Speaker 1 (00:08):
Scalle advice for sure. It's nice hell, love and love
and low Lollo. Welcome to the Naughtyburn Nic Shaw. I'm
your host, Rob Shooter. I'm coming to you live from Birmingham,
England today. It's my father's funeral later on today and
it seems odd that I'm doing the show, but it

(00:29):
actually helps me. It helps me to keep my routine
and so we'll jump into our show today. A lot
of it was going to be the news that's happening
around the world, celebrity news, all the gossip we love
and all the celebrities. However, a bombshell has dropped in
Britain about the royals, and so today we are going
to be focusing on the Prince Andrew's scandal and everything

(00:52):
else that is about to happen. What time is it,
my friends, It is tea time. So Prince Harry is
absolutely anna king that they could strip him of his title.
Next shock waves have been slamming Montecito and insiders tell
me that Harry is spiraling. So the Duke of Sussex

(01:13):
was blindsided when Buckingham Palace abruptly announced the disgraced Prince
Andrew would no longer have his prince title reverting to
the name Andrew Mountbatton Windsor. Harry found out at the
same time as the public. He was not given a
heads up and his reaction was instant dread. He was

(01:35):
not thinking about his disgraced uncle. He was thinking about himself,
his children, his wife. A well placed source tells me quote,
his stomach dropped. He thought, like his uncle, that titles
were untouchable. Now he's not so sure. For months, Harry
has publicly downed played the importance of a royal tie,

(02:00):
but watching one are raised in real time has shook
him to his core. Behind closed doors, inside of saying
Megan is equally rattled, and that the prince and the
princess branding tied to their children. This could evaporate to
the title isn't sentimental. A top strategist told me quote

(02:21):
its leverage in every negotiation. That now, I used to
work for Princess Michael of Kent, so I've worked for
the British royal family and once a Paris is willing
to demote a blood prince, every single person should be nervous.
This is unthinkable. What has happened to Andrew? It's his

(02:42):
own folds but he thought this was his birthright. He
is the son of Queen Elizabeth the Second, and to
think that this guy, this fool, this monster wouldn't have
a royal title, it's absolutely mind blowing. While he doesn't.
And Harry should be careful too, because if they can
strip Andrew of his title, they can do Harry as well,

(03:05):
and Harry's children. So this is a bombshell today, not
just for Andrew, but certainly for Harry. Everybody's asking what
is going to be next? I think I have the
answer to some of that coming up in the show.
But this leads us to our poll of the day.
Prince Harry is in a total panic. They could strip

(03:26):
him of his title next after stripping his uncle Prince Andrew.
Or now we should just say, Andrew, can you mention
that mister Andrew, he's no longer his Royal highness? Wow? Wow? Wow?
So what do you think here? Do you think Harry
will lose his title too? Will Harry eventually be stripped

(03:46):
of his prince title too? Hey? Go vote on aur

Gossip and be sure to check back on Monday to
hear your results. So because I'm in Britain today, I'm
recording it with a different mic. I don't have my
professional setup that I have in my apartment and at
iHeart Studios in New York, so if the quality is

(04:08):
not quite as good, please bear with me. We will
be here next week. I decided that after the funeral today,
I'm going to spend a couple of days, maybe the week,
with my mom, just to help her as to being alone.
She's not been alone in seventy years, and to be
alone now, even though my sister Christine has been brilliant,
it's really heartbreaking. So I will be doing shows next week.

(04:29):
I love doing this. It helps me. Don't think I'm
a martyr here, I'm selfish. This really helps me. I
really love talking to the noughties, to my friends every
single day, and so I will. I intend. I definitely
will be doing shows next week from my spare bedroom.
From the spare bedroom in my mom's house. I was

(04:51):
gonna say my mom and dad's house. I think it's
still my mom and dad's house. My goodness. When somebody passes,
you have to learn this new way of speaking. Do
you say my dad in the past tense now I'm
going to give the eulogy today at my dad's funeral,
and I'm struggling. Do I refer to him as my dad?
Of course is my daddy, will always be my dad.

(05:12):
But in the past tense, in the present tense, I
shall figure it out. Hey, don't forget to vote, and
we will bring you your results. Aren't Monday? Okay? Moving along,
more royal news. Fergie is breaking it down, so ready
to abandon Andrew after his really ugly royal humiliation. So
Sarah Ferguson, She's no longer the Duchess, She's no longer

(05:35):
her royal Highness. She is Sarah Ferguson. That is her name.
Now she is unraveling behind closed doors after learning that
her longtime companion they still live together. People get confused.
They divorced decades ago but still live together. They are
best friends. She defends him more than anybody else. So
now that he has officially been stripped of his prince title,

(05:59):
Sarah is exploding. So while she's spent decades defending him
through scandal after scandal after scandal, insiders tell me that
this is the moment that she had feared the most.
One royal insider tells me, quote, she's shaking you. She
knows the public won't distinguish between his disgrace and her association. Well,

(06:21):
that hasn't been totally honest here, because she's not just
associated with Andrew. She's associated with Jeffrey Epstein. She emailed
him with seeing the emails, she was in contact with him.
Even after knowing who this man is was, she still
kept contact with him. She trashed him, She went on television,
she put out a statement saying that she had nothing

(06:43):
to do with him anymore, and he was an awful man,
a monster. And then guess what, a few weeks later,
she emailed him begging for forgiveness, implying that she had
been misquoted while she had not. So she's in trouble
to hear. She's terrified about clatteral damage. This is about
now her survival. They've been living together forever, but after this,

(07:06):
inside us to tell me she's actually finally ready to
make a move. She's been making phone calls and she
has been consulting with financial experts about exploring alternative housing.
So not only has Andrew lost his prince title, he's
also lost the Royal Lodge. This is a thirty room

(07:27):
mansion on the royal estate. He lives there. It is magnificent.
He has sort of an ironclad lease which has made
it very difficult to kick him out. However, Charles has
said enough is enough. He's leaving. We have served him
papers to leave the Royal Lodge. He's gonna move to Norfolk.
Sandrington is where the royals spend a lot of their time.

(07:49):
They have a huge estate there, acre after acre after acre,
lots and lots of homes on the estate. But the
reason he's going to Norfolk is it's a private estate.
This is owned by the king. This is not funded
by the taxpayer. This is the one of the few
royal palaces that is theirs. They don't own Buckingham Palace,

(08:10):
we do the country do. They can't sell Windsor Castle,
but they do own Sandrington. And that's why they're going
to pop him there because the King will pay. All
is expensive. The king now stuck with him. He's gonna
have to pay for his brother who has zero income.
There is no one that's going to hire him now,
and very few people hired him before. People gave him money,

(08:31):
Shady people to try and win favor with the royals,
but all that has gone now, so he's going to
live renfree in a beautiful home on his brother's private
estate in Norfolk. So it's not too boo, who is it. However, Fergie,
she don't want to move there. She's not going to Norfolk.
She is not yet willing to give up her London life,

(08:52):
and so she is looking for a new place to
live up to now. She's refused to abandon Andrew yet
this is the moment where anybody who is tied to
Andrew is now radioactive, including Fergie. So after decades of
unwaiving loyalty, Fergie may finally be preparing to leave his

(09:14):
life to walk away permanently. It's not just Fergie. They
do have two children together, Beatrice and Eugenie, who I
am told are in tears, absolutely sobbing. So Princess Beatrice
and Eugenie. They are keeping their titles. So William's very
close to Beatrice and Eugenie and they've done nothing wrong.

(09:35):
They really are guilty by association. Sarah is not. Sarah
was a co conspirator. She was with Andrew Jeffrey Epstein
all the way. The children not so much, but they're
still quietly crumbling. Sources are saying that the sisters they
had no warning either that their father's prince title would
be raised, and the emotional fallout has been brutal for them.

(09:57):
One close friend tells me Beatrice so she's terrified of
losing access and influence and everything she was born into.
The stigma now attached to being disgraced Andrew's children, it's
going to follow them everywhere. Invitations have already pretty much vanished.
Charities that they used to partner with no longer want them.

(10:18):
Business conversations have ended mid sentence, As one society insider
told me quote, it's like a curtain dropped. People don't
want the association. Eugenie is now a mother, and she
feels for her son, August, who could carry the same stain.
Friends say she has nightmares about future schoolyard cruelty and

(10:41):
whispered judgments against her son. And staff have confirmed that
late night family crisis meetings have been going on, Frantic
calls with advisors and conflicting advice from advisers who don't
know how far William is going to go here. Insiders
tell me that in the royal world, old reputation is everything.

(11:02):
And now Andrew's daughters are going to be soft targets too.
What began as the downfall of their father has become
a generational threat, and the sisters are terrified that there's
no escape routes, not just for them but for their children.
This is very, very serious being associated with Andrew and

(11:23):
Jeffrey Epstein. That doesn't go away. That is with you
for ever. Now Andrew's friends are pushing back. They're not
going to give up quite yet without a fight, saying
that Queen Elizabeth, his mummy, would never have allowed this
to happen, the unthinkable, It is an unthinkable betrayal of
her legacy. Senior courtiers are whispering what nobody dares say
out loud. Queen Elizabeth I would be horrified that her

(11:46):
beloved son, her favorite son, has been stripped of the
titles he was born with. For decades, she was a
staunch defender of the monarchy's mystique and a protector of
her troubled son. Behind the palace walls, a long time
made tells me Queen Elizabeth believe the titles were sacred.
Removing one from a blood prince would be unthinkable. The

(12:11):
late queen famously held the institution together through war, divorce,
and death. But insiders say this moment a royal son
being demoted in her absence, This represents the collapse in
values she thought to preserve. Let's remember she believed that
God made her the queen. This was a God given right.

(12:35):
Her son was her son because God wanted it this way.
God wanted Charles to become king. God wanted Andrew to
be a prince. And to change that thinking is something
that Queen Elizabeth probably would not have been able to do.
So we can here feel her absence right now because
this would not have happened had she still been around.

(12:57):
Now everything is up for reen she ation, and one
insider tells me this is the most symbolic damage to
royal tradition since Princess Diana's death. If Queen Elizabeth were alive,
this would not be happening. She loved him, he was
her son. She might have stripped him of some of

(13:18):
his titles, and she might have tried to remove him
from public life, but she never ever stripped him of
his prince title, which once again she believes is a
gift from God. This is going against her own faith
she's the head of the Church of England and so
this for her would have been a step too far.

(13:41):
And Andrew's people, Andrew's few friends, are willing to point
this out very very loudly, okay, quickly, before we get
a break. They're now calling Prince William king William the sixth.
That's right, So they're saying, the official reign of the
new king has already started. He is running the monarchy

(14:01):
from the shadows. And Andrew just felt the full force
of his iron hand. Multiple insiders confirm that the Heir
Prince William personally approved of removing Andrew's prince title, and
he greenlit Buckingham Palace's sharking announcement without any hesitation. Staff

(14:23):
say every syllable, every syllable of the statement carried William's fingerprints.
One royal insider says, quote, this was fast, brutal, deliberate,
and very William. William wanted no debate, no appeals, no loopholes.
He pushed this through. Now those close to King Charles
are trying to make make us believe that this was
all King Charles, that he's in charge. MI insiders tell me,

(14:45):
and I think the most reliable insiders tell me that
is just not the case. William is now king. The
reign of William the six has unofficially begun, and so
William was very very much behind this. As one insiders said, quote,
Charles may still wear the crown, but courtiers insist that
William is calling the sharks. Another ads that William believes

(15:10):
the Monkey must be ruthlessly clean, and Andrew's scandals are
poison to the brand, and William has no patience for this.
He also has no patience to wait to be ky. Okay,
We're going to take a quick break and we will
be right back. Welcome back to the Order, the nice Showman,
hairstrom Shooter. It's just us today. Nor tis our dear

(15:32):
friend Cory. Andrew is in America fastest leap right now
while I am recording this, we are four or five
hours ahead. It's normally five hours, but for some reason,
for the next couple of weeks, because of how they
change the clock the schedules here in Britain, it's just
four hours, so it's the wee hours of the morning.
So Cory, when you wake up a lower, lower low.
There is no poll from yesterday. But don't forget to

(15:54):
vote on today's poll, go to our Twitter page at
naughteen nice Ramp our Facebook page has noready got and
be sure to check back on Monday to hear your results.
And now it's time for our Nicest of the Day.
And nicest of the day is the hero who toppled
a prince. Virginia Geoffrey had the courage to change history,

(16:16):
move over royal tradition. The true power now belongs with
an American woman who refused to be silenced. We can
reveal the Palace insiders are privately acknowledging that Virginia is
the single reason Prince Andrew has finally been stripped of
his prince title. Not an investigation, not a committee, not

(16:37):
the Parliament, not the King, but her courage inside to
say quote, she stood up to one of the most
powerful families on earth. Without her bravery, Andrew would still
be untouchable and nicest of the day. And now our
naughty is of the day, naughty, noughdy Nordy. Andrew is
digging in, refusing to take one shred of blame. So

(17:01):
Andrew has still not apologized. He's still saying this never happened.
He's still defiant and this is just not working for him.
So behind the gates at the Royal Lodge, where he
still is, sources describe him as a man raging, pacing
and rewriting history. He is furious. He insists that he's
a victim here, not Virginia but him, And this is

(17:24):
media persecution, this is jealous people in the family, this
is shifting the politics within the palace. He genuinely believes
he did nothing wrong. There's no reflection, no remorse, just anger,
which is part of the big problem. And nautiust of
the day, let's end with a moment of rub. You

(17:44):
get a rub, You're gonna get rubb rub. But for
fifteen twenty minutes, we love doing all the celebrity gossip.
But for a minute, a moment which is a little
bit more deep, Today's moment of rob. The scariest part
of pursuing your goals isn't starting, it's continue when nothing
is working. Anyone can be excited on day one. Motivation

(18:06):
is high and the vision is clear, and the dreams
they feel electric. But then the results are slower, the
progress feels invisible, and the doubts get louder. That's the
moment when Most people quit, not because they don't want it,
but because the silence between effort and reward it is terrifying.

(18:27):
But he's the truth. That silence, that frustration, that uncertain middle.
That's where greatness is built. That's where discipline is formed,
and that's where you learn to rely on commitment instead
of hype. The universe tests you before it rewards you.
It wants to know if you are serious, and the

(18:49):
only way to prove it is to keep going when
everything feels pointless. Anyone can start, but few will persist, persist, persist,
persist because ours when it's quiet, when it's slower, when
it looks like nothing is happening, you gotta keep going
because that's when everything is happening. Hey, that is it

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant.
