Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh yeah, me hint it. I just want to give
you a heads up. The program you are about to
hear may have some explicit language, it may not. It
also depends on where the vibes and the spirit leads us.
Hope you enjoy Welcome to Monita, a deep dive into
the Latin X experience with mo Anita. We want to

(00:22):
create a community and a shared space with you while
sharing knowledge and inspiration. This show is about celebrating our
culture with guests who exemplify the best of us. I'm
Darrylene Castillo, ethe Vital. Today is the day I never
thought would be here. Happy fifty episode, me hint it.

(00:47):
I literally had to double take when looking at our
Monita schedule because time has flown by and we have
had an incredible first season here. I cannot begin this
fifty the episode without thinking you are listeners who have
been so supportive. When I look back at our first
episode with a mare La Negra, I remember feeling so

(01:10):
nervous and anxious about stepping into this host position. It's
something I have never done, and y'all, I would have
nightmares about going blank and interviews and the thoughts of
judgment and how people would respond worrying about topics that
might offend or maybe someone might just not understand. And

(01:33):
there were so many fears that I had to overcome
to step into this position. To see your own personal
growth is something that no one can take away from you.
So Morenita, I thank you for that personal growth and
this is a moment that I will cherish forever. Okay,
speaking of circle of life, personal growth and overcoming scary moments.

(01:55):
For our five oh episode, it only felt right to
have the Mada la Negra step back into the room
with us. Listening back to our first episode, A Mata
and I are not the same people we were back then.
Thank god. Amata is showing her personal growth within her
business mentality, her journey of motherhood with her beautiful twin girls.

(02:18):
How motherhood has changed her. The growth is real, you guys,
and we love to see it. We discussed so many
fears that come along with stepping into motherhood and how
she has been overcoming those fears. This episode is all
about growth, and I think if we aren't bettering and
challenging ourselves, then what are you doing? Going through? Challenges

(02:40):
and fears are tough, However, they can sometimes be necessary
in life. I just tweeted this the other day. Yeah yeah,
I'm back on Twitter. I posted it's really dope to
look back and see how much you've grown, evolved and changed,
grateful for every step I've taken back forward, side up down.

(03:00):
I hope this episode can help you see your own
growth with that thing. VI is back in the room.
She's back in And this couldn't be more of a
perfect time because I'm Mata. It is our fifty episode.

(03:22):
Who woo Yeah, so got got got We made it,
We made it, um, But not only that you started
out with us on our journey and I I am
a big believer in the circle of life, and UM,
I was just like, we have to have a model
for the last episode because I think it's a great

(03:42):
example of like so much can happen in so little time.
And I believe that we are different people than we
were yesterday, UM, and we're growing and we're evolving, and
I just thought that it would be such a great
idea to have you back. And we know you already
know we love you, you already know we we're big fans.

(04:04):
Thank you, UM. And I just think that, like there's
so much going on in your life to share. And
there's so much that it's going on in my life
that I think we can connect on and express and
talk to the people about it. But let's get right
to it. I mean, you had a baby, you have
two babies. Sure it did all and actually, yes, you

(04:28):
know what, honestly, I'm so happy. I'm so proud of you.
Congrats on making it to the fiftieth episode. Um, this
is only the beginning of so many more to come.
And yes, it is true from the last time that
we spoke to now or now I'm a mother of two.
Life has definitely changed for me zero to a thousand,
super happy, less conta. I mean, it is a big

(04:51):
transition in my life, you know, from being the sexy
sex symbol the you know, like I said, yo, I
don't know so now that it's like I have literally
no makeup but thing, Oh hey, us haveing left all night?
You know, my boobs already like hang down to my
belly button. I mean, I've been breastfeeding, like, and I
am a businesswoman, my career, I have so many things

(05:13):
going on. It's it's a little hard to adapt, but
I feel like it's so empowering, so for you. And
I'm gonna rewind back to anyone who hasn't heard the
first episode, you need to go here. In the first episode,
it's incredible. Um. We were really focused on, you know,
generational wealth, the things that you were doing in your
real estate career. Um. Not only that, but we talked

(05:35):
about body positivity and there's so much that we were
speaking about now that you're a mother, Like where are
you now in your mindset, in your thoughts, are you
like in a place where And I'm just curious because
you're always on the go, always on the move. Are

(05:56):
you in a place right now of like stillness? Is
there ever that for you? How has the adjustment been
from career woman now to motherhood and how are you
mixing that all together? Honestly, Um, oh my god, I'm
not sure if you could actually hear my baby in
the background a little bit, but you know what, if
you can, I love it because it just makes it
old but so real. And this is what it is.

(06:18):
This is v A P. Exclusive. It doesn't get any
better than this. Okay, you have my baby in the background,
it's you know, soundtrack. But honestly, mem if anything, I
would say that, Um, I've always been a big believer
obviously of generation of wealth, which we spoke about that
my daughters have brought truly like the beast mode out
of me. I've always been go get her that, you know,

(06:41):
always working team, team, never not working soay so team
naps bad. My daughter is really brought like that beast
mode of me because it's like, now you have these
two little people that depend on you that if you
don't get your butt up to do something, they won't eat.
You know what I'm saying. They need me, and I
want to be the best example that I can. I
don't like the word role model, but I want to

(07:04):
try to be the best example that I can for
them because that same that same work. I think that
my mom showed me that same connection in bond that
I have with my mother. I want to be able
to have that with my girls as well. So UM,
I actually am very excited because recently on Love and
Hip Hop Miami, we did the first launch premiere party

(07:25):
for the last Royal Twins collection and then the first collection,
which is Royalty Empress is a baby clothing line. I'm
literally creating an empire for them. Like I said, you know,
I want to be able that God forbid tomorrow. Mommy
is not here for any x why reason, because a
lot of people we feel like we're here forever, not necessarily.
You don't have to die just because of illness or

(07:46):
because of whatever the case may be. We're being old.
You could be here today, and God knows what can
happen tomorrow if that would ever happened, I want to know.
Will Look, Mommy is kind of set you up. You
have a business, you have real estate, you have this,
you have that, and I want to also be able
to teach them how to take care of it and
how to administry it. Didn't handle it. So it's been
it's actually been really good for me. If we can sack.

(08:08):
I'm not gonna lie. So you have blow down like
coffee is not even enough anymore at this point. But honestly, yeah,
there's so much you just said in there. Because I
can hear I can even hear like the difference in
your voice. I'm not even kidding, Like I can hear
the difference in your voice, like when you said you're hungry.
I'm like this. I can hear the hugger like I

(08:31):
hear it, I feel it listen, formula is really expensive, okay,
and it's two of them and they feed, they feed
every two hours, and it's like a little box. Not
for nothing. Shut up to all the hard working mothers
out there, shut out to all the single mothers out there,
like myself, you know, my most highest respect to you
and me. And if you've never had any kids, you know,

(08:53):
I get it because that was there. Like but the
other day, Um, I would hear people like, ah, you know,
it's so hard being a mother. You're gonna love it
later on your kids blah lah la, this other craft.
And I was like, I get get whatever patois Meda
now say kumbada, until you have them yourself, that they
come out of you, that they look like you than
they now Saybara. I don't know why, but when you

(09:14):
have kids, something in new changes where you feel like
everything I was afraid of doing before I become fearless,
I am willing to kill. I am willing to do
anything and everything in my power in my being. Like
if I'm scared of going up on a mountain, I
am willing to do this for you. So that same hunger,

(09:35):
that same drive is what I'm using right now that
momentum to be able to create this empire for them
as I am right now in the Dominican Republic working
on the real estate right and I'm gonna take it.
I'm gonna go further back because I'm always so curious
because everyone is different, and you and you touched on
shout out to being single moms out there, shout out

(09:57):
to the moms to know where they're you know, know
where they're in right now, like trying to keep their
head underwater, underwater, above water, And um, I think I
wanted I wanted to ask you something that maybe a
lot of women are people in general might be curious about.
But it's like, when you found out you were pregnant,
m what was that like for you? That was that was?

(10:20):
That was literally? That was literally the feeling like ah, shoot, yeah,
damn it, that's go messed up. People are always like, oh,
like when I found out I was pregnant, I was like,
you know, I'm let's keep it real. I want to
know for you, like, what was that like like your career, woman,
you're this and that what we're the PG. Thirteen right now,

(10:44):
we are never PG thirteen Okay, good, because let me
tell you something how in life and be like, damn, mom,
that's how you felt. Um. I was like, ship it up,
it's so bad, it's real. But I know no Paterson mental,

(11:10):
I said, Maladay, not because of being a mom. It
was like in the main day, you know, you always
have so many plans, and I'm like, ship, I have
my podcast, I have the reality. I finally lost weight
for thing. You know, you know, I've lost some weight.
I'm looking good banks and stuff. And I was feeling

(11:32):
momento and then it's like you're pregnant. And then not
only that, but in the moment when I found out
that I was pregnant, I went to this moment of depression. Um,
because I had a miscarriage, and in that miscarriage, I
didn't know that I was actually pregnant of triplets. And
I remember seeing a lot of blood cloths and it's
really dark blood, like just a lot, like you know,

(11:54):
it's like I thought it was like when you have
your period. It's like, okay, well here he goes. You know,
you you spot a little bit, and then I'm like,
these spots are getting like it's really heavy for it
being just the beginning. And then it's really dark and
it's clotted, and I'm like, what is going on? I
called my mom because my mom and I are super close.
I'm like, Mom, what is this? And she was like no, no, oh,

(12:15):
so yeah, I was going through it. I was super
depressed when I found out that I actually had a miscarriage,
and I cried and I told my mom, you know, like,
I feel like I lost my opportunity. I feel like,
you know, I lost my opportunity of being a mom
because I'm already in my thirties, well early thirties. I'm
gonna I'm thirty one now. But um, and then I
found out when I go to get a sonogram, because

(12:38):
what they call, you know, they clean you out of
whatever else maybe left. They're like, wait, let's do a
vaginal sonogram. And then when they do it, they're like wait, wait, wait,
there's two left, two left, and they're like we no, no,
we see two more sacks. There's two more sacks. And
that's when we found out that we had lost one baby,
but we still actually had two sacks left. So um,

(13:01):
those were my girls and sell. The truth is me
that adapting to the reality of you know, now your
life is gonna change. I didn't realize or adapt. So
I had my babies, and even when I gave birth,
postpartum is real. I want everybody to know this. Shout
out to the girls and the women out there that

(13:22):
have gone through it and they've overcome it, but postpartum
is real. I had my babies. I was, you know,
excited because I knew what was happening, but I didn't
understand it. It's like I wanta you know what I'm saying.
You see holds, and then all of a sudden, it's
like two things just came out of me. It's like,

(13:43):
what is this? You know. I was in the hospital bed.
I remember seeing my babies and I kissed. I'm like, oh,
you guys are so cute, and I was just like
here to see them back. And I didn't really hold
my babies like that for a second. Um. Also, my
babies were premature, underweight, so I didn't get to hold
my babies. It was like they take them right away
into the incubators. My babies were in the hospital and
the incubator for like two weeks. I didn't get to

(14:05):
take them home with me right away either, so it
took me a second to actually connect with that the
truth is, you know, I'm indeed I sucked up. I
fucked up my career, in my life. What am I
doing now? I'm a mother? People are not gonna see
me going gay sexy now I'm like a sexy Malfy. Yes,
Joe fedo, Um, the truth is me not No matter what,

(14:25):
at one point in life, you're going to have to
have your children. Not everyone, some people choose not to.
For those that choose not to have children's shout outs
to you. But at one point in life you will
have to do it. And there's no perfect time. With
going through this experience, you will always have a project,
you will always have a purpose, you will always want
And if you're waiting for marriage, you're waiting for the
right man, or you're waiting for the right thing you're

(14:46):
Sometimes things don't turn out and left the way that
you plan. Just because you get married doesn't mean that
you're gonna have a perfect father for your children, doesn't
mean you're gonna have a perfect husband, doesn't mean there's
no perfect nothing. You have to create the narrative, you create,
the store, you create, the lifestyle that you want for
yourself and your children. So let's sit and that's on period,

(15:09):
and that's on period. How did you overcome the so
you had the babies? You had the beautiful babies, and

(15:31):
what an incredible story, I mean from coming from that
miscarriage to finding that you have two beautiful children that
are you know that you are growing and creating um
and then the babies come or not even that, how
did you prepare yourself for the Like, let's I'm even

(15:53):
I'm even like staying back there and I'm sorry I'm
keeping you back there, but I'm I'm like, how what
was that moment for you about releasing that to everyone,
like telling everyone being comfortable like so, like, I know
there's so many women who especially in our field, especially
in career in the entertainment industry, it is like when
you have a baby, you have that feeling my life

(16:13):
is over. How did you like pick up your horness
and like walking the rooms and be like, I'm having babies,
I'm having twins. Uh, We're still gonna do this and
we're still going to be a boss as bitch, do
you know what? Actually being pregnant, being pregnant and seeing
myself called aria still moving up and down, traveling handling business,

(16:35):
still doing real estate handling only, but made me feel
like I'm a bad bitch. Baby, y'all see this, Like
I'm over here creating four arms, four legs. Okay, I
got like two extra brains inside of me, and I'm
still out here looking fabulous and I'm still working. I'm
still making this money. I think I'm stop. I'm tired

(16:56):
as hell, I'm worn out, but that is still not
stopping me from accomplishing my goals and what I gotta do.
And that really showed me going for nothing. But okay,
I like you, like I like this person. Like, dude,
I didn't even know that you had this inside of you.
So yeah, it definitely made me feel empowered. Was it
hard for me to tell the people see me? Mama? Yo?

(17:26):
You know I've always sent her like videos on Instagram
of like wedding dresses. I'm like, oh my god, Mom,
I want to be her like I want to dress
like her, yo, son of doing that first, I wanted
it in that pattern, in that order I want to
have I want to get married, but then I want
to have a home, and then I want children. But
things didn't turn out to be that way. Um, I'll

(17:49):
say this much things didn't even turn out to be
the way that I plan with my the father of
my children, regardless of the things that may have happened.
Um I I love him for giving me my daughters,
you know. But God also puts people in your life
for a reason, in that season, for a purpose. His
purpose was to give me my daughters, you know, and

(18:11):
I am so grateful for that. So there's no perfect book,
there's no rule book on how to live your life.
Things happen and as they go, that's how you grow,
You mature, and that's how life builds your character. But
the experiences that you live, you just have to know
how to handle it. Whether you do it maturely or not,
it's really up to you, uh, the way that you
want to handle that situation. So I came out and

(18:33):
I just told people, Hey, you know, I'm excited. I'm pregnant.
You know, I'm having twins. I didn't even I didn't
even publicly announced with the father my children was in
the beginning because we were in a very rocky stage.
Later on, you know, um I announced it because I
felt like okay, yes, no, or you never wanted a

(18:56):
publicly say you know who our father was you know what. Yes,
I was in a relationship with this person for two years.
This is the father of you know, my daughters, and
we're not together at this moment in life, like many
people have been, you know, you know. But it was
a little bit hard because I felt like people were
going to judge me. I think people judge me more
for their names that they then they did for me

(19:18):
actually being pregnant. Really yeah, I thought it was. I
liked it. I don't know what, girl, And if you
were to find out the names I got from my
from my kids, my other two kids, girl, wait wait
wait wait wait wait wait wait wait, we're not so

(19:39):
we're not done, and we're like, we're thinking, you know,
we want a big family. We want to gi Yeah,
we want to, especially especially because I know that I
got that snap back real good girl, you can do
this again? Yeah for sure. Yeah. Okay, even they're expensive.
Look at Rihanna, Rihanna is going back to work finally. Okay,

(20:00):
let me tell you something. These kids are expensive something
you know also, But it's a lot mena am I
do want to have a big family. I do. I'm
an only child. I was raised by my mom as
an immigrant in the United States by herself. I wasn't
raised around any cousins or grandparents or uncles or anything,
so I never knew what that felt like. That's why
I always had like a really bad relationship with like

(20:20):
Thanksgiving and Christmas and stuff like that, because I hated
seeing everybody in the stupid little family everybody. I have one.
So now I feel like I want to be able
to create that experience that I never lived. I wanna
I want to be able to Okay, it also done
by Yore, you know that that side. And God gave

(20:48):
me you know what here, he gave me two babies,
two girls. It's a SYTHI mental that I had a
being by myself. You know, you guys have each other.
And I want to be able to have more children,
at least probably two more, hopefully twin boys. Oh my god,
wouldn't that be sickening? Honestly, can I say something? So?

(21:10):
I think that like you're living the dream because so
like to have twins. I don't know a lot of
a lot of people might disagree with me on this,
but I'm like, come on, you have twins, Like that's
like a two for one. That's a two for one special. Yes,
one by one, get one free love sale. I love

(21:32):
a sale better. But you know what my girls were,
My girls came in naturally. I want to say that,
you know, twins running my father said of the family,
and they also run in the father's side of the family. Strong. Yeah,
he has twin brothers and his brother also had a
pair of twins, and so the twins just running the family.

(21:52):
That happened naturally. But I don't I'm not saying and
I'm not going to have kids with him again. So
I'm not saying that my next you know, kids will
be in boys obviously because of him. Battle. I am
willing to be open minded to go and you know
what I'm saying, put in the refrigerator. Okay, okay, we're
putting them in the fridge for women. Yeah, modern women.

(22:17):
Angsh freezer. You're going boom boom. And then I'm gonna keep,
you know, making the palace grow. And how soon are you?
I mean, come on, let's be real. Even when I
know I shouldn't, I still give myself a timeline, you
know what I'm saying, Like, yes, my timeline for having
kids was at thirty um, and I did that to
do once, so I think that I did good because
sometimes I'm gonna tell the truth. As a businesswoman, I'm

(22:40):
so career driven that sometimes you get so caught up
that you forget the true meaning of life and what
really matters. You know, material things are a beautiful thing.
Living in a luxury home, luxury car bags. I have
thousands of dollars worth of bags stuck in a closet univolo,
like you know better when all that ship is gone.
For example, I'm hearing the Dominican Republic now, I have

(23:02):
no makeup, I have no nothing. Um I could be
having anywhere, and there's nothing cooler and doper than to
just be with the people that you love, with the
people that you care for. Sitting in Komalo in a
corner somewhere, you're just listening to some music and everybody's
just happy, that joy, that happiness. There's a lot of

(23:23):
people that have a lot of money and are miserable
as hell, and there's also a lot of people that
are very you know, they come from poverty, that are
happy and you know, humbly. I think it's important to
find that balance. And social media and society now drives
us even further away from the true meaning of life
and pulls us into, you know, the materialistic lifestyle and

(23:43):
all this fantasy world that it's unrealistic. You know, you
work to gain money, just to pay bills, just to
buy things, because things are so important. So I don't know,
I just want to have a family. I want I
want to feel loved. I want to feel cared for.
I want that same love that I have for my mother.
I want to know that somebody feels that way about me,

(24:04):
that God forbids something where to happen to me. You're
gonna hold me down because you love me, so you know, unconditionally,
you love who I am as a person. So I
really wanted to have my kids like back to back.
I'm gonna be honest. I really wish that it could
have been with him, only because I wanted all my
children to be from the same father. But that's okay too.
You know, sometimes things don't work out that way, and

(24:26):
maybe God will put this, you know, a man that
is willing to be a good father for my daughters
as well, and I'll have my you know, set of
twins boys with him. You gotta be open, you definitely do,
especially in this climate of life. So one thing that
I'm realizing is that and and and I'm also asking

(24:47):
you this question as well, but I'm hearing it a
little bit in you have your children that you've had,
like these girls, have they really grounded you? Have they
made you realize a bit more of like what's important
in life? Has that kind of that seems to be
like that's been magnified for you. They made me calm
the hell down. They made me take moments of peace

(25:11):
and quiet, even if it's just to lay in bed
with no TV, no phone and just look at them.
They made me realize, like even when I see them
that they're so happy, They wake up so excited just
for nothing. Sometimes they could just look at me and
just be happy and smile, and I'm like, why are
you so happy? But to know that I am bringing
that joy that happiness to them just for me being me,

(25:34):
they definitely have made me way much more grounded, Not
that I wasn't before, but it's a different type now, right.
It's so it's I'm it's like a grown woman energy.
Even the way that you talk, whether you express yourself,
even the way the things that used to matter before
they don't matter anymore. The arguments. I've learned to choose
and pick my battles, you know way better now. But

(25:56):
now it's like, it is it really worth it? Because
if I get out of this chair and I slept
the ship out of you, I'm gonna put my babies
in jeopardy. So you know what, I'm gonna let you slack,
so you think about them before you think about yourself.
What makes sense for them. It's like, you know, you're

(26:16):
only gonna go down from here. I know we're still young.
We're still young. I get it, But at the same time,
we gotta be realistic, like we ain't gonna we ain't
getting any younger. It's only but gonna get a little
bit tougher. You're gonna have to have more responsibilities. You're
gonna have to start being more grown. Because some things
are cute when your twenties, some things are still cute
in your thirties. Like okay, okay, but but yeah, cut

(26:36):
it off. I'm saying, yeah, you're you're pushing it. You're
pushing it. So so now it's like, yeah, I goes, okay,
it's not that funny anymore. Like now you have to
be about your grown woman ship, like, get it together?
It is what it is? All that fun ship. Yeah,
it's done. If you didn't do it before, too late.
Now you need to focus and what is your life
looking like for the next ten years, the next twenty years?

(26:58):
What is your goal? What is your purpose? Financially? What
are you gonna do for your kids? If you die tomorrow,
who are you going to leave them with? What is
their future gonna look like? You know? Are you creating
anything for retirement, which a lot of the youth doesn't
even think about that anymore. Do you have a testament?
Do you have a will? Do you know? Do you
have your PaperWorks in order? What are you doing? You know?
It's like, what's the point of having all this fame

(27:19):
and now there's other ship if you're not using it
to monetize to do anything important out of it. Meanwhile,
you have these girls, with all due respect on freaking
only fans, showing their toes, making thousands of dollars. If
you ain't gonna be that girl, you better figure something out,
you know. So that's just what it is. It just
definitely makes you what do you envision and like the

(27:55):
legacy that you leave for your babies and your and
your children. Um, and I also I'm also gonna throw
this in there. Would you approve of them having involvement
like in the entertainment industries is something that you want
to keep them away from. What are your feelings around that? No, no, no,
no no, this is not an option. You guys are
going to be part of the entertation now you are that.

(28:15):
I don't care in the moment I was pregnant, the
moment that first publication came out, and then the magazine
People magazine, be pregnant from the embryo. You don't want
to do it too bad or you get grown and
they'll say, you just said what you want to do
with your life. In the meantime, you're cute. Okay, you're cute.
Let's monetize out of this. You're gonna think me later. Um.

(28:38):
A lot of people are like you know, they want
to keep their kids away from it. This is how
I see it. Your mother is in the pace that
she is in life, and she's being able to give
you the lifestyle that you have because of the entertainment industry,
because of who I am, because of my talent, because
of the way I've learned to administrate and manage my career,
and you're gonna have to deal with it, no matter

(28:59):
how much to try to hide you from it. It's
worse to hide you. I don't want to hide you.
I want to expose you to it. I want to
expose you to everything. I want to expose you to sports,
to music, to art, to science. I'm never gonna tell
you don't do that. No, No, you wanna throw yourself
over bridge, I'm gonna throw you know, let me wrap
you from your feet and you like the feeling. Okay, Well,

(29:19):
maybe you want to create a spaceship. I don't know,
but I want to be that mom that's open minded,
like I never want to tell you know you want
to podcast that they're welcome from Let's let's let me
get a computer, let me YouTube, because you never know
who your child, Who your child maybe tomorrow. There's so
many talented, amazing people out there, super smart people out

(29:42):
there that were never given an opportunity because their parents
were always there, denying them from their dreams, you know,
whatever it is they want to do. But at least
by me giving you this exposure and will also give
you some type of financial stability that you can use
that to do what you want. I've already created a
bank account for them literally a month, you know, after
they were born, and they they got their savings already, okay,

(30:06):
and they're really getting They're really getting booked for m
booked for magazine covers and things like that, baby brands,
and they're only six months. I really, I really do
think it's important. Some people are like to make money. No,
I am creating their future, you know what I'm saying.

(30:26):
What's the point of hiding them. I don't want to
hide them. See manyana they don't want to do it.
That's on them. But at least you have a couple
of grand here. You have a couple of grand here.
I know you didn't want to do it, but guess what,
all those little commercials and all those little things, all
little gigs that you did, now you got three hundred,
five hundred thousand dollars each that you pick what you want.

(30:46):
And I also just looking at them because the mother knows,
not for nothing but that that ship is true, that
mother instinct. I don't know how, I don't know how
that happens. But you have a kid, you know, like
your mom just be knowing stuff. Right. I guess she
can look at you like something's wrong. You're like, nothing's wrong.
There's a connection that you just know. And from me

(31:10):
looking at my kids, I already see one of them
specifically that she was born for this period, my other baby,
because you know it's Yin and Yang my other baby. Um,
she's cool, she's laid back. You know, she's a chill baby.
You know, Hey, it is what it is. I'll do it.
But whatever, right the other one, Oh, she's with the
ship's all day's already. You're like, world, you will have

(31:34):
to wait and see. But she's my little Beyonce. I
called it first. You're like, I saw it, I did it.
I was giving you all the boom cat cats. Yeah.
So now that you're a mother and you are not
only taking care of your empire, but these two beautiful
baby girls empires as well moving forward in their lives. Um,

(31:58):
is there anything that you want to get involved and
right now not only to help your legacy, but anything
that you're more interested now that you're that you've become
a mother. Like, I have so many friends who are like, Okay,
I want to make baby food because baby food sucks
like I want to make clothing out of natural products
because I've just seen you products or no. But what

(32:18):
I can't say is that recently on Love and Hip
Hop Miami, U launch other clothing line came out. So
we have the Last Royal Twins dot Com. Now we
have our baby clothes collection world Team Empress. You can
actually go check it out and purchase now Last Royal
Twins dot Com. And I definitely wanted at least to
start this off with, you know, for them their clothing line. Um.

(32:41):
From here, this is only the beginning of many things
to come. I would love to have you know, like
baby lotion, baby cologne, all those things that are baby orientated.
And we also have a foundation here in the Dominican Republic,
Last Royal Twins, which is actually a real, real legit
foundation in the Dominican Republic, will start doing things now
for children, um this December, because we literally just started it.

(33:06):
I always help people regardless here in the country, but
now being able to do it, you know, inspired through
my daughter, it means even more to me. I want
to help single mothers. I want to help you know,
mothers in hospitals that don't have any funds. Um. You know,
I just want to be able to help. God has
blessed me, and I want to be able to do
the same for others. Um. I also, obviously I'm doing

(33:28):
real estate here in the Dominican Republic. Besides doing like
airbnbs and things like that, I'm also getting into doing construction.
So I'm really excited about that to finally do my
first construction next year. UM. I have my children's book
I'm this Way available on Amazon and bombs. We have
the first edition and now we have the second edition

(33:48):
to say not the bullies coming out roal soon. UM.
My workout closed Bodied by Amata. Everybody wanted to know
how did I get my body snatched? One of the things,
I mean, one of the things I susly I'm not
gonna lie as genetics and nature, but I'm being for
some reason, when I dressed like in workout clothes, it
makes me feel healthier, like I make I don't know,

(34:09):
it's like a It's like, um, absolutely, it's like I
put my gym clothes on. I'm like, yeah, I didn't
go to the gym today, but I feel fabulous about
what I did. Said yeah, I feel, I feel I
feel like I want to have like a protein shake.
You know, I'm okay, I feel litt bit healthy. Let's
let's have a salad. Come, okay. I don't know. So
I was like, okay, you know what I'm gonna do
a body by a mata, and um, I'm putting that

(34:30):
out as well. I mean, I've really gotten more into
the business side of me away from the entertainment industry,
which is I still love, but I want to I
wanted to be able to do things and create things
that didn't necessarily you know, needed my presence, um but
can still get the job done. And then obviously, once
I have all these things rolling, and then I want

(34:51):
to focus a thousand percent back into my music, my career,
which is my first love. But now I also have
to be realistic and think I also have other other
responsibilities that require stability, you know, and sometimes the entertainment
industry can be very unstable. You're hot today, you may
not be hot tomorrow. You have a gig today, you
don't have it tomorrow, and it's kind of hard because

(35:13):
the bills don't stop. You definitely don't, okay. So basically,
just you know, diversifying my my business and my art. Yeah,
longevity and working smarter and not harder. And listen, Amata,
we are such huge fans here. We support you and
it's such a beautiful thing to see you growing into
the woman that you are and you're becoming, and I
think you are an incredible role model for women everywhere.

(35:37):
So you're doing another thing. I appreciate everything that you're
doing and I'm still looking forward to seeing the incredible
things that you create. Um as you move forward in
your motherhood and you amen. Thank you. Which, by the way, guys,
don't forget to watch the Love and Hip Hop Miami
on Beach one. Of course, your normal was there with
my drama and you know how this is. You know

(36:00):
it is what it is and it's part of life. Hey, listen,
I'm gonna be honest. Okay, you say you wanted the
room me, I want to give it to you. Go
follow me at lnden on all my social media platforms
so you can stay tuned and see what I'm doing
with life. Like Achie Joe, I'm being. By the way,
you also know that I have my my own podcast

(36:22):
is exactly a mata, exactly a mata on my heart.
I'm out there every week, you know, being exactly me.
It's spontaneous, really real and honest and oh am unfiltered, uncensored.
It is what it is when I talk a little
bit about everything, you know, but I love being able
to connect with people. And like I said, do you
see how many businesses and how many things I have

(36:43):
going on? And then now I am a mother of two,
There's no way. I don't even know. If God would
funnily give me a husband, I don't even know how
I would handle that. That's why sometimes you'll be thinking
that you know what you want, but God is like,
this ain't the time, because I don't think I could
juggle every anything at the same time. Right now. It's
just a lot of my plate. But it's a blessing.

(37:04):
I feel like I'm sacrificing, Um, some of my years,
some of my youth, creating this perfect We're not perfect,
but creating the lifestyle, the vision that I have of
what my future should look like for me and my family.
And you're doing it, Ada, You're living proof that you're
doing it and also your living proof that you can
do it all Ada. Before you head out, Um, we

(37:30):
have a portion of the show that I cannot wait
to jump you in on. It is our round of questions.
You're ready, you're ready? All right, there we go, Here
we go, Here we go. What's a piece of advice
you would tell the version of you that was on
the podcast that first time? Don't be scared to say

(37:51):
the truth, be open and just say it all. I
know you think that you're being unfiltered, but you know
that that really ain't true. You know, you know what
you'll be saying when nobody's watching. Okay, okay, Number two,
what's the song stuck in your head because of your
daughter's baby? Check the baby? Check? There's like three all day?

(38:17):
Oh my god, it's it's really cute, but it can
get really annoying, I'm sure. Okay. Also wait next two
point five of that question. Yes, what children show are
you watching right now? NonStop with your daughters? Um Coco
melon melon? Wait a minute with a moment, just so

(38:37):
let the people know. A megasa cartoons in Spanish? No, no, no,
no no, I give emma mommy tracking if I know
to hang Spanish. I want my baby to learn Spanish
as your first language, and then you'll learn English, you know,
in school with everybody else. Yeah, English is there will
come exactly. Yeah. Yeah. Number three, last question, what reminds

(39:03):
you of home or makes you feel at home? Okay,
what reminds me of home? It's the smell of sasson
for sure. No matter how boogie my house is and
how many candles I buy and I make it everything
really cute. Whenever my mom's around, which is all the time,
it always smells like go yeah, Maggiela and like Sofrito.

(39:25):
So definitely that and home, I would say, just my
bed sheets. There's just something about being in bed. I
feel like that's the same feeling for everyone, no matter
how many places you may sleep in, there's nothing like
your own bed and your own toilet. I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
I don't know. I don't know. Like you can go
to anybody else's bathroom, but it's not the same like

(39:48):
in your house. Right. I really felt that though. When
you said that, I really was like, oh my god,
I've never thought about that. That is so you don't
think about it until your home. That's the thing. When
your homes just everything it just like relaxes. It's like
we're home, But when you're at somebody else's house. You
never feel comfortable like that's like just you know what

(40:08):
I'm saying, be yourself. I love that. Honestly, I think
that's the best answer, and I'm so glad you're closing
out the season with that answer. Amada. It's been an
absolute pleasure to have you as always. Yeah, you're always
welcome and you know we love you, sis, so thank
you so much for your time, and it's so good

(40:29):
to hearing from you and to see all the amazing
things you're doing. Thank you so much, my love. I'm
so grateful and I wish you nothing but the best
and many many more episodes to come. Thank you. Mel
