Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey everyone, I'm Anissa Ferrera and I am Davon Rogers
and this is MTV's official challenge podcast, The Best Podcast.
It really is quite wonderful. It'd be better if I
could see you today, but you know I can't, So
it's just a party of one kind of distant voice
with a pretty picture one and a half parts of
(00:21):
podcast episode half. This episode's half, I mean it's all.
This episode was half because we didn't get the whole thing.
If I one more cliffhanger and I'm I quit my job.
No more podcasting. No, we're not podcasting full. But to
(00:42):
be honest, it's just good, like you want to watch
it anyway, because this episode was just full of politics,
political mistakes, I mean political errors out the ass. You
know who is rising to the top of my list
of favorites this season. That darned Danny. That darn Danny,
(01:03):
I mean Danny's like, I don't care who your cousin
is period. I want them out. Oh that's your mom.
It was nice to meet you, ma'am, but I'm gonna
need you to go to I don't care how long
y'all was engaged. I wasn't engaged in either, one y'all.
So that is why he has so hell been on
getting Jordan out of there. He needs Tory to focus,
(01:24):
and I think he thinks that she's not focused as
long as Jordan is in there. I don't agree with you,
okay completely, I respect your opinion. I see why you
would say that, Okay, now that that may very well
be true. However, I think also Danny's looking at it
from a competitive standpoint. When you look at the CBS
(01:47):
challenge that they did Challenge USA and how many people
quit in the final, and then looking at this group
of people that probably no one will quit in this
final at all. Let us get out people like Jordan
has won a lot, and Jordan wins like that's what
he does. And if you want to win, you eliminate
the triathlete that's good at everything. I get why, and
(02:09):
I love Jordan. Now is my part. This is no
clearly no shade, but you get rid of your your opponents.
And I think because Danny is new to this, he
didn't give a shit. He doesn't have these relationships, and
even if he does, he doesn't owe anybody anything, and
that's his mentality, Like I am here for me and
my wife, Perry ain't and I don't. If I don't
(02:30):
play like this, my wife is gonna kick my ass
when I get home. Because let me tell you something,
missus Danny the okay something, Okay, that's that's the fan
right there on the show. She know, she knows she's
talking about the things because I might not be on
(02:51):
Twitter to all my all the all those little birdies
over there, but you guys do a lot of screenshotting,
So yeah, I see the tweets. I know Kiki sat
him down with a white board and a marker was like, look,
this is the play. Okay, you need to do it.
(03:14):
But him and Sarah are still on that level. And
you know what I do respect is keeping the same
energy period and it's been very very consistent. And I'm
big on consistency and dating and playing and whatever. I
love a consistent, consistent feeling of like, this is what
we need to do to ensure our win. I also
feel like because Danny and Sarah won together, that also
(03:36):
bonds them where they're like, you know what, we gotta make,
moves we gotta make but you know what, say what
you want to say. I know there seems to be
this this thing about, don't don't bring over the Survivor
players to the game, don't bring over the big Brother
players to the game. But those two Survivor players in
particular are causing this game to move because I feel
(03:56):
like if those two, if Sarah and Danny were not
in the house, if the same game all the we're
gonna take over, it is gonna go the same way
every week. This is gonna happen. They are causing waves
and I am here for it. I'm here for it too.
And I could say that proudly because I'm not on it.
Yeah who because it's so nice from a viewers standpoint,
(04:17):
because it's exciting and I don't know what to expect,
and I feel like, you know, you need polarizing play.
You need the people like Ben, you need the Danny
as you need. I mean, you might call Ben whatever
you want to call him, but like Ben's Ben's game
and I love that too. Casey and Ben know where
they stand. Casey said it, We're on the bottom of
(04:38):
the totem pole with these people. Why are we playing
their game? So you have to play survival mode and
that's not no pun intended, but you have to play
like you know, if your life depends on it, you're
gonna have to make the moves you have to make.
You know that you're gonna have to make. I'm here
for it to know. I would really like to know
what is going through Casey's mind having such a wild
(04:59):
car of a partner because she was a person right,
Casey is very fat into the back. I remember when
she was on Big Brother, people used to call her
furniture because she literally would just be in the background.
She has no problem with being the sofa she won
as a sofa period. She has no problem with being
in the background right because she pays attention to every
(05:20):
it's crazy so smart. She does have a crazy social game.
She just doesn't have to do much. Yep, and it's
it's just the little things. But ye, very but they're
very deliberate. Card her partner is like, she's very calculated,
where as her partner is like one plus two is
nine and we've gonna make it move, right. But the
(05:43):
thing is if they can't, if they don't have a home,
if they don't have a space there. I feel like
Casey's like, fuck it, let's go Ben. Yes, Yeah, I
like I like this. I mean I love Casey period.
She's a dear friend of mine, but like, it's nice
to see her with this partner and see how they
move in this game together. Yeah, and what they're willing
to do um to make sure they stay in it. Yeah. Yeah,
(06:06):
I'm excited to see how Casey does this year. I
want to high five you so bad because these episodes.
I'm high fiveing editing. I want to high five the
producers this season casting. I mean, this was this was cute. Yeah,
as much as I don't like the cliffhangers, it does
leave the audience salivating for the next episode. And so
(06:29):
I guess that. I guess. I guess it plays to
your event, Like I guess it works, right, I guess
I guess. I mean, I'm pissed, but I'm excited for
next week, right, what you know, everybody gonna pull up
and be in park ready for the next episode. I'm
so ready. I'm carving out a spot on my couch already. Yes,
(06:50):
So for this episode, this amazing, crazy episode. Who is
your King or Queen of the World? You know, this
is one of my favorite segments? And who was on
another plane at this episode? I mean, I feel like
it's so obvious. Kiki is my queen, that girl gobble
gobble gobble until she literally threw that back like a shot.
Durell's like, and then she threw everything perfectly to him. Yeah,
(07:14):
and it was when when it's time for Kiki to
turn on, she turns on. Yeah, and I like that she's,
you know, asserting some type of dominance in this and
like finding out new things, but not like but keeping
it to the chest, like trying to navigate the game.
So it's cool to watch her do that. Yeah. Now
West was on another planet. I don't know what he
thought in this moment where he was like, you know what,
(07:37):
we're not going to drink it now. In all fairness,
in other games it probably would have worked differently and
they would have gotten more things in. But I think
because you know, going into it, I think TJ knows
that people aren't going to get fifty yen. Yeah, that
every ring counts and every drink counts, so they made
(07:57):
sure to say that. He told them, he said wise,
be wise because then points matter, so be why TJ
told him? He told so? For me, this is crazy.
I have three kings this episode. Oh I know which
one the three Kings this episode. So the first one,
(08:18):
of course, is Danny. Danny is blowing me away with
this gameplay, and I'm uh, he's one for this episode.
The second one say what you want to say. But
I love me a little cracked, chaotic person, and Ben
is taking it, okay, n it's taking it. I love it.
I love it. I love it. In his hat he
(08:40):
was listening, we don't know what's the fun of that
cowboy had, but we know it's gonna call some madness
and I am here for it. Oh, I loved it.
I loved it. I loved it. And then my last
and final one, I gotta give it to Derail. And
this is why I'm gonna give it to de Rail.
I'm gonna give it to de Rail because I got
to see a comedic side him this episode, and I
(09:01):
think I see I didn't know he is hilarious. I
had no idea. Durrell gets so stressed out in the
game that he doesn't show like a lot of his personality.
But that man is so so funny, it's ridiculous. He
will have you like in tears, and I'm so happy
that they showed that of him, because that is him
(09:23):
all that he's so silly. See, I love that it was.
It was really it was really refreshing to see that.
And I also have two people that are on another planet.
Are they on the same planet or that you know
they are on two different plants? Well, I don't know,
because the second person might be trying to be on
the same planet as this person. So the person first
person that's on another planet is definitely West. Because let
(09:46):
me tell you something, taking that penalty was a cocky
move because you thought you knew what the game was.
You don't know what this game is. And then not
only that, if you were doing the game by yourself,
you know your strength, you know your weaknesses, you could
have made it work. However you were making it work.
This is a partnership. You don't know her like that
all the well you know you don't know her that
well just shit, So you don't know what her full
(10:06):
weaknesses are, what her full strength and you don't know
and so you're taking a huge gamble thinking that you
know what the challenge is going to be. And I
just think that that was real selfish because it was
a selfish move. I don't think he took his partner
into consideration at all when he made that move, So
I think he was definitely on another planet there. This
might come as a shock, but the person who is
(10:26):
also on another planet? Wait, is Durrell bick up? Why
won't you make the moves? Why won't you make these moves?
I'm so so tired of him playing so far scared
and he just want to go with the flow, like Durrell,
do you know who you are? Like you are Durrell
(10:48):
walking it? And I just feel like he's like I
don't want a body targeting me, So whatever y'all want
to do, come on, let's do it. And I'm like,
who shake the tables? Shake them? We want to shake
them so badly we do. But I think a lot
of us have just been like, you know what, safe
kind of gets me to the end, or safe kind
of you know, you don't want to go too crazy,
(11:08):
and like who do you really? You know? Who? Do
you have? Loyalty? Loyalty too? And like is it my
best friend? Is it my alliance? Is it my teammate?
Like there's just so many different variables I think that
make people play safer than they normally would have. But
aren't you tired of of and not you personally. I'm
just speaking yes, but aren't you tired of playing it
(11:30):
safe and then making it to the end and losing?
You know what I'm saying, Like, I mean that felt
directed to me and I'm okay, but it did happen.
I didn't play safe though I was in the sand
a lot, but you were. Yeah, so we worked hard,
but yeah, I mean yeah, like make it be worthwhile. Yeah, okay,
(11:52):
I see. So I hope that I hope that it
gets spicier. I mean it has to. I mean, it
just must based on what we've seen so far in
these episodes that have come, this season is going to
be chaotic and I'm I'm happy. I am happy. I
need more of the reality side. You know. We we
(12:12):
watched for the challenges, of course, but the reality part
of it and seeing the strategy, seeing what's happening behind
the scenes, like all of that is like it's what
the viewers want to see and we're getting it. Yeah,
And that's also is what got people hooked on the
show in the first place. In the first of the reality. Also,
I need to know why this person did whatever they
did right, just all of a sudden, this person picked
(12:33):
this person. No, I need to know why. You know,
Sarah and Danny have like all of a sudden Jordan's
and elimination, you know what I mean, right, like they
pick him to go first for something like where did
that come from? We need to know the root, right girl,
We are getting all of the roots. A stalemate, stale mate.
You know, mate, that was a mixture of somebody trying
(12:58):
to run a plan and there not working r and
people being like f your plan. That was a full
rebellious movement. That was a full rebellious movement. A couple
of I love, oh yeah, those burn book but people.
So I do agree with what Johnny said when he said,
(13:19):
you know, sometimes burn vote to sit in your people
or you and it does happen. But I don't know
that strategy. That strategy, I really uh mastered that yet
that I can see. I'm sitting at home and I'm
not there, but true, there is a strategy to that.
I am excited about this interview. Girl. No. We have
(13:41):
Zara ak Zaza today on the podcast and she's just
she's amazing. She is a firecracker and I cannot wait
to see what her experience was like on this season
of the Challenge. Well, it's that time in the podcast
(14:10):
that we love so much. We get to interview one
special competitor this season of the Global Championship. She is
a ball of energy, a fierce competitor and mind you
very beautiful. Please welcome Zara to the podcast. WHOA Zara.
(14:31):
I'm so excited that you came to hang out with us,
a girl, like from one you have been like one
of the people that I have been rooting for, so
I'm super super excited that you came to hang out
with us. I'm going to dive into this episode because
this episode is insane, insane. Oh honestly, it's such a
pleasure to be here, by the way, and yeah, I
(14:53):
can't wait to get into it. I mean, I love it.
I feel like this performance for people that haven't like
watch Shoe on TV before, Like from the first challenge,
the qualifier you killed that. Yeah, yeah, Oh honestly, I
thought I was gonna come lost. I was like, I'm
gonnagainst Olympians, like and if the athletes, all these people
who like Ninja Warriors, and I was kind of like,
(15:15):
oh little love me, you know, And then I was like, shit,
that was good. With a beauty blender and shut it down. Okay,
but no, it was so good. And then you had
the running one, which I know for meeting you that
you love running um and you love you run all
over the place, and I didn't. I mean, and these
(15:37):
people are so much bigger than you, but you were
still crush that fearless. I was determined. I was very determined.
I was like, I might be smoke, but I am mighty. Yeah,
definitely love how fearless you are, absolutely fear and absolutely courageous.
And while we're speaking of how amazing and courageous you are,
the episode opens up with you talking about your DISA diagnosis.
(16:01):
So if you could explain to the viewers who may
not know what that is, exactly what it is, how
you're dealing with it, and then also how it comes
into play during the challenge. Yeah, of course. So dyslexia
is like learning, reading, writing, remembering numbers. Sometimes you might
mix them up or you might get letters mixed around.
(16:24):
Can also affect like direction with left and right. It's
just like part of your brain that mixes things up.
And I reckon, Well, no, I know, I was very
outdoorsy kid, and I was a very naughty and I've
got away with a lot of things because I was
into sports and more the creative. So it's not something
(16:45):
that I worked on. And I really really regret it,
yes now in my adult life because like in the challenge,
how can I say it? Like and the challenge you
use things that's not in your everyday life. So it
puts you under a pressure in a dressed and like
something that you're like you could learn, but now you
don't have the time to learn. You need to be
ready for it now. So maybe like with the memorizing
(17:10):
and the numbers and things like that and the math, Yeah,
that's not my fortaste. So I was really happy when
I partnered up with West because everyone knows he's a
bit of a genius, but is he though, let me
this one challenge. She did say, let's just not drink
the smoothies. It'll be fine. I know, honestly, I thought.
(17:33):
I felt like I should have spoken up, and I
was going with We thought we were going to get
forty hoops in you know, easy peasy, but you never
know what's going to happen. I thought, oh, let's not
drink this. I don't want to be sick. He doesn't
want to be sick, but you know what, I do
have my own voice, and I kind of was looking
for him to lead, and I was like, that's a
great idea, let's not drink it. So maybe I was
(17:55):
a little bit of a sheep, but it was sometimes
it does. Sometimes it just didn't work out this time.
What was in the smoothie? Do you know what it
tastes like? You know, when you're like really ill and
you have like flegm and mucus and I don't know.
The Australians thought it was a delicacy because they were
downing it, but for me, I was to the gaggett
(18:18):
was it? I mean it was green, right, it was green.
I think it was also just a texture that was
very flegmy, So yeah, it wasn't It was not pleasant.
I wish I knew, but everyone else, I know, they
said it was vegan, and I was like, that's why
I figured I could you know, it wasn't that bad,
but I guess you can just put a bunch of
vegan stuff in there. And and I'm annoyed because it's
(18:41):
the first one we had to drink for The qualifier
was way worse. Was way worse. And I was like, ah, God, damn.
I don't have any regrets in life, but that is
definitely one of them. Wow. So do you think you
didn't try to convince him to just not take the
penalty because you trusted the fact that of his I
don't know his history, his experience with the show, and
(19:02):
you kind of just was like going with it. Or
do you think in that moment he was like, I
don't want to drink this anyway, so let's just move.
I didn't want to drink that. I mean, he would
have drunk that, And like, I think we were both
just so certain that, oh, it looked like a fun challenge,
you know, like we were like, no way, we're going
to go in. So we had we had the weekend,
we had a couple of days off. We were coming
off on a high. I think we were a bit cocky.
(19:25):
And then and then she hit the fucking fat and
we didn't get any hoops in and we got minus
five but no, it hilarious. Minus three, yeah, negative five,
And then we got two hoops in and I was
just like I just remember looking at the video now
and saying, did we get any in? He's like one
(19:46):
or two, and I was like, no, it's crazy seeing
how you guys did very poorly in this challenge. We're
just going to stay there, put on the Table'll get
it out the way, right because back it up last week,
you guys are eliminated that challenge, like, I mean, very dominated.
It was. I was like, how the mighty have fallen? Yeah, exactly,
(20:12):
we want to hear about their challenge. Tell us more
about Oh my god, okay, gates of hell um. I
just remember us running and then like everyone pushing, squeezing,
shoving you, hitting your head like no one gave a
fuck about you. They were your friend. There were your friend,
Like twenty minutes go now they don't go. Fuck. I
was like, I was like having a whipplash at one point. Anyway,
(20:35):
so as the gates are going down, you have to
run under it. And the first one was like easy,
everyone got through and I was like, okay, can't be
that bad. Then the second round, half the team was eliminated.
If you see everyone starts banging in and as more
people are eliminated, the walls are closing in. I hated that.
So yeah, so you're more crostrophobic. And then it was
(20:55):
down to the scariest part was when it was Tory
and Danny and weston the last teams and I think
you see that I get him in a headlock. That's
because he was blocking me and I was like, no way,
you are going to try and fuck me up. I
was like, if you're going to try and fuck me up,
I'm coming for you. So I just wiggled my way
(21:17):
under that gate. I think he was carrying me for
a bit. I was like, thanks for the ride. I
was like, go where, go get it? But I love that. Yeah,
that was that was very exciting. I loved it. Wow,
you guys are a really great partnership so far from
what we see up until this. Yeah, because this, Yeah,
(21:40):
what made you pick? Where? How did that come about?
Do you know what? After winning, everybody was already um
scheming with each other, talking, and no one kind of
came to talk to me. And I was like, oh, well,
that's odd. I thought I was supposed to be populistens
I won, but I just kind of like kept myself
to myself. And then he came up to me and
(22:01):
he spoke to me, and I was like, you know what,
the first thing in a partner is I want someone
who wants to be with me. But I think that's
in any the start of any relationship. You want it
to be like a mutual thing. Yeah. And actually before
I came in, I actually hadn't watched the challenges, so
I didn't know who was who. It was more like
an organic um, an organic energy, an organic relationship. And um,
(22:25):
he was just telling me his good traits, you know,
like CV, and I was like shit, I was like
I'm in. I was like guaranteed win check, and yeah,
we just bounced off each other. I love that he
has good values. He's got a wife. He is telling
about his dog as well, and I was like, he's
in very family orientated and um, head screwed on. So
it's like, why not let's do this? Why why did perspective? Yeah?
(22:56):
That was that was Yeah, And I think that because
from someone who hasn't the challenge, that's the impression that
he got. You guys have obviously played with him, you know,
and for me, yeah, he just gave like this nineteen
shining armor. And as the show progressed, I felt he
was a really good mentor. Yeah, he was. He was
(23:16):
in the social scene and I really wasn't somebody. I
feel like, well, Johnny and West I think are good
in that aspect that they have played for such a
long time. They've played every side of the game that
they're good at showing you, you know, just like follow
my lead. I got this. So I think there is
like a lot of trust I think in like security
(23:38):
in picking somebody who has that kind of experience and
that you would I mean, it's nice, not why I
wouldn't want somebody to watch all the seasons I've done
and then come on me at twenty four was like
a whole different, like as a pop off queen, like
I didn't care who Like every baby still are you
(24:00):
has the biggest vibes. We should have been foughtless. We
would have. I would have carried you on my back.
I'd be like, come on, and the people and you
just would have fucked them up and ran past. You
would have just held my nose and like I would drink.
I would have made your drinking. And you know what,
I would have accepted that a black visuals this is
(24:23):
why we need the po This would then become a
paid subscription. I just say, I'm so happy that wasn't
because it looked really and I'm also really sad you
can't even makeup. You look looks really pretty. In elimination
(24:45):
that got but short, I don't even want to The
cliffhangers are a little too mush for me this season.
But let's get back to this challenge. So you get
sorry you didn't get it right, tell us the biggest
regret of my life. Tell that's your strategy. Okay, So
the strategy was okay, so there's two left handed, two
(25:09):
right handed, you get pick a mix. The strategy was
just like throw it up there, he's gonna get it in.
That was it. There was no strategy. It just seemed
like playground child playground toys, like you're gonna throw it,
he's gonna catch in, and he's gonna throw it. But
that's how it was so simple. It was just like
one to two to three in and then when we
(25:31):
didn't really get any in. Yeah, So what do you
think was the hardest part that kept you from getting
them in there? Honestly, I think it was like a
mixed failure because I probably it's the accountability for me.
I've got to take responsibility for my actions, and I
(25:54):
didn't perform my best Um, so out of fifty, I reckon,
I got twenty five to him, you know. Um, and
yeah we had a left handed one and he got
a couple and so yeah, I don't don't saying about it. No,
they were very light, some were heavier, some were lighter,
(26:14):
they were heavy. Let's let's pretend they were heavy. Right now,
I'm trying to do I'm trying to, girl, I'm trying
to They were really heavy, right, they were really really heavy.
My arm was strained. Look at these little spaghettis. I
was just fucking wobbling all over the place. We were
trying though, there was no trying. Gave up. You tried
(26:38):
your best. No, I would never give up. I would
never give up. Yeah, just all started from that smooth
and he just went downhill. I think we got cursed.
So after after you lose, we'll know that you guys
are the losers for the day and find out the
roll and Kiki one do you automatically? Are you fearful
that you have to go against somebody who you're aligned with?
Are you nervous that? Yeah, I'm not really nervous at
(27:03):
this point because I'm just like, you know, what we
deserve to be there because we're fucking sucked out on
that one. So I was just like, I just have
to try to think positive. The only person I don't
want to go against his cats because on the outside
and on the inside, she's a really close friend of
mine and really got along with Jordan, and plus they're
(27:25):
te Muka and we are united because we united kingdom. Baby. Yeah,
there's but no Apart from that, I think it's the
fair game. Bring it on. Who did you want to
go against? Like? Who were you? Like? I hope this
is the team I go against? Do you know what
my what's it called strategy and gameplay with? Like other players?
(27:47):
I think I'm pieces and I'm quite emotionally sensitive, even
if I don't seem like it. So I didn't really
want to. I didn't mind. I just prefer for someone
to pick and then let me add them. Oh oh okay,
how like that, because no one can blame you, No
one can be like, oh, yeah, you wanted this and
(28:09):
come back for me. I prefer just to be giving
it on a silver platter and then sat it all up.
I know she said, bring me the head on the planter.
I got right. Don't you worry about anyone. Yes, Oh, yes,
I love it. I love it. I love it. At
this point in the game, there is a huge amount
of politics and going on. Were you aware of any
(28:30):
of these things that were going on, like the conversations
we saw in the episode, Did you know any of
these conversations? I was like, I was aware. Was I
have no idea. I was in the fucking sauna chilling out.
I was in the pool. I was doing my run.
I was practicing my running, like I was going round
and round around like fifty times. But I did make
(28:51):
friends with some of these dogs on the outside, and
I was like, there was my amusement. But I was
just counting laps, but no one. Yeah, I had no
idea about the politics going on. I kind of left
it up to West to like, yeah, I was gonna say,
and that was amazing because they would played pokers, stay
up lay and then I would get my beauty sleep
and be fresh for the next day. I did say,
(29:13):
I love that kind of game play. Like, That's why
I think it was smart for you to pick somebody
who knew the game, who like, it's not even about that,
because the Durrell knows the game, but he doesn't politic.
Really know, he's very chilled. He's yeah, and he's the
sweetest guy and he's so funny, but when it comes
to making the decision, he's so worried about what other
(29:33):
people are gonna do in you know, with regard to
his decisions that he like steps back from them a
little bit. Yeah, West enjoys that, and it also gives
you something to enjoys. I mean, there are a lot
of people that are really like into it, like they
politic like like it's a sport, you know, And I'm like,
oh wow, we were really getting gunned for. Like these
(29:57):
people didn't like It's like, shit, my conditional review, Bring
me back, Bring me back. I was showing you that
but saying that I actually felt like if I was
invited back, I would like to get more involved in
(30:17):
the politics. It looks like it looks fun. Do you
think you'd be good at it? But we'll find out. Okay,
we need to take a quick break, don't go anywhere.
We'll be right back after this. So we get into
(30:44):
this deliberation and the chaos is happening, and then we
see Ben hit the flippity flop flop flop flop flop,
he hit the old switcher rule. How was it watching
him do that at the very last minute? Well, they
were all bashing Ben, but I think the great I
thought that, like, you know, in a child of him,
like he's just he's lovely guy and if he wants
(31:07):
to switch teams, so that's fine. That's like. I feel
like the people who were aligning with him, like his
like Sarah and I also got a don't want anyone
to company me but no. But but he had his
roommates as well. You know, he was sharing with Tristan,
he was sharing with Troy, and I think like, he's
(31:30):
when you get close to someone in there, you don't
want to cross double cross them, like and his teammates
would have put him in because you're saw them talking
badly about him, you know, saying he's a loose cannon
and stuff like that. So I would go with someone
who actually liked me. People don't love the person that
goes against the majority or if as a free thinker,
because then they're like, oh that person, Oh they're a
(31:50):
loose cannon. You described him so well, they just don't
follow you're what you're prescribing, Like yeah, he wasn't he
She yeah, and people don't like that, and I love
it like that role of like you don't know what
I'm gonna do, but it does put you in a
(32:10):
position of target m because they can't control the control
thing it is. That is such a control thing. That's
like being in like toxic relationship. Oh, this is what
the challenge is. The toxic relationship is exactly what it is,
rama bing toxic relationship. But we keep going the other
(32:35):
hop since I came out, well see see see some
people but some people just ain't shit. I mean, I
don't know yet. I have been enjoying this season thus far.
Just got episode. This season is gonna be chaotic. Yeah,
it's gonna be just so so messy. Wait, who'd have been?
Who has been originally going to vote for? And you
(32:58):
was supposed to be going with what was it? Right?
This is supposed to be Jordan and Cas, right, Jordan
and Cas? Yeah, yeah, Jordan and Cas. But then he
switched to Grant and Johnny to wait, he didn't do
what he's saying. Burned he basically because aligned with Danny
and whatever Danny said, he was like, okay, So he
was supposed to vote for Jordan and Kas and then yeah,
(33:20):
I'm just gonna say whatever. To be clear, I got
the answer. Write You're like, I was paying just to
let the listeners know here. I will not show her
face because she does not feel well today, so I
just get to look at her beautiful little picture so
I can't see her face, her facial expressions to know
that she said something correctly. And Tod and Iron enjoying
(33:44):
looking at YouTube beautiful women and it is making me
feel better. Okay, thank you. You know well, I think
I've been looking at the screen so long. My eyes
are like hallucinating on your mouth moving, see I see
what I honestly, it worked well for me. There's nothing's
(34:04):
moving over there. It's like when you go to the
doctor and you get botox and you're like, I'm really
sad right now. That's why I only get a little bit.
So I still always tell them like I have to
go back on television and I need to be expressive
because if I don't want to say something in my
face to say everything and it's still I'm like, it
still has all the things it needs to say. I'm
(34:27):
literally like, give me baby botoks and then I'm like
fraze me like I want to know this because I
know after you know, I met you during the reunion
in London and it was such a lovely experience. And
I know that we were close with Jordan. Yeah, Jordan's
honestly the best. Yeah, and I love your relationship with him.
(34:48):
It's so cute. And um, what was it like because
I don't know if you and Jordan were close at
this point knowing that Danny was just like, did you
know Danny was after him? I had no idea, Like,
I had no idea. The first in initiation when I
had some suspicion that he was like after him is
when Tory. Tory and Danny couldn't come to agreement and
(35:11):
that was stalemate. So literally before the elimination was when
I understood that Danny like wanted to get um Jordan out.
But I thought that was just like a play between
the teams, like they wanted to eliminate UK. I didn't
know it was like so personal. Did you know about
the Sarah and Emily engagement? Um? No, but they shady.
(35:34):
I was like, I was like, that's a bit me.
There's a bit shady's actually I think. But still like
I thought, you know, it was such a beautiful thing
that Jordan and Tory have finally been able to like
(35:55):
be themselves again with each other, you know, because I
obviously didn't meet them from before, but I heard there
was so much chaos and tears and fighting that it
was actually so nice to see because I believe, like
I've always burned bridges with my exes until recently, because
I'm like, I'm like, now, I spent all that time
with you. I clearly liked you for a reason. Why
do we have to burn a bridge? You can, I
(36:17):
still can have you in my life, but you know,
obviously out of far, but like you're a lot to me.
So that's actually really beautiful to see it transition, you know,
like you don't have to hate the person you spent
time with them and that you're going to marry. I
mean they're going to marry like they can be cool
with each other, and so I feel I love a
love story. So I'm like, you, guys, you never know
(36:38):
a kid always happened five ten years later down the line. Yeah,
I think you are on the same train with a
lot of people that are wishing and praying for that
to come to fruition. But we'll see if not like friendship,
you know, that's sometimes even more important because last longer. Yeah. Yeah,
so you have never been into an elimination miss mayam
(37:00):
know how I'm walking ever Verge welcome, got my cherry pop.
I'm not that exciting, not to say, you know, the
first time is always weird. It's uncomfortable. It takes a
few times yet, but it's still scary each time. It's like,
(37:21):
I don't know, scared of him. I think I was
trying to put on like this badass, brave face, like hoping.
I was trying to calculate it. There's been a fun one,
there's been a wrestling one, and I'm like, fuck my life,
it's gonna be a fucking puzzle. It's gonna be a puzzle.
And we all know that struggle with puzzles. Um. Yeah,
(37:43):
but I also did well on the qualifier and there
was a very decision thing. So yeah, and I just
seem still yeah, you know what, don't catch yourself out
because you never know how your body is going to
respond in their moment. Adrenaline is crazy and it kicks
in and girl, things that you thought you never could Girl,
I was buried alive. You understand me on the show,
(38:05):
things that you never thought that you would be able
to do, you conquer it effortlessly in that moment. So
I do not count yourself out, Okay, like crazy mom
strength of lifting up the car to save the baby
type of girl. Like it is, oh my god, it
becomes life or death, you know what I mean, Like
it doesn't feel like that for some odd reason because
it is your life or death in the game. So yeah,
(38:25):
I think you take it. It's also your pride, your reputation,
Like there's some of the things that you're fighting for.
I mean there's a lot at stake. I mean, yes,
but there's a whole especially if you're competitive and an athlete,
Like it's so much. I think like in the beginning,
I was just so happy to be there and I
didn't really have any expectations, and that's how I kind
(38:46):
of look at life, so I never get disappointed. But
the more I say, I don't know if that's a
bit dark, but yeah, But the more I was like
I was doing challenges, I was making friends, I was winning,
I was getting more competitive, the more I started caring
about it, and and then I was like, holy shit,
like this can't be the end? Whoa girl? Or do
(39:08):
you think that because you got round the challenge UK?
Do you think I ever prepared you for this? Hell? No?
What was the challenge? UK? I thought I was in
primary school. Those guys are like the first one was crazy.
The first ever challenge I did was the plank challenge
when you had to wrestle on on a three story
(39:29):
high plank and get your opponent off. The water was
freezing and I thought we were going to be harnessed
up there, you know, And then they were like no,
and I was like, holy shit. So I did like
scream Arabella, and then I got higher off. And then
the second girl, Danny, she was like double my size,
(39:49):
even stronger than me, looked like she'd been training for
a while, and I just was like, not higher off too,
But I was like yeah that after that was the
scariest one. So I thought after that I would be
prepared for anything. So it's crazy because everybody knows that Australia,
(40:10):
UK and Argentina all did the same challenge as we
did for thirty eight. Oh that's crazy. I did. I did, Yeah,
I did the plank one I we did. That's when
Nannie got hurt. Oh yeah, I did not know that. Yeah,
so like the puzzle thing and then run back to
camp and like all this other shit, all the ice
bath puzzle thing. Oh I went blue on the ice
(40:32):
bar like in seconds, but I went blue. I literally
looked like a baby smith and body was trying to
stroke my back for like moor and I was like, dad,
catch me. Yes. But I kind of like that we've
all had to do kind of like it almost seems
(40:54):
like our own qualifier by every all of us having
to do the same chan challenges. Yeah, and then come
on to a championship because I kind of loves it,
like if you made it this far and we've all
been tested on the same criteria, then you all deserve
to be there. But I think I really do agree
with that. But for the UK, we only had two weeks.
(41:15):
That was it, So I would have liked to have
been in there a bit longer. I didn't get as much.
I think, like just mentally after two weeks, that's when
people start to get paranoid. Yeah. There was this one
girl who three weeks she thought I was talking about
her and I say, no, babe, as I'm talking about
where I eat in London. I don't give a fuck
(41:35):
about you. I'm just chatting about two destinations. Oh my god,
two weeks would be a dream, Davon. Could you imagine
two weeks in and out UK? I can't even get
mad in two weeks and or I just say, I
thought before I did this challenge, I thought the UK one.
I was like, oh, brutal, well they put us through.
And then I came to this one and I was like, fuck,
(41:57):
I just leveled up. This one does card. This definitely
does look like a little bit more intense, but it's
always different when you're watching versus though when you're there. Absolutely, yeah, absolutely,
coming from your two week experience. Okay, how do you
think the UK team is holding up compared to the
rest of the players in the game. So, I think
(42:20):
with Nathan being medically removed so early on, we're already
at a disadvantage and the other people aren't stupid, you know,
we already have a target on our back, so they
might want to eliminate us. Plus, we have two very
strong legends, we have, well all of them all three, Kelly,
Anne West and Jordan, So I think they want to
(42:40):
put us against each other to try and you know,
eliminate us, of course, but that should be kind of
like a compliment that people see you aus threat. Yeah,
I like it. I'm like I was, honestly like, I
ain't talking about me again. That's so cute. Tell me more,
(43:01):
tell me. They're like all like pretty warriors, which makes
me so excited. It's like this, everybody's like so prem
and prop and then it's just like then they start cursing,
then they start fighting. Then they're like, put any girl
in there. I don't care who she is, period, I
will n out. That's fine. I love about your partnership.
Your partnership with West is that. Yeah, people are gonna
(43:23):
target him because they do view him as a threat,
but they don't know you coming out the gate. They
don't even realize how you were coming out the gate.
And so you guys compliment each other so well. So
just as much as they're looking out for him, they
better be on watch for you too. And that's just
how I feel watching so far, I think you are
forced to be reckoned with I cannot wait to see.
(43:44):
But oh, these cliffhangers are killing me. Madness, say madness,
give us something. We need something because we thirsty over here,
we are thirst she give us Let me get my
heavier bod. Yes, I didn't want to break for this.
We didn't want to break um. Okay, So in the elimination,
(44:07):
so they could pick anyone um and it's not the
person that you think it is. Even though they seemed
like they didn't know who they wanted to put in,
I think it was strategic. Oh so, so they had
chat without telling us who the people are, right, because
we can't give too much away when the name when
(44:30):
the names were called, were you like, oh, this is
gonna be a cakewalk or were you like, oh no,
how was that? Oh? Help, because that could be Like
at this point, I was like, look at the size
and we look at the size of them. That literally
(44:54):
that still could be any And now I'm being leave
you on a cliffhanger, Da da da, Let me how
to play the challenge? Now, I love it, love it.
I can't wait till you got another one too, Will
you do another one? I would love to do another one.
(45:15):
I feel now I'm more experienced, okay, more experienced with
my two under my belt, but I really like, I
feel like I've learned a lot and I've reflected, and
I won't make the same mistakes twice. You know, I
think you have to realize that you give everything in
every challenge. You don't get relaxed, and you I would
have I would have liked to participate more in the politics,
(45:36):
but also just knowing I have a clean conscience and
like wanting to win with like a good heart and
um that's also that also means a lot for me.
So yeah, so let me ask you this. They ask
us this question in our interviews on Big Brother. Yeah,
I want to brother. I was a big brother. Yeah,
they ask you this. Would you rather be I loved
(46:00):
loser or a hated winner? Oh? Hated winner? Okay, put
it out there, put it, put it out hate me.
Because you met, You're willing to do whatever it takes.
But you can swipe up and I'll teach you. Yeah,
your friend. But yeah, yes, gonna plug your socials. Tell
(46:23):
the people where they can find you, girl. They can
find me at at Zarazophon. Yeah. Is that on Instagram
or is that all your social Instagram? See, people don't
play with Twitter and that's just you, David. Oh my gosh,
I'm slowly falling off to goodness, gracious do you know what?
I thought that I stay away from Twitter, but I
feel like I want to experience life through my own eyes.
(46:44):
I want to do things. I don't want to be
on the phone anymore. I want to do more detoxes,
and yeah, if I want to talk, I'm gonna go
talk to someone in real life exactly. But I also
think it's a great platform to voice your opinion spread
awareness about things like that. I do agree, but also
there's the other side of so much shit, and like
(47:05):
there's also TikTok when people are experimenting with things and
they don't really understand it, but they see it and
they just follow a trend. So I think there's benefits
and like, yeah, well the people will be following you
on the Instagram you can't follow me, you love me well,
and if you don't block you, you I've bled so much.
(47:32):
I love it. It's like one of my favorite Sunday activities.
And black black, black black, Oh my God, for you
and you and you. Yeah, I'm the opera of blocking.
I fucking every biggest it's getting person to be like
if you don't even say and if you don't have
anything nice to say, don't say it. At all. Don't
(47:52):
be a fucking online warrior troll and write shit under
my really cute picture, because that's just not very nice.
Just keep that, write the energy and keep that yourself,
or say but she looked good at the end of it,
like at least give me a kiss, right, you know.
Then it's like, but fuck off the kiss and you're like, okay,
