Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Insider's Guide to the Other Side, a production
of My Heart Radio. Hi, y'all, I'm Julie. Hi there,
I'm Brenda. Welcome to Insider's Guide to the Other Side. Now,
y'all need to know that we are obsessed with everything
on the other side. Yes, we are, because once you
(00:22):
learn to navigate the energetic, or to some the invisible world,
life is going to be more fun and much more serene. Heck,
yes it can, because let's be honest, Brian, earth school
is hard. In fact, you taught me that let's crush
Earth School together. Well, hello, my witchy pooh, what kind
(00:46):
of goddess are you? Nicely played my ouf. I thought
that was really good. That was like right in a
moment too. I wanted to do a good intro for you,
and it literally opened my mouth and that's what flew out.
It's my favorite, Me and me and Athena. Yea, the
(01:06):
goddess Athena is when we're talking about today. So hey,
then do us a favor, tell us a little bit
about Athena and then we'll get moving on this. But
I think it might be worth telling everybody who may
not be familiar with um. You know all the gods
and goddesses, just to give him a little something about Athena.
Athena is a Greek goddess. If you spend any time
(01:29):
in Greece, she's everywhere, like every flipping were right, because
um Athens is named for Athena, and so she's she's
just everywhere. And she is born um fully formed, right.
Born from her father is Zeus, and she is born
(01:52):
fully formed, and she embodies both the sacred masculine and
the sacred feminine. She ruled and over mathematics and law
and medicine and city planning, things that require lots of
brain power, logic, rational intellect, things that are associated with
(02:14):
the traditional male. She also rules over or created either
word works for these, the loom, which is weaving right,
being able to weave, and transverse, which is literally like shocked,
which is the Hindu goddess, right. The pulsation, the the
(02:36):
if you think about the particle in the wave, the
sacred feminine is considered the wave, the undulation, the one
that's always moving. And she rules over the flute, and
you know, things that are considered more creative and of
the heart, and things that are more traditionally feminine, and
(02:58):
so the the goddess Athena came to me in meditation,
and there are some traditional gods and goddesses that I've
worked with for literally decades at this point, and yeah,
you know, included her in my meditation and counted down
her strength and kind and then she revealed ways to
(03:18):
work together. And I saw it unfold then in my
work as I would be talking to both male and
female leaders and thinking, you know, how I approached them
and held the work um and thinking of the the
(03:40):
big corporations that they worked for as traditional male, and
the people sometimes would bring in more of the traditional female,
whether they were men or women of wanting to create
inside these very structured linear organizations. Does that make sense?
It makes total sense to me, because this is a
program that you've developed, that you teach from, this is
(04:04):
your right over years. Yes, So so at first, you know,
and you know I'm slow in this way, so that
I would I would watch it unfolding my conversations and
you know, over my working with clients over many contracts,
like you know, watching how each had to be cultivated
and honored and and sometimes healed, like as they worked
(04:27):
in these large organizations, and before I saw it actually
as a as a course, as a corporate course. Um.
And then eventually what happened is someone came to me
that that had worked with me and said, Hey, we
were having trouble retaining our like upper mid management. You
know that the layer that's getting ready to go to
(04:48):
the executive layer. We're having trouble retaining our female leaders
at this upper middle management level. Do you know of
anyone that could help? And I pretty much had a
had an executive women training already mapped out like I
had adapted it out because of this, because it really
seemed to me as though we have to bring this
(05:09):
athene power to these specifically to the women leaders, to
let them know that they can work in these very
traditional male organizations, male structured organizations and bring in all
their creativity without having to mimic the traditional male ways,
because it's it's not that they're not smart and they
couldn't do it and they can't code switch in that way,
(05:30):
but it's exhausting and that's and we wanted to make
sure that they were empowered to acknowledge it and honor
the system as they worked in it, but without having
to sacrifice their creativity and how they undulate and move
in women's traditional female leadership thinking is more circular and
connected instead of linear. If that makes sense. Oh doesn't
(05:52):
make sense. I've lived that world. Yeah, of course, it's
like where were you twenty five years ago? For a day?
It thinking about it? If you don't mind, can we
just maybe go back a step because you tend to
get your guidance from the other side and little, um more,
(06:17):
what what are word am I looking for? Um? Like?
For me? Subtle right? Right? But of course it's a
word I can't find because it's a word I didn't
use or understand. Subtlety, right, I mean I can spell
it me. I have to be hit upside the head,
you know, like my messages from the other side. I
have to be driving down the road and have a
voice of male voice and booming every time there's going
(06:39):
to be an accident. That's not what you experience, right exactly.
Just the other night I had I mean, God, somebody
was talking really loud and it was a spirit and
but that's how they get my attention. You don't have
to operate that way. Yours is more subtle. Yours is
a little bit more of a whisper, and mine is
a scream. But I want to bring that up because
(07:02):
I think through this process you've had a lot of
the subtle so called whispers that made big turns for
you and or allowed you to make the big turns
and the work that you were creating. And I wanted
to bring this up, this pace of it up, because
I really feel that any time that our listeners can
(07:24):
identify with one of us are somewhere in the middle,
because you and I are you know, we're Oscar and
Felix from the Odd Couple for those that remember or
from the Heat were Melissa and Sandy um and and
we operate world very differently, and we notice people identify
with us right based on kind of that archetype of
what we represent. But when it comes to listening, when
(07:45):
it comes to because you were creating, you know, and
with your creation, it can come to be clear. When
when I when I first noticed Athena, it wasn't like, oh,
we're going to create something together. I was just like homage,
you know, I pay honor, thank you for visiting me.
I wasn't I didn't invoke her. It's not that I couldn't, right,
(08:08):
I mean, I teach my students to do that all
the time. But like it was because that is my nature,
like to to to honor and and not demand anything
like okay, what are you showing up for? Like what
do you mean? Why are you taking our space? Are
but to let it unfold in an organic way, in
(08:28):
a way that's comfortable for me, And you know, I
believe that there is define and define an element to
the unfolding and I trust that completely. So I'm so
I'm patient in that way, and I'm happy to to
allow that we should all be more like you. No,
not necessarily, there's nothing wrong with either one of those words.
(08:51):
Is there is there much of a shadow to either
one of those because I don't think so. But they're
shadow and everything everything cast a shadow. But every light
has every life has a shadow. Um So, but just
I just wanted to clarify that because I think as
you kind of guide us through this, there are there
are the subtleties for you that happened. And I just
think it's important for people because if they get something subtle,
(09:14):
you know, the importance of it doesn't necessarily relate back
to how loud it came out. And I think that's
the important part. And the impact of it and the
magic of it and the the blessing of it is
not at all related to how dramatic it is, right,
it competes. It can be the smallest whisper, right, the
most subtle thing, and it's the most sacred, sacred thing,
(09:36):
you know. I would also say that my initial focus
on this, this connection with this extraordinary archetypeal being right,
this spirit of Athena created this corporate program that I've
offered for ten years, really called Athena in Action right
for those you know, upper management leadership women. And it's
(10:01):
a corporate program. And on the first day when when
I was delivering the program, and you know, I was
nervous and jacked up, like, oh my god, is this real?
Is this some real program? Is this gonna work? You know,
like I trust the program, I trust my inspiration. It's
you know, it's my own confidence. A little bit. I'm like,
oh God, I hope this works. Still human right in
(10:24):
my mind it works, well, we'll go to see And so,
you know, the very first day I'm watching it and
I put the women in a in basically a breakout
right and exercise. I'm like Okay, I think this is working.
I think this is good. And as I'm putting getting
ready to put them in the breakout, like okay, they're excited.
They seem like excited, engaged as the getting the breakout
and I hear there's more, and I'm like, yeah, of course,
(10:45):
you know, of course there's more. Right, the kickoff is
two days and we are two hours into a two
day kickoff, like and in the classes six months, you know, like,
I know there's a lot more, And they're like, no,
there's another program. I'm like, okay, well let me finish
the kickoff. Okay, you pipe down. I've got something. I've
got to focus on these things. Yeah, I think there
(11:06):
were forty five women in the first program. You pipe down,
Spirit Ghost. I've gotta hocus pocus there, you gotta focus.
I gotta hocus pocus focus. I did. I did so. Eventually,
what happened, um, and we should probably take a crap
on evolved? Okay, we'll take a break. We'll be back
(11:27):
back in just a minute. Focus and we are back
from our hocus focus focus break um for brand tell
us more. Yeah, so what happened after? You know? I
(11:47):
was like, okay, I really need to like focus on
this program and deliver it. And so I delivered it
knowing that I was energetically cooking what I called Athena
B for a while, like that's what I called it.
I didn't know that, and I was with you during
a lot of this. You were sending me copies of stuff. Remember, well,
I just held it energetically, right, It was just you know,
this this space I was holding so because I didn't
(12:10):
know what it was going to be, I just energetically
held a space for it to build in meditation and
to be for me to watch and be curious. At
the same time, I was traveling a lot to teach
different classes, and it was everything from teaching to row,
to teaching meditation, to delivering spirit messages, to teaching manifestation classes,
to teaching me central oils, to teaching some crystal classes.
Like I was traveling to teach all these things. And
(12:32):
then one day it kicked in and like people were
asking me, when when can you come back and teach this?
When can you come back and teach this? I'm like,
why am I not offering a longer program for people
to learn? You know what I considered a more magically
focused life, and so then it was given to me
as Athena's Magical Secrets. So this is the same, you know,
(12:55):
six month course of intensive connecting with this goddess in
the spiritual world right in the energetics, in attending to
deep meditation practice, some light movement or yoga practice, and
then activating all kinds of spiritual tools and creating a
sacred sisterhood. So that's why I got to Athena's Magical
(13:16):
So now you've been teaching athene As Magical Secrets for
how many years? Now it's been a minute um and
said that the things six years. I think that I
guess it has been yeah, and now you still have
the same group or you probably have some people in
(13:37):
and out kind of thing. And do you have new
ones that join in it's seven years. I do have
some people from the original class. So every year before
up until the pandemic, the invitation has gone out, you know,
in an open call. If you've studied with me before,
like if you've done taken one other class with me,
and then you can then you can at least know
(13:58):
my style of teaching and what it would be a
good match for you or not to commit to a
longer program because it is a it is a commitment.
And so since the pandemic, because my other work spiked
in such a big way and I didn't I knew
we wouldn't be able to meet in person. I kept
I just kept the invite to the same because the
(14:18):
classes opening retreat and a closing retreat and everything in between.
For the last seven years, monthly monthly group connections have
always been on Zoom right, so I've been teaching on
Zoom for a long time. So when I knew, when
I figured out that we're not gonna be able to
Actually it was funny because two years ago we had
our opening session and the next week the whole country
(14:41):
shut down, like the the New York and San Francisco
had shut down earlier, but we got a retreat in
and then everything shut down. I remember that it was
really yeah, it was really said. It was like threading
the needle, and we're like, yeah, we're gonna do it.
We're gonna do We're gonna roll the dice, We're gonna
do it. We had someone coming from l A someone
like people came in from all over and everyone was
(15:01):
safe and we were lucky and then with that group
stayed together for two years and we just recently did
our so two years we hadn't been together in person,
although we did all of our retreats online and it
was extraordinary. It was such an extraordinary opening. So I'm
hoping next year we will again open it up and
(15:22):
you know, be clear of such a question, son, Yes,
of course, a lot of questions actually, but I have
one in particular because of this season that we're in
right now or this chapter of our life. UM, a
lot going on obviously the world. Lot has gone on
(15:43):
in the world. Are you seeing by being in person
and you know this being your seventh year of teaching,
do you see how it has affected everyone and or
how did it did? Did this work help them get
through all of that? Were you able to are able
to identify that yet? I know you just had your
(16:04):
first one a few days ago. I'm just because I've
seen so much change in people, so much. Maybe that's
what I'm asking is, like, what are you saying? People
are weary? Right? There is a fatigue factor even with
all of you know from their words, like I use
(16:26):
my magical tools, I count on them, and I still
yearn for that connection, like people just wept with joy
at being together, of doing of being in the physical
same room to share these practices and there and you know,
we do mala's and mantras and mudras, and when we
(16:46):
do the the the chanting, you could there is a
unification of the voices and a multiplication of the voices.
I feel that it is so extraordinary. It is such
a blessing. And it's just such deep, deep joy of
being together, like literally just you could just sweep. It's
(17:08):
just it's just such a blessing. Um. And when we
were doing the and the yogurt, like we still do
it on zoom, but it's not the same as being
in the same room. And when we were doing it,
when after one of the I call my Athena's sisters, right,
one of the Athena's sisters said, did you see the
woman in white moving among us? And I said, well,
(17:29):
I saw her standing in front of you. Yeah, And
she said, do you know who that was? Like, yeah,
that was the goddess. That was the thing I was
just gonna it was Athena. It was totally a she
just oh my god, that's amazing. So moved. She's like
(17:50):
like when I said it. She could feel it, and
it was just it was I mean, like, those are
things that are the tangible things that happened when we're together.
I'm not saying that they didn't. There was. There's a
lot of magic you know in the zoom land too
that we could feel it, and the blessing and the
energetic downloads and the healing. Absolutely you can feel. Did
(18:12):
you just call it zoom Land? Yeah? I did. That
was amazing. I haven't hear anybody call it that. And
I love that. You know, we can feel it the
zoom Land. We can. You can like it's can obviously,
you know transfer it has no boundaries kind of thing.
But there is that magic of being together for sure,
(18:34):
and the tangible and and the giggles. Um, you know,
just as as we moved like from because we I
did this in the house right now. I may not always,
but when we moved from the living room into the
younger room and from the younger rom back to the
you know, the the family space and and the kitchen,
and um, we happened to be blessed enough that one
(18:54):
of our the sisters is a professional chef. So you
didn't feel me that we cared for in a very
deep way that's extraordinary, Like moving through the kitchen space
like it's all and to see the interactions and engagement
in the support among the sisterhood, like it's just such
a blessed space and it's a unique and and special
(19:18):
place where we know it doesn't matter what your challenges,
what your inter external conflicts are, you have a safe
space to land and that in itself is such an
amazing gift. Is there any tool I'm just really curious,
Are there any tools that people referred to, any patterns
(19:41):
that they referred to that we're really helpful for them
during you know, trying times that they haven't experienced before,
like a pandemic, right, Like, was there anything specific? And
I will say that I've recently gotten deeper into the
oils than I have ever been f y I UM,
and it has made a massive difference because it's what
(20:05):
I need right now. Yeah. So so I say that
as an example that are there are other things that
people brought up that were either surprising or patterned or something. Um,
there's a couple of things, um specifically during the pandemic
what I heard from Now, I don't get me wrong,
because there's also monthly calls that they do with me,
(20:27):
So we have the monthly group session and then the
monthly calls of me um but um. So I will
remind people specifically of tapping because when they do it,
they love it and it's really a helpful shift in reset.
And for some reason, that's a tool that falls off
their radar screen. And one of the sisters gave everyone,
you know, one of those thermal mugs and and you
(20:49):
know did I don't know how. She put some special
pen she wrote on it. Have you tapped today? Like
she gave him to all the Athenas sisters because she's like,
this is such a great tool, right, this is okay?
Is I can't lie there. I just have to say this.
It is so crazy that you just said tapping. Three
days ago. I started tapping on Suki literally started tapping
(21:10):
around her eyes on her note like I just started
very gently and she lets me do it. She doesn't
freak out about it. I can't believe you just said
tapping because I literally just started kind of doing that
with her. Yeah. Actually, for animals, if you do um
tellington touch is you can google it and it's on
YouTube and it's it's really helpful for telling to the
(21:33):
E L L I N G t O N tellington touch. Okay,
I have started doing it. I thought, you know, she's
been a little stressed, she's had a little guest, right stuff.
I just this one. He wouldn't better, you know, and yeah,
going back and forth, and I just started doing it
and ch actually let me, which is shocking. Um So
it's funny. I didn't want to make this about sucking.
(21:54):
I just think it's the fact that you said tapping,
and I'm like, well wait a second. Yeah, but instinctively
you knew she did something. Yeah, yeah, and specifically for her,
I'd look up rancoon circles to see, okay, yeah you can. Yeah, Okay,
we take a break, we'll be right back, and we're
(22:24):
back everybody. And I want to remind Brandon she said
a few things because I totally interrupted her with saying,
Suki is now getting happy, and I didn't want to
distract her on what the other things that you're finding
that are really helping people right now? So and then
you know this is specific to my to my group,
but it would be not exclusive, right. Um So, two
(22:47):
two things that come to mind specifically in this group
who you know, practice, they have lots of tools, very gifted,
dialed in um, you know, energetically sensitive, psyche conintuitive people. Anyhow,
they just got uses for sure. And I gifted them
the Mayoru Mala collection. And you could have been if
(23:12):
you could have been in the room when they pulled
them out of the pouches, They're like, what are these?
What do you? What is this? Is? How call? It's
like they could just in the whole room desponsed it was,
And then we did are chanting with those and not
for nothing. I just have to say that out of
everything that we carry, that anything Maru is you don't
(23:35):
have to try, because it is I think you call
it his unconditional love. It is one of the few
things that I found in the Crystal Kingdom. I think
Selenite operates without trying um and I think the Mayoru operates.
And when I say without trying, I mean you know
you're not invoking with a mantra of some sort. You're not.
(23:55):
You know, it's like it's it's no intention, it just works.
And I think the Avery does that. And I think
it's so tangible. It's so tangible you just put it on,
just put it on, right, I like, do whatever. I
shared the story with the guy I work with. I
I had gift him him one because of he helped
me and his back pain went away and he took
(24:16):
it off. Back pain came back, and I'm like, he
tried to make me explain it. I'm like, why you
don't need a why just wear and shut the hell up.
I guess I could be a little more sensitive, but
you know, it's just like, just shut up aware I
don't have an answer like I. And he needed to
do that to prove it to himself totally what it
was was about. But anyway, so your sisters like that
(24:39):
again because it's so tangible. Um, that's that's I think
it's helpful, particularly in these times where you know, we
are coming back out into the world and you know,
of course not with varying degrees as different cities are
going through different you know, masking not masking again. Um,
so that's a really powerful impactful one. The other one was,
(25:00):
and this was a couple of years ago that I
gave it to them. Um. I gifted them the Selenite swords,
and I hear from about them over and over again
about how useful they are, uh, and how they use
them particularly to help sleep, um, to help disengage from
(25:23):
you know, darkness and confusion and chaos in the world.
Like they really use it to to sever those those ties,
those things that you can pick up through the day
and just you know, swiping up and down. Um, that's
one thing. And then I would say, you know, every
day during our retreat, we literally smudge each other as
we walk into our sacred space. So like at the door,
(25:45):
take off your shoes, put down your stuff, and and
we smudge each other's like a loving welcome to to
leave behind the world and create this space for themselves.
And that you go into her classroom and she has
a big bucket and smudge and it's leave it all behind. Yeah. Um,
so I'm curious, like turmaline, Oh that's been gifted, Okay,
(26:08):
because it's funny. I saw my god daughter UM a
few weeks ago, and she was telling me a story
about when she had a nightmare and she woke up
and she grabbed two pieces of black turmline ran into
her mom's room and said, mom, I had a nightmare,
but I had my black turmoline in my hands, and
she was grasping it like for dear life. Yeah, it's funny. Yeah,
(26:30):
that's another one that works without intention. Yeah, that one's
just it just does his job. You don't have to
ask it. You know, it's perfect and sow. And then
I would also say every every year. I just I
was gonna say every year, Um, there's different oils that
I will give them. What was this year? Um, it'll
be at the fall reach. Okay, don't say okay, don't tell,
(26:53):
don't talk because I'm pretty sure your sister's listening, So
don't tell. But you can tell me later when we
I hit the off Buttonum, the stuff for him, and
then you can tell me. I will tell them. Um.
So so then does it does everybody seem, especially after
getting together, like like how what? What? What would you use? What?
(27:15):
What words would you use about how the room felt?
How how everybody felt everybody responded to being together again.
It's it's so m hard to articulate, but mostly I
would say landed in their bodies. Of course we would
(27:36):
use Christie Christensen's book Chakra Ritual. Yes, that is a
shameless plug for this amazing book. I'm sous it's just
it's extraordinary. Yeah, it's so it's totally accessible. It just
takes you through each chakra and tell some stories and
gives you practice and movement and mudas and matras and
(27:57):
reflections and so we there was the request. I gifted
them that book last year and they're like, can you
take us through that? I'm like, uh, yeah, I love
this book. And of course I wrote a little bit
about arrow and the chakras so that, you know, that
was fun for the book. Um So anyhow, so they
all landed in their bodies and felt good about that
because again, just that daily connection of breathing and moving
(28:20):
and being kind and making sacred space for yourself to
do that and not it's not a ninety minute of practice.
You're not you know, we're not doing inversions. Like it's
so gentle and accessible and it's really made a big difference.
But mostly I would say, just so supported and openhearted,
like then the heart connection just flowing and connecting with
(28:44):
each other and just uplifted by basking in love all weekend.
That's what it was. Apparently eating good food from a
chef that doesn't hurt, it's not her high five food.
That was yeah, straordinary. The whole thing I guess what
you're saying is find your tribe with But I think so,
(29:10):
I think it's more important than we actually give it
credit for it. I mean, the safety that happens when
you're held. You can figure out within yourself how to transform,
how to come back home, how to make yourself whole
and access your wisdom. Like that's what happens, and that
(29:32):
is truly magical. That's like a superpower we all have
given if we can take advantage of bringing all those
elements together, right, And so I think it's really more important,
and it's something that you can create for yourself. I
would really recommend to anybody who's interested, is um to
(29:54):
read a bit about Athena too, you know, because you
can also whether you want to read about Athena or
the I call him Chakras, you call them Chakras books,
but just because that's another way to bring that in,
you know, and then to find those two say hey,
I just heard about this book. Why don't you read this?
Or hey, I just had you know, the crazy Elf
(30:16):
and the Witchy Pooh talk about Athena. Let's talk. Let's
read a little bit and talk about it. You know,
it's just you don't. Not everybody has to have UM
an amazing program to follow, which it helps that they do.
And if you it's always fun, there's no doubt. But
I'm just you know, for those that you know, actually
Christie Christie has a whole program online about her book
(30:42):
like you can UM. You can sign up for her
program online that will take you through the system. It's
just we have a community that's already standing and they
asked me to do it. And you know, we include
other things that aren't in Christie's book, that is our
Athena traditions. But you know, it's all good. You can
you can make Christie's book your guide. Didn't make an
entire pathway for yourself. Run absolutely and again I'm going
(31:05):
to still correct people to Brenda hyphen Rose dot com
so they sign up UM for your meditations. I I
think we should end every show to remind people that
they should do that because it is utterly life changing.
UM utterly life changing, because there is no voice in
this world I would rather hear than yours. I love,
(31:27):
and I just really recommend because I know people are struggling.
I know it's also scary to go into the world
right now, even though you might be able to, it
still could be scary. And I don't even just mean
from COVID, you know, I it is. It's the world.
It's like how people are behaving or you know, the
fear that we have, or the not even knowing someone
(31:48):
like we thought we did. The there's also exciting pieces
of it, which is to reconnect and to hug someone
again and to all those things. Right, Um, that it's
worth do what all these rings and so it's it's
worth kind of re checking in finding a way to
land into your body, whether it's again a program, whether
(32:08):
it's a meditation, whether um you know, listen, I've been
I've been doing so much oil work, whether it's um
stress away or joy, those have been the ones I've
been working with lately. UM Valor would be good. I'm
telling you just because say Valori, to just line it
all up, get back in your body, because everything that
hits the nervous system can take us out exactly right,
(32:30):
exactly right. So whatever you can do to find that
for yourself, UM, that space, that thing that and also
the key is to try to have a I think
big enough toolbox to know that it doesn't always have
to be just one thing. One thing is great, it's
better than zero things, right, But but to know that,
(32:51):
it's like, because I have a toolbox, I know you
do too. I have a toolbox, and I'll go and
I'll kind of in my head when I say toolbox
is not a literal toolbox. Actually, actually that's a lot.
I have a little tool box. But let's put that aside.
Is that, um I'll go through and be like, oh,
I need this or I haven't done this in a while,
And it really helps to know. It's kind of like
(33:13):
being able, um to It's like being able to go
in the kitchen and know that you can cook using
your chef's reference, knowing that I can make ten different
things and not just one. That's the idea. You know,
two people start creating that toolbox for themselves and different things.
You will need different tools at different times. Like sometimes
(33:36):
that used to work for me and now it doesn't.
It's okay because you're a different frequency now, Like it's
it's not like you failed or's something, it's it's a
different you're in a different frequency or different different phrase
phase and different environment. Like don't be afraid to expand
your toolbox. Oh, yeah. I And now let's say, well,
why one last thing on this again? Because I have
stories and I tend to share anything, So have no shame.
(33:57):
I had a really bad day last week. There was
a day and there it was a bad, bad, bad,
bad bad day. And I mean there wasn't enough essential
oils secure that. But you know what I did as
I went in and I went to go take a shower,
and I just sat in the shower, sat down and
had the water flowing over me. And I'm not kidding
(34:17):
until that hot water ran out and I got out
and I felt like a new person. So what And
that's in my toolbox. It's not fancy, it's shower, but
it's moving water which hits the emotional field, so you're
moving things through you. It's perfect. That's exactly what I did.
(34:38):
And I watched it. And what I did do is
it wasn't totally passive. I watched to go down the drain.
I needed to go down that damn drain, keep going
sending down your grounding corn. Right, that's the kind of person.
I got it out. And please tell everybody is Athena
is a Theena Magical Secrets or was it Athena and action.
(35:00):
When you shared, um, the story of when I used
to teach at USC and I would say, funk those fuckers.
I'm in charge both yea. I honestly show that story. Yes,
all your elf wanted to know. So I'm so happy
(35:21):
that you shared this, Brenda, I I love to hear.
For one, is like to know that I think a
toolbox is really important. There are things that we can
do to also to reconnect with people, to take care
of ourselves, you know. And also to know that you
learned you learned about needing to do this from the
(35:42):
other side, right at least the magical series from there.
I'm sure all of it, but the Magical secrets, and
you paid attention to that. There's so many great lessons
from you in this story, and I hope that everybody
picked those up if you didn't real listen, because they're
all there for you. UM. And I love that big
because it gives me inspiration. Um. It's a motivation of like,
(36:05):
let me go dust off some of these tools. Let
me go, like think about all of what you talked
about in the joy of of being together and everybody
just wanting to weep is the most beautiful sentence you
could have ever spoken, because that is what, truly, that
being alive is about. So exciting, so exciting. But thank you,
(36:27):
Thank you for asking myself because you know, sometimes I
don't say anything till someone else. I know it's your
rule too though, this is how you are. It's it's
just your rules in life. But I love to ask,
and I love and I love that you told this
story because I m I by the way, I feel amazing.
Thank you. I hope everybody else feels the same way
I'm I feel lighter I do. It is the power
(36:50):
of Athena. I mean, I'm telling you, she comes comes
through and absolutely so to all you goddesses and God's
out there. Um, dust off your toolbox, go be with people,
land in your body and rock the funk on. Thanks
(37:10):
