Nicole Parton. In Georgia, the Sandy Springs Police discovered the
lifeless body of an eleven year old girl during a
welfare check, leading to the arrest of her mother on
murder charges. Authorities responded to the family's condo on Saturday
after receiving a concerning call from the girl's aunt, who

reported a threatening text message from Shannon Grimes, the girl's mother.
When officers arrived, they found Ms Grimes with her dead daughter,
stated Sergeant Leon mill Holland during an interview with news
Channel two. The identity of the young girl and details
surrounding her death have not yet been disclosed by investigators.

According to Fulton County jail records, Grimes has been charged
with two counts of murder, first degree cruelty to children
in evidence tampering. Residents of the Laurel Grove condo expressed
their shock upon seeing the police activity that morning. Brent Leu,
a neighbor, mentioned that he was unaware of the situation
until police told him not to leave the area due

I'm really actually really surprised because seemed to be a
really good mother. Grimes was taken into custody and subsequently
transported to a hospital for a medical assessment. Warrants have
been issued and detectives are continuing their discussions with miss Grimes.

in close proximity to the mother and daughter, this tragic
event has seemed deeply unsetting. I've seen this little girl around,

a disturbing text message which led her to alert authorities
to please conduct the welfare check on the child. Or

a teacher has confessed a stalking an eleven year old
girl from his class. Dylan Robert Dukes, twenty seven years old,

entered a guilty plea for first degree harassment and was
sentenced to three years in prison, followed by five years probation.
The Anderson County Sheriff's Office reported that Dukes bombarded the
young girl with over sixty love letters. Along with gifts
such as cards, gift cards, ornaments, photos, and plenty of
unwanted hugs which made the girl feel uneasy. Prior to

the summer break, the teacher from Star Elementary School presented
her with a customized box containing a letter for each
day of the week during summer break. Additionally, Dukes became
a member of the child's church after learning she would
no longer be attending his school. According to the Sheriff's office,
when detectives visited Duke's classroom to investigate, they discovered numerous

pictures of the girl in his desk. However, they clarified
these images were not sexual in nature. Dukes is also
required to undergo mental health counseling, forfeit his teachings license,
and comply with a permanent restraining order that prohibits any
contact with the victim. As stated by authorities and now
up to Ohio, authorities are searching for a missing fifteen

year old girl who disappeared early Sunday morning in Bridgeport,
Mackenzie Duval. She's fifteen. She was last seen at her
home on November sixteen. Investigators say they believe she left
on foot during the early morning hours of November seventeen,
and has not been seen or heard from since. Her
family reported her missing when she failed to return. She

has described as five five weighing about one hundred and
eighteen pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She has
a flower tattoo on her lower arm. She has black
