Speaker 1 (00:09):
Advice, sugar spice, it's time nice.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Living very low, Welcome to the your house from shoots
are and it is Wednesday, which means I different. Donnie
Meatium joins us.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
Hey, Donnie, are you know level low?
Speaker 3 (00:25):
Wednesday? Wednesday Wednesday? And oh it has it's been a week. Uh,
these riots going on and these little blockades with ice,
and it's just it's a lot and La is just like,
we're just recovering from these fires and now we have this,
and so a lot of us were just kind of
(00:46):
stuck in our houses because we're like, we don't want
to go outside, don't there's no need for.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
Us to get in the middle of something. But it's
just sad overall, just sad.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
It is sad. Hopefully for the next twenty minutes or
so that we can lift your mood, Donnie, as well
as everybody else is with some delicious celebrity gossip, a
little bit of naughty but nice reporting. Are you ready
to jump in? What time is it? My friends? It
is the story at the top of the show. So
Chris Martin is blind sighted after Dakota Johnson appears to
(01:18):
have called him an a hole. Let me explain. So
sources tell me that Chris is deeply hurt and called
off god after his ex girlfriend Dakota Johnson, they were
together about what's seven eight years, took a not so
subtle dig get him on national television. So she's out
there promoting her new movie, which is about matchmakers. So
because it is about love, because it is about matchmakers.
(01:41):
The TV host, who normally would not go there, asked questions.
They said, what she want non negotiable dating detail? What's
that one thing that is non negotiable? And she said, like,
not an a hole. Now, everybody's sort of nervously gig old.
I think people think now she's talking about Chris Martin.
(02:04):
He certainly thinks that not happy about it. I spoke
to some of Chris's friends and they said he's a
nice guy. They said he can be moody. He's a
musician that can be a little bit moody. But calling
him an a hole, that's not fair. Tricky because she
does have a movie, Donnie, she is out there promoting it,
She's going to be asked about this. Breaking up with
(02:24):
him just days before the movie was released. Maybe not
the best timing in the world. Now we know a
lot of these mainstream the Today Show, Entertainment Tonight, these
big media outlets, they tread very careful with the stars.
They don't want to upset them because they need them
to appear on their show. As Donnie, we learned a
(02:46):
long time ago, it's better to talk about people than
to them, because when you're talking about them, they don't
need to come on this show. And so our show,
we can get right to the truth. We don't have
to tread carefully when it comes to these delicate matters.
We always are a careful We're not a show, but
we always get to the truth. And so, because the
(03:06):
movie is about matchmaking, people on the Today Show a
very unusual place asked Really about her relationship with Chris
without actually asking her answer surprise everybody, but most of all,
it's surprised Chris did it surprise you don't know?
Speaker 3 (03:23):
I mean, look, here's the thing. You have to take
this with a grain. And I've actually I've interviewed Chris
a few times and he's seemed like a really lovely,
lovely guy, a little too meta for me, if you
know what I mean, Like.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
Everything, oh the world. I did this for the past.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
Okay, I get it like not everything needs a vibe
or a feeling.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
But the problem here, though, is when you break up
with somebody, When you.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
Guys break up and you're so soon, it's like it's
hard to know whether or not what you're saying is
the truth, or if what you're saying is just because
you're alone.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Or janed in the A little upset, yeah, a little upset.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
I mean you look bad.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
To be honest, yeah, I think so. Talking bad about
other people never makes the other person look bad. It
only ever really makes you look back. Think about that
the next time you want to trash somebody. Even if
what you're saying is absolutely true, it still doesn't matter.
They're not gonna look bad. You're gonna look bad. That's
the reason I don't talk smack about people, don't it.
It's not because I don't think it. It's because I'm
(04:28):
the one that looks like a fool here. But I
think she should give herself a little bit of time.
But she can't hear, don't I She's doing press. So
a few days after they broke up, after it was
Mary part Blake, she's out there doing the biggest press
in the world. She's on the Today show a little
bit sneaky of them. I'm surprised they did this. It's
normally a very very shy place. So when it comes
to ruffling celebrity feathers, that's why all the stars do
(04:50):
that show. She's never gonna be asked really tough questions
and so she was probably a little surprised by her answer,
though surprised everybody, which brings us to our whole question
of the day, I want to know your answer. Chris
Martin was blind sided by Dakota Johnson seemingly calling him
an a hole. It was a jab. Are you team Dakota?
(05:11):
Who are your team? Chris? Pego vote on our Twitter page.
I had naughty ice wrong faseball page is naughty girl,
sim and be sure Donnie to check back down my
rot here your results. Hey Donnie, what are you working on? Oh?
Speaker 3 (05:26):
These house files? They just never know when to s
there's a real housewife in New York. She claimed that
she quit. You know, She's like, no, I'm done, I quit, sweetie, Honey,
you're new you wouldn't quit anyway. But insiders are now
saying that Brent Whitfield was actually fired and she begged
(05:49):
to stay like.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
Ooh, so here's the thing.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
She knew it was over. She wanted to pretend it
was her choice, so she went to Instagram and she
did this dramatic comply everybody, Oh, I know it's time
to go girl. No, they weren't going to renew year contract.
They told you they weren't going to. So you were like, oh, okay,
let me let me, let me jump ahead of you,
which is a smart thing to do. But then don't
(06:16):
claim that you quit.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Just say it's over.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
It's over. Vague when you break up with somebody. He
didn't dump me. I dumped him.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
It was a mutual decision.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
It's a mutual with still friends. We're still best friends. No,
you're not. This is not working. They try to reboot
the New York show because it wasn't working anymore. So
it's not like Brather just threw everything away. They try
to make the show work with Lwan and Ramona, and
it just didn't work anymore, so they had no choice
but to reboot it. Unfortunately, the new cast did not
(06:47):
catch on with the audience. It's not doing very well.
I'm told, brother, we're desperately trying to recast it now.
Andy Cohen. He's not giving up on the show. And remember,
even though the show doesn't do very well in America anymore,
around the world, it's one of the operating housewives show
because everybody knows New York. Some of the housewives like,
oh see, people wouldn't know what that is in Britain.
(07:07):
In France, they just wouldn't know what that is. Everybody
knows New York. Everybody knows Beverly Hills. A lot of
people don't know Atlanta. I did not know what Atlanta was,
although I did no Gone with the Wind, which was
set in Atlanta. Fabulous, really fabulous, bong and so New
York makes brather millions of dollars, They're not going to
let it go. It is interesting, though. The first housewife
who I was friendly with, who I spoke with at
(07:29):
least once a week that got fired that I knew
was Jill Saren. I broke the story that Jill was fired,
and Jill was the person that gave it to me.
And because Jill gave me the sudry, I said, Jill,
let me do you a favor and let me say
this is mutual. Let me really soft self cover this,
let me wrap this up in a bow, and Jill,
(07:51):
to her credit, said, no, I want you to say
I'm fired because it's really empowering. Everybody has been fired.
Nobody wants to talk about it makes me more relatable.
Joe was right. I've been fired a lot, Donnie, I
have lost a lot of jobs, and I'm not ashamed
(08:11):
of saying it. The old Rob twenty years ago, Oh
my goodness, I would make up some story, some fable
of that us ending and going in a new direction. No,
say it. I was fired, to say it. Own it.
It's really really powerful. You can you can say it.
You can move on. Donnie Love, what do you think
(08:32):
about all this?
Speaker 1 (08:33):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (08:33):
Well, I mean I am very proud of me. I
have never been fired. I have never ever been fired.
I don't know what you think I would because we
worked together, say some ridiculous deck sweetie, But you have
to admit I am a good employee. I am a
(08:53):
good worker. I show up on time every time, and
I get the work, which.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Is all you need to do.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
Everybody, I say this now the job I have now.
So everybody's like, everybody wants to be noticed or they
want the.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Bosses to know. No, I want to quietly just cash
my check of tw weeks.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
Yeah, I want to do I get my works every meeting.
I love you because you just do your work and
sometimes we forget you're here.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
It's like I know, I yep, I just do that
employee that needed a prey and they're like, it's too
difficult to work with you. Just do the job. We've
all got lives outside of here. Do a good job.
But just do the job. It doesn't need to be
a ten every single week for good. Seven or an
eighty is fine with me. I would rather, in fact
(09:42):
take a five. But you didn't bother me than a ten,
and you're a nightmare. People that work with me now,
I'm quite clear. They might not be the best in
the world if you're listening low, but I enjoy them.
They're not bothering me all day long. Don't be a
friend of ours. Dylan someone we both worked for. Oh
we had a fabulous express. He used to call people
a pest. Remember that you are a perpetual pest. I
(10:05):
love that word. Don't be a pest. Do the job,
get the money, and then go and have a fabulous life.
Just don't moving along. This is quite shocking. So the
Tony Awards. You know I love theater. A lot of
people don't. I love it. I love it Tony Wards
on Sunday. Now we're finding out who got the biggest
box office bump, who made the most money all the shows?
(10:25):
So maybe Happy Ending did really well. It wouldn't. Most
tone is Whenever is the Sofi Shock Club was fabulous.
The dance in the singing Oh No. The show that
did the best is the show that leads it needs
it the least. Hamilton, so I can reveal lin Manuel
Smash Musical. They appeared on the Tony Awards. They did
a medley. It was great. But it was ten years
(10:47):
ago that Hamilton opened, so this was a celebration of
being on Broadway for a decade. They didn't win any
awards last night, so they weren't eligible. They won a
ton of awards I think ten or eleven ten years ago.
They they're still printing the money. The new shows are
a little bothered by it. The shows that are struggling
there life. Do we really need to help Hamilton of
(11:10):
all the new shows, Go and support a new show
if you can. But at the same time, Donny, they
all get the same three or four minutes sing your
best number. You got to decide what number's gonna sell
the show and come out there and do your best
number and hopefully millions of people will watch it on
CBS and then buy tickets. You have to remember the
(11:31):
Tony Awards, like all award shows, it's not really there
to celebrate the best. It's there to sell tickets. They're
promotional tools. They were created. The first award shows were
created by the studios and publicists to literally get publes
the day and sell those movies then those records. Theater
two Hamilton? Have you seen Hamilton? Are You're not much
(11:53):
of a theater fan, are you? Donny?
Speaker 3 (11:55):
You know, I do like theater. I've seen Hamilton, But
I just I don't know what.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
I just don't have the urge to see her.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
Is it because there's nobody that you find attractive in?
You like a cute boy, don't it? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (12:08):
I mean I like a Mormon or two.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
You know, I could be okay with that. I just
something that I don't want to sit there, and I
just don't want to do it. I get a lot
of anantcy.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
What is the show that you would like to see her?
Mom and Mia, you like the more fun show?
Speaker 1 (12:20):
No, I loved Wicked. Wicked was fair. I saw Share
with you, Share the musical?
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Was that?
Speaker 1 (12:25):
I saw what was that? The prom? I saw proming
you I love fat?
Speaker 3 (12:30):
Who said in front of us?
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Was it? It was Sarah Jessica Parker.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Sarah jes and we were like hell. Actually, to be honest,
and if I remember Long Night, I think she came
and said hello to me. I think she is Hello.
Carry Bradshaw, Okay, Gridly. Before we go to break, Miley
Cyrus is revealing that Disney banned her from singing Hannah
Montana songs after she left the show. They said, no,
(12:56):
you're not going to sing those songs. Now she's revealing
even more what is going on with Miley and Disney.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
Well, uh, first of now, saying that Dizzey will never
work with Miley Cyrus again, after she's spilling all of.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
The stufftal secrets.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
But here's the thing.
Speaker 3 (13:17):
Does Miley need No, she doesn't need Disney. Miley is many,
To be honest, I don't think what would Mileley be.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
I couldn't see the.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Beauty the beast. She could be played both. That's why
she's so talented. Beauty for you, for you, who would
she be? Yeah, I think you're right. Disney don't play
nice if you upset Disney. They own a b C.
So we have a lot of friends, Donny, both of
(13:48):
us who work for ABC. It's a Disney company. They
do not play nice. It's their way all the highway.
But I think you're right here, Donny. I don't think
Miley really needs them. Although if meg Markle needs Disney,
remember when she was caught at the Lion King begging
for a job. Remember that there was a hot mic
and Harry was pitching her the voice surface. Then shortly
afterwards she did voice ever.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
Ago, let me be the Robby.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
Maybe Mileish should be Scarf from the Lion King. Oh yes,
god Noragic? No, Okay, let us know what you think.
We're gonna take a quick break and we will be
right back. Welcome back to the audub and I Shami
host from Shoot Their Differend Donny me Hey, Donnie, let's
get to the polls. Was about Justin Beldoone's four hundred
(14:36):
million dollars or so tossed away gone that our question
was very cheeky but very truthful. Will this win? Taylor
swift back, So now there's no legal jeopardy. Although I
do think Justin can appeal this, and I think he
probably will, this is not the end. Do you think
this will win Taylor back? Let's have a look. Seventy
percent said no, it's very awkward now, because if Taylor
(14:58):
went back, she looks like a fair weather friend, a
friend that's only with you during the good times, not
the bad times. If I got involved in something really ugly,
a lawsuit or something, Donnie, and you're dumped me, I'm
not sure i'd even want you back after it went away.
What do you think here, Donna? Do you think Taylor
and Blake have a chance of being friends now? No?
Speaker 3 (15:18):
I think they have a chance of being cordial. Oh,
I don't think we'll see you know the same all
you know out in the abou out in Hampton, out.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
In where Taylor has a house in New.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
Hamp Rhode Island Road Island. We won't see that.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
It won't be that anymore.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
But we might.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
They might show up at the same event, and they
might smile and take a picture together.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
Maybe maybe maybe, Okay, don't forget to vote on today's poll.
Go to our Twitter page at naughty nse Rob face.
I'm sure to turn back tomorrow. So hey, your results
are now It's time for our nicest of the day.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
The nicest of the day is Justin Bieber's former manager,
Scooter bron which we never thought we would say he
was nice of the day because that Hale Taylor Swift.
I'm not gonna lie was team Taylor, yes, but yes,
I will give him credit where credit is due. He
has Justin Bieber's back, as Justin is going through a
(16:21):
lot right now. He is having some mental health struggles.
And even Haley was changed a few things in her
Instagram bio, which is a little any who, the nicest
of the day, Yeah, he's trying, you know.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
He's doing interviews and he's always asked about Justin, and
he says that he really still loves him, and even
though they don't work together anymore, he really respects him.
And he says too that they were both really young,
Justin obviously much younger when they got together, but he
now wishes that he had me more mindful of mental
health and dealing with somebody so young and working with
somebody so young, and if he could go back, he
(16:58):
would make massive changes which's just In nothing but the best.
And if Justin ever needs him, he is there for him.
So no bitterness. They're just lots and lots and lots
of love. I'm niceest the day, and now I noticed
the day. Naughty, naughty Julie Chrisly is demanding a free
haircut after jail. So sources say Julie's got a hair
(17:20):
done when she was in jail, showing a little bit gray.
Well now she's that platinum blond again. And insiders are
saying she literally asked for a comped haircut and color.
The picture was basically you, I'll take a picture, I'll
tag your salon, I'll give you some free social media.
I'm now probably the most talked about person, celebrity reality
(17:40):
star in the world. They just got a pardon, a
full pardon from President Trump. They had stole about thirty
million dollars. They do not have to pay that back.
They are out of jail and now people are throwing
money at them. And not only are people throwing money
at them, now they're getting tons of free stuff.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
The grift.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
The grift.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Reality stars have no shame.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
No zeal, shame, no friend, no shape. That's why they're
really good reality stars. I noticed of the day. Okay,
let's end with a moment of you get rub Sometimes
your worst enemy is your own memory. The thing holding
your back isn't happening anymore. It's just your memory refusing
to let go the mistake, the heartbreak, the words you
(18:30):
wish had been unsaid. Let them go. Don't let your
past rob you off your present, release it and reclaim
your power once again. Sometimes, Donna, you can do this.
Your worst enemy is your own memory. Do you hold
(18:50):
onto things that you wish had gone a different way,
or you'd said something another way? A heartbreak, a mistake.
I'm quite good at moving on. I remember what I did.
I don't give myself a free pass, but I acknowledge it.
And now I've got to think about tomorrow. How are
you about dealing with all that? Donnie?
Speaker 1 (19:07):
I wish I was better at it. I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 3 (19:09):
I sometimes I even when I try, and I really
want to move past something and I want to forget it.
Sits in the back of my head turn. I wish
it wouldn't turn. I can't help it. I'm gonna be honest.
I can't help it.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
You can't help it. You can fix it, my friend.
You will help you. We will help you. Hey, that
is it for today. Thank you so much for listening
to They're Not Even Nice with Rob and Donnie Show,
a production of Elvis that ran, and iHeart Radio don't
forget to subscribe on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcast. Wherever
you listen, leave us a review if you can. They
(19:45):
really really do help and remember all together now, let
me hear you. If you're going to be naughty, you've
got to be nice. Take care. It's not even nice.
Speaker 3 (20:00):
Strip roun
