Dana and Matt have been dating for over a year and a half and even though they don’t live with one another, Dana spends about four nights a week at Matt’s. Dana tells us that things have been great for the most part, but  a few months she found a box with a Tiffany necklace on it so she thought it was for her birthday that just happened. However, on her actual birthday she only got a gift card and doesn’t know where the necklace went. Dana asks for our help to see just exactly what is going on with the necklace.

We call Matt pretending to send him a free bouquet of flowers and when we ask him who he wants them sent to, Matt asks if we can send them to his “special friend” Haley. Find out what’s really going on in this week’s War Of The Roses!

Speaker 1 (00:07):
War Are the Roses on Interns John and Your Morning Shout.
You're with somebody and then you start realizing things aren't
quite adding up. We try to get to the bottom
of seat if they are shooting.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Let me go Dan.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
A good morning, Hey, good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
So walk us through this. You and Matt have been together?
How long.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
We've been together for like a little a little over
like a year?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Okay, and we do not live with each other.

Speaker 4 (00:35):
Correct, No, so we don't live with each other, but
I like I'm over Matt's house like all the time.
I'm probably there like like three or four times a week.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
I'd say, like, okay, so like you'll say there like
four times. So any back to back days or is
it like every other day?

Speaker 4 (00:55):
Definitely, like from back to back days sometimes. Yeah, okay, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
That makes sense. And so we're here doing War of
the Roses. What's going on?

Speaker 4 (01:04):
Yeah, So everything was really great for a while and then,
like I don't know, like a couple of weeks ago,
like things just started feeling off. And I wasn't trying
to kind of like you know, read too much into it,
but basically I found like a box and it had

(01:27):
a Tiffany's bracelet in it, and yeah, and my birthday
was coming up, so I was like really excited, you know.
I was like, you know, and then my birthday came
and the Tiffany's bracelet did not.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah, oh no, thank you exactly.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
It was very weird and I ended up getting He
got me a like bath and body gift card for
like one hundred dollars, which nice, sure, but it's not
a Tiffany's bracelet. So I was like, this is super weird,
Like what's going on? So now I'm just thrown off
and I just feel like something's something's off.

Speaker 5 (02:13):
And I guess across every box off here, he has
no roommates.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
Correct, no, no roommates.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
And it's not like he'd be holding it for a
friend who maybe lives with a girlfriend or anything like that.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
I highly doubt it. I'm hoping that's what it is,
but I don't think that's what's going on.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Okay, Yeah, because I guess that that would be like
you assume it's going for you. I guess, do you
wear jewelry like with tiffany bracelet makes sense for you?

Speaker 2 (02:43):
And if it doesn't, there's no shame either.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
But like, yeah, I would say yeah, I definitely have
a couple of like nicer pieces that I wear, like
when we go out and stuff, So he definitely knows
that I have some nice stuff.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Okay, Okay, yeah, that's odd.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
That's really Has he acted different around you at all
the last couple of weeks or has that been the same.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
It's just you found the necklace.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
I think things are felt weird. I think like things
felt weird, and then I found the necklace. Like he's
been a little just a little bit distant and I
can't really put my finger on it.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Sure, Okay, so let's do this, Dana.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
We'll have sauce column from the flowers should go to
you birthday was recently girlfriend a little over a year.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
If they go to you, we'll put them on hold.
Suit you want to do if they go to somebody else,
who's some answers for you? Okay?

Speaker 1 (03:35):
I think wore the roses on intern Johnny Moore, It's
wore the rosies on interns John in your morning show, Dane,
let me recap this real quick.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
You and Matt been together a little over a year.
We don't live.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
With each other, However, you spend three or four times
a week at his place. You did a little snooping,
thought some things were up. You found a Tiffany box
the bracelet on it. Your birthday was coming up, which
made sense getting the bracelet. Birthday comes along instead the bracelet.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
Yeah, gift car for bath and body works with Hey,
no shit in the game is fantastic.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
However, that's not the bracelet. That's kind of the main thing, right.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Yeah, we're just talking during the song, and this is
wild to me. You mentioned that he recently brought brought
bought those like screen sharing protectors. Have you guys ever
seen those on planes where it's like the little film
he put over a computer screen, snow big and see
what you're doing?

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Yeah, I get to look at it dead on.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (04:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Okay, did he say why he got that, Dana, Because
that to me is unless you're trading government secrets. Yeah,
those always to me seem like they almost draw more attention,
you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (04:44):
And they're single.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Okay, Dan, why did he say why he felt the
need to get a giant screen protector on his computer?

Speaker 4 (04:53):
He tried to say something about like it's also good
for almost like one of those glasses, like oh.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
The blue light glasses.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Yeah, he said, it's a protector, but it also has
like blue blocker light whatever you call it.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
And hey, I guess that makes sense. Okay, there we go.
So let's do this, Dane, I love sauce. Call from
the flower company, off from the roses. Clearly should go
to you, the girlfriend of a year and a half.
If they go to you, we'll put them on hold.
Soish want to we can hang out, move on whatever.
But if they go somewhere else, we'll get some answers
for you. Okay, okay, last question, real quick. We're assuming positive.

(05:30):
Is there anybody you'd be suspicious of in his life?

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Not at all perfect?

Speaker 5 (05:38):
I know, maybe just a misunderstanding one second shrug get him.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Hello, Hi is this Matt? Yes, Hi, my name is Sophie.
