coming up at the end of the week. Remember no

Speaker 4 (00:56):
We'll hang out with you. I'll be working, you'll be
with your girls. Mike.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
I know that's what's going on, but so yeah, So
if you're alone on Thanksgiving, make us a part of
your Thanksgiving. That's all I can say.
Speaker 5 (01:05):
I'll be on Twitter. I have no doubt, cursing out
something that happened in the games or something that the
kids did to make fun of me while I watch
said games. You know we've got that going. And of
course I'll pop on Fox Sports Radio. I'm sure, yeah,
just for giggles, if nothing else, You and I me,
(01:25):
we'll get together and we'll have a little bit of
Thanksgiving together. Maybe we'll lead pie while on air together.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
How about that sounds delicious? These Thanksgiving Day matchups delicious
as well division rivals in all three I do I
will say this, I do long for the Thanksgiving days
of the AFC NFC matchup. I know that those have
gone by the wayside as the TV networks have now
kind of meshed, But it was always great trying to
(01:54):
guess what was the Thanksgiving matchup gonna be because you
knew the Lions were gonna have to play an AFC
squad and that that you know that would be their
year to be on CBS.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
And the same thing with the Cowboys.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
But this year, all NFC, all division, we start with
Packers Lions. What do you expect at Ford Field in
game one of this Thanksgiving Day tripleheader?
Speaker 5 (02:16):
Well, I gotta be honest, I'm hoping for a lot
of points here, right. I mean, even though the Packers
are a top twelve defense, ponder that for a second, right,
I mean, they're actually top ten in terms of scoring defense,
giving up just twenty point two points per game. If
you've watched them play Dan, and you watch them a lot,
(02:37):
see how much? How much do you think that really
jibs with what you've watched this team do on a
week to week base?
Speaker 4 (02:45):
It does not make a lot of sense.
Speaker 5 (02:47):
Right, I mean, like I see that stat and it
just it's glaring to me, like Ben don't break because
it seems like they're on the field a lot. But
here we go an opportunity unity. You know, for Jared Goff,
we always know that in general, in general, he's gonna
play better at home. Remember, it could have been much
worse if Jalen Johnson could actually freaking catch. Hey, what
(03:12):
a new contract? Pay me like the top quarterback? Catch
the damn ball? Maybe I will touchdown next played Detroit
come back complete. So we look at the Lions with
Montgomery and Gibbs must plays most definitely, I'm on ross.
Aint Brown is unstoppable. We look at when we look
(03:33):
at Jared Goff. I think he's a high end number two.
I'm not gonna push him, even though it's a home
game and they're gonna be juiced and all the crowd
whatever else. Still familiarity and the aforementioned you know packers.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
Yeah, And I'll also just quick chime in, Mike no
buys in week twelve.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
I think this is important for people to remember.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
So we've got all thirty two quarterbacks available, so it's
not like it's a thirteen game week in Jared go
sitting there as a QB two.
Speaker 5 (04:02):
Yeah, and there's a lot well, I mean, let's face it,
it's assessbool there too. Just the quarterback position where we're
at in twenty twenty three, and I celebrate them all.
You're professional athletes, but let's face it, someone's got to
be ranked thirty second and there are plenty vying for
the bottom of the barrel. On the other side, we
talked about Jordan Love a little bit as we got
(04:23):
into it the last podcast. Dan and the opportunity here
with Reed and with Dobbs and with Watson, You've got
some plays. AJ Dillon. I think it goes into a
mid RB two. I can't push him any higher because
the futility of the run game to this point, but
based on sheer volume offers you an opportunity here to
(04:47):
make a play or to I think this is one
of the more fascinating games of the week because maybe
there'll be a little bit of an overvaluation based on
Jordan Love's statline against the Chargers, because remember it is
the Chargers. Yeah, but but it's a short week, and
maybe the opportunity to just get a little creative in
(05:09):
the playbook to try to stretch the field and make
some plays. So I'm curious. I'm pretty excited to see
this one to get our Thanksgiving Day going.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
Are you playing this?
Speaker 3 (05:23):
Sound like a Looney Tunes character Elva Fudd kid, get
it out? I mean, Jamir Gibbs and David Montgomery are automatic.
Speaker 5 (05:30):
Plays one hundred percent week in week out. You know
this past week it was. It's really just a difficult
thing for the ranking side of it. Which one do
you like more in a particular matchup, and how you're
expecting that. But like if you did the old I'm
handcuffing them together and you could have done it right.
Gibbs went pretty early in most drafts and for the
(05:54):
most part, it's paid off, maybe not on a weekly basis,
but on a cumulative effect. And when you look at
what Montgomery he's been when he's healthy, I mean, that
could be your starting backfield and you feel pretty good
about it.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
Yeah, I find it. I think it's great as well.
It seems like they're rooting for each other.
Speaker 5 (06:11):
And the fact that Montgomery gave up a touchdown.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
Yeah, and again like against the Bears, Like I was like,
this is automatic. They're definitely going to give David Montgomery
his touchdown and then Gibbs scored the first one.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
I'm like, wait, what the heck's going on?
Speaker 3 (06:27):
Then they're doing the Spider Man thing with each other,
you know, of who's scoring tds. Montgomery ended up getting his.
But it's yeah, it seems like it's a real healthy
situation in that lines.
Speaker 5 (06:38):
Backfield, feel good moments and like, you know, you're gonna
get your touches and share it a little bit of
the glory when things are good, have at it right,
And that game wasn't good for them for the most part,
but they chip away and they know the Bears are
eventually going to be the Bears.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Yeah, And the Bears held the ball for quite a
bit of.
Speaker 5 (06:59):
Time minutes, I think just over forty minutes. Dan, Yeah,
so in an historic loss in so many ways.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
And I know, like the Sam Laporta train, there's a
lot of hype, a lot of heat on him. Just
five targets the last two weeks. I think that can
churn up a little bit at some point. You're a rookie.
Not that he's hit a rookie Wall I don't think
that that's the case. It's just you're gonna have ebbs
and flows. He could also be due for something against
Green Bay. So some fun to start it off. Now,
(07:30):
I've got some real fun with the Commanders and Cowboys
in Game two, Dallas coming off their thirty three point
performance against the Panthers while the Commander's coming off of
their six turnover performance against the New York Giants. I
do think Washington plays better on Thursday, though. I think
for them, Mike, it is so key that they have
a short week, or it's so important because you can
(07:52):
try to throw away that game. There's probably not a
lot to play for for them after the deals they made,
but still this is an opportunity where we've got a
decent over under and maybe those commander's weapons. Can you know,
have some fun against Dallas on Thanksgiving Day?
Speaker 5 (08:10):
Forty eight and a half is your total for this one.
Dan Ron Rivera also a guy like I almost included
him in a super cut of all the coaches and
some of the inane, angry things they had to say.
Made Rivera knows I got seven games left, let me alone.
And so people calling for the enemy don't see it.
(08:32):
Don't see them necessarily running him out Rivera these final
seven games. But Sam Howell has acquitted himself nicely as
a fan asy quarterback. Remember Ron Rivera, boy, if I
knew what I had, I would have played him before.
And he gave the ball away a couple of times,
some inexplicable, but you know, he keeps gunning. It's one
of the things I love about CJ. Stroud, the thing
(08:54):
I love about Sam. I'm going down swinging, all right.
This is what I bring to the to the table.
And now it's a question of can you maximize you know,
these players and opportunities face of a fierce pass rush.
We'll see how quickly you know. Micah Parsons was saying
he was ill and whatever else off of some supplement. Uh,
(09:14):
So we'll see how he responds. But you know, Brian
Robinson with twenty four touches this last game, one hundred
and thirty yards a total offense, got to feel pretty
good about that. Rodriguez Junior got into the game and
made some big plays for them in the they lost third,
They gave up thirty one points to the Giants, So
I can't dismiss that, Dan, It's in my head.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
Hey, some of it was defensive, you know, the last
on the score defensively, So.
Speaker 5 (09:40):
Yeah, Still, you get to thirty one and it makes
devitoed I like it. It's a it's a verb. It's
kind of like, uh, you know, Chargers fans got Johnston
with Quentin Johnston and his drop.
Speaker 4 (09:55):
But the veto just sounds better.
Speaker 5 (09:57):
No, especially since last week was the of any ninth
birthday of the beloved Danny DeVito, who's back on Broadway.
How about that? Not too well, all the while selling
you sandwiches, So it's good for everybody. Logan Thomas remains
a back end tight end one. Is it stellar? Is
it glorious? Number? No? But if I can get forty
(10:17):
four for forty every week, out of my tight end
in twenty twenty three. I'll take my eight points and
I'll move on and I'll try to maximize somewhere else
at this point, So opportunity there, Terry mcglaur and I
would expect a better game shut down this last week.
A lot of smack talking going down. I know we
talked about the Dallas side of it, you know, Dak
Prescott another smash opportunity, the word we love so much, ceede, Lamb,
(10:42):
keep an eye on the ankle, but set it and
forget it between him. Let's get Brandon Cooks and Tony
Pollard back up. And even our guy Ferguson has to
be on your radar this week.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
Yeah, yeah, Skillmaker is more of the red zone. There's
not a lot of value there, but yeah, I'll all
your cowboys, He's aid Ferguson, Yeah, Lamb, Yeah, light them up. Pollard, Yes,
even Tony Pollard, who did get in the end zones
we talked about on yesterday's episode.
Speaker 4 (11:11):
Yeah, that's I think it could be fun.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
I don't know how Thursday night's going to be fun
for me with my Seahawks going up against the forty
nine ers.
Speaker 5 (11:18):
You're really banged up right now, Dan, I think you
can give them a couple of reps.
Speaker 4 (11:22):
I hey, it may help considering too. I'm being too
harsh on them again.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
This is a team that you know, gave the forty
nine ers all they could handle in the first half
of the wild Card Round last year. Then they completely
got destroyed in the second half. I don't know if
that's how it's going to play out. Two weeks ago, Mike,
if you would have talked to me about this game,
I would have said, you know what, I think the
Seahawks have a chance to win it.
Speaker 4 (11:49):
Not that they're the better team. I just think they
would have a chance to win the game.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
Seeing how things played out now, you're likely down Kenneth
Walker the third by the way, he was losing snaps
to Charbonnage anyway. Sure, but it just chips at the
depth of the position. I think you could see even
some Kenny McIntosh, the rookie out of Georgia for the Seahawks,
coming up on Thursday night. But yeah, now Charbonne's in,
(12:12):
Jackson's been and Jigbas emerged. DK Metcalf finally got into
the end zone. But still, when we're talking about like
the fantasy games that you thought you would usually get
from Seahawks players, They're not there.
Speaker 4 (12:25):
Oh none, not at all like in there.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
I mean there were Tyler Lockett games, miike, where you'd
have one hundred and thirty and two touchdowns and those
days are not happening right now in Seattle.
Speaker 5 (12:35):
Yeah, A lot a lot of guys on Geno Smith,
and we'll keep an eye on his health of course
as well. But I guess I'll take a positive as
a guy who's got shares in DK metcalf in a
couple of leagues that at least the last couple of
weeks the target counts up.
Speaker 4 (12:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (12:52):
Right, you had the burial against Baltimore. That's one of
those old go burn the tape and move it am
a fifty yard reception, that's great. Only four targets in
that one in what was a I guess a laugher
for the Ravens, And I don't even want to think
about it. If I'm on your side, And as a
Bears fan, Dan, I've had a lot of those, so
(13:12):
I know how that goes. But seven for seven out
of twelve for ninety eight yards against Washington, five of
nine for ninety four in a score against the Rams.
At least we're back into opportunities which had gone to
the wayside for a while. Saved that Cleveland game where
the efficiency was just ridiculous. Five catches, fourteen targets, sixty
(13:35):
seven yards. But look, I'll take the opportunities. San Francisco,
you know, banged up in the secondary, right, you lose
a safety for the year. San Francisco a six and
a half point favorite, forty three the total. So not
expecting major fireworks here. So metcalf for me, probably back
in two high end three, with a little bit of
(13:57):
wishing and hoping. Maybe slightly higher, but not much. Smith
and Jigma only if I'm in a danger zone of injuries. Again,
as you mentioned, there's no bye weeks. Yeah, right, And
Gino he's mid QB two at best.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
With with the With the Niners, you're playing McCaffrey, you're
playing Auk, you're playing Kittle, you're playing Debo.
Speaker 5 (14:23):
Yeah, Deebo probably if I've got you know, that extra
flex or third wide receiver, he gets in. But you
got to be banking on a big hitter from him.
Speaker 4 (14:35):
Yeah, he's he's.
Speaker 5 (14:36):
A tough play right now. And then obviously everybody celebrates
all American rock. Party.
Speaker 4 (14:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
Yeah, I I like Samuel in this game, Okay, so
I play him, yeah, and party is uh gosh uh.
I've been waiting not for the bottom to fall out, Mike,
but I've had Brock Party on a bench as a backup,
and I'm just wondering, is that going to be the
(15:05):
week that he throws for one hundred and forty yards
and no touchdowns because they just score six touchdowns on
the ground, you know, Like like I think that the
game against earlier this season, and maybe it wasn't as
it wasn't as bad it was it was against the Rams. Yeah, yeah,
(15:26):
he had two hundred and six yards. Uh, you know,
really didn't do anything. He did have a touchdown rushing,
and I think the Cleveland game was obviously a rough game
that they had. But that's the thing about parties. I'm
just like, when is that game coming, just the one
where they're like, we don't need.
Speaker 4 (15:41):
You to do this stuff.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
I don't think it's going to be against Seattle, which
is why I do like the Samuel play. But yeah,
he's becoming like a I don't want to say a
must start, but he's becoming almost a must start.
Speaker 4 (15:54):
Since the last two weeks.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
Yeah, given the attrition at the position and the number
of guys on a week to week basis, I mean,
it's a damn roller coach to ride with some of
these quarterbacks. You know, his baseline has been pretty good, right,
with the exception of a Cleveland game, and as Mike
Tomlin so brilliantly didn't throw anybody under the bus saying, hey,
(16:17):
Cleveland'll do that to you, like you want to talk
about master classes in never let them see you sweat
behind the scenes. You may have broken everything in every
coach's office. Yeah, toilet paper their walls, duct tape them
to a chair. Nobody would be any of the wiser
while you're sitting there in front of the microphone. Whereas
(16:40):
you know, Brandon Staley, Ron Rivera, Robert Saw, all these
guys can't wait to get up there and try to
cast dispersions and tell you why it's not their fault.
That's great, Yeah, it's great. So in this case, you
with brock Purty steady as she goes right, And I
think when we're hitting this point in the season, if
(17:03):
you've got your other quarterback option as a guy that
maybe has been up and down. Say it's a Trevor Lawrence,
say it's you know, there's a number of guys that
you could just go, well, you know what, on a
week to week basis, I don't know what I'm getting.
At least this guy. The baseline has been pretty strong,
with the exception of that Cleveland game, which again they
should have wanted. The kicker hits it, it does his
damn job is base is other worst performance was that
(17:28):
aforementioned game against the Rams, where he scored nearly fifteen points.
Speaker 3 (17:32):
Yeah, I don't think there's I'm not worried about a
bad game. I'm just worried about a game where they
don't need him to do what he does. Sure, you
know that's That's what I'm worried about. And they're gonna
need him to do stuff over these next couple of weeks.
I think it happens against Seattle and then they've got
the Eagles coming up in week thirteen.
Speaker 5 (17:48):
And then Seattle again. Because you know how much I
love the NFL schedulers.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
Oh man, when you see some of these schedules and
you see, wait, didn't that team play that team this week?
And another plantem that week. You're gonna get a lot
of that over the next few weeks. All right, this
is I want your flex. He's Mike Carmon. I'm Dan Bayer.
Hit Mike up at Swollen Dome. You can find me
at dan Byer on Fox. We'll give you some streaming
defenses and some Survivor picks. That's coming up next here
(18:15):
again and I want your flex. All right, it's that
time of the week. Actually it's a day early. Ryan
Berschinger myself usually give you a streaming defense and Survivor
pick and our Thursday episodes. But again there is no
Thursday episode because of Thanksgiving, so we move stuff up
for this Wednesday episode.
Speaker 4 (18:34):
Week twelve in the NFL. No buys this week.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
There's no team on buy in Week twelve, the Thanksgiving
week the NFL Full Force.
Speaker 4 (18:41):
Of course, we've got the three.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Thanksgiving Day games at the Black Friday Game now, so
there are no buys to worry about. But there are
some intriguing matchups, Ryan Berschinger, there's some bad against bad.
I don't know if you're going to be fishing in
that pond when it comes to streaming defenses, but who
would you stream in Week twelve if you're looking for
a team.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
Yeah, there, there's definitely bad against bad and there are some,
I think some really strong options streaming wise. I mean,
we'll first touch on the bad against bad with the
Patriots and Giants. Yes, I know, Tommy DeVito did it
work against the Commander's defense, but you know what, that
might have been a product of the fact that the
Commander's defense is really just that bad. And and still
(19:24):
the Commander's defense gave me eleven points, so so it
was still a fine play. Sure, they they got to
Davito a whole bunch, so even with the points allowed there,
they still put up some fantasy numbers. But I mean, yeah,
you could, you could defensively play both sides of that matchup.
I would lean Patriots there. I think the strongest plays
this week. For one, the Saints were just on buy
(19:46):
and now they get the Falcons, so they were probably
dropped during the bye week, and that's a that's a
great matchup for that defense and a defense that has
been rather strong throughout the season. The Broncos, I think,
are in a great position because the Browns are definitely
going to be now a team that you're fading for
the rest of the season with assuming that dtr is
(20:09):
their quarterback moving forward, and the Broncos I don't know
if many people were holding on to them against the Vikings,
so they very well could be available. I really like
that matchup as as a defensive play.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
I they better be picked them now because these turnover
things and I know that they're they're you know, it's
going to correct themselves. But my goodness that they are
forcing turnovers is astronomical right now.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
Yeah, yeah, and they that is I mean they they
have improved on both sides of the ball steadily throughout
the season, So you can you can absolutely be playing
the Broncos defense now, and especially in a matchup like
this one. Just check to make sure that nobody dropped
the Chiefs because they were playing the Eagles. If the
Chiefs became available, jump all over that. They got the
(20:54):
Raiders this week and they are an excellent defense, so
there's a there's a strong play there. And yeah, if
you're if you're digging deep, you can you can go
either side of that Titans panther.
Speaker 4 (21:06):
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Definitely would lean Titans defense there. But I mean, again,
this is. This is one of those bad against bad
and you've got two rookie quarterbacks who Will Levis. I mean,
at some point we have to start talking about the
fact that after his first week as a starter, Will
Levis has really not been very good. So there will
(21:31):
be probably turnovers of plenty there. Of course, Bryce Young
just hasn't been very good. So yeah, I think there
are a lot of excellent options streaming. I would still
there's you know, there's still also great plays in general.
If you've got the Cowboys defense, you've you've got a
great play this week. If you've got if you've still
got the the Browns defense, I would still play them
(21:53):
against the Broncos, even though they are performing better all around.
The Dolphins coming off of the Raiders last week. Now
you've got the Jets and and Tim Boyle. So yeah,
definitely if the Dolphins are not available, to jump on that.
Oh and one other option also to mention is the Steelers,
because yeah, they just played the Browns and so they
were a great play once Deshaun Watson was ruled out,
(22:16):
and there are strong defense overall, and you have to
look at the fact that now the Bengals are going
to be rolling out, not Joe.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
Burrow every week.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
So yeah, the Bengals are turning into a team that
you can play a defense against, especially in this first
week of Brownings as a starter. So definitely the Steelers
are a strong play a lot of strong defensive plays
this week.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
Really, sometimes when Ryan is giving a streaming defense is
the world's blend with the Survivor pick, And it actually
didn't too much this week. Now, there are matchups here,
specifically on Thursday, that you can, I think feel comfortable
with Survivor. Wise, some go against my rule or my
(23:04):
rules of Survivor contest. Try to avoid divisional matchups, try
to avoid road teams if you can. And you've got
two divisional matchups. You've got the Commanders and Cowboys. You've
got the Niners and Seahawks. But again, you probably have
used the Niners already. And if you didn't use the
Cowboys last week against the Panthers, you probably used them
(23:25):
the week before against the New York Giants. So we're
taking them out of the picture. If you needed to
make a Survivor play and you have the lines available,
that would be your play on Thursday, Green Bay in
a short week, don't have a running back room. I
think the Lions escaping against the Bears will only prove
to sharpen their knives against the Packers on Thanksgiving Day.
(23:46):
So I like the Lions as a pick. If that
is an obvious pick that you have not used. Now
here's where we go digging. I am really, I really.
I almost put the Titans in as my pick, but
then I thought to myself, I don't think the Panthers
are going to just win one game this year. They're
(24:07):
going to win two. This could be an opportunity for
them to win, so I stayed away.
Speaker 4 (24:12):
From that one.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
I'll tell you a team that's available in my survivor pool.
That is crazy to think that they are.
Speaker 4 (24:19):
But the Eagles are actually available. Wow.
Speaker 3 (24:21):
And their matchup against the Bills I think does provide
does provide some opportunity because I just don't think Buffalo
is that great and it would be crazy to think
of this stretch. But now when you look at what
the Eagles actually have in terms of their schedule coming
off of this win against the Chiefs, They've got the
Niners in Week thirteen. You're not going to pick them
(24:43):
in that week. If they're still available, they have the
Cowboys in Dallas in Week fourteen. I don't think you
want to pick them in that situation, So this may
be the opportunity to do it. If you were looking
at Philadelphia, the final one and another scary one. And
it's why I'm also still kind of looking at the Titans.
Burst is much night. Bears and Vikings played a tight
game earlier this year. It's a division matchup, it's a
(25:05):
Monday night game, and I'm stillrooling from the Bears ruining
my Survivor pool last year by beating the Patriots in
New England.
Speaker 4 (25:12):
However, the Vikings do seem to hang their hat on
their defense.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
It seemed evident on Sunday night, and I think in
a home crowd, I don't know how the Bears can
maybe put together the sort of matchup or sort of
game plan that they had against the Lions and have
it travel over against the Vikings. The Vikings could be
an option. So I guess my three options right now.
I'm telling you the Titans, Eagles, and even though it's
a divisional matchup, Vikings on Monday Night against the Bears.
(25:38):
Those would be my picks for survivor and the Lions
on Thursday night. Those are your options. It's crazy because
now you're starting to run out of teams and you
got a lot of one point games. As you said,
Saints Falcons is kind of a coin flip. Desmond Ridders
back for Atlanta. How much do you want to put
your faith in Desmond ridder which you know, nobody's really
picking the Saints and the Falcons so far.
Speaker 4 (25:57):
So those would be my survivor picks for Week twelve.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
I like it.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
I like it.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
Hopefully we're seeing Justin Jefferson's return on that Monday night
against the Bears. I think that the Viking should pretty
pretty easily take that game, assuming that that that their
offense is back in full health. And yeah, I'm with
you about the Packers. That the Chargers did like everything
they could to allow the Packers to win that game,
and they still like barely won that game. There were
(26:25):
a drop away from losing that game. So yeah, no,
I think the Lions that are going to take care
of business pretty easily on Thanksgiving.
Speaker 4 (26:32):
Dolphins were probably used by people.
Speaker 3 (26:36):
I'll tell you one that I'd looked at as well
is Rams Cardinals, but Cooper cups health is one that
has me question, and I know we get hype over
Kyler Murray and what the Cardinals do. I just don't
know if they have enough guys even with Kyler Murray
on the field. So I tried to avoid that coin
flip as much as I can. Now, if you're getting
(26:58):
down into the final third of the season, you are
you're coin flips to me in these situations are only
out of pure necessity because now you're getting to the
point where maybe you could end up in some money.
Speaker 4 (27:10):
So that that's how I look at things.
Speaker 3 (27:12):
Maybe a few weeks ago, you're like, all right, well,
the best opportunity I'm gonna get for a you know,
a Panther's team to win is against the Texan, so
maybe roll the dice in. It ended up working out,
But now I try to stay away from it as much.
Speaker 4 (27:24):
As I can.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
I feel you, there's a lot of coin flips this week,
even especially out of divisionals like Bucks Colts like that
that could go either way. Uh, this is a yeah,
it's a really interesting week because you have I think,
pretty top heavy matchups and you've got some bad against
bad and then you've got like I don't I don't
like using the word mid, but it's truly is mid
(27:45):
versus mid in a lot of some of these games
as well. So, uh yeah, that's a very interesting Thanksgiving week.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
My survivor rules that they are like Steelers spangles could
have been an opportunity because, oh, as you said, backup
quarterback Jake Brownings now the starter in Cincinnati. But do
you really want to trust anything Kenny Pickett does? Yeah,
you don't know, you don't want to, And you're right
with Buccaneers Colts, like how I just I try to
fast forward in my mind as well as how is
(28:16):
this going to play out? And one of the teams
is going to be down by four and there's going
to be a minute forty one left in.
Speaker 4 (28:23):
The game and the team that's down by four.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
Is going to have the football, And so you're like,
all right, who do I trust Baker Mayfield or Gardner Minshew,
Colts defense or Bucks defense in those scenarios.
Speaker 4 (28:33):
I like Bucks defense maybe more than anything.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
But that's after a week where Brock Purdy had a
passer rating that was perfect and two weeks removed from CJ,
three weeks removed from CJ, Stroud absolutely carving them up.
So I don't even feel good about that. So yeah,
so I would just stay away and not want to
deal with it.
Speaker 4 (28:51):
All.
Speaker 3 (28:51):
