mock draft show. Based on the NFL Draft being done,
we can now look forward to our redraft leagues, not
just dynasty around these parts, and of course to help

know why Bogs wanted the twelve spot, because he's gonna
probably gonna look at some Henry gent d CMC combination there.
It's gonna be completely brutal. I know it. After I
took Jamar Chase, Saquan goes one oh two, Team three

takes Bejon Robinson Jefferson to the four, Florio, that puts
you at the five spot. Very tempting issue here. You
came in at the four and he decided to go
right next to Derek Brown. I hope you don't regret

mocks already. And the one thing I continue to find
is if I don't get wide receivers early, by like
the fifth round, I hate all the wide receivers that
are left. So and I know maybe this is partly
because people drafting now are like us. They're they're fantasy
football die hards and h people who are this into

it are they They have strategies where you know you're
loading up on wide receivers early and stuff. But yeah,
to me, if you don't grab your first couple of
wide receivers early. You're gonna feel pretty thin at the position,
I think, whereas running back I think is deeper than ever,
or deeper than it's been in quite some time, so
I don't mind waiting as much there. But mainly I

really should have picked the guy who went six, because yes,
I would take CD over him, but I just want
to stick it to deepro Ah.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Well, there you go. So you took CD Lamb that
was the pick at one oh five, and uh, look,
I think that you have to like the addition of
George Pickens there to kind of free up Lamb a
little bit more. You hope that Dak Prescott can have
a bounce back all of those those fun platitudes that
we're all thinking this time of year. But to your point, Flora,
that's why I keep taking Chase it the one still,
because when it comes back to me, I just don't

like the rest of the bills and those wide receivers
that make it back as much as I can stomach
some of the rbs, especially as we get later into
the rounds, some of these rookie running backs that I
like a lot this year, I think there's some value there,
de bro that put you on the clock for one
oh six. So who did you end up selecting?

It's Pooka Chewice all the time, baby, I had to
go Pooka Nakoula. I mean, you're looking at And there
was a lot of guys that I could make a
case for here. I could have gone Brian Thomas Junior,
could have gone CD, could have gone Pooka, And that's
where I ultimately landed on. Come on, guys, like, if
Stafford's fully healthy, this is still I don't I don't
care that DeVante Adams landed there. This is still a
consolidated offense. Both these guys are gonna get one hundred

and fifty one hundred and sixty targets. Nikou was the
wide receiver two and fantasy points per game this year,
and that was only scoring four touchdowns last year. So like,
he's got wide receiver one overall upside, And if you're
taking a wide receiver in the first round of your draft,
they have to have wide receiver one overall upside in
the range of outcomes for me to really be interested.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Florio, While I got you here on the show for
the next though, I don't know our question for you,
sak On Barkley with the touches last year, we were
always practice the the code of when you have over
four hundred touches in a year, the next year doesn't
go very well. The data really supports that. Do you
have that fear with Barkley who also has injury history?

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Yes, not only does he have injury history and the
historical data on all of that he had. I think
it's I don't remember the exact number, but it's something
around one hundred more touches last season when you encounter
the playoffs than any season in his career. So there's
a lot kind of working against him there. And on

NFL Fantasy Football Show, all of us are like fading Saquon,
and we keep like the way we address Saquon is
we're like, look, we know he's gonna be a top pick.
He's not gonna be any of our top picks, but
like we know he's going to be top five. We're
just advocating that our listeners and your listeners today are
not the ones doing so because one, the wide receivers early,

but two lot of risks there and I'm never a
fan of paying for a career year because Saquon is
not going to duplicate what he did last season well.

And I wanted to address that too, because I know
at the top I was mentioning Chase Er Robinson being
my two choices at the one pick, and to me,
those are the two choices at the Olympick. And for
all the reasons that Florio laid out, let's get a
recap here or the rest of this first round. Jamior
Gibbs goes one oh seven. Nice election there. Then at
eight we have Onman Rossaint Brown, Devon eight, Chan all
the way at nine intriguing there in the PPR. And

then you got Malik Neighbors, Nico Collins, Scott Bogman at
the turn. What does it look like, Buddy.

Brian Thomas Junior for one, Like Florio said, you have
to it's an arms race at wide receiver. You just
have to keep pace. So if you're picking on the end,
I think one of those selections has to be a
wide receiver. So Brian Thomas Junior highest on my bord
on one with him, and then the rookie Aston genty
to the Raiders. I just think he's gonna have well
over three hundred touches. He resets the entire offense for

that team, and Gino Smith the way he plays quarterback.
If I'm running that system, I'm heading the ball off
to a Ton. So I just think we've seen him
take the workload of Boise State. He was picked inside
the top ten for this reason right here, So Ashton
Genty kind of an easy pick for me at the
end here.

Did you die a little bit inside to not take
genty ed McCaffrey because I know you?

No, I look, I love McCaffrey. He's done well for
a long time, and that's a pick that I'm absolutely
going to be right about for the rest of my
life with him coming into the league. But it's time.
I don't believe anything the Niners say about him. How
could you after last year? Right like, how could you
believe a thing that they say about him? So I

just I'm not going to be drafting Christian McCaffrey probably
in many leagues at all this time.

Then Christian McCaffrey, Lad McConkie, AJ Brown, Drake London, Rock Bowers.
So if you're wondering where Brock Bowers is going, he

that bothered you or not that Bowers went. I don't
know if he was on your radar. I know you're

I was in between two different running backs, and I
want to put this on record. I'm totally fine investing
again in Derrick Henry this year. He's an outlier. Dude's
gonna be an RB one until he decides to hang
up the cleat, so I'm not worried about him. But
I did go Bucky Irving here at this point, and
again it was Henry versus Irving for me, and the
differentiator for me because I have these two guys back

to back, and I actually have Henry above Irving right now,
but the back the differentiator for me is I could
see him more of a pass game ceiling for Irving,
where Henry we kind of know we're getting there, especially
with Lamark quarterbacks so Irving, I just took the shot
because RB six and Fantasy points per game, his pass
game ceiling goes up this year. If the backfield is

fully his maybe shades even more in his direction in
twenty twenty five. I mean he could be a top
three running back, all right, So interesting assessment there. So
passing on Derek han Henry and Michael Florio, you did not.
I wouldn't either. I can't believe Henry lasted this long.
I don't care if it's PPR yards of yards, touchdowns
or touchdowns. So Derek Henry two. Oh wait, let's get

your take on that pick.

Yeah. I agree with de Bro like I have to
me where I use the age and the falloff concerns
are debating between two closely ranked players, right and like
like Bucky Irving makes sense, or like I have like
Ashton Genzy, like I know a lot of people do
ahead of Derrick Henry for those reasons. But at this point,

the later portion of the second round, I'm like, look,
he's still gonna be tied to Lamar Jackson offense, right,
so he's still gonna get fewer stack boxes and he's
still gonna be on one of the highest scoring offenses
in football. So yeah, even if he slows down from
what his pace was last year, okay, he'll be top
six running back like I believe in him. But I

will say I wanted to take another receiver here. I
just didn't like any of the ones left. I really
thought McConkie would be there. He's getting pulled up higher
and higher. But I love lad McConkie in the middle
to later portion of round two.

All right, So there you have it, everybody, let's continue
to recap. So the picks here on the board. After
Bucky Irving and Derek Henry go Tyreek Hill goes at
two nine to ten, Tray McBride to eleven, Jackson Smith
and Jigba and then it's back to me Boggs. While
I'm making my picks question for you, Tyreek Hill at
two oh nine value or trap.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Ah Man Tyreek Hill so hard to figure out. I'll
say Trap. I've been a Tyreek Hill guy for a
long time. I just I don't know about this offense.
I don't know about this coaching staff. Tyreek still has it,
you know, he seems to keep making these mistakes off
the field as well. It's just I'm I'm not going

to invest in Tyreek Hill in the second round. If
who falls to the third, I'll think about.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
It all right. My picks are in so in the
rap around here at the end of two twelve, in
the beginning of three oh one, I took Garrett Wilson,
the number one guy for Justin Fields and the Jets,
and maybe the only target at the end of the day.
But we know when Field locks in on a guy,
that's his dude. We saw it with DJ Moore, we
saw it in a short sample with George Pickens, and

I saw it in a larger sample size on a
place called the Ohio State University. So I feel pretty
good about this Garrett Wilson pick here. He was still
a top twelve wide receiver last year. So regardless of
all the downs of the Jets offense, Josh Jacobs are
three to ozho one, I'm gonna go ahead and take
my RB there. That was tempted to take Higgins too.
Then you have that whole debate within yourself. Do you
want Chase n Higgins is probably enough to go around.

(13:34):
I'd just taken Higgins and Chase Brown, just take the
Bengals and just hope for Joe Burrow in the fourth round.
There's lots of ways I could have gone there. You
know what, if there was gonna be one offense that
I would be okay just doing that with I think
it would be the Bengals. The defense still stinks.

You don't think they fix the whole defense by one pick?
That's holding out.

I don't think they fixed any of the defense. How
about that? How about that it's gonna take a step further.
Davante Adams goes at three zero two. That was a
big temptation as well. Taylor three to Zho three, Chase
Brown three h four. Michael Floro, you are back up
and you went running back here as well.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
Yeah. I know I keep saying like I want receivers early,
but I was looking at the names on the board. Hypocrite, Yeah,
I know, right, but I do think this is a
lesson and like you should be willing to pivot because
I was looking at the receivers on the board and look,
you mentioned T Higgins. I have a hard time pulling
T Higgins up this high. I understand that he deserves

to go this high, and the like the Bengals offense
is going to go off probably again because of how
poor that defense is. But like he did things last
year that he has never done before. I still have
concerns about all the games that he has missed in
recent years. Terry McLaurin was actually the receiver that I
was debating taking here. But I still feel like Brece

(14:47):
Hall has the most upside there. And I believe the
Jets offense could reach a new level with Justin Fields
and the new play caller here, So it was hard
for me to pass up on the upside of Breese Hall.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Yeah. Tennor Engstrom, who comes over from the Detroit Lions,
is the new OC followed Aaron Glenn there, and look,
you know that's why I'm so worried about the Lions,
because not only did they lose their offensive coordinator, but
they lest the second in command too, and the head coach.
I was gonna say, the offensive coordinator now goes in
your division, So you got to change a lot of things.
You know. That's just a big overhaul of an offense.

(15:23):
For me. It's a little too big at times. Breest
Hall goes o deebro that put you up at three
zero six.

Yeah, there's a lot of different guys, I could have
gone with this one.

I went with Mike Evans.

Look, come on, guys, on a per route basis, he
showed no falloff. I know that we could talk about
getting older hamstring issues. If he's healthy, he's gonna be
a wide receiver one. We know what this looks like
the Buccaneers offense. And I'm not worried about the addition
to Mecca Buka taking away targets away from Mike Evans.
I'm not worried about that at all. So going with
Evans here where I looked at the rest of the

wide receivers and running backs on the board, he just
seemed like the guy that was staying out to me.

Josh Allen goes at three oh seven, Rush he ries

So wow, big drop off for him there. Lamar Jackson

at three ten, I would still take Lamar over Josh Allen.

every year is the opposite, and every year the point

and Terry mcclaurin one of them, which I absolutely love.

Yeah, Kyron Williams the other one here. But my thought
process was like, maybe Mike Evans falls to me, Debro
took him right, and then I was like, okay, well
I'll probably get one of my top three qbs here
and then they all went right before my pick, so
I decided to pivot from QB. I went with Kyron
just to add to that running back room the Rams, yes,

they drafted jar Quest Hunter, they saw Blake Korum, but
they tend to go with one guy and give him
the rock a bunch. I think I have two guys
that carry the ball a lot, with Jensy and Kyron
here and then t Mac just the best wide receiver
on my board. And as we mentioned, it's an arms
race a wide receiver you have to keep pace here.
So I went with t Mak another number one.

Okay, next up than George Kittle at four h two,
Ken Walker four oh three, Jalen Hurts at four oh four,
Alvin Kamarat four, followed by DJ Moore. De bro back

What I'm getting out of this player, and I think
you kind of gets he's very underrated. I mean wide
receiver fifteen twenty wide receiver fourteen finishes of the last
three seasons. We know we're gonna get wide receiver production
to wide receiver production out of DeVonta Smith. I mean,
come on, man, as my wide receiver three on this team.

Michael Florio, You're up next, and your selection was a
guy was very high on last year, and he got
real good at running. That's what he got real good at. Yeah,
wish the rowtree was a little bit had a couple

looking for from that tree. But let's talk about Marvin
Harrison at four oh eight.

Yeah, I think a big part of what holds him
back is also Kyler Murray. Like, I know it's easy
to blame Marvin Harrison Junior solely, but I just don't.

Oh no, I want to blame Kyler Murray.

Yeah. I don't think Kyler has outside of the one
year with d Hop, has ever shown us that he
can really elevate a wide receiver talent. But I'm sitting
there at four to h eight. Some of the names
that I would have loved to fall to me, I
mentioned like Terry McLaurin, but I didn't think he would.
DJ Moore was one I was I was really hoping
fell to me. But at this point here, I'm looking

at the names and I'm like, I'm a little bit
behind the eight ball at wide receivers, so I want upside,
and I still believe Marvin Harrison Junior brings a really
high ceiling. I mean, we talk about an eight hundred
yard eight touchdown season like it was awful. So like, yeah,
I mean, I still think he would have surprised me
if he's aenty ten this year. So and I'd still

think there's room for growth on top of that. So
I needed upside and he kind of fits the bill there.

after Harrison TJ Hawkinson at four oh nine, Joe Mixon
at four to ten, Travis Hunter at four eleven, and
then yeah boy, Michael Florio fell into my lap. James
Cook after a huge season. Can he repeat the touchdown total?
Probably not, but that's okay because I feel pretty good
about Cook's usage in this offense from what I saw
last year. And you know what, I just couldn't pass.

I was going to take another wide receiver. I'll probably
regret this. I ended up taking Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase.
That pairing. I think there could be some really good
days there where I'm going to ruin someone's Sunday with
that duo. That's just how I feel about it. Chewbahabber

five oh three. DK Metcalf at five oh four with
