A landlord in Wisconsin is charged with two killings that
happened hours apart, with the second carried out in front
of the victim's autistic child. Prosecutors say the suspect is
fifty four year old Kevin Griffin of Milwaukee. They say
he confessed to killing his tenant, thirty nine year old
Terrence Wilder, and then killing thirty one year old Anaya

(00:22):
Raymond because she saw the first shooting. His bond is
set at half a million. Court records show the case
began with an argument on November fifth inside a home
near twelfth Street and Capital Drive. Prosecutors say Griffin was
trying to evict Wilder. They say he claimed Wilder was
in the midst of a drug deal, and they say
he quote just lost it and shot Wilder in his bedroom.

(00:42):
Wisn spoke with Wilder's mother and sister. This has been
my nightmare, my heal you stole something that did? Wasn't
your steal? Yeah? Do they desire that Raymond and her
young autistic son were in the room at the time.
Prosecutors say Griffin forced both into his car after the shooting,
They say, Raymond tried to defend herself with a knife

(01:03):
and mace. They say Griffin then shot her in front
of her son and drove off. Then he allegedly dumped
her body in an alley near forty first in Hampton.
Police found her child barefoot and alone near ninth in
Keith a short time later. Raymond's mother said she feared
the worst when her daughter did not answer her phone.
She said her grandson was found with blood on his
pants and no shoes. Our TV news partners at Fox

(01:26):
six Milwaukee spoke with witnesses near the first scene. I said,
somebody screaming. Do you hear that? I said, don't you
hear them screaming? When it was in a distance. That's
June Brown. She says the man killed was her landlord.
The sight of the crime scene shook her. My hearts
on my heart and seeing that makes new want to cry.

(01:49):
Police said Griffin later turned himself in. They said he
told West Alice police where officers could find the body.
He is barred from owning guns due to past felony cases.
Show Wilder had complained to the city about the unit
before his death. Inspectors had ordered Griffin to fix leaks,
a clog's drain and a back door. Wilder's mother says
she believes the killing was tied to that. Prosecutors say

(02:13):
both victims lived in units above Griffin. They say he
admitted to shooting Wilder and then shooting Raymond because she
was quoting the wrong place at the wrong time. Raymond's
family launched to GoFundMe for her son, raising two four
hundred dollars of a four thousand dollars goal. The page
says her mother is now caring for the grandson. Griffin
remains jailed. A court date is set for later this month.

Court records show the check was a tax refund in

(03:17):
the amount of twenty seven million, nine hundred and ten thousand,
six hundred and seventy six dollars and sixty nine cents
and was meant for a company in Richmond, Virginia. Agents
say the plan started on the fifth, when Villanueva reached
out to a man he thought was a banker. That
man was an undercover officer with the US Treasury Inspector
General for Tax Administration. Villanueva showed him photos and video

(03:39):
of the check. He said the company was closed. He
said the check was about to expire and he needed
help moving the money. He told the officer his cut
would be five point six million dollars and asked for
three bank accounts to hide the funds. The group set
up a meeting at a restaurant on November tenth. Villanueva
arrived first. Garcia came in next in an uber and
called himself David. Agent said he told the officer he

(04:01):

a business to help move the money. Boxy and Bedford
pulled up later in a white Maserati with Virginia tags.
Inside the restaurant, Boxy said he was an accountant. He
said he had bank and tax firm experience from his
work in Houston. The group spoke about placing three hundred
thousand to four hundred thousand dollars a day into new

to Bedford. Bedford walked out to the mazzi. He brought
back a white envelope and handed it to the undercover officer.
Inside was the check. At that point, agents with the
US Postal Inspection Service moved in. All four men were
taken into custody. They were booked into the Broward Sheriff's
Office Main Jail on behalf of the US Marshall Service.

(04:45):
A judge later set bond at one hundred thousand dollars
with a Nebia hold for Bedford, Boxy and Garcia. Villanueva's
bond was set at fifty thousand dollars with a Nebia hold.
A Nebbia hold means the court must see proof that
any bond money comes from a legal source. Federal records
do not yet show how the men got the check.
It's not clear if the Virginia company ever reported a

Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant.
