Speaker 1 (00:00):
I am all in again. Oh, let's Gilmore Girls Gazette
with Amy Sugarman and Danielle Romo, an iHeartRadio podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
We take you back to February twenty second, twenty eleven
two two two one one, a numerologist holiday, a day
that uh was a sad day in the world. There
was a big earthquake in christ Church, New Zealand, a
deadly earthquake while we here in America were settling on
the couch to watch Parenthood. And what a fine episode
this was Born this way by Lady Gaga was blasting
(00:46):
out of our radios as the number one song in
America as we enjoyed this episode, which I thought was
an excellent episode.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
First of all, your research is a ten. I can't
thank you enough for the extra effort, and this episode
was a ten. Thanks so much for joining us.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
It was fantastic, and there's so much to discuss and
get into, so many great performances.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
One of your favorite things that I'm trying to do
right now, and I feel like we're pulling it off
talking at the same time but still being able to
hear each.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Other like Parenthood does so be.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
There was like nine scenes of that this time. Yes,
So it's a ten. There's a lot to talk about,
and I think we will disagree on things too. So
I'm gonna let you decide where we begin.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
Well, we're I think we begin in my notes, I
start with, well, Crosby, the episode begins with Crosby. We're
going to start with sleep.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
We're going to start with the big guns, Rude that
he left, Rude that he left, Like, let's start with that.
That was that was not cool, that was harsh.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
No, definitely, Second, it's over. The regret seeps in.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
And also they needed to just talk about it. I
actually think if they would have talked about it, he
would have stayed, they would have talked about it. Maybe
we wouldn't have the issue that we had.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Maybe maybe we.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Had a giant implosion partly because he left and they
didn't talk about it, like they could have maybe been
like easy breezy, it happened the you know, you've got
to work, blah blah blah.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Except she has feelings, so I'm not sure it could
you be just eazy.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
Breezy correct, But I do think that maybe if there
was a conversation, it could have gone differently. I just
think it could have gone differently. So, okay, were they
both wrong? Or was Crosby only wrong? Was anyone wrong?
Speaker 2 (02:40):
They're both wrong?
Speaker 3 (02:42):
So you feel like because of the relationship between Minka, Kelly,
Gabby and Max and the Braverman family, Adam and Christina
to be specific, she crossed the line by sleeping with
the brother.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Absolutely, you can't sleep with the clients relative.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
I'm gonna say it's dicey territory, but I'm not going
to give you a hard noe on it.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Not gonna get it's a hard note. I would say fault.
You're looking at sixty forty Crosby, maybe sixty five thirty five.
But Gabby's got to take her share of.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
This, Okay, sure, sure, fair?
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Next, hold do the synopsis. I mean, what are we doing?
Speaker 1 (03:24):
All right?
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Crosby pays the price here we go for a mistake
that will change his relationships with those closest to him.
Adam gets annoyed with Alex's frequent visits. Meanwhile, Adam and
Christina are forced to deal with a huge problem that
will affect Max's progress. Elsewhere, Drew has hit with some
disappointing news from his father, while Sydney makes a decision.
Her parents, Julia and Joel, are supportive of Okay.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Remain storylines here. Yes, Crosby, Sarah and John Corbett's the whole,
that whole deal and then the vegetarian thing, which.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Was so good.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
But we'll get to that.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
But it's like the light, it's like the you need
a little palette. But then there was like some meat
to it was very good with.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
Zeke and Camille. Okay, let's go back to Crosby. Should
Crosby have told everybody right away? Should he have never
told anybody.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Once he crossed the line? I mean, I guess credit
to him for coming clean, right, I mean, you don't
want to carry that the rest of your life.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
Should he really should have talked to Gabby to figure
out the situation.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
On that, but still need Nonetheless, it happened.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
So was Gabby wrong to tell Christina?
Speaker 2 (04:42):
No, I don't think so. Christina pushed her, she did,
she definitely did.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
I think that hold on, I'm getting my I got
to get my massaged hold on.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Of course, when we're going a little fast here, because
we're missing a couple of things.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
By the way, I realized this episode.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Look at that contraption. It looks.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
Here's why I realized this episode was sort of had
a lot of feelings around it, and I'm not going
to be able to truly focus if my back muscle
is just messing me up. So everything's changed for me
now because now I've got my massager going into my
menopause muscles. Okay, was Christina right to go over there?
Speaker 2 (05:24):
Yes? Christina, yes, yes, she wants to keep Gabby. However
she can whatever the problem is, she can solve it.
That's her mind.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
Yeah, And I think Gabby was trying to do the
right thing by going over there. Clearly she had sort
of a letter. She did it in person. That was all.
I'm going to give you a big picture. Crosby's probably
more to blame. It was. Was Crosby right to tell.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Jasmine, absolutely, you have.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
To Jasmine's reaction warranted.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
I think it was exactly correct reaction.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
It was a little extreme.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
He slept with another woman, they're engaged. Oh, here we
go with this again.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
They were on like they were. Ross and Rachel were
definitely on a break. They were on like a maybe.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
A break has to be verbally established, and.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
Fine, I'm gonna give it to you. It's a whole
it's a whole hot mess.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
It's a hot mess. And he had to tell her
and he I don't even remember where this goes, honestly,
so I'm kind of intrigued to find out. But I'm
glad he told her and she had the correct reaction,
and I don't think she could marry him after this,
and I don't think so, yeah, that's right.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
Well, wow, all right, okay, where do we net out
on this mess? And then the mess it ends with
Max learning he has aspergers. Yes, that was big, which
is really called autism spectrum. Well, we'll call it Asperger's
because that's what they say in the show. But I
do think it's an antiquated term now and we need
to check that that's right.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
And unfortunate for doctor Asperger, who was was named after that,
he's being shuttled away.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Like we need to look that up.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
There were a couple of things we missed that At
the beginning, Alex was teaching Max the drop pop game,
which is something I taught my kids and oh yeah, yeah.
They hold the ball over the underside of your elbow
and you pop it up in the air. My kids
are pros at that. And the friends are baffled by it,
and I'm so proud that I taught them that.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
So that was let me give you, let me give
you a little information.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Please.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
Asperger syndrome is no longer used in clinical practice because
there's an overlap with autism spectrum disorder. This is very
in the weeds. I'm not going to bore everybody call
it now A. Yeah, there were misconceptions and stigma with
the term Aspergers. There's a lot of reasons, so we'll
(07:51):
just suffice it to say we don't know what we're
going to call it.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
That was a powerful scene when he was like, because that's.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
What term they use. Yeah, and we had talked about
that in an episode prior where they knew they that
he didn't know, and I think Adam sort of says
something to the effect of, I'll tell him when he
asks about it.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Right, Well, well, here we.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
Are now side tangent. Is Adam overreacting about.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Ash I don't think so, I think me, Well, Alex, Yes,
he's overreacting about Alex. Yes, I agree, he's not overreacting
about Crosby.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
Oh no, no, no, Well I thought Christina handled it
better and I actually was surprised by how Christina was
sort of like, calm down, calm down.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
Right, But it is his brother. If this, if I
were Adam, I they could have reacted very similarly because
his devil may care, lifestyle, his whatever, and now it
is affecting Max, and.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
Max you're messing with you're messing with my kid. That's
kind of the thing that the parent is not, especially
with a sibling. Yes you're because you're kind of have
the guard down with your siblings, so you can just
say it like it is.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
Especially the same sex siblings like that. And also Adam
and Crosby already weren't in a good place because they
were fighting in the basketball court or right.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
Well, also because Crosby's imploding, we could have some Look,
I have some sympathy. I don't know if it's empathy
or sympathy, but I have it for Crosby because he's
struggling and no one's really curing him. They're glossing over it.
They're sort of saying to him like, oh, you're fine,
(09:34):
this is a great girl, You're fine, when he's like,
I'm not fine, wasn't fine?
Speaker 2 (09:41):
What's going on? What are you empathizing with? What is
he going with?
Speaker 3 (09:44):
Because I think that he's losing himself. He's a different
kind of guy than Adam. And on top of that,
I do think Jasmine was being kind of a bit controlling,
and we know that about her, and it's oil and water.
He's a spirit. You know, know who you marry, know
(10:04):
who you're marrying, know who you're dating, and have some
grace for that, adjustment for that. Like, if you are
marrying someone that's more of a free spirit, being totally
controlling is probably not your best move.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
Is sure, that's fine. I just don't know that he's
going through that much. I don't know. I don't have
as much empathy for him as you do. I understand
that he feels like his fiance's being controlling. Wow Wow,
wha doesn't give you the ride to go sleep.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
He tried to talk about it with her and she
just wouldn't and she really reacted harshly and then was
sort of like get out. She didn't quite say that,
but there was sort of a I don't want to
be near you type of vibe. And then he came
back and tried to talk about it a couple times.
Then she bails the birthday, like again. Sixty forty girlsby.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
Going through some stuff with your girlfriend. Fine, but it's
not like he's going through stuff in a grand sense.
I don't know. I don't have that much sympathy for cars.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
I think it's coming grand. If I'm going to be honest,
I kind of think it's grand. I think when I
think for men, maybe especially, but I think suddenly you
find out you have a kid, which she.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Kept from a big deal. But that was a while back,
a year back, Okay.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
All right, you're maybe a year and a half. I
don't know she kept that from him. There's going to
be some sort of damage there. So he's suddenly a dad.
He's dating her, now he's getting married. It's a lot.
Leaving the boat, it's a lot, and I just feel
like nobody because it doesn't seem like a lot to
the rest of the Braverman's they don't care, especially Adam,
(11:43):
maybe Julia. They don't see it. Maybe Sarah gets it
a little more anyway, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
I do want to point out I thought Dak Shepherd
was excellent in this episode. I thought the scene where
he confessed to Jasmine, he was really really strong.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
In that great. He's really good it's funny. It's almost
like there's two Dak Shepherds, because this guy is so
different than the podcast guy. I like both versions. You know,
there's the host Dac Shepherd podcast guy. But he was
very good actor in Parenthood.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
I don't know that he.
Speaker 3 (12:10):
Was as good in some of his other movies or whatever.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
Okay, I can't. I don't remember any of those chips.
Oh my gosh, I came to my mind. Okay, maybe
you're right.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
You know, he started on that Ashton Kutscher show. Don't
tell me what it's called.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
Punk okay, oh oh yeah, that's right.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
He was like no one, He wasn't famous, so it
was so good. He could really punk people because no
one knew who he was. What do you want to
go to next?
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Julia to Julia? Yeah, Julian and Joel.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
I love the fact that that darling kids and her
cute bangs has decided she's a vegetarian.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
You know him, my daughter, one of your kids, very
young age. You know, we saw a movie called The
Biggest Little Farm. Okay, it was what it is called.
We when saw that movie. It was all about farm animals,
and when that was over, she said, I'm not eating
animals anymore. I'm done.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
And did she eat animals?
Speaker 2 (13:13):
Now? It completely stuck. She has not eaten since that movie.
And what was that movie? I was eight eight, nine
years ago.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
Probably didn't you guys have to start cooking different meals.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
To a degree? Yeah? We did, yeah, yeah, and I
remember we went from that movie to veggie grill for dinner. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
it's hard animals. Right, we did. But ever since, she's
been very strict about it, and we're very supportive of that.
That was just seven years.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
Ago, right, I'm totally totally supportive. Now I have a
story that I'm going to tell. Please, please do not
come at me for this. Oh boy, bless my niece. So,
my niece also had a similar experience to Sydney that
a friend became a vegetarian, so she became a vegetarian.
(13:59):
Then she was a vegetarian who ate bacon. I was like,
I'm a vegetarian except when we go to a meat place,
and her sisters were kind of like, she's trying, right,
She's trying. She definitely was like a vegetarian who also
ate hot dogs from time to time in a football game.
But then finally and this is something kind of interesting
(14:21):
for kids that are vegetarians. The doctor actually said this
kid cannot be a vegetarian because she was getting way
too thin. She was not eating enough protein, probably so
it did not stick for her, although I appreciated what
she was trying, right, she also was a kid who
for a time didn't want to give a hug, and
(14:42):
then now she gives ugs again. We just let her
do it, We let her go through it.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
Yeah, Zeek's reaction probably wasn't what they would recommend.
Speaker 3 (14:50):
Although it's very of that time. And look, he didn't
say you must eat meat. He wasn't like, here's a
chicken wing and shoving down her throat. He said, your
grandmother has now made you two meals satan, which I
did laugh out loud. It laughed out, what is satan?
Speaker 2 (15:09):
I don't know's that's a good question.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
It looked gray, looks a little gross, sorry, lovers.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
It's made from gluten.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
The main Well, first of all, that seems like that
sounds gross right there.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
It's a meat substitute due to its chewy texture and
savory flavor.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Oh s E, I t a n You know, I'm
not crazy about anything that's called a meat substitute.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Yeah, that doesn't kind of great again, I.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
Don't need any kind of oprah action with the beef
industry or the satan industry. So to each their own,
but I'd go with the vegetables, the beans, the whole
thing there. That being said, he took the lasagna but
looked very delicious, and I don't eat cheese, and I
really wanted to eat that lasagna and said, just pick
and she's all have dessert, which.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
No, no, no, right, we're going to sit here all day.
And then it was on and he's like, all right when.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
She just.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
Sydney is just all Julia, and Joel is just the
sweetest there isn't. First of all, Joel is the what
is the word forgotten hero?
Speaker 1 (16:14):
Like?
Speaker 3 (16:15):
I love Joel. By the way, there's a bug that's
been crawling around my wall the whole time, and somehow
it's just so distracting to me. Why not kill that?
Speaker 2 (16:27):
You got up and got your.
Speaker 3 (16:30):
I try not to kill bugs.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Wow, very, I will do it.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
I will do it. I know those that really did
not appreciate the mouse getting flushed on the toilet. I
don't know if anyone remembers not storry scroll back. I
definitely try to let spiders go because I heard they
do a lot of good. It doesn't always happen, but
I definitely don't. I don't kill bees. Their bees are crucial.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
Bees are I get sad when I see a.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
Dead b I believe we all die if we don't
have bees.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
Or yes, if the bees next let him live.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
A mosquito though, I'm not going to tolerate. Nope, it's
just some sort of little buggy. But I got three
in the house right now. I don't know how they
got him.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
Well you should name them.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
Tom Dick and Harry.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
There they are.
Speaker 3 (17:14):
First of all, if you're young, you're not going to
get that at all. Like, can you imagine young people
that are like.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Tom Dick and Harry an expression anymore?
Speaker 3 (17:25):
To find that out? Original? And Harry, where does Tom?
Speaker 2 (17:29):
Well you look that up. I did enjoy Zeke confessing
to eating dog in Vietnam. That was funny, disturbing, but funny.
And Camille's like, you can't let the kid feel like
she has all the power. It's backwards. That's actually pretty
solid advice right there.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
Zeke was not wrong, right, well, maybe he was being
Zeke about it and Julia and Joel are not Zeke.
Camille was right, and how about Zeke being sort of
so happy and the way he came and he breast
it and then they bound bound bound in the laundry room. Now,
I was hoping someone was going to kiss you. Have
(18:10):
they not kissed?
Speaker 2 (18:12):
That's what? And by the way, that was my thought
is I never want to get to that point in
my marriage where I go that long without kissing my wife.
That it's right, like even when you're going But yeah,
they got into it. It came back to them real fast.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
Somebody to walk in so bad? All lah when Joel
and Julia, Tom Dick and Harry comes from the use
of common sixteenth and century, sixteenth and seventeenth century names
to represent ordinary random people. So what would it be now,
like Ashton, Tyler, Tyler and Colby. I don't know anyway, Okay,
(18:48):
like my nieces. If you said to my baby like
little nieces.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
Tom Dick and Harry, Harry, Yeah, that's weird.
Speaker 3 (18:54):
You'd have to be like Max, you know, Wyatt and Cooper. Anyway,
let's talk about sets. Looking at a little greasy again.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
Here we go.
Speaker 3 (19:08):
He went back to greasy. See, here's what I thought
about in the shower. Obviously I just got out.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Here's what I don't think about. It's been years since
I've seen you, not fresh out of the shower. You
know that person.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
I know.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
I have a strange schedule because I slat. I went
to bed at like one thirty, woke up at seven,
did emails till nine, fell back to sleep from nine
to ten thirty. Thence why I had to push this
back because I had to take a shower, because if
I don't take the shower, because what I do is
I have meetings and phone calls starting at ten thirty
all the way through. Luckily today it was eleven. Had
(19:40):
to move this to eleven ten. No one cares, but
it's you know, and I want to hear your people's schedules.
Speaker 2 (19:45):
So you're in bed with your laptop.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
Is that what? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (19:49):
And then you finished that round, you slam it shot
and you hit right back to the pillow.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
Right to the point that I dreamed. I had from
between nine and ten thirty. I had multiple dreams, means
that I can remember. I literally was like wow, and
I almost in it was a good job because I
don't get enough sleep. So when I get that. I
guess a good job you did. I'm not going to
beat myself up over that. It's a it's a good
(20:13):
job because I have to get eight and a half
hours now menopose.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
Wow. But what disturbs me about you is that there
is no time of day that I can text you
that you don't respond. I feel like that's too attached
to your phone.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
Thank you, But also, what am I going to do
about it?
Speaker 2 (20:28):
I mean, I get it, but I guess adjust your
schedule to be more like the other humans of the world.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
But okay, I know, but I have a menopause minute
today that it's going to be. For those listening, wait
stick around till the end, because the menopause minute today
is pretty exceptional and I'm needing support through it, and
so I'm hoping people respond. Okay, let's talk about Amber.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
Andrew may Whitman excellent in that scene, gives into discess,
looks great, but when she really gives it as sath,
she was so good the way she was fighting back tears.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
Here's what I feel. They're both right. They're both right. Yes,
they both had a dad that left right and Drew
is responding saying, but he's here now, and I want
to experience it, enjoy it. I don't want to be mad.
I want to like it. And may whitman. Amber is like,
(21:24):
we had a dad who left. Screw this guy. I'm
so hurt by it. I'm so mad.
Speaker 2 (21:30):
Also, right, Yeah, they're feelings, right, valid especially hers because
she's older she remembers more.
Speaker 3 (21:34):
Of the Yeah, but he's got a deal, meaning Seth
with the situation. Now. Amber did not cause Seth to leave,
although the pain of her thinking that, right, oh, you
feel like maybe.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
It pushed Yeah, I'm sure he was going to leave eventually,
but I think he found a way out after that.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
That makes Seth a real you were it does.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
But the discomfort in that scene, first when he gives
it the guitar and she's not interested, and then when
she just gives it to him that this show does
discomfort so well, god so.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
And then first of all, you're kind of enjoying him
cutting the chicken and you see him washing his hands.
You know he's gonna stick around. Drew's loving it, even
Sarah's enjoying it. And then the face of Sarah who's
just like, I'm in shock. I don't know what to do.
Everybody's wrong, everybody's right. I don't know what to do.
I'm just frozen.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
Yeah, and then he and then he goes to her
and says, you know, something came up. I gotta get
out of here. And she says the.
Speaker 3 (22:31):
Speech at the bar was good. Though. When she goes back.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
Out, you're going to be there tomorrow morning, yeah, and you.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
Won't be late. At first, I was sort of disappointed,
like she's just taking it. But when you get when
you have someone like a Seth who repeatedly does this,
you learn also fighting back and trying to prove what's right.
Is this a total waste of time?
Speaker 2 (22:53):
And then they had a beautiful moment. He came back,
he said goodbye, and then Seth and Sarah had a
nice they hugged.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
Good acting by John Corbett.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
Tear tear is good.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
John Corbett is the right guy to play set.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
I guess that's true.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
Yeah he is.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
He's not too scusy, scuzy, but not too scusy. But
the tear thing. You know, there was a time in
my life I thought I could be an actor. Didn't
work out.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
You know, whatever, can you cry?
Speaker 2 (23:20):
I don't think I could ever produce a tear on demand.
I always think of Matt Damon and Goodwill hunting.
Speaker 3 (23:25):
That right now, if you want to roll down the cheek,
and that's so impressive to me. I can't right now,
only because I'm just like I have to gear myself
up a little bit. But like I could, I could
totally do that, Like.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
I see, I could see myself. I could get misty,
I could get wet eyed. But I don't think I
could produce a physical tear rolling down my face.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
I think I could ball like a baby if I Yeah,
I actually really really really do because I am always
how do I explain this? I have so much that
at any moment I kind of need to come out.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
Yeah, it's like, that's what this is.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
This is just anxiety in my neck.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
Right that she went stress and then the Muscle Rocks implement,
and then the great scene with Drew and Amber when
Amber says song She's sorry, and Drew says the quote
(24:25):
if he was a real dad, nothing you could have said, Yeah,
it made him leave.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
Yep, yes, beautiful, and they said mom's here basically, yeah,
she's not going anywhere. They kind of giggle, and then
she does the song small fingers, small toes or something
like that. Yes, her eyes, my nose. It's not even
a great song.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
We totally know it.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
We know it very And then a montage. I love
a montage.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
We need to know who wrote that song in actuality.
And then we're to assume that Sarah's writing songs right
sitting on the floor.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
Yeah, oh yeah, yeah yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
I mean this is a ten. This is a ten episode.
I cried, I got tiary. I was thinking I was
gonna do a couple of things. Couldn't stop watching it.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
I'm going to nine point eight. I didn't cry because
I didn't cry.
Speaker 3 (25:19):
Oh I am.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
I did.
Speaker 3 (25:21):
And here's what happens to me. I go, I'm gonna
watch fifteen minutes. I'm gonna go do a few things
and I'll come back. Nope, she just sat there.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
For the whole thing. Small fingers, small toes, your forehead,
my nose. Yeah, no matter how far away you are
for me tonight, it's all right. By the way, the
chords are at Ultimate Guitar dot Com. To get into this,
the internet icon't it's amazing so good.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
What who wrote it?
Speaker 1 (25:47):
Though?
Speaker 2 (25:47):
Well, let's see if that's out there, because.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
I if it says Seth and Sarah, I will wet
my pants.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
Uh, I don't think, not.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
Knowing it's maybe like it maybe like Bachelor art. So
you know my story about the Bachelor. They paint the
art for the show so they don't have to clear it.
So somebody is hired to paint the art, and I
have a painting from the Bachelor and they change it out.
So I have a painting from the Bachelor Mansion and
the painting's amazing. Would anybody want to see it?
Speaker 2 (26:23):
I would like to see it.
Speaker 3 (26:25):
Put it on the gram as. First of all, I
saw Kim Kardashian saying IG. So is that what the cool?
Speaker 2 (26:34):
It's ig? Okay?
Speaker 3 (26:35):
Yeah, let me bring this up really nice for everybody. Jackie,
I will send this to you so people can understand
what Bachelor art is. Okay, should we do the menopause
minute before?
Speaker 2 (26:48):
It's all original art in the Bachelor Mansion.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
Yeah, because then they don't have to clear it. So
let me tell you. So I have a plan based
on that because we're always building studios and we have
meat art in the studios. So my aunt, my aunt
Sherry shout Out is a paint is an artist. She's
a painter. I don't know you call it artist. She's
kind of retired from it, but she has tons of paintings.
(27:11):
So I've got them all over my house.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
Well let me see it. I mean, you just sent
it and you're not letting me.
Speaker 3 (27:21):
This is bachelor art, not aunt cherry art.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
So, uh, this is your home right now? And what
is that room you're in. It's not like an office.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
This is my office, but it's very attached. It sounds
fancy like I have an office. It's sort of barn
door in to the living room, so like nobody can
be in the living room when I'm in here. But
it's like a little I like to call a little
den to take us back to the seventies. But it's
just But what happened was I used to face a
different direction and that wall actually has wallpaper, but you
(27:49):
can barely tell. It's a little hot. It's a little
white for the backdrop now but whatever.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Okay, two fish to they look like they're orange and
white fish. Yeah, swimming next to each other, almost yang circle.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
And there was a pair to that painting, but Chris
Harrison's former wife ended up with that painting and it
got lost because I would have loved both. I just
took that out. It was a garage one day.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
It's a nice it's a nice photo, and go to it's.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
An amazing it's an amazing painting. So anyway, my aunt Cherry,
I'm getting a bunch of paintings from her because we
don't have to clear them.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
Yeah. Smart, And then we can put it the.
Speaker 3 (28:28):
Podcast studios, right because my aunt's not gonna sue me.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
And now it's time for the menopause minutes.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
Ladies of a certain age. This is my latest thing.
So in my thirties and forties, I could go on
my walks and read my emails and respond while walking.
Just I've noticed over the last year I would be
(28:59):
on my walk and I'd start to look at my
emails and it's start veering to the right. Whoa, and
I'm like it scared me. I was like, am I okay?
Like what is going on?
Speaker 1 (29:10):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (29:12):
And I kind of thought, oh, maybe that's something's going
on there. The last few days I've noticed, oh my god,
if I try to read respond walk all at the
same time, look up, it's not dizzy. I don't get
dizzy dizzy. It would it's like whoa. It's almost like that,
(29:33):
almost like a carsick feeling.
Speaker 1 (29:35):
You're like, whoa.
Speaker 3 (29:37):
So of course I payan like because I'm like, what's
wrong with What's wrong with me?
Speaker 1 (29:42):
Now?
Speaker 3 (29:43):
Google it and I'm basically like, I can't read my phone,
write emails and walk at the same time. And it's
called cybersickness or something. It has a name. But fun
fact for you when you go through menopause, when you're
in menopause, host menopause, you're balance? Is it because you
don't have estrogen? It kind of has something to do
(30:04):
with the inner ear and the whole thing, the balance thing.
So it makes proper sense because I've had every test
in the book that I've in my blood work, every
doctor and this only occurs when I am walking fast
to read and write emails like never at home, never,
none of that.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
Yeah, well, you guysoud be careful if you're ever hiking
near a cliff side, because I've done that before and
you don't want to go veering off the cliff.
Speaker 3 (30:29):
Like you were reading your emails.
Speaker 2 (30:30):
No, no, no, I've just you just got off places
I've been hiking where I'd be like, oh geez, I
need a related focus here because I got a little
cloac less to the edge.
Speaker 3 (30:37):
That's a little vertigoy. I can't I don't really like
to be on like like I'm not the go out
on the balcony type look over.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
Okay, sure that's not for me. That can mess with you.
Speaker 3 (30:47):
I would feel I'm almost feeling nauseous thinking about it.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
Wow, all right, And actually a little bit of.
Speaker 3 (30:52):
Nausea can be a menopause symptom sometimes something to do
with the when I get the hot flash, it's almost
like wave of anxiety one minute, hint, tweak of nausea,
occasionally full sweat.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
Yeah, it's great, it's great, really so great.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
It sounds like it's a real treat. All right. Next week,
Season two, Episode eighteen, Qualities and Difficulties. I feel like
we're heading towards the end of season two.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
I'm assuming there's twenty two episodes.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
I assume so so we got like five more so
I'll be able to get the end of the season
before Romo comes back.
Speaker 3 (31:26):
Yeah that's a good plan. Actually, yeah, miss can you
make an appearance from time to time? I'd be happy
to Three voices is not too many, I mean five
too many?
Speaker 2 (31:36):
Five too many. I agree.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
We listen if you want to coming in January, so
we've got a lot. Or are the people excited about
listen if you want to. Now, no one is still
listening because they tuned out at the menopause minute. But
if there's one person looked that look great stuff ten.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
Great stuff nine point eight out.
