This is Paris, Hey, everybody, So it's Oscar Week. Usually
the Oscars take place around the end of February, but
this year everything is different, so this year in April.

(00:23):
So anyways, Um, like I said, it's a lot different
than the normal Oscar Week in many ways because usually
there is so many parties, so many events, just like,
so many amazing things happening. And now literally every single
party and event I'm hearing about is on zoom. Even

(00:44):
with Elton John's event. He does the charity event every
year on the Sunday of Oscar Eve, and he's doing
it virtual as well. They have dually pre performing and yeah,
basically everything I'm hearing about is almost going to be online.
So yeah, it's kind of beyond because I love Oscar Week.

(01:05):
I love getting dressed up. It's just all of my
friends from all around the world fly in for this
because it's just an amazing week to be here in
Los Angeles. Um. But whatever, next year we'll be able
to celebrate normally. So anyway, last night we went out
Jeremy Zimmer, he is the CEO of my agency U

(01:26):
t A, and he invited Carter and I to go
to dinner and They're having an Oscar dinner party at Craig's.
Craig's is one of my favorite restaurants in l A.
The food is just incredible, such a good vibe. I
have not been there in a year since this whole
pandemic has happened, so it was great to go back

(01:46):
there last night. Also, it was so much fun to
get dressed up, all dolled up, have my hair makeup done.
I had my hair cut shorter, too, which I'm loving.
I was so nervous to cut my hair in the
beginning because I'm just so used to having this long
mermaid hair. But after my Lon Bond campaign, I was
just getting such an amazing reactions and I just felt

(02:06):
like I looked so chic. And then when Carter even
said you would look stunning with your hair short, I
was like, all right and just chopped the mob. So yeah,
I've been loving my short hair. So about my hair
last night, Glenn Coco, he is my hairdresser, He's the
one who cut my hair. I was like, I want
to go shorter because I just interviewed someone last week

(02:29):
and I just I love her hair and I wanted
to be like this. And then I was looking through
my phone to find that This is Paris podcast Instagram
page and showed him the video of Katie Kurik and
he was like what. He's like, I was not expecting
you to say you want your hair don't like Katie Kurik.
I was like, well, I love it. I think it
looks so chic. It's beautiful. And I told her I

(02:51):
was gonna copy her hair do, and um yeah, so
he cut it. He was like, I was just not
expecting that. My my girl Kissa, who's doing my nails,
was like, yeah, I was not expecting you to say
that name. I thought you were gonna say someone else,
So um yeah, I'm full of surprises. So I had
my hair cut shorter and I'm loving it, and then

(03:15):
Roquel came over and did my makeup and it just
looked gorgeous. I was so excited to be going out,
so I just wanted to just go all out. And
then I had lan Vaughn and Valentino send me a
bunch of gowns and just did a fitting and tried
everything on, and then I picked the most gorgeous Valentino

(03:36):
gown it was, and there were so many amazing choices
I love Lan Vaughan, I love Valentino, so it was
hard to choose, but this one dress just stuck out
of me and I was like, I have to rock
this so gorgeous, pink, beautiful, stunnying, elegant gown. I could
literally looked like if Barbie was wearing a Valentino gown

(04:00):
mixed with Marilyn Monroe. Gave me that vibe from that
movie Diamonds are a girl's best friend when she's like
in the pink gown with the diamonds. And then I
put on this gorgeous diamond necklace and my shoes were beautiful.
I was trying to find a pink pear in my
closet and I had a couple, but there was one
that I was like, this is perfect because it was

(04:21):
like the exact same pink and they're like pink satin shoes.
And then in like this kind of Barbie handwriting, it
says pink as on both of them in the front um.
So my dress was long, so I covered them, but
you know, just wearing those with that was kind of
funny to me. And then Carter looks so handsome. I
love when he's in a suit, so um, I had

(04:44):
to take some photos of us together before we went
out for the night, so Kevin was there and he
took some amazing photos because I just love to have
the memories. So then we pulled up to Craig's and
there was literally like dirty paparazzi outside, just flash lights
just I think they were just so excited that people
were finally going out again as well. Um so yeah,

(05:07):
that was a little bit blinding walking in there, but
everybody loved my dress and screaming out all these questions.
Um yeah, it was. It was pretty crazy. And then
I went in and as I walked in, I was like,
oh no, I am so overdressed. Like they said business casual,

(05:28):
but it's my first night out and I was jacked up,
so I was like, I need to like be decked out.
But as I walked in, like everyone was staring at me,
like it seems like just everyone was like in like
just more casual, like sweaters and gene not jeans but
like leather pants or I don't know, just not boring

(05:48):
but just like not like a pink Valentino gown. So
I was very overdressed. Um so I felt kind of
beyond but Carter made me feel good and it was like,
you're the most gorgeous girl in the world. Don't worry.
It's better to be overdressed than underdressed, and um, it
made me feel better. And oh yeah. Then we had

(06:11):
our dinner and the food is so epic there at
this like fried chicken with a truffle honey, and they
have these like pancake things that they start with it.
It's insane. And the dessert was so good, like these
really amazing chocolate cookies and this Oreo cheesecake. The food

(06:31):
there is incredible. I love it, and um yeah, so
that was a night. It was fun. It was like
a chill dinner, very elegant, and great to see Jeremy
and his wife and um just some of the team
from U t A. We had a great conversations and

(06:51):
I also bumped into Patrick Schwarzenegger and his girlfriends, so
Carter and I said hello to them, and um, yeah,
I was It was fun. And then leaving again, of
course again there was even more paparazzi at this point, um,
probably like eighty of them, and yeah, lots of flashes

(07:11):
on the way out. Got out of there and then
came home and went about early because I had a
big day today. So yeah, that was my first night
going out in Oscar week. I know it wasn't the exciting.
Usually is way more exciting, but in I'm sure I'll
have some crazier stories for you all. But it's just

(07:33):
the beginning of the week and there's more coming up,
