Speaker 1 (00:08):
Advice. Hello, Hello, and welcome to the Naughty Button Night Show.
I'm your host. Rob Shoes are joining us every Friday.
Is one of our favorites. Corey Andrew from Instinct Magazine
dot com. Corey Love, are you there? I am here?
Happy Friday everyone. Hello, my friend. I'm gonna have a
(00:29):
lovely weekend. I've been so busy all week. I plan
to do absolutely nothing about you. You know what, I'm
going to catch up on some creative stuff. I'm always creating, Darling.
So yeah, I love it. I love that about you. Hey,
my friend, you know what time it is? It is
t exclusive at the top of their show, I love
saying that. You know, a lot of these podcasts they
(00:51):
do recital stories, Corey. I mean, we must admit we're
not going to name names, but they do recital stories
that are out there every single day. We try really
hard to bring you an exclusive, and I think we
do so today's exclusive. It made me mad, Corey. So
celebrities are paying up to a hundred thousand dollars to
get the COVID nineteen vaccine. That's right. So these stars
(01:14):
they're not used to being told Noah, which is why
they are paying so much money to skip the line
and get the vaccine before anybody else. Hollywood sources told
me the following. A lot of celebrities in Hollywood have
been doctor shopping for years. I didn't understand what that meant,
so I did a bit of digging. What it means
is you keep shopping for the doctor until you get
(01:35):
the doctor that tells you what you want to hear
or likely gives you the drugs you want. So this
is very dangerous. But celebrities, if they don't like the answer,
they find somebody else and they keep shopping until they
find somebody. Not all celebrities, but some they keep shopping
until they find a doctor who says yes. I think
the best example of this probably is Michael Jackson and
(01:56):
what happened with him and Dr Murray. So literally now
in the new trend in Holly would is getting this
vaccine in California. At the moment, there's very strict guidelines
about who can have the vaccine and who cannot, And
obviously rich and famous are not too criterias they care about.
But money can buy you a lot of things. And
(02:16):
now I'm told that they're paying up to a hundred
thousand dollars call, but I don't know what I mean,
would you do it? If you have I don't know.
It's a question. It's It's really a question, isn't it.
Because I'm so angry about this, but I don't have
the money. If I had that sort of money, where
a hundred thousand dollars to me was ten dollars to
(02:37):
you and me. Yeah, if somebody offered you the vaccine today, Corey,
for ten dollars, would you do it? I mean vaccine definitely.
I'm sorry to say. Everybody, don't be disappointed in me
because I know because I want to be a good person.
But if somebody said today, you know, for ten dollars,
I'll give you a quick shot. Now we can do
it in the back of your car. We can do it.
But you know I've come to your house. These doctors
(02:58):
actually come to your house. You don't even have to
go to them. It's a wild, wild thing, isn't it.
And that's a pole question of the day. So celebrities
are paying a hundred thousand dollars to get the vaccine
before anybody else. Are you shocked? Are you shocked about this? Yes?
Or no? Go to our Twitter page at Naughty Nice
(03:19):
Rob on facebook page is Naughty Gossip. Sure to check
back on Monday to hear your results, Corey Love, what
are you working on that? Yes? Well? Chris Harrison apologizes
for defending anti bellum party. Yeah so. Chris Harrison apologizes
for the comments he made regarding Bachelor contestant Rachel Kirkconnell,
saying he should have been better informed. So, while I
(03:40):
do not speak for Rachel Kirkconnell, my intentions were simply
to ask for grace and offering her an opportunity to
speak on her own behalf. He wrote, what I now
realize I've done is caused harm by wrongly speaking in
a manner that perpetuates racism, and for that I am
so deeply sorry. Now. Harrison extended this apology to both
his interviewer Rachel Lindsay and two Bachelor fans. And this
(04:03):
whole thing started because photos emerged of the twenty four
year old attending an ante bellum plantation themed party, a
frat party, no doubt, in two thousand eighteen, and Lindsay
pressed him on that party photo as well as she
should have. So much going on with this two thousand
eighteen is really recent right. This is not like ten
years ago when we weren't sensitive to the Confederate flag.
(04:26):
And so I don't know if she gets a pass
on this one. Right, She's had some history in the
past two with that Confederate flag. What do you think
about this? I think, first of all, Rachel Lindsay is
now working for Extra and she is doing a phenomenal job.
So Rachel Lindsay, if you don't remember, is the only
black bachelorette I think we've ever had. She's a wonderful person.
I've met her. She's trific and now she's starting for
(04:48):
Extra and she's asking the questions that nobody else is asking.
So because she was on the show every week, Chris
Harrison or or somebody from The Bachelor sits down with her.
She's part of the family. And I think they thought
it's because of that, she wasn't going to be a
real journalist. Know, Rachel rolled up her sleeves and she
dug deep and she asked the real questions. These photographs
(05:10):
are awful that only from two years ago. Now, my
sources tell me one of the reasons Chris and the
show we're defending this. This this young lady is that
I'm not going to give a spoiler away, but will
say my sources tell me she goes very far in
the process. I'm not saying, but I'm saying that she
goes very far. Maybe she's going to be part of
(05:31):
the legacy of the show because it's already finished filming,
so they know the winner. Once again, I'm giving you
a little winkier. I'm trying not to give a spoiler away,
but I think some of you know what I'm saying.
So they don't want a winner of the show to
be tired to racist comments, particularly when this is the
first black bachelor. So the show has a problem on
(05:55):
its hands. It's not only the photographs from the plantation.
She said some awful things. In the past. We've seen
Confederate flags and liking them on social media. This is
a problem for the show and it's not going away now.
If you watch the original interview that Chris Harrison did,
it's on Extra tv dot com. He's very rude to Rachel.
(06:18):
He really, really really doubles down on the contestant. And
after you dare tell a black bachelorette about this, you're
the expert, Chris Harrison, and so I think after they
watched this and it exploded, he had to issue an apology.
We've reported on this show that Chris is on a
little bit of rocky ground here. Let's remember that Dancing
(06:40):
with the Stars brought in Tyra Banks. I'm told at
ABC that maybe it's time to find a new host
from The Bachelor. So Chris, Chris, be very, very careful.
I'm glad you apologize. And I think the most important
sentence he said that really resonated for me is I
(07:00):
was ignorant, Yes, but my ignorance was racist. So ignorance,
the fact you don't know in itself is a racist
act in this day and age and everything that's going
on in the world. As a white guy, I can't
be ignorant, and if I choose to be ignorant, I'm
choosing to be racist. Yeah. I think that's a great
(07:23):
observation because it's always to me. I've noticed it's always
like a white person who is the first one to
enter the conversation about a black person being insulted about
a racial statement. And I think it's because there's an
innate sense of feeling guilt that maybe society makes white
people feel, which I don't really think it's fair either, Right,
you are not your father's sins. The sins of your
(07:45):
father's are not yours, right, So I think that's a
mistake to put that on everyone. But I think that's
why I think there's a feeling of guilt that many
white people carry around with them, and they react on
our behalf too too often, and I'm like, no, we
got those. You know, when a white person reacts on
your behalf, you know what it is because it indicates
that you're not really listening to the actual person who's
(08:07):
trying to tell you that they're the one affected. So
your commentary of how you see it is not really
as important as the person living it and telling you
how it feels to live it. So that is the difference,
and that's why it gets annoying. But again, I think
we all can learn from this, and I don't want
Chris to be, you know, canceled, And if he learned
and he can forward a message of positivity and unity,
(08:29):
that is the endgame. It might be men moving along,
Anderson Cooper is revealing that he's co parenting his little son, Wires,
who's now nine months old. Fast and his co parenting
with his ex Benjamin. They still live together. They have
a firehouse. I swear they have a firehouse in New York,
so an old fire station was in a town house
(08:52):
and it still has the pole in it. Anderson lives
and I've had friends of mine who went to his
Christmas party from CNN. Every Christmas, he has this fabulous
party at his house and he invites everyone at seeing
and not just Wolf flits around the big wigs, makeup room,
the interns, receptionists, and he lets them slide down his pole,
so to speak. That's terrible, but you know what I mean.
(09:12):
He actually has a fire pole in his house. So
him and Ben still live together. They're not a couple.
But he was talking to Ellen. He said, it's really interesting.
Ben didn't want to have children, and that's one of
the reasons they broke up. But when this little fella
came along, when Wyatt came along, he's such a good parent.
Ellen had to ask, does this mean you two are
getting back together? He said, no, that's not going to happen.
(09:33):
I love this. I love sweet you can still be
friends with an x that you can be so close
with them, you can still love each other, live together
and now baby, I'm not sure I could do that
with my ex um. Yeah, that's a tricky one. But
you know what. Listen, people, but heterosexual couples all the
(09:54):
time they care parents, right, you know, they separate and
the kids spend the one part of the week with
this pair, and it's pretty normal dynamic. If you think
about it's not that not that different. You're right, I
didn't think about it. What's going on with Samantha Jones
and sex Messaging story, Yes it is. Well, you know,
the big question was how will Samantha be written out
of Sex in the City. Well, according to HBO Max
(10:16):
Chief content Officer Casey Bloyd's, the reason will be quite simple.
Samantha simply outgrows Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda, just as in
real life, people come into your life, people leave, Bloys
told tv Line, quoting a line from the original series. Now,
friendships fade and new friendships start. So I think it's
all very indicative of the real stages, the actual stages
(10:37):
of life. He continued. They're trying to tell an honest
story about a woman in her fifties in New York,
so it should all feel someone organic and the friends
that you have when you're thirty, you may not have
when you're fifty. And Rob, I gotta tell you, I
was so against this whole Sex in the City without Samantha.
But when I read that last section of his quote,
(10:58):
you know, I thought, I'm that person. I have my
friends from New York City who were my perfect you know,
they're they were like my my brother's one in particular,
twenty years ago. I don't even know where he is now.
I have no idea, So it makes sense. I think
this might work. What do you think. It's organic, It's honest,
and I'm really disappointed with it. Let me tell you why,
because let me tell you why. I don't want the
(11:20):
truth from Sex in the City. I don't I want
this fabulous, glamorous life. I want it to be aspirational.
This is the other problem I think they're going to have.
Forgive me everybody, because I love this show and I
love Samantha. If they don't kill Samantha, we're gonna wanted
to walk into every episode. So when they if they
don't kill her in the first episode, if we're not
at a funeral, I know it sounds sick, but every
episode I'm gonna be like, oh, she might come back
(11:43):
this week, could email her like it's just gonna be.
And I'm purely selfish here, just as a viewer, not
the girls, but as a viewer. I think I think
I want a final, definitive answer to where she is.
I don't want, oh, she moved to Oklahoma. I don't
want she's still in New York City, but we're not
(12:03):
friends because as Corey as we know, it's a very small,
big city. I wanted to bump into Samantha again. I
wanted seeing where we find out why did they drift apart? Yeah? Yeah,
And I think they also are keeping it kind of
possibly open that way too, because you never know bad.
But I don't think in Contrell's coming back, you never see.
We've already started the rumor that she's coming out, not
(12:24):
coming back quickly. Before we go to break, Taylor Smith
is striking back at the people who bought her master
So remember this big drama, her master's. That means all
her old recordings, they were sold to a hedge fund
rather than being sold to her. She was very very
angry about it. Well, now she has re recorded all
(12:44):
those songs and she's putting the albums out. In fact,
the first one is released today. Now she wants you
to buy the new old recordings. That does that make
sense instead of the originals. And the way she's going
to suckle those fans in and people like you and
me is she added extra songs to the album. So
if you want these extra bonus songs from Taylor Swift,
(13:05):
which all the fans are going to want, they've got
to rebuy the very first album she ever put out,
which I think was in two thousand and eight. What
she's doing here is taking back ownership of her catalog.
It's very smart. They spent about three hundred million buying
her catalog. Now she might have made that three hundred
worthless because I don't need to buy the old hits
(13:29):
she's recorded them. It's trickery, it's trickery, but I think
I'm gonna do it. You gotta do it, You're gotta
do You're very aware of royalties and copyrights, and I
know we all want to say these artists should own everything,
but does the label they put up all the money,
should they have a percentage of you? Oh yeah, they
should have a percentage, But very often those contracts have
(13:51):
been very very not fair. Are your listeners were left?
Because my computer is running out of power? I know.
I said to my Joey, I said, please bring me
my charger. I secretly texted him while we were talking,
quick break here while you can charge, and re said, hey,
we'll be back in a moment. Welcome back to the
(14:15):
Naughty But Nisha, I'm Rob Shooter with the new freshly recharged. Yes,
and what happened to the ones? All this stuff from home? Corey,
it's so technically difficult. Were so good at gossiping and
celebrities are and doing news. I'm terrible at technical soh yeah,
you know I have a checklist from like, okay, make
sure everything is right, and I forgot to make sure
(14:36):
my charger was nearby and my computer was charged. But anyway,
here were going good. We got your Joey's first appearance
on The Naughty. But let's get to the polls. My
friend Kanye West is getting ready to tell all about
the car Dashians. This divorce is going to get ugly.
It's going to get nasty. They both have so much money,
neither one can buy each other off or shut them up,
(14:58):
So there's gonna be a fire eats over these children,
Mark my words, Should Kanye reveal all Se said? Yes,
he should when it comes to fighting for your family.
I think it's all fair in love and war. I
hope it doesn't get too nasty, but maybe they can
fix this before it even gets to that point. I
don't know if the Kardashians is that possible. No, No,
(15:20):
they love they love the spotlight, so it seems like
it would be better for them to go on and
be a big, dragged out public spectacle. I'm told to
that the timing yet, of course they are to coincide
with their final season of their reality show. Don't get
to vote on today's pool. You can go to our
Twitter page at Naughty Nice Robber. At Facebook page is
(15:40):
Naughty Gossip m Issue to check back on Monday to
hear your results. And now it's time for Nicest Day. Yes,
Katie Perry wants more children them so, according to Entertainment Tonight, Katie,
who welcomed daughter Daisy Dove Bloom with a fiancee Orlando
Bloom in August twenty, she has babies on the brain now.
(16:02):
Even though Katie is back to being busy working on
American Idol she's mentioned that motherhood has made her think
about having more children. One day, a source told the outlet.
Now to be clear, the insider clarified that Perry is
not currently pregnant. There's still no wedding plan updates, and
that conversation itself was actually stressing them out at some point,
explained the insider, who also says the pair doesn't want
(16:23):
to put any pressure on themselves concerning their marriage and
that there's been no discussion of a new wedding date
at the moment. So who knows. These two are so adorable.
I have friends who have had a baby. They just
wanted one, and then once they had their little baby,
they wanted another and another. I don't have children, but
I'm totally like that with dogs. I would have Once
(16:44):
I get a dog, I'll get another one and another,
and I could have ten. I really could. I totally
totally get it. My sources tell me she's just the great,
great mommy, and they've actually built a little nursery Idol,
So when they returned to the show after the pandemic,
Katie will be totally set up. It's adorable now and
no yes today. Kevin Hahn's personal shopper has been accused
(17:07):
of defrauding him, so his personal shopper allegedly charged over
a million dollars wow to his credit cards. That I
have a lot of questions. Now I don't have a
personal shopper, but if I did, at what point might
I notice? Yeah? Then I mean if I got to
ten thousand, would I notice? I probably noticed two hundred dollars,
(17:30):
But when you get to a million dollars mission I
would be like where my jeans? Where my T shirts?
Like that's a lot of clothes. How is to say possible?
That's pretty amazing. And I'm not sure, like, yeah, is
he not doing his own expenses? Because I noticed like
a dollar on my credit card statement. So I don't
understand what's happening with the story. But wow, Corey, I've
(17:54):
been buying some many clothes. I lost all these weight,
so I needed some new pants and some many T
shirts and stuff. And I've gotten from macys dot com.
I love it, and to deliver it right to my house.
I love it. I noticed their nearest maybe ten dollars.
That's like a million dollars. It's so bizarre. Let's have
a moment of rob trying to make your laugh or
(18:16):
giggle for twenty minutes. But we also want to do
a moment where a little bit more serious. Today's moment
of rob carry out a random act of kindness today
with no expectation of reward. Be safe in the knowledge
that one day somebody might do the same for you.
What do you think, Oh, I agree totally. And it's
(18:37):
all about giving back, right, It's all about as activity
and just giving back and being a good person period.
And don't expect anything for it, just do it. If
you do this and don't expect anything back, I promise
it will come back. When I've been kind to people
not expecting anything, My goodness, what I've received back in opportunities,
(18:59):
in love and affection has been overwhelming. I'm just thinking
about you, Corey. When we first met for a drink,
I didn't want anything. I've read some stories you did
on Instinct magazine dot com. You maybe laugh out loud.
I was like, Oh, he's adorable. You are a great writer.
You've gotta come on. Even you will say that you're
a great writer. And so I emailed you or texted
you or something and I was like, come on a
(19:20):
drink and it was me and Misty. I think Donald,
that is the whole gang was there so and I said,
when you left, I said to mister, he's going to
be part of our group. I said, I just adore him.
He fits in beautifully. And Goodness knows how much love
and kindness you've given back. So do it with that expectation,
and I promise you it will come back. Let's we'll
do a random act of kindness today. Man, Hey, that's
(19:40):
it for this week. Thank you so much for being
kind enough to listen to The Naughty but Nice with
Robin Corey Show, a production of I Heart Radio. Don't
