Speaker 1 (00:00):
Why I am embarrassed. So welcome back to the final
episode of I Am Paris with Megan Trainer. Let's talk
about the future. So you just announced the Timeless tour,
which is coming in the fall.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
What can all the fans expect September? It is a
short tour, so short budget, so there is no band
and they are dancers, but we're gonna make it so
interesting and fascinating and fun. And I'm gonna be dancing.
Did I'm gonna be in the best shape of my
life because I'm already pretty close. I work out are hard,

(00:41):
I eat so clean, and I'm seeing my body change
and I feel like when you have kids, you have
to I feel like I have to be fit to
carry these kids and chase them and like put them
in a bath and throw them on the toilet, like
work out. It's like back Like I remember my husband,
he's in better shape now, but when we our second baby,

(01:01):
he kept pulling out his back. He was like, dude,
why am I thirty pulling all my back? And I
was like, because we're lifting these children all day. So
I'm trying to be in the best day of my
life for them and for this tour. So I can
survive all these dance moves every night, and it should
be really fun, really cool. And I'm gonna be an arena,

(01:22):
so it has to be a good tour. Oh wow,
he's gotta be a good show, right. I'm like, well,
anyone help me put on a good show. I'll help you.
Thank you. Yeah, you could do it. I'm stealing all
your people. I'm like, who does this for you? I
love them.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
I have a really good body guy too. If like
your body and back is hurting. Really he's j Loo's
guy for like fifteen years and traveled with her everywhere
I need it. He comes and he just puts me
back together, puts.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Me back together again? Howbe he needs it? Yes, Ye'll
take it.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Okay, I'll give you this info as well.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Hold this true. I know I just need the assistant.
Send me the list.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
You know, we'll good at My husband will do it
because he's Oh I love it, most organized person.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
It's so good.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
I'm like the disorganized one and he's the organized one.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Yeah. Team, that's great. Mm hm. So this is your
first tour in seven years? Seven years? Wow? Nervous? Uh yeah,
I'm nervous. No one will show up. But I've seen
a lot of comments that people are showing up, so
I'm excited. We'll be there show. When is the show
at the Forum in La? Show and oh my god,

(02:31):
that's crazy to say at the Forum because I've been
to so many shows. There is October nineteenth. It is
the very last show. And I'm asking anyone, anyone of
my friends, to just jump on stage. Just go nuts,
just show your face, let everyone see you. It was
so cool. Dance with me. Let's party. It'll be sick Paris.

(02:51):
We could sing our song together, yes, and change the
world through art.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
I'll be there, Yes, done, Chase there please October nineteenth.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
We will be at the Forum in La the Timeless Store.
It's living on stage.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Do you have any pre show rituals or superstitions?

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Hum, I don't think so. I am gonna do my
own glam I'm telling you, budgets are tight. I'm gonna
do my own glamb So I'm gonna have nice time
to calm down and do that. And I do like
vocal warm ups. I have tea. I'm pretty boring. I'm
gonna try to meditate, but I'm not good at it.

(03:37):
I just get racing thoughts and I'm like, get me
out of here, so you just freak out before Oh
my god. Recently on my shows, my heartbeat goes so
nuts right before I get on stage. And then I
go out there and I flip a switch and I'm
a new person. It's great.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Same as soon as you hear everyone's cheering and happy
having You're just like, yes, here you go.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
And then it goes by so fast. Yeah. Well, I've
looked at that sound and I gotta go, oh god,
we're not even halfway there. How long is your concert?
That's like up in the air right now. We keep
changing the set list. My manager's like, you could do
an hour and a half and I'm like, holy crap,

(04:22):
it's a long time. So I'm trying to fill it up.
But I yeah, I'm trying to figure out creative ways
to get water breaks. You know. Yeah, I should think
about all those things. It's weird. Are you going to
do any alpha change? Yes? I put in there like
spot for alpha changes. It gets so sweaty though that
it's a mess. At last concert, my mom was doing

(04:43):
my alpha changes for me. She was a beast. She
was so good at it.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
She's like Pratt, let's go.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
But I remember being so drenched in sweat and I
was like, oh, I'm sorry more. Yeah, she's done it
all for me. So our fans may not know about
the yet.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
You and I recorded a song together called Chasin for
my new album, which comes out this September.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
What can you tell people about the song? Oh my god,
I want to be on tour. Oh my god. Okay.
This song is a very special song that I wrote
around the time I did the Voice UK so before
my babies, and it's been so special to me that
I never gave it away and I couldn't even release

(05:28):
it because I was like, if it's not a single,
it's not worth it, Like it needs to be have
its own special place. And I knew. I was like,
someone will make it really special. I just have to
hold on to it. But it's hard when, like producers
and publishers, everyone wants to pitch it and send it
out because everyone knew, like everyone knows hearing it. They're like, oh,
this would be great, like people will love this. And
it's one of those timeless ones that even if it

(05:48):
was written years ago, it still hits like I wrote
it yesterday, which is nice, and I knew it would
do that, but I also fun factor wrote it with
my older brother Ryan Trainer, and it's so funny because
it was in the beginning when he's like, I'm not
a songwriter and I was like, yes, you are, bro,
sit with me and we wrote it on this tiny
piano and he's like, Yo, that's fire and I was

(06:08):
like right. I was like, you can write songs. And
I'm just so glad I found the greatest home of
all time. And it was one of those moments when
we heard you were writing music. My mom and I
and my team we went, oh, Jason. We were like,
this is the moment. This is what we've all been
waiting for. And I sent it to you and Sea

(06:30):
and was like, please like it, and y'all did, and
it made me so happy because it deserves to go home.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
I love it so much. You're the greatest home.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
The words are so good.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Who came up with was that you or your brother
who wrote the parts like about like a guy who's
just like using someone for the flashing lights and likes?

Speaker 2 (06:52):
But I was Ryan. Ryan was like I love that.
I was like, what would Drake say?

Speaker 1 (06:55):
What would what would like a rapper say here, and
he was.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Like flashing lights and I was like, okay, yeah he's
he's really cool with that stuff. I thought that was
a really cool good with visuals. Yeah, h that's sick.
I'm like, I cannot wait such a summer. Your voice
sounds so good and the precourse is as long as
hard to sing? Are you sang it? When you're like

(07:20):
I would have died for you? I was like, oh,
do it? See I brought something out of me.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (07:26):
She was there nice.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
I just feel like before her I was so used to,
like on the first album, just like kind of singing,
very breathy with her. She's like you want to impress
her in the room to see us singing literally terrifiedly.
I can't live up to her, but I will do
my damn best. But yeah, I was like, Paris' is
belting like it was good. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
I can't wait for I want to hear Oh my gosh,
I can't wait too.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Yes, God, I can't wait to do a music video.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Yeah, what are we doing? We need to plan. I'm
gonna be in such good shape, don't you worry? Yes,
like treatment, what's gonna look like? I'll just come to
this living spa every exactly. I'll hit it up for
like two weeks and then I'll be like, let's do
this video. I'm ready.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
So let's wrap up with some fun rapid fire questions.
I'll say two options and you pick one. Don't overthink it.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
