Speaker 1 (00:00):
Crime Alart hourly update, breaking crime news Now, I'm Jennifer Gould.
A pair of monster foster parents in North Dakota allegedly
beat their three year old special needs foster daughter to
death because the tiny girl took too long to chew
her food. According to cops, Jamie Johnson forty four and
Raymond Johnson, sixty two, are now charged with murder after

(00:24):
the child in their custody for just a few months died.
The little girl's biological mom, Dennette hunts Along, says her
two kids were put into foster care while she sawt
addiction treatment. Hunts Along tells iNews TV in an exclusive
interview she thought child Protective Services would keep an eye
on her kids. Take a listen, iphoned out. She told

(00:46):
me that they hadn't checked on him in a month,
and I was just a squabbergasted, because who doesn't check
on autistic kids in a month. Hunts Along was also
shocked to learn the child who had autism was regularly
beaten and terrorized for simple acts like crying or not
eating fast enough. Jamie Johnson docs say would reportedly fly
into violent rages over the three year old girl's eating habits.

(01:10):
Routinely unleashing closed fist punches. One of their other foster
children told investigators the girl would consistently get in trouble
for quote leaving food in her mouth end quote. Text
messages from Jamie reveal a chilling lack of empathy, according
to the arrest affidavit, with one saying quote, it's not easy.
I get pretty crabby sometimes and then I feel like

(01:33):
blank for it, she allegedly texted a friend end quote.
In another disturbing message, she called the vulnerable three year
old a quote unquote total brat, adding quote, Honestly, if
I knew how she was, I might not have taken
her end quote. She even claimed the girl would self
inflict injuries due to a learning disability, a complete lie,

(01:53):
investigators say. In March, the Johnsons brought the unresponsive child
to the hospital, claiming that she'd fallen downstairs days earlier,
but revelations from their other foster children and damning home
security camera footage blew their horrific cover. Wide open ring
camera footage from inside the house showed Jamie Johnson brutally

(02:14):
punching the three year old girl on the head, yanking
her by the hair, and slamming her head against the floor,
a table, and even a wall. Other video showed Jamie
hitting the child with a wooden spoon in the face, stomach,
and head and covering her mouth to stifle cries. Once
the child resisted biting her abuser's hand, which provoked several

(02:35):
more closed fist punches from the foster mom. The abuse
got so bad the children told investigators that Jamie once
beat the three year old until she passed out, forcing
them to revive her with an ice pack. Even Raymond Johnson,
ironically described as quote the nice one by these surviving
foster children, dished out cruel abuse. He allegedly kicked the

(02:55):
child and hit her in the head when he disapproved
of her behavior. The North the Code of Bureau of
Investigations probe revealed the girl's preliminary cause of death was
inflicted blunt force trauma of the head end quote ruled
a homicide. Jamie and Raymond Johnson each faced charges of murder,
child abuse, and domestic violence. They appeared in court whether

(03:17):
bond was set at one million dollars each. If convicted,
both face life in prison without parole. More Crime and
Justice news. After this, a night of sleep in a
luxurious Miami high rise erupts into an unspeakable nightmare when
a seventeen year old is brutally stabbed multiple times in

(03:39):
his own bed by an apparent stranger, who then plunged
to his own death from a neighboring skyscraper. Shortly afterwards,
Miami police swarmed the thirty fourth floor of the Icon
Brickle building around two sixteen in the morning, responding to
reports of a horrific stamping. Inside, they found the lifeless
body of Dominic Ferrell, a seventeen year old student from

(04:00):
Miami Beach Senior High found with multiple stab wounds. Ferrell,
known for his burgeoning dog walking business, was asleep when
the savage assault occurred. Another person also sleeping in the
apartment awoke during the attack, miraculously escaping harm. Ferrell's dad,
who'd been renting the condo a midst a divorce from
his wife, stumbled upon the gruesome aftermath. The suspect was

(04:22):
idd As Kyriel Kel, a twenty six year old Arizona
State University graduate with a background in the defense industry.
Police spokesperson Michael Vegas booked to CBS four News they
did not know each other. This is something at random.
This guy was just going apartment by apartment, trying to
open the doors or knocking on the doors. Surveillance footage

(04:44):
revealed Kell had loitered in the building's publicly accessible lobby,
then closely shadowed unsuspecting residents into an elevator bypassing keyfob access.
He rode to the forty seventh floor, then began a
terrifying descent, trying various apartment doors for any that might
be unlocked. He eventually made his way to the thirty

(05:05):
fourth floor, where he found Ferrell's front door unlatched, enabling
his fatal entry. Footage later showed Kel fling the condo,
rushing into a nearby construction site. Following a gruesome trail
of blood, officers tragically found Kell's body. He had died
from a fall, though investigators have not yet determined if
the plunge was accidental or intentional. Kel reportedly had a

(05:29):
documented history of mental illness, but the exact motive for
the killing remains elusive, with toxicology reports pending, and finally,
a spicy story. In Memphis, cops responded to a fiery
scene where a woman allegedly peppered her boyfriend with a
hot sauce bottle of all things. This condiment controversy went

(05:51):
down just before three in the morning on Cameron Street,
turning a quiet morning into a bottled brawl. The victim,
who was lying in bed with his dog his young daughter,
said his girlfriend went from verbally aggressive to full on saucy.
He got injuries to both hands trying to protect his kid.
Memphis's Finest arrived and quickly took the woman into custody. Thankfully,

(06:12):
the man and his daughter are okay. No word on
what got the unnamed woman all fired up in the
first place, but she is facing assault charges. Talk about
a hot mess. For the latest crime and Justice News
