Welcome to Music to our Ears, where we share some
interesting tidbits and stories related to our favorite Lingo Kids songs. Today,
we've been playing with all of our toys, toy cars,
action figures and gugly toys.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
There are toys there, sure are. The floor is a mess.
What do you think we should do? Go to sleep
and leave our toys on the ground. We should clean
up first, But that's not fun.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Cowie's right, it's not nice to leave a mess. How
about we make it into a game.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Oh what game? I challenge you to pick up all
your toys by the time I count down from ten
to zero.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Okay, ready, drum roll and starting now ten nine, eight.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Seven, six, five, four three two one zero nine.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
While you did it? Yay, easy peasy. Wait a moment.
You're right, Billy. You put all of the toys in
the same bin. It'll be much harder to find a toy.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Now.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Oh what do you think we should do? Now? We
could go to sleep. We should put the toys in
different bins. That's a great idea, Lisa.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
We have toy cars, action figures, and cuddly toys.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
We can put each kind of toy in a different bin.
Are you going to count again?

Speaker 1 (01:55):
How about this time we count how many of each
kind of toy we have? We can count together as
we hear each toy drop in the bin. Okay, okay,
let's start with the cuddly toys.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Ready go, one, two.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
And three, three cuddly toys in the cuddly toys bin.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Great job, everyone. What kind of toy should we put away? Next?
The action figures?

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Okay, let's count the action figures as we put them away.
Ready go, one, two, three, four, and five five Action
figures in the Action figure bin.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
What next? Now we only have card toys left. Are
you ready to put those away? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Okay, Here we go one, two, three.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Four, five, six, seven, eight.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Nine, and ten ten toy cars in the toy carbon.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Wow, that's a lot.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Here's a bonus challenge. Can you tell me if we
have more cuddly toys, more action figures, or more toy cars.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Action figures not quite toy cars.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
That's right, we have ten toy cars and five action figures.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Ten is more than five.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
You all did a great job of counting and cleaning up.
That's music is speaking of counting. I know a fun
counting song that we can all sing together.
