Speaker 2 (03:22):
That's my niece, y'all. Oh, whoa whoa, whoa, whoa whoa?
Time out? Man? What'd that say? What that say? Back there?
Time out? Time out? Time out? Time out? Time out?
Time out? Time out? My niece? Look it up looking
at it, time out number ten? What that she got

(03:43):
on here? What do you say?

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Unapologetically me? She got unapologetically her? What by you, Barbie?

Speaker 2 (03:54):
That's me.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
That's more representation than me, you know, with that slogan,
unapologetically me is really high carried myself all my life.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
So I'm trying to understand angel Rees, sister. I'm with mine.
Ad whoa whoa whoa Wow, let your boy man get
a whoa whoa whoa.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Oh Joe, can I can I get something in peace?

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (04:19):
You're getting everything. You get, the wards you get, you get,
you got the liquor, you get the wards too. Yeah,
but they come to you first. And now she's sending
you jackets to that anger man. How let your boy
man send your boy something man. No, No, no, no, no, no,
your boy something man. Come on now, y'all. You gotta
you gotta do right now?

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Can you see that what they say? Angels? Yep?

Speaker 4 (04:42):
Yeah, man, come on man, sis, I'll let your boy.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Now what angel she over there?

Speaker 4 (04:50):
She over in Chicago, right yeah, listen, her name mad't
even buy you, Barbarie no more.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
She got a new name because she in Chicago now,
so her new name is big Reee. No no, I'm saying,
her new nickname is big Reas. But you got you
don't got to keep that. You don't understand.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
Hopefully she got that, uh she copyrighted. No, she in Chicago.
You not understanding, So you're missing the point. You you
missing the whole little Lingo she big Reees.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Now your question celements your question. So Devo should change
his name since he ain't in the South no more.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Huh.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
So I'm just saying, if she's in Chicago, that means
she's more she's more so of a resident of Chicago now,
so the name change has to go because by you,
Barbie doesn't float once you're in chyraq. So so she's
going from little Reice to she big Reas.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
It just makes sense, you, Barbie, that cat I mean
that they just grabs.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Catchy, but it ain't catchy in Chicago. That's what I'm
trying to explain to you.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
To guarantee you. That's how they're gonna refer to us.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
She got that name, yo, I changed the name. Her
name now is Big Reece, Okay, Big Reas.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
I mean she'll understand it. And the young folk on understanding.
You ain't gonna understand it because you you you old. Oh.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
I understand by you, Barbie. I think by you, Barbie,
you gotta understand. Like when you're coming out with merchandise,
right right, you gotta think. Okay, what's what's gonna resonate
when you hear? By you, Barbie, what you think? What's
the first name come of your man mind?

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Angel? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (06:19):
Yeah, but when you that's how you got you're talking
about a product.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Huh, listen, we know what else is gonna resonate?

Speaker 4 (06:25):
When you playing in Chicago and they got they go
Big Reece, they gonna know what it is right off back.
It's gonna flow real smooth.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
She understands chat the chat.

Speaker 5 (06:36):
Know what I'm talking about, the talking about it's not
gonna it doesn't sound.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
It doesn't sound. It doesn't sound like.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
You're not You're not understanding, baby, you got you gotta
you gotta you gotta catch up with the times.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
You you you know that old technology.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
NA buy you. Barbie resonates by you. Barbie is catchy.
You gotta have something that rolls off the tongue. You
gotta have something that when the people here, they automatically
think when you here in the in football, when you
hear the sheriff, how do you think of Peyton Manny?

Speaker 4 (07:10):
Right? But see, it's hard for me to explain it
to you in terms that you're gonna understand unless you
know the background about people in Chicago that have the
name and the name I'm referring to so big Reece.
It really makes sense based on her being in Chicago
at this time.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Now, it's gonna be hard. Ojo.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
I don't like that, you know. I don't think I'm
breaking a lot of news to anybody else. But I
was born in Chicago.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Wait a minute, hold, are you and you and GD
two with me and Obama? No? Okay, okay, let me know.
I ain't know you were born in Chicago.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
Okay, talking, I was, yes, Well, how you got way?
How you got way to the country.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Then the question is how my mom got way to Chicago?

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Now, my dad, my dad, brothers, well, they all were
they all from Redsville. They ended up going. You know, look,
during that time, you getting the hell out of the South.
It was a great migration. You went to Detroit, you
went to Chicago, you went to New York. You would
get the hell away from the South because of Jim Crow,

(08:12):
because of segregation, and you wanted at least some resemblance
of a chance to make it. So blacks were leaving
by the thousands. As soon as they graduated high school.
They're like, I'm leaving here by Hooker Crook. A lot
of men joined the military to get the hell away
from there, and a lot of them went because you know, Detroit,

(08:32):
the car, the automobile industry. New York was you know,
up and come and in Chicago. But they wanted to
get away from what the South had to offer. And
so my dad went there.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
My mom, my.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Mom had already had my sister. Hey, she's like, hell,
we going to Chicago. My mom went to New York
for a little while and ended up in Chicago. My
mom's still there. My mom's been there since nineteen off
and on. Basically she's been there since sixty two. So
my mom's been there over sixty year.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
So how often I never hear you really talk about Chicago.
How often do you visit Chicago in general? Or it's
just you don't really visit much, not often.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
Okay, yeah, my mom, my mom comes to my mom
comes to visit me.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
Because I don't know anything.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
I left when I was two, so I haven't really
have no connections.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
Yeah, right, nothing that really resonates with you. Nah nah nah, Yeah.
I never forget.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
Man, those those I'm saying, you know, I have extensive
I have extensive ties to Chicago, and I just I'm
just just the reflection and and when me and me
and Obama were younger back in those days, I mean
we had we had some good times. Obviously, went in
two different career paths, him obviously going on to be
the President of the United States and me going on
to the play in the NFL, and everything has come

(09:48):
full circle. And I just just seeing how far we've
come from where we started is committable on both parts.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
Yeah, A lot of people, a lot of a lot
of people, like like in the South Beach and born
on the side, you picked cotton, you did manual labor,
and you oh yeah, their cotton was big in the South. Hell, yeah,
you're not that old now, you know what I'm saying.
My parents, my parents, no, no, no, no, no, no time.

(10:16):
By the time I came along, there were no They
were no longer picking cotton by hand. They had machines
to pick the cotton. But back then they ain't have
no U were the machine. Your black ass were the machine.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Yeah. So all the.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
Things like I'm looking out how they how they do
all this stuff. I'm like, y'all got machines to play
all these crops, that stuff by hand?

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Yeah, yeah they listen.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
Technology came along and matter of fact, man, if you
think about it, think of how think of how every
think how everything is evolving now where AI?

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Not soon enough, not soon enough.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
But they got they got my black hands out in
them fields.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Yeah, this is the thing you're talking about. Not soon enough.

Speaker 4 (10:56):
But in a minute, ain't gonna be no job for
us because technology and computers and as taking off everything.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
So there's gonna be no need for the human in
a minute.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Well, they're gonna need my boy, and they can't. And
I ain't telling my jokes to the AI machine. I
ain't telling them. So he's all to have so much information,
but uh we got oh so that's what it was.
So Angel again, thank you so much. Best of luck
to you and a Camilla. The Twin Towers, the new
Twin Towers in.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
That's right, Cardoz are there too? Yeah yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
Man, somebody Angury Angury senor boy attacking man.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
I'm a large. I'm a large, Miss Cardos.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
If you got anything, matter of fact, you know what,
any w NBA players, I want to support you. If
you got any type of apparel, man, sending some my
po box. Uh, just high lets your boy.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
I'm a large. I'm well, I'm coming to the game.
You know, we gotta do.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
We gotta go to the games. We gotta go to
the games. Okay, we got to go to listen the people,
the people of the world in general.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
We need to support them.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
I'm definitely going to I'm definitely going to Las Vegas
Stacey game.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Yeah. I gotta see I gotta see h Asia Asia.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
Yeah, Chelsea the Open. So I'm definitely going. I'm definitely
going to a uh Las Vegas Stations game.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
So I want one question. I don't mean to jump
off topic.

Speaker 4 (12:16):
I know we talked about Angel reeson and then young
ladies in Chicago and the Aces.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
What do we need to do?

Speaker 4 (12:21):
Obviously you would know better than I am as far
as the pay, the pay, the pay to get the
pay up to where it should be, because I saw
obviously on Twitter what Caitlan Clark's pay would be this year.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
And come on, now, come on, man, come on.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Now, Well that's that's that that has to go with advertisers,
that has to go with sponsors, that that goes with
with television rights and things like that. There's a reason
why NFL because you know, you have to realize the
league is only twenty twenty plus years old. Yes, sir,
you know NFL didn't always make this money. MLB and
and and and NBA players didn't always make this money.
But as the television rights group, as you know, teams

(13:05):
expanded and sponsors and advertisers realize the reach that athletes have,
then advertiser, sponsors, television rights all of a sudden got
on because it's still live events is where it's at. Football,
mainly NFL, mainly NFL, especially in North America.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
But it's the live events.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
It's the football, the MLB, the n b A but
give the women time eventually they're gonna get there. Now,
they're not gonna make what the men make.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
Well, obviously it needs to be much much better than
what I That's that's gonna come.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
That's gonna come with advertising, that's gonna come with sponsorship,
that's gonna come with TV rights, and hopefully with this
new crop of women laying by Caitlyn Clark and Cameron
Bring and Rick uh uh Ri k Jackson, Rakia Jackson,
car Angel Rees, with those influx combined with what's already there.

(14:06):
Now you talk about Asia Wilson, you got a DT
you gotta breed Steward, you got a John Quell Jones,
you got it in that school, you got the you
got talent that's already there and confused with this new talent.
So hopefully they can build on the momentum that's been
generated over the last several years and it starts and
it starts growing.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
And also with the public, the eyes of viewership, the
people attending the games making sure the games sell out,
that that also helps as well as far as yeah
for sure, okay, okay, okay.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
Yeah, absolutely when it comes down there, but it comes
down to sponsorship. That comes down to the big the
big agencies, the big corporations wanting to be a part
of this, like they want to be a part of
the NFL, like they want to be a part of
the NBA, like they want to be a part of MLB.
And that's when the that's when the revenue grow. And
think about and also TV rights. There's the reason why

(15:00):
they added an extra game. You see what the NBA did.
They added a play in. So guess what we get?
We get three extra games? So we got to last night,
we got two tonight the losers both play again.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
So guess what we got.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
Three extra games? Boom advertising payer, I mean TV pay
for that. NFL what did they do? They used to
play twelve games, then they went to fourteen, then they
went to sixteenth. They added seventeen. Guess what it used
to be six playoff teams? They got seven baseball they
got to play in. You see how they do it.

(15:36):
You want more, you gotta give them more. So you
know they're trying to add teams to the WNBA.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
They have a team from here in Florida.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
But all things being equal, you know what needs to happen, Yes,
sir men talking women need to go take their ass
to the games. That's what needs to happen. Women need
to support women. Women are the biggest haters of women
breaking I ain't breaking news to nobody.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
I never thought about it. I know you didn't. Yeah,
that's what women need to go go to the game.

Speaker 5 (16:17):
Women, you think so even in their sport though I
meant they played the sport.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
I'm talking about women go sit, dance in the state
of or. I see what you mean.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
That's what I'm talking about, a matter of fact.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
Matter of fact.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
Think about this. Think about the turnout. I hate using
the comparison like this. Think about how the women come
out and droves when it's a Beyonce concert, what's the
Nicki Minaj's concert, or to make the Stallion concert. A
lot of us or any of those young ladies, they
if they got the same support and had that same
energy when it came to the w n b A,

(16:50):
things would be different.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
I know.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
I know one thing. I know what I'm doing this
year when they league start. I'm from the city hop
and go support it. Everybody, everybody from the w NBA
that sending me a jersey or a jacket, I'm going
to the game.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
Yeah, the jacket because you know what I What I
do is that you know what I.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
How you got the jacket? That's what I'm trying.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
Whoa, She's trying to sell merchandise? So what you do?

Speaker 2 (17:14):
You send it to me?

Speaker 1 (17:16):
What?

Speaker 2 (17:16):
Let mess your question? What is some?

Speaker 1 (17:18):
When Pharrell Williams took up as the creative director of
Louis Baton, who was the first athlete he gave stuff
to me?

Speaker 2 (17:24):
Ron James, Now I had it first. What you got?
Let me see? You want me show it to you? Yeah,
let me see it.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Let me see, let me see, let me see the
twenty twenty four stuff.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
Okay, hold on, hell I let me show you. I Lenna,
sho you a jacket? Real quick?

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Hold on, man, get out of here, man for real.
We wouldn't even there to die in no mess like that.
You look like you look like you standing on the
yard at Pelican Bay.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
What youre talking about? Boy? This this this Louis this Louis.

Speaker 4 (17:51):
Buiton twenty twenty five. This ain't even out hit what.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
You're talking about? And hopefully it don't come out. Hopefully
you have, hopefully you have the only sample piece.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Hey, you hold on, look you see the material? You
know what it is.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
Huh yeah, it's our packa alfalfa, no, our packa uh
now you can't you can't even get this this Hey
twenty twenty five thousand thousand plannel right here, our packa
uh no, hold on, let me put this back because

(18:24):
I got to put it back in the in the
in the glass case.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Yeah, the mouth love it, man.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
I thought you I thought you was bringing me out
something with that that was made of vaccuma.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
Oh no, that's but hey, listen, that's that's what vaccoon is.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
Who yeah, it thinks what's the name.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
What's the name vacoona? What's vaccoonia?

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Is very expensive material. The suits started. The suits started
at about twenty five thirty thousand.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Oh well, shoot that our pack I just showed you.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
Now you know what you can listen, you spin anything
on that, if you spill anything on.

Speaker 1 (19:08):
That, hey but if you but but if you think
about it, Old Joe, that's how it goes.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
Uh these be it Louis Baton or Gucci or Kipps.

Speaker 5 (19:21):
They go to the To be honest, the athlete said,
the most visible there your go yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
So so so nice, nis in it to a Uh,
you're gonna put this out there for me, she said,
putting this on gotcha, no problem?

Speaker 2 (19:35):
Wow?

Speaker 4 (19:36):
Uh p s A dear w NBA players, I'm chad.
I would love to wear your merch in public and
on nightcap.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
We're gonna get you. We're gonna get your We'll get
your jacket. Yeah. Now, I want everybody stuff. Now, I
want everybody stuff.

Speaker 4 (19:53):
If in exchange for your peril, I will be showing
up to a game to wear a course. I thank you.
I appreciate it, you said it. I pay for everything else.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
He purchase the league past. Oh you late. I've been
did that. I've been thirty seven bucks. I'm gonna get
I'm gonna get the league passed.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
I'ma be watching some games because, like I said, aces
of my team used to be the comments.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
But I know, I know, time out, time out, time out.
You're gonna jump away from l.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
A all the way to Vegas and you're a Laker fan.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
I used to look. I used to like the comments.
I like I like seeing your coop. I like coop
and swoops.

Speaker 4 (20:31):
Yeah cool and night Oh they were nice and they did.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Yeah, but you know Asia Asia with the Lady Game Corps,
so you.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
Know from right it's right. It's right. It's right, it's right,
that's right. So I gotta I gotta rock with I
gotta rock with them. But now with this new Asia
as Asian player, the two of the three, she's mailing four.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
Okay, okay, okay, So she'd be like she likes she's
basically like ad.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
Yeah, she'll play the five. But she her game has
expanded so much. She really wasn't a didn't shoot the three.
She can shoot the three. Now she got a mid
range shot, kind of like Breonna Stewart, Brinald Stewart. At
her game, she can shoot the three. She can take
your mid range pull up. She can play with a
back to the basket casket. That's why her and in
Asia they're the they're the two best players in the

(21:20):
w n b A because of the expansion, because of
how they have expanded their game. Yeah, oh yeah, they're unbelievable.
And you I love to see them. I love to
see them bang go, go head to head. So it's
it's a it's it's a great match up. The w
n b A is in great hand because as these
as these older players, the dt UH starts to move on.

(21:43):
You know, Asia is already settled in. Breonna Stewart is
already settled in. You got a next cool and now
you bring Caitlin Clark An Angel Rees and you bring
Cameron bring can you marry Kamilla Cardos? And you bring
these and you know they got full Wiley coming, and
they got other guys.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
Hey, Paige Becker is coming next year. Good hands, good man. Yeah, yeah,
I like that. I like that. Oh Joe, let's get
to the game tonight.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
The Philadelphia seventy sixers beat the Miami Heat in the
seven eight play in game, and now they're the number
seven seed and so now they will face the Knicks
on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
Nicholas Batun came up the.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
Bench, had a monster game with the season nine twenty
points on six may threes.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
Excuse me. Joel Embi led all.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
Scores with twenty three points on sixty seventeen shootings, fifteen rebounds,
five or sis. The Sixers, winning a halftime down fifty
one thirty nine, were constantly booed by the Philly faithful.
We know how the Philly fans are, and they had
twelve first half turnovers. Philly bench gotta going, led by Batun,
had thirty They had thirty six points to bench there,
led by Batoons twenty a pivotal block on he roll

(22:49):
late in the fourth quarter to seal the game. This
puts Affiliated to the playoff series is the number seven seed,
which is huge because it lefts them a boy the
Boston Celtics in the first round. The Knicks will be
a tough match up, no doubt. Jalen Bronson playing unbelievable.
They did get Mitchell Robinson back. Og came back, Ogobs back,
so this is gonna be a tough match up. According

(23:11):
to Shams, Jimmy Butler is fair to have suffered an
m c L injury and probably will miss the matchup.
Who would they play? They will playing Miami. He No,
the Miami doesn't. Played the Bulls because the Bulls won. No,
the Bulls won the Heat, played the Heat. Play the Bulls.

(23:31):
The Bulls beat the Hawks. The Hawks are eliminated.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Hawks out.

Speaker 4 (23:35):
Okay, okay, okay, you're right, you're right, right right, But listen,
I don't I don't think. I don't I don't think
knowing knowing Jimmy Butler, I don't know the extent of
his injury, but knowing him even even though it's the
m C. I know that's that's very very very important.
I don't I don't think he's gonna miss no time.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
He's gonna miss some time.

Speaker 4 (23:53):
If that's if it's the m C L that that
I think Shams is suggesting that's what it might be. Right,
he's not reporting that's what it is.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
Which one is it? Because because he continued playing. He
continued playing the rest of the game. But you know
how injuries are, sometimes you able to finish the game.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
That thing, that thing left. Yeah, yep, I've had tea,
I've had a teammate to play. He tourist ACL of
the first play on kickoff and played the rest of
the game.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
Whoa, it must have been a partial tear. You must.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Tour don't got of hell, Hey kept playing, taped it up,
told him to need her, but he'll be okay, finish
the game. AC done for the season. So tonight, let's
see Tyler Hero had twenty five. Bam out of Bayo

(24:48):
had ten, Jimmy Butler had nineteen. They got ten points
off the bench from Kevin Love and they got fifteen
off the bench.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
From their rookie Hoimi Hotkas Junior.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
But they cult in the that league because Nicholas between
came up the bench and he's made six.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
Cutting up from three. Man, I don't know, buddy, and
you know we didn't We didn't mean we. I'm talking
about we. Obviously. I'm from Miami, so I am a
Heat fan.

Speaker 4 (25:11):
For those that don't know, watching the game, I owe,
I thought I thought we had the game in hand.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
And the one thing that I've learned about the game
of basketball the times that I have watched it.

Speaker 4 (25:19):
I don't watch it very often, but obviously I'm locked
in and focused because it was a playing game.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
I'm like, oh, we goddamn. At the half, I'm like,
you know what, I'm good. I'm gonna go out here.

Speaker 4 (25:27):
I'm an smoke a cigar and listen to a little
bit of Frank Sinatra, and I'm gonna come back for
the fourth quarter because i know we're.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
Gonna be up. I come back and from the TV, well,
god damn, we down by two. I'm like, what the
hell happened?

Speaker 1 (25:41):
Now?

Speaker 4 (25:41):
Understand, the game of basketball is a game is a
game of runs. Yeah, I'm like, wre But where Buddy
come from? Buddy come from out of nowhere and obviously
wouldnt be not being as healthy and effective as we're
normally used to seeing him be when he's healthy.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
We're supposed to win this game.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
It's supposed to take advantage of him not being fully
healthy and not being as effective as he as he
normally is.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Well, they lose.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
Miami played a lot of zone because obviously you don't
have anybody to do anything with Joel and Bed, and
they forced them. They forced the Sixers to turn the
ball over a lot in the first half because they
was really stagnant. They were just standing around, like, Okay,
who's gonna do something. You've got to swing the ball.
Sometimes the balls got to touch the middle and then
go to the weak corner or the strong corner. So

(26:30):
but they were just standing around. Once they started moving
the balls, once they started, ay, everybody stopped standing around.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
Guys found creases, Guys. He shot.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
Nicholas Beatun was the biggest reason, because all of a
sudden he expanded it because he started shooting over the
top of the zone.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
And once he starts shooting like that, it pulls everything
else out.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Now you got the guarded yep, and now you can
now Joel and Bed is able to fight a little
creat But like I said, Joe is not He's not
healthy and that's very, very unfortunate. But he still was
able to give you twenty three fifteen, nine to ten
free throws. He gets to the free throw line a lot.
Kelly uber came on, played really well late in the game.

(27:12):
Tyreech Maxie was ty reevee MAXI h They're gonna need
a little bit more out of Tobias Harris if they
want to get past the next But I think this.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Is gonna be a great series.

Speaker 1 (27:21):
It has the potential to go at least six I'm
thinking probably seven games.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
Wait, what if who you got in that series? Man?

Speaker 1 (27:31):
For me, if if if joeln b was healthy, I
would take Joels. I would take the Sixers all the
way one percent. But you know what, because Steven A
is gonna take the Knicks, and I'm gonna try to
get a bet out of him, I'm gonna go.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
I ride with the Sixers. I rock with the Sixers.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
I like it.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
But but Jalen Brunson, well, I'm trying to think who's
gonna draw their sigmon On Brunson, probably, Kelly Ubra. Probably
they'll run Uber Jr. And Tobias Harris, because those those
are the best perimeter the defense.

Speaker 4 (28:00):
Oh Kyle Lowry, Kyle, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
no tough and listen, it's tough for everybody you just name.
And that's no disrespect to those young fellas. But we're
on the ISO game, pick game, even.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
He taking him off the dribble. In general, it's a
it's a skins.

Speaker 4 (28:17):
He's at a an advantage from a skill set perspective.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
I like I like the I like the lid of
Harris and oubre versus Kyle Lowry. Understand, Kyle Lowry is tough,
but I like six seven six eight six ' nine
possibly defend him as opposed to Kyle Lowry being more
his size. But obviously your eyes light up. Let y'all

(28:44):
got that little dude guard me yet?

Speaker 2 (28:45):
But then what happened?

Speaker 4 (28:47):
You put somebody six seven six y nine up there
against someone that's much faster and a little bit more skilled.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
He getting he getting round and through that anyway, now
unless you.

Speaker 1 (28:55):
Got hit well, I mean obviously, but you know you
got you got some two in there, you know, so
he can. He's still he's still a very good defender. Yeah, so,
but I think that's got how to do it. But
a Maxie is gonna have to have a phenomenal game,
and I think he's more than capable of.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
So I'm looking for a six or seven game series.
Uh and that one.

Speaker 1 (29:18):
But like at Shams's reporting, Jimmy Butler is fair to
have suffered an m CL injury. Remember he reported I
think he poured it last night that about zion and
hamstring and playing tomorrow night. So normally, look, o Joe,
you know when they start reporting injuries, now, they ain't
just pulling this stuff out the sky.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
So somebody okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, especially somebody like Shams.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
He knows what he's talking about on yeah okay, yeah. Yeah.
So seventy six Ers hold on to beat the Miami
Heat one o five, one oh four.

Speaker 1 (29:49):
They're the seventh seed, travel to New York take on
the two seed Nicks, led by Jaylen Brunsell, who had
a phenomenal year, should.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
Be an All NBA.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
It's gonna be very interesting because this is the first
year you don't have positions of All NBA. You take
the best five players, so you might have your kitchen
is gonna be the center, and you might have three guards.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
You might have shake Ilges, you might have Brunson, and
you might have.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
Luca, and then that leaves one spot for Jason Tatum,
Joannis or k d or Lebron. So it's gonna be very,
very interesting how this thing plays out because I'm interested
to see because it's gonna be the first time that
you might have three guards, because normally you have a
big a five, a three, and a four and a

(30:40):
point in a two.

Speaker 2 (30:42):
But now this says, hey, if.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
We got at the five best players are all bigs,
first Team All NBA, well here we come.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
So I'm interested to see who.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
Makes up because that goes a long way, because that
determines who gets the max deals. Oh, Jo, they you
know you're making it. You make an All NBA team,
you make an All defensive team with an MVP. So
now all of a sudden, the contractors worth two fifty,
all of a sudden goes to three fifty.

Speaker 2 (31:10):
So I'm interested to see how that plays out. In
the second game, Chicago, boy, that God damn Kobe That
God damn Kobe White.

Speaker 1 (31:21):
What Kobe White one thirty one, one sixteen over the
over the Hawks.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
Their season is over now.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
Chicago Bulls traveled to Miami to take on possibly probably
with out Jimmy Butler.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
To Miami heats uh. DeMar de Rozen had twenty two.

Speaker 1 (31:40):
Uh, Nikolabusovich had twenty four, Kobe White fifteen to twenty one,
three or seven from the three, nine of ten from
the free throw line forty two points. Carusso got stepped
on by Andre Drummond and six.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
And Desumo.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
Desumo had nineteen as they do a believable job, uh
trade coming back, didn't shoot the ball well from three,
Nigga neither the Bogdanovich Uh, and they lose one thirty sixteen.
But like you said, Kobe White had it going tonight
forty two points, nine rebounds, six or sist two steals

(32:16):
on seventy two percent field goal shooting. This did somebody
see you know what he did? He said, Hold on,
I know a guy who used to play in this
building that went to the school that I went to. Yeah,
you know what, maybe I have one of them. Old
Jorge Knight, listen.

Speaker 4 (32:31):
Perfect when opportunity presents itself, that's what happens when you
take advantage of it. Injury, I'm in showtime playing tournament.
What better way to shore up.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
It's a nice game for Kobe White. Now, what makes.

Speaker 4 (32:48):
Players from from stars and superstars is being able to
do what Kobe White did tonight and do it consistently.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
Can I consistently do it night in the night out?

Speaker 4 (32:58):
Maybe not that it's not maybe not forty summer night,
but you're getting that twenty five at thirty range and
do it consistently. Oh, yeah, they're gonna have to come
see you. They're gonna have to come see you.

Speaker 2 (33:11):
Yeah. Oh, Joe, he's gonna be in the running for
Most Improved. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
Uh. He had an unbelievable season. I think he averaged
right around twenty points a game. Obviously, Malik Monks is
gonna be in the running. Nobs Red for the for
the Minnesota Timberwolves. There a couple of other guys, uh,
Norman Powell uh for the Clippers.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
But Kobe White had a phenomenal season. He couldn't have
picked the better time. Isn't his contract? Isn't he up
for a contract or did he reside last year? Did
they extend him last year? But he played He played
absolutely unbelievable. That's what you need to have, you need
to come. Look, you count on Debo DEMARTI rozen normally
is gonna give you a phenomenal night. He's gonna give
you somewhere twenty somewhere in between twenty twenty five. You

(33:55):
know what you're gonna get with Booch voots of the
double double machine. He's gonna give you some were eighteen
to twenty double digit rebounds. So you know, I'm counting
on those guys. Now, you tell me that Kobe White
is gonna give me twenty five because he normally give
you nineteen to twenty what he normally have. Okay, so
he's on the contract. Yeah, but he wasn't he average

(34:17):
for the seats like twenty point twenty one, twenty point five,
but he was. He was right there around a twenty point.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
Score, but he doubled it, right, and so damn that's nice.
Nineteen point one. So I had nineteen twenty.

Speaker 1 (34:36):
But they got you know, they did an unbelievable job
tonight on limiting on Trey made him take some some
some very tough and contested shots. Jeant Murray played forty
six minutes, Hunter played forty two, Trey Young played forty three.

Speaker 2 (34:49):
Wow. You got to he't oh yeah, Goday, Hey, yeah,
you go home.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
Because Debo played forty four, Kobe White played forty three,
Desumo played already won, did a great job making it
tough on Trey because they started small. They started Desumo,
they started Caruso, they started Kobe White. The Bardner rose
in Bussovich right, and that was that was the combat.
The three guard lineup, Bugdanovich, John t Murray and Trey Young.

(35:17):
So that was that was that was, that was unbelievable.
Kobe White, he got to go in early and he
didn't cool off late.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
Damn. So they play your Miami heat. We're gonna we probably,
we're gonna were probably gonna win. You want to put
something on it? You you want to bet.

Speaker 4 (35:38):
I ain't even know gambling, man, But for this right now,
you know this is one thing. It all comes down
to coaching.

Speaker 1 (35:43):
Okay, man, you all talked me to death. You want
to be yes or no.

Speaker 4 (35:46):
Foscher is the best coach in the NBA because he
does the most with the least. Now, if you want
to be yes or put something on the flow fund,
put some on the float in, put some on the
flow make it light on yourself. Make make it light
on yourself. What pockets is deep?

Speaker 2 (36:00):
What you're trying to do? Talk to me? Whatever you
want a lot of yourself. Huh, what do you want? Come?
I'm waiting on you. You call it? You call it?
I mean you you talking like you?

Speaker 1 (36:10):
Like you?

Speaker 2 (36:11):
What? I don't?

Speaker 1 (36:13):
You know what? Take your glasses off right quick? Take
your glass all lucy eye. See that look right there,
that's what I want to be. Look on your face
when you lose.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
Nah, that want right there that I want right now? Hey,
but put that money up. Put that money up now.
I know, I know I don't like to spend, but hey,
come on now, talk to me.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
Put it on if you if you, if you put
it on, the guarantee you I'm gonna pick it up.

Speaker 2 (36:40):
Five hundred what fi dollar? Five hundred dollars?

Speaker 1 (36:43):
Oh bet put your man fire hundred coming like I
want to do that?

Speaker 2 (36:50):
Like I come, I don't know about all that ain't nothing, man,
that's that's air Force one money. What you're trying to do?

Speaker 1 (36:57):
Talk to me, yo, I got great news for you
and you. Reese was watching. She said, okay, you fly, Chad,
I'm gonna send you one.

Speaker 2 (37:09):
Hey. He appreciate that. Big Reas. Appreciate that, and don't forget.
Don't forget. I gave you the nickname Big Reas when
it catch on.

Speaker 4 (37:16):
The Chicago Yeah no, I you mem and I'm wearing
my jackets of the game.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
I'm gonna sit court side in Chicago.

Speaker 1 (37:23):
Hey, he a a niece. Keep by you, Barbie. That
thing that's catching that real night, that real night. Guess
what they gonna come out with?

Speaker 2 (37:32):
A doll? Look your last Angelies?

Speaker 5 (37:35):
By you, Barbie, Oh, by you, Barbie A K Big Reasy.
That's what I'm talking about right there, jacket, Thank you,
thank you, thank you for watching.

Speaker 1 (37:48):
We appreciate that. And best of luck this year, your
rookie season, the w n B. I know you're gonna
do well.

Speaker 2 (37:55):
Don't forget that McDonald's.

Speaker 1 (37:56):
We saw, we saw you working on that. That three ball,
that trade ball. They look good too it. Keep it going,
keep it going.

Speaker 2 (38:04):
Don't forget your McDonald's.

Speaker 1 (38:06):
Nah nah, don't eat that book, don't do don't eat that,
don't need that. She's in training right now, she getting
ready for the season. That's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
That's what I did. You eat McDonald's to get ready
for the sea. It's all about preparation. No, it's time
for our first segment of the night, and it's a news.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
Cap news cap.

Speaker 2 (38:28):
News cap.

Speaker 1 (38:34):
Zion Williamson will not play in the Pelicans playing game
on Friday because of the hamstring injury. Zion brought his
best against Lebron and the Lakers last night, only for
the worst to happen once again. As the greatest he is,
how can the Pelican commit to a player who can't
stay on the floor. Various injuries had limited Ion, although
he played like seventy plus games this year. Yeah, and

(38:54):
the number one overall pick and he showed you last
night was a glimpse of why forty eleven.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
And five before he went out of the ball game. Yeah,
and he had it going.

Speaker 1 (39:04):
And five NBA seasons he's been limited to one hundred
and eighty four of a possible four hundred and ten games.

Speaker 2 (39:11):
Man boy at the Lake and eight, I was nervous.
Oh yeah, listen, if he listen. I watched the game. Now,
if Zion doesn't go out, if that Zion doesn't got
I don't know if the Lakers get away with that one,
Yeah don't.

Speaker 4 (39:26):
I don't know if they get they're nervous. That boy,
that boy playing some ball, you hear me, Yeah, he
was playing the ball. I'm and I heard some of
you just said when you were talking about how does
the team commit to someone who constantly continues to get injured?
You know how when you get performances like that before
you before he got injured, because how many people can
come in there, or how many players in the NBA

(39:47):
can come in in a playing game and just at
any point drop forty like it's nothing and do it
consistently independing strong, mid rain strong.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
I'm not sure how he is at the perimeter. I'm
not sure about that. Now, that's not his game. His
game is his game.

Speaker 4 (40:02):
Yeah, when when it comes to driving and the pain
a man playing it with it back to the basket,
Well he's special now.

Speaker 2 (40:10):
Oh he Oh, he's special.

Speaker 1 (40:12):
I mean the way he can contwart his body of
man that size and slithery, the way he can bounce
one bounced mister shot back back up again.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
He's very, very nimble.

Speaker 1 (40:22):
For a man that size. He's not supposed to be
able to move like he does at that side side.
God didn't make a whole lot of people like Zion Williams,
and he's a very very special talent. I think he
understands that some of that, you know, like I said,
a lot of these injuries OJO is because a man
his size is not supposed to be able to do
what he does. Yeah, you know, an eighteen wheeler is

(40:45):
not supposed to go out one hundred and fifty miles
an hour and stop like a smart car.

Speaker 2 (40:51):
That's what you're asking.

Speaker 1 (40:51):
You're asking a man that size to have that level
of explosiveness, up, down, up down, hundreds of.

Speaker 2 (40:59):
Time a night over an eighty two game season.

Speaker 4 (41:03):
Well, listen, he plays seventy this year, which is which
is really little, thank you, very good. So that means
he's doing something right. The team that he has around
him is doing something right now. The one thing that
worries me with the Pelicans going forward is obviously he
had a great game.

Speaker 2 (41:17):
He had forty eleven and I'm not sure what the
rebounds were, but forty eleven rebound, forty rebounds he had.

Speaker 1 (41:24):
He had forty points, eleven reboundsounds.

Speaker 2 (41:27):
Five assists.

Speaker 4 (41:27):
Okay, my bad, but Brandon Ingram and CD mccallums shot
a combined eight for twenty seven eight for twenty seven.
So what do they need to do to make sure
if Zion is out? That means them two got to
be on fire. Basically, they got to be at least
giving you twenty twenty twenty five apiece along with the

(41:49):
Cortan casts as well.

Speaker 1 (41:51):
CJ have him off night last night. Prior to that game,
he was scorching from the three point line. He was
shooting over the fifty percent from the three line pre
ball from the three point line over the last nine
seven eight games he was off b I just got
back Sunday.

Speaker 2 (42:10):
And so no, they got him on a minutes restriction.
Why would they do that? Wait?

Speaker 4 (42:16):
I mean I understand a minute restriction, but why would
you allow Why would you put them on a minute
restriction when the game is of.

Speaker 2 (42:22):
Importance like that?

Speaker 4 (42:26):
But now you got to play the Kings. So what
you what you're gonna do with him next? When it's
time to play the Kings? You just got you just
got to put him out there. The way to get
back is by playing basketball or any sport.

Speaker 1 (42:39):
Yeah, but you know the thing is with these see
you looking at it from a football perspective, Yes, sir,
they looking at it from a basketball perspective because what
we do in football, they say, you only gonna play
ex somebody, You're only gonna play one side of.

Speaker 2 (42:53):
The ball anyway, so you never want to.

Speaker 1 (42:55):
I mean occasionally they might say, okay, getting back, we're
gonna let you go.

Speaker 2 (42:58):
Twenty players, we're gonna let you go.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
But as a basketball player, I got you got to
go because guess what you're on offense and then you
got to go play defense.

Speaker 2 (43:07):
And they're saying, you know what, we rather have Brandon.

Speaker 1 (43:10):
And that's why they're very cautious with Zion because, like
you said, we saw what he's capable of doing. He's
a generational talent. We've got to keep him healthy as
we possibly can. But this was a freak injury. Think
about it. He goes up and dunks the ball. He's
coming down the court. He hears himself say hey, come
get me. He knows something immediately. Yeah, athletes know that

(43:32):
about it. He knew it immediately. As soon as he
start running up the court.

Speaker 2 (43:35):
What do you do?

Speaker 1 (43:36):
He throws his hand up, say come get me. They
came and got him, and that's what happened. So if
very very unfortunate, there's gonna be a very tall task
to be the very very talented Sacramento Kings Jan led
by de Fox darreon Fox Swiper. It's sensational, can get
to the basket, you can shoot the three mid range

(43:59):
or he's super super quick, so bonus double double King
Keegan Murray had an outstanding game last night shooting the
three ball. This is a very very difficult This is
a very dangerous team and without Zion and possibly be
I on a minutes restriction. Oh, it's gonna take herb
Jones and Trey Murphy the third and CJ. It's gonna

(44:21):
have to do. It's a lot of heavy lifted, a
lot of heavy lifted and grand theft Alvarado. He got
his head cut up with wife of Fox. Hey man,
he'd be putting the most skates.

Speaker 4 (44:34):
I mean, well shit, what hell when I think about it,
But where do you get the production from with Zion
being out So that mean Brent everything is on Brandon
Ingram is on CJ.

Speaker 2 (44:44):
McCollum.

Speaker 4 (44:45):
Well, they have to, damn there be so efficient from
the field and kind of make up for the lost
production with Zion.

Speaker 2 (44:51):
Being out right. But they can get hot. There's one
thing about them.

Speaker 1 (44:54):
They can get hot from the three, and they can
shoot you out the jail from the three, especially CJ.

Speaker 2 (44:59):
Tre and A herd Uh. And so they're gonna have
to rely a lot on the three ball.

Speaker 1 (45:04):
Uh, Valanchounas is gonna do and have to do a
hell of a job because the one thing about Sabonas
he will crash the board.

Speaker 2 (45:11):
And you can ill afford to give team second.

Speaker 1 (45:13):
Chance and so many cracks because eventually those shots are
gonna go in.

Speaker 2 (45:18):
Those second chance is gonna go in.

Speaker 1 (45:19):
So those second chance points starts to pile up as
the offensive rebounds start to pile up. So those they're
gonna have to be on their best effort, There's no
question about that. So that's what happens. They play tomorrow night, Right,
they play tomorrow night?

Speaker 2 (45:34):
Friday?

Speaker 1 (45:34):
Oh hell, I'm thinking tonight Thursday. They pay they played,
They played Friday night. And when do Miami Miami the
play Saturday? Yes, miam play Saturday. Okay, so that's it.
Huh both games of Friday, Hey man, what do you
call got shafted? Miami and Philly? They really got Uh

(45:59):
the NBA now House wherees that John tay Porter? I
did not know this, but He's the brother of Michael
Porter Junior for the Denver Nugget. Yes, that's his brother.
Has been banned for life from the league due to
his violation of gambling rules.

Speaker 2 (46:15):
John T. Murray got banned for life for twenty thousand dollars.
O Joe.

Speaker 1 (46:20):
In his NBA playing career, he made basically two point
four million in gambling on the NBA. He made about
twenty two thousand. You see what I say, Oh Joe,
you hustling back was Now you tell me the situation
where you say, you know what a check this out?
Oh Joe, bet bet two point four million for a
chance to win twenty two thousand.

Speaker 4 (46:43):
Man, I don't understand it. I don't understand it. I
think I think that's an addiction. I think that's an
addiction at that point. I think that's an addiction at
that point, when you're actually playing the game and betting
on the game that you're actually playing in. I can
see if it's betting on other sports or betting in
other areas or aspects of life, Yes, bet on but
your own games that you're playing in just to earn

(47:04):
a little extra. Now, I understand in a sense, I
want to see it from his perspective, as far as
you know what.

Speaker 2 (47:10):
I don't make it.

Speaker 4 (47:11):
I don't make it about y'all. I don't make enough.
I don't make as much money as some of these
other other foods are making. And I need I need
a little extra on the side.

Speaker 2 (47:18):
Okay, guess what You're not gonna be making nothing of
what they're making now.

Speaker 1 (47:22):
Oh, yes, what you're gonna be doing. You about to
go get your record, You about to go. Nothing wrong
with that. But people go look at you like you
got to be the biggest damn food because you made
two point four visions and you lost your entire career
for twenty two thousand.

Speaker 2 (47:36):
Yeah, right a bout that? How big a food much
you be? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (47:40):
Matter of fact, you talk about two point four? Slice
that in half, two baby, okay, one to slice that
in in half?

Speaker 2 (47:47):
Well, how about you we take it off the twenty
How much do we take it off there? Twenty two?
Cause you gotta pay for tackle on that too. How
much do we sliced without that?

Speaker 4 (47:55):
You know what's funny, It's bad. It's bad all the
way around. Either way, it's bad all the way around.
I mean him actually gambling and obviously you know the
reason why he was doing it. It's only because he wasn't.

Speaker 2 (48:08):
That's ridiculous, man, it's the three Oh, it's the thrill.
Why you think?

Speaker 1 (48:12):
Why you why you think Michael Jordan gold and bet
one hundred thousand a hand he wasn't too big because
the only thing, the only thing that gives you that
rush of the sport that you played is that because
this like you don't know what's gonna happen, you like
you sitting on Hey, you you playing black jack?

Speaker 2 (48:33):
You wait?

Speaker 1 (48:34):
Okay, they put that, they put that face card up.
Come on, come on, as come on days, come.

Speaker 2 (48:41):
On, give it to me. That's the only thing that
gives you that rush, right right, bro?

Speaker 1 (48:49):
Man, that's make it make sense if people stop stop saying,
well they have gambling, they bet, you can't.

Speaker 2 (49:01):
You can't bet there.

Speaker 1 (49:03):
I don't know what it was, but when I was
in there, they had a big sign right when you
walked into the room.

Speaker 2 (49:09):
No gambling, Yeah, no gambling. Yeah you want to bet
on the ponies?

Speaker 1 (49:16):
You would don't bet on football if you're a football player.
Don't bet on basketball if you're an NBA player.

Speaker 2 (49:22):
How hard is that to comprehend? I mean people. You
know what people.

Speaker 1 (49:29):
People, People drive me crazy when they say stuff, well
they got gambling and they lotty, well will stop having
these parties? Stop stop?

Speaker 2 (49:40):
Yeah, listen. I mean of course the public is going
to make excuses for him.

Speaker 4 (49:44):
It's about we have sponsorship, we have deals, we have
all this, all these other things that are going on.
But as players, if they say you can't gamble, you
can't gamble. And I don't think it starts now. I
think the gambling stems from you doing it long before
you even made it, long before you even made it.
Because anything that's an addiction when you get to the
pinnacle of your childhood dream, you made it to the NBA,

(50:07):
you made it to the NFL or whatever sport you
might play. If it says there is no gambling, it
should be very easy not to gamble. It's the fact
that at this point, even though you made it now,
it's become an addiction that started long before you even
made it.

Speaker 2 (50:24):
That's the I think. I think that's the problem. Ojo.

Speaker 1 (50:28):
We all did stuff, I mean shop lifted, stole or
something damn damn. But you know, but you know, but
you know, when you got to be an adult, you
can't go in the stores and shop lifts. You know,
you can't take things. So this notion what he had
this No, he did not have this problem because he
ain't had no money.

Speaker 2 (50:49):
What gambling on? Well, you know you to play small,
get like me with the quarters. You know you got.

Speaker 1 (50:56):
Get like rest of American go out and get another job.

Speaker 2 (50:58):
Would you have to do that? I have to get
like he talking about, Right, that's what you're talking about.
Matter of fact, hold on, did y'all play that when
you was little? Remember the quarters? Get like me? Y'all
might have had a different name for it, though. Yeah, yeah,
we play ahead, we flip the court, get like me. Yeah, okay,
okay oko, Yeah for sure. I'm like, bro, that's what
I don't That's what I don't getting.

Speaker 1 (51:16):
I said to say, people got them saying to me
what I said about Calvin really and I'm glad he
was able to come back, right and you know he
got it, But I'm like, bro, think about this. He
lost the level million one year to try to win
fifteen hundred two thousand dollars.

Speaker 2 (51:35):
Do y'all understand a level?

Speaker 1 (51:38):
So if I gave it Chad, if I gave you
ten eleven million dollars. I can hear the level million,
but I want you to wager to try to win
twenty five hundred, to try to win three thousand. Y'all
will look at me like I'm a damn food. So
how y'all looking at these NB these professional athletes that
know they can't gamble make the ton of money that

(52:00):
they're making. O Joe even if he's making how many
people in the real world you think is gonna make
two point four million dollars in their lifetime. He's made
that on a couple of years, so nobody's gonna have
empathy for him. Yeah, I'm gonna give somebody. I'm gonna
give the chat eleven million dollars. Now, I need you

(52:22):
guys to wager that to try to win three thousand.

Speaker 2 (52:25):
You know what I like, y'all. I want you to
you know what.

Speaker 1 (52:28):
I like y'all so much. I want you to put
your ten to eleven million up to try to win
one hundred thousand. How big of a food must you be?

Speaker 2 (52:38):
Yeah? You know what times when you have fans, dude
can't get O Joe.

Speaker 1 (52:44):
He says you can't, and you gonna bet you take
the under you betting on your own team at least
that you know. I don't want no part of this. Yeah,
I don't want to he bet. Oh, you take the over,
take thee and if the guy give it the information
to he won one point eight, he won twenty two thousand.
You lost your career giving somebody else some information.

Speaker 2 (53:05):
And guess what. The bookie dived him out, He said,
he telling me what the game that he will hurt?

Speaker 1 (53:11):
What?

Speaker 2 (53:11):
What reported the bookie snitched on him?

Speaker 1 (53:16):
Boy, with them fans come, they'll make you tell him
everything they need to know all sod security know?

Speaker 2 (53:22):
Oh did you're damn right? Or they pinched him? Okay, okay, okay,
I said more than pinch him.

Speaker 1 (53:29):
Fifteen. Oh but he Herry is his name is, Yes, sir,
they can do that. I'm gonna tell him everything I
was say. Let me tell y'all what happened when Ojoe
was in the third grade. This this that we had
this teacher named miss Thompson. He flatted her tires you
you know what. I would tell him everything they need
to know.

Speaker 2 (53:45):
Hold on fifteen what they threaten him with? Fifteen what yields? Oh?

Speaker 1 (53:51):
And then well I can't Hey, Oh try I saw
that God had a homeboy. He told the judge gave
twenty five years. He said, Judge, I can't do all
that time.

Speaker 2 (53:58):
The judge told him, say do what you can.

Speaker 1 (54:01):
I don't know how much are you gonna do, but
do what you can't. I can't do, Judge, I can't
do all that time. The judge told him, do what
you can't. Whatever you could do this that, just do that.

Speaker 2 (54:19):
Hey, hey, hey, that's that's funny. Now that's that's that's funny.
Just do it, Just do it, Just do it. Just
do what you can. Do what you can. Oh, Joe,
But I don't get I don't get people. I don't listen.

Speaker 4 (54:35):
It's one thing about it. We love to do things
that are illegal in life in general. We never think
about the consequences. We always think we're gonna be able
to get away with it, or we're always in a
position where we somewhat feel invisible based on the opplic
the occupations that we have because we got money. You
think invisible. But boy, when your uncle uncle, when you
get in trouble and you're in front of them people

(54:58):
and they start ringing off them years. Matter of fact,
they don't even tell you in years. They tell you
in months. They take you to tell you months. They
tell you month's purposely, so it don't seem like that
long until you add that shit up.

Speaker 1 (55:08):
Yeah, oh, I got two hundred and forty months. There
ain't no time I could do all that time. Man
add had another homeboy. He got two hundred and forty months,
O Joe, Yeah, like that ain't nothing. She's like, hold on,
he started counting, right for they twelve months in a year?

Speaker 2 (55:25):
Yeah, ten years.

Speaker 1 (55:26):
That's one hundred and twenty months. Okay, we're gonna compound
that as twenty years.

Speaker 2 (55:30):
He fainted.

Speaker 1 (55:31):
Yeah yeah, told to just say tend them when you
wake up. He still got two and forty months. He
ain't changing, That's what I'm saying, Ojo, What did I
tell you? Two people can keep a secret. Yeah, well
I've got to be dead. Oh yeah, that bookie knew something.

Speaker 2 (55:50):
How you think that?

Speaker 1 (55:51):
How you think they found out about show hell Toney's situation.
FBI was investigating the bookie.

Speaker 2 (55:57):
Guess what, sure? How many how many years you're gonna
take off? Mind? I can do? How many years I
get probation? And what I need to do? Man, dude
came in here. Let me tell you what it was
A wins. Oh, let me tell you what he He
came here wins at by four o'clock telling it.

Speaker 1 (56:19):
At all everything faint. As a matter of fact, I
know it's source of security number.

Speaker 2 (56:27):
Wrote it down. Yeah yeah, every time. That's that's he.

Speaker 1 (56:32):
When you come to me with something, if it's illegal,
Oh I don't want I don't want nothing to do
with that.

Speaker 2 (56:38):
Dam As a matter of fact, stop talking. M h
don't even talk to me about nothing of the league,
right mm hmm man.

Speaker 1 (56:48):
I had, oh try a homeboy. He done got pitched
and you know he ain't got no credit.

Speaker 2 (56:53):
But you know he wanted a a, I need you
to do this solid for him. I was like, what,
I'm gonna give you this cash?

Speaker 1 (57:02):
Oh whoa, whoa, whoa, and you go buy the car
for me. I said, oh no, oh no never, oh never.
Mm hmmm mm hmmmm, oh no, whoa. I could never.

(57:25):
Cause guess what. Guess what's gonna happen when he get pinched.
You're gonna say, your faith my cousin, my homeboy boy.

Speaker 2 (57:33):
Oh he playing in the NFL. You know my cousin,
you know my whome boy. No, your whole boy. Who
your sharp? Oh really? Yeah? Your tell you now you're
going down because I try to help him. Oh no,
I could never no, oh man. That one thing about it,

(57:59):
the streets of the people that do illegal stuff. They
always live by this cold. Snitching is so bad. Snitching
is this? Snitching is that? But as soon as you.

Speaker 4 (58:08):
In that room and it's cold and they throw them
numbers in front of you, everybody always telling.

Speaker 2 (58:16):
They could a day, they ain't gonna do no day.

Speaker 4 (58:22):
Huh.

Speaker 2 (58:25):
You could have never told me I could never do
nothing for you like that. No way one day. You
can't do one day. H mm hmmm. I don't know. Hey,
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (58:40):
I don't know. He outda Hey, I'd have been down there.
I'd have been down there. I ain't trying to go back.
I can't do no time, no bad hewn God, uncle,
they ain't number twenty four hours. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (58:55):
Hey.

Speaker 1 (58:56):
Think about how it was when you was COVID and
how people losing their mind. If you still could go outside,
you just couldn't go into.

Speaker 2 (59:05):
A public building. Right you was free. You could get
in your car, drive up and down ninety five sixteen empty.

Speaker 1 (59:14):
Imagine you can't go nowhere right and I got all
this money and oh oh, I could never do that.
O yo, please no it don't even come with me. Hey,
if it ain't on the up and up right, I
don't want no part of the
