Oils Welcome back home.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
They didn't get having.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Here and no Kelly, but you know, I feel like
it was a show Heidi and Kelly, like you know,
Kelly Ryan whatever, Kelly and her husband. Heidi is here
from the rand Oils baking away. You've been with us
on this journey doing others fun things. Now on the show,
we have the CEO of Mumbo, which is Mani Maple.
Welcome Mani to the show. And now many Maple and Mumbo.
(01:33):
They've been creating the next generation of CBD bakery and
wellness products for seniors, which I like that because there's
niche for seniors. Everybody needs to have a niche, and
seniors definitely need them. If you don't realize as folks,
seniors are the ones that are visiting the dispensaries the
most and they're finding so much benefit to it. Our
very own Daniel gave his family members, his mother and
(01:54):
father some CBD THC products and I just heard him
say that his mom and dad said they never slept
as good as they did after eating some of the products.
So it works out there. And these products now consist
of nano water solutions that we're going to hear about
solubles ingredients that will change the way the mature demographics
receive the cannabis, which is going to be interesting to
(02:16):
hear how you break this all down for us now.
Maple has been helping big brands with bring him to
life with visually for over twenty five years. I know
he looks younger than that, but he's been doing it
for a long time. He's worded with Fortune five hundred companies,
international nonprofits, and faith based organizations to develop marketing, advertising
and communication campaigns. He has worked with great teams to
(02:37):
create an innovative approach to increase revenue for faith and
nonprofit organizations that bridge the gap between cause and commerce.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
Now.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
He has also had an extensive experience and event and marketing,
logistics and advertising and marketing career. His clients have included
former President George Bush. Wow, look at you.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
Given that's probably enough stuff in it, not at all,
because you belie that's good.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Colorado Governor Owen's quest Communications, make a Wish which is
a great big one, call um by Memorial Events, which
that's just touching right there. That touches my heart, that
knowing that you've helped these people out and global nonprofits. Now,
Mumbo is derived from Moni's family brand, which we're going
to learn so much more about, which produces the largest
(03:23):
cake supply company in Nevada. Be sure to check out
their website mumbolife dot com. That's m U, M B
O l I f E dot com to grab their
easy to use mixes inspired by the ran oils, which
I didn't know and he was telling me all about.
So let's jump right into it. Welcome them too the show. Everybody, Now,
(03:43):
what are we doing here today? As we have Heidi
and Monti Manti your company? Real quick? What is it about?
How did you start it?
Speaker 3 (03:51):
I really saw an opportunity to take CBD. I've never
done drugs in my life. I was a ministry, so
praise to God, every monisor is drug free. But that's true,
that's cool. But we really saw an opportunity to really
take CBD to main street and we don't really see
it in grocery stores and most of the older crowd
really afraid of this industry. They don't understand it. They
(04:12):
don't understand the milligram from a you know anything right, right,
So I really wanted to simplify it down so that
you go to the grocery store, you pull it off
the shelf. It's ready to go. As we're going to
see today. And we've got a lot of line of
products coming out. But all of that came at as
a result of us running the largest cake and candy
supply store in Nevada, and it was Tempting Treasures and
(04:33):
my mother in law has had it for forty years wow.
And so people kept coming in saying, we'd like to
do this, but we'd't understand how to infuse. We don't
understand any of that stuff. We just wanted to be simple.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
And so in those forty years, and I'm sorry to
cuts you off, have you guys been using the rand
oils for the majority of that We know this.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
We've known this young lady for about twenty five years.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
Really, yeah, see, you're just crazy because he's twenty eight
years old right now, I know. I mean, so you've
noticed that she was three years old.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
Sorry about that idea, but She used to answer the
phones and take my mother in law's orders, and my
mother in law would fax them to her and she
would take the orders. So we have a whole row
of nothing but Lorraine oil. We've been selling it for
twenty five years, so we really knew that they were
(05:19):
key for us. And I'll share it later on some
of the other stuff that we're doing with them.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Now.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
We've partnered with them and are doing some amazing stuff
with Loryin oils. But we love this young lady.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
She's amazing, right, and their company's just amazing, been around
for over fifty plus years. Yeah, and I believe it
started in nineteen sixty three and it's just been hooking
ever since. And every time I touch anything that you
guys are making with Loran oils, I'm and every company
I run across here you guys using Laran oils. No,
if they're not, I'm like, oh, why why do you
ask them? Like? Because I taste the difference? Yeah, And
(05:49):
then we called you. One time I was at an
event and I remember like running into a company that
did I go, no way, we should call Heidi and
say hi? Or the other lady called them like, oh
my God, Joe, you know of Loreno oils. Yeah, we
work with them too, and it's just that grade of
a product. So if you're making infused products just CBD,
it's great. If you're just baking like you you were
saying you had a company not doing anything at all
(06:12):
with anything, and Manty's saying, for twenty five years they
were using larand oils and now they're in the CBD
space and now they're still using the same type of
larano oils.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
No just using Now we have found it between us,
we have found ways to even alter the product from
oils to powder that we're now doing. I'll share that
with you later. But we we're married at the hip
with a lot of the things that we're doing nice.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
So now what are we making today? For people that
are following along listening to the podcast, are watching going
what are we going to bake today?
Speaker 5 (06:40):
We're going to make the best brownies you've ever had.
We're gonna use the brownie mix. Like you said, it's
already infused, so it takes all that guestwork out of it.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
And this is something that you get from Mumbo. Yes,
so you go to Mumbo, it already has the CBD
in the brownie mix.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
So think about you pulled it off the shelf, regardles,
what's dispensary, grocery store, wherever, you pull it off, and
now you're just like any brownie mix that any lady
has made or any guy has made.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
You don't have to break down the butter. You don't
have to cook it.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
Oh no, none of that.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
It's already in there and it's not going to get
you high.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Folks now trying to put that out. It's it's nano
and it's water soluble. Everything we do at Mumbo is
water soluble.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
I read that at the beginning, So why is there
a big difference with that.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
Every time you put an oil like a tinser oil, okay,
it's got to go through the kidney to process to
get an effect. With water soluble, you will feel the
effects within five minutes because it's water soluble and it's
broken down so fine that you get instant feeling out
of it. And it's also ninety five percent bioavailable, which
means you're squeeze at every ounce of what the CBD
(07:43):
is supposed to do into your body, not the case
with water with oils.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Nice, So we've.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
Really taken it's the next generation in what we're doing
with CBD as well as the other products as well
as they're out there TAC but we do the whole
gamut from Delta eight. We do the whole thing, but
we really focus main Street on CBD.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
So if you're gonna order, folks, go to mumbolife dot
com and get that from them. Our grab who are kidding,
grab your brownie mix that you have in your pantry.
One or the other. They're gonna work. But for this
said case, if you want to get your full benefits,
go ahead and get this. So we're gonna start with
go ahead.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
You can also do a powder. We have a powder,
so you got as well. Yeah, and you can take
it in anything you want. Water. As a matter of fact,
that's that's our water. How look how clear that is
and that has the CBD in that's CBD already in it. Wow,
So yeah, that's water.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Unbelievable. Yeah, so I expect it to be a little
fogg or something something. We don't know.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
We don't do faug nice, we do clear, maybe.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
We do clear. Go ahead, min, I appreciate that brownie mix.
What else do you do? On it. What do they need?
They need the brownie mix, right.
Speaker 5 (08:45):
So just for the basic brownie mix, we go with water, oil,
and egg, but we kind of did a little bit
of a spin on it.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
Because it's a really good foundational mix.
Speaker 5 (08:54):
You can add a lot of different flavors and inclusions
and kind of turn it into something that's even more fancy.
The brownie mix on its own, I can attest is
like a good fudgy brownie. It's like exactly what you
hope it would be. So we're gonna use from Lran
for our oil. We're gonna use a good neutral oil,
which is our grape seed, and then we are going
to use our raspberry emulsion.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
We're also gonna veine it with a raspberry jam.
Speaker 5 (09:19):
We're gonna throw some little chocolate chips in there, and
then we've got a white chocolate ganache that we've flavored
with our pistachio emulsion to finish that off.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh, that sounds missus Gormet
on steroids. Okay, so those are the ingredients that you
need now that you got back, folks, We're gonna break
real quick. We're gonna come back and we're gonna add
it all together. If you want to bake with us,
you can press pause. Get all your things ready once again?
How many do they need a certain amount of measuring
sticks or anything for them to get this ready?
Speaker 4 (09:49):
Yep, you'll need a quarter cup of water. We're actually
gonna use dark.
Speaker 5 (09:53):
Beer because I like the way that stout interacts with
chocolate makes it a lot richer, So we're gonna kind
of alter that a little bit too. You'll need a
third cup of water or a third cup of vegetable
oil or a neutral oil like our grape seed in
one egg, and then anything else that you want to
throw into it will kind of demonstrate on how you
can customize that to include your favorite flavors.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
The dark beer that's real beer, yes, and that cooks
out in the food, so as your kids are eating it,
it's not going to be something that they're getting drunk
off of. Yes, it's Cannabis Talk one oh one. We
right back after this. I hope you're ready to bake
baby with the ran oils and mambo life.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
You're listening to Cannabis Talk one oh one. Cannabis Talk
one oh one one, the world's number one source for
everything cannabis.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
You guys know what time it is, right, that's right,
dive time, Think high. Where Dime Industries find them in California, Arizona,
and Oklahoma. Check out the website dim industries dot com
or on Instagram Dime dot industries. Oh goodness, I got
something in my throat. Excuse me? Hey, Oh, we're back
here with Heidi and Monty. We're ready to bake.
Speaker 5 (11:02):
I guess yes, all right, so preheat that Ovento three
point fifty.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
That's key.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
Yes, I always forget that step. Go ahead and spray
that pan.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Oh excuse me.
Speaker 5 (11:13):
We're using an eight x eight pan that'll give you
a good depth of brownie in about sixteen pieces that
are two by two each.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Now, I noticed you guys are lined the pan with
a paper. I'd never seen that before.
Speaker 5 (11:26):
It makes it a lot easier to take the brownie
out as a whole, and especially if you're trying to
be really precise with your cuts in getting really good
consistent serving sizes, you want to be able to pull
everything out and have nice thick slide or have nice
clean cuts. So we line it with parchment paper, spray
the parchment paper.
Speaker 4 (11:43):
And it's an easy release.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
I like it.
Speaker 5 (11:45):
Yeah, and then you don't have a lot of pan
clean up afterwards, too, which is nice.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Perfect.
Speaker 5 (11:49):
So next step we have our mix and then this
is our pre infused mix. Go ahead, and I'm fat
already amazing.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
Teddy, no chocolate for you, please down.
Speaker 5 (12:08):
Then I'm going to add a quarter cup of dark beer,
a third cup of neutral oil. I'm using grape seed
and one egg, and then we're going to add our
raspberry bakery emulsion and I'll let you go ahead and
(12:29):
measure with your heart about two teaspoons.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
I have the teaspoon hair, yes, and I'll go that's
about one, and that's about two.
Speaker 5 (12:38):
You're a pro, great job, all right, and then go
ahead and whisk that together.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
It should come together pretty easily.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
It's a good mix that breaks down.
Speaker 5 (12:49):
You don't want to overmix it because you don't want
to over develop the gluten and end up with like
a tough baked good. So just until it's combined and
then there's no light powdery parts in.
Speaker 4 (12:59):
The in the mix.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
I have to tell you, I'm so excited to do
this because I think I've talked to you online and
said I've always been afraid to bake. I like cooking,
I like grilling, I like, you know, doing things like that.
But for some weird reason, like doing this right here,
I'm not used to doing this. I will buy a
pancake mix that's already damn near just add water types
(13:21):
because I'm so afraid. And I say afraid because I
don't know why I have this thing with baking that
makes me like, oh, I can't bake. I'm not a
baker guy.
Speaker 4 (13:30):
Anybody can bake.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
Exactly, and you're giving me the confidence by allowing me
to do this. I don't know what I'm gonna bake first,
but I feel like I'm baking this, and I'm doing
this together.
Speaker 4 (13:38):
This is the first thing you're baking. This is awesome.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
So a nice whist. Do you think that's good enough?
Speaker 4 (13:43):
There?
Speaker 3 (13:44):
Yep.
Speaker 5 (13:44):
I'm just gonna scrape the sides of the bowl to
make sure that we've got all of our powdery ingredients incorporated.
Speaker 4 (13:50):
There's a couple of clumps on the side.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
Add a little spatchelor to this, and then whisk a
little more.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
You can do this mix or two if you want
to go quicker.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
Oh, you have one of those nice machines that you use.
Speaker 5 (14:01):
Yeah, but this mixes comes together really well, so it's
not really necessary, so even easier. You don't have to
have a lot of fancy equipment. Go ahead and pourter
that in there. Good, that's good, you think so, I
think so okay, And then you probably want that to
clean the sides of the bull so you can make
sure you get all that goodness.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
There we go. Let me get this one here and
take that. I like the way you did it. You
did it so nice.
Speaker 5 (14:26):
Yep, you just got to hug the bull and get
all the get all the good stuff in the pan.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
And the good part about your stuff, Monty, it already
has it in there. There's no heating up anything else,
there's no cooking anything else. Just add the products in
the bag and it already has the goodness to it.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
And the great thing is is our powder took a
year and a half to develop it out, but it's
it's specifically for the confectionery world because it handles heat,
so it doesn't degrade with heat, even with hard candy,
any of those mixes. It maintains its standards and u
it's a it's amazing products.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
Good to the last drop came. Now we have the
brownie mix in it.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
Yep, and go high and wide with the chocolate chips
you know that one?
Speaker 5 (15:10):
Hi, And why you don't have to use all of
those just kind of eyeball it just so you're getting
the corner mountain.
Speaker 4 (15:16):
Each piece. It'll just add a little extra chocolate.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
M mmmmmmm, well I mean more chocolate, guys or not right,
each barcelar is like what do you mean? And we
need to have it all never enough chocolate. I feel
like it needs to be everywhere, right.
Speaker 5 (15:37):
Yeah, Okay, we're gonna actually mix that up a little
bit while we do this. This is about a quarter
cup of raspberry preserves and we're just gonna kind of
drizzle on the top and then we're gonna spoon it in.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
So you just couldn't leave my mix alone. You just
had to keep bad and stuff.
Speaker 4 (15:55):
Didn't Mumbo two point zero.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
That's great song, now, thank you Salara. That was a
good one.
Speaker 5 (16:06):
And then the spoon and I'll do the first half
and then you do the second half and just kind
of swirling around, yeah exactly, just.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Kind of get it a little thing where you just
move it around so it gets into a little bit
of yeah, exactly everywhere.
Speaker 4 (16:20):
You want everybody to have a perfect bite.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Oh my goodness, where do they get that at?
Speaker 5 (16:26):
Where is this a raspberry Jammywhere your favorite one? And
like I said, this is a really good mix that
you can customize and.
Speaker 4 (16:34):
Make it your own.
Speaker 5 (16:35):
So if you like strawberry instead, or you like something
like apricot and chocolate, or you could use white chocolate chips,
you could use any kind of inclusion nuts, have a
good time with it.
Speaker 4 (16:47):
Native So that was easy. We're all ready to go
in the oven.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
This is it.
Speaker 5 (16:51):
This is it.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
That's all you got to do it. And then what
are the other ingredients when we're using These are going
to be garnishes just to put on top to make it.
Speaker 4 (16:58):
We're going to make a pretty plate.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
So as we do something like this, I'm so curious
how much CBD is actually in this monty.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
We've got by the time it's all broken down, about
twenty milligrams. We wanted to hit a spot right in
the middle, you know, not too light, but with CBD
we want them to build a feeling. And with our
water soluble and nano you feel it even more about
ten times the feel that you get off of regular
CBD that you might have an attention.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
What are some of the reactions from people using this.
What are you getting from your clients that have saying,
oh my god, I'm eating this, I'm you, I'm going
to mama getting the brownie mix and other products that
you guys have there. What are some of the anecdotal
evidence that you've been hearing.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
It's just a nice chill. She did a party one
night doing this back home with some girlfriends. Tell them
how they felt.
Speaker 4 (17:51):
Everybody had a really good day. It was the first
nice day of the season.
Speaker 5 (17:55):
I whipped up some brownies and I made my deliveries
to some friends and some family members, and everybody called
me and said, weed or noweed, this is the best
brownie I've ever had.
Speaker 4 (18:05):
But then also thanks for.
Speaker 5 (18:07):
The good day because they just felt relaxed, they could
enjoy the weather, no stress.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
It was was perfect. Well, that's perfect. Mumbolife dot com
is the website for that. Of course. Loran Oils dot
com is the website for these. Get your products, start
your baking. We're gonna put these in the oven, bring
them out. See it what they're looking like. It's cannabis talk.
One on one. We'll be right back after this break.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
You're listening to Cannabis Talk one oh one. Cannabis Talk
one oh one one, the world's number one source for
everything cannabis. Cannabis.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
If you're looking for a trusted cannabis seed at a
fair price, head to Rocket seeds dot com. Right now,
are on ig at Rocket Underscore Seeds. I want to
thank our whole staff out here for doing so much
to make all this happen. Jorge Marcus, Mondo, Teddy the
show Dog, Jessica, Daniel Diego, O'Connor. You made it on
the list, cam Beats, Barcelara, Ali, Goldie Brother, Pitt, Mark Carns,
Chris Frankeno, Jennifer, Erica and Elvis. And I gotta tell
(19:08):
you guys, Hi to you, Monty. This has been so
interesting seeing this and talking off the air about what
you guys and how you guys are collaborated. We're gonna
get into that in a second. But we have the
brownies now done. Yes, we put them in the oven,
but we have a finished product and mine will come
out soon, but yours are prepped. What do we have
and what are we looking at to do here? Because
this is just so what you did. You pulled out
(19:29):
that from the same pan. I'm assuming yep, this just
came out.
Speaker 5 (19:33):
That's what is nice about using the parchment and sprayed,
so you can just pick it all.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
Up and he has a good weighting against you.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
So now we're just gonna cut up some pieces and
then plait them up and make them into.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
A nice dessert.
Speaker 5 (19:46):
I have a white chocolate ganash that was flavored with
our Pistachio Bakery emulsion, and it's white chocolate ganache. Is
just like fifty to fifty heavy cream and white chocolate.
Melt it down, put in the flavor. It's super easy.
Speaker 4 (20:00):
You can do that with any other kind of flavors
or with light.
Speaker 5 (20:03):
Chocolate, dark chocolate. But we'll just put a little bit
of the ganache on the plate and then we'll cut
a piece of brownie and I go two by two
on these and get sixteen servings.
Speaker 4 (20:18):
So hope, I think this is about it.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
And the mix is designed for sixteen service. Oh it is,
so the CBD is equally proportionate.
Speaker 5 (20:26):
Oh great, all right, so we've got the brownie.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
We can throw some berries on.
Speaker 5 (20:34):
It, and let's put a couple Oh my goodness.
Speaker 4 (20:40):
Mint leaves make it pretty.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
You know what you're doing, Heidi show boating, Yeah exactly. No,
I'm like, this looks like high end, no doubt.
Speaker 4 (20:51):
All right, we need a fork.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Oh do we have a fork somewhere? Do we have
a fork somewhere? Let's see, we gotta have a fork somewhere. Oh,
you just have a little knife that will probably work.
Do I get to have the honors?
Speaker 4 (21:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Absolutely?
Speaker 2 (21:07):
Oh my goodness. Okay, you guys, well the first you
should just do it with a raspberry the whole night.
Speaker 4 (21:11):
Or pick it up and eat it with your hair.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
I mean, let me cut a piece first, just to
just to get the full effect of the m hm.
Oh my goodness. You can just tell the brownie itself.
There's such a dense, good feel flavor. Oh yeah, that
(21:33):
raspberry phenomenal. Now I'm gonna put a real raspberry on
top of it. Is you're not kidding. That's one of
the best brownies I've ever had in my life. It's
like sticking to my teeth so great, I want to
just suck on it for a while.
Speaker 4 (21:47):
Yeah, it's good with coffee to have that like nice.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Bitter and to think about how easy it was to
make CBD's already in there. Don't have to worry about
any of that, and that's.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
What you get. This is perfect for the family, and
I hope for dinner desert out. None of that calms
the kids down.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
And a great thing is the great thing is is
you can do it at work. It's not affecting your
work because all it is this is a nice hill.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
I got to make these at home for my kids
and be like, hey, guys, I got brownies for everybody.
You know what I mean? That is not no. I'm
not just saying that because I be like, that's good
and that's it. This is literally one of the best
brownie's ever had in my life. I know because it's
so fresh. Oh my goodness, it's tasty. Am I supposed
to be the bad when that's boy making another piece,
(22:34):
a bunch of pieces.
Speaker 3 (22:35):
Don't worry about hiding it will be all right.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
I am literally you guys, and I've been watching my
wait for so long now I'm not trying to eat
bad brown m mmmmm. It's cheap. Yeah, Solari, you Bachelord
for building these people.
Speaker 3 (22:57):
See Joe, even you could even you can pull this off.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
At home.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
Even you.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
I didn't realize it was that easy to bake it.
Just you just did it.
Speaker 4 (23:04):
You just did it in like five or ten minutes.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
You did it. How long has it taken the oven?
Speaker 4 (23:09):
About thirty nine minutes?
Speaker 2 (23:10):
Okay, people, you need to try this at home. You
need to bake this. Not only that, I love the
fact that you guys are catering a more mature audience.
This going after your senior citizens, because let's just face it,
a lot of us that are past fifty, us on
past fifty. We're on medications, we're on things that help
(23:32):
us with this, but getting a daily CBD. Maybe a
lot of people aren't putting a tinster underneath their tongue.
Speaker 3 (23:37):
We're not even carrying a tincture. We're carring it. We're
carrying a tablet, a capsule. Really, So everything we're doing
is really geared so that there's no guesswork in what
you're getting, and we're making it as easy as possible.
This is just one example of what we're doing.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Gumbolife dot com good, not mumbo mumbo. Sorry, So where'd
that love come from? To to expirit? To want to
go in that direction?
Speaker 3 (24:03):
I'm getting ready to have surgery to have my ankle fused.
So I had an ankle for about ten years who's
been swollen up. So somebody told me how to try
some CBD ointment on your ankle. It took all of
the inflammation out. Now I'm not saying that will be
for everybody, right, but for me, it really worked. And
I don't like doing drugs, don't like the high. My
personality is big enough. I don't need it to be
(24:26):
altered in any form or fashion. So I just wanted
something that would chill me out, that would help me sleep.
So at night I take one capsule chills me out
for sleep and I get great night's sleep. So I
have used it that way and the people that we've
asked to do this, so it really put me down
this path of I want to be able to help people.
My wife and I are sixty seven years of age,
(24:47):
and we've got a lot of young people that are
really brainiacs. Dalton and Dylan run are manufacturing and all
of the plant all of the high end stuff. Don't
ask me how they get from oils. We take the
oil that they have that one at We've taken loran
oils and we've turned it into powder. So that's the
technology that Darling and Dylan down and so we're going
(25:10):
to take We're going to take powders that way they
could take. You can flavor into anything. It doesn't mess
up a recipe. So they love this stuff and we're
really excited about a lot of things we're doing. And
we're doing it with the same thing with these This
is a hard candy mix right with CBD already in it.
So we just took their their mix, Lorraine Oil's mix,
(25:32):
added CBD to it. And so this is a product
that we're able to co brand and put out on
the market, so Lauren doesn't have to worry about the
CVD part.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
We do all of that and you put your name
on it, so therefore it's there.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
But most people, I got to say this, most people
don't realize this is Heidi's brainchild, that will Rand. She
engineered all of this. Really, she created the mix, she
created all of it, and so all we're doing is
just climbing on her train and saying, let us do this.
So she worked it through her whole board, all receipt
(26:05):
the whole brass, and.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
Say let this company be able to do this with us.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
Yeah, and so we really owe.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
Heart was at Heidi. Was that a lot of convincing
of well do we want to let them do that?
You are you very much? I mean on zoom, I've
been convinced you're the best baker in the world.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
But I want you to be a favorite. And I appreciate,
by the way, the opportunity we're we're honored to be
able to be here and we're hoping were gonna be
abild to business for for a long time. But I
want you to take this home. This is your project
from Mumbo And what is this? This is a cookie
mix Okay, same thing. You follow the instructions on the back,
you'll be able to make cookies. They're all CBD infused
and you're gonna love this too. This is an amazing mixer.
Speaker 2 (26:44):
You know you got CBD. Like I believe personally everybody
should have a CBD intake like you do your daily vitamins,
if it's a multi vitamin, if anything, I personally believe that,
Like I'm mister, I just put more CBD in my
car today oil that I use on a daily and
I'm just an advocate of it. That's what got me
towards even doing the show right because I too had
(27:06):
an ankle. I had actually hip problems. I've got two
hip surgeries. I just had an ankle surgery last year,
and I find that it doesn't take it away completely.
But my ankle surgery goes back from eighth grade. Hips
got two surgeries. I have arthritis now, so I deal
with a blue handicapped placard on my license plates, and
I deal with a lot of pain when I'm walking around.
(27:26):
The more CBD I take, I noticed my walks a
little more higher. I just recently, in the last eleven days,
have been walking ten thousand steps now, and I wasn't
able to even do that before, you know what I mean,
because of my bad ankle. So it wasn't like, oh
I want to, don't want, you know, I couldn't do
it because it was so much pain in my ankle.
And now I'm able to get my ten thousand steps
in just for the last X amount of days. So
(27:48):
I'm happy and I can't wait to try this, can't
wait for my family to try it. Because the way
this tastes, I taste no type of anything else in it.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
It's totally tasteless.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
There's no like that. You know, how you drink something
sometimes or you eat something sometimes and it has that
little weedy, bushy, dirty dirt something that makes you feel like, oh,
I'm using cannabis.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
Yes, that is, that is already infused with our CVD.
Look how clear that is?
Speaker 2 (28:15):
Can I take a drink of it?
Speaker 3 (28:16):
Absolutely? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (28:17):
Okay, so this is just the clear clean water. It
was brand new. Wow, Okay, it has a flavor in it.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
No, they might have put her watermelon in there a
little bit, maybe.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
A little bit, yeah, just to touch, just.
Speaker 4 (28:35):
To smell a little bit of fruit.
Speaker 2 (28:36):
Yeah, can you smell something in there?
Speaker 4 (28:38):
Yeah, it smells like watermelon to me.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
Oh, it tastes amazing.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
But see, I'm sure that is. That's really It took
us a year and a half to really get this product.
And again the guys shout out to the guys that
iced to Daltond Dylan, they're amazing fabricator.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
Do you sell this on your side as well the water? Yeah,
we will.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
There's a lot of things. We're coming out with a
whole line of wellness products this summer. But I got
to get past my surgery here in another month. But
we wanted to kick this off with this young lady
and get get mumble. We're brand new. Matter of fact,
your show is the first time anybody's ever seen this.
You're kidding me, no, and we wanted to do it here. Well, folks,
come watch it online. You can see how beautiful it is.
You heard how great it is. Manty I want to
(29:17):
do the high five with you, as you know you're
the newer guest. Heiight, he's been on it several times
doing the questions, and I love that.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
Daniel has been like really titled in the title to
your ordain, you know, love for mister Ordained. Yes, so
do I. He explained that to me. I was like, dude,
that is brilliant. How heii has that? So, Mantya, we're
gonna start with the high five with you. You can
be in the middle, you can be there. How old
are you? Oh? No, no, no, how old? How old are you?
(29:45):
The first time you use cannabis? And where'd you get
it from?
Speaker 3 (29:49):
Mom? And haven't I've ever used marijuana? Just just say it.
But the first time I did it probably was three
or four years ago.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
Wow. So in their late fifties.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
Yeah, I'm you're kind I'm sixty seven dance.
Speaker 2 (30:05):
Okay, so in your sixties, is the first time you
actually trying it?
Speaker 3 (30:08):
Yeah, yeah, it just every who gave it to you, huh.
I don't remember. I don't remember.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
That's why you're in your late sixties there.
Speaker 3 (30:17):
You didn't really have to go there on that, Okay,
but first time. This is a new thing for us,
and I'm just so excited. There's so many opportunities in
this industry.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
There really is, And in my opinion, somebody like you
who has experience with working with groups from the minister's
side to the cookies side to the baking kit that
covers everyone, you're gonna be able to speak this to
people because it's his face it. There's a lot of
goers that are like, I don't want to touch that.
(30:46):
I don't want to touch CBD either, because it's that
cannabis plant. Yeah, and they don't realize how this is
going to help them and benefit them. And coming from
a gentleman who's tried it in his sixties, going dude, it,
I was injured. This is the reason why I tried it.
I didn't do it to get high. I didn't do
this to use it as a drug. I did it
as medication. I use it as medicine as well. I've
(31:06):
been sober twenty four plus years. I don't smoke sweed,
I don't drink, I don't do anything except use CBD products.
I use THC products on my body and as for
elements of hellness when I need it. But I don't
sit there and use it for recreational use. So somebody
like yourself who doesn't assume use it for recreational.
Speaker 3 (31:23):
Use either, we just don't. It's for a purpose exactly,
and we love that part.
Speaker 2 (31:28):
And I love that that's where you're at too, and
just agad like that's where I'm at too, right, So
I don't do it like that. So that being sare
question number two, what is your favorite way to use
this beautiful plant?
Speaker 3 (31:37):
Well, it's going to be our mixtures and so forth
that we've got, but I think for me it's been
the salves and that stuff. This really helped me more
than anything. We've got a beverage enhancer that'll be easy
for me to wake up in the morning.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
And so you're just making your own stuff off at
this point.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
Yeah, right now, I like this.
Speaker 2 (31:55):
Let's figure out how to make it ourselves and use it.
Sell it and everything.
Speaker 3 (31:58):
We're engineering a a protein mix that's got this, you know,
the best of the best in terms of ingredients. The
guys in Houston do an amazing job of coming up
that stuff. So we've got probably ten fifteen products that
are in line. But we just didn't want to come
up with another tincture or you know, there's plenty of
that that's out there. We really wanted to carve niches
that really spoke to people's needs, especially in that forty
(32:19):
and up crowd.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
Is this the first bats I've seen with an instant
that has CBD? I've never seen anything like this in
the market.
Speaker 4 (32:26):
I haven't seen any either.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
Right, I've not seen this. This is like the first
of it's kind that i've And we see a lot
of products here. Yeah, you know a lot of people
are bringing us stuff, showing us stuff, telling us about stuff.
I've never seen a bag makes that you can get
of a brownie or a cookie that already has CBD
in it.
Speaker 3 (32:40):
We feel like we've got some exciting things. And by
the way, we're really impressed by what you guys are
doing here. Do you guys have carved this thing out?
I had no idea I thought this was gonna be
a nice little cooking show. But the engine that you
guys have built, we're really excited to build a partner
with you guys. We think it'll help make Mumbo a
real opportunity for people that really need.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
Well, we're an outlet that should be able to speak
your name and tasting the product that speaks for itself.
I'm not gonna sit here like I said, I'd say
this is pretty good. Okay, we'll be back after this.
If that was the case, well, thank you. I want
I've been sitting here going should I take this another
bite of the fast one? I cannot wait for the
staff to try it, but I go, I don't want
to have this brownie bits in my mouth as I'm
you know, going as you or not? Yeah, exactly, I'm
kind of you know. I'm glad you did that because.
Speaker 3 (33:22):
Now I can cut me a whole another piece.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
I'm gonna you, guys. I couldnot wait for everyone to
try this, just to get everyone's fatial reactions that I
work with. Question number three, where's the craziest place Manti
that you ever use cannabis? Because now that you're doing
the CBD mix and you're sitting there eating it. You're
out places where we've been like, oh, this is so
good to be here and nice and relaxed.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
Was my wife in the hotel room. That's all I'll
say about that.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
Well, there it is.
Speaker 3 (33:50):
She's right back there. Darling's my wife and we've been
married now for seven eight years. We were high school sweethearts.
I dumped her and forty years later we found each
other and she's the best thing going. Wow, she's been
the one that's been a slow rail. She's been rider,
but you know, it's a matter of trying to figure
(34:11):
out a lane and then really going for it.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
What high school did you guys go to?
Speaker 3 (34:14):
H She went to Andrews High School and now Pastor, Texas,
And I went to Parkland High.
Speaker 2 (34:18):
School in Texas as well.
Speaker 3 (34:20):
No, yeah, oh yeah, wow.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
So you guys are good Cowboy fans as.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
Well as a kid Jerry Jones came along. You know
that we're Bronco fans. Well, I'm a Bronco fan. She's
a still Cowboy.
Speaker 2 (34:33):
Fan, okay, and she's still part of the team, so
am I don't worry. I'm still a Cowboy even though
Jerry Jones that Jerry's world gets me bothered. Sometimes it's
funny you say that. Jerry bothers me to the point
where sometimes I wonder if I'm gonna be a fan
forever because of him. It's funny you say that question
number four, what are your go too muchies? After you
get high?
Speaker 3 (34:52):
You know, first of all, Joe, I don't get high, okay, okay,
I get relaxed.
Speaker 2 (34:57):
So after you get relaxed, what do you like to entake?
Speaker 3 (35:00):
What do you mean intake?
Speaker 2 (35:01):
What are your munchies? Your your munchies that you go
to burgers?
Speaker 3 (35:06):
Let's see cheetos?
Speaker 2 (35:09):
What kind of cheetos?
Speaker 3 (35:11):
The puffy kind? Mm hmmm uh. And let's see crossed flakes.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
Mantis, welcome to the stone world because you're right there
with all the good snacks. Now here's a good one
for Mantia's. You've been on the pulpit and everything else.
If you could, okay, let's just say you could, we
probably wouldn't. But if I could use cannabis, maybe smoke
whatever way have a brownie with someone dead are alive?
(35:41):
Who would I be?
Speaker 3 (35:42):
And why?
Speaker 2 (35:43):
Thank you? Teddy? I like the deep thought. This, there's
a good one.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
It'd be Jesus. I had a feeling when he was
walking on the earth because very few people have been
able to have a two thousand plus year influence what
he did on earth for thirty three years. That would
be a fascinating discussion. I would do that, not necessarily
as a holy, holy religious thing, but I like people
(36:10):
that can make an impact, not because of pride, not
because of how big and arrogant they are, but because
they really understand and care about people.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
Jesus is my go to as well, and I've always
been intrigued and I really am intrigued with the most
of the fact that he was never afraid to go
to the dark places. And when I say dark places,
where they had alcohol, where they had prostitution, where they
had the craziest because when I got saved, so to speak,
I had green hair, silver front, teeth, bleached eyebrows, and
(36:40):
I was a freak show, looking like, oh wow, would
he ever talk to a guy like me? And it's
like wow, now look at me twenty four years later,
and when people ask me who is yours, it's Jesus.
I mean, how could it not be. It's like one
of those guys you want to pick his brain about Oh,
you're going to go talk to these girls and these people,
and it makes me feel like when I go do
(37:00):
that and I'm not doing it to solicit I do
it to just talk and break bread and hang out,
and you know, and I'm the guy that still does that.
I see what, Hey, how you doing, like Joe? You
know those are yes, I do know that, And I'm
talking to them because I want to treat them like
they're normal people.
Speaker 3 (37:15):
I've always I've always felt like if you can respect
people and appreciate what they do, our world wouldn't be
so screwed up.
Speaker 2 (37:23):
Just respect people befo where they are it is. And
I respect you for coming on the show and preplaining
of your products. For those who want to try them out,
go to the websites, of course. It's mambolife dot com,
