Like it's getting messy. You know, you you think when
you think back to like the rivals and things like that,
when it's gonna be messy because we don't like each
other anyway. It's a lot harder when it's somebody you
care about, like this is getting ugly. Yeah, it's also
really hard when it's someone you don't care about, like
in the case of Bessie and Mariah, because early Bessie
is not showing that he cares about Mariah in the
way that she deserves, and she like gave him. Wasn't

(00:45):
it like two episodes ago or three episodes ago where
she like gave him a pep talk and hugged him
and was super supportive. You know. One, I just want
to much happened. So much happened watching Chauncey and Amber,
you know at the end where he's like kind of
beating himself up for winning that challenge. You, Oh my goodness,

(01:06):
Like I could never with a significant other because that
had to be pressure, Like I want to win, but
my girl is over there, Like that has to be pressure.
So that was such a good moment, such a good moment.
That was really sweet. But I also liked the way
Amber handled Amber was like, he's kind to get it together.
I feel like that would be me if Adam. If
that were me and Adam competing on a challenge and
I love, I love him, but I feel like that

might be Adam where he'd be like, Babe, I don't
need to go home though, da da da, And I'd
be like, oh, I love you, babe. Okay, but this
is a game we gotta get right. One of us
gotta make it all like one of my fas so cute.
I also, there are so many things that I loved
about this episode and so many things I didn't love.
So okay. In the Daily, right interesting Daily, you could
tell that they weren't planning on being out there that long.

The reason I say that is because if you look
at the lighting, they were not looked very well. But
tells me that they did not expect to be out
there that they did not expect it exactly the target challenge,
would you Hell no, absolutely no, I don't care who
was over there, absolutely really no abs, no what No.

I feel like they just got tired of standing there
or something. I feel like it's part of why the
other team. When TJ made it known that it came
down two minutes and you know it's a timed situation. Baby,
you're gonna drink all this, You're gonna say all your
times you get those Basically, they still be there right now,
right and other team period, he would have timed out
like no, ain't no way, ain't no way. But you

know what, No, I'm gonna save it for the gold Star.
I'm an save it. I'm gonna save it. I'm gonna
save it. What I didn't think it was funny though?
Was TJ laughing at Fancy That tickled me? Oh my gosh, yeah, yes,
TJ was just really laughing wild And then wait, did
you catch the super scary TJ moment at the end.
And I know we're jumping ahead, but when Mariah got

eliminated and then she comes back and she's like, oh
my gosh, really I might come back in the game.
I could cry and he goes do it I meant lapping.
It was so creepy, like TJ, where are you on
this week? Wild? Where his rock sand? Like what are
you on? Um? It also was cool seeing TJ's personal side,

like getting me his wife like that and have her
do the horn like that was really that was cool
to him. Also him hearing him analyze the other the
competitors strategies. Did you did you catch him telling? Yeah?
He was like, oh you bad at DJ. Come home, man,

(03:37):
you know what did you stand out to me? What?
When it came time to pull the dagger? Amber baby,
and I love me some Amber. I love her, I
love her, I love her. But this crying session between
her and Nannie, no, no, I know, I feel like
I actually sighed with Ambrons. I feel like Anissa though,
our girl Anissa. She was like, oh God, like, let

em have her little prime moment. Although I didn't know,
Amber had more emotion in the dagger with Nanni than
she did with Chauncey Pete Jordan talking about I'm the
reason you're going in. I just want to point that out.
Here's the thing I totally understand, Like just like you said.
You know, if it were you and I right, I
would definitely feel some type of way because I wouldn't

(04:21):
want to see you go into elimination. I wouldn't want
to see myself going to elimination either. But at the
same time, I'm not gonna say, Devin, are you sure
you want to pull it first? I'm not doing that.
I'm not sorry. I love you, dude, I ain't doing that.
I ain't doing it sorry. Who you would do that?
You would do that. You'd be like, Davion, do you
want to pull it first? We used to flip a
coin and then I think the only time I ever

had to go in like in the draw actually, and
it was one It was me and Kara. I think
she had me go first, I think, but either way
we either it was like flip a coin or whatever.
There was no crying, but like she cared about Nanni,
like I don't. I kind of I feel for Amber
in that moment, But you guys can be the mean.
It's not even that because I love Amber, but that

was doing all that. Um Saturday, well, speaking a sad eye, Yes,
let's get into this gold Star in this time out, girl,
I need to know. I need to know where you
stand this week. Yes, okay, so gold Star. There's a
lot of potential here for gold Star. One one potential
candidate is Harassio's hair in the Daily. It was flucky,

it was luxurious, It had some volume. It looked good
like you just wanted to run your fingers through it. Um.
Another potential gold Star was TJ's wife like coming in
the game with some swacker like that. It reminds it's
very reminiscent of Kiki, very reminiscent of like a k
vibe M. Shout out to Danny and Kiki. Um. And

(05:46):
then another potential candidate is Devin being the spotter. Like,
first of all, I didn't know Sniper's had a spotter.
Why does Devin know that? But also if I ever
became a sniper, I'm gonna call Debbi Dev you know,
because he is like three strikes to the left and
then up twelve angle and then left aim fire when
you're ready, like, okay, Dev, like and didn't miss. So

Dev gets the gold Star of the week. Shout across
the board, across the board, Yes, across the board, shout
out to Dev. And then my side eye you know,
one potential candidate for side eye is whoever decides what
goes into those cups that they were drinking, because that

was nasty tale Like how how you like? Who how
do you even think that? That's? Like no? Like and
do they test that, because you know how they test
all the other suns they test drinking that stuff. Start
it all in there, all right, so it looks so

so absolutely nasty. Um. The other side eye goes to, well,
he'll get an all of the the roomation for something because
I actually don't know what Chetty put it in. But
the other side that potential is um fessie trying to gaslight. Yeah,
our girl Mariah like that, I mean just straight up gaslighting.
Just he gets the side eye, like a major side

what about for you? Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and
put him in time out as well with a dunce
cap like I can't. Um, I didn't like the way
that he was just like, okay, well I made it
this far, I can handle the rest by myself. You
can actually go home. And I'm just don't like that.
I mean, yeah, yeah, that's so whacked to me. But
because to be honest, and a lot of these challenges,

what was that with the mini final y'all full throw
because she was pushing yeah right without when it happened,
and I was like, come on fast, give her something,
give her something, right, you know. And then when she
gets eliminated, he goes, great season. You ain't gonna go
down there and hug her and say thank you, nothing,
just great season. And I'm like, come on, man, you

gotta do better than that. I want her to come
back and kick his ass. So um, the honorable mentioned
And I don't mean that it was honorable. It was
just I don't even know because it was both shocking,
mildly funny, and I think miscommunication on both their hearts.
But Jordan calling our good sis Toria terrorists. You would

talk about dramatics, Okay, Amber's dramatic moment with the sword
had nothing on his dramatic. You know. I was going
to stick by my word until someone came to me
and tried to tell me that this hinged upon our relationship.
I don't negotiate with terrorists, man said, I don't know.
I like, I mean, I did a half laugh. What

did you think when you heard that? I didn't think nothing.
I wasn't shot. I couldn't believe that he said it
and and about her of all people. I was like, wait,
what it was? What it says? But it just lets
us know, like it's just that situation is so deep
because it's so real and we we probably don't even
know the half of it. Yeah, because that blow up

that they had at the table, baby, that wasn't just
about that conversation. Okay, as soon as she started talking
about in the reason, I said, Okay, here we go. Yeah,
this has been waiting to boil over. So oh my
good ah. Oh that was so so so messy, so massy, Um,
something that isn't messy is the love you guys have
been sending us. So just one of all of you

gonna talk about the current status of her and a

gonna be a spicy interview. I know because she came

whoa appreciate you being so glad you came to hang
out with us. Girl, I'm excited. I'm excited. You guys
are funny, so this will be fun. All thanks. I
try and tell my mom that we're funny. Okay, So
let's dive into it, because girl, I got questions upon
questions upon questions. Well, before we get into this episode,
I want to go back to the previous episode, right,
because in the previous episode, Bessie asked you to look

(12:54):
out for him during a guy's day, right, and so
you said he didn't look out for you during the
girls day, and girl, then he responded and said, because
you didn't say anything as Joe ride to die. Okay,
how did that make you feel because it pissed me off,
But how did it make you feel? Honestly, it didn't
surprise me at that point anymore because Bessie did not
talk to me and in the house literally at all

(13:18):
at this point. We didn't talk every single girl in
the house more than me. You know, I would try
to come up and talk to him and he would
tell me to go find a girl to talk to
or that he doesn't feel like why, Yeah, Maria, can
you reminds again is what was your relationship with BESSI
coming into this house? Like how did you guys know
each other? Why did you guys know each other? Like?

(13:38):
How did you become quote unquote ride or dies? So
I end up? I think that we ended up being
you know, a ride and then you could die and
all live. That's how I feel like our listening relationship
it started, but um going in you know, I knew
him for like about a year and we would hang
out and you know, play video gad you meet him

(14:00):
DM me? Yeah, he wrote me on Instagram and uh
oh see that's his way. Yeah, he told me to
you know, meet him at a bar. So I go,
I'm meet him at this bar and he doesn't say
a damn word to me, So I'm like, okay, he's weird.
So I wait what I like, I have to go
up to him and be like hello, and so I
said hi to him and then he kind of just

(14:21):
says hi, really shy and then doesn't talk. So I
tell my friend, I'm like, dude, let's go. This is weird.
And then he find me and he's like, where are
you going? And I'm like, dude, I'm going somewhere else.
You don't talk and He's like, oh no, I'm busy,
And I'm like, okay, then why'd you tell me to come?
You know why? I'm so confused? Yeah, this story gets weird. Wait, wait, Maria,
are you someone who saves her dms? Like? Do you

(14:42):
go through and delete your dms? Or do you? I
I had an ex boyfriend who deleted every single DM
I had with any guy before. Damn you, boda, damn you.
Okay it, but I don't know I had a psychotic
ex boyfriend. So that's what was his line though? Okay,
what was his opening line right when he's slid into
your dms? Because we had him on the podcast recently

(15:02):
and he apparently had some girl, what was it dead?
Was it South America? Somewhere? Wait? No, Puerto Rico. I
think it's Puerto Rico. I think it's Puerto Rico. Okay,
Puerto Rico that he met on DMS, Um, what is
what is an? Do you remember what kind of his
opening line? Because because he was cold DM and you,
meaning you didn't know him before, you hadn't spoken to
him before. He just messaged you you're beautiful, totally get that.

(15:26):
What did he what is it? Just like, girl, what
was the I got you? Is it just a bunch
of noises? All I know he didn't I know, he
didn't say anything smooth. All I know is that he
was tall. So I was like, hey, you know the
looks the looks, yeah, you know every time everything I know.
But I've become such a different person now before if

(15:48):
I met him now, the person that I am, he
would have never even had an opportunity to be anything
more than friends with me because I'm I've grown as
a person, you know. So he got lucky. Oh oh
I felt So then how did you guys ever actually
kind of date? Before you said you'd play games and
hang out. We went on dates and you know, um,

(16:09):
it didn't work out, which we were both cool with
and up just hanging out and being friends. And you know,
whenever we were bored, we would just text each other.
It wasn't like we were texting all the time. He
was just kind of like, were you cuddle buddies sometimes?
Actually your friends? Actually no, like literally not at all,
but before you were friends, where you cuddle buddies? Here

(16:31):
we go? Here we go sometimes? Man, this is the
True Telling podcast. She said, sometimes depends on our mood.
Bessy's not a bad looking guy, so like it depends
on our mood. You know. The more we hung out,
the more I could see where he was at. And
I was in a like I was healing at that time,
so I wasn't you know, taught you on a vulnerable say.

Oh yeah, yes, it wasn't in my best forms. So yeah,
but we you know, we ended up being friends, and
we were the friends that if we were bored, we'd
be like, you want to hang out? Or you know,
if he was going out with the guys and like
wanted a girl to come, he would be like, hey,
do you want to come? You know, want to hang
out with them? How did the conversation come about then
for you, when he was reached out to do like

(17:12):
Ride or Dies, how did that? How did he present
that to you? Walk us through it? What that was like.
He was just like, Hey, I might need to bring
a girl for a ride or Dies, and I don't
want to bring my sister, and you're very athletic, and
you know we get along and I know that me
and you won't have any issues in the house. Would

(17:33):
you want to come? It's probably not going to happen,
but I'm just throwing it out there and I was like, oh, okay, sure.
So he kind of downplayed it. So I downplayed it.
And then they sent us to Atlanta to do like
the testings, and he still downplayed it. I downplayed it,
and then we got the call like three days before
and we were like, oh shit, okay, it's real. Sohow
interesting because he kept saying something that stuck out to

(17:55):
me and day. I don't know if you caught this,
but throughout this season, you know, obviously for many of
the pairs, there is someone who is experiencing a challenge
and someone who isn't who they're bringing in right right,
And I could be wrong, but in my memory. It's
only vessel that I can recall constantly saying I brought
her onto this show like I brought you here. I

(18:18):
did this as if you owe him something, and it's
just become so cringe that he liked under beholding that. Yeah,
I mean he did hold it against me. I don't know.
I feel like it was really rude of him to say,
because I seriously jeopardize. I didn't know that I would
like to compete in this or that I would like
it the way. So going into the season, like I

(18:42):
was literally just following his lead. I was chilling. I
was there for the ride, you know, like I just
wanted to you trusted him, Yeah, you trusted that he
had your best interest at heart. And you know, I
didn't watch the previous seasons besides the ones that the
producers told me to watch, and you know, I saw
how he because they wanted you to see how messy
he was, just so you know, Mariah, they were trying
to give you a heads up. MESSI FESSI for a reason,

(19:02):
but I literally, yeah, I saw him with Anissa and
I was like, Okay, you're a little jerk. I'm like please,
I'm like, you know me outside of this. You brought
me here. It's one thing, you know, it's a game.
You gotta betray people do things that you know aren't
proud of. Really, but when you're not to me, yeah,
because you brought me here, motherbucker. Like I'm not a random,
Like I'm not someone you met in the game. You
brought me here, like I've never done this before, you know.

(19:24):
And he was I won't lie. He was a great
partner when it came to competing. But as far as
like making sure I feel good, showing me how to
do things, I had to do that like all by myself,
you know. You know what. I'm a fast forward because
I was gonna ask you this question later, but since
we on topic, I'm gonna just go ahead and do it.
And the interrogation, we kind of saw him like not
even so much throw you under the bus, gar. He

(19:46):
just pushed you off the bus and kept the bus
rolling right. And so my question to you is just
just watching all of the episodes and listening to everything
that he had said, especially in this episode, do you
feel used? Oh my god, Yeah, As when I look
back on it, it's like Professie to do that in there.
I told him. I'm like, you know, it's very funny
that out of all places to talk to me, I've

(20:07):
been trying to talk to you for days and this
is where he was to talk to me. Because for
days before that, I felt horrible. I beat myself up
about it. I cried in the bathroom just because you know,
I still felt bad. He was he was an ass,
but I still was under the impression that, like you know,
he kept telling me that he wasn't saying these things
and that people are trying to get in my head,

(20:28):
and you know, it's my first time in there, and
I still trusted him. So you know, watching it back,
it's like you did get ribon in the green light
and you were spiteful, but you know, I know that
spiteful never win, so you know, wow, my goodness. But
you know what all of that of you saying that
he didn't talk to you, and you know, he didn't

(20:50):
check on you like you guys weren't the typical ryder
dyes inside of the house kind of explains the Burn vote.
But I want you to explain it More's talk more
about that Burn vote. So the vote Devint Devin put
it in my head that if I didn't, you know,
put in a vote that they're going to put someone
in our guys team. And honestly, I looked at the elimination,

(21:11):
I looked at Fessie, and out of all of the
guys on his team, Fessie was going to be every
single one on the team for that eliminating. I had
no doubt about it. And then I thought about it.
I was feeling so bad and I was like, damn,
if I was in this position, Fessie would never do
that for me, Like, because he's been saying things in
that in that interrogation, he told the girls that he's

(21:33):
closer to all of them than me, like he's shut
the front door. Yes, he trusted the girls more than
he trusted me, and that he's known them longer than me.
And in my head, I'm like, you're very weird for that,
because you brought me here, you put me in this,
and now it's like ride until you know I need
you and then you could go die, you know, So

(21:55):
you felt disposable, yes, And watching it back how I
felt in the moment, it's so crazy, Like it's true
that having experience on the show and you know, doing
it once and seeing what you did wrong could really
open your eyes. I was speeding myself up about doing
that because that's not the type of person I am.
And now watching it back, I'm so glad I did that.

(22:16):
I would do it again, look and just to be
just to be normal person's advocate. I don't like saying
devil's advocate. He needs no advocates, but it's a normal
person's advocate. Now. I don't agree with Bessie on many things,
most things, but I can understand now, and this is
this is just this isolated moment, all right, this isolated moment.

(22:36):
Everything else is this everything I can understand how in
that moment, being up there on the chopping block and
having my ride or die have to say a name
like I. I can understand him being mad in that
moment and feeling like that was a betrayal. No, no,
I felt horrible. It wasn't, and you know Mallet's and tent.

(22:58):
But looking back at it now, I would have done
it again. So that's how do you guys know? That's
how I feel that your team would have to go,
some of your team would have to go in if
you guys tied up the votes, were you told that
explicitly Devin convinced me and actually going, yeah, den't really
be on it. Literally the whole team where they they're like,

(23:19):
the only we're not going to tell anyone what we're doing, guys,
the only person in this group we don't trust to
not tell they're righted eyes Mariah, because I was defending
right so they all they all kept it from me
that they're gonna see. And at the end Amber came
in so Jordan before he called Toria Taurus or tauris
what the hell a terrorist and all that terrorists, which

(23:42):
is wild. We'll get to that crazy yeah, oh do
you want me to say this fire or no? No? Yes,
no, no no, say it. We'll get to yes. Yeah. You know.
We went in the room and he's like, who told
Tori something? Who told her? We're all like, dude, we
didn't see anything. Um. Jordan was so like particular about
us not talking. He moved his exercise bike by one

(24:02):
of the rooms. I felt like he was watching me
like a hawk, and Amber like put me in a
room and she's like, I need to tell you something.
Jordan's watching like a hawk and I don't want to
say Fussie's name. And I was like, Okay, don't say
Fussie's name, you know, And so at this point I'm like, okay,
Fessi's main vote. I know this. So I'm the bus.

(24:23):
Jordan's sits next to me, like, you know, not directly
next to me, but right across from me, and he's
watching me. So shadow, yeah, it was like a hawk.
So I sit next to Fessie. I don't move my
neck at all, I don't my lips, and I tell
him and get ready because I knew you'd at this point,
and but I didn't know how many people were in
on this. I knew that like it was their plotting.

(24:44):
So then when we saw the elimination, I told the
whole team. The guys, I said, where We asked, We're like,
who are you guys putting in? They kept saying, I
don't real, So you know, I told him. I said,
that's fine if you guys put a Fessie and he's
one hundred percent coming back, and that would just be
us to move because he's going to come back. And um,
I'm not going to have my team going because I

(25:05):
hate my guys, you know, and you know we were dude,
our team was getting direct or hell Okay, we were
like the little pip squeaks getting wiped off. I could
or could not depending on the day, tried. Yeah, and
the little indis she tried. Um. Right on your Twitter,
you were going off and you said I defended Bessie's

(25:25):
character so much to the other challengers when he didn't
deserve it. He talked about me behind my back, making
crazy statements like he carried me and many more. What
were some of the other crazy statements that you heard
Bessie was saying about you in the house while purporting
to be your rider die. So besides Bessie saying that
he carried me throughout the challenges, he also said, you know, um,

(25:46):
I held her hand and then as soon as we
split teams, he's like, not my partner, not my problem anymore.
When I was sick, Wow, he told he said he
was closer than the other girls and me. He also
told me that he didn't know if he wanted me
to go home or Nanni, like he couldn't he couldn't
decide who you wanted to go home? What. Yeah, and

(26:06):
your foot didn't ever accidentally slip and hit him in
the mouth or at egor accidentally trip and just like
keep him in the face one time. I R not
that I condone violence. I don't, but that's wild. When
he said that he couldn't decide if he wanted, you know,
Nannie to go home or me. That hurt me because
it's like, dude, you brought me here, and I remember
I went back because you know, I was feeling soft

(26:28):
a little, so I was trying not to cry because
I was like, damn, like what am I? You know,
like why is this my partner? You know? I would
look at other teams and I'd be like, damn, Like,
for instance, Nelson, Nelson was such an amazing partner to
his teammate, checking on her, you know, giving her protein shakes,
working out with her, you know, talking. Not a great
partner to Olivia though, But that's neither here nor there.
Yeah oh no, yeah, so I love Nelson. I do too.

(26:52):
Um so yeah, it just it was definitely eye opening.
And then, you know, watching the episode of him telling
Casey like, you know, how how ride or die? Are
we really? You know, and then saying cases my real
ride or die? Well, then you should have had him
as your partner, motherfucker? You know right? Right? Oh god?
Um what was Banana saying about all of this, because

(27:15):
obviously you were very close to the ban and he
has a lot of experience in this game, and he's
one who just gives his opinion on things. So what
as this you're experiencing this? Are you kind of letting
him in on what you're hearing? Is he the one
