Speaker 5 (41:06):
When the smoke stops getting up, you know.
Speaker 6 (41:09):
All and you're looking at the screen, it's just like
right there you can see all the smoke.
Speaker 5 (41:13):
Ship looking around. Who's doing it? What about?
Speaker 4 (41:17):
I would probably say in Costa Rica, me, me and
my brother, we got we out in Costa Rica and
we went into like a little jungle cruise and that
ship was badass. We got high in the jungle. We
were like right next to this volcano too.
Speaker 3 (41:30):
It was beautiful here.
Speaker 4 (41:32):
The monkeys we were tripping out there.
Speaker 5 (41:33):
Yeah, the exotic story, it was fancy and ship.
Speaker 7 (41:39):
Question number four of the high five. What is your
go to munchie after you get high?
Speaker 4 (41:45):
First, I'll say In and Out.
Speaker 5 (41:46):
I was gonna say the same thing. We don't have one,
like right around the corner from us.
Speaker 7 (41:50):
Yea father, Like what do you?
Speaker 5 (41:53):
What do you?
Speaker 7 (41:54):
I mean, there's not much to order, but what's your order?
Speaker 4 (41:57):
Actually? I order something a little different. Have you ever
heard of a flying man?
Speaker 7 (42:00):
Yeah, yeah, no I haven't. What is that?
Speaker 4 (42:02):
It's just the meat and cheese, two patties stuck together
with cheese and no buns.
Speaker 3 (42:07):
Yeah, not even wrapped in lettuce.
Speaker 4 (42:09):
It's just and you can get lettuce, but.
Speaker 3 (42:13):
Just the meat and the cheese.
Speaker 4 (42:14):
And I'm telling you go to In and Out next time.
Tell them I need a flying Dustman. You'll thank me later.
Speaker 5 (42:19):
Yeah, you probably have to get six of them, you know.
Speaker 8 (42:24):
I'm down.
Speaker 4 (42:27):
Yeah, they're really good.
Speaker 3 (42:28):
And what is yours?
Speaker 5 (42:29):
Just a regular combo? You can't go wrong. Grilled onions,
you can't go wrong.
Speaker 3 (42:36):
I could do grilled and regular grill.
Speaker 7 (42:39):
I asked for grill and wrow.
Speaker 5 (42:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (42:42):
Sometimes like how you watch you it is grilled and raw.
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (42:47):
I'm playing Jane. I get like I get a burger,
I get everything like only we all do a flying
Dustman and and just do Mustard.
Speaker 5 (42:54):
Extra special sauce for sure.
Speaker 3 (42:56):
The question number five of the high five from the
gentleman from the stone Zone Delivery Service. If you're looking
for cannabis, go to stone Zone Delivery dot com. If
you can smoke with cannabis with anyone dead or alive,
who would it be?
Speaker 9 (43:11):
And why.
Speaker 3 (43:14):
Talk about it?
Speaker 5 (43:15):
William Shakespeare?
Speaker 7 (43:17):
Wow?
Speaker 3 (43:19):
Why?
Speaker 5 (43:21):
Because?
Speaker 6 (43:22):
First off, if I got to actually sit out with
William Shakespeare, I'd probably find out that he's not who
we think he is. Number one, But I'd like to
pick his brain being a Freemason and his involvement in masonry.
I would love to really dig at the motivation for
his writing period, Like what are you trying to do?
Speaker 5 (43:45):
Is your purpose in life? I mean we talk about
him today, studied all.
Speaker 3 (43:49):
You studied a lot?
Speaker 5 (43:50):
Yeah, yeah, and so powerful.
Speaker 7 (43:52):
You've been in the Freemasons for how many years now?
Speaker 5 (43:54):
I'm twenty five year anniversary in August thirteenth.
Speaker 7 (43:58):
You know it's funny.
Speaker 2 (44:00):
First when we first met, I think there was like
a someone that you're with in the one of my
Orange counties.
Speaker 3 (44:06):
To way back.
Speaker 7 (44:07):
Yeah, but as an older, older gentleman, you know, and
we we we we've been I mean, we go.
Speaker 3 (44:12):
Back so far.
Speaker 5 (44:13):
Yeah, yeah, it's it's crazy. It's been a it's been
a great journey, filled with just as many lows as
there was highs.
Speaker 6 (44:21):
So we think that by going through, like you said,
the wins and losses, we've come to a place where
we can actually manifest our our goals together using all
our experience.
Speaker 3 (44:32):
Sure.
Speaker 2 (44:33):
Yeah, well, like I was I was sharing with your boy,
is that you know, you have to realize that you're
in the journey. You're actually absolutely a lot of people
don't realize that you're doing it. You know, like you're
actually doing these things. It's like you know, and and
then when you try and explain it to somebody, they
don't understand it, you know, because.
Speaker 7 (44:49):
It's like, oh, because they weren't there, right, But you know,
it's it's you're in that journey.
Speaker 2 (44:54):
You're actually you know, doing that, you know, and and
it's so difficult for uh, I think tak us even
to understand that. Yeah, you know, so once you started
understanding that you're in the journey, you actually live this
every day and this is your life.
Speaker 5 (45:06):
It's deeply it's deeply personal for both of us.
Speaker 6 (45:11):
We both have our own intention of why we make
our certain decisions, but the main goal is common and
if we can present ourselves as one of those companies
that are in existing, are existing to help the common
good in whatever shape or manner we choose to do it.
I want them and everybody around to know that the
(45:33):
world is a better place because of these guys.
Speaker 5 (45:35):
And if we can do that, then that's solid.
Speaker 3 (45:38):
I can ask for praise guy, What about you, Josh.
Speaker 4 (45:41):
Shit, I'd probably say Bob Marley.
Speaker 7 (45:44):
Soldier O G.
Speaker 4 (45:45):
You know, I mean, he's a great musical influence on me.
You know, even though that's not my particular genre. I
for sure love reggae, and you know, it's just the
O G. Stoner man like. I think that'd be hard
to know.
Speaker 3 (45:58):
With Bob, I think it'd be great. So what's next
for stone Zone? Do we forget anything? You guys want
to drop anything on the podcast? Let everybody know about
something that we didn't touch on.
