Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Insider's Guide to the Other Side, a production
of iHeartRadio. Hi, y'all, I'm Julie.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Hi there, I'm Brenda. Welcome to Insider's Guide to the
Other Side.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
Now, y'all need to know that we are obsessed with
everything on the other side.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Yes we are, because once you learn to navigate the energetic,
or to some the invisible world, life is going to
be more fun and much more serene.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
Uh heck, yes it can. Because let's be honest, br in,
earth school is hard. In fact, you taught me.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
That let's crush Earth school together.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
Well, Hello, my witty pooh, how are you?
Speaker 2 (00:48):
I got a little song today. I'm did great. How
are you you know?
Speaker 1 (00:56):
I am doing fantastic? Thank you for asking you.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
Sounds like you've had some doggies around you.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Oh, always have doggies around me. For the love of God,
that's what makes life grand, true true Dad. There are maybes.
So before we get on, because this show is called
the Tracy Episode, she has a lot to say, a
lot to ask, and but before we do that, maybe
(01:22):
have a few updates. I'll start mainly because you were
taking a drink and I don't know what you're drinking.
I'm just kidding, water, I think, is the answer. Okay,
So we've had some people ask about vibes. In fact,
Tracy's one of them, and so vibes has been reborn
(01:44):
in a smaller version for now on Etsy. So it
is Vibes Metaphysical dot. If you're on Etsy, just putting
vibes metaphysical and you should find it. We're starting out
with just a break the bracelet right now.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Kind of always a good choice, right, And I.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Think bracelets are what people really loved the most.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Well, they're so accessible, right you can you just like
I just I gotta have this and just throw it
on and wear it all day. It's great, easy yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
And it's a really good yeah. And it's also great
gift giving, you know. Huh. And I do have that
dragon's blood that you asked for.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
I will get to you, promise, And you never know
when deal have a chance to expand.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Right, exactly right, exactly right that you have an updated
to my wishi poop? Oh my god that rhyme. Oh
my god, i'mtula say again, do you have an updated
to my wishy poo?
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Nice? You know, I'm just getting ready to go to
you know, fixing to go to a scelin to teach
to Row, I know, and we have a new work
book and possibly an updated deck.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
It might and it might look pretty.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Yeah, it's going to be beautiful. So yeah, it's going
to be great.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
I'm so excited.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
Yeah, so that'll be really fun. So if you're looking
to learn TROW, come check it out.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah, it is like the greatest class ever, and I
will anybody. In fact, I know a lot of people
who listen have taken your your Tour class before, maybe
not at Aslam, but they've taken it virtually or in Cincinnati.
And all I'll say is Brenda is amazing. And don't
(03:33):
feel like you have to be here during class because
it can feel intimidating. So don't be intimidated. She is
the most amazing teacher on the planet. Okay, the importantly there.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Thank you myself. Oh my goodness, you're so sweet. You
make me laugh.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Okay, so those are updates. Do you want to get
started on Tracy? She's got a lot, girls, got a
lot Tracy rocking it and jopping Missouri. Okay, so I
love this. She goes so much to unpack and I'm
gonna say she gets hero ow an episode because she
put a tremendous amount of effort into this note to
(04:13):
us and a lot of thoughts. So you know, anybody
else want their own episode, put an effort so so much.
That was a call to action, so much to unpack.
First of all, I love the oh, I love the
updates on your house. I so love to hear about
all the cool rocks you're using and how all that
(04:33):
is going. It's is so sweet. I want the best
for you, Julie. I would also love to hear any
updates you may have on the Vibe store. Okay, we
already got that, sister, check that check that box. Okay,
So this update on the stones in the house is
the Labradorit cattertops are moving along. For the kitchen, we
(04:54):
have Amazon I. In the upstairs bathroom, we have pink
Onyx and the downstairs bathroom I could weep right, and
then we have Sunstone and the Spiral of Life. It's outside,
it's inside, yeah, it's inside. Yeah, no, it was. You know,
(05:15):
we created a void in the cement floor and inside
the house and it's actually in this in the center
of the house. Because to me, that's the soul of
the house, and I wanted that to be in the soul.
And there's a skylight, no, and there's a skylight right
above it, and I'm going to fill it up. I'm
going to fill it with high grade sunstone. Right, How
(05:37):
cool is that? We've also, right, it does blow your mind.
And then and then Susanne and I have both been
kind of playing with our little artsy craftsy skills and
we've been making these I don't know what you call it, uh,
because it's so much as plaster in these homes that
(05:59):
can like so we have built these images I'll say
for right now on this mesh that you that they
can plaster into the wall.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
Of course they can. Oh my gosh, so fun.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
So I got some found this really great guy on
Etsy and he had I bought turquoise from him. And
the turquoise that he was selling was turquoise that you
used for inlay material. So it's then you know, it's
not big chunks effectively, so it's in lay material. And
(06:35):
Suzanne made a coca pelly for one of them. She
actually made two coca pelly, so she made one just
straight up turquoise, and then she made another one that
is turquoise and has like sunbeams coming out of it
with the right with a sunstone. And then I.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
Made a photos Oh there's gonna be So.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
It's gonna be. I can't wait. And then I made
a thunderbird.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Oh of course, you know.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
We're trying, right, We're trying to bring in the native part,
bring in the spirituality, bring in the Mexican part, the
Spanish part, and so and you know, and I'm obsessed
with the petroglyphs. So that's where the cocabelli comes from.
And the thunderbird. What's so funny is everything I grew
up in around in Oklahoma and Oklahoma we had the
Thunderbird Theater, the Thunderbird Motel, the Thunderbird Hotel, all the
(07:24):
kind of stuff. So we have lots of thunderbirds going on.
So it's and it's also the sign of protection. And
on our gate that goes into our nobody. Get fancy
that we have a gate because it's a small house,
small lot, but there's a gate. And and now it's
going to be a metal gate and we have a
thunderbird on the gate.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Oh, this is gonna be amazing. It's gonna be so
much fun. Oh my gosh, I love, love love.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Okay, So that's my update.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
Okay, that's a great update.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
I like it and that fun. You didn't even know that.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
I didn't know I did that, And I thought that
the sunstone, I don't know why I thought it was outside.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
Yeah, because and that's also a petroglyph, because that's that
spiral has. They've dated around seven thousand years old and
they have been found all over the world, right right, Yeah,
that's what I think is so cool about it.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Yeah, yep.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Oh and I made it. Oh, oh my god. I
made another one of those actually, oh my god, another
on the mesh that we can put on a wall
or on a kiva, which is fire a fireplace. I
made one with lapis and which is so great because
if you think about the kind of bright white of
what the plaster will be, and then you have that
(08:34):
like really rich blue and I picked out a lot
of really rich blue pieces of.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
Course, right, amazing.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Oh it's so great. I'm so excited.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Crafty elf, crafty.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Okay. So that's the update on that.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
So should we take a quick break and then you
come back.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
Why to do that, because there's more questions that she has.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
It'll just be a little easier. Okay, we'll be right
back and welcome back.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
So welcome back, Tracy, to your episode.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
There you go, take it away.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
This is a really great question and I people have
had this before, so this is fantastic, she goes. She
goes comment on feeling stones. I love, love, love rocks
of all kinds and crystals, of course, Can I feel them?
Question mark? Do I feel the vibration? Question mark? Know?
(09:32):
All caps, exclamation point. This makes me very sad, Tracy,
don't be sad. She says that whenever I go to
a rock show, I feel so good, surrounded by so many,
but I can't feel individual stones or crystals. I know
what I am drawn to, in what I can't resist,
(09:54):
But as far as I can go into feeling a stone, okay, sorry,
but that's that's a sentence structure. Later, she goes, it's
it's interesting to hear that Mouldivite sends Brenda out of
her body. I've had a Moldivite pendant for years and
was warned to be ready for intense transformation. Then she is,
(10:15):
math didn't happen?
Speaker 2 (10:17):
Fuck?
Speaker 1 (10:18):
I love this woman? Or did it? She says, I
didn't feel anything noteworthy, even though I wore it every day.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
That is awesome. I love this coming. Can I can
I in my turn to talk yet? So okay, okay,
I didn't make sure. Oh yeah, rock I love nicely played.
So I love this because Tracy, you are obviously feeling
(10:51):
and are completely attuned to what is it tuning you
because you can tell I feel so good, full stop,
full sentence. I feel the rocks, right, I feel the crystals.
I feel better. I am so attracted to this. Just
because you can't feel moldive I throw you out of
your body, doesn't mean you don't feel. And it's just
(11:13):
a matter of practice. I had people who you know,
would put different rocks in my hands and say what
do you feel? And put different rocks in my hands,
what do you feel? What do you feel?
Speaker 1 (11:22):
Like?
Speaker 2 (11:22):
They helped me learn how to dial into the stones.
And I've been picking up rocks since I was a kid,
literally put them in my pocket, throwing them back, you know.
So like I've had this relationship my whole life, and
it doesn't matter because what you're feeling is authentic. Trust it,
go with it. The things that you walk away from
(11:44):
and you just keep it keeps calling you, keeps showing
up in your dreams, showing up in your daydreams. Like,
that's your connection to the stone. Don't dismiss it or
invalidate it or diminish what you actually have, because it's
authentic and it's power, and it's true, trusted, trusted, trusted.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
And it changes. Yeah, I just want to add that part.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
Is with practice too, with practicetheness.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
It does. And it's like kind of where you are
and your life might dictate what you feel and don't feel.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
And what I'm attracted to in different phases of my life,
what's going on, what I'm the work I'm doing, what's
what's being asked of me to do, what's required of
me to do changes. My attraction to different stones will change,
right and being able to honor that and right now, Tracy,
it sounds like you would actually be able to pick
up on I love that stone, but it's not calling
(12:43):
to me right now. This other stone is calling. And
that's enough. That's enough to get through, that's enough to
follow your guidance and help you know to go with
the new guidance and let that activate and support your
energy with what you have to do right now, and
that's all that's required. That's awesome.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
And then I'm just gonna add one last piece to this.
Tracy is and Brenda is as as Brenda I, who
was acting as Tracy was responding to me, is. You know,
I always suggest that since our left hand is our
receiving hand, is to hold it in your left hand
without expectation. You know, when we've talked about pendulums and
(13:24):
dousing rods and things like that, if you are going
to will it to go in a certain way, it
probably will. And with stone, well not the pendulum can
not the divine. I don't think the rod's gonna do that.
But but I've seen people will things like I want
this to happen, and then you'll see like a little
turn little clockwise for them. With stones, kind of just
(13:45):
like shat all your expectations, you know, and hold it
and you know, sometimes it will come for me is come.
Sometimes there's a message, sometimes sometimes there's a sensation. Sometimes
I want to throw it down because I'm like, oh,
what the hell is that because it was something that
wasn't vibing with me at the time, right, But just
(14:06):
kind of give yourself that opportunity to be like, it's
okay if it doesn't work, but I'd like for it too,
So let me see what I get from this. And
sometimes it's really subtle. And you know, moldivite is can
be quite a charge for people aka the Wichipoo. I
certainly feel it as well. My head doesn't pop off,
but it has gotten close at a few times when
(14:27):
I've been in a high vibe state. It's like, I
got to keep that shit away from me. So you'll
just start to be comfortable, I think, and start learning that.
We'd love to hear kind of where where you go
with your journey with this? So love that question, love
love love, Yeah, and I love that you were moltivite
(14:47):
every day and I've loved It's like man, and it's
like or did it change so fabulous? How did it not?
And only you can answer that, you know. It's like
I remember, okay, clearly not done with this, but I
remember when and I was first being introduced to New
Might and I got the call that is a new
(15:08):
Might skull here you visited it and you call me
at me go, well, I have a new Might call
on your name for real, Like it is screaming at you,
and I cannot tell you, guys how because it's a
transformational stone, right. I've talked about new might before. I
love it.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
It is not my stone, it is not my no,
but it's mine. Yeah. Sometimes you just get to be
the messenger. Yes, yeah, uh huh yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
But it was the I mean, it held up its
end of the bargain in terms of being transformative. But
I didn't sit there and have a sensation like it
wasn't a like I felt this vibration or this this
warmth or whatever it was. This stone actually spoke to
me literally, So then there's that.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
And it spoke to me too.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
It spoke to you to What did it say to you, Julie? Oh,
I love that so much. Okay. Her next paragraph is
exactly a question, but I actually I'm just going to
(16:13):
keep reading on because it's because I mean, sorry, everybody,
that's all unfolding as we speak. That. She continues on
about the stones, and then she says, I'm interested in
anything that will help me connect to the spirit world.
I love that Brenda said to connect with spirit world
be fully human grounded. This I can do. One of
(16:37):
my go to things is tai chi. This fall, I
will have been practicing tai chi for twenty years. Amazing, amazing, right, Yeah, wow,
I think it's amazing too, because there's a lot of
people here that actually every city, well did not in Arkansas,
but in California and here. Any time that he can
(16:58):
drive by parks and you see these groups of people
that are doing tai chi, it's wonderful. She goes, Okay,
twenty years, it changed my life. I'm attracted to yoga,
but never sought out a class taichi twice a week.
That taps out how I want to spend my evenings
as I now need a lot of downtime. Oh funny
(17:19):
that she said that because we talked about balance balancing, Well,
maybe that's why I had to read that.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
One Tracy balance in Action. I love it. I love
it totally.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
But here's the thing, and not for nothing. I'm clearly
I mean, Brenda's our yogi, I'm our bear. And and
the thing is, it doesn't mean you won't have time
some other day, some other moment in your life exactly right,
Like it's you're clearly killing it.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
So yeah, go with what works, right, don't have judgment?
Speaker 1 (17:58):
Yeah right, right, Okay, then she says, Okay, now she's
actually cornering me and I don't remember what the answer is.
You might have to remind me, but she goes. I
loved what y'all said about using tools as a key
to fit whatever you have going on, she said. In
response to an email from Christy, Julie mentioned that you
(18:19):
haven't really talked about really extensive tools to work with
that and felt it wasn't appropriate to share in the setting. Oh,
I know what that is. It's because it's too complicated
and we're not It's hard to do in a one
way conversation, is probably what it is. And oh, she
also said, referring to different ways to ground, that's it is.
(18:39):
It takes up a lot of time, and it requires instruction.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
And you have to be able to check in. You
have to check in with people right where you have
to check in? Where are you on this? Where did
you go off the rails? Where did it's all out? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (18:51):
Right? Because every time I learned a ground were either
in small groups. Yeah, like whether it was a small
group of yours, a small group of Patricia's, or it
was on one. That is the only way that I
learned how to do it. So that's what I was
talking about, Christy. So did I say, Christy, Christy Tracy?
What the Because the person who answer Christy's question, she goes,
(19:14):
whatever would you be talking about? She's so funny, spill it.
I would love to hear about that. We can handle it.
Julie went on about the one thing that takes the
most time and really works for her, meaning me, care
to share, We'll love to hear all about it. Okay, no,
I'm we're not going to do that today, but I'm
glad I read it because I think there are certain
(19:34):
things that we've just talked about, and Brenda, especially you
as a as a real teacher. You remember you're the
Yogi and I'm the bear. That's really funny.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
It's very funny.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
I want to say that a lot in my head.
But that's the That's the thing, Tracy, is that you know,
one of the grounding exercises that I learned actually takes
me about fifteen minutes, and that is not something we
can do on a one way communication. Sometimes it takes
me thirty sometimes and one of them. I actually have
(20:12):
music that I play and it's actual heart chakra music,
right that that's how I get started doing it that way.
So I don't know if to tell your sister other
than I Brenda will well.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
No, no, I don't have to tell you either. But
I'm just thinking about when I did my Atheni's Magical
Secrets Retreat, like our opening ritual, the grounding takes no
less than thirty forty five minutes, like totally right, because
we're doing so much and that the frequency gets so
high and like like we're good, just leave us here,
(20:51):
We're good.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
Oh I love it, like yeah because that yeah, because
I learned how to do a Patricia tat when she
taught me a few things. Yeah, no, kidding, just a
few things. But the grounding, you know, it starts at
you know, obviously your feet is where I would start
(21:12):
bring energy in. And I not only hit all the
body chakras, I was hitting them way outside my body,
close to the ceiling. Things like that, creating, you know.
So there's just it's a lot of creation. It's a
lot of work. So that's the reason. So sorry, not
sorry that we haven't gone through the details, but just
explain why we haven't gone into those. But there's also
(21:33):
quick ways to do it too, and we've talked about those. Yeah,
but I would encourage you, Tracy to actually, yeah, honestly,
I've sign up for one of britis classes and some
kind of no, but it's true because I I've I've
learned a magnificent ground in technique from you. I've learned
one from I have about three that I cycle through too,
and I and I love it because sometimes I want
(21:54):
them for different reasons, and so just to kind of
seek the instruction and to learn some of the extensive
ones would probably be my best advice. And of course
I would send you to brother.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
Well and also just find what works for you. Try
some on you know, there's a lot of things out there,
and you know, just try how they feel in your body,
because I think I think the body is really going
to be your tool, Tracy, right because you're finally tuning
it with your practice, with your tai chi practice, Like
I think that's going to be your guide.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
Yeah, there's some fun ones, yeah, for sure.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
All right, we.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
Love to leave my body and she always comes home.
But holy shit, that's fine.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
So we're going to take a break and we'll be
right back.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
Okay, And we're back, and Tracy and everybody else we
have a disclaimer on this last the last section, so.
Speaker 2 (22:58):
We had a little sidebar out how much we love grounding,
and it's just the irony is when you do it
really well, when you take the time to do it
well very system like, you know, systemic and specific about it,
it will take you out of your body in the
(23:18):
most safe, healthy, balanced kind of way. So it gives
you both this feeling of being fully embodied and expanded
and connected to the divine is like an extraordinary journey
as opposed to people who just pop out of their
bodies and then you know, abandon them randomly and that's
not so good.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
And don't come home. And that's the whole thing. Is
like part of the extensive training of it is to
make sure that you come home to your body.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Or other beings jump in while you're out, that's exactly right. Yeah,
that can happen too.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
So and so when I learned channeling, that's when I
learned that extensive grounding because I was allowing a master
to come in. Yeah, and I didn't need to get
lost in the process.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
Yeah, and it's not the masters you're worried about, but.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
No, no, but that's but that was the teaching. No,
it's not the masters I'm worried about. No, it's the
buttholes that I'm worried about.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
All right, Okay, continuing on with Tracy.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
What else, Tracy, It's like you're here? Okay. So this,
she says, is the biggest question I have been reading, studying,
love that. It's that sentence alone. It's like the nerd
part of me. I've been reading, studying, listening to and
watching everything I can find on psychedelic assisted therapy, mainly
(24:37):
cilio cybin zilob is that how's pronounced? What are your
thoughts about using as a tool to help with depression
anxiety PTSD? And then she says, boy, she slaps me
a lot in this. She goes, come on, Julie, get
the letters in order PTSD. Oh, apparently I must like
(24:59):
move them around around PSTD or something.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
I would think I would be the one to move
them around. Quite frankly, I.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
Think the trace is called my shit out, she says,
and Unresolved grief question mark it is said that when
one shouldn't be on She said that one should be
on antidepressants when attempting a siliocybin assisted therapy and stepping
myself off of them. All the grief is coming to
the surface, making me very weepy. Okay, whatever she says,
(25:31):
So I made a list of things to cry about
since I've been on the damn things. Yeah, I've got
plenty of grief. I would love your thoughts and insights
about this. And then the final thing she says is
I appreciate you too, so much. Thank you for all
you do. It means so much all the lowe so sweet,
same sister, same.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
Yeah, so sweet, so sweet. So I'm just so happy
that you found a therapy that you're comfortable with and
are working with a therapist that's serving you and listening
to what you need and paying attention. I want to
be really clear that another disclaimer. We are not therapists.
We are not qualified to comment.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
On We just play one on that.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
We don't even play one on TV. But you know,
so we're not qualified to professionally offer guidance on this.
I mean, I'm, you know, vaguely aware of this treatment
and you know, people say it changed their life. Everyone
should be working with this substance because of the clarity
(26:34):
it brings, the soul level of activation that happens and
other people think it is dangerous and wicked. This is
you know, you can find anything out there, right because
because it's the interweb.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
It's the innerweb, and there's also this is one of
many that people are experimenting with, like ketamine is another one.
Speaker 2 (26:56):
Right and quite frankly, we don't have a lot of
the research on it. So that's you know, that is
what it is. But what I would say, what if
we can speak to is you know, to bring back
the theme of balance, right that we talked about last week.
But this as you're coming off this emotional supportive substance
(27:21):
that you know, so part of your support is going away,
you need to up the other part of your support.
And maybe that looks like maybe I'll try yoga, like
you know, add maybe a short class of yoga to
move my body, or in a breathing practice you might
find very helpful. If not you know, full yoga, there
(27:43):
may there might be some great breathing practices or teachers
out there that are breath teachers that could help you.
You know, maybe extra sessions with your therapist. While you're
coming off this support system, other support has to increase.
So as one comes down, the other comes up and
give yourself permission to stay aware. I love this idea
(28:06):
of you creating a list of things that you can grieve,
because I was just gonna say this, So that's so brilliant.
I'm sure maybe your therapist help you with that. But
because now it's like, Okay, it's not going to just
roll me over, but I can process this in a
little bit in a linear part of my brain. I'll
get to that next, or I'll add this to my list,
or because we do grieve exponentially, like you know, not
(28:27):
just linearly, so you can say, oh, I think I'm
already grieving part of that. You know. Another thing that
can be very helpful for in the moment processing can
be tapping, Like when something overwhelms you in the moment,
you can do that, you know, those those seven points
tapping through things or emotional freedom technique. It's the same process.
(28:50):
So these are things to keep in mind for those
emergency situations when you feel overwhelmed. But that's that's what
I would think, because you're taking away some of the numbing,
so it's natural for all those emotions to come to
the surface. You're doing exactly what you can be and
these numbing drugs help us hope. They help us be
(29:11):
able to function. They help us, you know, be able
to breathe when we feel like we can't. They keep
us from going, you know, over the cliff like emotions.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
Because grief can be debilitated without a doubt. You can
be a zombie. I was for a period of time.
It's like you don't feel anything all of that and
you need to move on. You need to function in life.
And if this is a way to both function and grief.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
Yeah, it can be like a band aid that says, okay,
I so that I can I can participate in life.
I won't be fully functioning, but I can function enough
until I'm ready to take, you know, a bite at
a time, and give yourself lots of Like you said,
I need time and space to process. So give yourself
(30:00):
lots of time and space to come off of this
as slowly as you know, you and your therapist decide
is right for you.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
And cry on. Yeah, just it's seriously cry on. It
is like that's how we get things out. You know,
you got to feel it. What is that old ad
age is like the only way to get to get
to it is go through it or not around whatever
funck it is. But it's like, you know, you just
(30:29):
have to go through it, and we all do. No
one gets no one gets a whole pass on grief.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Well you look, grief now or grief later. Right, it's
not going anywhere, right right?
Speaker 1 (30:39):
Grief later? Oh my god, that's so that's actually way better.
It was a new adage. Grief now or grief later.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
And you know, either is okay. There's no judgment about it,
but I would I would say it can be helpful
to while you're reading supportive material and talking to your therapists.
Have also a list of the like make yourself a
play list of grieving songs because that can help you along,
or you know, my ELF's version grieving movies.
Speaker 1 (31:06):
Right yeah? Or airplane flights yeah, playing flights yeah, but
movies for sure? Are you kidding? That's totally TV shows,
you name it. It's like, all of a sudden, I'm like,
what just hit me?
Speaker 2 (31:17):
Yeah? You know, And it's a great release mechanism to
be supportive grieving sub.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
Lasso that's a great grieving series.
Speaker 2 (31:26):
Really, Oh my god?
Speaker 1 (31:28):
Yes, but I cry lots of weird shit, so who
am I? But if you need some grieving songs like
hit me back up, Tracy, because I got some good ones.
Speaker 2 (31:36):
There you go. So that's what I have. What do
you have for my plane?
Speaker 1 (31:40):
Well, listen, I I'm such a chicken shit that I've
never actually participated in anything psychotropic, you know, anything like that.
I just it's I think it's a little bit of
a control freak.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
What about the time you landed from an intern.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
That was an accident, that was a toll that was
not into and we blamed Tricia for that, but that's
totally true. But it wasn't about coping or grieving. It
was just like, oh God, I'm tired. Took the pill,
and yeah it was an oxyconton. I totally understand why
people got addicted to it. Okay, So that was more
of a story of like, just if you don't have
to take it, don't.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
I didn't know what it was. I was asking because
I didn't know what it is.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
And I totally understand that, and I appreciate that. But
this psycha, but this stuff that like you intentionally take,
I'm just a bit of a chicken about the whole
thing because maybe I've seen too many movies. Maybe I'm
a control freak. So I have no judgment on it,
to be perfectly frank, I think that if there's something
that helps people actually have a friend. Her son just
(32:42):
went through a big struggle with alcoholism and he got
on a ketamin regimen from a doctor, and he's a
different kid. He is off the booze. He is healthy again.
He is her son again. I mean in a better
version of it, because now he's actually gone through this
and there's so much humility that you get from it, right,
(33:05):
So it worked for him. So again, like I said,
no judgment, I don't have any have no advice other
than what you said, fully agree. I'm a big fan
of grieving. I do it a lot. It's like, once
I started, I couldn't stop and understand the need to
escape it, especially because I can think back because we're
(33:25):
almost now, Jill, Yeah, we are like right on the
time when Mona was killed in the car accident twelve
years ago, and yeah, and that kind of stuff comes up.
But I remember when it all happened, whether it was
my mom dying six months earlier, jumping or Mona and
I was a zombie. That's when you put your hand
(33:46):
on my back and said doesn't have to beat this hard.
That's how hard I was grieving. I was in that
zombie state. So I understand the need for it, and
it's harder in hell to function. And I just think
all the advice that you shared is exactly like you know, think,
like give yourself a vacation from grief. Find that way.
And I will also one thing to add, though, because
I've spent five minutes agreeing with you. One thing to
(34:10):
add is that I found really helped me a ton
our central oils and what I loved about the oils,
and I did this for I can't do it now
because Suki is so offended by smells. But I used
to put and I know I've talked about this years ago.
I used to put Joy, the central oil Joy from
(34:30):
Young Living in my wet hair in the morning, and
it was uplifting. I love to put orange in my
hair or on my body or whatever it was. And
I'm telling you, any place you walk in like, oh
my god, you smell great. It's kind of like an
attraction thing. They all kind of like swarm you because
you smell amazing. But that is one thing that helped
me get out.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
Because when I needed it's a frequency that hits the
emotional field, right, yep, such a great tool. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:56):
So that was my exit knowing that I was exiting
in because I would put it on before I go
to work and I needed to be I needed to
be on fire, I needed to do my job and
I and that actually helped me get out of that.
So essential oils were amazing for me. That's the only
other thing I'd add.
Speaker 2 (35:11):
Yeah, and if you can't you know, you don't have
young living or you can't find it. Just lavender, you know,
which is a universal oil, very accessible, can also be helpful,
very very healing. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:25):
So again, no judgment on what people are trying. It
seems like people who do it safely under you know,
the guidance of a physician is highly recommended.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
Yeah. Well I think it's required actually, but.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
Yeah, it is highly required, and I have again, I
know one of our dearest friends her son just went
through ketamine and it was pretty magic for him. So
how can I disagree with that? So just take care
of yourself, right, Like, don't get lost. That's my biggest
worry about some of those things. I just don't want
people to get lost.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
Yeah, and keep paying attention because your body is very
attuned to the energy. So keep honoring what it's telling you.
I would even because it's your body, and care it
with you wherever you go, and so it and it
changes all the time. Keep a little you know file
in your phone or in your computer or old school
hard copy. You know, just how am I feeling today?
(36:21):
What did I notice? What did I change? What am
I curious about? Whether you add essential oils or breathwork
or whatever it is you add to help you through this.
Speaker 1 (36:29):
Breathing is really handy too. Yeah, but that's breath works
a meal, right, Yeah, you know, journaling that stuff. It's like, Okay,
today I used orange oil in my hair, how had
my day go? Yeah? I did. I was making up
an example.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
Yeah. I just notice what you notice and keep track
of it. It's a nice way to honor and to
figure out what works and what you can pass on.
Speaker 1 (36:51):
So and no better person to invest your time in
is than you.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
Interesting, lovely, lovely, and thank you so much for this
thoughtful Oh.
Speaker 1 (36:58):
My god, this is so great. Yeah, keep writing a sister,
keep having questions. Yeah, you also made me giggle.
Speaker 2 (37:07):
