Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, and welcome into the Fantasy Pros Fantasy Football Podcast.
It's the week eleven Sunday recap show coming to you
live right here on the fp YouTube channel. And what
to tell you? It was my friends with a slew
of game winning kicks, backup quarterback play, and superstars coming
out of nowhere. We'll break it all down for you
from a fantasy perspective. I'm your host, Seth Wilcock, and
(00:23):
back ride shotgun with me is a man who knows
a thing or two about football. He's Scott Bogman. Bogs
How are you coming off one of the more wild
Sunday slates that I can remember.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
I'm good. I mean, we beat the Bengals. I love that.
As Steelers fans, we are happy with that one. In
most of my leagues, my home league is killing me recently.
That's the most brutal one because that's the one where
all your friends get to smack talk you. So hate
losing there. But everything else is looking decent for me.
(00:53):
So far, so so far, so good on Sunday. Longhorns
lost yesterday, so the weekend is incomplete, but Sunday.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Absolutely I agree with you. Good Sunday for anyone who
had Josh Allen the lineup, as our friend Murphy saying
in the chat, and not a great Sunday if you did,
Ben Sean Tucker, but we'll certainly chat all about that
later on in the program. It does look like this
though for the show's outline, no doctor Deepak Chona for
one more week, but we will continue to break down
the most notable injuries and the potential fans football ramifications.
(01:23):
Then we'll give you the top five fancy storylines of
the day, we'll take a trip to the panic Meter,
and then we'll round out the program with a rapid
fire Q and a So send any Sunday specific or
rest of season questions you have for us and we'll
be sure to try to answer those for you. And
before we jump in, shout out to everyone who supports
us by either hanging out with us on the fputube
channel or after the fact on the audio feed. Please
(01:44):
be sure give this video a thumbs up if you
enjoy this type of content, and also make sure you
subscribe if you're new. Help us get to three hundred
thousand subscribers by the end of the football season. That
would be really cool if you could we would really
really appreciate that, And Bogs, let's go ahead and get
into those injuries that were once against, very very prevalent
here in Week eleven, starting with Green Bay Packers running
(02:05):
back Josh Jacobs leaves the first half with a knee injury.
This is not considered season ending, but he will likely
miss some time. Bogs, how much of your remaining fab
are you spending on his backup? Emmanuel Wilson new scored
thirteen point nine PPR points today, rostered in just five
point nine percent of ESPN leagues.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Yeah, you're probably gonna have to unload to get Emmanuel
Wilson at this point. Like there's just there's not a
lot of backs left. This is likely a PCL sprain
from what we're seeing from the fantasy docs on Instagram
and twitters and all that good stuff. So two to
six weeks is typically what that is. So just a
wide variety of options. So Josh Jacobs is probably helping
(02:49):
carry your team right now, so if you are rostering him,
you need to get Emmanuel Wilson. So this is why
we do handcuffs, But handcuffs are hard to carry when
they're not doing as much. Daniel Wilson is one of
those guys that every once in a while he'll blow up.
But I would say it's him and his hand cuff
would be Chris Brooks.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
Moving forward, Yeah, Packers on deck, next form the Vikings,
the Lions, the Bears, the Broncos, and then back at
the Bears on December twenties. So I don't hate that
rest of season schedule for Wilson if it will be
him for a couple weeks. At least we know you
can run on the Bears coming up in three weeks.
The Vikings and Lions also not match up some I'm
really afraid of for running backs, I think, so yeah,
(03:29):
not bad. Let's go ahead. Let's get to the Atlanta
Falcons where we had a couple injuries out there, including
quarterback Michael Pennix Junior. He suffered a knee injury. Wide
receiver Drake London rolled out in overtime, also with a
knee injury. Bogs. If either one of these players misses
times are their pivots at all? In Atlanta? Because wide
receiver too, Darnell Mooney, we would think he would be
(03:49):
the next guy up. However, he's yet to reach double
digit fantasy points in eight games played this season, and
apparently he has been dealing with a collarbone break that
we didn't know anything about heading end of the year. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
I mean, Darnell Mooney has been fairly ineffective, so I
would think it'd be probably Kyle Pitts probably more passing
the ball to Bijeon, maybe put him in the slot
more and play a little more Algaear at running back,
which they had been typically doing before this week. You know,
they were down a lot though in this game, so
lots of Bejeon in there. So I think that's the pivot.
(04:21):
Mooney maybe as like a low end wide receiver three,
a flex option if you're you know, bye weeks next
week and you have some injured players, so those would
be the pivots. But I think you're right, man, Darnell
Mooney just has not been performing this year, so it's
hard to trust them.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
And it's not like we're going to look to David
Sills or Caderol Hodge, right Like, I'm not going that direction,
especially if it's Kirko Chains a quarterback.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
No, I don't like David Sills at all, and uh yeah,
Carrol Hodge will pop up and have a game of year.
But that's about it. So yeah, I'm not gonna sit
there and try to hunt for it.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
So you're right now, Kyle Pitts. Pitts arrow up. It
seems like Darnell Mooney if you're desperate next week, and
then probably just an upgrade to both those running backs
in the backfield out wide. Let's get to the Tennessee Titans,
where we had their star wide receiver Calvin Ridley he
suffered a broken fibula out for the season. Also their
wide receiver chimriy Dk, the talented rookie out of Florida,
(05:18):
he suffered a concussion on a muff punch. So does
this make either wide receiver Elic iomnor maybe one of
the tight ends Chiga Quoncuo or your boy Gunner Helm
out of Texas a sneaky play against the Seattle Seahawks
next week, Bogs.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Maybe Chig the Chigaconkquo would be the guy. Van Jefferson
also played a lot of snaps today as well, So boring,
unbelievably boring. But maybe you know deep leagues of DFS
plays something like that. But I mean, this offense isn't
good anyway, neither one of these running packs are any good.
It's just ugly. I know they played Houston today too,
(05:54):
but it was just a gross game. Like cam wod
maybe getting better, but we're probably gonna see it the
last onto the season if anything. So you know, I
think next year is going to be a year for
cam Wore. Let's get him a little help in the
receiver corps and along the line there.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Yeah, I'm with you there. I think when it comes
to a play for next week for fantasy managers, though,
I'm not afraid to run out either one of these
tight ends honestly, like Gunner Helm four receptions twenty nine
yards the Seattle Seahawks. I tried betting against them this
week because they give up so many tight end touchdowns,
so many tight end points in general. I was on
the wrong two guys. I was on Higbee, I was
(06:31):
on our boy Ferguson out there and ended up being
Davis the third tight end. Now, yeah, who found the
end zone there? So I think it is a susceptible
spot for the Seahawks that you can take advantage of
which way you want to go. I'm not sure Chick
hasn't scored a touchdown all year. Gunner Helm has been
more of the red zone guy. So you could try
your luck at one of those positions if you need it.
(06:52):
But I'm kind of with box here, kind of a
stay away. I don't think, like how deep would you
have to be going for Elick right here? Like probably
like you need a wider fever.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Yeah, but yeah, like I just don't trust in this
entire offense honestly, Like there's not really a trustable asset here.
Elick might be the best, but he is a maybe
like it might be Van Jefferson, like you said, it
might be chigged. Maybe they run the ball a little
bit more. Maybe they're in those two tight end sets
and Gunner gets it. So uh, it's you know, it's
(07:24):
just a mountain of nothing right now from Tennessee.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Yeah, I mean, I think the last time Elic Iomner
hit double digit Fantasy points, I mean you have to
go way, way way back to Yeah, I think right
now I'm seeing seven for forty four on Sunday, the
twenty eighth of September against Houston, so over over a
month ago, right, that's kind of where we're at right now.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Yeah, It's I mean, I I a minor, he would
be the guy just because there's nobody else left that
would be it. You know, it's not like he's because
oh hey, next man up, and this position's been great.
Just looking at the scoring, he was wide receiver two
once and that's it. Everything else has been below wide
(08:09):
receiver three every other finish. So wide receiver two week
two and this is half PPR. He was twenty fifth
in week three. That's wide receiver three. Everything else is
blow wide receiver three. It's ugly, ugly.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
And I've been kind of like on the DK bandwagon
over the last month or so. But I even even
with Calvin Ridley out for the rest of the season,
I think if you have to cut him this week
when he's injured probably gonna miss a game with a concussion,
I'm okay with doing that right now.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
So yeah, yeah, you don't need to hold on a
DK for anything.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
So now, Also, we had some pretty major injuries out
there in the Steel City Bogs. We won the battle,
but maybe lost the war here with Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
He did not play in the second half at all
with a wrist injury. Never even came out of the
locker room to my knowledge, and then also running back
Jalen Warren, he suffered an ankle injury. We saw him
come back in this game, but then time out or
(09:00):
something got called and he never actually took the snap
and then did not come back into this one. So Boggs,
what would having Mason Rudolph right in time for Christmas
baby back under center mean for the passing game? And
how much of your remaining fab would you spend on
Kenneth Gainwell if he's available. He scored just over twenty
nine day as points for the second time this season,
only roster in forty two point two percent of ESPN
(09:22):
leagues as well.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
Yeah, I don't think this is going to be a
long term injury for Warren. I was looking at the
breakdown of it. They seem to think it's a inside
sprain and not a high ankle, so more of like
that low ankle sprain. So I think there's a possibility
that he could be back this week, but if not,
I think it's a one to maybe two week injury.
So I'm not bottoming out for gain Well right here.
I would probably it depends on what you have left.
(09:45):
It's hard to say. Percentages because some people have a
lot left, some people have nothing left. I would I
would put him in the rotation of guys I'm trying
to pick up for sure. Yeah, but know that it's
probably a one to two week thing for Warren here.
I don't know that the pas catchers changed that much.
They haven't been very good in Pittsburgh anyway. So with
Mason Rudolph, I don't think a lot changes missing Aaron Rodgers.
(10:08):
So super flex leagues, you got to go get Mason
in case Rodgers is going to miss an extended period
of time. But we'll probably know more tomorrow on that.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
Yeah, I mean, DK Metcalf's probably still like the low
end wide receiver too. He's been most of the season
for me so and Calvin Austin. You know, he's that
emergency plug and play fact, the flex play that you would.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Probablyfering Roman Roman is Roman played way more snaps than
Calvin today. It was like thirty eight to nineteen, soh wow,
Roman might be the guy now, It's okay, all right, Well.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
Good to know there. Would you go Emmanuel Wilson over
someone like Kenneth Gainwell on the waiver wire if available?
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Yeah, I mean because of the potential for this injury
to take a longer time. You know, the Packers are
looking for the playoffs, so I think you're going to
air on the side of caution most weeks with Emmanuel Wilson.
So I think that that is a longer term shoe
than Jalen Warren's ankle. So yes, I'd much rather have
Emmanuel Wilson.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
Dreda's asking how much fab you'd spent on Mason Rudolph
dress I think we'd have to revisit this when we
get the full diagnosis of what Rogers timeline is going
to be. If if he's out for a couple of weeks, Like,
I don't think I'm going crazy for Mason Rudolf unless
I'm desperate for a quarterback. But if this is an
extended injury, I mean, I'm okay to back up, but
you know, not the full brink truck for him, but
(11:25):
definitely roll out a little bit of a coin I
have saved up, I think.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Yeah, and the super flex. Uh, you know, I'm in
one league with dreadis and I have zero dollars to
spend left, so get if she has a buck left
over me.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
So yeah, she got panis hurt too as well, So
tough scene out there for you. Dreda's best of luck. Also,
Bog's not on the injury graphic, but we did see
in the late Slate Cleveland Browns quarterback Dyllan Gabriel he
exited with a concussion. It was shad Or Sanders' time.
There are some highs, there are some really bad lows
in that game as well, But what do you expect
of guys, you know, first start here and first at
(11:58):
real action in the NFL. How do you think that
will change your rankings next week for Brown's pass catchers
If it is Shador Sanders under center versus Dylan Gabriel,
keep in mind the matchup will be the Las Vegas
Raiders in the Sin City.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Yeah, I mean, I think it would be nice for
fannin guys that will play on short routes. Maybe Judy
is okay, but honestly, it's just he's a better option
to quarterback because he can pull the ball down and
run with it right, and Dylan Gabriel just doesn't really
do that. So I think that Sanders didn't do that
a lot in college. He didn't really need to, but
(12:32):
he definitely has the athletic ability to do it. So
I would love to see him pull the ball down
more and run with it and bail out instead of,
you know, throwing a questionable pass. So and a lot
of rookies do that, so I think we'll see that
out of Shadoor Sanders, maybe just a little bit more
fantasy wise for the quarterback position in Cleveland, I don't
think it changes the pass catchers muth much because they're
both not very good.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
Yeah. Yeah, I mean what you're rolling out Jerry, Judy
if you're like desperate, right, I mean, if.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
You're rolling out Jerry, it doesn't change if you have
Sandy's or Gabriel in there. I think I think that's
kind of the point.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
Yeah. Same with the tight ends. I think if anything,
it just means Quinn Shaw Jutkins gonna get fed even
more here.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
Lots lots of carries. It should be.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Yes, And before we keep it moving into the top
storylines of the week, I wanted to let y'all know

(13:57):
top five storylines of the week. And there's no better
place Bogman to start than with Sean Tucker taking over
scoring thirty four Fantasy points against the Bills. I was
all over Rashad White here. I gotta be honest with you, Bogs.
I thought it was a big game for him in
Orchard Park. Today turns out with Sean Tucker's day nineteen
for one oh six and two on the ground for Tucker.
Also add two for thirty four and a score through
(14:19):
the air on two targets, Rashad White ten for fifty
one on the ground two for eleven on three targets. Boggs,
I am with my love for White this week. I
have to say I am an o g Shawn Tucker
stands since his days back at Syracuse. I thought it
was really criminal that he went undrafted due to the
health condition. But I really thought White was maybe set
up for a league winning run down the stretch. Turns
(14:39):
out that might not be the case though.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Yeah, but we've seen Sean Tucker do this right, he
bows up, he has an enormous performance, and then he
kind of goes back to obscurity, And that would probably
be the case if Bucky Irving's gonna end up playing
this week. Now, I don't know if Bucky plays this week,
and I don't I honestly don't know if Bucky plays right.
Like they say, they keep saying, we still have to
see him take contact. He went all week without doing
(15:03):
any contact drills at all. So that is the massive
hurdle that he still needs to cover, and that has
to be in the next two weeks or he's gonna
revert back to season ending. I are so I think that,
you know, so we're looking for Bucky and Rashad White
still had more snaps. It was forty three snaps in
twenty two routes. I have seventy one for a shot
in thirty one and nine for Tucker's. So Rashod White
(15:26):
is still the guy they're using in two minute drills.
He's still the guy they're using on passing downs and
third and longs and stuff like that. So he's still
the main back. This was just a hot hand situation.
At the end of the game. Sean Tucker was hotter,
so he got the ball. More. Wasn't a horrible game
for Mashad White, but obviously Sean Tucker had a much
much better example here. So I think this, you know,
without Bucky, this is going to be hothand it's going
(15:47):
to be close to fifty to fifty. So this week
it was Rashaw or Washtucker. I think maybe that gives
him the sixty forty over Rashad White next week, but
it's still going to be very close, and whoever is
performing better midway through the game is going to get
the ball.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
Okay, And yeah, I apologize to anyone that I told
to not start Sean Tucker this week. I had a
couple of questions, what.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
Are you supposed to call this?
Speaker 3 (16:11):
Like?
Speaker 2 (16:11):
I had a buddy the whole week trying to trade
trade me a Mario de Mercado because Bam Night was
questionable and I had to start Sean Tucker in that league,
and he wanted to get Aiden Hutchinson because it's an
IDP league and I don't have had good offensive players.
I just refused to do it, and obviously Tucker worked
out for me. Still going to lose because that's my
(16:31):
home league, but yes, that it paid off. Sean Tucker
is fine. That all those backup guys that are maybe's
are kind of going to a bucket, But Sean Tucker
is one of the better ones.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
Twenty eight point six percent roster right now in ESPN League.
So Wilson, Gainwell, Tucker, where are you going ranking those
guys rest of the way.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
At Tucker goes at the bottom, it would be Wilson,
Gainwell and Tucker for me.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Okay, So okay. Regardless of who's a running back for
the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, though, we certainly want to be
invested at the air Bugs because Rams and Cardinals, the
next two weeks and then four plus matchups to end
the season, the Saints, the Falcons, Caroline in Miami. Those
should all be smash spots. It's just gonna get a
little more complicated now trying to pick who it's going
to be, right, because as you mentioned, there's gonna be
(17:17):
some White games, and there's probably gonna be some Tucker games.
You don't think though, this is like a situation where hey,
Tucker had this game and he's gonna get the ball
of the work over White if it is just these
two for right now.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
We thought that about Manangai a couple of weeks ago
and it didn't happen, right. And we've seen this with
Rashaan White before that Tucker over outplays him and it
still hasn't happened. So I think we're gonna hear what
we hear from thought balls. Every time Sean Tucker goes
off or has a good game, we need to get
the ball to Sean Moore and then it doesn't happen, right,
And what does this look like if Bucky is back? Right,
(17:50):
I'm pretty negative on Bucky, but he could shut me
up by you know, going through practice this week and
then now he's getting everything and who is the primary
backup then now it's a question of ver Sewiye Vershaon
Tucker for anything. So yeah, that's why Shawn Tucker would
be at the bottom of that list for me, because yeah,
you know, I Gainwell has a role regardless, and it
(18:11):
looks like Jacobs is going to miss time.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
Yeah, it's tricky. It is very tricky out there. I
will say Sean Tucker and his pass catching usage today
and that big playdown the scene that kind of reminded
me like, this guy is a decent pass catching back.
Just because he hasn't been asked to do this in
Tampa Bay doesn't mean he didn't do that at Sarah
cause yeah, I'd have to look back at his numbers
there in college, but I know they were pretty good.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
It was a lot of behind the scrimmage stuff and
at Syracuse, so he didn't like run routes and everything.
But he's got hands and he's great with the ball
in his hands, especially in space, so he can do it.
He can absolutely do it.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
Let's go ahead and get to the next storyline of
the week, and it's Bryce Young and the boys Paul
out come back when and overtime for the Panthers to
beat the Falcons. Young was thirty one of forty five
four hundred and forty eight yards, three passing touchdowns, thirty
one point eight fantasy points and four touchdowns, scoring fourmats
and right now, he set a new career high in
(19:06):
passing yards by one hundred and twenty yards. And of course,
his pass catchers they feasted in this one. Tetro McMillan
eight for one thirty and two on twelve targets for
thirty three fantasy points. Exager Loaguett, how about four for
eighty three and one on eight targets Jalen Cocher double
digit or close to doublegit fantasy points for the first
time this season. Rico Daddle even got involved in the
pass catching game five fifty five on seven targets, almost
(19:29):
had my any time touchdown, but it got called back
there as well, So Boggs, I was on the record
this past week. I was going all in. I was
trading for Tetro McMillan, trying to hope for one a
second half breakout like we see so many rookie wide
receivers do. And also Bryce Young really improved down the
stretch last year. Is that maybe coming to fruition starting
(19:50):
here in week eleven? And could we maybe even look
to more of these pass catchers as worthwhile ads off
the waiver wire.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
Yeah. Look, I'm not going to count on Bryce Hung
to do this again. I'll just say that, right, But
I will admit that the last couple of weeks I've
been saying, look, maybe get off of Teto McMillan, because
this run game is running so well. You have Rico,
you have Cuba. You can run both these guys. Now
it's been all Rico. Cuba still still goes down to
like sixteen snaps or something today to forty five or
(20:20):
whatever it was for Rico. So it's the Rico show here.
I just don't expect Bryce Young to have this type
of performance, right. This was the second QB one performance
this season. He had only the two top twelve finishes
and five at twenty fifth or lower. So QB three
(20:41):
in your standard twelve manly if you wouldn't even want
them as your superflex in a in most weeks. So
this could be nice. I mean, we're getting a lot
of banged up defenses right now and with more confidence.
This is kind of what we wanted from Bryce Young
to throw the ball this much, I just don't expect
the whole game plan to change and for them to
lean on Bryce Young. I think this was a nice
(21:02):
back and forth game for him. I'll take it for
what it is. But I'm not going to go buying
up targets that aren't McMillan. I'm not going to go
spend a lot on theget I'm not going to go
after Tommy Trumbull after his big cat train.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
Would you add them for free at all?
Speaker 2 (21:15):
I mean, yeah, sure, if Legetti's is free after the
waivers cleared and you have someone at the end of
your bench that you don't like, sure, absolutely.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
Okay, And I have to sit. I have to give
Bryce Young some flowers.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Me like.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
It was a tough, gratty game for him. I mean
he got stepped on a lot. Yes, there was one
throw to Tedoro McMillan. It was on a third down
and he had a free rusher coming off the right
side of the line and he stood in their pocket
and he delivered a dart. So I was really really
impressed by what we saw from him. That said, though,
(21:46):
I'm kind of with you that I don't think we
can expect this. I think things will get better, as
as I said earlier this week on a couple of programs,
and I think I'm still in on Ted, I'm still
in on Bryce, you know, potentially being a dynamic duo
down the stretch. And the one thing I will point
out too, is like teams are starting to figure out, Hey,
the Panthers can run the ball pretty well, this Rico
daddle guy, and they're starting to stack the box a
little bit more and challenge Bryce Young. Last weekends the Saints,
(22:08):
it didn't lo work out for Bryce Young, he couldn't
deliver when he needed to. Here against the Falcons, it
certainly did and coming into this week just a little
more confidence in Tterro and McMillan's stats obviously changed on Sunday,
but prior to that, tenth in tenth plus yard receptions,
ninth in air yard share, fifteenth and first read targets
six point one per game, tenth in deep target share,
and tenth in red zone targets. So those were kind
(22:29):
of the numbers that were underlining that were kind of
speaking to me this week Bogs and why I.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
Was all in, yeah, look and good your chops are
great here, by the way, because he only had one
wide receiver one week before this and one wide receiver
two week and five at wide receiver three or lower.
So I think his half PPR wide receiver points per
game when you take out all those like guys that
have played four or five games or less, he's about
(22:55):
thirty four thirty three, so a low end wide receiver
three typically this season. But I think you're right. Hopefully
down the stretch as rookies go, we will see more
from him.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
Next storyline of the week, and this one just befuddles me, honestly.
I was on the charters to win, and they collapse
in Duval County. They lose thirty five to six against
the Jaguars. Outside of that first drive, they're really never
in this game. Herbert just ten for eighteen for eighty
one yards an interception, three for twenty one with his legs,
and nobody of his skill players broke double digit fantasy points.
(23:28):
Keenan Allen four to fifty three on six targets, Aronde
Gaston the second, who was set up for a huge
day in a really plus match against Jacksonville two for
forty one on six targets, Ladd mcconkee only three for
thirteen on four targets, QJ another donut on three targets,
and then Vidale just three for thirteen on the ground
and two for negative one on two targets Bogs. Early
(23:49):
this season, this was looking like a situation where, hey,
all three of these wide receivers are borderline mustards their
wide receiver twos. And then as Gads did kind of emerged,
it became lad who really started to He's above become
more of a high end wide receiver two option. Keenan
Johnson became more of you know those wide receiver threes
that you to play here and there. And then now
I think it shifted again or was this just a
(24:11):
bad performance there on? By next week? Where will you
have them ranked in Week thirteen against the Raiders?
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Yeah, I think I'll be pretty I'll have them pretty
nice against the Raiders here, Right, this was a bad game.
They're still adjusting to losing Joault and the other tackle
I think is Bozeman, right, So they're still making massive
adjustments here. And this offensive line has not played well
at all this year. So and dude, Justin Herbert is
(24:38):
getting hated online. He is getting a lot of crappy.
He had a bad game obviously, but he got hurt,
he got rattled, so he was not one hundred percent.
They were getting their butts kicked, so they just took
him out of the game at the end and put
Trey Lance in there. So brutal, just brutal everything. This
is a big cross country trip for the Chargers two,
(24:59):
going all the way to the jet to Jacksonville. Yeah,
so you know they're typically a afternoon start team as well.
This is an early start all the way across the country,
missing your top two tackles. I'm gonna chalk it up
to that more than I am going to hate on Herbert.
But this was a miserable day. And if this is
what it's gonna look like, I mean, Max Crosby, if
(25:20):
he's healthy for that Raiders game is not going to
be fun. They're gonna have to adjust, They're gonna have
to chip. I think we're gonna see more two tight
end sets out of this team, or a fullback end
there to protect Herbert moving forward, which takes a receiver off,
which is not great for somebody, probably QJ if I'm guessing.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
Yeah, and I think the most concerning part about this,
and part of my handicapping was I wasn't afraid of
the tackles being missing in this game, just because the
Jaguars have gotten to the quarterback like bottom five in
the NFL, right, they're not good at getting sacks they
did today, and so I am a little concerned, Like
I think I am downgrading especially QJ. We've seen a
lot more Tray Harris and less Keenan Allen running routes
(26:02):
this season towards the back half of the year, so
I think of a little bit down on those guys.
But like I think, you still have to stand packly.
You can't sell them off this game, right, so there's
nothing you can really do.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
Yeah, I mean, maybe it's bad for Gadston if they're
going to go back to big tight ends to try
to help these holes, like it could be bad for
him and Jaywood here says excuses. I think they are reasons,
but any way you want, you can cut it, Like
the Chargers were bad today, so maybe I'm giving I
(26:32):
think I'm giving reasons instead of excuses. I'm not excusing
this at all. It sucks, but yeah, I think they'll
be okay. Moving forward, and it's nice to have a
bye week after getting destroyed like this to make big adjustments.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
Hopefully we can get a little clear evidence or just
something that we get a timeline for a Marion Hampton,
because we have no idea what's happening with him right
now either. And I think he would give this team
a good boost, not only in the run game, but
also pass blocking as well. I think Herbert could use
him back there with them.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
So Jim jay Wood says he's a Broncos fans or
a Chiefs fan, So I get it. You hate your uh,
your division. I'm on board with that. We hate the
Bengals here. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
Yeah. Also for a storyline of the week, Bogs comes
out there in Green Bay when they were on the
road here in New York. Christian Watson come back tour.
It is officially on Romeo Dobbs. He did lead the
team in targets and receiving yards eight targets, four for
fifty three, but Christian Watson caught four of five targets
for forty six yards two touchdowns. Shout to our boy
(27:30):
Debro over there on the sleeper video that we did
on Thursday that was released on Friday, Deebo very high
on Watson, encouraged us to all to start him, go
pick him up if we could, Bob mean, after seeing
how things shook out against the Giants, where will Watson
and Dobbs be you before you you know the rest
of season? Also kind of in that weekly rankings mix.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
I think they're both wide receiver threes. Like, this is
a great game for Watson and I his upside obviously
is higher, right because he's a deep threat. He can
have those massive swing games for you. One of these
touchdowns was an accident and it was going to somebody else,
tipped off of him, went to Watson and he caught
it right like, and if you look at this performance,
(28:12):
it's not too far out of his typical performances since
he's come back. First week was four for four eighty
five yards, four targets, two catches fifty eight and a
second four catches, two targets forty five. This was five targets,
four catches, forty six. But he got in the end
zone twice. So his previous performances in half PPR gave
him thirtieth, forty eighth and forty six. So he's still
(28:35):
going to be a borderline wide receiver three guy. I
think most of the time now they should pass a
little bit more. If Josh Jacobs is down right, you
probably are going to pass a little bit more. So
maybe a little extra there, push him up to you know,
higher end wide receiver three something like that. Him and
Dobbs probably in that same bucket. But it just means
you could cut everybody else. I mean the bench Luke Musgrave.
(28:58):
This week it was John Fitzpatrick getting way more snaps.
So Musgrave can be done. Golden is just never gonna
get going this season, in my opinion, so he can
be done. There's nobody else that really matters here. It's Wilson,
it's Dobbs, and it's Watson, and that's kind of it even.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
I mean, we do have the potential of a third
body coming back into this receiving core at some point though,
as well. Bogs just with coming off ir Ji, Yeah, yeah,
Jane Reed.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
Jack good news. And then I've heard nothing, right, it's
been radio silence on Jayane Reid. A couple weeks ago.
Was like, he's pretty close to this window opening and
now nothing. So I would love to see Jayane Reid
come back. I think he's a big part of this,
but until he does, we just kind of have to
assume if he's not.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
Okay, all right, fair enough, last headline of the week here,
Josh Allen remains the quarterback one. The Bills beat the
Buccaneers forty four to thirty two. I saw a lot
of money late in the week coming in on the
Buccaneers to cover, maybe even upset the Bills to get.
But they got to seven and three in Orchard Park
and it came via nineteen of thirty for three hundred
and seventeen yards, three touchdowns, two interceptions. Didn't look great
(30:04):
early for Josh Allen, but then also goes for six
for forty and three touchdowns on the ground. So Boggs,
I don't think there was a ton of concern over Allen,
but is there now, like no question about it rest
of season quarterback one, QB one for next year as well.
It just feels like he has the highest ceiling right now,
especially with Lamar Jackson being not what we wanted to
(30:25):
invest in with a third or fourth round pick.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Yeah, Lamar is not one hundred percent right now either,
I don't think, but yeah, I think it's gonna be
those two guys again at one two for next season. Obviously,
I what are we doing with wide receiver for Buffalo?
Can we draft one? Finally? We tried Kenon Coleman's not
working and he's late for a meeting, so let's bench
him completely. I guess it's his third I think he
gets traded in the off season, by the way. I
(30:47):
think Sean McDermott is tired of it. I don't think
Keon Coleman's gonna change, so Keon Coleman to the Raiders
or something like Kean Coleman and Pittsburgh. I would love
to have him in Pitts.
Speaker 1 (30:56):
I mean, yeah, we'll take it. He choosers out, Yeah right, we.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
Beggars can't be choosers. Let's get one. So I think
we'll have some solution on the wide receiver market too.
But Shakir should be continue to be the guy. Hopefully
this you know, hopefully Knox would get better. But and
Kinkaid will be back next week because Kinkaid has been
the dude. But yeah, this, Uh, Josh Allen was great
(31:21):
and he's finished as a QB one and eight of
ten weeks, so I don't expect anything to change here
he is the man.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Okay, well, congrats to everyone had Josh Allen in the lineup.
Apology setting who may be played against him, But hey,
that's just the way it goes, baby, and let's keep
it moving here into the panic meter. Go ahead, guys,

Speaker 1 (33:07):
Let's go ahead and fire up the panic meter. Let
us know below who you're panicking about, and we'll rate
them on a scale from one to ten about how
much war panicking on them. One means hey, we're not
really panicking at all, hold tight, and ten means it's
full blown panic mode, Bogs. Let's get to the panic meter,
and first one up here from our friend Pops thoughts
(33:28):
on Courtland Sutton. Where's he on your panic meter? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (33:31):
I think Courtland Sutton. You know this is a Bonix
issue as well. Tough matchup against the Chiefs today. I'm
probably like a three and a half, It's not a nothing,
but I'm not super panicked yet. I think the matchups
will be better and Bonex will get better down the stretch,
so he's probably gonna be like a wide receiver two
to three borderline guy next week. I think the Broncos
(33:52):
are actually on a bye So you know, I'm not panicked,
but I see what you're saying and it's not fun m.
Speaker 1 (34:01):
M yeah, yeah, it hasn't been hasn't been great. Also, Nelson,
here a panic meter, DK Metcalf without Rogers. I'm honestly
not too concerned, like I do think Rogers and him
have good chemistry. But Mason Rudolph, we saw it a
few years ago back on that stretch where he really
made George Pickens a thing down late in that twenty
twenty three season. So I don't hate Mason Rudolph in
(34:23):
this spot, do you, Boggs? And where's your panic meter
on DK?
Speaker 2 (34:26):
No? I mean the time to panic for DK is
probably a couple of weeks ago. Yeah, I don't know
that much changes with Mason out there. He's still going
to be by far your heaviest targeted wide receiver from
Pittsburgh because they just don't have anybody else. It's uh,
Roman Wilson, It's Calvin Austin and then the tight end.
So yeah, and specifically with Jalen going down, you know,
(34:50):
depending on how long that's gonna be, I think I
think DK could get better just because of volume, not
because Mason Rudolph is in there.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
Okay, one, we we have a question on, but I
didn't want to bring up to what about the Vikings
wide receivers. Obviously, Jordan Aisen finds the end zone two
for twenty gets a score as well, justin Jefferson five
for sixty one on nine targets, So like the volume's
been fine, but there just doesn't seem to be a
lot of chemistry right now with JJ McCarthy. I mean,
where do you have Justin Jefferson rest a season? And
(35:19):
also where you on the panic meter for him, because
it feels like we're not going to ever get that
value return for the first round investment top five investments
some leagues.
Speaker 2 (35:27):
Yeah, I think, you know, low end wide receiver one
is probably where I'm going to have Justin Jefferson because
we should have been seeing these growing pains with McCarthy
early in the year, but he got hurt, so you know,
we just haven't. We saw a lot of Carson Wentz
and that was a problem, and now it's the young guy.
I think once it unlocks, it's going to be unlocked
(35:48):
and good. But that could be this week, you know,
when week twelve coming up here, this could be the
end of the season. So it's growing pains that we're
going through now that should have happened earlier. I'm not
you know, you can't do anything with Jefferson. Obviously you're
starting him. He's still your wide receiver one. All that
most leagues are beyond their trade deadline now, so it's
(36:08):
not like you're benching him, but you may want to
play like if you play three, you may want to
play a big upside guy in that in that other
section because you know as your wide receiver three or
wide receiver flex. Because we're just not sure one hundred
percent well we're getting from Jefferson on a week to
week basis.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
Yeah, I agree with you there and a couple questions
coming in about the Ravens, Derrick Henry, how are you
feeling about him? And also what's the panic meter level
for Lamar Jackson. I've been on record a few times
over the past week saying if you have another option
to go ahead and trade Lamar, like I would see
you know, even if you had Joe Flacco or Daniel
Jones someone in that vein. I was cool with moving
(36:45):
Lamar for the value and the name that he comes with.
I don't know what you're gonna get for him coming
off this game, so I think you do have to
hold for at least one more week if you have
it in your trade. But if your trade deadlines this week,
what's your panic level on Lamar? Because you said it
earlier in the program. He doesn't look like himself. Just
four for ten on the ground today, fourteen to twenty five,
one hundred ninety three through the air, two interceptions, no
touchdowns for the former Heisman Trophy winner.
Speaker 2 (37:08):
Yeah, so that's a rough I mean, look, Miles Garrett
got to him four times. The old line is not
doing any favors for Lamar right now. So but again,
I think this is a dude that if you were panicking,
it was a couple of weeks ago was the time
to panic. You're not gonna do much with him right now.
You got to start him. You know, you're not benching Lamar.
And once he gets back, as soon as Lamar has
(37:29):
a good game, a lot of these guys that we're
talking about, as soon as Lamar has a good game,
everything's forgiven and everyone forgets that he was so bad.
So I do think this was matchup. Plus he's not
one hundred percent. I think the deeper we get, the
better Lamar is going to look. So I'm not too worried.
I'd say it's like a three.
Speaker 1 (37:45):
Okay, I'm probably closer to a five or six, But
I totally understand, and we have one asking here, like,
should he be playing someone like Baker Mayfield? I think
you have BA. If you have Baker Mayfield on your team, one,
you trade Lamar still see you as much as value
you can get.
Speaker 2 (37:59):
If you can, yeah, I mean if you can't, that's
a fair matchup assessment, right, Like I would say, let's
just go based on matchups. So next week Tampa Bay
has got the Rams and the Ravens play the Jets.
You're playing Lamar against the Jets. Yeah, so are you know?
But but but that's fair and that's a good question.
And so if you're holding onto both those guys and
(38:21):
you can't trade right now, that's what you do. You're
gonna play matchups between those two guys until Lamar looks
like Lamar again.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
And if you can trade, like I would, I'd be
okay with taking like an RB two or a wide
receiver two value back, would you Bogs Like.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
Yeah, that's not yeah, no, no, that's enough you know
one QB League Absolutely, Okay.
Speaker 1 (38:39):
Great, there. I think that is about going to do
it for us. Panic meter one more Jamar Chase zero
For me, I just think.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
What if he gets suspended. He did spit right at
right at Ramsey at least the video looks like it,
So I would be worried about a one game suspension.
But Burrow's coming back, so I I think you're not
doing much with Chase. So Burrow should be back in
two weeks and you know, obviously everything's going to get better.
(39:10):
Then this is, you know, Joe Flaco in a bad
situation with an injury, uh, and the Steelers wanting to
lock down Chase because he embarrassed them last time. So uh,
I think Chase will be Okay, I am worried about
a suspension after that spit. It might okay. I would
assume the NFL doesn't want to take one of their
best players off the field, so it's probably just a
massive fine.
Speaker 1 (39:27):
Okay. Yeah, I honestly like worry. Could Joe Flacco be
actually an upgrade over Joe Burrow coming right back back
off the injury, because that's kind of my only concern
here when I why I would put maybe Jamar Chase
on A one or a two, just because what if
Burrow comes back and we know he's a slow starter, but.
Speaker 2 (39:45):
One or two main set? That's my question, Like, so
are we trading.
Speaker 1 (39:48):
Him if I can get him if I can maybe
get someone else of top six value.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
Were you training for Justin Jefferson? Straight up?
Speaker 1 (39:55):
Like, no, no, JSN Pooka, I would do I would
do those.
Speaker 2 (39:59):
Those guys for I don't think right now, not after
this game. So yeah, and the possibility of suspension at
least this second, you're not getting that son.
Speaker 1 (40:09):
Would you take one of those guys over Chase?
Speaker 2 (40:11):
I'd take both of them over Chase.
Speaker 1 (40:12):
Yeah, okay, okay, yeah, that's why I guess just my
only concern bugs, but I understand.
Speaker 2 (40:18):
Yeah, I no, I get it, like he's not where
you drafted him, and that concerns everybody. But not where
you drafted him doesn't mean that you can bench him.
Speaker 1 (40:26):
You just oh yeah, yeah you can't.
Speaker 2 (40:28):
Yeah, you can't bet like you're not playing matchups with that.
You play matchups with Lamar. You can't play matchups with
Chase because any week you could carry your entire team.
Speaker 1 (40:34):
Yeah. I also just like him with Flaco because Flaco
gives him like twenty targets the.
Speaker 2 (40:38):
Game sometimes nobody else to pass past.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
Yeah, So yeah, real quick, before we get to some
more questions, go ahead and drop those below, folks. If
you haven't he before we get out of here. You
can also ask questions over on our Fantasy Pros Discord community.
You can chat with other fans and get access to
exclusive amas that actually wind up on our podcast feed.
Our current schedule looks like this, worm and fits at

(41:00):
and Fits at five Eastern on the third Tuesday of

Shan Erickson. They're with you every single Thursday, two pm
Eastern through the end of the season. So come get
your questions answered and be on the show at Fantasypros
dot com slash chat and fire up the go ahead.
Speaker 2 (41:17):
I was gonna say, Jay Lazarus just reminded us here
that there were high wins in Cleveland today. That was very,
very windy game, so Lamar's passes were bad, So I
just wanted to throw that in there.
Speaker 1 (41:27):
Yep, I appreciate that, And let's go ahead and get
some questions as well for you folks before we get
out of here. Anything you guys need help with, we
will try to get to those right now. And we
got one from dreddis was this our last overseas game?
I believe this was our last overseas game, so no worries, Bogs.
I know you're not an early riser either, so you
probably don't, don't.
Speaker 2 (41:46):
I mean, I like up for halftime of those. I'm
too late watching the college football right like I was
watching BYU cash out for me. Too late, so I'm
not waking up at seven thirty to watch this game.
So just can't do it. I wake up at half
time the Steelers game I woke up for, but that's it.
I'm not gonna wake up for these overseas games. They
will not get my eyeballs on them.
Speaker 1 (42:09):
So hey, I totally understand. I will say that I'm
very happy the NFL continues to spread the game, and
even though it's a little bit of an inconvenience for
US fans, especially if you're over on the West Coast
or you're in Central time, Bogs, that's an inconvenience. But
at the same time, you know, I even miss usually
the second half of these games. I'm either on a
stream where I'm at church, so I do miss a
(42:29):
lot of these. But at the same time, I love
that we're continuing to spread the love of football to
other countries. So it's an inconvenience, yes, but let's continue
to spread the love that is the NFL overseas excited
about that. Let's get to a question here that have
about a minute to actually get it to Gavin. He's
down by twenty three tonight. He has AJ Brown, devonre Smith,
he has Brock Bowers and Ashton genty Do you think
(42:50):
he has a chance?
Speaker 2 (42:51):
Oh yeah, yeah, big chance. Yeah, Bowers could go off.
Any of these guys could have a massive game. So yeah,
twenty three points and if they have nothing, then you
know he had Wait a minute, it says he has
a J. Brown and the other guy has to You
got a chance, I'll say outside, I thought you had.
All four of these guys were.
Speaker 1 (43:13):
Saying about same, AJ Brown or Pickens tonight. Here for Pickens, Pickens, Pickens,
I'm with you. I'm with you on Pickens as well.
Here's one for Dylan. Who's the Colts hand cuff to own?
Is it still the talented rookie there?
Speaker 2 (43:25):
There is? It's a mirror of Doula now because Giddens
hasn't even been active recently, so it would probably be
a mirordula. But there isn't one. If Jonathan Taylor goes down,
They're gonna split carries between both those guys and it's
gonna be disgusting.
Speaker 1 (43:38):
So I think I would rather take get in. So
like if I if I am, I'm looking for a
legit handcuff because the situation right.
Speaker 2 (43:46):
Like Hassan Haskins was the guy he was playing, but
he's also brought a lot on special teams, as does
a mirror of Doula. So Giddons is the videll in
this situation as to he's not getting anything, but if
something happens to j T he could easily get more carries.
I'm with you, I would want Gidtins more, but I
do think it'll be a disgusting fifty to fifty split
(44:07):
if anything happens.
Speaker 1 (44:10):
Last question here before we get out of here. Bogs
from bew York, and I've seen some other comments as well.
What do you think about R? J. Harvey Nelson also
asking about him rather disappointing day overall, considering he had
the backfield to himself for the first time, I knew
Julia McLoughlin or Baddie one of these guys is gonna
play spoiler and steal and snipe a touchdown from him
and came to fruition Bogs.
Speaker 2 (44:31):
Yeah, that's frustrating, but that's the only frustrating thing, right,
is that they do differ up these guys. But this
was a rough game against Kansas City. You got to
think that he's going to be the man, and the
better performances he has, the more they're gonna be willing
to go to him. Obviously they got the buy coming up.
But then this schedule is nice. For the next couple
(44:51):
of weeks. It's the Commanders, the Raiders, the pack and
the playoff schedule is Packers Jags. They ended the Chiefs,
which is not good. But hopefully by that point R. J.
Harvey has earned more and more and more. Uh, with
some huge games, he can really make up some ground
against the Commanders and Raiders in his next two games.
So uh, I think he's gonna be okay okay.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
And also, I lied one more question from our dear
friend dreddis If I Dow's injury a serious, I don't
think it is. But if it is Boggs, who's up
next till O'maron Hampton comes back? Do they go back
to the former Michigan Wolverine.
Speaker 2 (45:26):
I don't know if he's gonna be good to go.
I think might be Jared Patterson, right.
Speaker 1 (45:32):
Patterson has him getting some run former commander.
Speaker 2 (45:34):
Yeah. It also might be mister outside higher if that's
the case. And know Marion Hampton's not back, yeah, I
I they're on a buy here, right, so uh, I
think Hampton comes back after the buye anyway, So I
think that's gonna end up being the bottom line.
Speaker 1 (45:49):
Okay, Yeah, Michael Carter, I think it is still floating
out there on a practice squad or two, so maybe
they go out and yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:55):
They should like that, so they absolutely should.
Speaker 1 (45:58):
Yeah, guys, so much fun tonight. Thank you so much
