Speaker 1 (00:03):
All right, and welcome into the Trade Block, our interactive
edition of the Fantasy Pros Dynasty Podcast. In this episode,
we'll break down the current Dynasty fantasy football landscape and
let you know the biggest risers and followers over the
first five weeks of the season so you could trade
with confidence moving forward. I'm your host, Seth Wilcock Fillion

(00:23):
for Worm, who's currently on the IR stint once again,
and I'm joined by our Dynasty expert here at Fantasy
Pros and a man whose bloodlines carried deep throughout the
Big Ten Conference these days, he's Pat fitz Morris Fits.
How are you doing today and how are you as
we approach week six of the fantasy football season.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
I'm doing great, Seth, But do you really want to
open the door to talk about Big Ten football for
either of us since I'm a downtrodden Wisconsin fan and
you're a dejected Penn State fan.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Man, Oh, it was a tough one. It absolutely was
a tough one. But at least the good news is
in a couple of seasons, hopefully a few of these
guys will become NFL fantasy football relevant for us.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
How about it? Yeah, that sounds good. That sounds good.
That's our hope for Drew Aller right.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
It absolutely is man, and it doesn't look like we're
gonna have much success making another deep run in the CFP,
but we still have the future promise, as we do
with all our Dynasty players. Today's show does look like this, folks.
We're going to react to the shifting landscape of this
month's Dynasty trade value chart for roughly the next thirty minutes.
Then we'll of course take your trade questions for Dynasty

(01:34):
Fantasy football purposes over on the Fancy Pros Discord channel
for the back half the show.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Quick shout out.

just head to fancypros dot com slash chat to get

(02:02):
yourself started and fits, what do you say we dive
into this trade Value Chart.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Let's do it, Seth.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
All right, let's go ahead and dive into this week's
edition of the Fancy Pros Dynasty Trade value chart and
start with the top quarterbacks. Here, the top four remain
largely unchanged. A Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Jane Daniels, and
Jalen Hurts now slots into that four spot. However, we
do have a new QB five on the chart this week.
It is Los Angeles Charters quarterback Justin Herbert, who's up

(02:31):
two spots after pacing as the quarterback eleven through five weeks.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Fits.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
It was a strong start this season for Herbo and
this new look Greg Roman called offense, but things have
started to be a little lackluster over the last two weeks.
Why is the former Oregon Duck still a riser for you? Though?

Speaker 4 (02:48):
When it comes to your dynasty rankings.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
I think it's largely because Greg Roman has sort of
cast off his run heavy ways, Seth and is throwing
the ball more. If the Chargers are like well above
the even mark in passing right over expected, so like
we did not expect that at all from mc greg
roman offense. So that's a really good sign. And then

(03:12):
the emergence of Quentin Johnston finally becoming the player the
Chargers had hoped he'd be when they drafted him in
the first round a few years ago.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
So those two reasons for sure.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
But yes, he has struggled a bit lately, and I
think we can trace that directly to the injury to
tackle Joe Alt. Know, when you've got one of the
ten best offensive tackles in the league and lose him,
and you've already lost your other star tackle, Rashaan Slater
to a season ending injury in training camp, just kind
of a rough situation. I think Mackai Beckton is hurt

(03:43):
now too. He's got some sort of hand issues, so
protection is definitely an issue for Herbert. But if they
can keep him upright, like just exquisite arm talent, He
runs a little bit and he's got a great treo receiver,
so it's a lot to like here.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Yeah, absolutely there is.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
And you know, it shows that people can change, right
pat People can change, including our friend Greg Roman as well.
So good to see justin Herbert rising up the ranks here.
We also have another quarterback slowly trickling up these dynasty
value charts as well. Newland Patriots quarterback Drake May. He
is now right behind Herbert and also up two spots.

(04:22):
Fits May is sitting as quarterback seven overall through five
weeks this season. Obviously, you and I are both big
proponents of the second year quarterback in redraft, but what
do you see from him from a dynasty lens moving forward?

Speaker 2 (04:36):
He's actually my quarterback for and I personally have him
ranked ahead of Justin Herbert, and I think he is
just starring the making, if not a star already. Seth
Like the arm talent is amazing, the decision making and
the way he can process under fire.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
It just.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
It's beyond his years.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Really, Like he's young quarterback and he plays like he's
twenty eight or twenty nine, and it's just been so
impressive to watch him do it. And he can like
zip a bullet if he needs to, or he can
layer a throw and get it between levels of the
defense perfectly. Now it's helping him a lot that We're
starting to see.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Stefan Diggs play a little more.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
They limited his snaps in the early weeks of the
season after last year's ACL tear, but now Diggs is
back and starting to make an impact kind of starting
to be the same sort of receiver for Drake may
in twenty twenty five that he was for Josh Allen
in twenty twenty which was there Josh Allen made the
jump to superstar and I think we're seeing Drake may

(05:40):
take that same jump this year.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Yeah, and as soon as the Newngland Patriots decide to
continue to surround him with even better and better weapons,
I think Drake may Is can continue to send here.
And he's still doing with his legs too here fits
especially when he gets inside that goal zone. He always
has a nose for the end zone, it seems, whether
it's you know, if he's went into Stefan Diggs, Hunter
Henry or just taking himself, he knows how to find

(06:04):
that paydirt there. And that's great for fancy value as well.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Yeah, definitely.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
And he's actually been almost a little less aggressive running
than I thought he would be. Seth Like, uh, he
was super aggressive running at North Carolina about ten rushing
attempts a game. He has not been quite to that
level here, But it's because he is a real quarterback.
He goes through progressions and like he wants to do

(06:30):
it through the air. And rushing is kind of a
last resort. It's a lot different than what we're seeing
from Jackson Dart where it's one read. If it's not there,
Jackson Dart just takes off.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
Like Drake may is one.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Hundred times more advanced as a passer than Jackson Dartes
right now. And that's kind of the difference and maybe
why it's not quite been a rushing bonanza, but it's
been more of a nice bonus. And yeah, like you
want that rushing ability out of a quarterback, we get
that out of Drake, but we're getting great passing numbers.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Two.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Yeah, let's talk about a quarterback though that we're not
seeing a lot of rushing from not seeing on the
field at all.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
It's Joe Burrow.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
He has not now fallen from the quarterback four in
the preseason Dynasty trade value chart down to quarterback eight
for you fits here. What do dynasty managers do if
they do have Joe Burrow obviously an elite talent when
out on the field, but he has essentially suffered his
third season ending injury in just six years now.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
I know it's really frustrating.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
I think you just have to sort of hold I
think the drop in his value sort of reflects where
we're at with Joe Burrow right now. Still one of
the best passers in the game and still a fairly
young man. Like, he's still got a lot of good
years ahead of him if he can stay healthy as
those excellent weapons, just a matter of him like being back.

(07:51):
But I don't think we're gonna see it like the
Bengals traded for Joe Flacco today, Seth a few hours
before we record this. I do not think Joe Flacco
is going to keep the Bengals afloat in the AFC
playoff chase. So something tells me we're probably gonna see
Joe Burrow shut down and not playing again until twenty

(08:12):
twenty six.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
Yeah, it's unfortunate.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
If you are a Joe Burrow manager right now and
you're in contention, are you floating out offers to try
to get something back that you can play this season?
Maybe try to acquire some future picks, Like what's the
prescription here if you do have Burrow as your leading
quarterback in a super flex league?

Speaker 3 (08:30):
Pat Yeah, in one QB.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
I mean, if you can get anything from the trade
market is always soft.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
In one QB, for quarterbacks, it's just hard to.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Really kind of hard to deal them and get anything
in return, just because the supply is so abundant. In
Super Flex, I'm probably just hanging on to him, like
I have him in the Fantasy pros in house dynasty league,
and I'm just kind of sitting on him, and that
team is kind of in purgatory any way, Like I'm

(09:02):
I'm two and three right now, and maybe i can
sneak into the playoffs, but I'm not going to win
the championship, So I'm just kind of sitting tight on
Burrow rather than selling him for eighty cents on the dollar.

Speaker 5 (09:12):
Yeah, that might be.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
All you have to do.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
And it's tough because, like the middle is the worst
place to kind of be in dynasty.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
Fantasy football leagues.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
You really want to be towards the top end or
towards the bottom end that you can acquire some early
rookie picks. But if you're with Joe Burrow right now,
you kind of have to hold him because we know
what the upside is when he's out there on the field.

Speaker 4 (09:32):
Fits.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
I also want to talk about these rookie quarterbacks here.
Jackson Darted the New York Giants, and of course cam
Ward of the Tennessee Titans.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
Fits You've now moved.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Dart ahead of Ward on the trade value chart. So
is there some buyers remorse from managers who went Ward
over Dart in rookie drafts this season or do you
think maybe this flips back around on its head.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
So now, just as a reminder, so the trade value
chart is an amalgam of the dynasty ranking of myself,
Andrew Erickson, and Derek Brown. Derek Brown is a big
Jackson Dart advocate, so I still have cam Ward ranked
one spot ahead of Jackson Dart at QB fifteen and

(10:15):
Ward QB fifteen, Dark QB sixteen, but no doubt Debro has.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Dart higher.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
So like Dart can run, we've seen that, and we're
not going to see very pretty passing numbers from him.
I mean, his yards per attempt right now is five something,
and like it's not fair to judge him on that.
He doesn't have Molik neighbors now, so he's getting thrown

(10:42):
into the fire. I mean, the next three weeks he's
got the Eagles twice and the Broncos once, and he's
got to do that with Wandel Robinson, and I think
Jalen Hyatt because now Darius Slayton is hurt too, so
he's just trying to fight with one one arm tied
behind his back basically, and he's just going to do
this one read and run thing for a while. He's

(11:06):
going to give us rushing value, but the passing numbers
won't be pretty. I think it's gonna be hard to
judge him, but like the rushing is what we are
looking for and that appeals to us. Him Warred obviously
really hamstrung by his supporting cast. There have been flashes
of it, had that nice throat to Calvin Ridley late
in the game to spring the upset on the Cardinals.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
And there are moments.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
But he's also trying to play hero ball, which was
kind of one of his flaws in college, Like he
would hold the ball a little too long, make throws
like off his back foot, off balance across the field.
They're mistakes and we're going to see a lot of those.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
But like raw.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Tools are pretty impressive, and I do have hope for
him that he's going to develop into a franchise quarterback
for the Titans.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
What do you think it takes do you think it
takes more help from a pass catching perspective, or do
you think it's a change at coach. You know, we
saw Brian Callahan might be on the hot seat, and
then just the incredible comeback and kind of the Cardinals
desmise here this past week potentially elongated his tenure there
in Music City.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Yes, and yes, and maybe some new offensive linemen too.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Okay, okay, fair enough. Last quarterback here I wanted to
chat about. Is Daniel Jones of the Colts QB eight
and scoring this season? The Colts are currently four and one.
Did not see this coming at all. I don't know
how many people did have this on their twenty twenty
five bingo card fits.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
But is there.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
Staying power for Danny Dimes beyond twenty twenty five or
is this one of those situations if you're not a contender,
do you maybe ship Daniel Jones out and just kind
of start collecting draft assets for him?

Speaker 6 (12:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (12:47):
I mean, if you're not a contender, I do think
maybe he is a good player to move because his
value is probably higher right now than it will be
a year from now.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
I don't know. I mean, I do believe in emption stories. Seth.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
We've seen it to some degree with Sam Darnold. Maybe
he can be redeemed. And you know, Jane Stiken had
the reputation as a quarterback whisper until Anthony Richardson kind
of made us wonder and.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
Question that reputation.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
But now he has helped Danny Dimes orchestrate a remarkable comeback.
And if he can, if he can get the Colts
into the playoffs, maybe they do extend him and keep
him around a little while. And because they've got a
lot of the other pieces in place on this team,
so yeah, I mean there's some immediate value and perhaps

(13:38):
some future value too. But if I'm not in contention,
especially in Superflex, I'm definitely shopping him around.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Okay, And by now most of you probably already heard
of Reality Sports Online, the powerful fancy sports platform where
managers actually get to build and manage their fancy team
like an NFL general manager.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
But the question is have you tried it yet?

Speaker 1 (14:00):
It's time to go see what all the buzz in
the dynasty community is about. Free agency, multi year contracts,
a rookie draft, multi team trades, franchise tags, contract extensions,
first round rookie options, automated contract and salary cap functionality,
and much much more.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
Think it sounds complicated, it's not.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
And the best thing about Reality Sports Online Fantasy Front
Office is that it takes no more time than a
standard league. It just requires a bit more strategy. If
you think you're among the fantasy elite, well this is
the platform to test your metal.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
Still not sure.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
You can test out your GM skills for free in
a mock free agency option. If you like what you see,
use the promo code Fantasy Pros and you're gonna receive
a ten percent discount on your team or league today. Again,
that's promo code Fantasy Pros to receive a ten percent
discount on your team or league today. Fantasy just got
real at of Reality Sports online dot Com. Let's move

(14:55):
to the running backs here fits where Jonathan Taylor a
resurgent season underway. He has moved up mightily in the
rankings for the Dinacy Trade Value Chart among the consensus
right now, up to RB four currently RB two on
the season, behind only Christian McCaffrey in scoring, leads the
league in rushing and also has seen a return in

(15:16):
his pass catching volume as well. Is JT back for
good your former Wisconsin Badger. Is he back on your
good side?

Speaker 4 (15:23):
Pat?

Speaker 2 (15:24):
I would like to I would like to think he's
back for good seth And part of it is that
he has not had any reoccurrence of the ankle issues
that have plagued him in recent years.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
So yeah, that has been good.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
And like you said, they have been getting him involved
more as a pass catcher, which was like, it's never
been a real strong suit for him. Didn't do a
lot of that at the University of Wisconsin, but they
are using him in that capacity now a little bit
and it boosts his value.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
But yeah, he is just.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
As we used to say that Nick Chubb was maybe
the best pure runner in the NFL. I think there's
a strong case that Jonathan Taylor is that guy now.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
Yeah, and only twenty six years old. He'll turn twenty
seven by the time the full NFL season is up.
So is he someone you're still looking to hang on to,
whether you're a contender or rebuilder or does it really
only make sense in those situations where you can go
win a championship in the next couple of years.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
Yeah, I mean, so he's maybe prime to late prime
of his career, but I don't think you necessarily are
automatically shopping him if you're not in contention and have
him Like, yes, you could probably get an excellent haul
for him if you tried to deal him this week,
but he could also potentially be a building block for

(16:41):
the future. You know, might owe it to yourself to
at least chop him around a little bit and see
what you could get for him. But if you want
to just hang on to him, I'm cool with that too.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
We also have Cam Scataboo maybe one of the most
fun players to watch this season, tough downhill runner, just
like he was at Arizona State last season when he
led them to a Cinderella CFP run, and we've also
seen him have a lot of pass catching utility this
season as well. And currently the RB seventeen on the
season sits right there RB seventeen in the Dynasty trade

(17:13):
value chart. What is it about Skataboo that has made
him a top twenty dynasty running back and pushed him
ahead of other rookie running backs that were taking ahead
of him in rookie draft season like RJ.

Speaker 4 (17:24):
Harvey.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
A run catch utility, and how dang hard he is
to tackle? Sef like he is such a load to
bring down, really fun player, like we haven't seen we
haven't seen a lot of breakaway runs from him yet
a lot of explosive runs. And I'm wondering if that's
just something we're not going to get at a high
rate from Sketaboo or if that's more because no defenses

(17:48):
can you don't really have to honor the pass right
now with the Giants with a rookie quarterback in no
Moleik neighbors, so he is not getting a lot of
room to run. There a lot of heavy boxes lined
up against him, and I think maybe that might explain
the lack of explosives so far. But man, is this

(18:09):
guy tough. You can shoulder a heavy load and has
been shouldering a heavy load.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
And yeah, he.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
Does give you some pass catching value too, So really
excited about him as a long term asset.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
And speaking of rookies, Pat, maybe no rookie has fallen
further on the Dinaster trade value chart so far this
season than Caleb Johnson, who has just twenty one rushing
yards on eight attempts and is the clear RB three
on the Pittsburgh Steelers depth chart, behind both Kenneth Gainwell
and Jalen Warren fresh offer extension. Is there still hope
maybe though, that the future could be bright for the

(18:43):
twenty twenty four Big Ten leading rusher.

Speaker 7 (18:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
I mean.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
We thought that he was going to be a good
fit in Pittsburgh with their you know, probably a run
heavy ethos under Arthur Smith, and it just it hasn't
worked out. And then he certainly did himself no favors
with that. I think it was Week two the botched
kickoff return against Seattle where he just let ball in

(19:09):
the landing zone go and Seattle dove on it for
a touchdown in a game that they lost by what
nine points? It turned out to be a really costly move.
And now he's kind of doghoused. And it didn't help
that when Jalen Warren was hurt when they were playing
in Ireland a couple of weeks ago, we saw Kenneth
Gainwell step into the breach and have a really big day.

(19:30):
So now he is kind of buried as the clear
third running back for Pittsburgh. I don't think anyone's going
to get their money's worth out of him this year,
barring you know, probably more than one injury in that backfield,
and I don't know what his long term prognosis is.

(19:51):
He was kind of a polarizing prospect. A lot of
people liked him, but some didn't. So I don't know,
I thought he was a decent prospect. Well, Gopak goes
in our chat right now, Seth asking if he would
uh trade away? Should trade away ja Cory Krossky Merritt
or Caleb Johnson and Matthew Golden. Think of how preposterous

(20:14):
that would have seen back during rookie draft season. Golden
and Caleb like a two late first round guys, or
maybe you know, Golden slid into the early second in
one draft for Crosskey Merritt kind of a guy who
just done on buzz value is maybe going in the
late third round.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
So yeah, I mean it's and it does not seem like, I.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
Don't know, a crazy deal he would be getting Golden
in Caleb, and I think I'm probably doing that, taking
Golden Caleb for Crosskey merrit But I don't know, I
don't know if that's the right call actually, because maybe
Krosskey Merritt is is really good and right now I
think he clearly has a lot more value than Caleb,
but so not dead for the future, but yeah, things

(21:03):
will kind of bleak right now.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
Yeah, one of those situations for sure where you kind
of just have to hold on and hope for better
days ahead. From Caleb Johnson. I still think he fits
this Arthur Smith zone running scheme very well.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
It just might take some time.

Speaker 8 (21:18):
Man.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
We saw it last year with Roman Wilson. We thought
maybe he would finally creep up into the Steelers pass
catching pecking order. This season he hasn't as well. And
you know, I don't want to say, like I want
to doubt Omar Kahn, right like Omar Cohn one of
the better general managers I think in the league usually.
So I still think there is some talent here with
Caleb Johnson. I think I'm with you that I would

(21:39):
take the Matthew Golden and Caleb Johnson side of that
trade with relative ease, just because, look, I mean, we've
seen Day three running backs have their place in the NFL,
but it's usually not a long term asset you want
to tie a lot of capital into. So yeah, definitely
would probably favor that Caleb Johnson and Matthew gold side
of things, But just goes to show how much things

(21:59):
really you change in a hurry in the dynasty and
fantasy football landscape as a whole. Last running back here
to touch on pat Isaiah Pacheco, who I think a
lot of people were expecting maybe a bounce back season,
getting him back healthy from that injury. It has not
been the case though so far this season, thirty eight
on the RB list for the Trade Value Chart, averaging

(22:20):
just seven point three fantasy points per game, outscored by
Kareem Hunt so far this season, who just found the
end zone twice on Monday Night for Shard Smith continues
to get more and more work in the passing game
as well. So is this a situation with Pachecko that
he's gone after this year after his contract expires.

Speaker 4 (22:38):
Maybe the Chiefs reloaded.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
Running back, find there areb of the future to kind
of groom there under Patrick Mahomes, or could you know,
Pachecko maybe settle for a veteran friendly deal, stay in
Kansas City here and he still has relative value for
a few years to come. What do you think their
likely outcome is for the man out of Rutgers.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
I don't know if they're gonna keep him now, Seth
if I were a Pachecko investor, I think I would
actually want him to move on because right now he
hasn't been the same guy that he was pre injury,
although maybe he's a little closer to it now. He's
just not getting enough high value touches. In Kansas City,
they give Kareem Hunt the goal line work, and Pachecko

(23:20):
doesn't really get enough receptions to move the needle as
a pass catcher. So I think it would be best
if he moved on. But I think it's probably good
if we just sort of give up any pretense that
he's going to go back to being a featured guy.
I think he's going to be a committee back going forward.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
Yeah, Unfortunately, that's how again, kind of another Day three
running back who popped up on the scene and had
a good year or two for fantasy managers and slowly
just kind of seems to be running out of gasing
here at the professional level.

Speaker 4 (23:49):
So bummer to see that.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
But Isaiah Pacheco still might be a guy you can
potentially go out and sell for something right now, but
it might be best just to hold until his value
come back up to water level. Let's go to the
wide receiver Zough here, pat where we have to start
at the top.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
Pooka Nakua has moved from.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
Wide receiver eight in the preseason Dynasty trade value chart
all the way up to wide receiver one, currently holding
the same value as Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson after
a start of the season that has just been otherworldly,
averaging twenty six point nine fantasy points per game. Still though,
a lot of unknowns here with Pooka long term. Matthew
Stafford he'll be thirty eight by the end of the

(24:28):
NFL season, and at the same time, we don't know
what the long term prospects is for Sean McVay. We
heard the rumblings a couple of years ago he might
be heading to TV sooner rather than later. So with
all that said, is Pooka Nakuah your Dynasty wide receiver one.
Is this a chance to maybe sell him at his
high point? Or we just letting the good times roll here, Patty.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
I think we're letting him roll. Seth.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
He is my wide receiver one now, and I do
think it's it's pretty close with Chase and Jefferson, but
he is such it's hard for me to fathom circumstances
in which Puka Nikua doesn't work, you know, I mean
it could be a he could take a major quarterback
down grade, he could take a coaching downgrade. And I

(25:11):
think he's still going to be featured in whichever offense
he's in and catching a lot of passes. I mean
he is right now, He's on pace for almost two
hundred receptions. It's absurd, Like he's double double digit receptions
in four out of five games in his low water
mark in reception his worst game was eight for ninety one.

(25:34):
That was his worst game of the season. Seth Like,
he is just an absolute machine.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
Yeah, in a season where a lot of early value
wide receivers have certainly disappointed, I would take that stat
line every single week in my wide receiver one slot.
So Fuku Nakua he continues to do. It continues to
be really a renaissance for these late value guys who
have popped up and just been absolutely sensational spite not

(26:00):
having a ton of draft capital coming into the NFL. Also,
speaking of draft capital, someone who did have what some
people would call me questionable draft capital, a Mecca Abuca,
landed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers think everyone questioned what
are they doing here at this pick? They have a
lot of needs on that defensive side of the ball.
They have Mike Evans Chris Godwin re signed as well.
But a Mecca Buca has been maybe the biggest riser

(26:23):
in Dynasty rankings over the first month or so of
the season, wide receiver seventeen to wide receiver eight on
the trade value chart after pacing as the wide receiver
three overall through five weeks. Here man now above players
like Nico Collins, Drake London, and even Tetero McMillan, who
is the consensus wide receiver one of the twenty twenty.

Speaker 4 (26:41):
Five rookie class.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
So pat, it seems like Dynasty Manager has gotten absolutely
smashing value here on a Mecca in rookie drafts and
redrafts this season.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
Right yes, and right now on our updated Dynasty trade
value chart seth Mecha Buka has the same value as
Ashton Gent consensus number one pick in Dynasty rookie drafts
in twenty twenty five. And man, I mean, like, I
find it hard to argue that, and I think there's

(27:09):
a pretty good case to be made that I would
rather have Buca than genty right now.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
But I mean I.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
Could argue either side of that one, I guess, But
man like who would have imagined that he would have
sort of flown by Marvin Harrison Junior in terms of
perceived dynasty value, right?

Speaker 1 (27:29):
I mean we've seen yeah, I mean we've seen so
many of these good Ohio state wide receivers come out,
you know, Jsen, Garrett Wilson, Chris o'lave, and A. Mecca
is slowly making his case to be among those next
elite coming out of that Brian hartline called offense there
at Ohio State So it's been sensational. Do you think

(27:49):
this is the highest his value ever gets though, because
we've kind of seen this before with other of these.

Speaker 4 (27:55):
Ohio state wide receivers.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
Chris o'lave I think at one point was probably considered
a wider one. Obviously, health issues, a bad coaching staff
down there in New Orleans have kind of pushed him down.

Speaker 4 (28:05):
But is this the peak?

Speaker 1 (28:07):
I hate to be, you know, play Devil's advocate here, Pat,
but sometimes I have to ask these questions because we
do see these peaks more times than not with rookies.

Speaker 4 (28:15):
I mean, look at c j. Stroud.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
I think he was like what quarterback four in his
rookie year, and dynasty ranking has since plummeted.

Speaker 3 (28:22):
Yeah, I don't know, Seth.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
I think he's pretty legit ut running ability after the
catch at the catch point, he's really good. And you
know he's done it early on. He did it with
Mike Evans there. Now he's doing it with Chris Godwin there.
It'll be interesting when both Evans and Godwin are around.
I'm not concerned about it, like I think the concern

(28:45):
would be for those guys and not for a mecha book.
I think he's the best receiver on their team now,
and that probably includes the older version of Mike Evans.
If it was the vintage Mike Evans, maybe we couldn't
say that, but the late stay Mike Evans. Yeah, I mean,
I think I Bok is the real deal.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
Yeah, I'm certainly with you, Pat, And you know, I'm
not surprised. I am surprised that he's risen up this quickly,
but he was my wide receiver too in the twenty
twenty five class, coming in just such a polished prospect overall, man,
he can do everything from intermediate routes to short stuff.
He can take the top off a defense as well,
and just seems like a great overall teammate and a

(29:24):
guy whose football IQ is well beyond his year. So
if you have a Mecca Abuka, enjoy it while you can.
And also speaking of a couple of rookie wide receivers
and a receiver who may be disappointed in his sophomore
year so far, I want to talk about the Jaguars
wide receivers here BTJ and Travis Hunter. BTJ was our
Dynasty wide receiver six in the preseason, now Dynasty wide

(29:46):
receiver fourteen on the chart after starting the season as
wide receiver forty through five weeks, no games above twelve
PPR points. Also a slow start for Travis Hunter out
of the gates, but he is starting to play more
in most of those wide receiver three that we're seeing
from the Jacksonville Jaguars. And at the same time, he
took his first few snaps in two wide receiver sets

(30:06):
on Monday Night Football against the Chiefs in Week five.
Still just wide receiver sixty three through five weeks. But
now we just got news right before we went live here,
Pat Brenton Strange on the ir for a couple weeks.
So is this maybe a potential opportunity to get invested
with these Jaguars pass catchers if you don't already have
them in dynasty leagues?

Speaker 2 (30:24):
Yeah, I mean, I I'm okay with trading for BTJ.
I think he is going to bounce back. There were
some weird issues. I think he's still maybe been bothered
by this wrist injury and that might explain why he
was a little reluctant shying away from contact in some
cases and maybe not is eager to go over the

(30:45):
middle as he was last year, because like we didn't
see any of this last year, and he played through
a chest injury that would have had a lot of
other guys sitting out. Like his toughness is not to
be questioned, but maybe he was playing hurt and I
think he's going to be just fine. We're we're starting
to see him come back.

Speaker 3 (31:01):
A little bit.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
Part of it is he kind of clicked with Mac
Jones better than he clicked with Trevor Lawrence last year.
And based on what we saw last week with Mac
Jones and his leading the forty nine ers to the
upset over the Rams, like maybe Mac Jones is just
a better passer than Trevor Lawrence right now, as strange
as that is to say so. Still, though, I think

(31:26):
Brian Thomas is ultimately the same guy that we saw
kind of dominate as a rookie. So if you can
trade for him low, I recommend that Hunter I'm not
as sure about, and it's just what I feared all
off season has kind of come to fruition. He's not
playing full time wide receiver snaps, like he had his

(31:47):
highest snap count of the season in that game against
the Chiefs on Monday Night, sixty seven point two percent,
So basically two thirds of the snaps. You just can't
be consistently impactful on fantasy. You're playing two thirds of
the snaps, you're just not going to get the target
volume you need.

Speaker 3 (32:06):
You know, like most receivers are the.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
Top receivers ninety plus percent snap shares, and Travis Hunter
snap shares consistently between like fifty two percent and sixty
seven percent, So that's a problem. He's played as many
as forty three defensive snaps, actually played forty three defensive

(32:30):
snaps in two different games this year. So yeah, I mean,
this is what I feared and it just seems like
they don't always have a great plan for him offensively either,
which is strange because, like I really respect Liam Cohen
and think he's one of the best offensive choreographers in
the game. But it's just funny they didn't seem to

(32:53):
know exactly what they wanted to do with Travis Hunter
on offense before they traded up to take him with
the second pick of the draft.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
Yeah, they certainly rehearse their promos they're gonna cut post
draft the young GM there Gladstone did, but maybe just
weren't prepared to know how to work him in here.
I think there's still a chance that Travis Hunter becomes
a difference maker for fantasy leagues down the stretch here,
But like you said, it's gonna really take him to
Forest Parker Washington and Diani Brown once he comes back

(33:22):
out of that wide receiver two flanker role in those
two sets. That's what I think it's going to take.
We'll see if we get that. It is a risk
right now. I do think if you are trading for
Travis Hunter and Dynasty redraft, I think float out the
by low offer. But in Dynasty, you're still gonna be
paying somewhat of a pretty penny because people paid that
in their leagues. But yeah, very interesting here at the Jaguars.

(33:45):
Maybe still a by low opportunity though, as you mentioned
on BTJ last wide receiver here Quentin Johnston. We have
to mention him like better late than never, right, because
probably could have gotten him as a throw in in
trades earlier this year and he's now the dynasty wide
receiver thirty according to the trade back you chart after
starting the season out averaging seventeen point four Fantasy points
per game through five weeks, Pat, is this a sell

(34:07):
high opportunity though, if you are a cute JA manager
or did it just take a couple of seasons for
this relatively raw prospect coming out of TCU. He didn't
have anything near a NFL style quarterback or NFL style
offense that he was dealing with down there in Sonny
Dyke's system.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
If you are selling, Seth, I think you're selling because
of the target competition and not because you're worried about
Quentin Johnston reverting to the old Quinton Johnson like. He
looks confident catching the ball now and seems to be
doing it with better technique than he was showing in
his first couple of years in the league. So with

(34:43):
the hands problem out of the way, that is allowing
him to flash.

Speaker 3 (34:46):
What made him such a special.

Speaker 2 (34:49):
Prospect is that that size speed combination. Like once you
get the ball in his hands, I mean, he is
just a monster to try to bring down. So that's
looked pretty good. And and they have been getting the
ball in his hands. He has been earning nearly as
many or as many targets as Keenan Allen and Ladd McConkie,

(35:09):
more than Lad McConkie so far, so that's good. They
are going to be weeks when it's those other guys
more than QJ. And we saw that, I think for
the first time in week five, where he was kind
of a little bit more of an afterthought. But the
offense that's passing more than we thought it would. He's
getting more work than we thought he would, and he

(35:29):
seems to have solved his hands issues and now looks
like the player we thought he was going to be.
So I totally agree with the new ranking.

Speaker 4 (35:36):
Okay, all right, let's go ahead.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
Let's talk about the tight ends quickly here before we
get to everyone's questions. Over on the discord side, it
has looked like Tyler Warren's world as far as.

Speaker 4 (35:46):
The rookie tight ends go. For the Colts.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
He is up to tight end three in the chart,
tight end three on the season as well, thirteen point
three fantasy points per game. Used very creatively here in
the Shansiken offense.

Speaker 4 (35:57):
Colston Lovelin, the Chicago.

Speaker 1 (36:00):
Bears first round pick down to tight end seven, only
played in three games, but did just total three receptions
forty three yards in those three contests. Of course, Cole
Cometzi running some routes there as well, which is pushing
his target and snapshare down quite a bit. And then
a Harold fan and junior up nine spots from his
preseason ranking up to tight end eight on the chart
right now tight end fifteen in scoring, averaging eight point

(36:23):
nine fantasy points per game. How do you assess these
rookie tight ends and are you willing to go buy
them at their peak or is it just one of
those situations, Hey, you might have just missed out on
a really good crop of pass catching tight ends.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
Yeah, I mean it's probably gonna be hard to try
to buy Warren. I think you could buy lovelend because
maybe some of his maybe some of the people are
drafted him, are a little disenchanted with the roll. And
just as he was starting to maybe get a little
bit of uptech in usage, he got this hip injury, minor,
but just enough to kind of slow the momentum for him.

Speaker 3 (36:56):
So I don't know if Loveland.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
Is really going to get it rolling this season to
the point where you feel really good about having him
in your lineup the way you do with Tyler Warren
right now. But I do still think Bolston Loveland has
got a bright future in Ben Johnson's offense. Like this
is gonna work out, It just might take some time.

(37:20):
Tyler Warren love what he's done, and he hasn't bowled
us over totally with the target figures yet. In fact,
they've actually been going down a little bit. He had
nine in his first game, only fifteen combined over his
last three games. But man, he's been really efficient with
the targets. He's averaging nine point nine yards per target

(37:40):
this season, which is phenomenal for a tight end. That's
good for a wide receiver, let alone a tight end.
They're using him as a runner, they're using him as
a passer occasionally they're doing all the gadgety stuff that
they did with him. As you know, Seth as a
Penn State guy at Penn State and he's also former
high school quarterbacks.

Speaker 3 (38:00):
They know he can throw an option pass if you
want him to.

Speaker 2 (38:03):
But yeah, it's it's been fun to watch him and
like scary thing is I mean, I think there's more
that we have not seen from him yet, Like, yeah,
the target counts have been modest, like a few more
targets here and there, and look out man.

Speaker 4 (38:19):
Yeah, absolutely we saw him.

Speaker 1 (38:21):
He got a toss in the backfield and he actually
I don't know if it was a design throw, but
he threw it out of bounce. You know, very high
IQ play there as well. So love what we've seen
from Tyler Warren. Harold Fannon continued to trend up as well,
and maybe a good opportunity to buy Colston Loveland low.
Last thing here on the trade value chart, I want
to talk twenty twenty six first twenty twenty seven picks
because we actually have the cost of early twenty twenty

(38:45):
seven picks higher than twenty twenty six picks currently, pat
and that's pretty unusual just because we usually want what
we can have as soon as possible. But there's no
sugarcoating that this entire twenty twenty six class has been
somewhat underwhelming this season in the college football streets. Specifically
at quarterback, Cadeklubnick has been a disaster. He doesn't even
look like he might be, you know, fit into day

(39:06):
two on the draft. Lenora Seller's big disappointment for the
mobile quarterback down there in South Carolina, Drew Allard Arch
if he was even coming out at all, he has
looked terrible, kind of somewhat banged up. Maybe two like
you name them, they pretty much all disappointed. And you
look at the best running back in the country right now,
while it's an underclassman, Missouri's running back Amaud Hardy. So
the two best rode receivers also in that twenty twenty

(39:28):
seven class pretty much down there in college football, Jeremiah Smith,
Bryan Williams. So pat is that why you're a higher
and the staff as a whole is higher on these
twenty twenty seven picks and twenty twenty six points at
tit picks at this point.

Speaker 2 (39:42):
Yes, So right now it's looking like twenty twenty six
it is just a bad class. I don't I don't
know that there's any other way to say it. And
I'm sure they're gonna guys, we're going to I won't
even say fall in love with, I'll say fall in
like with, yeah, from this twenty twenty six class. But man, like,
I don't know if there are any guys who I

(40:04):
would considered to have a good shot at stardom right now,
Like there will be stars who emerge, but like, I
can't peg the future stars in the class of twenty
twenty six. Class of twenty twenty seven is littered with
future stars. I mean, Jeremiah Smith, Ryan Williams, like Dylan Ryle,
the list goes on.

Speaker 3 (40:25):
It's just going to be this star studded class.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
So yeah, I think those picks, I mean, we might
like twenty twenty seven second round picks more than we
like twenty twenty six first round picks. So yeah, sacrifice
the year and consider that if you're selling and looking
for future assets. Unfortunately, kind of everyone knows this, but
like they might not even know the extent everyone knows

(40:50):
the twenty twenty seven class is going to be really good.
I think most dynasty managers are aware of that. I'm
not sure dynasty managers realize just how bad.

Speaker 3 (40:58):
This class of twenty twenty six is going to be.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
Like, I don't know if there are any we thought
it might be good at quarterback seth, I mean, like,
which quarterback are you excited? I think I like Fernando
Mendoza of Indiana about as much as I like anyone
right now.

Speaker 1 (41:13):
Yeah, it's probably Mendoza. If John Matteer gets back healthy.
He was on a really good piece. I think he
has a little bit of like raw Josh Allen to
his game. Jordan Tyson, the wide receiver out of Arizona State,
I think he's on track to probably be the wide
receiver one currently leading the Big twelve in receiving yards.
Like I do, like your your your guy Elijah sat
up there too out of Indiana. But it's shallow, man,

(41:38):
It's very shallow. As compared to last year we were
already talking about Oh my god, Ashton Genty, Travis Hunter, Buco.
He could see these guys, you know, starting to mold
their path towards an NFL future.

Speaker 4 (41:48):
Just doesn't seem that way right now. Unfortunately.

Speaker 2 (41:51):
I know it's sad, it's uh, we're gonna have to
manufacture excitement when we start talking about prospects in early
twenty twenty six.

Speaker 1 (41:58):
Yes, absolutely, but still some time before then. And if

do you say we get a couple question of.

Speaker 4 (42:39):
Rolling, Let's do it, all right? Who should we?

Speaker 1 (42:44):
If you want to bring someone up here, Pat, I'll
give you the keys to the car here.

Speaker 3 (42:49):
Oh okay, let's see who is up on the.

Speaker 2 (42:55):
We'll start with herbs and cheese or wait to say,
I'm sorry herbs and cheese.

Speaker 3 (43:02):
My apologies. I'm just looking oh, there it is. I'm
going to see who.

Speaker 2 (43:05):
Has their hands up first and we will go too.
I can't read this because I'm blind. God, gosh, Josh.

Speaker 4 (43:14):
What's up? Josh?

Speaker 6 (43:15):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (43:16):
Hey, how's it going good?

Speaker 4 (43:18):
How you doing? Man?

Speaker 5 (43:19):
Good?

Speaker 3 (43:20):
Good? Hey?

Speaker 9 (43:21):
I just had kind of a couple questions about some players.
I was kind of wondering what your guys' thoughts are
with like what the value or.

Speaker 5 (43:28):
The true value for a J.

Speaker 3 (43:29):
Brown would be right now?

Speaker 9 (43:31):
Like, well, if I'm trying to get him, like what
would be worth it, because he's been scaring me, like
I was trying to do a buy low, but he's
doing so bad I'm like questioning that at this point.

Speaker 2 (43:41):
Yeah, And I mean, if you're trying to get him
as a contender this year, the only problem is that
he like he has a lot of difficult matchups the
rest of the way. I mean, this week is one
of the rare weeks when he gets kind of a
soft one with the Giants. But it just seems like
he's running in a sort of murder's row of good

(44:01):
cover men this year.

Speaker 3 (44:03):
So I still think he's really good.

Speaker 2 (44:05):
Still think he's like prime late prime type player.

Speaker 3 (44:10):
But yeah, I mean We're still seeing a.

Speaker 2 (44:14):
Pretty heavy Eagles run heavy Eagles offense, and unfortunately DeVante
Smith and Dallas Goddard get their targets too.

Speaker 5 (44:23):
So.

Speaker 2 (44:25):
You know, it's just kind of I don't know if
we're going to see that thirteen hundred yard fourteen hundred
yard upside that we were seeing from a few years ago.

Speaker 3 (44:33):
Yeah, I don't know right now.

Speaker 2 (44:34):
We've Yeah, his value for us right now equates to
other receivers we have ranked right with him are like
basically Rashid Rice, Lad mcconckie, Marvin Harrison Junior, and commensurate
running back value according to the trade chart right now
is like James Cook, Traveon Henderson, Quin, Shawn Judkins. Okay, Man,

(45:00):
I don't know if the Drunkens investor is giving up
him for a j Brown.

Speaker 4 (45:05):
Yeah, I would totally do that.

Speaker 3 (45:06):
Yeah, Okay, got you for like a Nico Collin.

Speaker 9 (45:14):
If I was to try and do like a trade
up with Zay Flowers, how much do you think would
be worth giving up.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
Oh Zay and something for Nico? Like, I think it
would have to be pretty substantial. I think to bridge
that gap, you'd maybe need to throw in like uh,
oh Man.

Speaker 4 (45:33):
Early second late first Is that too much?

Speaker 2 (45:38):
We're talking twenty twenty six, it's probably going to take
a first, or if it's an existing player, I'm thinking like, oh, man,
maybe like a good young running back like Cory Krofsky merits.

Speaker 1 (45:53):
Say Phil Krossky.

Speaker 2 (45:55):
Yeah, I mean I I kind of think that's what
it would take, or maybe like a.

Speaker 3 (46:03):
Maybe Oh sorry, go ahead, Oh no, you're good.

Speaker 9 (46:07):
I also was they were looking at maybe for Nico,
like Kenneth Walker and a Kincaid together.

Speaker 3 (46:15):
Would that be worth it?

Speaker 1 (46:16):
I think so nose flowers in that deal, just Walker
and Kaid. Oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah I.

Speaker 3 (46:25):
For that, Yes, absolutely, Okay, okay, yeah, perfect.

Speaker 2 (46:31):
As much as I like Walker, I mean, Walker's good
when healthy, but yeah, you know they're they're time sharing
him right now and he's been kind of injury prone
in the.

Speaker 3 (46:41):
Past and.

Speaker 9 (46:44):
Killing me.

Speaker 2 (46:45):
Yeah, and Kincaid's been really efficient with his targets right now,
but like he does not get a ton of targets.

Speaker 3 (46:51):
That's the only issue.

Speaker 4 (46:52):
Yeah, on the field of time.

Speaker 3 (46:54):
Yeah, yeah, that's that's true. That's true.

Speaker 9 (46:58):
Also, I was wondering, what why is nobody talking about
Jake Ferguson, Like I feel like he's been killing the
game and everybody's kind of just hesitating on him. Am
I missing something about him?

Speaker 6 (47:10):
Well?

Speaker 3 (47:10):
Yeah, I mean just.

Speaker 2 (47:12):
Oh, go ahead, that's right, oh Wisconsin Badger. So yes,
I uh, you know. I I'm fond of Jake and
he is good, and he was like Wisconsin's best pass
catcher for a lot of the time he was there.

Speaker 3 (47:22):
No, I mean, it's a great situation for him. Right now.

Speaker 2 (47:25):
He's averaging like about ten targets a game and his
reception totals are crazy, like he's on pace for well
over one hundred catches. The only issue is he's averaging
nine yards or excuse me, six point six yards per
catch right now.

Speaker 3 (47:41):
And he is scoring some touchdowns.

Speaker 2 (47:44):
Like before this year he had seven touchdowns in forty
seven career games, and so far he's got three touchdowns already.
So I don't know if you can count on him
continuing to score touchdowns at this rate.

Speaker 3 (47:59):
And basically he's just sort.

Speaker 2 (48:01):
Of a high volume catch and fall down guy right now.

Speaker 1 (48:06):
Yeah, And that's that's kind of how I've always seen him. Honestly,
Josh is more of a catch and fall tight end.
I will say, Pat I feel like he has improved
quite a bit though, Like what he did this last week,
taking that one short pass.

Speaker 4 (48:18):
You know, there wasn't a ton of defense on that,
but taking that to.

Speaker 1 (48:20):
The house, you know, forty plus yards is pretty impressive
for a guy that I didn't think had a lot
of yards after the catchability. So maybe the talent is
starting to peek through for Jake Ferguson. But I am
mostly with Pat here that I think he is more
of a volume play, and maybe that volume comes down
just a little bit when we get Seedee Lamb back
one hundred percent healthy as well.

Speaker 2 (48:41):
Sure there has definitely played into the volume.

Speaker 3 (48:45):
Got you, got you? Okay? Sweet?

Speaker 8 (48:47):
Well, thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (48:47):
Guys really appreciate it. Yeah, thank you, Josh.

Speaker 1 (48:50):
We appreciate you. Man ours all right, Pat, who do
we have coming up here?

Speaker 4 (48:54):
Next?

Speaker 1 (48:55):
Man?

Speaker 3 (48:56):
Let us bring up herbs and cheese? What's up herbs
and cheese?

Speaker 5 (49:01):
I's how you doing?

Speaker 4 (49:03):
Good? Brothers.

Speaker 5 (49:04):
So I kind of wanted to talk.

Speaker 6 (49:05):
About how y'all are changing the outlook for the season
with the Joe Flacco trade. I dropped my team in
the trat and I was pretty reliant on the Bengals
this year.

Speaker 5 (49:13):
Having Jamar and Chase Brown.

Speaker 6 (49:17):
I'm hoping Chase Brown will get a lot of dump
offs with Flacco in there, but I.

Speaker 5 (49:21):
Know the offensive line is the main problem there.

Speaker 6 (49:23):
And don't know if you think his outlook significantly changes
with that trade or what you think.

Speaker 2 (49:31):
Man, I would like to give you a rosier outlook
for this herbs and cheese, But yeah, I mean, I
think the Browns had given up the ninth highest pressure rates.

Speaker 3 (49:42):
So far this season and Bengals are the fourth highest.

Speaker 2 (49:45):
They've actually given up a higher pressure rate than the
brown So that's been a problem because Flacco is just
completely immobile and it kind of melts down and we'll
put the ball into injured spots when he is under
fire and on Fortunately, I think he's going to continue
to be under fire. So maybe he's got receivers who
can make plays for him, and he's not shy about

(50:08):
letting receivers make plays. But I just wonder if, like
I don't know, the Yolo Joe Flacco that we saw
the last couple of years was kind of fun and
he threw too many interceptions, committed too many turnovers, took
too many sacks, but rep numbers and now he's not
even putting up numbers and he's averaging like five point

(50:30):
one yards per attempt, So I just wonder if he's
kind of cooked.

Speaker 1 (50:34):
Yeah, I'm kind of with you there, Pat, Like, I
just don't know how mobile he can be and survived
this just atrocious offensive line. We talked about it last
week that I think it was over on the Twitch
channel that I don't know if a quarterback will really
change things. I mean maybe Hills James Jamis and he
just wanted to throw absolute yolo balls and me. We
get some of that from Joe Flacco here, but I'm

(50:57):
still not super excited about it. This is a dynce
the league. Is that correct, Herbs?

Speaker 5 (51:02):
Yeah, yeah, it is.

Speaker 4 (51:04):
Where are you at.

Speaker 1 (51:04):
In your in your league standings right now?

Speaker 6 (51:07):
I'm three and two. I mean I dropped my team.
I still have pretty solid pieces. I have j T
and Drake may So, DeVante Adams, Kenneth Walker, Courtland Sutton.
So it's I'm still i think probably in the pretty
clear three contenders in this league. It's ten team and
I think looking at all the rosters, it's pretty clear

(51:28):
top three of me and two other teams. So I'm
still not like out of it, but it would definitely
helped have a more reliable RB two than an old
Kamara and better flex plays.

Speaker 5 (51:39):
But I'm still in it.

Speaker 6 (51:41):
So the other question was, if you don't see a
big change and outlook looking at my team, do you
think like a selling off a Kamara and Davante Adams
type for this season or just kind of hang on
to him and hope that you get another season or
two out of them. I traded for him this season,
but I didn't know whether to just get anything for

(52:03):
him that I can or hold on to him.

Speaker 2 (52:07):
Yeah, I mean, you're a contender for sure, so I
think you're probably just kind of holding on to him,
and DeVante still has a lot of immediate value. Kamara's
value is starting to get well. One thing is like
he does not he's not catching. He doesn't have the
same pass catching value in a Kellen Moore offense, And

(52:29):
it just seems like Kellen Moore's offenses don't get the
backs involved his pass catchers as much. So I don't
think he's going to go back to having that eighty
catch upside, but like he's still he's still getting lead
back work, but now they're starting to mix in Kendra
Miller Moore Asom Hills back and they always want to

(52:51):
get him.

Speaker 3 (52:52):
Carries for whatever reason. And uh yeah, So.

Speaker 2 (52:58):
The only thing is it does look like you're kind
of relying on him like sort of a regular. So
I'm not opposed to wouldn't be opposed to trading him.
You just don't seem to have a lot of options
right now, and this is a win now, Like, I
think your team is good enough to contend, so you're
probably just holding on to him.

Speaker 1 (53:20):
Yeah, I'm with Pat here Herbs, like I think maybe
you could do a Kamara and maybe sacrifice a pick
for next year since we talked about it twenty twenty
six class being a little bit down and try to
maybe upgrade there. But you really do need him, right,
I mean, you got Kenn Walker, you got Chase Brown
and JT.

Speaker 4 (53:38):
But but it feels like you do.

Speaker 1 (53:40):
Kind of need someone there to hold down the RB
two spot for the meantime. So I don't mind, you know,
Kamara plus something. But I also think like there's an
acknowledgment that we're probably selling Kamara. I mean low does
it get lower potentially, but there's also a chance eventually
maybe if he gets out of this offense.

Speaker 4 (53:56):
It could rebound it one day.

Speaker 5 (53:59):
Yeah, I got you, guys.

Speaker 6 (54:01):
Yeah, just kind of hoping for some trades around my
guys and hoping that, uh, some of the situations improved.

Speaker 5 (54:06):
But yeah, well appreciate it, guys.

Speaker 4 (54:09):
Yeah, thank you man, Matt.

Speaker 2 (54:11):
I hope for your sake, Flacco surprises us and dotm
third lease on life here.

Speaker 4 (54:17):
Let's go, Joe, we need you buy those.

Speaker 3 (54:21):
That's right, all right, thanks Herbs. All right, let's call
up Nick, Nick Randall.

Speaker 6 (54:29):
How's it going, guys?

Speaker 2 (54:30):
Can you?

Speaker 3 (54:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (54:32):
Nick?

Speaker 6 (54:33):
All right? So I was going back and forth with
Bunting in the chat a little bit ago. I don't
know if you guys kind of saw I can re
resend it, if that makes sense. But basically I was
I was offered a trade for Lamar Jackson and Jamar Chase,
and there was you know, four four picks involved three

(54:58):
twenty twenty six firsts and then a twenty twenty seven first,
and then he was going to send me back Jackson,
Dart and DK Metcalf. I know pretty much all those
guys kind of their value is a little bit lower,
but my team is kind of thin. And James Connor
went down and kind of kind of hurt my depth

(55:21):
for this year. So already at one in four, so
looking to kind of find a way to get back
in contention or maybe I just need to punt on
this season.

Speaker 2 (55:30):
All right, So I found the original you're you would
be receiving.

Speaker 3 (55:35):
Lamar and Chas are sending sending, and I'm not.

Speaker 6 (55:40):
I'm not feeling great about sending both of them. I
was thinking more about maybe I go deal one instead
of both, but I guess.

Speaker 2 (55:48):
Yeah, you're on that looking at yep, Yeah, I'm looking
at this deal. It's Lamar Jackson, Jamar Chase and in
return would be JJ McCarthy DK metcalf three twenty twenty
six first and at twenty twenty seven first.

Speaker 3 (56:07):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (56:09):
I think I think the owner is going to replace
Dart with with JJ McCarthy. But yeah, I mean yeah,
values on that.

Speaker 2 (56:19):
Yeah, So whether it's Darter McCarthy, I don't think it's enough.
I just think Jackson and Chase are you know, like
if you're rebuilding, I still think those guys are kind
of cornerstone pieces reasonably. You know, Jackson is in his
prime now and Chase is like early prime so still cornerstones,

(56:44):
and you know, you're getting three picks from what looks
like a bad draft, and you know, Dk Metcalf.

Speaker 3 (56:51):
Who's older, and then.

Speaker 2 (56:55):
Either of two young quarterbacks who we don't even know
if they're going to pan out or not. Yeah, oh
I yeah, I'm like I need a lot more to
part with both of those guys.

Speaker 3 (57:07):
I mean it's almost like.

Speaker 2 (57:11):
It's a fair offer for maybe Jess Jamar Chase, like
throwing in Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 3 (57:17):
Sure, I don't know, No, No.

Speaker 1 (57:20):
It feels like a long road to relevancy if you
do this trade. And I don't want to put you
behind the eight ball and you to continue to pay
those league dues if you know, we're waiting years and
years for those twenty twenty six picks to develop, especially
in a class that's a little bit underwhelming right now here.

Speaker 3 (57:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (57:37):
Yeah, And I dealt I dealt all of my twenty
twenty six picks to kind of stumble the roster I have.
So I kind of kind of followed the methodology that
you guys have kind of talked about throughout the episode.
But Connor went down and my roster is just just
kind of thin beyond those guys, and then obviously the

(57:58):
hamstring injury for Lamar kind of kind of punted my year.
So I guess probably it's more of a hold and
then look at next year or maybe I don't know
if there's any guys that you think that I could
trade for some depth pieces or something like that, But
I mean, yeah, you're probably right. I think this team
can compete at some point.

Speaker 3 (58:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (58:19):
I mean with those two guys, I think you're always
pretty close to being a contender, So I would be
disinclined to tar it down.

Speaker 4 (58:28):
Yeah, yeah, agreed.

Speaker 1 (58:30):
And you know you can go find some some running
back depth out there, right, I mean, Michael Carter just
popped up even on Dynasty Waiver Wires here last week.
There's you know, other situations too that could arise and
bring some surprising value to some running backs. So you know,
if you got to shell out, you know, another third
for twenty twenty six or you know, some of your
more death pieces to find some RB relevance for a

(58:51):
couple of weeks in plays at James Connor, I think
that's what you have to do. I'd rather do that
than go back the other direction. Just set myself back
a couple of years here.

Speaker 6 (59:01):
Okay, cool, Yeah, I just needed some you died to
talk to a couple of therapists maybe or something the situation.
That's great.

Speaker 4 (59:10):
We appreciate you. Yeah, I appreciate you, brother.

Speaker 3 (59:12):
Good rest of your day. All right.

Speaker 2 (59:16):
So we got one last one, the QB Killer, and
then we got a ron what's up Keller? Yeah, all right,
come on up QB Keller. All right, he is not
coming up.

Speaker 3 (59:30):
Oh there you go.

Speaker 4 (59:31):
What's going on? Man?

Speaker 3 (59:33):
Oh man? He can't figure out that? Oh my got it?

Speaker 5 (59:37):
Hey you were there.

Speaker 3 (59:38):
Yeah, we got here, we go all right.

Speaker 7 (59:41):
Uh, just drop my team in the chat there. Uh.
We are eighteen dynasty, pretty small league, but it's the
group of guys we had, and I've got a strong
contending team this year. But a little week at running
back depth, uh, and had Bucky go down. So looking

(01:00:01):
to move one of my wide receivers for a top
running back and wondering which one I should try to
move and maybe who should I target?

Speaker 2 (01:00:12):
Well, I mean, yeah, it is a really good team.
And you know, if you I don't know how long
Bucket's going to be out, if it's more the foot
or more the shoulder, that's going to keep him out.
But yeah, I mean you're kind of thin right now.
Although I think you could just get away with like
starting the guys you have and and.

Speaker 3 (01:00:31):
Oh you've got to got to start three running backs.
I see, that's interesting. That's the issue.

Speaker 2 (01:00:36):
Yeah, the hooted target is a never a question I
can answer, because that depends totally on like the other
teams whe they're there and win now mode. Like you're
probably looking for the running backs on teams that aren't
as good and are looking.

Speaker 3 (01:00:57):
To trade off assets for the future.

Speaker 2 (01:00:59):
So you know, find those teams and then look at
who they have at running back and that's sort of
your your target list.

Speaker 3 (01:01:07):
But whould I trade?

Speaker 2 (01:01:09):
The only thing is, like your your starting receivers are awesome,
your depth is they're a little jake too. I mean
you've got Marvin Harrison and Mechic Book of Michael Pittman,
Romo Dunsa and you know you guys have to start
three receivers.

Speaker 3 (01:01:27):
And then a couple of flexes too.

Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
So on the bench Pillman, Isaiah Bond, Gosh Downs, Kaisha
on booty.

Speaker 4 (01:01:41):
So I would say, t wide receiver, go ahead, start that.

Speaker 3 (01:01:45):
Oh no, go ahead? Well, yeah, one of the Colts.

Speaker 2 (01:01:49):
Yeah, you have Downs and Pittman. Yeah, so, I mean
I always think I tend to think Downs gets heavily
over value, and he's coming off a decent game. I
would see if you could maybe get like some committee
back for Downs that might be worth it. And oh,

(01:02:10):
let's see, you've got Lamb on IR.

Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
I mean that's the thing, man, You've got Lamb and
Bucky on IR and this team is just fine.

Speaker 4 (01:02:19):
Yeah, I like it.

Speaker 1 (01:02:20):
I like it, honestly, I understand the panic, but it's
still absolutely loaded.

Speaker 2 (01:02:26):
He's also got Keon Coleman on the taxi set Taxi
list seth, so maybe you could wave him around as
a potential useful piece to a rebuilder since Keon's only
in his second year.

Speaker 3 (01:02:39):
So yeah, there are options.

Speaker 2 (01:02:41):
I mean, I don't I don't know if you need
to go for another top running back, because I would
not want to sacrifice like Roma Dunze or a mechg
Buca to do it or Lamb, you know what I mean. Yeah,
so I would say, just maybe try to sort of
ham an egg at QB Killer until Bucky gets back.

Speaker 7 (01:03:03):
Yeah, well that sounds good. Maybe I'll maybe I'll just
ride it. Out and hopefully they'll come back here sooner
than later. Uh to know, I did get one offer
scat in a twenty seven first for Igbuca, and it's tempting.
I just I'm not sure if I want to give
Igbuka up.

Speaker 4 (01:03:21):
I can't do it.

Speaker 3 (01:03:23):
I don't think I could do it either.

Speaker 2 (01:03:25):
As much as I'm excited about that twenty twenty seven class,
and like Skataboo, Buka has just been so good. I mean,
I think he's like, yeah, we've got him as a
top ten dynasty receiver right now?

Speaker 7 (01:03:38):
Old, all right, sounds great. Appreciate you guys.

Speaker 3 (01:03:41):
Yes, tempting, all right, can you do one more? Seth?
And then we got to get out of here. Yep,
I got all right, yo, pac go of.

Speaker 1 (01:03:50):
Course Packers fan cateren the Packers fan here.

Speaker 3 (01:03:53):
That's right, that's right.

Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
I cannot deny my my fellow Packers fan. So okay,
our last last good on man, pretty good man.

Speaker 8 (01:04:05):
I just uh, I just wanted to to ask about
moving a couple of uh bums as I see him
off of the off the roster here.

Speaker 6 (01:04:16):
Not.

Speaker 8 (01:04:16):
I actually feel really pretty good about this. I just
dropped it back in the in the in the chat there.
I feel pretty good about this team, but it has
not been pretty my running back room, and so I
have a lot of what it's as you'll see you
on my bench there, the brusha Smith's of the World, Ja,
Cory Krossky Mara, the two ins, a bunch of a
bunch of could be no real, no real rs at

(01:04:38):
this time. So I'm falling tenth out of twelve pretty quick.
Got a great receiving cores, but because of the way
running backs are, there's not really been anybody willing to
come off their running backs. I r after injury after injury,
so I'm looking at it pretty much just kind of
fall out of contention at this point. Unfortunately, I have

(01:05:01):
Trevi on who Rabel seems to hate, and I don't
believe in Remandre, and I don't believe in Kenny gain Will.
He was never the guy in Philly. I don't think
he'll be the guy in Pittsburgh. So I's going to
feel to offer just to get rid of both of
them for a couple of twenty six thirds, which I
know we're a little lower on, but I think I
think if I just I don't know, go ahead and
kick to the future, get a couple of those guys off,

(01:05:21):
my roster might be better long term because I keep
playing Ormandre or I play them and inevitably it's not helped.
So I just figure it might be better to kind
of clean the deck a little bit, if you will.

Speaker 2 (01:05:33):
Yeah, I mean, if you make that deal, you're you're
committing to the rebuild, I guess, And yeah, to twenty
twenty six thirds, And that's almost how I'd rather play
the twenty twenty six draft. Just get like volume and
take shots at like third rounders.

Speaker 3 (01:05:50):
So I'm okay with something like that.

Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
Like Gainwell had a nice game a couple of weeks ago,
and Remandre has been scoring touchdowns in this time share.
But yeah, I don't think either of those guys have
are going to be real consequential for you or anyone else.

Speaker 3 (01:06:06):
In the future. So I'm okay with something like that.
But yeah, it's too bad.

Speaker 2 (01:06:10):
You do have a really nice team, and you know,
I think you're probably going to be a contender in
twenty twenty six if you can just figure out a
way to add like a couple of backs and take
some shots in the rookie draft.

Speaker 1 (01:06:26):
Yeah, there'll be some guys like you know, I don't
want to completely poo poo the twenty twenty six classes
not great for running backs, but like Nick Singleton's gonna
be out there, he will probably be right up in
there in the top three potentially as well. So like
there'll be guys, and I see you already have a
couple of twenty twenty six first too, and adding some
depth there in the third round. I mean, look like

(01:06:47):
like Bill Krofsky Mayor, he was the guy going undrafted
sometimes in rookie drafts this past year. So I think
there are plenty of opportunities for you to get back
invested in the running back position. It just you know,
might take sacrificing someone like from and or Kenny gain
Will to do it, which I'm more than fine to,
you know, send them to the slaughterhouse at this point
if you would.

Speaker 8 (01:07:06):
Perfect is this is the same league I got offered
Caleb Johnson and Golden for JCM, So I figured if
I make both of these deals, it's essentially going to
kind of put me down, if you will, for twenty five.
But maybe Caleb Johnson can have some type of resurgence
next year, and then I have a couple of first
and a couple thirds in the clip.

Speaker 4 (01:07:24):
Love it all right, man, I appreciate you guys.

Speaker 3 (01:07:27):
You have a great day. Yeah, all right, yeah, appreciate
you doing paco.

Speaker 4 (01:07:31):
