Speaker 1 (00:06):
All are the roses on intern John at your morning show.
You're in what you think is a happy, healthy relationship,
but then some things start to not add up.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
We rip off the band aid. See what's going on? Chelsea?
Good morning morning.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
You and Rody had kind of an interesting pass. So
you two have been dating for how long?

Speaker 3 (00:27):
We've been dating about three years now, okay.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
But you both grew up on the Eastern.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
Shore, Yeah, grew up together and together.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
But you've been down here for about two years, that's right, okay.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
And he's been down here now for six months.

Speaker 5 (00:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
We did the long distance things for a while and
he just moved in with me about six months ago.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Okay, So for a year and a half of the
three years, basically we're long distance. Yeah, okay, okay, So
here we are, three years in, he's moved in, we're
doing more of the roses. What's happened the last couple
of months that makes you think something's off here? Okay?

Speaker 3 (01:02):
So since Brody moved in, he's been kind of like off,
for lack of a better term, I guess maybe like
a little bit on.

Speaker 5 (01:10):
The secreted side. Okay, kind of weird.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Okay, So for like the last month or so, he's
been kind of disappearing, And he basically explained it off
as he was helping his parents.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Move from his parents Okay, so he would say he
would drive there. How often would go back home to
help them pack, like.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Pretty much every day.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
Okay, so yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:38):
I need to really close with his parents.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
So I get it.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
I would do the same, you know, like you know,
do you're saying, get your jobs lined up, go to work.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
If you have a job, go help mom and dad.

Speaker 5 (01:46):
Come back.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
I mean, it's not too far.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
But his mom and I talk a lot. You're pretty close.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
And the other day it came up in conversation and
she said that they sold their house four months ago.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Oh, so he's been Yeah, he's been going back home
and under the guys of helping his parents, but parents
don't need help and they have him the last couple months.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
Yeah, so obviously he's lying.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Okay, something I see on your email. You have his location,
so you know for sure he's going to the Eastern Shore.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Yes, and it just kind of looks like he's just
sitting in a parking lot. So like I didn't really
think much of it, and I try to give him
the benefit of his doubt.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
But I'm just getting these feelings.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
Of yeah, sure suspicious for sure.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Was he living with mom and dad prior to moving
in with you?

Speaker 5 (02:37):
Kind of for like the interim?

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Yeah, okay, okay, that's uh. And then whose idea was
it for him to move in with you?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Is that? Like we talked about it, this is the
next step.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Yeah, we talked about it.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
It's been three years.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Where at that point, you know, the next step moving together,
and like we didn't like planned a wedding or anything
like that, but we have.

Speaker 5 (02:57):
Talked about it.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Okay, there's a lot to unpack here, Chelsea's so let's
see this. We'll have Sauce call from the flower company
offer him the roses. They should obviously go to you girlfriend,
no about three years. If they go to somebody else, though,
we'll get some answers for you.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Okay, Hi, thank you wore the roses on Intern John,
your morning show.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Wore the rosies on Intern John and your morning show
at Chelsea And to recap this, you and Brody both
grew up on the Eastern Shore. I've been dating for
about three years. You recently moved again, I guess not recently.
You lived down here. He moved in with you about
six months ago, so for about a year and a
half of the relationship, you guys were long distance. The

(03:39):
reason we're doing war the roses is over the last
couple of weeks, I guess, I guess months, you could
say he's been a little bit distant, a little bit
acting shady. He has also told you that he's been
going home to the Eastern Shore to help mom and
dad pack up because they sold their home. You found
out from his mom this past week. They sold the

(03:59):
home four months ago, so there's no reason for him
to be going back to the Eastern Shore. That's kind
of where we're at right.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
You are a fantastic listener than you. Thank you got
all of that.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Does he have a day job, because to go.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Back his office and seem, yeah, he he told me
that he got a job.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
We don't know for sure though, if that's that's happening
or I mean, I.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Mean you kind of just assume that the person is
coming home wearing, you know, wearing his shirt.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
So yeah, I mean, anything a couple more questions real quick.
When you and his mom kind of have the aha
moment of he's going back with no reason, did his
mom seem confused or his mom seemed to be like,
oh no, I.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Let something slip.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Yeah, you know, I kind of didn't want to alarm
her and make anything weird between us, so I just
kind of like let it go. Okay, it's like, oh, okay, yeah,
that's cool whatever. You know. I didn't want to make
a big stink in getting parents and family involved because
that's kind of crappy.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
And the last questions, when's the last time you both
went home together, like you both made the trip.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
I would say probably in the last month and a
half or two. My timeline, my timeline might be a
little off.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
Anyhow, I get a.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Lot going on right now.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Oh good, o good, So listen to this sauce A
call from the flower company. Off from the roses. They
should go to you girlfriend of three years. If they do,
we put them on hold. See what you want to do.
If they don't, we'll get some answers for you.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Okay, awesome, thank you. One second. There's a lot to
do process here.

Speaker 6 (05:49):
Hello, I am calling for Brody.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
Yeah, Hi, my name is Jenna.

Speaker 6 (05:55):
I'm actually calling you from YMSS Flowers because you won
our weekly contest. So you get a dozen red roses
then wherever you want, totally free, and I just need
to get some info so we can get those out
as soon as possible.

Speaker 5 (06:06):
Well, how how do you get this number?

Speaker 6 (06:09):
So we actually have a weekly contest and we have
like some QR codes around downtown so we're new. So yeah,
you must have filled it out. That's how I have
your info.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
I probably didn't. I'm sorry, what.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Are you sure?

Speaker 4 (06:24):
I mean, maybe you did when you're drinking or something.
I don't. I don't know. So we have all your
info right here.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
Okay, yeah, I.

Speaker 6 (06:32):
Mean they are free flowers or a dozen red roses
right for Valentine's Day two. So I mean it's a
win win if you want them. If not, it's okay.
We can move on free, like totally free. We don't
need your credit card info. Nope, we don't need it.

Speaker 5 (06:49):
Okay, are you sure? Yeah? I guess what's free? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (06:54):
All right, great. We basically want to get our product
out there. We're a new flower shop and this will
really be helping. So let me just get some info.
We're gonna make a little folder for you just in
case you decide that you love the flowers and you
want to come back. So who do you want to
send them to? Uh?

Speaker 5 (07:11):
Send them to? Uh kk okay, okay k k.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
Uh is that like that's a.

Speaker 5 (07:18):
Nickname I'm hoping yeah that's Anna. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
But yeah, do you say Kaylen or Kaylee?

Speaker 5 (07:27):
Kaylee Kaylee?

Speaker 4 (07:28):
Okay, dude, you just want to say kk kk?

Speaker 5 (07:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (07:32):
Sure? And then uh, what is what?

Speaker 5 (07:34):
What is she to you?

Speaker 6 (07:36):
Like?

Speaker 4 (07:36):
Your girlfriend? Your friend that they are red rosy?

Speaker 5 (07:41):
Uh, she's she's special, she's uh, she's just her, She's
she's cool.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
Yeah, you're into her. Okay, Okay, I'll write just a friend.
That's a girl. I'll just write a girlfriend whatever.

Speaker 5 (07:57):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
And then what do you want the card to say?
It's just your typical little flower car.

Speaker 7 (08:02):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (08:03):
Can guys do emojis? All right? Can you do uh
you know the two water splash emojis?

Speaker 2 (08:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (08:15):
Yeah, do two of those and and give me a
smiley face.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
Are you guys going swimming?

Speaker 7 (08:24):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (08:25):
No, no, not not really really, you're you're you're basically
riding the town bicycle.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
That's disgusting.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Brody. My name is intern John.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
I got Sauce and Rose here, and your girlfriend Chelsea, Chelsea,
you know who Caylee is.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
Oh, I know who she is. Everybody knows who she is.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Okay, Brody, we're here because your girlfriend three years thought
something was up.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Yeah, so what's up?

Speaker 5 (08:58):
Well, well, I'm sorry, who are you?

Speaker 7 (09:00):
What is this?

Speaker 1 (09:00):
We're doing a war of the roses in the show, Brody,
and your girlfriend, Chelsea thought something was up. She knows
that your parents moved four months ago. I'm assuming you've
been going back home to see Kyley. Why are you
sending her romantic flowers?

Speaker 5 (09:12):
I'm okay, I'm not sending I'm not sending a romantic flowers.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
Red roses, Red roses the most romantic of flowers.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
And he's special, she's special and to water's in a
smiley face, you're disgusting.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
Yeah, okay. First off, you guys called me and offered
me red roses. Okay, that was the only option I had.
Second of all, she is an esthetician and she's working
to be one, and she's getting her agree being a
good friend because she is a friend of mine.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
Supported So what did the water emojis mean?

Speaker 7 (09:42):
Though?

Speaker 5 (09:43):
I think that she works with a lot of people's faces,
and that she works with makeup and stuff like that,
and like that's what she's worked with, right, a bad tuttle.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
You disgusted well that she thinks.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
That this random girl from your hometown she get flowers
over your girlfriend of three years, yes, roses before Valentine's
that you.

Speaker 5 (10:03):
Live with, because she's presumptious and and I don't know,
she believes a lot.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
So your girlfriend, your girlfriend shoking you flowers because she's presumptuosz.

Speaker 5 (10:16):
No, just because look, you guys called me at the
time with red roses. You could have get you could
have sent me, I don't know, carnations or something like that,
and I would have said it to.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Because right, yeah, why not your girlfriend of three years?

Speaker 5 (10:31):
She's going through this right now and I'm being supported.
I will send something, Chelsea.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
Yeah, I think he doesn't figure this out.

Speaker 5 (10:43):
Yeah, we can't. We don't need some chump like you
telling me what to do.
