Speaker 1 (00:00):
Crime Alart, hourly update, breaking crime news Now. I'm Nicoll
parton an unexpected interruption at the courthouse in the trial
against Sean Ditty Combs. Around eleven twenty am on Friday,
chaos erupted at the entrance of the Federal District Courthouse
in Lower Manhattan as Yay, the artist formerly known as
Kanye West, made his way inside the trial of Shawn

(00:23):
Comb's dressed in sunglasses and a white denim ensemble. Yay
was accompanied by Christian Combs, one of Shawancomb's sons. When
a reporter inquired if he was there to show support
to mister Combs, Yay confirmed with a nod, although he
only remained in the courthouse for about half an hour
and didn't enter the court room itself. For several months,

(00:44):
Yay has been among the few prominent celebrities publicly backing
mister Combs, who is currently facing charges related to sex
trafficking and racketeering. Conspiracy Prosecutors alleged that Diddy's employees, including
his security team, participated in a a criminal enterprise that
engaged in various crimes such as kidnapping and obstruction of justice.

(01:06):
Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Although his
visit was short, Yey's presence created quite a buzz within
the courthouse. Upon attempting to enter the twenty sixth floor
courtroom where mister Combs was on trial, Yay discovered he
wasn't on the approved list maintained by court officials, which
includes reporters and early arrivals. Consequently, he was directed to

(01:30):
an overflow room on the twenty third floor, which was
largely empty. Alongside Christian Combs and Charlotte Chi Finny, a
friend of mister Colmbs who has been present throughout the trial,
Yey viewed a closed circuit feed of the proceedings as
they resumed after a break. As a crowd began to form,
Yey decided to leave and took the elevator down. The

(01:51):
main exit on Pearl Street was congested with families celebrating
their naturalization, leading him to exit via Worth Street instead.
Surrounded by reporters and onlookers, he hopped into a black
Sedan and departed just before noon. Throughout Ditty's detention in
the Brooklyn jail leading up to the trial, he and
Yay have maintained contact. A leaked phone call from the

(02:13):
spring featured mister Combs encouraging Yay to create new music,
promising to reach out again. Recently, a song by Yay
entitled Diddy Free surface, featuring lyrics like not going to
sleep till we see Diddy Free. The twenty third day
of the trials started with a federal agent detailing the weapons, drugs,
and an abundance of lubricant confiscated from mister Combe's mansion

(02:36):
in Los Angeles during the raid in twenty twenty four.
As prosecutors displayed a map of mister Combe's expensive residence,
special Agent Andre Lemone from Homeland Security Investigations pointed where
the items had been discovered in the garage, a security room,
and mister Combe's master bedroom and closet, he said. Jurors

(02:57):
were shown images of numerous bottles of Johnson En Johnson
baby oil and astroglide lubricant. Agent Lahman testified that two
hundred bottles of baby oil and about nine hundred bottles
of astroglide were recovered during the raid. One particular image
displayed to the jurors showcased over a dozen bulk packaged
boxes of astroglide stacked in the garage, while agent Lahman,

(03:21):
who led the search and is part of the team
focusing on human trafficking cases, was asked during cross examination
by mister Comb's attorney, Mark Agnifilo if he had ever
seized lubricant in a previous search. He replied, it's only
been this one. Jurors also viewed images of six firearms
and their ammunition found in a security room, including rifles

(03:42):
as well as a glock pistol. Among the ammunition was
a large drum magazine containing fifty nine rounds of green
tip bullets, known for their ability to penetrate body armor.
Agent Lahmann testified that the serial number on one of
the firearms had been altered or removed. When questioned by
mister Agnifilo, Agent Lahmann admitted he was unsure if the

(04:03):
guns were located in a locked safe within the security
room when he arrived to inspect them. In the night
stands of mister Combe's bedroom and a nearby closet, agents
discovered drugs, including ketamine and MDMA. Following these seizures, which
also targeted mister Combe's Island mansion near Miami, one of
his lawyers condemned the raids as a gross misuse of

(04:25):
military level force more on the case against Shandi Die Coombs.
After this, Agent Lahman's testimony marked the longest uninterrupted stretch
of a single witness during the first five weeks of
mister Combe's trial. The day before, a woman referred to
as Jane had spent twenty four hours on the stand

(04:47):
over six days. During her detailed questioning, Jane's relationship with
mister Combs from twenty twenty one until his arrest in
September became a focal point, highlighting the central issue of
whether the two women he is accused of sex trafficking
were corhearsed or willingly engaged in encounters with Ditty and
the men they had hired for sex. Alongside Jane, mister

(05:09):
Combs is also accused of sex trafficking Cassandra Vterira, known
as Cassie, who had a long term on an off
relationship with him prior to his involvement with Jane. Under
questioning from both sides, Jane explained that she participated in
what she referred to as hotel Knights to please her boyfriend,
worrying that mister Combs would withdraw his financial support when

(05:31):
he began paying the ten thousand dollars monthly rent for
the home where she resides. However, the defense presented numerous
text messages and communications from the three year relationship, some
of which depicted Jane positively reflecting on hotel nights and
expressing affection toward Ditty afterward. For more, Here's Crime Online

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Nancy Jane Doe returning to the stand Comb's most recent
ex girlfriend, testifying that she agreed to repeat it sex
sex with to please him. She said she felt like
she was quote breaking all of her own boundaries just
to make him feel extremely loved. In the beginning, she
thought his requests were signs of trusts, she said, quote,
I didn't want him to feel judged. She described hotel

(06:14):
nights as carefully staged events, often set up to mimic cheating.
Combs would pretend to be out of town, Jane would
text an entertainer under his direction, asking for explicit pictures
and flirting with him. After the encounter, Colmbs liked to
watch videos of it while having sex with Jane after
the escort left. She said these nights became routine.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Jane said, He's just so good at showering me with
love and affection with all the sexual exploitation in between.
She testified. During her final questioning from the prosecution, she said, quote,
it's just so confusing. For more on the confusing case
