Speaker 1 (00:12):
It's time hell and low and leve Well. Welcome to
the notat but nightsher your host Ram Shooter. It's Monday morning,
which means our dear friend Garret bog All joins us. Hey, Garrett,
are you there? Hello? Bobs?

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Have you slept?

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Are you still partying last night? From the Tony Awards?
I mean, tell me about it? Did you pull an
all nighter?

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Bob?

Speaker 1 (00:32):
You know me. Well, I'm a little sleepy today, but
I'm sleeping in a really good way because I went
out with friends. It was so much fun. I love
the Tony's, I love Broadway. So the show I thought
was great. Cynthia Revo is a host. I did not
know she had those skills. I knew she was so talented.
We know she can sing, we know she can act,
but it takes like a real personal skill somebody there.

(00:54):
It's really charming, and my goodness, she had that. So
I thought she was great. And I'm really excited too
about the award. I like the shows that weren't. I
think it's a good time for theater. What do you
see your take away at it?

Speaker 3 (01:06):
The fact that Broadway brought in over one billion dollars,
I mean let's talk about a billion dollars in Broadway shows,
most of it coming from George Clooney and Menzel Washington show,
but still Broadway brought in a billion dollars, which was awesome,
and I think it's a great spotlight on New York.

(01:27):
It's a great spotlight on the community. But also the
fact of, like they said, do you just have a
favor during the commercial breaks, google closest theater near me,
which I didn't even think about to do. And you know,
I found a few theaters that are very close to
me in Jersey, you know, even closer than Broadway, and
just the opportunity, you know, it's it's I think it

(01:48):
was summed up the best saying that the Tony community,
the Broadway community, is probably the most tight knit supportive
group out of anybody else unless sure, yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
They know each other. It's small enough that you can
know everybody in it. I'm lucky enough to be on
the sort of outside circle of it, lots of my friends.
When last night, so the big musical of the night
was Maybe Happy Ending, which is a really small, precious
music all about two robots who were coming to the
end of their life. Their batteries are running down. They

(02:20):
have been replaced by new models. I think humans can
feel a little like that too. And so a really beautiful,
beautiful story, but it is quite small. It's not a big,
flashy musical. If you want Broadway with feathers and show
girls and big numbers, go to see Death becomes another
amazing show.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Well, you know, it's funny.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
We over at the Elvis Show were there on day
one when Darren just got the script for maybe Happy Ending,
and for him to the way he described it, you
would be like, oh, that sounds like a cute show
for you.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
But then you saw it, you're like.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Holy, it was a nice Yeah, it was the underdog.
I think that's what the lovely part of that show
is is it started as something that almost didn't open.
They ran out of money during previews, nobody was buying tickets.
They nearly didn't make it to opening night, and then
it opened, got great reviews and word of mouth started.
I loved it. I loved it. I loved it. But
I do also understand if you do want a big musical,

(03:20):
because they're really expensive the tickets. If you think value
for money is show goals and dancing and sequins. Death
becomes a is there for you too? So congratulations to
all the Tony winners. I'm going to have a sleepy day,
but it was worth it. Let's jump into actually my
friends at the top of the show. So over the weekend,
Justin posted another really concerning video talking about how relationships

(03:44):
for him are transactional. He's sick of these transactional relationships.
That basically means that we have a relationship because I
do for you and you do for me, and we're
not doing for each other, then we're not really friends anymore.
I think a lot of people do have these relationships.
It's not truthful, Garrett to say we have unconditional love

(04:05):
with everybody in our lives. My employer, Helloa loa loo,
I like you very much, it's not the love of
my life. I do a great job and you pay
me money for it. That, by definition, is a transaction.
So I don't think transactional relationships are necessarily bad. They
are bad if it involves your friends, or your spouse

(04:26):
or your family. That's when I think things get difficult.
Just then it breaks my heart. What do you think
is going on here?

Speaker 2 (04:32):
You know what it is.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
It's from the fact that it's another because he got
started so young and early that he surrounded himself with
friends because that's who he thought, you know, he needed
to be around, were people that he grew up with.
Problem is, those people get comfortable, and when you get
comfortable in things, you expect things. You expect money, you
expect the perks, you expect the hey, what about me?

(04:56):
You know, so when you get to a certain point
and Justin's like, what are you doing for me? Like personally,
like are you my friend? Or are you just here
to you know, just take some money out of my
wallet every time? Why am I paying for dinner every time?

Speaker 1 (05:12):
You know?

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Why am I paying for us to go out every time?
Why am I paying for the car ride?

Speaker 1 (05:16):
You know?

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Why am I paying?

Speaker 1 (05:17):
You know?

Speaker 2 (05:18):
So I get it.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
I understand where you can only be pushed so far.
And I'm sure you deal with that too. Where you
have a friend of here or there from time to
time that you know, come around when they just want
something for free, and and they act like you're they're
your friends.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
You know I have as well.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Yeah, just Thing's partly responsible for this, though, You're right,
he did hire all his friends and he shouldn't have.
He should have hired professionals. He should have had people
around him that he wasn't closer with. They weren't friends.
You can become friendly with people you work with, but
hire the best person to do the job. It always
makes me cringe when I see celebrities hire their husband
or their wife or their girlfriend to be their manager.

(05:56):
That's not a manager. That's someone you're just paying to
do I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
You're trying to keep all the money under one roof.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
That's right, keeping it in the family. Don't do that.
Get yourself a real professional manager, because then you will
have more money coming in because they will be doing
their job. Hire a professional publicist, Hire a professional assistant.
I don't want my cousin or my aunt to be
picking up my Starbucks. No, I don't want that. I'm
very good, Garrett at keeping business relationships business. I'm friends

(06:24):
with a lot of people I work with, but I
know my inner circle. It's only about four or five people.
It's Bruce, my husband. But I have a really close
sort of circle, and they have nothing to do with
my business. I don't pay them. I'm very generous. I'm
happy to buy them a drink and a dinner, but
they're not on the payroll. Look around, Justin, and if
everybody on your payroll is not qualified, they're there because

(06:46):
they are your friends, then maybe you're the problem.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Well and you know it's interesting too looking at just
like friends like take Lebron James for instance. Lebron James
when he became he started playing sports, he hired an
agent at first, but then he fired those agents after
he got set up and he hired all his friends.
Here's the difference between Lebron James and Justin Bieber. Lebron
James allowed his friends to go out and you know,

(07:14):
become these big powerhouse agents and whatnot and marry Adele
and all those things.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Justin has. His friends didn't leave Justin.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
They just stayed with Justin for the last ten plus
god only knows how many years, and they just It's
like one thing like being married to your job. Right,
you say, don't let your job become you. Justin's friends
let Justin's life become them. So when Justin says, hey
I'm done, they don't know what to do with their life.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Well, they won't get another job either. They're not qualified.
We've been around Justin and his people not all. His
record label is amazing, although they're not really involved as
much anymore. But Justin's in a circle is a bunch
of people, and not for their own faults, like this
isn't that they just don't know what the He is
such a big star and he generates so much money.
It doesn't matter. My mom could be just In Beaber's manager, Like,

(08:06):
it doesn't matter. He's such a big star. And so
Justin here, you've got to take a little bit of responsibility.
If everybody around you is on the payroll, I dare
say you were partially responsible for that, which brings us
to our pole question. Half the day, Justin went on
a rant a game and this is not smart. Why
is he doing this on social media? If you have
problems at work or in your life, fix them, don't

(08:27):
go on social media. If your boss don't go on
social media, you're going to get fired. Don't do that.
Fix them. So our question is, does Justin need some help?
I think we know the answer. Hey, go vodes on
a tow a debated ordinized rom her Facebook page is
not and be sure to check back to mart Rawal
to hear your results. Hey, Garrett, what are you working on.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Well, let's talk about one of the most eligible bachelor's. Yes, say,
And it looks like Ryan Seacrest is getting cozying up
with a third two year old named Camille Orders, who
is an entrepreneur but used to intern.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
For one E News when Ryan was you know, at
the Helm.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Now the way the story comes across, it sounds like, oh,
you know, Ryan's just been looking. I think that you know, once,
once this Camille became an entrepreneur, she she probably reached
out to Ryan going hey, you're single, I'm single, let's
do it. I don't think it went back to the
intern days. It doesn't help. It doesn't help that they

(09:33):
were together back in the intern days. But you know,
Ryan is at that point where kind of like a
very George Clooney esque where he wants to you know,
have a family, have some kids and you know, but
but again Ryan, everyone is saying out there, which I
hope for the best form because not only is he

(09:54):
a coworker, I look up to him as well as
a kind of as a mentor. I I hope he
finds the love that he's looking for. And I told
this is this.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
Is right here in Camille Orders, as they call it,
I do too.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
It's like E. If you ever been to the E office,
it's massive. There's lots and lots of people of people. Yeah,
so you don't know them. It's like you dating somebody
at iHeart. It doesn't mean they work on the show.
It's trying to sound sole eazy, isn't it. He's dating
the intern. This is very Monica Lewinsky. He's a predator.
He's fifty years old and he's dating the intern. No,
she just happened to intern at E. I'm told they
had no interaction. When Ryan was at E. I was

(10:32):
around to a lot. I as a publicist at the time.
Ryan had his own team and he almost was like
the Howard Stern of E. He was in a separate
corner doing his own thing. He was definitely the biggest
star they've ever seen on their payroll, and so he
did his own thing, and then everybody else worked for
a We were all in like the news rooms and
running arounds too busy, which he invented, Ryan, thank you

(10:54):
very much. So they got their money as we of
Ryan's secrets. I wish him well too. And it's easy
to say because of friends because someone you know, has
had a lot of troubled relationships that they're a mess.
And we said that about George Clooney and it's not true.
It just took him a minute. Whoever thought George would
get married, have babies settled down? He did. I think
the same could happen to Ryan.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
By the way, did you see George last night with Amle?

Speaker 3 (11:18):
I mean we've got we've talked many of times on
this show that there was so much trouble. But you know,
he spoke very highly of her all across the red
carpet and they showed up and he even said too
he was he's intimidated by her when she is in
the audience at his shows.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
So I think he kind of put the exclamation point
on that question that we've been asking all throughout this
run of Broadway shows of are they together?

Speaker 1 (11:44):
You know, yeah, I'd argument was a couple of dots,
not an exclamation points. She wasn't ever opening night like
people are still he was opening night and she did it.
She didn't go and she got the children maybe a babysitter.
I hope they're fine. They have been out and about
a moll came in for the closing, and now George
is heading back to Europe where he lives with the kids.
The kids are in school, like in Paris, in France.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
I found it so interesting. So if you got to
watch a good Night, good Luck on CNN over the weekend,
George has this like Matt black hair in the show,
and he said the moment the final bow happened, he
went straight upstairs in the theater and took a flowby
to his head and went straight out to the carpet
for the for the Tonies like the second the second

(12:30):
the final bow was there.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
I thought it was so interesting that he did that.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
It's great gray hair on George. Yum yum yum. Okay,
this story it's blowing up again. Blake Lively is being
called entitled. So there's a new TikTok video out and
it's Blake in a store acting I think you could
say entitled a little rude to the store employee. She's
being what some people would say, it is a little difficult.
It fails to me as if we're piling on a

(12:53):
little bit here that Blake's Dan and we're kicking her.
But at the same time, Blake knows that we're all
talking about her. She's not a dummish. She's been in
this business a long time. If you're gonna go out
in public, knowing everybody has an iPhone, knowing everybody has
a TikTok account. If you're going to go to a
fancy store to buy a bag, be nice for twenty minutes.
In fact, be overly nice, be outrageously nice, be disgustingly nice,

(13:18):
because not only is it a very nice thing to do,
but people are watching. If Blake, if you're listening to
lower Lower, lad let me tell you something. We are
watching you at the moment like a hawk. Is it fair?
Probably not, but we are watching. It's like, if you're
get in trouble, you've gotta be on best behavior because
your mum's watching you. They're watching you. But you don't
give anybody an opportunity.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
I mean, if you know Blake, you know Ryan, you know, yes,
the stories of Blake have not been good at all
across the board.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
I've been seeing Blake.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
I'm just putting on record and given you know that
could sink me down the road. But knowing Blake, knowing Ryan,
they have this sarcastic humor just in general, you know
what I mean, and I've taken the wrong way, which,
again on a TikTok can be taken nine different ways.
Could be so misconstrued on anything like she could just

(14:07):
you could just say, how's the wagon she goes the weather? Oh,
it's so warm, but it's really cold outside. But but
but people could take something as simple as that and
be like, oh, look at Blake Lively being a diva
and say.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
You know what I mean. So it's like it's yeah,
it's hard to tell. I think we jump on the
bandwagon because everybody wants.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
To be that.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
The next uh, you know, big breaking news reporter saying, oh,
I got video of Blake being a being a bee.
But I think it's just her humor that doesn't get uh,
that doesn't go across the board as it should where
she thinks she's probably being funny, but are people there like,
I don't know she's being.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Yeah, I get it again, but you do have to
take some responsibility. When I came to America, my humor
was very British and he just didn't play here, so
it wasn't like it was that really good for me.
It made me look like not a very good person,
So I adapted. People would be like.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
Oh, I hated you when you first s be yourself.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
You are, you should be yourself, but you should also
be aware of other people's feelings. And blake at the moment.
This very dry, this very sarcastic humor. Enjoy it with Ryan,
enjoy it with your friends. Don't enjoy it when you're
on Madison Avenue because it just doesn't serve you well.
You know, if you talk to your staff in a
way that is really upsetting. Bethany Frankel has a habit
of doing this. She says things to people that rub

(15:23):
them the wrong way, and then when they get cross
with her, Bethan, it's like, you don't understand me, I
mean my sense of humor. I'm saying as it is,
you're rude. Yep, you're rude, and so blake Adapt at
the moment. Adapt. If it's so important for you to
be sarcastic to a shop assistant, then I think you've
probably not got your priorities right at the moment. Be

(15:44):
yourself with Ryan, your husband, be yourself with your friends.
But when you're out and about, if you're in an office,
you don't want to upset everybody. Okay, we're going to
take a quick break and we will be right back.
Welcome back to be naughty, real nice on your hostprob
Suit with Garrett Vergel. Hey Garrett, let's get to the
poles that are not last show we talked about. Oh

(16:04):
my goodness, it's happened to go and Garrett, whoever put
our little script together, our little un.

Speaker 3 (16:10):
And you know that theories could be true, that that
it could be those did those Diddy fans?

Speaker 1 (16:16):
Just so thank you, thank you. I've just been handed
what the pole was. On Friday show, Harry and Meghan
went to Disneyland, but they took a lot of security
and they shut down some of the rides and people
who paid all that money. It's really expensive to get
at Disneyland with your kids. They're a little bit angry.
Our question was quite simple, is this too much? You're

(16:38):
a Disneyland, it's safe. Yes, you need a security guard?
Do you need five? I don't know. Let's have a look.
Is it too much? Ohev said yes?

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Oh please, I figured that. Get out of here.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
I agree with you take it down and notch naughties.
If you're out and about, I get a security God
Beyonce has a security God, she don't have ten like
Meghan went to see Gypsy on Broadway. Far SUVs pulled up.
It was like a present shut decoy cars. I was like, Oh,
you're in Times Square. It's fine. You're gonna be f
You're a Gypsy. You're not gonna be an Oprah was there.

(17:10):
Can't why.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
I mean, you know that they've already had problems with
the NYPD and paparazzi in New York City. So I get.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
I get why they have the decoy car. So like
I get car, I get. I mean, it is Disney World,
and let's be honest. You're in Disney World with your family.
Last thing you need is everyone coming.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
Up to you going hey can I have a photo?

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Hey?

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Can I have a photo?

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Look at this?

Speaker 2 (17:32):
Look at this. You're trying to eat your turo and
have your turkey leg without being photographed, and you get
everybody up. I get it, I get it.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
Come take a picture. I'm fine if you want to
take a picture of met if you see me on
the street, take a picture. Ralph smile. Okay, don't forget
to vote on Today's Paul go to a Twitter. Nise
rob Our facebook page is Naughty Gossip ambishure to check
back to mar Raua to hear your results. And now
oh this is a good one. Now it's time for
a nicest of the day.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
Yes, well, let's talk some positive Megan Marko, you know,
there was the video last week of her and Harry dancing,
you know, while she was having contractions, you know, in
the hospital, and she just pretty much just shrugged it
off and said, I'm so excited for all the good
to come. In a new post in in her lifestyle

(18:20):
brand as ever, she said that she's all excited for
all the good things to come as she shared a
beach photo of herself in a dress running through the
ocean waves. But but the caption, of course comes after
the world the world jumped on her.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
Back and just said, you know, how how you know, cringey.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
The video was that she was dancing in the delivery
room with her husband and and coming off of the
fact that she had the security guards you know in Disneyland.
You know, it's not easy, and I think you can
attest Herrob It's not easy just being in this spart
like you know, so sometimes you just have to.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
Just let it roll right off. Your shoulders, which is
not easy, but she seems to make it look easy
by just not letting it affect her as much as
we think it might affect her.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Yeah, yeah, good for you, Megan. You look fantastic. Ignore
the haters and nice is the day? Now? I noticed
the day, Nordy Jake Tappa, So you were talking about
that George Clooney big live event on C. It was
hosted by Anderson Cooper. So before George's play ed live
from the Winter Garden Theater on C and then Anderson
Cooper had a pre show, and then after the show

(19:37):
and their Cooper was back. Guess who was missing? Jake
Tapper reading the news at the moment. Jake is upset
a lot of people. He's thrilled some, but he's upset
others with his controversial book about President Biden. My sources
are telling me George is not happy about all this.
He doesn't want the noise, he doesn't want all the drama,
and so he personally picked Anderson go to host this.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
Who has the better group, who has the better hair?

Speaker 3 (20:04):
And Anderson really silver Fox?

Speaker 1 (20:10):
I love her, My love, my love of Michael's end
with a moment of the life in front of you
is far more important than the life behind you. Yes,
you've made mistakes, you've you've been hurt, you've had chapters
that you don't really want to talk about. But here's
what matters. You're still here and your story isn't over.
So the past may have shaped you, but don't let

(20:31):
it define you. Stop staring in the rearview mirror. The
life in front of you is where your future lives.
I find this so powerful. Naughties, your best days, I
promise you are ahead of you. Hey, that is it
