Today’s episode is in honor of my dear friend and brother, Kangol Kid, who just recently passed from his battle with colon cancer. Kangol was of course a legendary member of the groundbreaking hip-hop group, UTFO, who’s song Roxanne, Roxanne defined 1984 for me. But beyond that, Kangol was a great songwriter, incredible father, and an absolutely wonderful person who I’m so lucky to have called a friend.
We pieced together the best of his episodes on the show for you all, so please enjoy and join me in remembering him fondly today.
