Speaker 1 (00:00):
H h.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Hey, everyone is between the stream ran scene and you
are listening to Eyes up here with Dren from the
iHeart Radio Network, or we're reading podcast and look is
here to join me today. He's accent last time Pat
stars here.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
How are you doing, buddy, A party to the party party.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
How was your vacation away from me?

Speaker 3 (00:50):
I know I did. I did. Some might say I
was not really that far gone. It was.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
It was hard to be to be missing, but I
appreciate the week off. But you did a great job.
It was very entertaining to listen to the two of
you guys.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
It was entertaining. And if you missed it, go back
and listen. Me and Lewis, Rudy Angelie had a nice
little ec W chat and it's always fun when I
can get the boys on the show and talk some
uh talk, some wrastling.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
So although it was kind of hard to look at
that hat that whole time.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Phillies, Oh that hat, he's a Philly boy. Come on,
I'll tell you what. I had a free sports bet yesterday.
Oh and I bet the Phillies and they won six
to one and I won a hundred bucks.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
Hey look at you, Look at that, you know, broken
clock still right twice a day.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
So it's funny because I just did and and forgive
me because I don't know the name of their podcast,
but I just did JBL and Jerry Burr Skoo's podcast
right before I came on here with you. And we
were in a group text on the phone going over

(02:08):
some stuff and I had to give my address, my
email address, and and so it talks about poker in
my address and he's like, you like poker, JBL. He's like,
you like poker. I was like, yeah, like I love gambling.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Their podcast is called Stories with Briske.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
That's right, that's right. And and so my episode by
the time, oh, when you're listening to this, go over
to them afterwards and listen to that, but listen to
this first.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Yeah, to get through this one. Don't stop.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Keep going and show some love for me over there.
But uh, yeah, he's doing he's doing like baseball picks
and apparently he's really good at it. So I told
him that he should have a hotline and he goes
like me and Gene, I was like, yeah, charge the boys,
because now the boys are asked him for picks. I
was like, dude, I said, you can make so much
money if you just had your own line and you

(03:06):
gave out the Remember that guy from Las Vegas. He'd
be like, this is what you should do. He was
all kinds of crazy and he would be screaming into
your your monitors, like, call me down for my picks.
That's what that's what JBL should do.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
You can add me in there. I'll give you guys
some good tips.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
You got some good picks.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Yeah, sure, you can add me into that chat. I'll
be good.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
I doubt it.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
I'll be good to go.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
I doubt it. But yeah, that was a good time.
They're they're fun. In the beginning, I was like, I
don't know what we're going to talk about, but man,
we talked forever ninety minutes. That condo was flowing.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
JBL in ECW. What do you think could have been?

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Oh? Man, I think he would have been great. He's
tough as nails.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Oh yeah, Jerry Brisco, that's true. He'll stretch the ship
out of anybody.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
No.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
There, they're two man, men's men, man's man. They're man's man.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
In that context, I think you would say men, men's men.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Men's men. Yeah. I enjoyed. I enjoyed the conversation immensely,
so it was a lot of fun and looking forward
to seeing them at a show soon.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
So yeah, Bradshaw as JBL was the best champion I
ever saw live because they the fans hated him right,
and he did. I was in Philly and he did
some ceremony. They did this whole thing. The WWE production

(04:35):
crew came out, set up the ring, ice sculptures. They
had people sitting out by the ring in these white chairs.
It must have taken twenty five minutes and then set
this thing up and it.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Was so long.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
It was so freaking long, definitely edited for time on TV.
He got booed the whole freaking time, and he was
so awesome. I love him as champion.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Right, that's cool. Yeah, he's nice, like I said every
time I've encountered him. He was super nice. I said
to Jerry Jerry, because he was saying like, I'm so
glad I saw you at that convention so I can
get you on the show. I said, isn't that the
first time we met? And he goes, I think I
met you really quick and Gorilla at one night stand
and I was like, yeah, well we really didn't get

(05:19):
to converse, you know, and I asked him how he
looks so good at this age, and he said he
smokes a lot of weed.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Well he's honest, he was.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
That's when he said, I'm honest to him. Fall I said,
there you go, so anyway, good, it was a good talk.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
He's another one.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
I mean, had a full career, legendary career, and then
in that attitude era had a full second career, not
just as an executive, as a backstage worker, but as.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
An on air stooge for mister McMahon.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
And I just watched the clip the other night of
him getting dragged out to the ring by the neck
by the undertaker and getting the shit kicked out of him.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
And then he's still taking bumps at like, you know,
fifty five, sixty years old and getting slammed. I mean,
he was getting killed.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Yeah. Yeah, well I'm not doing that.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
It's out there for you.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Maybe out there, but yeah, I'm done. I'm done. I
had to talk with I'm not going to say who,
and I'm not going to say for what company, but
I had to talk with someone about possibly working for
one of the Feds. But I won't bump so Uh,
you know that's a factor. There's no payoff, so it

(06:37):
cannot come to fruition. And I was like, really, can
I just like be me? Can I just come and
then a cup promos and just hang out and back
Like now you got a I was like, huh no.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
Yeah, the w CW One Night Stand.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
That's exactly the big reunion show. That's it.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Speaking of big shows, let's get into it. Did you
see a backlash Viva la France.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
I saw elements of Backlash Viva la France that was incredible.
Now I forgot about it.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
I forgot that it was in France up until Friday night,
and I saw all this crap going on about these
start times twelve thirty in the afternoon Eastern time.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
I was like, what the hell?

Speaker 4 (07:26):
And I was like, oh my god, they're overseas. Yeah,
and then the next day, holy crap.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
The social media world exploded with the reactions.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Yeah. First of all, I watched the whole thing. You
know me, I'm I'm not watching wrestling these days. I
watched the whole TNA pay per view, I watched the
whole aw pay per view, and now I watched the
whole WWE Viva la France backlash.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Just let's say of your French, your French heritage you
wanted to tap into.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
My husband was like, you were watching paper viewer. I
was like, yeah, sure, and oh okay, why not Yea,
I wasn't watching anything. I said, yeah sure. First of all,
let me just say those fans were into it. When
you get a whole arena jumping up and down to
where the camera is doing this and the picture is

(08:26):
doing this, I'm shaking, by the way, for those listening,
that's amazing. It's amazing. They were, I mean everybody, like
everybody was tweeting USA take Notes, America take Notes on
how to be a fan. And I was just like, wow,
they were into it, man. They enjoyed every second of it.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Yeah, you know, it was cool.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
And in the beginning the first match, it was like
Kevin Owens and the New Orton came out and they
their entrances must have been eighteen minutes. They were letting
them milk it. The people like there was so much
electricity in that building that for the first match, And like,

(09:15):
because I said to my husband, I was like, Kevin
Owens has been standing in the walkway for four minutes. Now,
and he's kind of just like standing there, and I'm like,
is Randy in the bathroom? Like, what's happening? Why? You know?
I don't know if it was because the people were
so into it. They were singing everybody's theme songs like
it was. It was remarkable. That is how fans should be.

(09:39):
Really loved it. Yes, what is your beat? You are
the worst? What is your beef?

Speaker 3 (09:46):
It's a little much. Why it's too much? I just
want to watch the show.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
We're enjoying themselves.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
If that's how every crowd's going to be going forward,
I will absolutely never go to another show ever again.
Too much, it's distracting, no exacting.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
Because I just want to watch the match.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
I want to cheer in appropriate spots, to mute it.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
I commute it, Yeah, okay, sure, but I want to
watch it with the sound on like everybody else could.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
I don't understand.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
It was too much. It was too much.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
You're too much.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
It was too much.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
I don't get the singing of the theme songs of
every person now, I don't get it. The fan base
is changed absolutely again old man yelling at the cloud.
I know that's the way it is. But I know
that's the way it is. But it's it's just it's
a lot, it's too much.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
It was. Yes, it was impressive. They were into every
match and made parts of them exciting. But it was
a little much that ittle.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
No, I disagree. I thought it at it to the
uh the overall product. It just goes to show you
how appreciated that crowd was to have them there.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
Let me ask you, so, if you're there and you
got to think of like spots, you have to remember things.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
If the crowd's going that nuts, is that distracting?

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Is it distracting being called a crack whore when I'm
trying to think of a spot? Is it distracting that
I take it up the blah duda dud. I mean
you can, you can say whatever you want. It's the
same thing. Well, when you like that getting your heat,
is that distracting.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
That when you put it like that, I got no response.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
Now you can't have it. I got nothing because I
mean they they said shit to me the whole time
I was out there.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
So it's a great point. It's a great I got
absolutely nothing.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
I finally win an argument with you.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
No response.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
That is amazing.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
It was you know, it was a spectacle. I do
like them going outside of the States for these shows.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
The other countries one hundred percent deserved to see these
these performers live and experience these live events. The only
criticism that I think a lot of people have is
this is a glorified house show. There was nothing that
was going to happen outside of in the Bloodline match,
you got a debuted new member. The results of the
shows were pretty much you know, house show level results.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Well, they changed the.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
Belts in which match the girls? The girls match? Okay,
all right, so there was one that.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
They give that that that's That's one I wasn't privy
to because I did not follow that match.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
They put the belts on Jade and Bianca.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
Oh that's right, I did, Okay, I did see the
press conference coverage of that one. But outside of that,
you know, the Cody match with aj Styles, I mean,
there was some heavy talk coming out of that one,
but you knew Cody was going to walk out of
that one with the belt again.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
So before we started filming here you you critique that
you said there were some negativity towards Cody, did you hear?

Speaker 4 (13:00):
Yeah, Basically, he's in a in a kind of bad
situation where he's gonna win every feud because he made
his way up those ranks to finish. The story angle
was so deep and so long, and everybody was so
invested in it, we just expect Aj Styles is.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
Going to come in and beat him. No, everybody knew
he was going to win.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
So unless they stacked the deck against him in such
a massive way, every one of his programs is going
to be completely telegraphed. And people were saying that this
is kind of like, uh oh, you know, all right,
we wasted Aj Styles right away.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Three weeks into the guy's title.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Reign, AJ's contract almost uff. Not sure, Okay, I've heard
little rumblings that he's almost at the brink of retirement. Now.
I don't know how true that is either, But you.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
Know, he looks phenomenal.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
Oh my god, I said to my husband, I said,
when when did he transform into this gigantic monster of
human beings? I haven't seen I haven't watched them in
so long. He looks incredible.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
Yeah, chisels isn't the word to describe him.

Speaker 4 (14:11):
And there's a video I saw on ww's YouTube page
where he's kind of showing some of his transformation. He's
talking about those ice baths.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
Oh yeah, yeah yeah, and he does.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
That for like four minutes or something and talking about
how it shocks the nervous system and everything, and I
was like, good lord, if he can handle that, he's
no wonder he's transforming his body, because this guy could
handle anything.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
I can't even get into a cold shower. You want
me to go into an ice bath, That's like I've
always wanted to do that because I hear it does
wonderful things for your body. But good lord, man, as
cold shit, I can't do that. Overall, I thought the
pay per view was great. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed

(14:56):
the crowd. Not gonna lie I did. I just thought
they were so responsive to everything, whereas, uh, you weren't
here when I mentioned this. But comparing it to like
the TNA pay per view, TNA pay per View was great.
I loved it. I loved every match that was on

(15:17):
the card. Everybody worked really, really hard, but the fans
were dead. Oh yeah, no response.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
And that's that's what I was telling Lou.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
I was like, man, you guys are in Sin City,
Las Vegas. You know you think that they would be reality.
And he goes, it was so weird. He goes, I
agree with you, one hundred percent. He goes. The next night,
we taped in the same Palms, same building, he said,
and it was electric. He said. They were vocal, they
were loud, they were clapping and cheering and all this stuff.

(15:51):
I said, the pay per view is granted, a bigger
show than the TV taping. They were dead and I
was getting so pissed off because everybody was working so hard,
and that that irks me. You don't understand as a performer,
you're out there, you're giving it one hundred percent and
you're not getting a reaction and you could have did

(16:13):
the biggest move ever and they're just like sitting on
their hands, like, oh, you know what I mean, Like
that's annoying. So watching that and then watching this and
seeing how appreciative and how fun the fans were, I
admire that, and I think it added to the show
because I think the TNA show it took away from them.
It was such a shame, so many good spots and

(16:36):
golf clap and now it was just got it pissed
me off.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
Yeah, that's what a what a polar opposite.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
Uh, those that's the worst, especially in those smaller venues
where it looks it it just esthetically then looks like
they're killing themselves for nothing.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
You could hear spots being called like it was like
you can hear a pin drop at something. Yeah, you know,
there were times when the crowd picked up, like the
one match they brought out like a bag of tacks,
some tax and you know, the people were on their
feet from but you had to really do something to table.
You had to really really for this match, like the

(17:14):
Backlash pay per view, like they were just into everything,
and then when the bigger spots came, it was just
like deafening. They said they couldn't even hear each other
in Gorilla.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Wow, damn that. I mean, it was incredible. It absolutely was,
Like I said, just for me, it's a little much.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
Now.

Speaker 4 (17:31):
Another thing in the main event that was criticized was
the use of the burning hammer maneuver, which is basically
an inverted death valley driver ye may famous by Kent Takobashi,
who only used it a handful of times. Cody kicked
out at one and that's a very protected move. Aj
hits it on Cody kicks out at one that was

(17:54):
basically that move was trending on Twitter Bigger X because
it's not seen very often, and it was basically used
as like a almost like a transition into their next
round of spots. So that was another thing that was
kind of criticized in that main event.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
I get it like they could have built a better
program with with aj. AJ's great.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
Yeah, well, the match was really good. I thought they
worked really well together, you know what I mean. They
had some good spots in there, they had some good
false finishes. I enjoyed it. I knew Cody was going
to go over, like you said, I just knew it.
There was no way they were they were going to
take that belt off on this early. But Aj can

(18:36):
go like he he's been good for so many years though.
He's always been like a solid worker. He's always been consistent,
you know what I mean. And I just was shocked
by his body because I haven't seen him in so long,
and I was just like, damn, he looked like a
superhero like he did. Just looked like a superhero, looked great.

(19:02):
I don't know, I just enjoyed it. It was fun.
I like when I literally get to watch these things,
and I'm saying to myself, I'm digging it again because
then I remember why I was a fan in the
first place, you know. Yeah, So it was fun to watch.

(19:24):
I'm not gonna go and watch forty two hours of
wrestling a week, but if I get the opportunity to
use some stuff, I'll watch it. But I thought every
match was pretty solid. You know, it was good. It's
a good paper.

Speaker 4 (19:40):
I think we got to definitely sync up where I
watch it, you watch it, We do a full review
and we kind of see where we're at. Other things
on the show was Damian Priest. He retained jay Usso
I mean, how over was he? I did see that
trend and them doing the thing here, you know. Yea yeah,

(20:01):
but back to kind of the over exaggeration and stuff.
The other thing that I just, you know, you know me,
I'm a stickler with the announcing stuff.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
I mean, Michael Cole is just like he is so
over the.

Speaker 4 (20:14):
Top now and a different announcer than he was even
ten years ago when he was playing the Heel, maybe
even ten or twelve years ago. He's playing the Heel
and he was ripping everybody and Vince was in his
ear and telling him what to say. It's like he
just screams. Every clip I saw was Michael Cole yelling.
And now they're showing visuals and he's not even just yelling.

(20:35):
He's like running around the announced booth when he's yelling
these things. So he's yelling a move, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
I'm gonna bring I'll bring.

Speaker 3 (20:42):
One of the videos up. It's ridiculous what you see
him doing. Now.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
They had your girlfriend Samantha. Yeah, they showed a clip
and she got a roarring ovation for like three minutes straight.

Speaker 3 (20:56):
I'm sure she did.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
She didn't know they did. I saw it. I saw
it on I didn't see it on the main show.
I saw it on Twitter, Ricochet post. Is somebody retweet it?
Would he posted? And they announced her and she was
just standing there and they were just crazy screaming for her,
and she looked like she was taken aback, like very

(21:18):
touched by it. And the first person I thought it was.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
You, Hey, judging by some of those YouTube comments that
we still get all the time, I'm not the only one.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
Well, I'm not the only one.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
You're in the minority again though, because people.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
Love her, they love the scene stealer.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
Oh my god, you're serious.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
That's the greatest name. That might be one of my
greatest names I ever came up with. You're ridiculous, taking
me a second to type in Michael Cole behind.

Speaker 2 (21:50):
Me, Michael Cole, I mean, I I don't remember him
running around. I do remember seeing him announcing, and then
they let the Viva la France's announced team do a
couple of things because they were in France, which I
didn't know what the hell the guy was saying because
he's talking in French.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
So you know, I like when they used to have
Ray Rougeau on the Oh yeah, on the French announced team.
All right, here, I got one right here?

Speaker 2 (22:20):
Okay, so you can see it. Let's hear it.

Speaker 4 (22:24):
All right, here is Michael Cole.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Okay, God, keep show Michael Cole. I know he references
a lot to his age, Like when he messes up,
he's like, well, first of all, there's all right, somebody

(22:48):
is laying on the announced table, so you can't sit
at the announced team, okay. Second of all, he's just
reacting to what he's seeing.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
What okay, Now he's yeating.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
Okay, so what's wrong with that? He's having a good time.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
Call the goddamn match.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
Okay, you are the worst. You are the most boring.

Speaker 3 (23:12):
Call the goddamn match. Why the goddamn match?

Speaker 2 (23:16):
Why are you cursing because that because I said, but
the worst. Oh my god, there's nothing wrong with that.
I don't see anything wrong with what he's doing. He's
having a good time. Maybe they told him to be
more vocal.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
I'll try to see. There was another one too, where
he's you literally critique you.

Speaker 4 (23:36):
Yeah, I do talk good about me, talk bad about me.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
Just talk about me. You're the drizzling ship. You're you're boring.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
I get so.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
I saw you fighting with our YouTube friends.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
I will fight until the guy can't fight another one.
I get fight until the cows come. I literally thrive
on it.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
God, I said, I'm not touching the I notice this
is like in your fight, and I'm not saying a word.
So cause you know me, I'm up on those comments.
I am like right on them.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
But that one, I said, but I love that you
were watching all those shows. That's fantastic. Sure they bring
you back in, that's awesome, that's very cool.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
I you know, it's like I have so many friends
now that are on so many different brands that I'm like,
I want to see what's going on, and I want
to see what people are doing. And then I watch
like the first match, and I'm like, all right, let
me watch another one. Sometimes I have to watch them
in parts, you know, I don't have like two or
three hours to sit there, so like, aw, I think

(24:40):
we watched in two nights, but I watched the whole thing.
Like I just I'm curious as to what people are
doing now, you know, so if I have time, I'm
going to be watching some more stuff. It's enjoy It
was enjoyable to me.

Speaker 4 (24:54):
How about the new production quality that they've added, you like,
some of the new moves they've done to to the
WWE product. Give me an example, So there's a new
there's a new director since since Kevin Dunn left, and
he's added a lot of new elements to kind of
the way the camera work is. So yeah, so you'll

(25:16):
see in the entryway, you know, there's a lot of
different camera shots. There's a lot of crane shots, like
I saw specifically with the jay Uso entrance, the way
they switched to a different camera that.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
They I kind of isolated it.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
I think it was like almost like an eight K camera,
though they isolated his movement to kind of look a
little different.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
It was more, you know, oh, and what was I
I was told they're doing that for the video game.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
Yeah, yeah, that was it.

Speaker 2 (25:43):
Yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, they're using those shots for the
video game.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
It was that.

Speaker 4 (25:47):
There's also a thing where they're doing They're they're basically
doing these one shots where they'll start in the back
and the scene will literally transition from let's say it's
Dominic Mysterio talking to Raymistereo, and they'll finish their part
of the scene and then you know, Randy Orton walks by,
and then he starts whatever he's about to do, and
they follow him all the way out to the ring

(26:10):
into the way, and then it starts whatever's gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
Like Goldberg, like they used to do with Bill Goldberg.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
But it's like a transition. It's just like they do
it so seamlessly.

Speaker 4 (26:19):
Now it's fair, but this is this new initiative from
this new director. It's just it's slight little things that
have changed how the look is. And they stopped doing
those cuts, those insane camera cuts that Kevin Dunn was doing.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
I'll have to keep my eyes open, maybe because I
wasn't paying attention so much to the camera work, although
I did see the camera bouncing because the people were
dancing and jumping up and down and it was incredible.

Speaker 4 (26:55):
I'll tell you one show that I've been watching, and
it's the WWE.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
No, No, not Speed, it's the most Wanted Treasures on
A and E. I gotta say, if you.

Speaker 4 (27:10):
If you bingam all at once, you watch the YouTube books,
it's great, is it?

Speaker 3 (27:16):
If you don't, If you watch with commercials, it's probably horrible.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
Okay, watch it without it.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
It's fantastic.

Speaker 4 (27:20):
And it got me thinking about, if you know, we
were to send you out on one of those excursions,
what the hell to go find one of your like
old missing pieces of treasured here or something good.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
I don't even want to see what's on the DNA
that's on my dress.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
But that's what I was trying to think, right, So
some of the artifacts that they sent out for, they
were like, all right, go find Brett Hart's missing original
you know, hitman jacket, or go find Mankind's original you
know vest that he wore when he debuted his Mankind,
or go find Cane's mask when he transitioned from this.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
Cane to that cane. So it's like that kind of stuff.
So I'm like, all right, if we were.

Speaker 4 (28:01):
Going to send you out on a most wanted treasure hunt,
what will we go looking for? Is there one thing
in your career? So now what they're using these for
is these exhibits, right, the WWE Hall of Fame exhibit
or the WrestleMania whatever exhibit. What is it we could
go look for in the Francine memorabilia world that you

(28:25):
want to see again or possess again in some way,
shape or form.

Speaker 5 (28:30):
What what is it?

Speaker 3 (28:30):
What can we go find?

Speaker 2 (28:31):
Jesus, I don't know. I mean I just sold my
first couple was it last year or the year before?
My debut jeans? The one the cutoffs that I had
Stevie Richards, Okay, for the first time. I wouldn't even
know where to start, Like where do you how do

(28:53):
they even know who to track down? Like do they
put feelers out?

Speaker 3 (28:59):
I get they get they have to those networks.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Yeah, oh my god, because I have sold so much memorabilia,
like hundreds of outfits probably I've sold. I don't even
know who has what where, what cities, what they do
with it. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (29:18):
I don't have let's take that part out of it.
We don't want to think about it.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
The most amazing thing for me is when I sold
my ECW jacket, the jacket that only the boys had.
You had to be one of the boys or you know,
in the circle to get one of these jackets. And
I sold it to a man and then years and

(29:43):
years go by, years years years, It must have been
twenty years and he contacts me and says, do you
want your jacket back? Because I'm not I'm not holding
onto my memorabilia anymore. And I thought i'd offer it
to you back. And I was just like for free,
like what? And he's like, yeah, my name's embroidered in

(30:03):
this jacket. And he said he got a dry clean
sent it back to me, and then I sold it
again the second time.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
Oh that's hilarious. So would that be wanting to get
it back and sell it a third time?

Speaker 2 (30:17):
What are the odds though? Like somebody contacts you twenty
thirty years later and says, hey, I bought your jacket,
do you want it back? That was crazy that, Yeah,
I should have kept that Jock should have.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
Kept that, Joe.

Speaker 4 (30:32):
Maybe we'll go on the most wanted treasure hunt to
find the jacket.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
Somebody bought it already, but I have the one that
Brian gave me.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
That's true.

Speaker 4 (30:40):
How about can we go on the most wanted treasure
hunt to find the flannel pjs that you and Shane
had on at the King of the Hill of Battle royaljs.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
They were zoom zoom bud pants or whatever they're called.

Speaker 3 (30:52):
They looked likes they weren't pj's.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
They were black and white, checkered zoom buds Zuoma Zuma
zubez and a franchise shirt. I think I had one.

Speaker 4 (31:05):
How About an original Triple Threat shirt worn by somebody
had one.

Speaker 2 (31:08):
One a couple of weeks ago, one of our shit.

Speaker 3 (31:10):
Oh that's awesome.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
Yeah, somebody had one one, so.

Speaker 4 (31:15):
I'm saying, or maybe a how about a piece of
the original table that you went through.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
Oh you know what, I would like an original four
to sixty nine shirt.

Speaker 4 (31:24):
There you go, but one that like, maybe one that
you wore that I wore. Yeah, Like, let's get one back,
the original prototype shirt.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
Let's go find it.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
I don't know, road Trip, who would even have.

Speaker 4 (31:37):
That who told the story to us that they had
all the the excess roadkill?

Speaker 3 (31:44):
It was roadkill? That was it. That was I was
just listening to it. Who would have thought that the.

Speaker 4 (31:50):
Guy that ends up selling stuff online gets all the
excess merchandise.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
He's got everything. Man, I just want one of those shirts.
I don't think there's any left, but I would love
one of the original ones. And I sold it. I
sold my last one. Guess how much fifty bucks years.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
Ago gets so much more for that?

Speaker 2 (32:10):
Oh my God, tell me. I'm sick to my stomach.

Speaker 3 (32:13):
The original promo photos.

Speaker 4 (32:14):
I'm sure there's so many that they're that you could
just could have held on to some of them longer.

Speaker 3 (32:20):
I remember doing a show with Coco Beware.

Speaker 4 (32:22):
Had to be about twenty sixteen, and we're in his
hotel room and he opens up a bag and he's like,
do I need to bring my pictures to the show
And he shows them to me and they were original
WWF photos from ninety two of him and Owen Hart
from High Energy, and I was like, wow, I was.

Speaker 3 (32:41):
Like, are those original? He goes, yeah, he goes, they
gave half the stack to me and half the stack
to Owen.

Speaker 4 (32:46):
I was like, holy crap. I was like, do not
bring those to the show unless you want to sell
those for like one hundred dollars each. I was like,
those are unbelievable. And then afterwards, I was like, I
got to call this guy afterwards, I gotta get those
like those are ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
That you were going to say they were him and
his bird.

Speaker 4 (33:02):
No, no, no, it was not him and the bird
or the bird. Oh funny story about him that night.
Two well, two funny stories about him that night.

Speaker 3 (33:12):
I don't know if I.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
Want to Oh my god, you do this, I want
to punch you in the face. You're the world well.

Speaker 4 (33:16):
I mean he he he tried to pick up one
of the hotel maids while we were walking out of
the hotel.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
Yeah, and it was so bad. It was so bad.

Speaker 4 (33:27):
I just was like, I have to leave this place
before it was a story. But then so then he
called that the show itself. He called all the kids.

Speaker 3 (33:36):
In the ring to do the bird right, to do
the bird dance.

Speaker 1 (33:40):
Right.

Speaker 4 (33:42):
During the bird dance, the guy who owned the ring
runs out from backstage and going like this, like screaming
at him, like got the f out of the ring.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
What are you doing? Coco goes backstage and I see
the promoter going like this, yelling at him, and Coco's
he's cry. He goes, Vince McMahon never yelled at me
like this ever in my career. I can't believe you're
yelling at me in front of the boys.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
Why be could he let the kids in the ring?

Speaker 3 (34:10):
Has he let the kids in the ring? And the
insurance liability of letting children in the ring and Virginia
being so strict about licensing, and he made kocobe.

Speaker 2 (34:20):
War cry, that's sad.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
It's crazy, crazy night. And he wanted to pick up
the maid terrible and he didn't.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
Get any of that night anyway, great story, Hang.

Speaker 4 (34:29):
On, there's a Rick Flair story that's breaking right now,
right now.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (34:35):
The reason so Rick Flair's trending as we're recording this
because there's apparently an incident that happened at a restaurant.
And so it says the Rick Flair incident is exactly
how you would imagine it. A clearly ineviated Flair is
angry because he got cut off and he decided to
make a scene.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
He got cut off from the bar.

Speaker 3 (34:52):
I guess let's see.

Speaker 6 (34:54):
Okay, putting the place over and bring back family and
friends here.

Speaker 1 (35:05):
That is bad for you. Well watch those radio tomorrow.
I don't well you better.

Speaker 5 (35:14):
I don't talk about what's your name? That job, Nicholas,
what's your name?

Speaker 3 (35:19):
Job Nicholas, dickhead talk.

Speaker 5 (35:25):
You don't have to talk.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
You don't have to do this to me if you
lily my family. I didn't I wanted to bathroom.

Speaker 5 (35:37):
No, you're a kids.

Speaker 1 (35:40):
Really what world are you living?

Speaker 5 (35:42):
And what did that cost? Him?

Speaker 3 (35:50):
I think they said who did he say?

Speaker 1 (35:52):
Who?

Speaker 3 (35:52):
Who did I cost cost?

Speaker 6 (35:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (35:55):
Apparently somebody.

Speaker 5 (35:57):
I didn't say one cut word?

Speaker 7 (36:01):
Okay, he said he he attacked his child.

Speaker 1 (36:14):
Okay, I know you are the lead.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
I hope people can hear this. Here is the volume
better listening.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
He is, I can, I mean, I can stop it here.
If it's just getting me back and.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
Forth, please give yourself a thousand dollars tip.

Speaker 7 (36:42):
He's saying, Oh my goodness, thank you sir.

Speaker 2 (36:49):
This guy and I are cool.

Speaker 3 (36:53):
What that along comes Egyptian? Holy crap?

Speaker 2 (36:57):
Okay, oh jeez, what is happening? Oh yeah, oh man,
we're getting.

Speaker 3 (37:11):
Uh he's starting to do that.

Speaker 7 (37:13):
You have the pussy he said, what, oh boy.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
Oh, now a patron wants to fight Ric Flair hold
on his whole family's there? What is happening that lady's

(37:47):
seeing people?

Speaker 3 (37:49):
What the wow? I just watch man. He is messed up.

Speaker 2 (37:53):
You got to turn that up, can you?

Speaker 5 (37:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (37:55):
I get turned it up. He is he is as
we say.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
So he was in it looked like a diner.

Speaker 3 (38:06):
You know what it looks.

Speaker 4 (38:07):
I don't know if it's a diner as much as
maybe even like an outdoor bar with like a you know,
like one of those like seaside bars where it opens
up because it looks like in the back there's windows,
because there's a there's TVs above them, so it looks
like a bar ish, but like one that kind of
opens up.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
Okay, Well, wherever he was the I guess the owner
or the person working there said that he accosted. Is
that the use the word? He used? His child? His kid?

Speaker 3 (38:37):
He touched his child? Yeah, that was a little.

Speaker 2 (38:41):
So Rick said, I didn't touch anybody, and then he
called them a dip shit. And then then he started saying,
let's take it outside to where a man was just
sitting at the counter, and he said, I don't work here,
I'll take you outside ricaus. What did you just say?

Speaker 3 (39:02):
Yeah? He had no response for that one.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
Wow, okay, and then he gave a thousand dollars tip
to the girl, which she was probably like.

Speaker 4 (39:09):
What she said, I'll give you a thousand dollars tip
if you tell him to kiss my ass?

Speaker 3 (39:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (39:15):
I would have said, sir, h kiss his ass place.

Speaker 4 (39:19):
I would have been like, no offense, no offense. Don't
don't believe he kiss my ass? Kiss my Ask this here?
This this tweet here says I'm the manwere is it?
I'm the manager.

Speaker 3 (39:30):
Oh? I stopped sharing it.

Speaker 2 (39:31):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (39:33):
There's a little bit more.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
What happened.

Speaker 3 (39:34):
I did not know anything about this.

Speaker 2 (39:38):
He's a.

Speaker 4 (39:41):
I'm the manager of Paisano's SFP sister location off archer.

Speaker 3 (39:46):
Mister Flair was being drunken disorderly.

Speaker 4 (39:49):
He wooed directly into a blind grandmother's face. After being confronted,
he picked up furniture and swung it menacingly. We love Rick,
but he he was boogered, meaning I guess drunk.

Speaker 2 (40:03):
He wooed in a blind grandmother's face.

Speaker 3 (40:07):
So all right, so get the picture.

Speaker 4 (40:09):
The blind grandma with her walking stick, is walking and
he just went up again. He's doing the brick Flair
thing and he just went, oh whoo, right, is that
the picture you got too?

Speaker 2 (40:34):
That's terrible. First of all, he probably scared the shit
out of her if she can't see the poor thing.
Oh my god, I'm done.

Speaker 3 (40:45):
I mean, like, seriously, what else?

Speaker 2 (40:46):
Could There have been many tweets about it?

Speaker 3 (40:49):
Holy, let me look at it. Look at all this
Look there is a million of them.

Speaker 2 (40:53):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (40:56):
And over on Rick Flair's Twitter, he has Beware of
the Black Scorpion.

Speaker 2 (41:00):
Whoo woo. Okay, WrestleMania forty one announcement Las Vegas?

Speaker 3 (41:09):
About that?

Speaker 2 (41:10):
How about it's Easter Sunday?

Speaker 3 (41:12):
Oh is it really?

Speaker 2 (41:14):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (41:14):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (41:16):
So I'm in church. Yes, I go to church. People
don't judge me. I'm in church and I get a
text message from Betty We're going to Vegas, all excited, right,
and then the next one, Oh, it's Easter weekend and
I and I don't like to text back in church

(41:38):
because I'm busy praying to the Lord. But I was like,
what what Easter weekend? What are you talking about? And
then bamby from More he was bringing us In was like, Yay,
we got our wish. I was like, it's Easter weekend.
She's like, oh well, it like brought the mood down,
you know. I was like, why is it? Like is

(42:02):
that the only weekend they can get? Like, I don't know,
but to travel holiday weekends, like I'm not coming home
until Monday, I have to stay another night in Suin City.
There's no way I'm trying to travel on Easter Sunday.
I'm staying. I'll get a flight out that morning.

Speaker 4 (42:24):
That's incredible, you know, It's something that I don't think
Vince would have ever done.

Speaker 2 (42:30):
We were just talking to JBL said Christmas was their biggest.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
Day, Christmas Day or the day after Christmas? Really, I
always thought they ran the day.

Speaker 2 (42:38):
After Christmas, he said Christmas Day, he said, I don't know.
He just said we because I mentioned Vegas for Easter.
I said, you believe that the wrestling he is going
to be Easter And he said really, And he said,
could you imagine all those sinners trying to get the
church next morning? I said, their church probably has a

(43:02):
slot machine right next to Jesus. Everybody has a slot
machine out there in Vegas, you know. But that's the
one thing. And we were driving home from somewhere and
I said to my kids, oh my god, I said,
it's it's Easter, and my daughter goes, it's okay, Mom,
we understand, and I was just like, I felt so bad.

(43:22):
I was like, oh shit, but you know what, I
gotta go. It's I gotta go, So that'll be a
good time.

Speaker 3 (43:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (43:37):
When I saw that, I thought of you. You're the
first person that popped in my head.

Speaker 2 (43:41):
I've been itching to get back to Vegas for the
longest time. So now the question is where is the venue,
what are you know, where, where are we staying, what
are we doing where, what's in close proximity, where's the party?
That's what we have to figure out. But you know,

(44:05):
the one thing that's gonna suck is it's gonna take
six hours to get there. So hopefully I could get
a direct flight and just fall asleep or something. But uh, Vegas,
I like it. I like it better than Minnesota. Oh yeah,
the weather could be a factor, and if it snows,
it screws up everything. So they have been known to

(44:28):
have snow in April.

Speaker 5 (44:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (44:31):
I was really afraid for that one.

Speaker 2 (44:33):
So we're good. I think we're good weather wise, but easter,
come on, come on, that's a tough one.

Speaker 4 (44:42):
Yeah, I'm very happy for you.

Speaker 3 (44:44):
I think that'll be wonderful.

Speaker 2 (44:46):
Yeah, I did. I've never signed in Vegas, never signed
in Vegas. I've never signed with chain in Vegas. But
I've never signed in Vegas by myself either. So hopefully
we'll be a draw and it'll be good, you know.
So we're looking forward to it, and I think we're
going to do a virtual as well. Oh for the

(45:07):
people that won't be able to make it. So but
I mean, we have eleven months to figure that out.

Speaker 3 (45:13):
It's a long time. But like we always say, it'll
be here before you know it.

Speaker 2 (45:18):
It's true, it's true. But yeah, So that was the
big announcement this week is wrestling in forty one in
Las Vegas. So looking forward to it. Yeah, and news Slash.
I know at the end of the Sandman segment there
was a little one air argument between him and I.

(45:39):
I have convinced him to come to West Virginia, so
he will be at the Bash at Beckley. So very
very excited that I used my womanly charm if you will,
and put a guilt trip on him after we got
off the air and he texted me you win. It's like, yes,

(46:03):
I always win.

Speaker 3 (46:05):
That was a great That was a great interview.

Speaker 2 (46:08):
People are commenting that it was better than the actual episode.

Speaker 4 (46:12):
It filled it filled in so many gaps of the
episode and such a complimentary piece. And you guys were
so awesome with the flow that I dare say they
are correct.

Speaker 3 (46:23):
I think it really was.

Speaker 2 (46:25):
Well, you know some people you vibe with, he's one
of them. And uh, he'll be joining me for some
Shenanigans on the road. So he texted me the other
day and he's like, Archie and Edith those were in
the days. You and I are going to do that song,

(46:45):
but we're going to change the words. Well we're doing it,
And I said, okay, we'll both use it for socials.
It'll be great. So now I have to write the
whole fringing song to fit into wrestling instead of you
know what, would Archie need it the same? But he
thinks he thinks we're going to be the next big thing,

(47:06):
him and I.

Speaker 3 (47:07):
I I one hundred percent agree.

Speaker 4 (47:09):
I think that you have a great chemistry one I
mean from the vlogs that we we have on our
YouTube channel.

Speaker 3 (47:17):
Every time that he's been on with us, and he's
he's different.

Speaker 4 (47:21):
This was his best appearance with us, this last one.

Speaker 3 (47:24):
Yeah, he's amazing. I really love when he's on.

Speaker 2 (47:27):
He's a character. If you haven't heard that, go back
and listen to it, because that was a good one.
It was a really good one. But yeah, that's that's
pretty much what was going on.

Speaker 5 (47:38):
I did.

Speaker 2 (47:38):
I wanted to talk about backlash and you know, get
your opinion on the fans and uh, just the hoaj
poge of random information. This week, the Flare story was
breaking news, So there you go. Yeah, you have to
get that.

Speaker 3 (47:58):
I still have it. I think I believe it should be.

Speaker 4 (48:01):
I think it's on the bottom. I still have American
males in here. Oh here, it is right here.

Speaker 2 (48:06):
Can you put it in?

Speaker 3 (48:07):
I lower the volume when we did our.

Speaker 2 (48:10):
Damn it.

Speaker 3 (48:10):
I always do that.

Speaker 2 (48:11):
Goddamn, Well you're so bad. Why didn't you play it
when you did the Flare story? Can you go back
and post production?

Speaker 3 (48:23):
I mean I could? Yeah, breaking news, Yeah, yeah, we
got to get back.

Speaker 2 (48:30):
On and this is breaking news. Yeah. You have to
do that. You have to. You have to start using
your resources. I do spice to show up a little bit,
would you get it together?

Speaker 4 (48:44):
But for some reason, I mean I just can't. I
cannot let this one.

Speaker 3 (48:47):
Out of my database. I can't take it out.

Speaker 2 (48:52):
Oh the American mass, I can't take it out. Scotty's
doing really well. I've been checking up on him probably
two times a week. Yeah, he's doing good.

Speaker 3 (49:03):
He's jacked, he looks great.

Speaker 4 (49:05):
He's jack those bands that he's using. Yeah, I'm watching
the progress of that. If I was a hair a
bit more jack myself, i'd use him, but there'd be
just the hair.

Speaker 3 (49:15):
There's no use for me to use him right now.
Iva's a hair more jacked, i'd use him. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (49:20):
Now he's doing he's doing really good. I think mentally
he's doing well. That's what he's telling me anyway. So
I've been at least once a week, if not twice
a week. I've been trying to just check in with him,
either through text or online, and I'm getting positives back.
So that makes my heart happy. I'm very happy for him.
