every just so y'all know, I do a countdown and
this time I was very serious and I close wise
because I was trying to come up with a rhyme
and I couldn't come up with the rhyme for she
pooh and rakey, Just so you know. I mean, it
was kind of a task. I don't think I could
have accomplished, but I gave it a shot. In the
countdown and I'm very quiet and I'm boom in my

in the world. Welcome to today's conversation, Witchy Poo something

about racky. I don't know. I was right, So today
we're talking about Ricky boom. There it is. Okay, So
even though I can't rhyme it, somebody come up with
the bus to rhyme somebody and send it to us.
How do you get witchy Pooh and something racky in there?
I'm gonna raky you. I love my Witchy Pooh. I'm

going to rakey you. That sounds really aggressive, but I
like it. You would never do that racky, but I
know you, but I really like it. So I love
this topic because I know so little about it. Um,
So you're gonna hear a lot from Brenda. Well, because
I want to learn too, and so sometimes the best
way for me to learn is to have a podcast. Um.

So raiky has been Um I've had a few experiences
with it. So do you mind if I just share
a couple of experiences and then you explain away to
us what the hell it is? And I think in
teaching and everything, so here I'll start so um many
years ago. Um. When we lived in l A, the
(02:38):
Crystal Matrix, Patricia I used to have a room that
she would rent out to healers. She had a pretty
big she has pretty big space, so she had rent
it out and so I actually had a raiky session
with this very lovely man and I was absolutely blown away. Um.
(02:59):
And this was around the time I was doing my
trans crystal therapy classes, so I always wanted to learn
it because I was so in awe of what was happening.
But um, my shoulders, the back of my shoulders were
like a board was hammered, like I couldn't move my shoulders,
like there's so much stuff right and just that, yeah,
(03:22):
you name it. I think I was carrying it right.
And also I think there's grief that was in there.
There's just everything. Wasn't the way of the world, literally
the way to the world. And um, so I see
this guy and I'm of course thinking, uh, you know,
I sure would love a good massage, but again, never
had experience king before. The man did not touch me,
(03:45):
but he moved. I felt it leave through the top
of my head. I felt him moving it, moving it,
moving it, and I felt it leave, and I if
I was in an adult I would have shipped my
pants out of shock that that was possible. I couldn't believe.
(04:07):
I literally could not believe. I'm like, how this is magic?
How did he do this? Right? So then I started,
you know, reading and researching and looking at the symbols
and whatnot. So then you fast forward. So that might
have been yeah, probably ten so years ago. So fast
forward to like seven years later, eight years later, it's
time to do um the exorcism in Kansas City. You know,
(04:33):
we have that the two episodes. I think we should
one and two and and one of the things when
the tools that I used when I was in the
space was a raiky symbol that Patricia taught me. M
hm and that symbol and she had me draw it
with my finger over and over all over the house.
(04:54):
And the power of that symbol, and I felt things dissipate,
like clearing the way I mean it was, so, I
don't know why the hell I haven't taken the class yet. UM,
I'm embarrassed now by expressing my love and potentially shipping
my pants and how amazing it love? Um, y'all know

that Brenda's the eloquent one, not the help. Um, I
just like expressed myself differently. Um, So I would love
because I think you're I mean, I know you teach it,
but I think you're teaching it soon. And I just
think it would be great to have a conversation whatever
(05:39):
you're willing to share more about raiky other than my stories.
Otherwise this could be the shortest episode ever. So thanks
for listening everybody. By all, school is hard if you
only have five minutes. Um, now, I mean that's are great.
Those are great, um examples of raki um. And So
(06:01):
I am a Ricky master and teacher. So I've done,
you know, all the trainings and there's so braky is
a Japanese word that means like a ray of light
or a ray of energy. When I did translate it
that I'm already I'm in awe keep going. So the
(06:27):
thing about Ricky is that we are all hard wired
for it, Like we're all hard right wired to run
this universal energy force. But you need initiation to turn
the circuit try on right. So you can. Sure, you
can get online and see symbols and things like that,
but really to to have it be activated within you,
(06:49):
you need to get initiated and the series of there's
a series of initiations that will help you move, you know,
turn on the circuit, try to give you access and
let the energy flow through you. It's like a cult.
I'm just going to say out loud. I know it's
a little culty. It's a little CULTI this is a
good cult, I think. But it's the initiative because of course,
(07:10):
what I think about being initiated was like when my
brother had been initiated to the fraternity, and I'm pretty
sure they like taped them to the flagpole is underwear
or some ship like that. I don't think that's what
you do and wiki the manual, but I'm gonna look
at you definitely, and I'm definitely in I'm not I'm
joining a lot of things where I'm totally joining that now.
(07:30):
And I will say, you know, even when you're doing
the initiation, we asked the initiative initiates, the uh you know,
to close their eyes during the procedure of the process,
right the initiation, because it's an energetic upgrade to the
system right where we're turning on the circuit tree. And
it's not because you can't see it. It's because when
(07:54):
your eyes are open, the energy flows differently, like it
literally will flow through you and out through the eyes. Right,
So you close the eyes to contain the circuit tree,
to let it, to let it be, you know, absorbed
and connected deeply within to the highest degree available. Right.
So it's not about the secret tree. Right. So so,
(08:15):
but when you have a question, I might be jumping ahead.
So when you actually are, when you're practicing, when your
practitioner raky, do you close your eyes while you're actually
doing the work? No, that's not required, although many people
do just because because when you think of it. Oftentimes,
even when people will ask, you know, a question like
(08:36):
what do you what do you feel about that? A
lot of times you'll close your eyes to just stop
the distraction of whatever is in front of your eyes,
to drop in, like to drop in within yourself, within
your own guidance. Sometimes you're dropping it literally into the
solar plexus. It says, how do I feel about this?
Does this feel safe? Does this not feel safe? Is
this on is it off target? Is on target? Like,
you know, it's easier to focus on how we feel.
(08:58):
So if we're following this ray of light, this ray
of healing energy, when we're following that through someone's body.
When we're looking for those connections and feeling into it,
it's easier to do that with your eyes closed. So
that's why I would say many practitioners do close their
eyes during the practice. However, if you are new to
(09:19):
doing a hands on healing practice, which some of my
students are, Um, you would I actually encourage them to
keep their eyes open because they can you know, we
have specific hand positions that are were invited to use
as we're learning how to work with this energy, this
new energy flowing through us. If they're not paying attention,
(09:39):
they will literally like their hands will slide off the position,
you know, into the person's body in a different way
because they're like so at one and so in this
zen mode and you're like, hey, eyes opened, eyes open. Well,
you know I've always said for the last decade, I
see better with my eyes closed. Oh yeah, that's yeah,
(10:00):
yeah for sure. Right. But again, when you're not used
to having your hands on someone's body, you want to
be very mindful about where your hands are. That indeed
could be true. Yeah, that's really so. Um, Can I
suggest we take a quick break, because let's come back
and talk about mm, well the real light more so

We're back with Ray of Light Raiki, which I'm so excited.
I know that. I can't believe I've never looked it up,
shocking because me and cousin Google are real close. Um.
So I'm curious, Brent, I've never asked you this, Why
(10:47):
why did you get into raiky? What drew you to it?
M m um? So, I think I think I have
mentioned here before that when I, you know, I was
I was a reader at this point, I was doing
you know, my terror readings up in Mount Adams and
then you know, from the house and then um and
(11:10):
studying at Camp Chesterfield. And then we had this really
talented medium who would do blindfolded messages, right, Reverend Wynt,
and he would, you know, so he's blindfolded and he
pulled your your name out of a basket and then
get the frequency from the name and then give you
a message. And so he's like so he literally would
he would say, you know, Brenda, because my name's on
(11:31):
the ticket, right and he's blindfolded, He's got this piece
of paper. He's like, Brenda, you know I want to
talk to you about being a healer. And I thought, well,
maybe there's another Brenda in the in the room, and
right like literally like I don't know, you know, I
don't know everybody. You me. It's like, oh no, no,
it's not me. I'm like no, no, I'm a reader
and I'm not a healer. He's like, you're not listening
to me. I'm telling you you're a healer. Yeah, I
(11:58):
think so. God he be great at a party. Yeah,
he's a total party trick in about Oh my god.
So so I was like, oh, that's interesting. I'm a
healer and uh you know. So it was um so
inspired in that way. And so it's like I was
told like, go go be a healer. So um so.
(12:19):
And that's how I got. I studied it. And then
someone that I went to for cranial signal work he said, hey,
I want to I want to study raiky and I've
got this teacher, but he needs two people in the
class while you do it. I'm like sure, you know,
so it'll it all lined up together like some like
maybe three weeks later, when I saw her form my appointment,
she's like, yeah, so we used to call him no
(12:40):
baggage Bruce. He was my Ricky Master because he's like
super no baggage Bruce because he's total chill. He's just
totally chill at all times. Nothing nothing flipped him out.
The guy's always in the zone, like no baggage Bruce Man.
He's just like and just masterful and kind and so
so gentle, so sweet. And so he put us through
(13:03):
all four So there's Ky one, two, three, and then
teacher level, and so he put us through all those sessions,
all those weekend sessions, and it was really it was
just really fun. Um. I didn't realize, you know, I
thought it was going to be, as Reverend White said,
you know, I was going to be a hands on
healer and in addition to my financial analyst job at
(13:24):
the time. Sounds because I go hand in hand, you know.
But but yeah, but I didn't realize all the ways
that using reigy energy in the world just helps everything
be better. Like it just keeps energy flowing, It keeps
(13:46):
things running a clean It's like a little way to
you know, dust up your field in a heartbeat. If
you can move conflict with it, you get like just
in conversation, you're like, oh, we can change that, we
can shift that. This is no problem. You know, you're
just say, Um. The important thing to remember about reiky.
One of the key things that I think is so
(14:07):
powerful about it is that it is a poll system.
So I can send reiky, but it's almost like the
healing energy will go to a satellite, and like a
healing satellite, like if I'm going to send reky to
you my own I put it in like you know,
I'm sending this to my health and when your energy
(14:29):
field is ready to pull it in, it will. Until
then this energy flow is neutral and building right, So
it's it's never like you would never slime someone with it,
like it has an intelligence of its own that's extraordinary powerful,
um and and impactful. And so all you have to
(14:51):
do is just ask someone, just ask in the world, hey,
have you ever had a Reiky session? Or do you
know anything about reiky? And people will always tell like
this really crazy story, you know, so weird this happened
of one story I heard was from a doctor and
he told me somehow and came, I have no idea
how it came up in conversation, um, but he said,
you know, I was at this conference where someone fell
(15:15):
off the stage and broke his leg, and I was like, okay,
where's this going. Like this guy I was talking to
us on an osteopath, right, he was not that kind
of doctor, but he um, I don't remember what kind
of doctor he was, but it was it was just
for fun. Let's say it was a dentist. Yeah, let's
just say it was right something. But he would even
(15:37):
even he would have more more training on the bones.
It was more like a doctor or something like that,
you know. And so he um, he said, there was
a group of nuns at this conference wherever he was,
and they all had raggy training and they came forward
like they all like they all just descended on this
(15:58):
man who fell off stage age and did Reggie on
him and he was without any pain at all. Wow,
until they could you get an ambulance there and and
take care of him. But it was it was really
an extraordinary story, especially for someone like this medically trained
(16:19):
person who lives so in the scientific world. He's like,
it was the most extraordinary thing I've ever seen. And
he never forgot it, Like he's like, this happened ten
years ago, and it still just boggles my mind. So Wow.
But it was such an affirmation of the beauty of
this power, um, this powerful healing force that can be present.
(16:40):
So wow, yeah, it's great. Wait so wait, wait, wait wait,
let me back up a second. You're certified as a
regy master. M hm okay, what do you teach him again?
Actually I'm teaching in January. Um, but it's too soon.
(17:01):
Well it's a private Oh I wasn't invited. I see now. No,
it's someone who's it's a group that's pooked me at
an advance. Oh and I wasn't invited. What it like?
Harp on that for a minute. So they were privately
pulled that the elf should be invited. That's fantastic. I
love this so much. I so now can you talk
(17:23):
about the symbols at all, like the history of them
or well what I did. What I would talk about
is that, um, you know, the first the first level
of raiki is you learn how your energy is opening up,
the channels in your body are are getting used to
running this healing energy, this this ray of universal light
(17:45):
and healing energy, and you know to use it every day.
So they would want you know, you would be invited
to do a self healing practice every day, even if
it's just for five minutes, just to get you know,
acclimate your body and be drinking lots of war water
during this forty day practice, like because your your body
is literally light filling with light, and so you want
(18:05):
to make sure that's comfortable for you, and so you
accommodate that, UM. And so just getting used to it,
and like you can send reiky Like a lot of
times I will use reiky on the plants in the house,
on the specifically on the water that I'm using to
water the plants, right, so like just like you know,
let this go deep into the plant, let it nourish it,
let it thrive, you know, things like that. So just
(18:28):
using it through the day, you can raky your water.
You always, you know, the blessing over the food I
use is a Reiky symbol. Um. You know. It's very
simple ways to integrate into the world. Yeah. Now, so
when I was hanging out at the Crystal Matrix with
all the healers and all the practitioners of the different modalities, UM,
(18:49):
because I was part of the trans Crystal Therapy Club,
and then there was like the Raiky kids. You know,
he's like in a playground cool, the best playground ever,
by the way. Um and and I remember asking questions
and um and and I'm like, well, how do you
(19:11):
actually do the symbols? You just imagine the symbols, like
do you draw them in your head? And I was
asking all these questions and one guy was like, oh,
I use my tongue and on the roof of his
mouth he would do reiky symbols. Does that sound like
something you were trying to do. I've never brought that
up before. I mean, if I was having dental surgery, maybe,
but well he would work on somebody and he would
(19:33):
do I don't know if that was I don't I
don't know why you wouldn't just draw him. Usually you
would draw them with a specific meridian point in your hand.
You would joy okay, yeah, but there are times where
you it would be inappropriate to do that in a
public setting where you might want to be offering reicky symbols,
So you can you can just do yeah. So but
(19:56):
you know, you could just imagine them from your heart,
sending them out things like there's a lot in this
way to offer, right, yeah? Are they connecting to the runestones? No,
those are different symbols altogether different systems. Yeah. Um, so
you don't really learn the symbols in the first session
again because the body is adjusting to running the energy.
(20:16):
So in Ricky, level two is where you learn the symbols,
right and so um so at that level you get
to see the symbols and practice them and you know,
put put that next level into your body. And it's
at Ricky is at the second level where you learn
to send energy at a distance. The spiral with a
(20:40):
little tail on it. That's one I was told to
use in the uh and yeah, and I imagine, um
what um I imagining that session you were being shadowed
by your teacher, so when you use them, she was
behind you activating. So that's that's what that always felt
(21:05):
like to me. But it is very powerful, um. And
so you would you would learn when and how to
use these symbols because they're they're just you know, not
symbols that you just throw out there and you they're
used to be used very specifically. I just started a
certain point for the certain purpose, like it was very
it was prescribed. It's very specific. M hm. That's so interesting.
(21:31):
And then at the third level, um, you you just
there's another elevation in the level of practice, and then
there's the Master level, which means you are now initiated
to create other Reky workers. Wow. Okay, we're gonna take
another quick break. But before we go, I want to
ask everybody that if you've had reiky experiences, why don't
(21:53):
you just shoot them over to us and tell us

I gotta, I gotta work on my rhyme seper, I gotta,
I gotta bust a rhyme with better than this. But again,
this uh, this universal symbol, uh, this universal healing modality
that I think that I didn't talk about. But one
reason why it was really important to me is um
at this time, my brother was sick and I and
(22:34):
I want to be able to have ways to connect
and do what I could to help create his comfort
and ease. So that was another reason why it was
really hot on, you know, getting my my different certifications
very quickly. Yeah. I love that. I gotta do what
I can, you know, all I know exactly. Yeah, and
so this it's a wonderful thing to have in your
(22:55):
life in so many different ways, to say nothing of
just you know, going through life, you have booboos, right,
twist your ankle, all kinds of things. I mean, I've
told stories. How do you know whether it was the
guy in the bar in your book or I was
going to ask you if you used reiky on him,
because I never asked you, because I remember you when
(23:17):
you were doing put it place in your hands, and
you would just expressed it to me that you were
trying to get his liver running going. And I didn't
know what you were doing to do that, as that
was some like little witchy woo thing it was, but
it was a reiky that you did, and I think
for those that Um, in fact, that's so weird. I'm
so glad you brought that up, because ever since the
beginning of this conversation, I've been thinking about that night.
(23:39):
So just to quickly remind everybody, it was right like
the night before, two nights before Halloween, Brennan, I happened
to be in New York City at the same time. Um,
you did a group reading. It was a magical as hell,
and we went to grow grab and we went to
go grab a bite afterwards, and there's only kind of
one place, and we're going into this restaurant. We sit down.
(24:02):
I hear a guy go thud on a bar stool
behind me. I turned my head and I look back
and Brenda's gone. I mean, it's like it's like you
hopped on your broom and you just flew off. And
Brenda is working on this guy and she's just moving
her hands around, and she has people come and ask
her for help, all like can they help her? There
(24:23):
was like a young woman who was like at a
in a doctorate program to get her right to get
her m D. I think, um, And then she was
a medical student. And then there was all these people
looking around and it was the craziest thing because all
I could think of is like we all watched e
Er and when somebody falls, you see like all these
people they come with knives and bandages and all this
(24:46):
ship to fix somebody. And here's Brenda just waving her
hands over this guy. I mean, it was really kind
of awesome looking at it. Immortal. It was not dramatic
at all. No, no, not at all. Um. And and
you start working on him, and I knew you were
doing your wi woo stuff, and so I was trying
to like I tried to keep his friend at bay eventually,
(25:06):
but um, and then when the friend his friend was
a mess as his friend he was had barely vertical himself. UM,
and you kept him going like you saved his life
effectively and you would never admit it, but you did.
And Um, the girl's next to us don't care about that.
The girl's next to us cared about the hot fireman
(25:28):
that came in, um to take him out, to take
him out. And all I want to do is defend
is like, hey, my witch ain't bad looking. You keep
be excited that she's down there crazy ask people. Um.
But that was like a life changing exactly. But that
was the life chap, Like I've had a lot of
life changing that what being able to witness something like
(25:51):
that was one of the most magical nights of my
life and oh my god, hands down it was um.
And to see you do that and to be of
service so quickly, like you're your own kind of paramedic.
You're like a spiritual paramedic or something I don't know.
And so it's funny you brought it up because I
in my head the whole time you've been talking, I'm like,
(26:12):
I wonder if she did that that night when she
saved that guy's life and you did so. Yeah, Um,
it comes in handy, right, it comes in real handy.
It's very handy. Uh. Yeah. So I will say UM
to all my fellow newbies out there, is that if
(26:33):
you haven't experienced reiki, UM, it's open to you to
try to let someone work on you. To find a
specialist to wherever you may live. UM, reiky reiky masters
are everywhere. It's I think, and it's I want more.
It's a beautiful thing. And do you know, I would
say to experience of reiky healing, healing, experience of reiky,
(26:58):
you don't have to be working with the master. When
someone has first level initiation, it's flowing. Maybe totally fair,
totally fair. So find somebody who practices about that UM
and and ask around, ask around, because you'll you'll find
someone that's good. Yes, you absolutely will, because people do
not hold back when it comes to UM. Different healers
(27:20):
that they've encountered UM and see how it feels to
you and if it's something you really connect with UM,
then it's worth, you know, maybe exploring it for yourself. Um,
I need to get off my ass and I need to,
but I need to. I haven't practiced. I haven't offered
a public reggy class for a while. So I will
(27:40):
put that on the schedule maybe this summer. Summer is good.
Summer is good, Summer's good. I just spent a month there.
We can just do one, three and four. I forgot
to apparently a parent lamb skipping too. And I'm just kidding.
I'm totally joking. It took me. It took me a
year and a half to get through transgrustal arapy so
(28:01):
um and it and it was important to take the time.
So I totally understand it's not required to take that
kind of time, for for king, But I mean I
took I took a grid level of four four levels
in transwhistle therapy. Yeah, and and and there are four
levels to the master level of reiky as well. But
it didn't Actually, it may have taken a year and
a half. I took a group of like forty people
(28:24):
in New York through it, and it was so much fun.
Oh my god, we would just giggle. We would just
get because we you know, we break for lunch and
everyone go out and I would give them a raanky
assignment to do during lunch and what they would come back,
Oh my god, I got a cab. I got a
cab in the rain because of the reiky and like
and like four of the groups came back with that.
It was just k yeah, it's so real. It's so real.
(28:48):
Like you just just they just they just tickled me
so much. So I'm gonna ask you it's it's just okay.
I was just gonna say one thing. I mean, I
would really consider receiving reiky is is a gift in
its delight and um creates such ease in your body,
you will have your own personal transformation for sure. Deciding
to be a ricky person, a ricky practitioner, even if
(29:12):
you don't open a healing session like you can still
work on your kids and your family and loved ones,
is an energetic upgrade. That is, it's a gift to
you and everyone around you. So I love that because
it is. It so is. It's it's a lovely, lovely
gift to the planet. So my favor is when you
(29:34):
teach in January, this private LF fighted Club, my anti
l Freaky Session, you Freaky Session, yeah, noted. Um. UM
My My favorite I ask is if there are stories
that come up UM that people you don't have to
use their names obviously, but jot them down because I
(29:56):
think we'd all love to hear you know, in the moment,
so does week when these things are happening, if you
would share it with us, because UM, I think it
is it's um what We'm I looking for. UM, it
is it is something I think we all, like you said,
it's in all of us that we all strive to
(30:16):
have that light, right we all in. So the more
stories and especially from you, I think UM is magical
and so it's just reminding us about more magic in
the world. So if you don't mind, that is my
one asking. If it is magic, I think it's. I
love that and I love that you're teaching and you
(30:37):
share these stories. And I didn't know why you got
into raiky and you know, of course it was your brother.
Why wouldn't it be him? You know? Yeah, I know,
And I love that. UM. So I've been very moved.

What is wrong with us? I was? I was doing
every just so y'all know, I do a countdown and
this time I was very serious and I close wise
because I was trying to come up with a rhyme
and I couldn't come up with the rhyme for she
pooh and rakey, Just so you know. I mean, it
was kind of a task. I don't think I could
have accomplished, but I gave it a shot. In the
countdown and I'm very quiet and I'm boom in my

fingers three to one and Britta's laughing. Because I'm so
serious about it. So, hello, my witchy treo, serious topics
in the world. Welcome to today's conversation, Witchy Poo something
(01:29):
about racky. I don't know. I was right, So today
we're talking about Ricky boom. There it is. Okay, So
even though I can't rhyme it, somebody come up with
the bus to rhyme somebody and send it to us.
How do you get witchy Pooh and something racky in there?
I'm gonna raky you. I love my Witchy Pooh. I'm
(01:53):
going to rakey you. That sounds really aggressive, but I
like it. You would never do that racky, but I
know you, but I really like it. So I love
this topic because I know so little about it. Um,
So you're gonna hear a lot from Brenda. Well, because
I want to learn too, and so sometimes the best
way for me to learn is to have a podcast. Um.
(02:16):
So raiky has been Um I've had a few experiences
with it. So do you mind if I just share
a couple of experiences and then you explain away to
us what the hell it is? And I think in
teaching and everything, so here I'll start so um many
years ago. Um. When we lived in l A, the
(02:38):
Crystal Matrix, Patricia I used to have a room that
she would rent out to healers. She had a pretty
big she has pretty big space, so she had rent
it out and so I actually had a raiky session
with this very lovely man and I was absolutely blown away. Um.
(02:59):
And this was around the time I was doing my
trans crystal therapy classes, so I always wanted to learn
it because I was so in awe of what was happening.
But um, my shoulders, the back of my shoulders were
like a board was hammered, like I couldn't move my shoulders,
like there's so much stuff right and just that, yeah,
(03:22):
you name it. I think I was carrying it right.
And also I think there's grief that was in there.
There's just everything. Wasn't the way of the world, literally
the way to the world. And um, so I see
this guy and I'm of course thinking, uh, you know,
I sure would love a good massage, but again, never
had experience king before. The man did not touch me,
(03:45):
but he moved. I felt it leave through the top
of my head. I felt him moving it, moving it,
moving it, and I felt it leave, and I if
I was in an adult I would have shipped my
pants out of shock that that was possible. I couldn't believe.
(04:07):
I literally could not believe. I'm like, how this is magic?
How did he do this? Right? So then I started,
you know, reading and researching and looking at the symbols
and whatnot. So then you fast forward. So that might
have been yeah, probably ten so years ago. So fast
forward to like seven years later, eight years later, it's
time to do um the exorcism in Kansas City. You know,
(04:33):
we have that the two episodes. I think we should
one and two and and one of the things when
the tools that I used when I was in the
space was a raiky symbol that Patricia taught me. M
hm and that symbol and she had me draw it
with my finger over and over all over the house.
(04:54):
And the power of that symbol, and I felt things dissipate,
like clearing the way I mean it was, so, I
don't know why the hell I haven't taken the class yet. UM,
I'm embarrassed now by expressing my love and potentially shipping
my pants and how amazing it love? Um, y'all know
(05:17):
that Brenda's the eloquent one, not the help. Um, I
just like expressed myself differently. Um, So I would love
because I think you're I mean, I know you teach it,
but I think you're teaching it soon. And I just
think it would be great to have a conversation whatever
(05:39):
you're willing to share more about raiky other than my stories.
Otherwise this could be the shortest episode ever. So thanks
for listening everybody. By all, school is hard if you
only have five minutes. Um, now, I mean that's are great.
Those are great, um examples of raki um. And So
(06:01):
I am a Ricky master and teacher. So I've done,
you know, all the trainings and there's so braky is
a Japanese word that means like a ray of light
or a ray of energy. When I did translate it
that I'm already I'm in awe keep going. So the
(06:27):
thing about Ricky is that we are all hard wired
for it, Like we're all hard right wired to run
this universal energy force. But you need initiation to turn
the circuit try on right. So you can. Sure, you
can get online and see symbols and things like that,
but really to to have it be activated within you,
(06:49):
you need to get initiated and the series of there's
a series of initiations that will help you move, you know,
turn on the circuit, try to give you access and
let the energy flow through you. It's like a cult.
I'm just going to say out loud. I know it's
a little culty. It's a little CULTI this is a
good cult, I think. But it's the initiative because of course,
(07:10):
what I think about being initiated was like when my
brother had been initiated to the fraternity, and I'm pretty
sure they like taped them to the flagpole is underwear
or some ship like that. I don't think that's what
you do and wiki the manual, but I'm gonna look
at you definitely, and I'm definitely in I'm not I'm
joining a lot of things where I'm totally joining that now.
(07:30):
And I will say, you know, even when you're doing
the initiation, we asked the initiative initiates, the uh you know,
to close their eyes during the procedure of the process,
right the initiation, because it's an energetic upgrade to the
system right where we're turning on the circuit tree. And
it's not because you can't see it. It's because when
(07:54):
your eyes are open, the energy flows differently, like it
literally will flow through you and out through the eyes. Right,
So you close the eyes to contain the circuit tree,
to let it, to let it be, you know, absorbed
and connected deeply within to the highest degree available. Right.
So it's not about the secret tree. Right. So so,
(08:15):
but when you have a question, I might be jumping ahead.
So when you actually are, when you're practicing, when your
practitioner raky, do you close your eyes while you're actually
doing the work? No, that's not required, although many people
do just because because when you think of it. Oftentimes,
even when people will ask, you know, a question like
(08:36):
what do you what do you feel about that? A
lot of times you'll close your eyes to just stop
the distraction of whatever is in front of your eyes,
to drop in, like to drop in within yourself, within
your own guidance. Sometimes you're dropping it literally into the
solar plexus. It says, how do I feel about this?
Does this feel safe? Does this not feel safe? Is
this on is it off target? Is on target? Like,
you know, it's easier to focus on how we feel.
(08:58):
So if we're following this ray of light, this ray
of healing energy, when we're following that through someone's body.
When we're looking for those connections and feeling into it,
it's easier to do that with your eyes closed. So
that's why I would say many practitioners do close their
eyes during the practice. However, if you are new to
(09:19):
doing a hands on healing practice, which some of my
students are, Um, you would I actually encourage them to
keep their eyes open because they can you know, we
have specific hand positions that are were invited to use
as we're learning how to work with this energy, this
new energy flowing through us. If they're not paying attention,
(09:39):
they will literally like their hands will slide off the position,
you know, into the person's body in a different way
because they're like so at one and so in this
zen mode and you're like, hey, eyes opened, eyes open. Well,
you know I've always said for the last decade, I
see better with my eyes closed. Oh yeah, that's yeah,
(10:00):
yeah for sure. Right. But again, when you're not used
to having your hands on someone's body, you want to
be very mindful about where your hands are. That indeed
could be true. Yeah, that's really so. Um, Can I
suggest we take a quick break, because let's come back
and talk about mm, well the real light more so
(10:22):

We're back with Ray of Light Raiki, which I'm so excited.
I know that. I can't believe I've never looked it up,
shocking because me and cousin Google are real close. Um.
So I'm curious, Brent, I've never asked you this, Why
(10:47):
why did you get into raiky? What drew you to it?
M m um? So, I think I think I have
mentioned here before that when I, you know, I was
I was a reader at this point, I was doing
you know, my terror readings up in Mount Adams and
then you know, from the house and then um and
(11:10):
studying at Camp Chesterfield. And then we had this really
talented medium who would do blindfolded messages, right, Reverend Wynt,
and he would, you know, so he's blindfolded and he
pulled your your name out of a basket and then
get the frequency from the name and then give you
a message. And so he's like so he literally would
he would say, you know, Brenda, because my name's on
(11:31):
the ticket, right and he's blindfolded, He's got this piece
of paper. He's like, Brenda, you know I want to
talk to you about being a healer. And I thought, well,
maybe there's another Brenda in the in the room, and
right like literally like I don't know, you know, I
don't know everybody. You me. It's like, oh no, no,
it's not me. I'm like no, no, I'm a reader
and I'm not a healer. He's like, you're not listening
to me. I'm telling you you're a healer. Yeah, I
(11:58):
think so. God he be great at a party. Yeah,
he's a total party trick in about Oh my god.
So so I was like, oh, that's interesting. I'm a
healer and uh you know. So it was um so
inspired in that way. And so it's like I was
told like, go go be a healer. So um so.
(12:19):
And that's how I got. I studied it. And then
someone that I went to for cranial signal work he said, hey,
I want to I want to study raiky and I've
got this teacher, but he needs two people in the
class while you do it. I'm like sure, you know,
so it'll it all lined up together like some like
maybe three weeks later, when I saw her form my appointment,
she's like, yeah, so we used to call him no
(12:40):
baggage Bruce. He was my Ricky Master because he's like
super no baggage Bruce because he's total chill. He's just
totally chill at all times. Nothing nothing flipped him out.
The guy's always in the zone, like no baggage Bruce Man.
He's just like and just masterful and kind and so
so gentle, so sweet. And so he put us through
(13:03):
all four So there's Ky one, two, three, and then
teacher level, and so he put us through all those sessions,
all those weekend sessions, and it was really it was
just really fun. Um. I didn't realize, you know, I
thought it was going to be, as Reverend White said,
you know, I was going to be a hands on
healer and in addition to my financial analyst job at
(13:24):
the time. Sounds because I go hand in hand, you know.
But but yeah, but I didn't realize all the ways
that using reigy energy in the world just helps everything
be better. Like it just keeps energy flowing, It keeps
(13:46):
things running a clean It's like a little way to
you know, dust up your field in a heartbeat. If
you can move conflict with it, you get like just
in conversation, you're like, oh, we can change that, we
can shift that. This is no problem. You know, you're
just say, Um. The important thing to remember about reiky.
One of the key things that I think is so
(14:07):
powerful about it is that it is a poll system.
So I can send reiky, but it's almost like the
healing energy will go to a satellite, and like a
healing satellite, like if I'm going to send reky to
you my own I put it in like you know,
I'm sending this to my health and when your energy
(14:29):
field is ready to pull it in, it will. Until
then this energy flow is neutral and building right, So
it's it's never like you would never slime someone with it,
like it has an intelligence of its own that's extraordinary powerful,
um and and impactful. And so all you have to
(14:51):
do is just ask someone, just ask in the world, hey,
have you ever had a Reiky session? Or do you
know anything about reiky? And people will always tell like
this really crazy story, you know, so weird this happened
of one story I heard was from a doctor and
he told me somehow and came, I have no idea
how it came up in conversation, um, but he said,
you know, I was at this conference where someone fell
(15:15):
off the stage and broke his leg, and I was like, okay,
where's this going. Like this guy I was talking to
us on an osteopath, right, he was not that kind
of doctor, but he um, I don't remember what kind
of doctor he was, but it was it was just
for fun. Let's say it was a dentist. Yeah, let's
just say it was right something. But he would even
(15:37):
even he would have more more training on the bones.
It was more like a doctor or something like that,
you know. And so he um, he said, there was
a group of nuns at this conference wherever he was,
and they all had raggy training and they came forward
like they all like they all just descended on this
(15:58):
man who fell off stage age and did Reggie on
him and he was without any pain at all. Wow,
until they could you get an ambulance there and and
take care of him. But it was it was really
an extraordinary story, especially for someone like this medically trained
(16:19):
person who lives so in the scientific world. He's like,
it was the most extraordinary thing I've ever seen. And
he never forgot it, Like he's like, this happened ten
years ago, and it still just boggles my mind. So Wow.
But it was such an affirmation of the beauty of
this power, um, this powerful healing force that can be present.
(16:40):
So wow, yeah, it's great. Wait so wait, wait, wait wait,
let me back up a second. You're certified as a
regy master. M hm okay, what do you teach him again?
Actually I'm teaching in January. Um, but it's too soon.
(17:01):
Well it's a private Oh I wasn't invited. I see now. No,
it's someone who's it's a group that's pooked me at
an advance. Oh and I wasn't invited. What it like?
Harp on that for a minute. So they were privately
pulled that the elf should be invited. That's fantastic. I
love this so much. I so now can you talk
(17:23):
about the symbols at all, like the history of them
or well what I did. What I would talk about
is that, um, you know, the first the first level
of raiki is you learn how your energy is opening up,
the channels in your body are are getting used to
running this healing energy, this this ray of universal light
(17:45):
and healing energy, and you know to use it every day.
So they would want you know, you would be invited
to do a self healing practice every day, even if
it's just for five minutes, just to get you know,
acclimate your body and be drinking lots of war water
during this forty day practice, like because your your body
is literally light filling with light, and so you want
(18:05):
to make sure that's comfortable for you, and so you
accommodate that, UM. And so just getting used to it,
and like you can send reiky Like a lot of
times I will use reiky on the plants in the house,
on the specifically on the water that I'm using to
water the plants, right, so like just like you know,
let this go deep into the plant, let it nourish it,
let it thrive, you know, things like that. So just
(18:28):
using it through the day, you can raky your water.
You always, you know, the blessing over the food I
use is a Reiky symbol. Um. You know. It's very
simple ways to integrate into the world. Yeah. Now, so
when I was hanging out at the Crystal Matrix with
all the healers and all the practitioners of the different modalities, UM,
(18:49):
because I was part of the trans Crystal Therapy Club,
and then there was like the Raiky kids. You know,
he's like in a playground cool, the best playground ever,
by the way. Um and and I remember asking questions
and um and and I'm like, well, how do you
(19:11):
actually do the symbols? You just imagine the symbols, like
do you draw them in your head? And I was
asking all these questions and one guy was like, oh,
I use my tongue and on the roof of his
mouth he would do reiky symbols. Does that sound like
something you were trying to do. I've never brought that
up before. I mean, if I was having dental surgery, maybe,
but well he would work on somebody and he would
(19:33):
do I don't know if that was I don't I
don't know why you wouldn't just draw him. Usually you
would draw them with a specific meridian point in your hand.
You would joy okay, yeah, but there are times where
you it would be inappropriate to do that in a
public setting where you might want to be offering reicky symbols,
So you can you can just do yeah. So but
(19:56):
you know, you could just imagine them from your heart,
sending them out things like there's a lot in this
way to offer, right, yeah? Are they connecting to the runestones? No,
those are different symbols altogether different systems. Yeah. Um, so
you don't really learn the symbols in the first session
again because the body is adjusting to running the energy.
(20:16):
So in Ricky, level two is where you learn the symbols,
right and so um so at that level you get
to see the symbols and practice them and you know,
put put that next level into your body. And it's
at Ricky is at the second level where you learn
to send energy at a distance. The spiral with a
(20:40):
little tail on it. That's one I was told to
use in the uh and yeah, and I imagine, um
what um I imagining that session you were being shadowed
by your teacher, so when you use them, she was
behind you activating. So that's that's what that always felt
(21:05):
like to me. But it is very powerful, um. And
so you would you would learn when and how to
use these symbols because they're they're just you know, not
symbols that you just throw out there and you they're
used to be used very specifically. I just started a
certain point for the certain purpose, like it was very
it was prescribed. It's very specific. M hm. That's so interesting.
(21:31):
And then at the third level, um, you you just
there's another elevation in the level of practice, and then
there's the Master level, which means you are now initiated
to create other Reky workers. Wow. Okay, we're gonna take
another quick break. But before we go, I want to
ask everybody that if you've had reiky experiences, why don't
(21:53):
you just shoot them over to us and tell us
about it. I love to hear what people have experienced.

I gotta, I gotta work on my rhyme seper, I gotta,
I gotta bust a rhyme with better than this. But again,
this uh, this universal symbol, uh, this universal healing modality
that I think that I didn't talk about. But one
reason why it was really important to me is um
at this time, my brother was sick and I and
(22:34):
I want to be able to have ways to connect
and do what I could to help create his comfort
and ease. So that was another reason why it was
really hot on, you know, getting my my different certifications
very quickly. Yeah. I love that. I gotta do what
I can, you know, all I know exactly. Yeah, and
so this it's a wonderful thing to have in your
(22:55):
life in so many different ways, to say nothing of
just you know, going through life, you have booboos, right,
twist your ankle, all kinds of things. I mean, I've
told stories. How do you know whether it was the
guy in the bar in your book or I was
going to ask you if you used reiky on him,
because I never asked you, because I remember you when
(23:17):
you were doing put it place in your hands, and
you would just expressed it to me that you were
trying to get his liver running going. And I didn't
know what you were doing to do that, as that
was some like little witchy woo thing it was, but
it was a reiky that you did, and I think
for those that Um, in fact, that's so weird. I'm
so glad you brought that up, because ever since the
beginning of this conversation, I've been thinking about that night.
(23:39):
So just to quickly remind everybody, it was right like
the night before, two nights before Halloween, Brennan, I happened
to be in New York City at the same time. Um,
you did a group reading. It was a magical as hell,
and we went to grow grab and we went to
go grab a bite afterwards, and there's only kind of
one place, and we're going into this restaurant. We sit down.
(24:02):
I hear a guy go thud on a bar stool
behind me. I turned my head and I look back
and Brenda's gone. I mean, it's like it's like you
hopped on your broom and you just flew off. And
Brenda is working on this guy and she's just moving
her hands around, and she has people come and ask
her for help, all like can they help her? There
(24:23):
was like a young woman who was like at a
in a doctorate program to get her right to get
her m D. I think, um, And then she was
a medical student. And then there was all these people
looking around and it was the craziest thing because all
I could think of is like we all watched e
Er and when somebody falls, you see like all these
people they come with knives and bandages and all this
(24:46):
ship to fix somebody. And here's Brenda just waving her
hands over this guy. I mean, it was really kind
of awesome looking at it. Immortal. It was not dramatic
at all. No, no, not at all. Um. And and
you start working on him, and I knew you were
doing your wi woo stuff, and so I was trying
to like I tried to keep his friend at bay eventually,
(25:06):
but um, and then when the friend his friend was
a mess as his friend he was had barely vertical himself. UM,
and you kept him going like you saved his life
effectively and you would never admit it, but you did.
And Um, the girl's next to us don't care about that.
The girl's next to us cared about the hot fireman
(25:28):
that came in, um to take him out, to take
him out. And all I want to do is defend
is like, hey, my witch ain't bad looking. You keep
be excited that she's down there crazy ask people. Um.
But that was like a life changing exactly. But that
was the life chap, Like I've had a lot of
life changing that what being able to witness something like
(25:51):
that was one of the most magical nights of my
life and oh my god, hands down it was um.
And to see you do that and to be of
service so quickly, like you're your own kind of paramedic.
You're like a spiritual paramedic or something I don't know.
And so it's funny you brought it up because I
in my head the whole time you've been talking, I'm like,
(26:12):
I wonder if she did that that night when she
saved that guy's life and you did so. Yeah, Um,
it comes in handy, right, it comes in real handy.
It's very handy. Uh. Yeah. So I will say UM
to all my fellow newbies out there, is that if
(26:33):
you haven't experienced reiki, UM, it's open to you to
try to let someone work on you. To find a
specialist to wherever you may live. UM, reiky reiky masters
are everywhere. It's I think, and it's I want more.
It's a beautiful thing. And do you know, I would
say to experience of reiky healing, healing, experience of reiky,
(26:58):
you don't have to be working with the master. When
someone has first level initiation, it's flowing. Maybe totally fair,
totally fair. So find somebody who practices about that UM
and and ask around, ask around, because you'll you'll find
someone that's good. Yes, you absolutely will, because people do
not hold back when it comes to UM. Different healers
(27:20):
that they've encountered UM and see how it feels to
you and if it's something you really connect with UM,
then it's worth, you know, maybe exploring it for yourself. Um,
I need to get off my ass and I need to,
but I need to. I haven't practiced. I haven't offered
a public reggy class for a while. So I will
(27:40):
put that on the schedule maybe this summer. Summer is good.
Summer is good, Summer's good. I just spent a month there.
We can just do one, three and four. I forgot
to apparently a parent lamb skipping too. And I'm just kidding.
I'm totally joking. It took me. It took me a
year and a half to get through transgrustal arapy so
(28:01):
um and it and it was important to take the time.
So I totally understand it's not required to take that
kind of time, for for king, But I mean I
took I took a grid level of four four levels
in transwhistle therapy. Yeah, and and and there are four
levels to the master level of reiky as well. But
it didn't Actually, it may have taken a year and
a half. I took a group of like forty people
(28:24):
in New York through it, and it was so much fun.
Oh my god, we would just giggle. We would just
get because we you know, we break for lunch and
everyone go out and I would give them a raanky
assignment to do during lunch and what they would come back,
Oh my god, I got a cab. I got a
cab in the rain because of the reiky and like
and like four of the groups came back with that.
It was just k yeah, it's so real. It's so real.
(28:48):
Like you just just they just they just tickled me
so much. So I'm gonna ask you it's it's just okay.
I was just gonna say one thing. I mean, I
would really consider receiving reiky is is a gift in
its delight and um creates such ease in your body,
you will have your own personal transformation for sure. Deciding
to be a ricky person, a ricky practitioner, even if
(29:12):
you don't open a healing session like you can still
work on your kids and your family and loved ones,
is an energetic upgrade. That is, it's a gift to
you and everyone around you. So I love that because
it is. It so is. It's it's a lovely, lovely
gift to the planet. So my favor is when you
(29:34):
teach in January, this private LF fighted Club, my anti
l Freaky Session, you Freaky Session, yeah, noted. Um. UM
My My favorite I ask is if there are stories
that come up UM that people you don't have to
use their names obviously, but jot them down because I
(29:56):
think we'd all love to hear you know, in the moment,
so does week when these things are happening, if you
would share it with us, because UM, I think it
is it's um what We'm I looking for. UM, it
is it is something I think we all, like you said,
it's in all of us that we all strive to
(30:16):
have that light, right we all in. So the more
stories and especially from you, I think UM is magical
and so it's just reminding us about more magic in
the world. So if you don't mind, that is my
one asking. If it is magic, I think it's. I
love that and I love that you're teaching and you
(30:37):
share these stories. And I didn't know why you got
into raiky and you know, of course it was your brother.
Why wouldn't it be him? You know? Yeah, I know,
And I love that. UM. So I've been very moved.
