it might be the most amount of people we've talked
to all year long that are in here, except in
some of the preseason stuff. But we are jamful, the
(00:24):
most hands I've seen begin If you don't know what
I mean by that is we it's like this live

So don't just join a great community, but be a
part of that great community at fantasypros dot com slash chat.
Andrew Erickson, we have already been having fun before the
show started, so we had to now bring the fun
to the show. I was telling this story of this
wild pick that I got that was up for three minutes,
and we were talking about Josh Downs versus who is
(01:28):
it No, Michael Pittman versus Jalen Wattle. We were doing
like a show before the show today.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Yeah, we do a show, show, a showb a show.
We do a show before the show, and then we
do a show after the show where we always talk
about some of our favorite bets. A lot of those
have hit those ever since some of our greatest takes
have you come behind the scenes, So how do you
get access to the after dark special between Welsh and
ericson as you hop into Discord, Baby Let's go.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
When, by the way, two or three weeks that has hit.
Last week looked like we were trending. First catch for
Dave devon Acham was one for twenty two and then
it just kind of like tapered down obviously because that
offense was a little bit lower. I imagine we're going
to have some Tyreek Hill questions ericson you co signed
with me on Twitter. We did the Buy Sell trade show.
(02:13):
We were talking also before the show about kind of
the Tyreek Hill stuff. You're kind of fully in with me,
and you know, just to kind of maybe set the stage.
I will say it became a very polarizing kind of
Internet conversation simply because you know your thing. By the way,
I don't know if you know this. I meant to
text you about this. Did you know your tweet alone
(02:33):
gained me like one hundred plus followers just by adding
me on the tweet. You didn't do anything. You literally
just said Welsh has me convinced, And it was like
hundreds of people were following me. I got the Andrew
Erickson spillover, but in it there was just a lot
of conversation around Tyreek Hill. Because I'm a very firm buyer,
You're a very firm buyer. But he is polarizing in
(02:56):
that like You're balancing this great track record and history
of being maybe one of the best receivers in football,
as I mentioned on the show, forty four plus touchdowns,
and you have subpar quarterback play. But you're also people
are basing this like why would you buy Tyreek Hill
even though he's been the best forever off of one
(03:16):
game that had a short like one week transfer from
Tua to Skyler Thompson who then got hurt to Tim Boyle,
And you're looking at a six point eight to a
dot for Tyreek Hill and being like, well, I don't know.
I just you're gonna have to sell me more. And
it's like, I don't have to sell you more. He's
quarterback proof. He's Tyreek Hill, and if he's not, I'll
just be wrong. But like many other players have been
(03:39):
elite fantasy options, I'm going on and on about it.
It was just a really interesting kind of dynamic that
happened on Twitter. And I know you were kind of
following me with it.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
Well, yeah, because I wanted to make sure I gave
you credit first and foremost, because you were the one
that brought it up on the show that we talked
about Tyreek Hill, and I hadn't thought about Tyry Kill
because usually when I'm trying to think of Bilos, I was, honestly,
I kind of wasn't even thinking about Terry Kell as
and even an option. Sure, I wasn't looking that high
up on the wide receiver rankings for my potential target
(04:10):
of a wide receiver because I ended up going with
Jayden Reid. But Tyreek Hill, Yeah, he checks off the
box of a player that has underperformed in back to
back weeks. But we kind of know the reason why.
But the price that you're asking for Tyreek Hill is
so far away from where you drafted that player. And
it's that's why again I'm not recommending anyone to trade
(04:31):
away Tyreek Hill. Again, there are certain values where yes
you can. If someone's I want to trade tyryk Kill
to get Justin Jefferson, find I'll take Justin Jefferson. Yeah,
that's the trade I would make to be on the
opposite side of Hill.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Well, you know the other one too, just to add
was we had a couple people unfortunately, and this is
where things get stuck. They're like, oh man, this is
great to hear. I just traded uh Rashid Rice for
Tyreek Hill and oh man, I just traded Nico Collins
and we were like, no, no, no, no, no, those are
If I could trade Tyreek Hill to get those guys,
you're then kind of mitigating the risk that's going on.
The real conversation is more about that. People are like,
(05:07):
we've got Tyreek Kill belongs on the twenties and like
he has the worst quarterback. And it's like, okay, now
we're talking. If you could treat Drake London to get
Tyreek Kill, that's I think a better conversation.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Yeah, I agree, And again it's all specific to your league,
because in your specific league, the Tyreek Hill manager may
not be freaking out and they'd be like, no, I
know Tyry Hill is a stud and I'm not worried
about this, and I think two is going to come back.
There's no harm in just trying to see what the
market value is on that player in that specific league,
and if it's not, then go look for another trade,
(05:37):
Go get Jade Reid. Then again, these aren't definitive statements
you have to do or else you're going to lose
your fantasy league. It's hey, these are interesting, polarizing players
that we're seeing a market fluctuation with their price, go ask,
go see what the player is value it as.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
I completely agree. And by the way, your Jayden Reid
one was a killer one. Go and listen to the
episode if you haven't. By by Trade, by Cell Hold,
I keep forgetting the the structure of it. But Ryan Wormley,
Ericson and myself buy Hold sell show that we do
on Tuesdays, and then I want to get to the audience.
But playing Devil's advocate a little bit, what do you
(06:13):
need or what do you think the user needs? For
the people that get critical of this. Someone in the
chat was just like, hey, by the way, I don't
even know any one of my leagues that are selling
Tyreek Hill, Like, yeah, I think that is kind of
the consensus. But when you put it out there and
then people get kind of like a little pissy about it, like, oh, well,
give me all the stuff. What is it you think
that people need to hear of why Tyreek Hills to sell?
(06:36):
Because you maybe could chalk it up And I actually
kind of said this on that show we did. I
was like, hey, listen, there's a laziness to this a
bit because we are saying, like by the way he's awesome.
Tyreek Hill has been an elite and one of the
fastest players in the NFL, one of the biggest and
most explosive wide receivers. He he has been a top
guy forever. And if you can talk about Jamar Chaser,
(06:59):
Justin Jefferson, if you can talk about these guys as
being quarterback proof, why can't he? But people really feel
that they needed something. So the question to you is
what do you think someone needs to hear when they're like, well,
what's the reason behind it?
Speaker 2 (07:13):
Yeah, that's the loaded question, right, trying to explain to
the person when you're trying to make a trade, this
is why you need to do this is why you
need to do that.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
I'm not even saying to the person you're trying to
trade for. I'm talking to the kind of critic out
there that's like, okay, well, give me the reasons why
you would be a buyer of Tyreek Hill, Like, what
is the specific thing that they're looking for? Because that's
why I think the flaw is is what's the thing
we know the most about a player like that, we
know he is an elite fantasy player. What is the
thing that's in our face a quarterback change and really
(07:45):
poor results fifteen percent target rate in Week three under
those two messy quarterbacks under that short week. It's like
you have these two things that are kind of competing
against each other. Yet people are still like, well, give
me the reason. And that's kind of where I'm curious
if there's something you think out there that like what
what what would be the stat what would be the
thing that's going to motivate someone that's like, oh, okay,
(08:05):
well now you've sold me.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Yeah, so and do you are you do you want
me to dive specifically with the Tyreek or just kind
of like you're speaking more in general, right, I mean.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
If you have really anything, I just love to your
take on it. Like you can speak, you could literally
dive into the thing that you think it is. But
I am curious that, like, what would be the answer
that there's a semi general, semi like direct question I'm
asking you.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
I guess for me, it's I think it's definitely more
about the player than like the situation, right, because that's
the reason, because it's easier to identify the situation, I think,
than how talented a player is. And maybe it's not
that black and white. But I think that we over
evaluate an overanalyzed situation sometimes where we know, oh, this
is gonna be bad situation, it's gonna be a good situation,
(08:52):
and then we see things play out it doesn't matter, right,
It's like, oh, whoa, what do you know? The best
player ended up still producing. And I think that's why
going back to or we kind of originally started, was
because he's Tyreek Hill, Right, that's why you want to
go by Terry because it's Tyreek Kill. You're just pushing
your chips on a guy who's been the most talented,
the highest scoring fantasy producer over the last couple of years,
(09:14):
and that he's not just gonna totally fall to the wayside.
And maybe if he's not the number one, well, I
still think he's going to be top ten guy. And
because of the market value change with that certain player,
well does his managers to value him as a top
ten And if anything, all it does is it makes
him not untouchable anymore. Right, last year, for example, with McCaffrey,
(09:36):
you could give me any deal for McCaffrey that would
probably make my roster, I would just say no, Right,
Why why would I? Cary to the best player, right,
it's a great place. It doesn't it doesn't even matter.
He was untouchable and that was Tyreek Hill last year
when he was healthy, right before he was injured, he
was untouchable. You can get an untouchable player ceiling with
Tyreek Hill. And the fact of the matter that the
two thing as well, he's gonna I think that he's
(09:58):
gonna come back, which is not originally what I thought.
And there's people that don't think that at all. There
are people think he's never gonna play ever football ever again.
And if that person is in your league and owns Tyreek,
they probably don't want to have Tyreek on their team.
So that's would be the opportunity to go and buy
a player. I think it's just a matter of just
looking at where the players value by that certain person
and where you value them. And that's why I think
(10:18):
the rest of the season rankings are a really good
tool to use. I know, at least when I'm doing them,
I'm trying to kind of get an idea of what
the markets price on this player is. Again, you have
to lower players that are coming off bad performances. Is
just how the trades work. If you're coming off a
bad week, it's just easier for a person to want
to trade you away and you're easier to attain versus
a player coming off a good week when they scored
(10:39):
a bunch of touchdowns. Again, it's funny talk about the
Terry McLaurin thing, right, and how his value is spiked
because of that one catch, right, the one deep ball
he go if he doesn't catch that, we're talking about
Al McLaurin or well, so that was a horrible call
to tell people to buy Tarry mclaurran, But because he
caught the pass, Like, oh, that was a great Again,
I think your process was sound either way. But we
are so reactctionary to the results, even though we try
(11:03):
to hit home it's about the process, right, Yeah, if
you buy enough assets at a value, you're going to
come out in the green. That's kind of the process again,
why we're going after tyro kill, why buying woe works.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
I love that you said that. I think that was
just so well said to close it out, because at
the end of the day, the tyreek Kill argument, it's
the process. It's like, well, we have a track record
of knowing who this guy is. His talent is unspoken for.
There is a question that's surrounded him. But the process
of playing fantasy football, it's like we're willing to take
that shot and assuming that this team can fix it
(11:37):
and get him to ninety percent of Tyreek Hill. Ninety
percent is a top ten wide receiver, one hundred percent
is the best receiver. Those are the type of guys
to take bet on. So very well, said Ericson. Hopefully
you guys enjoyed that, just kind of like as a
piggyback to the other part of the episode and just
some of the intertwinings of it. But let's get to
oh and also just a shout out too as you
(11:58):
were mentioning, check out the tools this process too, because
if you check out my playbook, my playbook has got
the waiver Analyzer, the trade Assistant that's going to get
you going on. Maybe I flip those the waiver Assistant
and the trade analyzer. But also there are some other
cool tools. We just released this brand new one that
will he Play, which is this data based system that's
(12:20):
put to players and their percentages of being able to play.
Plus you can check who are players that are getting
trades in leagues it's really like the best, So go
and check it out. Download my playbook today or go
to fantasypros dot com slash my playbook. Let's get to
the audience podcasts of the people. We went so long
without talking to everybody, and let's go to our hollow
night brother chinser.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
Hey, guys, you cool if I drop a bunch of
waterle on Thursday night question on you.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Luckily?
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Please two things. One is I want to put my
roster in the chat. I want to see what you
guys think because I'm one and two. But I'm probably
taking it just now of kopium because I think my
team is still good.
Speaker 4 (13:02):
Okay, but like first, first, let me let me hit
you with.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
A a quick rant on Zamir White. This guy has
got to be just the most pointless individual. He gets
the early down carries, he has no passing upside, and
he doesn't get anything on the in the red zone,
Like do the end zone? They're giving that away to Madison, Like,
what is the purpose of this guy? I've never heard
(13:28):
of an early down back that does not get the
red like the touchdown carries.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Like, well, that's definitely not an uncalled listing. I think
some of that is about peer. Like Pierce talked out
of both sides of his mouth. What do you say
last week? He's like, man, we gotta get him the ball,
like we got to get in the ball more, we gotta.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
Get try to get the ball. He just he did
get game I mean he's so he's very game script dependent.
He only can get the ball in between the twenties
when they're winning.
Speaker 3 (13:52):
So I read game script. What gameship could have been
better than playing the Panthers? I mean that was unbelievable.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
Yeah, and then Madison. Madison is just a problem. He's
just one of those He's gonna be annoying player. He's
going to take those goal line carries one carry and
one touchdown.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
That that's Maddison has outscoreds the Mirror every single week.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
That's ridiculous here, that's stupid. And and what is White
had like a three to one carry ratio two maybe four.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
But that just goes to show you how invaluable harries
are in fantasy outside the red zone. And he doesn't
get targets. So it's just, yeah, he's getting the least
amount of valuable work you could you could ask for
in fantasy football.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
Yeah, what was the other one? Schinzo. I'm looking at
your lineup here, Alan Pollard, Robinson, Olave read pitch. You
got a Manra in your flex or however you want to,
you know, Jane Read in your flex and a Mona
in there, A couple of good bench backs. What's the
what's the question on the roster?
Speaker 2 (14:45):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (14:45):
So I'm one in two and I'll caveat that. I've
lost my games by a total of nine points. So
I don't think my team is bad, but one and
two you wouldn't. I'm looking at my thing, my team.
I can't think of a great place to up. I
feel like it seems like a hold, but you know
it'll hold too long and get to like one in three,
one and four. So I don't know if you guys don't
(15:07):
to see you guys would make any moves of this
or just hold for now and assume as long as
a mere white, I'm not going to play him unless
I have to. But is there anything you look to
improve here?
Speaker 2 (15:16):
Do you think it's fine?
Speaker 1 (15:17):
I mean, Erickson will be the important one on this,
that'll be who everybody wants to hear. But I'd say,
you know you don't. You don't have an inspiring bench
of trade options, and I think the only guy that's
probably you can get over value for right now is
a guy like Brian Robinson. So I'm probably holding across.
I actually think like this is going to be a
decent Kyle Pitts week, Erickson talked about buying on Jane Reid.
(15:41):
I talked about, you know, buying in or just being
in on Olave. Last week you got this is a
pretty core US team ericson what do you think?
Speaker 2 (15:48):
Yeah, I think that the only move you could make
is if you're trying to upgrade, you'd have to use
Brian Robinson. Echoes out this week, So again a selling
point where oh, he's gonna get all touches, which we
don't actually know. If that's try you can see more
of Jeremy McNichols or Rodriguez, So maybe packaging him with
someone like Kirk or something like that. Kirk coming off
of a decent game where he had a bunch of targets.
(16:09):
They're playing the Texans, So that's how I would approach it.
Trying to upgrade running back, But again I'm not I
got to get Brian Robinson off your roster. Yeah, I
don't feel that way. I feel like, oh, if there's
an opportunity for you to upgrade maybe a little bit,
get up to somebody else, that's great. But again I
think I like Robinson a lot, so I don't want
to jump ship off of Robinson. So yeah, mostly a hold. Again,
(16:31):
it's it's a lot of work to go through trade.
So if it's going to take you an hour try
to come to the trade, I would just stay put
and use your mind capacity elsewhere.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
Yeah, I'm not looking for an upgrade with a double
du stun the Black Raptor back in the house. What's
up stun ready?
Speaker 5 (16:48):
So am you going to send my team into the chef?
Speaker 6 (16:51):
I am in a a ten team full PPR league,
and I know you guys well specifically said that you
would basically trade anyone for Tyreek Hill.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
Would you trade almost.
Speaker 5 (17:05):
Across almost anything? Would you trade away H for Tyreek?
Speaker 3 (17:08):
With the situation I'm in, I'm one and two and
I really basically need to win this week, what are
your thoughts?
Speaker 1 (17:16):
Nope, I'm not trading ah Chan. I'm h as a
guy who would trade almost anything for him on the bench.
You've got McLaurin, it's a solid Christian Watson week if
Love is back. If you were to trade, and for
everybody listening, if you were to trade a Chan, you've
also got mix and hurt Connor, it's not bad Connor
(17:37):
Robinson do go into that running back position and then
you have two flex and a wide receiver that open
up and as of right now, McLaurin, Kirk and Watson
could fill in there. I think you just put yourself
in too much of a hole at the running back position.
I guess it's not far off, but I personally feel
like a Chan just kind of tose that line of
(17:58):
the type of player. I'm not trying to trade for Tyreek.
It doesn't represent the true by low nature of him.
But I don't know, what do you what do you
think ericson? You trade a Chan for Tyrek?
Speaker 4 (18:08):
Here?
Speaker 2 (18:08):
No, because if we're redrafting today and let's say Tua
never gets hurt, where would a Chan go ahead of
Tyree kills? That's kind of my point. I think that
he might just after that.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
Sorry again, if Tuo was back and we were redrafting,
would HM be top five RB?
Speaker 7 (18:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (18:29):
Oh no doubt top three? Yeah? I mean, it depends
on the how people feel about the breeze Hall Braylon
Allen thing. Bijon is getting good usage, he just really
hasn't like delivered yet. And then Saques obviously the one
that's probably risen the most would be like an obvious
top five probably four, then M four, so I think,
But I mean A Chan or Jonathan Taylor. I mean
(18:52):
John JT hasn't. I mean JT's been good, but not
until level what we saw on that Thursday night game
with a Chan, which we're getting to. It didn't play
that entire game. So now I think, especially given his roster,
or given the roster here you have, you can fill
in it running back. But yeah, I don't know if
I need I need Hill here, because you can fill
(19:14):
in McLaurin like you said, Kirk Watson and down like
you have guys, you can. You can kind of ride
the ship with a little bit here. And also you
gotta keep in mind Miami has a bye week coming up, too,
so yeah, to keep in mind.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
I like it. Corn Wallace, corn Wallace, what do you got?
Speaker 4 (19:32):
Hey?
Speaker 8 (19:33):
What's up?
Speaker 7 (19:33):
Guys?
Speaker 1 (19:33):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (19:35):
So?
Speaker 7 (19:35):
Uh?
Speaker 8 (19:36):
I have been struggling mightily at quarterback position this year,
and I wanted to bounce a couple of scenarios off you.
Speaker 7 (19:43):
I'm also adding my roster to the chat.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
Okay, yeah, am I gonna see Anthony Richardson as your quarterback?
Speaker 7 (19:49):
When I got I wrapped in Trevor Lawrence and I
don't want to talk about it.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
I'm so sorry you need you know what. I'm gonna
prescribe one dose of Sam Darnold and if you're feeling
any extra symptoms, please take in Andy Dalton late at night,
and that could fix your quarterback issues with Trevor Lawrence.
But what is the question though?
Speaker 8 (20:08):
Okay, so that's actually part of the question, was Andy Dalton.
But so the three scenarios I'm kind of looking at
are trading for Caleb Williams to the player who's two
and one, he's two and one, trading for JD and
Daniels off the player who's zero to three who might
be a little aggressive to make a move, or keeping
this roster together that I really like, and just streaming
(20:28):
the position out of the Justin Fields, the Goths, the
Daltons or car who.
Speaker 7 (20:34):
I already have ericson.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
What do you think here? I lean to the stream,
but you making you making any of those.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
Moves, the only guy would go for would be Daniels.
That's that's what I would do, because what did you
have to give up for Daniels?
Speaker 7 (20:46):
Well, that's the thing I don't know.
Speaker 8 (20:48):
So I was kind of wandering if a little advice on, like,
looking at my roster, what you think is good enough
bait without completely nuking some value.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
I mean, so his roster, by the way, running backs
are uninspiring outside of Breeze, but he's got London, Cooper McLaurin,
Brian Thomas, Malik Neighbors. I would like to offer Drake London,
but then the guy's gonna say how about Malik Neighbors,
And then you're gonna have to say something really awful
to him back, and that you could hurt your friendship.
(21:19):
So I'm not sure you can get You didn't see
another way you can get done.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Ericson Hmmm, I think you just need to I want
to say, lowball the person, because you don't want to
overpay for a quarterback necessarily, I guess I'm looking at
I mean, you might have to flip one of these
receivers off a good game Cooper McLaurin. Maybe Hubbard would
you trade up? Probably not. I don't think London would
(21:45):
be because again, you can. I don't want to say
like you can survive with me. I think car is
a good matchup this week. I think he'll be fine.
I don't think you're in dire straits this week. But
the end goal is you stream till you find an
option to find a long term answer. Is Derek Card
long term answer? I don't think so. But you can
definitely stream him this week. So I think you just
(22:08):
got to figure out what the Jane Daniel manager wants
first and foremost. And if it's something that, hey, this
makes my roster better and I don't feel like I'm
giving up so much, then I think that's the movie
I got to make.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
You know, I'm so mad at myself. I have said
this for four or five straight years. I know, like
I'm newish to fantasy pros and everybody, but I've been
around a while. I have wanted to track my streaming
quarterback play on the points per week and then add
it up and to see what that would be relative
(22:39):
to the season total, to see if I stream. Not
everybody can stream, by the way, but you know, if
like Darnold and stuff is out there to see if
I stream, I can get myself properly into like, you know,
a top eight quarterback by streaming purposes, or did I
do a really bad job of it? And that can
sometimes tell you like you should just have like a
top end quarterback? Or are there are enough options and
(23:00):
I'm good enough at doing it? Can I not give
up massive equity to go get I think Jayden Daniels
is a great buy, except it's all time high right now.
It's a bad time to buy him. But he legitimately
might be in that top five conversation. But I kind
of go back to my original analysis. I instantly said, like,
I'd probably rather stream, So I think I'd rather stream.
Have you ever done that?
Speaker 2 (23:20):
Xx?
Speaker 1 (23:20):
Have you ever like tracked your quarter I don't know
how often you quarterback stream in leagues, but I feel
like that would be a fun exercise, is like at
out those points every single week and just see how
that would have compared if I would have just started
you know, Jalen Hurts or Kyler Murray every week.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Yeah. No, I've never done it before, but no, it
definitely sounds like something that would be enticing to do.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
Let's do it. Let's do it next year. You in win.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
I'm in a right do it.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
Let's go cool, all right, Schmidt premium member on the
Fantasy Court, Fantasy Pro's discord, not just on the free side,
because you can get the premium membership so you have
access to everything. Schmid, What up, dude?
Speaker 4 (23:54):
What's going on?
Speaker 9 (23:55):
Guys?
Speaker 10 (23:55):
How are we doing to that stuff?
Speaker 1 (23:56):
What's up? What do you got?
Speaker 4 (23:58):
All right?
Speaker 10 (23:58):
So I normally use the start cool, but I want
to know what you guys think about these guys this week,
so full p EPR league, and I'm trying to decide
to start to these guys. And it's between David Montgomery,
T Higgins, Juwan Jennings, and Tuba Hubbard.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
That's a that's a tough list there.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
Got to start two?
Speaker 1 (24:20):
Oh yeah, I didn't miss the crowd. Well you put
in the chat? Was it one or two? I do think,
because I thought he was going to give us two
and then he said four guys, so he start too.
So you have Cuba Jennings. Who are the other ones? Montgomery, Montgomery,
t Higgins and t Higgins. Montgomery and Jennings.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
For me is George Kettle gonna play it.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
Doesn't matter, but I don't think so't. I haven't even
heard him at practice that hamstring injuries can be really rough.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
I will start the running backs because that's the safest.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
Yeah, eleven catches one hundred seventy five yards, three touchdowns.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
I know I won't be wrong if you start to running.
Bax may not be right, but I won't be wrong. However,
that makes sense.
Speaker 1 (25:08):
So we're both starting Montgomery though at least, but I'm
going to go Jennings and that I do. I will
say this, I think we are going to get a
better Ayuk week than we are Jennings week. But both
are just really great separators, so I think they'll both run.
Dusty Dusty vansity. What's up, Dusty.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
Going?
Speaker 1 (25:31):
Oh okay, good you were underwater there for a second.
What's uh? What's what do you have?
Speaker 11 (25:37):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (25:37):
Well, I got a question and it's another start sit
because I got Andrews and I am one and two,
so I can't really afford to not have another dud
week from him. But I got commit off the wire.
So what do you think of playing Commet this week
instead of Andrews and just having a wait and see week.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
One hundred percent sitting Andrews and one hundred percent and
playing Comet over him. Though I'm a little bit maybe
the one hundred percent was too quick to say.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
Keenan Allen, that's funny.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
Yeah, well, because I just remembered, as I said it,
Keenan Allen being active like that maybe changes Comet a
little bit, But I am I've said it. Ever, I
firmly do not trust Mark Andrews, and I will not
trust him it. I will watch the points on the
bench and then make my adjustment, then take another week
of him inline blocking and having five snaps or whatever
(26:29):
the hell it is route running. I'm just sick of it.
So if you have a viable option, which I think
Comet is, I am taking it. Do you feel otherwise?
Speaker 2 (26:39):
Was it that obvious? I I am to playing Andrews.
I think this is the week right, He's not going
This is not a game situation where Lamar Jackson is
going to be as to throw fifteen times. They're playing
the Buffalo Bills. They're gonna have to throw more than
fifteen times. This hasn't Oh, we can just be Derek
Henry thirty carries. This is not the week for that.
What are the Bills in horrible against? That's why those
have been horrible against? Tight End. Yeah, it's either gonna
(27:01):
be Likely or Andrews.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
This week.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
One of them is gonna go off. But most people
are not starting either of them.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
I would start going Likely in a heartbeat. I'm starting here.
I have him at like eight or nine a tight
end because of exactly what you just said. He has
been the receiving guy. They just want Andrews to sit
back and block for lamar Well.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
Last week he's resting. They're resting Andrews for the Bills.
That's what they're doing. You're like, no, no, no, no,
you're gonna rest. We're gonna get you already, play Buffalo.
That's when we need you because they have no one
that can defend over the middle of the field. That's Andrews.
So tell he went to my high school. Mark Andrews M.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
He's like, we had this whole I can tell you care.
We had this whole discussion about the most famous person
in your high school. Do you have a most famous person?
Speaker 2 (27:43):
I have no. My high school is way too small.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
Are you the most famous person from your high school? Uh? No,
you one hundred percent. You are. Look at this. This
person came in here and says, you're the man, Andrew.
By the way, I'm hosting the show, you're the man, Andrew.
I literally fought followed only your trade advice. People love you.
I think you were the most famous person at your
high school.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
It's possible. I mean if you had a guess wash,
how many do you think I graduated high school with?
Speaker 1 (28:09):
Well, now you set me up. That's like one hundred
and ten.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
Less, Oh my god less? Yeah, where did you live?
Where did I live?
Speaker 1 (28:20):
Did you live?
Speaker 2 (28:21):
Like enter Massachusetts? All right, central massa Chusetts. It was
eighty eighty kids.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
Wow, So that's like that's like a camp roster before
the cuts. It was your whole school.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
Oh someone said, uh, Kyler Murray. Yeah, let's see in
the chat, he's the most famous person for your high school.
Doesn't have to just be like an athlete. But the
discussion was we had former punter Nick Murphy if you
remember him, he was like a Viking or something. Uh.
He made it to the NFL. He was the first nfler.
And then there's this actor which is I have a
(28:56):
funny thing with His name is Brenton Bailey. He's kind
of a character actor. He's in just a bunch of stuff.
And then because and you know, Bogman and I are
clearly not in that realm. But Mark Andrews ran away
with it like there's like a couple of baseball players.
But Mark Andrews is like the most famous person from
my high school. And let's see, are we getting any others?
L Jackson, I don't even know who that is. That
(29:17):
lamarj oh Lamar Jackson, Lamar Jackson from Wren's High School.
That's actually cool. So all right, well, Andrew Rickson, most
popular person from your high school. I'm completely convinced that
let's see manliness, man lee ness. Oh, some of said
the creators of Modern Family from their school. That's school?
What's up?
Speaker 7 (29:36):
Man?
Speaker 12 (29:37):
Hey, thanks for taking my call. So my main league
is in the eight team full PPR, and I've got
this real juggernaut. I wanted to thank you guys. Last
week you recommended starting Neighbors over Wilson, which definitely ended
up being the right choice. This week, I've got a
running back question for you. The start sit assistant is
(29:59):
telling me to star Mason and Connor, but that leaves
Dereck Henry and well, sorry, I'm Devin Chan, Devin h
Chan on the bench. I'm curious if you would start
Henry or h Chen over Connor.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
H Chan over Connor for me for sure, Sam. Yeah,
so we're in agreement on that one. Yeah, that's I mean,
I think Connor ranks out pretty well due to the matchup.
Washington is just Bloch, you know, kind of across the board.
So yeah, h Chan, I know it's just tough. The
Dolphins are tough in general, but I'm just not gonna
I'm not gonna sit them. I can't do it. Can't
do it, Ericson, No matter what the tools.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
Say, Well matter you're sitting Wald though, right I'm sitting.
Speaker 1 (30:44):
I think the tool Oh no, that that dolphin.
Speaker 2 (30:47):
No, he's he's he's staying in the pool.
Speaker 1 (30:49):
Yeah, exactly. You guys can check it out as we
mentioned before my playbook where you get a lot of
these guys in the chat are referencing it. Where we
got the start and sit tools that are out there.
You've got CUSTOMID you can also check and do the
customized ranks for the people. You could see what Welsh
and Ericson are saying for the week in the actual
ranks page as well, or you can check out all
the over one hundred rankers out there consisting of the
(31:12):
ECR but from trades to who to start and sit
giving you advice from personalized league elements. Go and check
it out today, download my playbook app or go to
Fantasypros dot com slash my playbook. We are We've hit
a We've hit a stride. Here here's some more. Cole Swinder,
Indiana Pacers Forward went to someone's high school. Richard Hamilton.
That's cool, someone said, had Oh Shira Ellie of the WNBA.
(31:37):
Someone said, Sarah Palin Jack Harlowe went to someone's high school.
That's crazy. I would always you know, what would be
a crazy thing to experience. Do you ever see those
things where it's like the prom pictures of like Taylor
Swift in her high school. Do you imagine just being
like a dude and then you just like dated Taylor
Swift and then you're just like you work at Fantasy Pros.
(32:00):
Taylor's like having that type of experience of like being
near someone that becomes just like I guess it's very
different than someone who just said they went to their
most famous person is Kevin Folk. But like, I just
always think about those those schools that generate just some massive,
crazy superstar. You wouldn't know anything about that. You had
eighty people in your high school. But I had a
(32:20):
pretty big high school out here in Arizona.
Speaker 2 (32:23):
Yeah, I mean if they're I mean, yeah, if you
go to a big enough high school, changes are somebody's
gonna end up end up doing something pretty noteworthy. So
I mean, it's a numbers game. I was at a disadvantage.
Speaker 1 (32:33):
Oh so we're to bring it back to staff. It's
just a based by the numbers. It's just it's gonna happen.
You're gonna have somebody out there. Also, if you're listening
on the pod, feel free to drop. I think if
you can on like Spotify, you could let us know
the most famous I would love to. I want to
find the single most famous person, be honest, though, I'd
have to say Jack Harlow's pretty big right now. So
maybe let's see Taco. Jack Harlowe is probably them. Need
(32:57):
more Calbo said Ted Bundy went to their high school. Now,
I don't believe you. Now, I don't believe. Now we're
getting into craziness year. So all right, Uh, let's go
to the Red God, right, I think I don't think
we've had Red God on before. What's up, Red?
Speaker 2 (33:10):
How's it going?
Speaker 13 (33:11):
First time being here.
Speaker 4 (33:13):
On Time Listener?
Speaker 2 (33:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (33:14):
What you guys?
Speaker 2 (33:15):
Good? What do you guys think about Black Bowers? Because
I'm getting to offer for Bowers for Montgomery.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
For you can get ours for Montgomery.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
Yeah, Montgomery's my RB one because Joe Mixon is hurt.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
And now who else do you have?
Speaker 14 (33:30):
Just real quick?
Speaker 2 (33:31):
Oh yeah, let me I can.
Speaker 1 (33:33):
I'm just curious that, like my lineup, if you trade
the Montgomery and mixing is hurt, what are you down to?
Speaker 2 (33:39):
So I gotta I just put it in the chat.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
Okay, okay, we'll take you well, yeah, we'll take a
look here. So uh yeah, you said Cuba. He's also
got Brian Robinson God Tube and Brian Robinson seems to
be a really popular pairing. Uh what did you say?
You kind of instantly reacted to it, but we were
talking over you ericson. Were you like instant smash?
Speaker 2 (33:58):
Yeah, I mean I want brock Bower again. Tight End
has been so bad and we've had one titand that's
been pretty good for three weeks so, and he's super young,
and who knows, maybe Devonte Adams demands the trade and
doesn't want to be on the Raiders anymore, and then
more targets for Rock Bauers. So I would try to
get Bowers here. Montgomery's obviously a good piece to have,
but I think Bowers and then if then, if you're
(34:21):
right about Likely again he is likely on his team,
then you can just trade Likely for another running back
next week. So that's what I would do.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
I like that from your lips to their ears. My
friends definitely get that powerful it said Cedric Benson went
to the high school. That's actually pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (34:34):
What a monster?
Speaker 1 (34:36):
Was a monster? Dude? You tea too, So I remember
the days I wish there was someone bigger than Mark Andrews.
But you know, good for him, good for you, Yeah, Andrew,
I we all wish you know what. I would hope.
I'm an offline I need to find out what your
high school is. I want to call them and say, hey, listen,
what if I told you world renowned Andrew Erickson, I
(34:58):
could get you a signed jersey that you could hang
up in the halls of this eighty person school, that
you could show everybody that they can be someone just
like ericson. If we could make you, if we could
have like Andrew Erickson day at your school.
Speaker 2 (35:13):
Job complete, right, everybody dressed up as their favorite fantasy
footby analyst.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
Oh my god. Everyone has like like nice little suit
or something like that. Right, like the suit you're having
your picture here, you're holding the football. It's very professional.
I love it.
Speaker 2 (35:25):
So that picture is so old, it's pretty cold.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
It's a pretty good We need.
Speaker 2 (35:28):
Never changing it. Even when I turn, when I become
fifty sixty, it's gonna be the same picture.
Speaker 1 (35:33):
No, it's a good one. B W, b W's in
the house. What's up?
Speaker 4 (35:37):
Hey?
Speaker 7 (35:37):
Boys?
Speaker 15 (35:40):
So looking like Tank Dell may not play. I've got
Juwan Jennings to flex. I've got Sutton but I don't
like the Jets defense. I've got Mooney but I don't
like New Orleans and DeVonta Smith looks like he's down.
Speaker 13 (35:55):
Is that the right move?
Speaker 1 (35:57):
What Juwan Jennings? Yeah, oh one hundred percent. Yeah, yeah,
I wasn't sure if you were like, hey, I got
Jawan Jennings and then you know, should I put in
a moone or something? At flex. Juwan Jennings to me,
he's top twenty. I know it's a little indifferent. I
think Fantasy pro VCR has had him around thirty or
thirty one. I've got him in the top twenty. Bogman does.
(36:19):
I want to say, Pat has him at eighteen. Pat Fitzmorris,
who was ranked twenty three in week three we did
the rank show together, he has him at eighteen. So
there are some of us that are co signing Jennings's
not just like a cool fill in option, but a
great option. I was thinking though, Man, if you were
deciding between who is at Mooney and I can't even
(36:40):
remember who the other person was, but like, I would
be okay putting Mooney in like a flex this week
if you had to.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
Yeah, I think the Mooney's fine. I'm not afraid of
the Saints defense, especially you know, if they use Lattimore
on Drake London, then you can see more opportunities for
Mooney and Mooneys look good over the first couple of weeks.
I know that the Falcons offense has been kind of
up and down, but Mooney's been a big part and
he's seeing targets. You're right up there with Drake London.
I know one it's got the touchdowns, but yeah, I
(37:07):
think Mooney's looked pretty good, so that would be a
good fill in if those guys are out. And again,
we can look at the are they playing tool on
my playbook and you get the exact percentages of whether
these guys are gonna play or not. So I'm looking
at it right now, and yeah, you should be concerned
about guys like the Monta Smith Tank Dell suiting up
this week?
Speaker 1 (37:25):
What's the tank that are you looking? Do you see
the tank tell percentage?
Speaker 2 (37:28):
Yeah? Right now, it looks like it only has Wednesday's
practice report in as we were recording this, we don't
have the exact detail important. Yeah, but yeah could at
least based on his DNP on Wednesday. That's obviously not
a good sign.
Speaker 1 (37:41):
No, it's not great. Sasquatch says, Carrie Underwood most famous
person at their high school. That's the winner currently, right,
I think? So do you know what Kerrie Underwood is?
Speaker 2 (37:52):
Yeah, she's thet She's the singer that does Sundy Night Football.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
Oh you know you're right she did. That's how you
know it's just a true football Jim Harball.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
Imagine, imagine covering football for your life and not knowing
who carry under what it is.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
Yeah, but you're just like, do you see that speech
the other day where Jim Harbaugh was just like, listen,
I'm a football guy and I love football guys, and
non football guys they don't really like me because I
try to make them football guys. You're a football guy.
Ericson like, you literally are just like, yeah, Monday night football,
didn't I didn't even think of that. Just true, true
blue football guy. Andrew Ericson, that's why you love to.
Speaker 2 (38:26):
Watch the games. I watched the games, that's all. That's all.
It's a flex to watching the games at least on
Sunday night.
Speaker 7 (38:30):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (38:31):
I don't. I watch a lot of games without the
Volume two, by the way, I don't. And some of
the announcers get me.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
See, we got to turn it out at least for
the Sunday night football countdown.
Speaker 1 (38:39):
Yeah, yeah, that's true.
Speaker 2 (38:40):
All the songs and then and then right as she
hits the last note, mute, Nick, what's up?
Speaker 12 (38:47):
Man?
Speaker 7 (38:48):
What do you got?
Speaker 13 (38:49):
Appreciate you guys? I have a question regarding all the
buzz around Carolina right now, Okay, So I have Drake London,
who I don't love in the you know Saints matchup.
I mean, great player, but I'm wondering if like the
Deontay Johnson hype is too much to put him over
Drake London. And then beyond that, look me at running back.
(39:09):
I have Cuba in two leagues and I have eight
Chan at the flex, and I'm like, I don't know
if I stick with eight Chan this week or if
I put Cuba in over him and my other one.
If it's better to do Cuba over like Josh Jacobs
and a potentially tough matchup. So just curious how much
buzz adds to validity regarding the Carolina guys and you
(39:31):
know where you'd place them in those matchups.
Speaker 1 (39:33):
There's a great question. So let's kill the eight Chan
one eight You're not starting Tube over h like a
hand up. Maybe Tuba does outperform him, but I'm not
doing that, and I think I speak for Ericson on that.
What do you think about the other two though? What
about Cuba over an Eric over An Ericson over at
Jacobs or the Deantay Johnson over at Drake London.
Speaker 2 (39:52):
I'm cool with Deantay over Drake London. I'm fine with that.
I mean, London's getting there on touchdowns, but how much
following is you going to get? And it's been okay
the last couple of weeks, So Deontay, I think is
slated to see fifteen targets. Who else there throwing the
ball to Adam feelings out? Yeah, so I think Deontay
this is this was the this was the theory behind
(40:12):
the play. He's gonna drown the targets and he it
took two week three, but he's got the life jacket
on and he's gonna be good to go. So drowning
in targets Deontay Johnson, and I still I want to
play joshake up, especially if Jordan Love is back. I'm cool.
I mean, Hubbard, Yes, it was a great game, but
you know, I still like to get some more.
Speaker 1 (40:30):
There you go, h This person is just two fish emojis,
So fish fish. I don't think I've seen someone with
just emojis for their name, but hello, fish fish. What's up, guys?
Speaker 16 (40:41):
Yeah, it's Tommy two fish, Yes, sir, okay, Tommy. He
nothing much, just had a quick question for you guys.
So I'm kind of in this trade bundle right now
of getting Jayden Reid, but everybody seems to want Etn
off my team other other than you know, I don't
want to give up Or or James Cook. So I
(41:02):
have I have et as a as a trade piece,
and I'm thinking of trading him for Jayden Reid or
Derek I'm sorry, or DK Metcalf, And that's what I'm
kind of looking between.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
I'm one hundred percent Dk Metcalf on that, but Ericson
you were the big bye Jayden Reid and he is
a great buy. But is et And two rich?
Speaker 2 (41:21):
I don't think so. I mean, the Jaguars are down
really bad right now. The value is not great for them,
and they're playing Houston this week, and Houston, at least
before last week when I was taking the Aaron Jones
unders has been good against the run, but I'm less
confident that ETN is going to have a rushing success
because they haven't been able to run the ball really
at all this year. So I think et AND's val
(41:43):
is going to probably be even more suppressed after this
week potentially. So I think that, yeah, you need to
make if you want to get out this would be
the time to get out sooner rather than later. And
I like both reading metcalf as returns. I'm not read guy, so.
Speaker 1 (41:57):
It's gonna rather read over metcalf A.
Speaker 2 (42:01):
I don't know, it's it's close. I think probably. I
think in Mercity's rankings, I probably have metcalf higher, just
because he's more established and he's done it. But I
feel like Reid, you know, has no. I think you're right.
I think it's still mecap But I like both guys.
Speaker 1 (42:14):
It'd be cool like you do the like I'll take
metcalf and then that person's like, well hold on, hold on,
and then it's like, if they want to talk it down,
you give them a lesser piece that's not at take care,
but like I would take negotiations and negotiations by the way,
John Wan said, uh, streamer Ninja, I think everybody knows
Ninja at this point went to his high school. But
(42:36):
Carrie Underwood still firm lead here firm Yeah, sunny and
football all right. I'm excited to see the I guess
the Spotify things, so see if people are gonna have
anything better that aren't lying, well, no, if you're lying
like Ted Bundy. You're lying, So that's that doesn't win either.
Speaker 2 (42:54):
Did he go to high school?
Speaker 1 (42:57):
I don't know you know what? Hand up? No, no Erickson.
I'm a football guy. I just know football stuff. Don't
know that it's a typical all star. Hit the accept
button and come on down, my friend, typical all star.
Speaker 7 (43:10):
What you got any guys? What's it going?
Speaker 1 (43:12):
What's up? What's up?
Speaker 2 (43:13):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (43:14):
First of all, thanks for let me talk to you.
Speaker 4 (43:16):
Guys.
Speaker 9 (43:16):
Kind of feel like talking to some celebrities, you know
from the footballer.
Speaker 1 (43:19):
Andrew Rickson is a high school celebrity if you weren't aware,
so you kind of are talking to a celebrity. But
thank you very much.
Speaker 5 (43:26):
He's got a good name too.
Speaker 7 (43:27):
My name is Andrew as well, so twins on that.
Speaker 5 (43:30):
But I'm gonna.
Speaker 9 (43:31):
Throw my roster in the chat real quick and answer
for you asked me the question, so I just folted
it today. I actually traded wadd All away for Pickens
and I have Tyreek Hill as well. But by RB
(43:51):
depth is a little. Uh, it's not the best. Would
you consider trading for a top tier RB trade or
trade away Hill?
Speaker 6 (44:03):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (44:03):
Well, here's your problem. You already have the top tier rbs.
He's got Breis Hall and Bijeon already, so those are
his time Brian Robinson, not Jon oh Am I blind?
Is it?
Speaker 2 (44:14):
Yep?
Speaker 4 (44:14):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (44:15):
I am blind? I am student?
Speaker 2 (44:16):
All right?
Speaker 1 (44:17):
So would you trade Tyreek for a Chan? In this instance?
And then Guy I got so excited. I was like,
did you have Jeon? And that he doesn't. I'm so dumb.
Would you? I'm trying to look at his bench. He's
got like Addison, he just traded away wattle watts. I
don't know. Would you would you move Hill to? Let's
just use a Chan as an example.
Speaker 2 (44:37):
I think I probably would prefer We talked about how
we liked eight Chan more than Hill slightly.
Speaker 1 (44:42):
What's the lowest RB you would accept to trade away Hill.
Speaker 2 (44:46):
Maybe we're looking at this the wrong way. Maybe it
shouldn't be about trading away because he already trade away
get the wattle, so he's already kind of not my
baskets or the eggs are not all in the Dolphins baskets.
He's been kind of moved away from. What about instead
of moving Hill, you move Marvin Harrison Junior for the
best for like Saquon Barkley, Right, isn't that the move
(45:07):
to get the best running back. I love that possible
as opposed to trading Hill, who's kind of a somewhat
suppressed asset. Are you ever gonna are you gonna get
full market price? You don't really know because obviously we've
talked about the concerns with him. So I'm just saying,
if if he wants to get the best running back back,
you would trade Marvin Harrison and not Tyreek Hill.
Speaker 1 (45:25):
What did he get?
Speaker 2 (45:27):
He got George, which I like, that's good.
Speaker 1 (45:28):
Oh yeah, yeah, he got paid well because I was like,
I just still see watal On here.
Speaker 8 (45:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (45:32):
No, I like that Pickens has a lot of great
underlying stuff. I suppose he's a little bit weaker if
he trades Harrison. It's like Hill and then JSN and
Pickens and stuff like that. But I guess, Okay, so
here's a question, is it would you rather have, you know,
Tyreek and George Pickens with I don't know. Did you
(45:53):
say you can get Saquon from Marvin? Is that what
you said?
Speaker 7 (45:56):
I mean?
Speaker 2 (45:56):
People love Marvin. He's also playing the Commanders this week.
Speaker 1 (46:00):
Let's just maybe dial it like Jonathan Taylor. Let's say, Jonathan,
you have Breeshall Jonathan Taylor and then you're starting Halen
Pickens or would you rather Breesehall Brian Robinson and start
Marvin Harrison and Tyreek Kill? Like, do you think that
trade makes your team better?
Speaker 2 (46:17):
See now when you say that, I don't because I
guess I just don't agree that his running backs are show.
I mean he's Breeze Hall. And again I know that
we were first. Oh no it's not Bjohn, it's Brian Robinson.
But I mean I haven't checked the exact stats, but
doesn't Brian Robinson have more points this year than Bha.
Speaker 1 (46:32):
Well, he didn't like his depth, but and he only
has Drome Ford as his backup running back. He doesn't
have anything else because he lost but Checko. So that's
kind of like the to be fair thing. So in
that instance, if he did it, he would have like
Taylor Hall and then maybe he's flexing Brian Robinson every
week and that provides him a little bit more depth.
But like you said, when we when you look at
(46:54):
it like Hill, Harrison, Robinson and Hall on a weekend
and basis or you know you've taken Harrison out, I
do feel like the wide receiver that comes into play
versus what Brian Robinson is an RB too, Like you're
losing a little bit of value, but you would have
a lead RBS. I suppose.
Speaker 2 (47:10):
Yeah, I mean I.
Speaker 1 (47:10):
Leanked to not doing it. I leaned to not trading
Hill or Harrison unless someone wants to do a big overpay.
I kind of think you stick with it.
Speaker 2 (47:17):
Yeah, I think that sometimes depth kind of gets overrated.
I mean right now, I mean, you only have to
start two running backs, and you have two running backs,
so yeah, I don't mean by week's exactly. And again,
injuries happen, whether it's to your team or other teams,
and there're gonna be more running backs you can pick up.
I mean, Drome Ford's dialing with an injury. Is youant
the foreman owned in your league? Go to school, the momp,
(47:39):
you know, things like that.
Speaker 1 (47:40):
So look at that man, Look look at his man.
Keep Roland, purple Doodle. I love these names. Purple Doodle,
what do we got?
Speaker 2 (47:48):
Hey? How's it going?
Speaker 3 (47:49):
Guys?
Speaker 2 (47:49):
Good?
Speaker 1 (47:50):
Good good good?
Speaker 2 (47:51):
Hey? Can you hear me?
Speaker 1 (47:52):
All right, we hear you, great man. One of the
best mics so far today. So you have that as
an accolade.
Speaker 2 (47:58):
I'd love to hear it real quick.
Speaker 17 (48:00):
I just kind of, I guess, just looking for somebody
to talk me off. The ledge started off zero to
three in my league, and it's I really don't hate
my team. It's I mean, I looked at the stats
and people are averaging one forty eight against being twelve
man ppr.
Speaker 4 (48:15):
I've got a Puka that's hurt.
Speaker 2 (48:17):
I've got a Chan and wattle.
Speaker 17 (48:20):
I mean, is it time to go ahead and just
kind of go desperation mode and throw out some crazy
trades or should I just let it ride and see
if it kind of comes together. I mean, I'm just
getting really bad matchups right now.
Speaker 1 (48:31):
I mean it's a little tough not knowing like the
full scope of it. You saw what wattle netted. Wattle
netted pickings. That's not bad. I don't know if, like
you know, it's like a huge win. I think it
was like a solid trade if you're really worried about wattle,
so you can throw wattle out there. I guess I'm
super hesitant to trade a Chan, and maybe maybe that's
going to be my fault ericson that. I just like
(48:53):
I don't want to move off of him right now
because I think there it's a suppressed value to a
player that can be like the nub number one fantasy guy.
And it's just there's so many questions about the Dolphins
right now without having all the information, and you hear
like he's owing three, he's got a couple of pieces
that are kind of suppressed, like are you trying to
blow stuff up? And you know, buy lower pieces for
(49:14):
more depth, to see if you can construct a better
team or just see if we can pick up some wins.
Speaker 2 (49:18):
Now, I think, well, he did talk about how he
seems like he's been just drawing kind of bad matchups.
So I don't think you need to be over aggressive
again if you want to try to take your own
bias biases out of your roster, because again, we look
at our teams. We all think our teams are great.
Use League sync, look at the power rankings. The power
(49:38):
rankings will tell you how good your team is based
on your roster, not based on your win loss record,
and that's will give you a good idea. So if
it power rankings come back and say your number two
but your own three, well you're fine. You don't be
overly concerned, and vice versa. You could be three, and oh,
you could have a bad team and you can be like, oh, man,
I've gotten lucky these last couple of weeks. I need
to make a move. So again back to the Dolphin thing,
(50:00):
a Chan and Hill, I want to be buying those
are guys. I want to buy a Wattle. I'm more
comfortable kind of moving away from because just the production
that's going to be suppressed for the next couple of weeks.
He's the number three option I think on that team
right now, and that just kind of puts him in
the toughest spot to kind of overcome the potential quarterback play.
So and again I think, Waile, you're getting fair deals, like,
(50:22):
for example, the George Pickens. I think George Pickens a
lot upside too, so I think that's a good deal
to make. I also have Wattle on basically all my teams,
so I have no problem trying to diversify at this
point just because it's not great so far. But yeah,
that's kind of how I see. So I wouldn't blow
up this team necessarily, especially I'm going to go back
to this. One of these Dolphins is going to go off. Yeah,
(50:42):
I meanst the Titans. I feel pretty confident and if
you're not getting market price for a tyry kill off
a Monster game or devon a chan app after a
Monster game, because I don't know where Mihim Moost's coming back,
So this a chan bell cow usage is still in play.
And we know that volume is the number one driver
for Fantasy and with h gets volume, Oh my god,
(51:05):
he is a Chico And goes back to why I
think I'd prefer him over tyre kill straight up at
this point. So yeah, that's kind of how I see it.
Speaker 1 (51:12):
Well, it's funny. We're like setting it up like Wattle's
going to just go off this week. I'm like, Hill,
You're like eight.
Speaker 2 (51:16):
I mean, I again, he's on a bunch of my teams,
so I don't hate it.
Speaker 1 (51:21):
Just like I think the thing people should be prepared
for is like, don't be surprised when it happens. Everyone's
like what the hell? Like, yeah, they were really good,
do you guys drafted them as like top fifteen two
receivers in the top fifteen because tua, I remember when
people hate it to it. But coming back to the
trade thing, the only thing I would add is if
you have this like this like kind of like middling,
underperforming team surrounded by like this, like one great player.
(51:44):
I might be tempted to be like, all right, take
even though I don't like to do this a lot,
but if you're ower and three, maybe you take that
player and you can like even a bijeon and you
consolidate it into like two pieces that are performing well.
If I'm owing three in his situation, I feel like
I'm probably gonna take a shot and maybe target those
players that people are kind of cooled on, Like we've
talked about, you know, I UK, why did Juan Jennings
(52:06):
outperform him Tyreek Hill. I'm trying to think of some
of the running backs that have been kind of suppressed,
like I mean, Cuba's kind of bouncing back up. Maybe
nause people a little bit weird about nause right now,
but you know, it's a run heavy offense. I would
be trying to buy onto some of those underperformers because
the only other option is now you're selling underperformers for
(52:28):
even undervalue, and it's like, what what is that going
to help your team? If you're trading waddle to go
get pickens, Like I don't I don't know. I probably
take some shots on some guys with some upside. It
is lightning round because we still have a full queue
of people with questions, so we will bring it down
just a little tiny bit and we will lower the
analysis so we can get through a bunch of questions.
(52:49):
So let's start it with bucks Man, Premium member on
the discord, bucks what do you got.
Speaker 11 (52:55):
Up?
Speaker 18 (52:55):
I just got two questions. So one league. It's a standard,
standard scoring.
Speaker 4 (53:02):
I was wondering, uh.
Speaker 18 (53:04):
For to pick two? Would you pick Ayuk, Olave, Godwin,
McLaurin or Diggs.
Speaker 1 (53:13):
Oh man, I feel like Digs and Ayuk jumped out
to me there with Godwin kind of banged up ericson
what about you?
Speaker 2 (53:20):
I'm gonna play Olave and Godwin.
Speaker 1 (53:23):
It's tough to not play. Yeah, all right, so we
gave you three to kind of choose from a Lave
is a really good option as well. That's a tough one.
Just's got a really good matchup A right. What was
your other question?
Speaker 18 (53:33):
Other league is a two quarterback super flex league, standard scoring.
I have Anthony richardson. I'm benching them this week, so
I'm one and I see you guys have justin fields
rated ten and Gino rated like eighteen or nineteen, but
I feel like it's a better matchup for Gino. Would
it be in Monday Night? It's gonna be a bit
(53:55):
of a shootout. Who would you guys start Gino or Justin?
Speaker 1 (54:00):
What do you think? Ericson Gino or Justin? I think
I'm o, man, that's tough with the passing upside of
Gino there, I feel like I'm leaning Jeff justin Fields.
Speaker 2 (54:08):
But what so you I'm playing I'm playing Gino Justin
Fields is I just don't like this matchup for him
to have a ton of Fantasy points. Again, he's rushing,
but he's not rushing for a ton of yards. He's
not rushing for a lot of touchdowns. I know we
rushed a touchdown last week. I believe honestly, she just
asked Joe piece of pa because he's been on the
wrong side of Derek Carvers justin Fields every single week.
Speaker 1 (54:31):
So just whatever he do the opposite of whatever he says.
Speaker 2 (54:34):
Yes, so whoever, I believe he said he's starting Fields
this week, So you want to start to ga?
Speaker 1 (54:39):
I love that. Just got a fade. Let's do it. Redbeard.
Red Beard is back with us. It's up Red Beard. Hey, y'all,
what's up?
Speaker 4 (54:48):
Not much? I sent my league real quick in the chat.
Speaker 2 (54:53):
Yep.
Speaker 7 (54:53):
The guy who has.
Speaker 18 (54:54):
Tyreek that thrown by load is only running back, So
value are eight cham and Montgomery and.
Speaker 7 (55:03):
Mixon, which will be out. He's got Gus Edwards and Neckward.
Speaker 4 (55:08):
What is a potential trade to try to get.
Speaker 7 (55:10):
By Low with my roster or Tyree? Either a two
for one.
Speaker 12 (55:17):
Or a one for one.
Speaker 1 (55:19):
There's a lot of names in here. I'm just gonna
throw out, like maybe Dobbins and Addison or Moss and Dell,
or if you want to try to go maybe one
for one Eten because his running backs are Jonathan Taylor,
Etan Pollard, JK. Dobbins, Moss, and then you got some
(55:40):
pretty good wide receivers. You're not going to trade neighbors,
so you know, maybe like Adell in a lower RB,
maybe Addison with a little bit higher or Etn straight
up that's my thought. What do you think, Erickson?
Speaker 2 (55:50):
Yeah? I think Etn straight up. I mean that would
be a goodbye Low. I would say if I was
the Tyreek manager, I would probably want Garrett Wilson. That's
probably what I would want. I think that deal will
get done for me, Garrett Wilson. I've talked about this
on a couple of the shows the rest of I
think it's gonna be a little bit of time before
(56:11):
we see him really go to produce. I think him
and Rogers are still kind of working through things. The Jets'
schedule upcoming is not great for him to be the
featured guy, so I think that he's going to kind
of be more of a wide receiver too over the
next month plus, so maybe his value even gets more suppressed.
So this might be a good idea to kind of
sell high on Wilson quote unquote to buy low on
(56:32):
Tyreek Hill. If those other deals end up going through again,
you want to try to buy low. But I think
Wilson to Hill is actually a pretty fair deal based
on the two players and what they've done so far.
Speaker 1 (56:41):
I like it. Those are some options to go with.
Sir Buckets. Sir Buckets, regale us with your tales.
Speaker 2 (56:50):
Hello, how are you doing? Guys? What's up?
Speaker 1 (56:52):
We're good?
Speaker 7 (56:53):
I a good quick question for you.
Speaker 9 (56:56):
So for the flex shit, I do Nasee Harry or
Jawan Jennings.
Speaker 1 (57:03):
We didn't say PPR or not but I'm probably going
Juwan Jennings, same for me. SAME's ease, yay, Juwan Jennings.
Speaker 2 (57:12):
I mean we have the Juwan Jennings truth are not true?
The oracle on the show with Welsh.
Speaker 1 (57:18):
Yeah, well we'll see one week one week. Nobody. By
the way, I didn't get a single message like hey Welsh,
good job, Like good job on Jenning you all.
Speaker 2 (57:26):
I remember it was Oh my god, who was the
other guy, the other receiver that I told people to start?
Christian Kirk over.
Speaker 1 (57:33):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, you reminded me too. We had
that Kirk versus Juwan Jennings bet.
Speaker 2 (57:38):
And I wish I had known it before Monday night
even happened or what it was. Because I'm watching Kirk,
I'm like, all right, he's getting involved, right, ten targets
like eighty yards, get some garbage time, all right, all right, field, okay,
like he was a pretty good he was it? Okay,
starting I look up, Oh yeah, Jennings forty points wide
receiver one on the week.
Speaker 1 (57:55):
H we have fun? Will what's up?
Speaker 4 (57:57):
Will I start sitting question for you? With some nice
game coming up? Full PPR League. I've got Devin Singletary
already and as my RB two, would you start Wan
Dale over JK Dobbins given the matchup and how banged
up his line.
Speaker 1 (58:15):
Is one Dale over JK Dobbins, I would.
Speaker 2 (58:22):
It's it's a noe for me. I started, I'm playing
starting Dobbinson. I think Dobbins. I get the offensive line
has problems, but they're at the tackle positions and I
think that influences the pass protection more than the run game. Again,
Joe al delete super important, but isn't Dobbin's going to
get like twenty twenty five touches? What else are they
going to do on offense?
Speaker 1 (58:42):
They stopped with Gus they last week.
Speaker 2 (58:45):
I mean, I know, so that's kind of me. It's look,
Dobbins is so explosive. Even in that Steelers game, he
was like on the cusp of a couple of big runs.
But then the Steelers have a really great run defense.
I get it's a tough matchup against the Chiefs, but
I mean Dobbins has been so good. He's super explosive.
You can take any cand off to the house and
it looks like Herbert's gonna play again. If you've got
to sacrifice the tackles with the quarterback. I'm cool with
(59:06):
I guess sacrificing the tackles. If we get Justin Herbert
under center, I think that helps a lot. So again,
if it was something, I mean, Wandell is the ultimate
floor play. I think he's not gonna get zero points,
but I mean, how much damage can he really do
unless he scores? So I'm still gonna go with Dobbins.
Speaker 1 (59:22):
All right, let's try to get quick ones from the rest.
We're gonna be super nice guys as long as you
can do it. Eric's and let's see if we can
plow through these last couple that are in here and
get them all. But let's just just be quick on it.
Hit us, hit us with it. Sal Oh, what's up?
Speaker 3 (59:40):
I have?
Speaker 4 (59:42):
I have?
Speaker 19 (59:43):
I have two guys hurt.
Speaker 4 (59:44):
I have.
Speaker 19 (59:46):
CMC and Pa Chake on my list. I have my
running back chat stuff two running backs too wide receive
as a flex and a tied end.
Speaker 8 (59:57):
I have.
Speaker 19 (59:59):
I have Jame and I'm new with this. I have
James and who's James the guy from San Francisco to
backup for CMC.
Speaker 1 (01:00:13):
Oh Jordan Mason Mason.
Speaker 19 (01:00:15):
Sorry Mason, And I have Aaron Aaron Jones from Green Bay.
I also have Brooks on my bench, I have Huddle.
Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
On my brench, and I have Chandler.
Speaker 19 (01:00:31):
My wife receiver is our Rice ay Yuck and de'antay
Johnson and Waddell and Chassie. I'm thinking of starting Jane
to the James and Aaron as my two running backs
(01:00:53):
wife receives. I'm thinking of starting just Rice ay Yuk
and Deontay john So now I'm stuck with one with Likely,
I can't do any moves because my bet Joe full
protecting other players.
Speaker 7 (01:01:08):
I have Likely playing.
Speaker 14 (01:01:09):
Should I drop someone like a Chassie to pick up
like a backup Earth, So it just keeps your seat.
Just go with with with them with Lately and just Likely,
just try them out.
Speaker 2 (01:01:21):
I think Likely is in a good spot this week.
I know we mentioned him earlier while so Likely.
Speaker 1 (01:01:25):
Yep, go Likely. Keep Shaheed Miguel premium member on the
Fantasy Bros. Discord Miguel Rocket to us quick.
Speaker 5 (01:01:32):
Hey, how you guys doing quick?
Speaker 19 (01:01:35):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
I'm new to this.
Speaker 5 (01:01:37):
So I have I'm owing three right now and it's
been a lot of injuries, so I tried to put
in the chats not working. I have Jaiden Daniels, Marvin Harrison,
t Higgins, mcwarren, Nausey bje On, and then I have
a Mixon's hurt, Cup is hurt, the joke Who's hurt?
So I don't know. This is a tough league. Like
(01:01:59):
I'm in two leagues for my first year. I'm at
one at work, which is like I'm stacked on that team.
But this team, like trading wise, everything like that, everything's
so difficult.
Speaker 7 (01:02:08):
I've been able.
Speaker 5 (01:02:09):
I've been willing to trade a bije on if I
can get like a you know, two solid wide receivers
or you know, anything like that. But I don't know
if I should wait it out, you know, but I
want to make the playoffs. So again, I just Jaden Daniels,
Marvin Harrison, Junior, Pe Higgins, mclarren, Najie Bejon mixing as
her Cup it's hurt, and the joke Who's hurt?
Speaker 1 (01:02:31):
So I don't think you're in a good spot. I
would I would hold because Jayden Daniels and McLaurin both
kind of pop this week. You got some injured guys
that are gonna come back unless you can make a
big move. I think that's a team that you'll hold
with and ericson.
Speaker 2 (01:02:43):
I bet you agree, Yep, I agree.
Speaker 1 (01:02:46):
Awesome, dev As are going through last three. We're gonna
try to get everybody last three. What's up? Awesome?
Speaker 5 (01:02:53):
Hey guys, very quick super Flex League.
Speaker 9 (01:02:56):
I got three quarterbacks, I have my homes, I have
Lamar and I got Justin Fields.
Speaker 1 (01:03:01):
I shouldn't do anything crazy like sit Mahomes for fields
this week? Right, No, I'm not. I'm not doing that.
Speaker 7 (01:03:06):
I know Mahomes.
Speaker 1 (01:03:08):
Yeah, he's like eight this week, but yeah, I get it.
Speaker 2 (01:03:10):
I mean he's been but he's Mahomes. They're gonna figure
it out. I'm not. I'm not concerned about it. Again,
if they're gonna score touchdowns, it's going to be through
his arm.
Speaker 1 (01:03:17):
So exactly, John one, was were you Carrie wood or
were you Ninja?
Speaker 2 (01:03:23):
Are neither?
Speaker 1 (01:03:23):
John?
Speaker 17 (01:03:26):
I was Ninja, not carry Woody.
Speaker 2 (01:03:29):
Then we'll take our question. Yeah.
Speaker 13 (01:03:30):
Yeah, More importantly, p PR, would you swap Khalis Shakir
and Brian Robinson for Justin Kirk and Jalen Waddle?
Speaker 7 (01:03:39):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:03:39):
Say one more time so I can process it. Khalis
here and Brian Robinson for who and.
Speaker 7 (01:03:43):
Who Waddle and Christian Kirk I know Erickson loves Kirk.
Speaker 1 (01:03:47):
Like this, just like like, is this trading or just
leaving in your roster?
Speaker 7 (01:03:51):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:03:52):
I would just I would hold. I would define Brian Robinson.
Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
Yeah yeah, I'm definitely holding all right. Last one in here,
fat Doinks? What a name? What's up? You got one
of those what were those monkeys? I'm forgetting the apes eighties?
Speaker 2 (01:04:06):
Right?
Speaker 1 (01:04:07):
Yeah? Yeah, that's actually a cool looking one.
Speaker 2 (01:04:10):
Well, they're all cool looking.
Speaker 1 (01:04:12):
They're all cool looking.
Speaker 11 (01:04:13):
I'm just saying, guy, well, you guys been killing the pods, man,
I don't miss a single one. You guys kill it awesome.
I have two questions and one hopefully you guys can
help me out. First one is the weird one. But
I'm in the league that gives points for low scoring
games on defenses. I'm thinking about dropping Dallas. I don't
they just have a back feeling about tonight and playing
the Titans on Monday Night. And then the second one
(01:04:34):
is do I bench Dj Moore for Deontay Johnson this weekend?
Speaker 1 (01:04:38):
I think someone pointed out Deontay popped up on the
injury thing this week. Yeah, that's much.
Speaker 2 (01:04:43):
He's not the I don't want to challenge him. I mean,
he's a football player, so I know that Deontay traditionally
has not played well through injuries. That's just kind of
off the cuff from what I remember from his Steelers days,
and that may have been something that was the reason
why he got traded from the Steelers. I would to say,
I mean DJ Moore, I mean, he's in such a
good matchup against the Rams. Oh my god, they're the worst,
(01:05:05):
They're one of their There again, I recommended Dj more
Is to sell high, but I also it came with
the caveat if you can't get anything good, then to
sell him high after this next game, because it's he
could go absolutely nuclear. Even if you have Keenan Allen
coming back. We don't know how healthy he's going to be.
It's just too good of a matchup. So I'm gonna
roll with DJ Moore. The Bears can only throw right,
(01:05:28):
they can't run the football.
Speaker 1 (01:05:29):
So anything on Tennessee. Would you you like Tennessee at all? Depends?
Speaker 2 (01:05:33):
That's like a low scoring game. Yeah. I mean again,
if you're gonna get Miami with a backup quarterback, whether
it's unble Kyler Thompson, I think that's better and he
said that he doesn't feel great about I mean, I
don't know. Daniel Jones is always enticing to play your defense.
Speaker 1 (01:05:45):
I feel like going with a Thursday night over Tennessee. Yeah,
but again, you and I are apologist to the Dolphins
players being able to break through, so that.
Speaker 2 (01:05:54):
That is true. Yeah, we are secretly Dolphins apologists. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:05:57):
