that she's going to come back.

The leaking is no good.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Oh man, it's terrible. Ga Judae, oh man, shout out
to Yeah, you are a badass. Is that the ghost
of I don't like that, Tamar Judge.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
That freaked me out, Babe.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
That was really weird. That's never happened, Test says. Test says,
sometimes I don't know what I'm looking at. Yeah, but
we just kind of like this every time. I seeking sure,
Oh we're cooking, Oh we're cooking.

(01:59):
What can I say, Let's just jump into it because
we're coming off the heels of.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
A big, big, big surprise.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Big birthday bash.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
I'm like shaking with joy and happiness.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
We literally just celebrated Kibi's birthday. Fifty bait. The fact
that you're fifty six and I'm looking at you. You
have zero point zero makeup on you look thirty two
years old.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Oh yeah, well you're exaggerating, but I'll take it thirty.
I'll take five.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
No, I'm thirty eight.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
I like forty eight, probably forty nine, No fucking way,
My r Ring says that I'm negative three point five
years behind cardiovascularly. If you can tell my voice is
a little rough, I'm a little under the weather physically,
but in spirit, I'm overjoyed.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
We I will say that our good friend Tammy and.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
All my best friend. You don't like to say best
friend because you're so old, but she is my my lifeblood,
my life. I'm so old. You're just old and you
don't you have you don't have to deep have best friends,
and you know there are bestest friends are like it's
they're actually like family. You've heard us talk.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
About team Allen and Tammy went above and beyond to
help me and on their own to celebrate Keebi's birthday.
I will say that I was a little spacey. I
don't spend a lot of time and thought into birthdays.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Very busy too, No, No.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
I like to do also like the hit and move like.
I like it to work out like this. I like
it sort of planned late surprise later you know there's
no plan, but then there is a plan and it
always works out.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Full disclosure. It's my birthday, so I'll talk a little bit.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Go ahead.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
What I want to say is that I do this thing. Actually,
your birthday was yesterday, yesterday, because.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
We're not going to celebrate the thing to the whole month.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
By the way, my Hebrew birthday is on the twentieth,
so you're in for it November twentieth. I got the
tenth and the twentieth anyway, So a full disclosure, babe.
I like to make a big deal about my birthday
only to give you shit. I don't really care as
much as I portend. Is that a word, pro pretend,
pretend protests Anyway, I like to go it's my birthday,

(04:11):
it's my birthday next week, it's my half birthday. I
love doing it. For some I find humor in it.
I think it's ridiculous. I know that you don't do
that with your birthday. It can come and go. In fact,
years and years past, I didn't even give you a car.
I gave you nothing. I give you gifts all during
the year, most of which you don't like. You don't
really find you just got that guy. But me, my

(04:32):
love language is like surprises, gift giving not expensive. Like
I tell you, if you go get me some gum
at the grocery store, you come back. I'm I'm elated.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
That's very very that we want to God to make
sure we clarify that, Yes, you don't care what it is,
it can be. What's those mints you like? We're off
the mints that I'll get some.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Times mummy bears. I like amento mentos mentos.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
One time I got kibi, like I was at some
airport and they had some crazy candy store in the
airport and they had every flavor of mentos and flavors
I never heard from. Like it was one of these
like crazy candy places, and I got you like it
was like all color of mentos this was it might
as well have gotten you out like a car.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Yes, I like it. I mean I've gone in Tammy's
closet and I've tried to get things that I've given
her to get back. She's like, dummy, you gave those
to me. It wouldn't be meaningful if she gave me
like an old pajama set. Like, I don't care what
it is. I just when I love somebody and they
give me anything a string.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
That I said that being said, tell the birthday.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Reveal yesterday, like I was not feeling well. We didn't
really do much my birthday I was papooing. You were like, oh,
come on, you got beautiful flowers that are amazing. Those
are nights and roses that are just absolutely gorgeous. Yes,
I never saw peonies open up like quite that. I
don't know if there are peonies. I think there's something
else well, the manufactured beautiful flowers that you got me.

(05:57):
I wanted one thing that you kind of failed on.
I wanted your undivided attention. You had work to do yesterday, Babe, listen,
I want it stop.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Let's stop, let's stop, let's stop.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Let's be grateful.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
I get not only did you you wanted my undivided
attention for the last week. And I'm like, I'm watching
the game, like the fucking NFL's on, like during the day,
you're not. I don't care what day of the week
it is. I am fighting in fantasy football. I can't
give you attention when the Giants are playing the whole time.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
I'll try, no, But I like when I say something
for you to put your phone down and acknowledge that
I say this, that was it was a gift you
could give to me, And yes I did. Okay, I
give you sixty five out of one hundred seventy maybe
seventy seventy percent, sixty five failing.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
I think No.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Sixty five is back to see. I mean that's no
sixty five, babe, sixty Oh you know you would know
sixty five d You would know.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Trust me. Some it depends like certain classes graded certain ways.
It'd be like if you get a sixty one. I
remember getting like on test and I know they were
doing it just so they didn't family like, we're giving
you a sixty one. I'm like, all right, I'll take it.
I don't go fuck if I passed the math test like,
it didn't hurt my ego. I didn't try. And the

(07:05):
sixty one is better than it's better than I expect because.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
It depends on what color they write it in, right,
if it's red sixty one?

Speaker 1 (07:11):
So what were you doing as far as attention the
last forty I give.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
You, I say seventy because you also had events. You
had an event last night, you were on the road,
you were so sick. We're also not feeling well. But
it's a joke. This is my humor to dig on you,
to give you a hard time. I like, it is
what I do you know?

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Anyways, say about jokes. All humor comes from a truthful players.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
And we all know that that's true. Okay, So, but
you know, I went on a cake tour because I
was really obsessing for the carrot cake, and it's hard
to find the kind of carry. I've had one good
carrot cake in my life. I mentioned before that in
Israel there's a place that there has care cake. I
can't remember the name of that place, and Tammy's Best
carrot Cakes. Ever, so I got carro cake delivered from Magnolia.

(07:55):
I got Lloyd's.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Carrot cake obviously, did the famous Trader Joe's podcast.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Yes, a Trader Joe's carry. I've been on a cake tour.
In fact, I couldn't find the cake because so I
switched to chocolate. That chocolate cake from Lloyd's was delicious,
didn't you think so very much? Anyway? So I'm sick
with cake and I'm just.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
A point go to Lloyd's. By the way, Lloyd's delivery,
and when you start delivering cake, it's not.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Like I got slices.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
So yeah, but I feel like, because I will say,
when we've gotten cake fresh out of Lloyd's a one time,
it's different when you're getting it right there, as opposed
to you know, you're going out and the weather's cold
and it's being moved around. That's different. I think cake
is something specific where you got to like boom boom.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Yes, So that being sad. This morning you went out,
you got up to go out to your office Starbucks
and I was here and I'm like, I think I
need to go get some use and X I'm feeling
tight in the chest. And you came home. You walked
in the door with the biggest box I've ever seen heavy,
and I was like, I didn't get a gift. And
I was like, okay, I usually get some jewelry. I

(08:58):
like to get a little, you know, but I didn't
get Wait, it's snowing outside, Mabe.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
Yeah, I know. I was snewing earlier too, so I
was precious from Starbucks. She told me. She said, Mike,
you know it was snowing this morning. Oh really, I
got to give a shout out to precureus. So I
know doesn't listen to the pockets, but I'm gonna tell
her to listen to this. She's gonna be like she
told me it was snowing this morning. Now it's snowing again. Anyway,
go ahead, I'm not going anywhere.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
I'm gonna send you out for me some nights. Anyway,
you come in with the hugest box, and I gotta
be honest, just full disclosure. I thought, this is not jewelry, no,
and I part of it was like, oh no, or
clothes or clothes, And I thought, oh no, did he
find like a weird piece of artwork somewhere? And thought
it made the executive decision to put this in our house.
I literally thought that because I was like, oh, it

(09:40):
could be like allah when you were twenty and you
came home twenty one and you came home from the
Venice Film Festival and you had just first made a
little bit of money. I think we've talked about this before,
and you bought Italian glass blown clown that was thirty
It was hideous, okay, and you and by the way,
when we got back together, you still had the clown.
It was a very big disappointment.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
Money has that clown. We gave it.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
I think we gave it to the real attur. Yes,
our nick's brother, and he was gonna give it to
somebody he thought it was The ear was broken. I
looked it up. It was worth a lot of money.
It was a long time ago.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
The guy's a real artist.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
No, it's a real big artist. Not no reason for
me to.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Get his hand was broken.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
The clown clans Yeah, and I think we tried to
blue it all.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
It looked good, but it still was.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
The clown is hideous.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
And I don't like that thing is who has that clown? Babe?

Speaker 2 (10:31):
Nick? Nick Collins has it?

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Nick about it?

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Okay, So anyway, I see the big box and I'm like,
oh no, oh gosh, this is like a status some
crazy statue from I don't know some artists that you saw,
because you've been known to do that. Buy something from
an artist on Instagram. Yes, we have two paintings that
are at are. One of the guys downstairs has it

(10:54):
in his new house. By the way, he showed me
a picture. They look great in his house. They just
they weren't quite our style.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Anyway, I want to give a disclosure. Do not buy
art on Instagram. If you're buying art, it has to
be you have to see it with your own eyes.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Yes, everything looks good in a photograph.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
Everything looks good in a photograph. Yes, yes, it's like
it's like, it's like a beautiful woman. You see them
on Instagram. They got all kinds of you see these
and then you hear about their stories and the filters
and the.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Well, we'll come back to that when we talk about
the Housewives of Potomac. Go okay, anyway, So you open
the box. You need help with the box. I'm like, whoa,
I don't see what's in it. There's bubble wrap, it's heavy,
like you're needing assistance. We pull it out. I still
don't know what it is. You pull it out, and
I'm like, what is this thing? It's wrapped and wrapped
and wrapped in I confuse them. I totally confused. And

(11:44):
then I could feel it and it's cold. Yes, and
then the tears come.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
I begin to sob and that's not even half a gift.
And then you kind of throw to the side. Oh
and this is for me, something that I've been wanting.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
But you didn't say what was in the box, Babe?

Speaker 2 (11:58):
A ca cake from Tammy and Allan. Can you believe it?
You guys, she figured out who literally gold Belly, Tammy, Goldbelly,
Alan Goldbelly sent me a cake from Los Angeles okay,
she made it my favorite favorite care cake. I'm so happy.
I haven't eaten it yet because it's sitting out to

(12:19):
room temperature now. But it traveled well. It looks really great.
And then you gave me a box and it had
a piece of Juliane it that I've been wanting for
a long time, and I just cried. And then you
called Tammy, and then there was another.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Part of it.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
They made a making of video set to the themes.
I bawled. I have you, guys, have made me feel
so loved. And you know the reason why I call her.
I have to always say that's my booby, my best
for everything, because I got to tell you, guys, one
of the blessings in life is to have friends that
you would do any thing for and would be there

(12:56):
for you. And we have that in Tammy and Allen,
and I am forever grateful. And in these days where
things are a little wacky and friendships come and.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Go, yes, you got to or they go and go.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
Oh, they go and go and they and they never
come back and they're not quite sure why. Yes, but
when you have people in your life that are so
incredible and kind and loving and they're like family. You
just don't you don't forget it for a second. So
you should thank you because I brought them into your life.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
So they're the salt of the earth.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
They are the best people in the world.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
So anyway that I didn't be happier that you were
so happy with the collective birthday present.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
Somebody else gave me a cake too. By the way,
a friend of a friend this weekend in Long Island
made me a beautiful, beautiful care cake. Thank you so
much with a lovely poem, and it was really really sweet.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Above and beyond. It was so good, old and that
was actually very.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
Good, delicious.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
I feel so loved and you deserve everything.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
Oh that's so nice. But it's been a great birthday.
Fifty six is starting out great.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
We have to transition.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
We have to transition because this is it's about to
get your right. You said it's going to get very
heavy on our show.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Rapper Ports Reality get heavy.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
The Trader's trailer.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
The Trader's trailer and the date January eighth, twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
We got two months away and the.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Entire cast has been revealed. The photos have come out.
They dropped a trailer and I have gotten a lot
of questions you have, I have gotten a lot of comments,
and again the cast of the highlights. I don't want
to go through everybody, but the great Candice Dillard from Potomac,
who should absolutely be back on Patona.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
They need her for sure.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
I don't even know why she's off.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Is it her decision because she was gonna have a
baby and I.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
Don't know, there was that beef and it's I don't know,
but she should four hundred percent be back. And of
course Carolyn Stansbury, and of course the great Durnda Medley,
of course the great Lisa Rinna and the great Porsche Williams.
This was for me again. You could have sat me

(15:15):
down with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Kawhi Leonard, Jalen Brunson,
and Jalen Brown and I would have been as just
as excited. There was one moment while I was with
all five of those housewives where I was like, this
is the NBA All Star Game. I'm with like I'm with.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
Stephan, I know, I know the expression on your face
the whole time. Your mouth was a little bit open,
like in awe that you were to be.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
With five of them from five different franchises. You're like,
what the fuck.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
I hope it didn't mess up your game, you know,
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
I can't confirm or deny any of that. I can't
confirm or deny anything, but I will say somebody, somebody
on social media, because I posted a picture, they said
something to that effect, like, I know Michael Rupert was
tripping out with these and that person who mentioned that,
who probably listened to this podcast. Yes, yes, I was
tripping out.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
And that's that's It's joyful. It's all the joy in
the world. I cannot wait. I'm nervous. I gotta be honest.
I'm a little nervous. You should be okay, Well, well
that's I don't know what. I won't be able to
sleep tonight.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
What do you mean, no full disclosure. I haven't told listen,
you signed paperwork. They're like, don't tell anybody anything.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
Nor do I. I don't want to get sued.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Right, sue me, sue U, super rapper. I haven't told
my wife shit about the experience, except for like the
stuff in the hotel, you know, when we were speaking. Uh,
but you know, the it's been a great time. I
will give a shout out to my friend who I made, Tiffany,
who was on the show. I'm looking at the just

(16:47):
the cast.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
There were some people on there that I didn't record.
There's a beautiful Asian woman and and a guy that's
Asian that I don't know who these people are. I
know when they announced it, they didn't.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
Well, that's Kristen is from Is she's a sh And
then there's Eric who's a singer and an actor. And
then of course the great Colton Underwood. We know him
from the batcheler who followed his story, followed it very close. Cried,
remember we cried. We cried when we watched his documentary.
Very moving. And listen, it's coming out January eighth. And oh,

(17:22):
then there's a snake chaser, Rob Love Island Rob the
ladies love Rock with his tattoos, his snake tattoos and
and uh, it's gonna be a good time. It's gonna
be Listen. What I'm expecting is you shoot so much footage? Yeah,
I mean there's hours. I can't even imagine the undertaking

(17:44):
of the amount of hours because it's like twenty people
in the I'm gonna.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
Say, how many cameras do they have like when you're
inside that.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
Castle, I don't even know.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
You don't know because the cameras are hidden.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
To I mean, each room there's cameras. They're not hidden,
you see them. But there's like there's mechanical cameras, and
there's like and then there's camera men and you know,
and there's camera people and then you know. Listen, it's
going to be a good time. It's going to be
a good No, don't be nervous, it's going to be
a good time. I'm going to.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
Time a peace and joy over here, like your birthday. No,
I know, but I'm thinking about traders and the people
going to say things about all I'm.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
Going to say, listen, guys, I could tell you one
thing what in regards to saying things. And I've seen
some tomato emojis, like you're throwing tomatoes, I throw them back.
That's all I'm going to say, is I guess in traders.
I don't know. I've never seen this before. Because our
friend Samantha was like are they she said what she asked?

(18:42):
She didn't know what the emoji as I said, there some.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
People like rotten tomatoes storing at you.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
But I just want just the listeners to know, like me,
I might be the only person who throws them back.
I throw the tomatoes back.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Yeah, I know, you do. I know that. That's what
I'm worried about.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
It's gonna be just fine. But the people are excited.
It's gonna be good, and it's gonna be good TV inside.
My prediction for the show, yeah, guarantee it. Actually, I'll guarantee.
I guarantee quote the great Charles Barkley. And it's not
just me. The show has been building. This will absolutely
be the most watched season of Trader. I think by

(19:21):
far by far by far.

Speaker 2 (19:24):
Okay, all right, I'm excited.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Bring your big satchel of tomatoes, babe. The comment that
we made transitioning about the Great Heather Gay in Salt
Lake City, Yes, and the Great Heather Gay being the leak, Yep,
no one is confirmed or denied it.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
I don't go online. I mean, what are they saying
online where people agreed You.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
Want to think it's just Lisa Barlow, but then other
people think it could be Heather Gay, and then other
people think it could be a whole bunch of things.
But I'm just bringing that up because we're fully up
to speed on our county. And oh, Man speak about
Traders because she was on Traders.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
Yes, last season, the year season with Tamra. Judge was
on season season two. She's yeah, I don't know, Man,
talk about a leaker, because I mean we found out
at the end of we skipped out. I mean there's
a lot for us to talk about in our reality.
Dancing card is full, so we haven't really dipped in.

(20:24):
I think we were behind like four or five episodes on,
which is not like us at all because we love
that show.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
It's no disrespect on.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
No, it just got out of hand with the Special Forces.
And but let me tell you, grab it a real
television we were watching, not real television, real television, realgical television, theatrical. Yes,
because The Housewives is real. Listen, I'm afraid. I don't
know that she's going to come back. No, they can't

(20:51):
have her back if she's leaking, If she's leaking the
way she's allegedly leaking.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
I think I'm not accusing, although I'm just gonna say
based on the way they edited the show and they're
showing Tamra and then they're showing her speaking the girls
speaking to this blogger person.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
On the phone. They have her on the speakerphone.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
I feel, based on my instinct and understanding how the
business of TV and suing and all that stuff. When
you put together scenes like that and you showed it
on TV.

Speaker 2 (21:27):
After camera shutdown of shooting and they have to come
back and fill in something, it's not good.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
That's kind of a confirm And producers.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Would not put them those three girls sitting on the
couch on a speakerphone with somebody that we cannot see
saying and accusing what they're saying that that's big time.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
Yeah it is.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
And those ladies look so, I mean it was Shannon
and Gina and who else was on the couch with them?

Speaker 1 (21:52):
Emily, Yes, she was there at one point. The leaking
is no good.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Oh man, it's terrible, especially you Bet you're a veteran,
you've been doing this show so long. The idea that
you think you at this point can get away with
manufacturing storylines or getting people, it's crazy.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
And the fact that she was accusing Gretchen of being
this that in the third and sharing this that in
the third and then it turned out or.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
It's looking like she's she's the one.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
I mean, this makes reality Vontice from Sault Lake City,
the great reality that we have one of these an Apple.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
Speed that's not like serious and that's not like it's
the Amazons listening to I think she's listening to us
because you just got that little speaker right, But I
think it's connected to your phone. And that was serious
because she said try again.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
No, I'm not going to try again.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
Oh my gosh, this is that the ghost of I
don't like that Tamra Judge.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
That freaked me out.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
Based that was really weird. That's never happened anyway. Listen,
I'm really sad for Tamra. I mean, she's blamed a
lot of her behavior on Teddy. Thank goodness, Teddy is healed,
her Canter is gone, Teddy Maillion Camp and so a
lot of her stress and anxiety and anger and all
these issues she was going through a lot with one

(23:13):
of her best friends. I don't think it's an excuse
to set story lines up and go after Gretchen and
not by the way, you know, even if she set
it up, I know the person, the blogger that they
were talking to on the phone knew, but who else
in the cast knew. I mean they shit on Katie. Yes, right,
she turned on Katie. There was that whole thing. We
don't know if Katie's tells the truth or lies. I

(23:33):
mean it's getting confusing, right, I don't again. I'll say
this over and over again when our housewives start to
manufacture and this is gonna this is gonna bleed us
into Salt Lake City with the heather thing like ladies.
You know, I think that that fame gets to every
but and success gets to everyone. And I think they
feel the need to make these things laugh and get

(23:57):
the ratings up and be watched and relevant. But they
don't understand that their lives alone are interesting. That's why
we watch.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
Yes, but I think they want to try to add
stuff to it so you can keep away from who
you actually are. Lack of confidence that you are interesting enough. This, that,
and the third good point.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
They're writing their own script and that's not interesting. We
can see what's happening.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Transitioning to you mentioned Soul Lake City. But I have
to say, because you said special Forces Gia Judae.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
Oh man, how you are a badass.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
I don't know how special Forces is going to end,
but you have superseded all expectator. She's been fucking awesome
and in.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
Fact, Babe, I saw you know, I don't listen to
her podcast, but I saw on her TikToker maybe that
she's moving out. She's and I think Special Forces has
allowed her to find her own independence, her own strength.
Cut ties with her mother, who she loves more than
anything the world, but she needed to step out of her own.
She showed total perseverance and strength. The show is she's impressive, Yes,

(25:07):
for her mental ability, that she has a mental strength
and fortitude. Yeah, and I think it comes from her
mom because you can see that in Teresa, but also
what they've been through as a family. I'm so proud
of her. Yes, exit shout out to Gia.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
And and again I hate to kick a Special Force
in the butt, but that show, for some reason when
we're watching it, it's not that it's better, it just
provokes something in us. Also because we like Gia and
you get to know the cast, and really the cast
that's left are not even any of our favorites except
for Gia.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
Yeah, the guys really are the you know at this point,
like it's like, you know, you feel like the football
players are going to be the ones to win. But
there's just something about that show and these people being
thrown into these crazy.

Speaker 2 (25:54):
Crazy situations trying to in that one episode where they
were trying to catch the ball like playing football in
mud murder ball, that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
And the one model, what's the name Mark SD.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
Yeah, he's going to get cauliflower ear, I mean his
ear was he's a model and they were like, yeah,
he left the show because his ear is going to
be in trouble. So yeah, it's very dangerous. I shout
out to everybody who attempts that show. It's straight up,
it's really crazy.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
Who would you want to see from our Housewives world?
You know who I'd want to see it just because
it would be hilarious. Erica Jane, There's no way. We
we love Erica. By the way, Beverly Hills is coming back.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
I know the trailers for this look amazing. Oh my gosh,
I mean listen, this is going to be a ride. Yo,
It's going to be a ride.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
It's going to be great. I cannot wait. Beverly Hills
is It's a different level, different level. That's a very,
very very great show. I would love to see Dolores,
just because I would be on the floor laughing, and
because Dolores is so good. Dolores on Special Forces, Oh.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
She'd kill it, she'd be great. This is another one
with mental strength.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
I think it's a tough bad that is a tough woman. Yeah, people,
I don't know if she doesn't talk about it much,
but she's spoken about it. It's not like I'm sharing
something behind the scenes. Dolores worked in prison.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
Yeah, she's a prison guard.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
She was a fucking prison guard.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
She's she's no joke. I mean, I think she keeps
she shows side and she's chill, but she shows most
of her softer side. But I think she that's a
bad motherfucker right there. Old school. She really is. I
love her so much. I have so much respect for her.
But that being said, the show it is true when
we watch it, I don't know. It evokes, evokes, invokes

(27:42):
and evokes something in us, both of us at the
same time. It's wild, right, like we both have a
visceral response to it. Like I don't know, does make
this last episode, guys made us uncomfortable? Like you said,
I'm uncomfortable, Like it's because it's dangerous and you know, and.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
I because some of those stunts and the challenges. I mean,
also the thing that's been fun this year because I
dipped my toe in the Traders thing and we watched
the shows they've had couples on married couples.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
Oh yeah, And I said to you this time, there's
no way I would want to be on a show
like this with you.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
Oh no. But we The thing that we always ask
is can you do this? Big?

Speaker 2 (28:20):
I could probably do way more than you. I know,
I have a different mental game than you. I mean,
you know when they go back to the barracks and
they know that any second their name could get called
and they have to run out to one of the
staff and get taken away or do a task or whatever.
And these people are relaxing taking off your shoes. I mean,
where were we the other day? We were somewhere and

(28:40):
I looked over and you had your shoe off and
you were massaging your foot, and I was like, are
you with me in public? We were at we were
at the Striker Center at a very nice event, and
you took your shoe off and I was like, okay,
get comfortable and started massaging your foot. You're a nice
comfortable if you are in the barracks with me. We

(29:02):
were in a couple like the gymnasts and her football husband.
I forget their names, and she's so disciplined, and so
he's falling apart. Her husband is football player, and she's
pretty good. They're both doing great. But I'm saying he
would say she's the stronger, yes, and I would say,
I already know, because you can't sit. You can't go
see a Broadway play without being uncomfortable. The seats are

(29:25):
too small.

Speaker 1 (29:26):
But I couldn't do Special Forces, reminded me. I remember running.
I was asked to do the beginning of Special Forces.
This is when it first had come out. Somebody had
asked that was ran up the flag ball. There's absolutely
no fucking way. First of all, they're where they in Malaysia, Africa.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
Right now, they're in Morocco, Morocco.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
That plane flight, you know what kind of number that
would do on my body, my system. It would do
a number on me just getting to Morocco.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
I know, babe. So that's why I don't really I
don't particularly like the conversation of you going, could you
do that? I could do that when I know the
answer is no, just let me watch the show, because
you know you can't do half of the things. I'm
not saying that I could, but let me tell you something,
I would damn well try because I have that kind of.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
What about the fighting and the murder ball and like
the punching.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
Oh I have right now, I have so much rage
in me. I think I do just fine.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
But I don't know if you could apply that to
actual fighting.

Speaker 2 (30:21):
Yes, okay, yeah, I don't want to break my nose.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
That's like.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
I'm like, I'm on a face slip. I'm not gonna
I'm not going to get it because I'm fighting on
a reality show. Anyway. That being said, that is I
know we keep saying it, guys, get into it.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
Incredible and now we have so much to look forward to.
We got Beverly Hills with like on the horizon they're
coming back, of course, we got to December.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
December second. By the way, not to interrupt you, but
Van der Pump is coming, the new vander Pump. I've
seen the trailer and I think I sent it to
you and said, this is.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
It's tough using the brand.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
It's like a thirst trap. By the way, it's like
how sexy. Can we come in with it? How? It's
just it's a lot, it's too much.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
I saw those are big reality TV show shoes to fit.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
That's right, And I don't know that I you know,
we said this about The Valley and that turned out
to be a miraculous show that we really like. So
I don't know. We'll give it a chance. But it's
December second.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
But it gets tough though. It gets tough when it's
a new show and we have such high expectations. Plus
it gets into that Love Island thing because it's like
they're twenty four and it's like, do I do why
as much as we love reality TV, do why need
to watch twenty four years?

Speaker 2 (31:39):
I don't think we'll watch Violin it anymore, do you?

Speaker 1 (31:42):
I mean, we'll sniff around it.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
I don't know. We lost steam on it because it
got a little too much. The youthfulness of it and
the making out and sucking face of it all became
very frustrating for us.

Speaker 1 (31:52):
And it's amazing. It's amazing that the younger people who
seem to get so offended by a lot of things
are not offended by that meeting greets with tongues down your.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
Throat, cameras up your butt, like.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
That's your sexuality. Cool, but it's just and I know
that that's what they sign up for. I know it's
not the cast may We were.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
Just getting old. You know. It's like our parents are saying,
I don't listen to why do you listen to that
kind of music? Yeah, I don't know about that, but
we were, you know, not to just skip around. We
won't talk about it very much, but we were watching
Married at First Sight because it's on all the reunion
a season that oh the reason Union of Love is Blind.
I'm talking about Married at First.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
Married, but we got to talk about Love is Blind
because we really enjoyed the season. I gotta say. I
got to say, and I'm being a fan here. The
reunions are on Netflix. They need to step it up.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
I think they. I think they tried to step it
up this time, and I think they were doing too much. No,
the set was weird that they brought up on the
basketball player to shoot hoops.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
With the baron No. CP three. There's no there's no highlights.
They don't show clips.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
That's the problem when you do a reunion. I think
you have to go back and show clips as weeks ago. Yeah,
who can remember. I don't know why they don't show
the clips. They own the show. I don't know they
showed the clips on selling Sunset.

Speaker 1 (33:11):
It literally such a wamp.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
I'm very disappointed in the reunions because.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
I thought it was a good season in general, great season,
but the reunion sucked. Say that with all due respect
to Nick and his beautiful wife and the people in that.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
Yeah, because they do a great job at show hosting
the show. I think we're about to wrap it up,
but I want to say, I want to go get
some hot tea because I think last year, Yes, because
I we watched the marathon outside.

Speaker 1 (33:35):
It's been since the marathon, it's been.

Speaker 2 (33:36):
Yes, I started to feel weird. It was very cold
that day. We stood still.

Speaker 1 (33:40):
We watched the New York City marathon.

Speaker 2 (33:42):
It was amazing. At the end of our street on
First Avenue, Go goes by. I got you out there.
You're usually out of tow when it happens. I'm usually
this is my thing. It's very it's a very New
York moment for me. It's my favorite thing about living
in New York is watching that marathon. And we stood
out there and we stood still, like for two hours,
two and a half hours.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
We got there before we watched the run.

Speaker 2 (34:02):
Yeah, the wheelchairs, and then the professional runners came and
then at once.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
First it was the wheelchairs, which is so inspired, like
miles seventeen. Yes, and then the women came and they're
like running fucking.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
Full super fast.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
Yes. The leaders of the marathon, they're running.

Speaker 2 (34:20):
Runners are zooming, like.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
They're not jogging, they're running.

Speaker 2 (34:24):
It's amazing. And the new thing which you started doing,
which was so fun, is that people run with their
names on them. So we I think I lost my
voice or got a little chill on my neck and
a little sickness from yelling strangers Namesnie Go, jay Zy
like Steve, and they look over and they wave and
they hear you, and it's amazing. It's really a moment

(34:45):
of everyone coming together. It's such a beautiful thing. But
I think that's how. But the biggest spotting that we
saw Matt James from The Bachelor. Yo, he was on
his own. He was very early by the way.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
James was like was in the top fifty Oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:59):
Oh yeah, he was an athlete And you said you
called out his names.

Speaker 1 (35:02):
Oh no, he looked at me.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
He waved to us.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
I mean, if we had made more of a spectacle
because when you look at his highlight. Let me just wait,
I want to back up the fact that this dude
was number one running at the pace. He was running
at number two, smiling, number three. Like I said, he
was in probably at least the top seventy five men.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
Sure boy was not fucking the class babe. It was
early on and he was running literally by himself. That's
how I recognized him. He's coming down the street. You
see this beautiful tall black Ey's very tall, big and
jogging like he's not sweating. And ever if you go
on his Instagram, you could see clips of him like
stopping to have a bite the pizza and then he's
talking to this one. It was amazing. I got so excited.

Speaker 1 (35:44):
It was crazy. Yes, when we saw Matt James, we
were bugging because you didn't know, we didn't know who
was in it. Then there was the other dude from
the Batcheler, the handsome.

Speaker 2 (35:53):
Time h Tyler Tyler. Yeah, he was.

Speaker 1 (35:57):
He was strung.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
I saw him. His girlfriend was with him. They were
He was not running like Matt James. That Matt James
was skipping like he had air in his step and
he was unbothered. Okay, And then so the lady next
to us, one of our neighbors, was like, oh my gosh,
Carl Rodkey, he just ran by us.

Speaker 1 (36:14):
And that hurt.

Speaker 2 (36:15):
It hurt us.

Speaker 1 (36:16):
And I got to tell you that was probably for
the better because, Babe, if we had, we would.

Speaker 2 (36:23):
Have been we would have been crying.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
We wouldn't. We would have made fools of our totally
and scared the kids around us. Yes, if we had
seen Carl from summer House, shout out to Carl, shout
out to your new bar.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
We got to go to that soft bar, the bar,
his non alcoholic bar in Brooklyn.

Speaker 1 (36:38):
We would have made literal fools of ourselves.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
We saw him from behind.

Speaker 1 (36:43):
I didn't see ship. Oh you didn't because I was looking.
I was talking to somebody and they were like, you know,
just ran by.

Speaker 2 (36:48):
I was like, oh yeah, I caught him right from behind.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
I didn't see him. Yeah, I didn't spot him. And
it's probably for the better man because I would have
thrown him off his game. He would have been there.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
You jumped over the gate and ran after him.

Speaker 1 (37:01):
But it was cool.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
See that was really fun. But I think that's I'm
gonna go make myself some tea now.

Speaker 1 (37:06):
Anyway, tell a friend to tell a friend about rap
ap Portuality. Please subscribe, rate and review. It helps. I

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
