allegedly unleashed his evil on a fourteen year old girl,

a squalid RV in Vandelia, Illinois. The horrific details of
the brutal killing of his niece, Kylie Toberman, emerged in
charging documents against her step uncle, Arnold Rivera junior. Lisa Richards,
Kylie's paternal grandmother, spoke to NBC five News. We were

the disrespect to her body. It has never happened. Rivera,
forty three, faces first degree murder, aggravated criminal sexual assault,
and concealing a homicidal death. He's being held without bond
in the Fayette County Jail. The charges were unsealed after
Kylie's body was pulled from the derelict RV on Friday,

two days after her seven hour search gripped the tiny
town of seven thousand. The accused killer carried a rap sheet,
including burglary and criminal sexual abuse of a child between
the ages of nine and sixteen. In two thousand, both
charges were dropped in exchange for a guilty plea on
a separate case, where Rivera was charged with aggravated battery

in a public place, he served thirty months as part
of the deal, and Rivera was shockingly placed in care
of the victim and her two younger sisters. Authorities confirmed
the girls had been forced to sleep in a nearby
shed because Child Services had deemed the feces ridden RV

and the main house unfit for habitation. Investigators say Rivera
confessed chunks of the atrocity during a post arrest interrogation.
He detailed the sexual assault that erupted after Kylie rebuffed
his advances. When she fought back, he allegedly wrapped the
battery cables around her neck until she went limp. He

then dragged her remains to the RV and stashed the
body in the tote amid the trash. The search ended
in heartbreak last Friday, when the straight A students remains
were finally found. Rivera's subsequent panic flight, a desperate dash
through backyards, ended with a swat canine takedown blocks away.

Illinois DCFS, now under fire for green lighting the placement
despite Rivera's history, has launched a full audit. Kylie's mom,
Megan Zeller, whose custody was removed years ago, vowed to
fight until the monster is quote buried under the jail

hundred and ninety three pages of sexually graphic letters, drawings,
and photos, content the judge described from the bench as

discovered during a routine cell search in April, prompting her
immediate arrest by Kentucky State Police. The jury acquitted Bardon
of a more explosive charge, first degree wanton endangerment, for
allegedly soliciting the teen to murder her estranged husband, Michael Bardon,

with whom she shared custody of their young daughter. In
one intercepted letter, Barden wrote to the boy, quote, I
know you say you'll take care of him, but shouldn't
someone else do it to take the suspicion away from you?
