Speaker 1 (00:09):
Advice shooter.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
It's time. Hell no, no, no, Welcome to the naughty
but nice sham, your hestim shooter. And it is Monday,
which means our dear friend Garrett Vogel joins us. Hey, Garrett,
are you there? Hey, babes, how are you babes?
Speaker 3 (00:26):
You know it is it is Halloween week here in
uh in the world, and uh you know, I'm excited.
We got we got some ghouls and goblins and some candy.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
What's your favorite candor, op shooter.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
I like these things called Rece's pieces.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Is that Oh, you said it very correctly. That's the
the the correct pronunciation of it. And and with with
the British accent, it's easily said to say Rece's pieces.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
But not the case. Not the case.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
I already discovered them quite recently and I was quite
addicted to them. But happy halleweo, and everybody be safe,
have a wonderful, wonderful time. I'm flying off to London tomorrow,
so I'm gonna be doing shows from the UK. I'm
gonna get in a Tuesday show tomorrow morning and then
maybe Donnie with the time difference, and then Thursday Friday
I'll do solo shows and I shall be back the
(01:16):
following week. Okay, let's jump into our show. What time
is it? My Friends? And is tea time? So big
news over the weekend. Katy Perry and just In Tradu Trudeau.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
I think it's true, Dough, Is it true Trudeau?
Speaker 2 (01:28):
True Trudeau? Their new romance is now official. They were
spotted hand in hand in Paris celebrating her forty first
birthday in the City of Love. They were really cute together.
They left this legendary crazy horse cabaret, so they went
to see a cabaret show. They left holding hands. They
knew the paparazzi at the photographers were outside, and they're
(01:49):
sick of hiding it. Now we knew about it, We've
seen them kissing on it. Now they are official. A
little bit of exclusive reporting here. Do you want to
know how they got together? They seemed such an unlikely pair.
Lauren Sanchez, I'm told Jeff Bezon says, wife hooks them up.
If you remember that, that's what she does, a matchmaker, matchmaker,
(02:11):
so reasoningly, if you remember, Katie was on Lauren's rocket,
So they became really really good friends when they went
to space for what was it ten seconds together? And
because of her money, her husband's money, she knows Prime Minister,
she knows world leaders, and so it was all her
address book. I was trying to figure out, Katie has
an amazing life, she has an amazing address book. But
(02:33):
where's the connections? Where can I connect the dots between
Justine and Katie. I'm told it was the Sanchezes Bezoses,
who are pretty good friends to have as matchmakers.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
I guess I wonder how it is like just in
that celebrity world. Like you know, when when you and
I we were like, oh, we have a friend, they
should meet the other friend, and like it's kind of
like awkward, and like, I mean, I can't envision celebrities
hooking each other up, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
It happens a lot. It does happen a lot. That's
why celebrities hook up with other celebrities. And I do
think it's interesting how do you find somebody? The world
has changed so much since when we were dating, Garrett,
you and me now are no longer stumbling into bars
and meeting cute people. I think it's now all online.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
A lot of money stumbling into bars, which is stumbling
into bars exactly.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
I think that my younger friends they all meet on apps,
on dating sites, some maybe even little bit naughtier sites
than that. But when your children grow up, I think
the idea of going to a bar or a dance
or a club and meeting somebody probably isn't the way
most people are going to meet Garrett.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
No, you need a billionaire friend, you.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Need a billionaire friend, you need you know, you do
meet people in the cirtle that you that you are
part of. And so I met Bruce because I got
a part time job in Edinburgh at the theater and
it dragged me into the theater community.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
If you were sure, I could not imagine.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Ice creams vanilla cho That's how I met Bruce, and
not necessarily selling ice creams. But there was a bar
next door, and after the show all the ushes used
to go to this bar and the creative typestum. And
so you do meet people from the environments of the
world that you keep. And so Lauren Sanchez she knows
Katie Perry, she knows a former prime minister, and so
(04:21):
I hear that's how they hooked up. But nevertheless, it's
cute to see them together. I'm glad. The guessing is over.
Were they on? Were they off? There?
Speaker 1 (04:28):
Do you think Tom Brady was in the running because
he's in that group.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
She's got his number two? Can you imagine her address book?
Speaker 3 (04:35):
Well, just the fact that that Lauren Sanchez literally could
just like scroll like she's on Instagram, in her in
her contacts on her iPhone and come up with a
celebrity go, Katie, what do you guarantee she did this?
Because she got close your eyes, close your eyes and stop,
Justin Trudeau.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
She could have been on Tom Brady's.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
The address I've nosed to the address book of some
rich and famous people. Not but occasionally I've seen them
in their diaries and I've been like, oh, they've been
on their phones. I've been like, oh my goodness, they
have Oprahs the But I was like that she could
be dead in Gale for all raisins. I like it.
(05:14):
I like that they're a couple, which brings us to
our pole question of the day. Do you like these
two as a couple? Justin and Katy Perry official with
their new romance. Do you like them as a couple?
They're very good looking together. The picture of them looks
really really great. He's got that power, that political sort
of substance, and she's got that pop princess diva queen
(05:38):
look about her. I think they look great together. But
what do you think, Naughtie's Do you like these two
as a couple? Go vote on our Twitter page at
Naughty Nice rob Our facebook page is Naughty Gossip and
be sure to check back to Amarrouter here your results.
Hey Garrett, what are you working on?
Speaker 3 (05:55):
Well, you know, people are lining up in case they
need a lawyer, and this this certain person is very
famous and I don't know if I would do this
per se, But apparently Kim Kardashian has a list of
clients and she's not officially she's passed the bar, but
she's not like an attorney yet, and she has people
wanting to have her represent them, which it's like the
(06:17):
modern day Elwood's Reese Witherspoon representing you in court.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
You know, so she passed, now she won't be able.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
To She hasn't officially passed it a little bit here,
she took the test, but we don't know the results
until a few weeks.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
Well, correct, But if people are lining up, I have
a feeling they think they know the results.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
Telling everybody that she's gonna be a lawyer in two weeks.
I love the confidence. I think this is very important
to have confidence. But you have got to pass the test. Kim.
You've got two more weeks. November seventh is when she
finds out. I'm sure she has. She's She's really worked
hard at this, Kim. It's easy to dismiss her behind
the scenes that I'm told she she really had to
sit down.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
She actually done some great stuff.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
She did well.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
She's been an advocate, and she's helped a prison reform
and people coming out of prison and people are being
pardoned from prison for wrongfully accused.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
So she is a very.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
Good advocate, and it would be I would love to
see how she represents someone in court, you know, like
we see her as the business woman, we see her
as the reality show person, but as an actual lawyer.
Would I would love to see how she works in court,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Pa more serious than people think. Whenever I've met Kim.
She's not the goofy Kim you see on reality TV.
That's definitely part of her personality, but she's actually quite
a serious person. And don't forget Her dad was the
legendary lawyer Robert Kardashian, who was a j Simpson's defense lawyer.
So this is in her DNA. She knows how to
do that. She has been working on prison reform since
(07:51):
I think about twenty eighteen, and so I'm told she
has a line of people. I'd love to have Kim
if I get in trouble, Kim. If you're listening, a
lover a lower, I'm gonna call Kim Kardashian. I think
she's much more serious than what people think. Jessica Simpson
was like that. When I worked with Jessica, it was
so easy to think she was a ditsy blonde, which
was the image that she really actually put out there.
(08:13):
She likes people to think that she wasn't. Jessica was
deeply serious. And you don't get to run a billion
dollar company unless you really really have the brains to
back up this operation. And so we know Kim's success
is extraordinary. Her next her next chapter a lawyer, and
already people are lining up. Best off. Look, okay, moving along.
Johnny Depp is back with the Pirates. So it hasn't
(08:35):
been announced officially yet, but my sources tell me that
Jack Sparrow is sailing back into our lives. It has
been signed, The deal is signed. It's happening. Johnny's back
with Disney. The producer Jerry Buckheimer, big big deal. He
reportedly broke it a truce, assuming that both sides would
want to sit down and get this right. They finally did.
(08:56):
Johnny has read the new script and loved it. Disney
is really excited about him. They call it get a
soft reboot, which means they are going to relaunch the franchise,
but they're not going to change the Spider Man around
or the new characters. It's gonna still be Johnny. I
love him as Jack Sparrow. He makes me laugh like
how campy he is. Now? Is there some debate to
(09:18):
be had about his redemption arc. Let's remember he was
charged with abuse. He was found ultimately innocent of that,
and now it took a while. It took a little
bit of a while. You can rehabilitate yourself. So know
this in life, if you step away for a moment,
if you step away, if you let people calm down,
(09:39):
if you let the noise die down a little bit,
you can come back. I think America is very very forgiving.
They do like to give people second chances and someone
they love a comeback. So I think that this might
be one of the biggest biggest pirates of all time.
What do you think?
Speaker 3 (09:57):
And I think Disney needs this because they've been kind
of taking it on the chin per se with all
their superhero movies. So this is a different type of
big franchise movie that doesn't involve superpowers. It involves you know,
someone on the quote unquote normal side that's a pirate
that kind of is mystical and magical, but still doesn't
(10:18):
have that like superpower that can fly or knockover buildings.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
And so why we got bored of those moves for
a minute.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
It was over saturation, over saturated.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Iron Man and then the Avengers and then another one
and Captain America.
Speaker 3 (10:31):
If Captain Jack Sparrow shows up in the next Avengers movie,
we will have a problem.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
His special power is how norble how actually una fantastic.
Speaker 1 (10:42):
Yeah, he has a super character.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
He falls over, he's clumsy, he's campy, and he is back. Okay,
moving along, there's trouble within the Jackson family. You'd think
they would all be very very happy with the estate
bringing in so much money. But no they're not.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
Well, you know, Michael's daughter, Paris Jackson, has launched a
legal battle against the estate. Now now it's not it's
not like the Famili's running the estate, right, It's it's
like a group of people that run the estate.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
Yeah, two really smart, separate businessmen, one called Branca and
the other one the Clay And they've ran it since
since Michael died.
Speaker 3 (11:17):
Yeah, and so Paris is accusing them of mishandling.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
The fortune pretty much.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
And Michael, I mean wealthy is not even a word
like he was probably I would say, you know, very
very wealthy. Not Bezos wealthy, but I mean up there,
you know, it probably would be top ten in wealth.
So Paris, I mean she's doing she's doing right by
her dad, she feels. And insiders are saying that, you know,
(11:43):
relatives blindsided from this and Michael's five hundred million debt
into three into a three million dollar empire that you
know pretty much saved the family's name. And now Paris
pretty much just you know, saying, you know, thrown it
all against the wall.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
And she's received.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
Now, Paris has already received sixty five million for her fight.
But it's it's it's not cash, by the way, but
the family insiders aren't buying it. And it's interesting that.
You know, Paris, I think is not to say the
most normal, but I think she's the one that represents
her dad to the best of their ability over the
(12:22):
over the years, you know what I mean, She's the
one that pretty much is trying to, you know, make
sure her dad doesn't get ruined in. Everybody else trying
to go for a money grab. This isn't Paris, go
and give me the money. This is her protecting her
dad's name and making sure it's going to the right
places and not just random people.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
I think she believes that, but I think the money
is really going to the kids here. Paris made sixty
five million dollars from this is state. And let's remember
when the dad died, he was five hundred million in debt,
million in debt. They've turned that round into a three
billion dollar empire. I say, these guys are doing a really,
really good job. So in Paris, careful, careful what you
(13:02):
wish for. Okay, quickly, before we get a break. Alison
Janney said that she worked with an impossible co star
who's no longer with us. A lot of people have
been guessing who this if she said it to Andy
Cohen and what's what happens live these sort of these
hints really really have legs. They don't disappear because everybody
guesses who was it?
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Who was it?
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Inside of say to me that it most likely was
Matthew Perry.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Oh wow.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
So she worked with Matthew Perry in twenty eleven on
a sitcom that didn't work very well, Mister Sunshine. It
was only on for a short period. At the time,
Matthew was in a really bad state. Now we know
how bad Matthew's drug addiction his demons actually were, So
I don't think Alison Janny is necessarily trusting him as
a person here. This is more about how difficult the
(13:48):
whole experience was. If ever, you've worked with somebody addicted
to drugs, with substance abuse, or just had a friend,
it's really difficult. It's really really difficult. And I think
that's what she was talking about there. But it is
a name that was floating around. I hit the phone.
She is not confirmed it yet. I don't think she will.
She's old schools, she's classy and he's really great at
(14:10):
getting information out of celebrities that they otherwise probably wouldn't give.
But she did say.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
It's from you, thank you very much.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
But she did say she would never work with this
person again, and she couldn't because they were no longer
with us. So I think a lot of sleuths out
there looked at all the people that Alison Janney had
worked with and saw who was deceased, who is no
longer with us, And the name at the top, the
person that I keep hearing is Matthew Perry, which sounds
shocking because we love him. He's what we want to
(14:37):
believe is a good guy. But we have to be
honest too. Drugs are really ugly, and people that are
addicted often are erradic. They do things that they wouldn't
normally do. We can give them a lot of leeway here,
but it's when you've got to work with somebody five
days a week. You know how difficult it is working
with people in your office, with your company, with your life.
(14:57):
Can you imagine having to turn up at work? Might
you'd be like working with Charlie.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
She and you never know, you never know what you're gonna.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
Get and don't know what you're gonna get. Okay, we
know what we're gonna get. We're gonna get a quick break,
and we will be right back. Welcome back to the
naughtyven Aijah Mayes. Wrong, Hey, Garrett, let's get to the
polls lash. We talked about Kristin Bell refusing to apologize.
She would not apologize for the silly comments she joked.
(15:25):
I don't think she meant them. Really it was domestic abuse.
Domestic violence comments she mentioned about her husband wanting to
kill her. She thought it was funny. It didn't land.
It wasn't funny. Had she said sorry, I think it
would have just gone away. She won't. She's not gonna
say she's sorry for this. Right or wrong. Let's have
a look. Oh, seventy percent said wrong. You should just apologize.
(15:46):
I've said some really dumb things, and I say some
really quick apologies when you say something stupid. I hate
this at the moment, Garret that if you apologize, it's
thought of as weak. Never apologize seems to be this
trade end of the moment, and I don't like it.
I think so sorry when I make mistakes, and I
make them.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
All the words to say a time.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
Sorry, it didn't mean it. I'm sorry she ain't gonna
say it. Hey, don't forget to vote on today's Paul
gonna have Twitter page. I had naughty nice Rob facebook
page is naughty gossip and be sure to check out tomorrow.
Here your results and now I love this one. Now
it's time for the nicest of the day.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
So it seems like both of these two people have
a type. Okay, Sophie Turner and Chris Martin quietly dating.
Oh now both both have recently broken up, and we
know Sophie Turner is a divorce from Joe Jonas. Chris
Martin also at one time dated Dakota Johnson for a
very long time.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
Paged exactly so.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
But sources are saying that they had a secret date
in London, probably somewhere you've been before, Rob.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Shut I'm just saying.
Speaker 3 (16:59):
And you know they clicked instantly and Chris finds are
hilarious and grounded. Sophie always had a little soft spot
for musicians, as we could tell. And we know and
you know this goes back to twenty twenty when Chris
surprised Sophie with a birthday message on Joe Joe Jonas's
show Cup of Joe, So they know they know each other,
(17:21):
and you know, sources are saying they went to the
Soho house. Very unlikely duo, but they couldn't stop laughing
from from people that witness the two together. And it'll
be interesting to see how this plays out.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
With them durable. It's just the first eight they're not
together yet. It's like everybody just because they're famous, just
because you go for one drink with somebody or one.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Remember when that happened to us.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
I mean we should have followed, we should have texted.
We could be a couple of knife. We've followed up.
You got to follow up. You've got a text. They're
both busy, so we could all just fizzle out here.
And that happens a lot, doesn't it. You go out
for a drink with somebody and then it just just
fizzles away. It takes a lot of effort. Whether it's
a friendship or a romantic relationship, it does take an effort.
And of them are very, very, very very busy. And
(18:02):
let's remember she got to get around Gwyneth Paltrow. We
still involved in Chris's lives. So when I was going
to have to approve this one.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
Imagine, imagine those those child swaps, like on the weekends.
Speaker 1 (18:13):
It's like Joe's in the car and Sophie's going.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
You know, it's wild, isn't it. I wish them the best.
They are so cute and nice. Is there now and
no notice there? Naughty? Naughty, naughty, Jennifer Lopez says, dumped
Kiss of a Spider Woman. So this movie absolutely bombed.
In three weeks, It's done less than two million dollars.
In the first week, he did less than a million dollars.
She was meant to go to the Savannah Film Festival.
She's dropped out. Now in her defense, they were meant
(18:39):
to scream Kiss of a Spider Woman. They've decided not
to screen that. Then she was going to get an award,
and now she's not gonna do it. This is typical
Jennifer when when Jennifer, when things did not go well,
Jennifer cuts, she gets out. She doesn't get caught in
the shrap. I think, Julie. I think of different movies
she's made. I think of even relationships she's had. When
the going gets tough, Jennifer gets going and naughty of
(19:02):
the day let's end with a moment of Rob rub
A Rob. People are powerless without your reaction. Remember that
not everybody who pushes your buttons deserves the show. Some
people thrive and drama. They feed off your energy. The
moment you stop reacting, you take back your power. Your
piece is your responsibility. Nobody else is yours. The world
(19:26):
will always test your patience. Goodness knows it will. But
you don't have to give everybody access to your emotions.
The most powerful move you can make is staying calm
when somebody expects you to lose it. That is not weakness.
That is being a master. Hey, that is its th today.
(19:50):
Thank you so much for listening, so they're not even
nice with Rob and Garrett shere a production of iHeartRadio
and Elvis Durant. Thank you everybody who has brought a
pre order of my book.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
It's number seventy.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
It started with a whisper. If you go to Amazon,
type and Rob Shooter, it will pop up. You don't
get it till April, so I do get it. Ordering
a book now and not getting it to April. A
lot of people are like, oh wait, please, don't it
really helps me? Do order? If you do it now.
It just helps me with the elgorithm, and then in
April you'll forget about it and you'll get a lovely
little surprise on your doorstep. Eighteen ninety nine. Please do
(20:26):
it if you can, don't forget to subscribe on the
iHeartRadio app, Apple podcast wherever, Yeah listen, leave us a
review if you can. They really do help. And remember altogether.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Now here we go.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
If you're going to be, you got to me.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
It's not even nice with Ram
