Speaker 1 (00:09):
Ye, sure, it's nice. Hello and Lo, lo and love
and love and lo and lo. Hello, Welcome to the
naughty but nic show Your house from Shooter coming to
you from the UK. It's my last day in Britain.
I fly back to America later on today. Hey, thank
you everybody for just sticking with me the last couple
of days. It's been really stressful, the passing of my father,
(00:31):
the funeral, being with my mom making sure she's okay,
and now rushing back to America. We didn't have any
co hosts for the last couple of days too, because
of the time difference. It is good news and I will, hopefully,
fingers crossed, be back in New York tomorrow morning with
our dear friend Marco Lupo and then on Friday with Corey.
(00:52):
So back to normal tomorrow. Once again, thank you for
not only supporting me during this difficult time personally, but
essional leap of really supporting me too for listening to
our podcast. It gives me so much joy to see
all the people enjoying our work every single day. So
thank you, thank you, thank you. Let's jump into the show.
What time is it, my friends? It is tea time,
(01:15):
big story at the top of the show, Brad Pitt
and Justin, Jennifer's ex, both approve of her new romance,
so there's a plot twist here. Jennifer's love life is
healthier than ever, thankfully, and her exes are cheering her
on from the sidelines. When jen Hard launched her relationship
(01:36):
with her wellness pro Jim Curtis on Instagram just a
few days ago, fans swooned. We talked about it, it was
the lead story on our show. But eagle eyed observers,
let's call them that, detectives, they noticed that Justin throw
that's her ex husband. I get confused with my Justin's.
We've got the former Prime Minister of Canada, Justin thro
(02:02):
joh I think I'm pronouncing that right, and now just
In Jennifer's exit's complicated. Fingers crossed that. Thank you all,
you naughties. I see you who reach out to me
when I get it wrong. Hopefully today we get it right. Well.
In any case, her ex, Justin he liked her post instantly.
People said it was not just a tap. One insider
(02:23):
tells me one big publicist in Hollywood quote that was
a public blessing. An optics matter and Jen knows it,
but he's the shocker. Sources are telling me that Brad
is quietly thrilled too. So he's not a social media
type of guy. He does not reveal his private feelings
that much in public, and when it comes to Jen,
(02:45):
he talks directly to her, not through us, not through
social media. One Hollywood insider said, he's happy that she's
found somebody grounded, and he thinks Jim is a great
guy and he wishes her nothing, nothing but the best.
Yesterday I reported exclusively that this isn't just the fling, No,
(03:05):
this romance is the real deal. He is calm, he's private,
he's been around for months now. He offers her so
much support and so much time they spend together. These
two have totally totally connected her on a real, real level.
One longtime friend of Jen's sums it up, saying, quote,
(03:26):
she's done chasing chaos. She's choosing comfort and somehow beautifully.
Both of her ex husbands agree. Brad and Justin both
support Jen here and her brilliant new romance. We want
Jen to be happy, don't we. It is such a
testament to her and we spoke about this on yesterday's
show that Reese her one of her dearest friends, Reese Witherspoon,
(03:48):
Rees said that Jen in private, she's not needy, she's
not thinking about the past, she's not always talking a
Brad Brad Pitt. No, She's moved on with her life,
and I think it's time that we let Jen move
on to We spent so much time focused on her
and Brad and Angelina Jolie and that love try angle. Well,
(04:08):
we don't need to do that anymore. It's a brilliant
story and it was a true story. But that story
of yesterday is not true of tomorrow. Story has changed,
don't they. When people ask me, do I get my
celebrity news reporting gossip right, the answer is yes, in
the moment that I can only report on what's happening
right now. I can't know tomorrow. I don't have a
(04:33):
magic wand or a crystal ball. I can't see tomorrow.
We can always see the past, but it's about what's
happening right now, this very second. And as you know,
in your own life, stories change. Somebody that you're really
really angrier with right now, you might be back in
love with tomorrow. Somebody that you love right now, You
might fall out with tomorrow. So we're really reporting in
(04:56):
the moment, which is why when I created this podcast,
I really see on doing a daily show. I wanted
it to be seven days a week, but iHeart was like, no, no,
five days a week is what we should do. But
I wanted it to be daily. And that's why when
I've been away. I've been away for the last week
in the UK helping my mom and my dad's funeral.
(05:16):
The reason I wanted to do daily shows is if
we don't talk every day, we miss it. That's true
in life. If you don't make an effort every day,
once a week, once every five or six or night days,
then it goes by that story you miss. I find
that if I don't sit with Bruce, my husband, and
talk every day, then tomorrow we might have missed something
(05:39):
that turns out to be really important. So stay in touch, texture, friends,
texture family, give people a phone call, stay in touch.
It really really does make a difference. And we've got
Brad Pitt to thank for that advice, who is still
in touch with his ex gen from what over twenty
five years ago, which brings us to our oh question
(06:01):
half the day Brad Pitt gives Chen's new romance the
seal of approval. That's so sweet. He gives their robots
the seal of approval? Will he be invited to the wedding?
He wasn't her birthday when she turned fifty. Justin her
ex and Brad her X were both there. She is
on really good terms. Some people think it's almost a
(06:22):
little lot, but she's on great terms with Brad. She's
on great terms with Justin. Do you think Brad will
be at the wedding? Hey? Go vote on at Twitter
page at Naughty Nice rob You can also vote on
our Facebook page Naughty Gossip and be sure to check
back tomorrow. I'll be with lou Pi tomorrow in New York.
(06:43):
Check back tomorrow to hear your results. Okay, moving along,
Sherry Shepherd's former best friend and executive producer, was banned
from her Walk of Fame star so the Hollywood Boulevard
glittered for the fabulous Sherry Sheppid. I just love her.
She's so she's so funny. Her show Nan has really
turned a corner. This season's better than ever. It's just
(07:06):
joy joy Joy, and I love that she's added more
comedians to the show. It is brilliant. Well. This week
she officially joined the Walk of Fame elite. She was
surrounded by fans, camera, celebrity royalty. I see Yunissi, Nash
Tyler Perry was there too, and also the syndicated King
(07:26):
pink Ayra, Bursty and I've met Ara. He's a really
good guy. He was behind the Wendy Wendy Williams Show
and now the Sherry Shepherd Show. Really really smart, brilliant guy.
But behind all the applause, there was one gaping absence
that no one could ignore. Her once inseparable executive producer
whose name is John Murray. I think it's John or
(07:49):
John or yarn or yn or Young. I don't know
quite how to pronounce his name, but you've seen him
on the show. He was the one on the show
always trying to get the camera time, trying to get
into the photographs with Sherry. He was her best friend
and producing partner. She insisted the show hire him as
the executive producer. The executive producer is the boss. They're
(08:12):
the ones that run the show, and so it's a
very very powerful and very important position and it should
not be given to a friend. It should be given
to somebody that's qualified, and so after a few seasons,
has disappeared. He hasn't really explained why he went vanishing.
There's been a lot of rumors, a lot of speculation,
but he's not explained really where he is. But unfortunately,
(08:34):
he still is quite active on social media. I think
he wants to be a star himself. Who doesn't there's
anything wrong with that. Who doesn't want to be famous.
He's desperate to be famous. He hoped Sherry would make
him famous, and she did to a certain degree. I'd
never heard of him until that the Sherry Show, but
he's very active on social media. And just before Sherry
flew to La to get her really fabulous Walk of
(08:57):
Fame star, he was on social media teasing a quote
mystery trip and he even included California on the list
just hours before the ceremony. Subtle, I don't think so.
One Daytime executive laughs to me, it reeks of desperation. Quote.
It's like he wanted people to ask why he wasn't there,
(09:19):
but we're asking why were you not there? Tell us
the truth. It was a dream job. He doesn't have
it anymore, and a lot of people are wondering what
not one thing? Sure he was not invited to this
big event, he wouldn't have missed it. Nissi, Nash, Tyler Berry,
Sherry Shepherd, and maybe the most important person of all,
(09:39):
Irah Bursty and were all there. He's the king pin
of cindycation. John John Yarn, I don't quite know his name.
Oh not there falling out with Sherry okay, moving along.
Norah O'Donnell was ordered to quote stand down on fact
checking president. So recently sixty Minutes sat down with the President.
(10:03):
This was after he sued sixty Minutes for I think
fifteen or sixteen million dollars for editing an interview a
Kamala Harris Well. Trump's interview was edited too, and it
aired on Sunday. But now all the news about it
is coming out and a lot of people are saying
they're really shocked that Nora, who's a brilliant reporter, absolutely brilliant,
(10:26):
She's a very difficult person to work with. I know
people at CBS, but they do respect her skills as
a journalist. She barely pushed back. So multiple sources tell
me that Nora was quietly I don't know if that's
the right word, but she she was urged to dial
down confrontation. And they have a new editorial directive over there.
(10:48):
They have a new boss, Barry Weiss, who has changed THEBATA.
You're going to see massive, massive changes at CBS. No
longer than network. The Tiffany Network is what they used
to call it, the home of Walter Cronkite. I mean,
one of the most respected places in news is now
going to change. The new owners are very pro Donald Trump.
(11:08):
They're friends with Trump. Billionaires, billionaires. Feels like they're going
to run the world. Maybe they already do so, billionaires, Weld.
Laura has been told, you know, back down now. It
seems as if Trump told at least eighteen false claims.
We'll say false instead of lives will be kind here.
We're not a political show. But he insisted there was
(11:29):
no inflation. He pretended grocery prices were down. They're not.
And editors at the network at CBS noticed hands off approach.
So normally, if you're a reporter as good as Nora,
when you're interviewing somebody, When I interview a celebrity and
they don't tell the truth, they tell me a lie,
I cracked them and then we talk about that. But
(11:50):
I do say that's not true. This is what happened.
If you're interviewing Jessica Simpson and she said that she
never drank up and like, jess that's not true. And
he's the proof. You've talked about it. And so you've
got to correct people when you interview them. I'm not
saying you have to correct people in your personal life.
Often I turn a blind eye, I pretend not to
hear something. But when I'm being a reporter, I do
(12:12):
correct celebrities. And Trump's probably the biggest celebrity of them
all at the moment. So at least eighteen false claims
were made Nora this is about Nora here We're not
a political podcast. But didn't push back. She is. I'm
shocked by this. It feels like she's been handcuffed by
the new boss. This has happened to me. I've had
(12:32):
bosses not political stuff. I don't get involved in that,
but in the celebrity world, I've had bosses who said, oh,
don't talk about that, or we don't have to mention that.
I remember when Sarah Jessica Parker was doing a ton
of press for sex in the city, and certain outlets
didn't ask about Kim Cattrell. They didn't ask about that relationship.
These are friendly questions. They're not really interviews. It's like
(12:55):
a PR stunt, isn't it. So are we there to
promote the movie yes? Maybe yes? Or the album maybe yes?
Not me. I'm there to ask the real questions, the
questions you want to ask. All in politics, it's exactly
the same. When you get to sit down with somebody
very powerful, somebody very important, you want to ask really
(13:15):
tough questions, and you can do it in a polit way.
We have this all the time on red carpets. You
only have a few minutes to ask questions. Somers saying
to my staff, ask the best question. It doesn't have
to be mean. It can be naughty but nice. It
can be cheeky, but it also shouldn't be a PR question.
If I can take this off a PR release, then
why would I ask that. It always makes me laugh
(13:37):
when people say, on the red carpet, tell me about
your role in this film, how do you get into character? Honestly,
I'd rather ask what's in your bag? I'd rather want
to know what's in your fridge. Nothing bores me more
than those really soft questions. And I was shocked. I
was shocked that Nora did this, But she also doesn't
want to get fired. Times are changing. She has a
(13:59):
lot of money. You have a new boss, and when
you have a new boss, you have to play. I
guess by the new rules, or you should quit. Maybe
that's an option. Okay, quickly before we get a break
A lovely story here. Ariana Grandi and Cynthia Arrivo have
reacted to Jonathan Bailey being named the sexiest man alive.
So move over, Helmsworth. Jonathan Bailey is now the sexiest
(14:23):
man alive and people are going nuts over this, including
his co stars. Ariyada was the first to go nuts
on It's to grab really say a sexiest guy is
for ever Greenheart, said a wink hair and makeup, get
joint custody. Too handsome for daylight? He is handsome. Cynthia
(14:43):
was more private than her response for inside his tell me.
She did reach out to him, screaming with joy. Wicked
has changed so many lives, not just the cast, but
our lives too. You have changed me for good. What
a beautiful, beautiful sentiment, What a beauty beautiful thought. There's real,
real power in musicals, in theater, in film, and I'm
(15:07):
so happy so many people are embracing this. And Jonathan
now is a super super superstar. And he's also people
sexiest and may I say, nicest man alive. I know
people who have worked with him in theater in London
and throughout the years in Bridgerton and the movies he's made.
He's a class act. Everybody thinks Jonathan Bailey is not
(15:29):
only sexy but a good guy too, which, let's be honest,
really makes you sexy. Okay, We're gonna take a quick
break and I'll be right back. Welcome back to the
Naughty but Nice Shamy Haystrom Shooter. Let's get to the polls.
Do d Lashari talked about Jennifer Aniston's new romance is
way more serious than anybody thinks. Is he the one?
(15:52):
What do you think? Is he the one? Eighty six
percent said yes? Oh, wouldn't this be great? Fingers crushed?
I am with you, noughties. This is so special. Hey,
don't forget to vote on today's Poul will go to
our Twitter paget Naughty Nice rob Our facebook page is
Mordan girlsip and be sure to check back to morrow
(16:13):
to hear your results. And now it's time for and
nicest of the day. And nice is the day is
Prince William, who is convinced he can save the royal family.
So the windsor walls are still shaking from disgraced Prince Andrew,
who's still at that royal lodge. He's not gonna leave
(16:34):
that mansion, that thirty room mansion where he barely pays
any rent until the new year, so he's there still now.
It's not a good look. William has quietly decided that
he is the one who must stand up to all
this scandal. Insiders tell me he's convinced that he can
save the family. He's absolutely convinced that if he doesn't
(16:58):
do it, nobody else will. He's in Brazil at the
moment on his earth Shot Prize mission. And this isn't
just about the climate anymore. This is about rebranding the
House of Windsor. He wants the crown to mean something.
It's not just about cutting ribbons. Expect more changes when
William is king, massive changes in the monarchy. It's going
(17:23):
to be a much much smaller institution. Just the immediate
family are going to be working royals. Lots of cutting
back still all the pomp and the circumstances and the
palaces and all that stuff that we love, tourists love,
but much more in line now with other European monarchies
rather than the massive, massive organization that they have here
(17:46):
in Britain, saving the taxpayers a lot of money. William
is going to change that family. It needs to change,
It needs to change. Our nicest of the day and
now our naughty is the dayty naughty noughty we told
to her earlier, and that Nora o'donn all being told by
the new bosses at CBS to change the way she
(18:08):
interviews presidents. Well, now that new boss, Barry Weiss, is
causing chaos inside the building with her security. So Barry's
turning up at work with security guards. I'm told it
can be anywhere from two to eight security guards. They're
choking up the hallways, even the bathrooms have to be
searched before she goes in. Nobody's ever ever seen anything
(18:31):
like this scale King who's quite the diva. She is
fabulous at CBS. She doesn't have eight security marching round
a building with them and let me be honest here,
Barry must be scared of what's going on inside the building,
because I've been to CBS many, many times. It's really
hard to get in. They have security at the building,
so once you get past the entrance, once you enter
(18:54):
the building, you've already gone through security. So I'm not
quite sure why you would need it inside. Morale set
an all time learn. Lots of more layoffs are coming
and CBS is going to be unrecognizable. Okay, let's end
with a moment of rob. You're gonna rob. You gotta
rob you Rob. You don't need a perfect plan, you
(19:15):
just need to start. Perfection is procrastination dressed up like productivity.
It's not. You can spend months organizing research in color coding.
Who's not done that? Waiting for the stars to align
and still go nowhere. Success doesn't come just from planning, No, no, no,
(19:37):
It comes from taking that first step. You can plan
and plan and plan, but until you take that first step,
nothing is going to happen. The clarity you're waiting for
it shows up after you move, not before you learn.
By doing, you are just as you go, and momentum
creates answers the planning never will. So stop obsessing about
(20:02):
the blueprint. I've done that for years, and build the
first brick. Action beats perfection every single time. Start today, noughties,
start messy, start on, sure, even start scared, but just start. Hey,
that is it for today. Thank you so much for
(20:23):
listening to the Naughty but Nice with Rob and the Naughties.
