Speaker 1 (00:05):
Crime Stories with Nancy Grace. Hi, guys, Nancy Grace here
to tell you about an incredible new true crime documentary
series from all of us at Fox Nation. The documentary

(00:26):
is titled My Son Jeffrey, The Dahmer Family Takes. It's
a four part series and it charts the life of
the notorious serial killer and cannibal, Jeffrey Dahmer. And that
is what sets Dahmer apart from many other serial killers

(00:47):
we hear about them. There's Ted Bundy, There's bt K,
There's Long Island serial killer. The deed goes on and
on and on serial killers. This guy not only it's
a serial killer, he ate the evidence. The four part
docuseriies features exclusive and never before heard phone recordings, and

(01:11):
these recordings are between Jeffrey Dahmer, the cannibal serial killer,
and his father, Lionel. The calls were made when Jeffrey
Dahmer was behind bars in a prison cell. Now, as
you know, inmates can call out and there is a

(01:31):
constant recording going every x seconds or minutes saying you
are taking a call from a correctional institute. But this
is the father, Lionel, desperately trying to make sense of
the things his son has done, and Jeffrey Dahmer is
speaking candidly and openly to probably the only person in

(01:55):
the world he trusts, his father. This may truly be
the first real glimpse we get as to who is
Jeffrey Dahmer now practically speaking as a trial lawyer. Do
I care who Jeffrey Dahmer is? No, I don't care.
I don't care what his thoughts and dreams are. No.

(02:18):
But I have to admit I am curious. You know
how when you go to the zoo and you see
the snakes, the poisonous snakes behind a glass case. Yeah,
I look at them, but I don't want to get
in the case with them. I'm curious. I'm curious, And
this documentary answers so many questions, again possibly the first

(02:42):
real glimpse we get of Jeffrey Dahmer. The series features
unprecedented firsthand testimonies from Jeffrey Dahmer's childhood friends. This guy
actually had friends. Yes, former roommates, Yes, he had former
roommates that he did not kill and eat, neighbors, law

(03:03):
enforcement agents that work the case, and, in my mind,
most important, the people that were horribly affected by Dahmer's
crimes as a crime victim myself. I know it changes
your life forever. Can you imagine? Can you imagine your

(03:26):
son being sex assaulted, raped, murdered, and eaten by Jeffrey Dahmer.
You know, for gosh, well over a decade Dahmer raped,
murdered and cannibalized young men throughout Wisconsin and Ohio, seventeen

(03:50):
that we know of. And Dahmer is asked by his
father what his most disturbing and early all of the
fantasies were. You know, very often we opine that serial
killers are really born. In other words, they exhibit stereotypical

(04:14):
textbook behavior such as being cruel to other children, being
cruel to animals, torturing, killing animals, dissecting animals. It goes
all the way back to dissecting bugs before they get
to animals. What do we know about Jeffrey Dahmer. The

(04:41):
docuseries has truly unprecedented first hand accounts from people in
Dahmer's life, going all the way back to his childhood.
It also includes exclusive Dahmer family home movies. It's really
hard to imagine Jeffrey Dahmer caught as a little boy

(05:03):
going down a snow covered hell and a little sled
or in front of the Christmas tree. I almost don't
even want to think about that, but it's real. The
documentary includes the family home movies and a brand new
insight into one of the world's most notorious, most infamous killers.

(05:25):
I hope you join us to see my son Jeffrey
the Dahmer Family tapes. It's streaming now exclusively on Fox
Nation and now through October five. Sign up for three
months on Fox Nation for just a dollar ninety nine.
What Yes, three months for Fox Nation for a dollar

(05:49):
ninety nine, And you know what, I'm very proud to
be part of Fox Nation. There's such an incredible variety
of offerings on Fox Nation, from movies to stories about
Kevin Kostner and the Wild to of course my personal
favorite crime stories, and just so much more, including my

(06:14):
son Jeffrey. The Dahmer Family takes some of the facts
that many jurors would probably turn away from. Of course,
Dahmer has seventeen known victims, all male, between the ages
of fourteen and thirty three. Can you imagine that a
fourteen year old little boy being raped, murdered, and cannibalized

(06:40):
by Jeffrey Dahmer. He often used drug laced alcohol to
incapacitate his victims before killing them and then having sex
with their bodies. That's not a fact that's going to
help you sleep easy tonight. The murders were extremely brutal.
Dahmer once drilled a hole and one teen victim, Aaron

(07:02):
Lindsay's head, and poured hydrochloric acid into his head. One
victim escaped that we know of, Tracy Edwards, and led
police to Dahmer's apartment, where they found evidence of multiple murders.
It wasn't hard once they found him, because Jeff Dahmer

(07:23):
actually kept body parts, bones, polaroid photos off his victims
as what we call souvenirs. Like you and I, I'm
a big scrapbooker, I keep photo albums. He kept souvenirs
of his murder victims. Of course, jeff Dahmer was sentenced
to fifteen consecutive life sentences until uh oh, he was

(07:48):
beaten dead by a guy named Scarver. As I recall
at the Columbia Correctional Institute, my son, Jeffrey, my son, Jeffrey.
The Dahmer family takes only on Fox Nation, Nancy Gray

(08:11):
signing off goodbye friend,
