Speaker 1 (00:04):
Hello friends, Today is the day. Yes, hello, welcome to
Kids Short Stories. But today February twenty first, one pm,
I'm gonna be going live on our Kids Short Stories Instagram,
so make sure that you follow that to participate in
our trivia game show where you can win some pretty
pretty amazing things. I will see you there at one

(00:26):
pm Eastern. Well, friends, are you guys ready for part
two of this adventure with Jack and Lennon in space?
Me too, Let's go. Jack realized that he had to
act fast. Okay, Lennon, we can't just stand here staring

(00:48):
at this crazy mess. I've gotta get my suit on
and get out in space. You see, Jack and Lennon.
We're sitting in space inside of their spaceship as they
have just scene Saturn, which is a planet in space
now somehow has the red spot on Jupiter. I know
it sounds confusing, but basically, Jupiter is a giant planet

(01:09):
that has a big red spot on it, and somebody
started spinning Jupiter so fast that the red spot went
flying and splatted onto Saturn, which is a not right,
and it's up to Jack to save the day. Jack,
are you sure that's safe? Asked his sister. Lenin, yoh, yes,
I've done this one hundred times. This one is definitely

(01:31):
a unique situation, but I can do it. He was
putting on all of his space gears so that he
could blast around through space. He wanted to get a
closer look at Saturn and Jupiter and just the situation
in general, because he was running out of time before
Jupiter might actually explode from spinning too fast. All right, Lenin,

(01:51):
you hang on to this walkie talkie here and let
me know if anything crazy happens. But I'll be back
as soon as possible. Okay, So Lenin, just stay safe,
I will, said Jack. As Jack left the spaceship, he
started blasting over to get closer to Saturn, to get
it closer. Look at how in the world that red
spot had jumped from Jupiter and splattered onto Saturn. This

(02:16):
is amazing, He couldn't believe it. He started taking pictures
and was zooming around to get closer and to get
a better look.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Sh Jack, Jack, are you there? You should probably head
back to the ship right now. Shh, Lenin, Lenin, what
are you talking about? Is everything? Okay? Sh I don't
know exactly how to call you what's going on, But
you gotta head back to the ship right away.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Not a second pass that he zoomed back towards the
rocket ship. It was his job to make sure that
Lenin was safe. So he zoomed back towards the rocket ship.
He saw there was another ship right next to it,
and out of nowhere, all of a sudden, he was
greeted by an alien.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Pop.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Hello, what's your name?

Speaker 2 (03:10):
You can talk?

Speaker 1 (03:13):
My name is Jack. Jack's mind started to race in
thinking about all the different things that I know. No,
our aliens good are bad around here.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
I'm not sure.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
We saw you spying on a red spotted house over there.
You should probably leave it alone. We saw it first.
It's ours.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Wait a second, what are you talking about that red spot?
It's supposed to be on Jupiter. Who moved it over
here to Saturn?

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Well, we we live on Saturday, and my family wanted
a red house, and so I made it happen. I
found a beautiful red that was on that planet right there,
and I borrowed it.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Jack couldn't believe it. The more that this alien talked,
the better he understood what happened. You see, the alien
and his family lived on Saturn, the planet Saturn for real,
and I guess they wanted to change the color of
their house, and instead of using paint like a normal

(04:15):
person would use paint, they decided to invent something to
steal the red spot off of Jupiter and h create
this giant mess. Okay, I understand that you wanted your
house red, but this is not the right way to
do it, said Jack. It's actually caused quite a mess.
Do you have any way of stopping the spinning that's

(04:36):
happening with Jupiter? It's about to explode.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Oh, of course I can.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
I just pushed this button right here, and then instantly,
as soon as he pushed the button, Jupiter stopped spinning.
Oh thank you, thank you. But how are we gonna
get that red spot back to Jupiter, asked Jack.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Well, I can put it in a bag for you,
but it's gonna cost Yeah. I need some kind of
paint to paint my house. My family likes the color red.
Do you have anything in mind?

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Jack reached for his walkie talkie and called out to
his sister Lenin. I need you to check the art
closet in the rocket ship. It's in the back in
that art closet. There's a whole bunch of paint supplies.
Do we have red paint? The walkie talkie was silent
for a few seconds, but it felt like an eternity
as Jack waited eagerly hoping that they did have red

(05:28):
paint on board.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Sh Oh, yeah, there's a big bucket of it.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Why you are why are you asking for red paint?
Asked Lenin. Sh I'll explain later. Just bring it over
to the door and I'll grab it. Over the rest
of the day, they were able to successfully trade a
big bucket of red paint for the red spot that
deserved to be on Jupiter. I'm not exactly sure how

(05:56):
the alien was able to put that spot in a bag,
but that's a exactly what happened. The alien handed Jack
a bag with the red spot. Jack handed the red
bank to the alien and.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
He said, look things a lot that'll be a lot
easier than this whole thing. We'll see you letter, bye babe.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
The alien buzzed off back to his ship, and off
he blasted back to Saturn. The rest of the day,
Jack and Lenin located the correct position on Jupiter where
the spot the red spot was supposed to be. On
their ride home, Lenin had a lot of questions. Holy smokes, Jack,
that was an insane day and we actually did it.

(06:36):
I don't know how we returned the spot back to Jupiter,
but it looks so much better on Jupiter than stuck
on Saturn. I know, and I couldn't have done it
without you, said Jack, you should totally think about being
on our space squad. We could totally use you, said Jack,
Are you serious? Lenin's eyes lit up. She had always

(06:58):
dreamed of being on the space squad. Even though this
is the end of our story, today it sounds like
the two of them are in for some amazing space
adventures up ahead the end. Great job, you listened all

the way to the end, and you know what time
