Speaker 1 (00:08):
Advices, Welcome to the Naughty but Nice Shout. It's Friday.
I'm Rob Shooter on Friday. A friend, Corey Andrew from
Instinct Magazine dot com joins us, Corey, are you there?
I am here, Darling. Hello, Happy Friday, Happy Friday. Another
(00:30):
week of full of gossip and scandal and treats. It's
nearly over, but don't worry. We've still got a little
beaten more. So let's jump and hey, my friends, what
time is it? It is time? So high Corey Okay.
At the top of the show, a big exclusive, Kelly
(00:50):
Ripper can finally see what life would look like without
hosting live. So Kelly has been absent from the show
this week. I'm told she's going to be off for
two weeks on vacation, a much deserved vacation, and friends
are now telling me that she can actually see the day,
the day when she never returns at all. So does
(01:12):
this tell me? The following quote? There were no formal
announcements made about Kelly's break, but she's actually taken a
two week vacation, something that she's been doing actually for
the past two decades. So don't all get excited about that.
She normally does it at this time of year because
on March it's a handsome husband, Mark. Oh, he's so cute.
It's Mark's birthday this year, he turns fifty. Happy Birthday, Mark,
(01:35):
So she's planning a big party for Mark and the family.
Although there's something different about this break. Source This go
on to say that for the first time ever, Kelly
can actually see life post live. She loves the show,
she loves Ryan Seacrest and their team together, but there's
lots of other things she wants to do in her
life and it's not possible to do those while you
(01:57):
were committed to doing a live show from New York
City every morning. With Mark turning fifty and the kids
growing up, Kelly is looking towards the next chapter of
her life and what she has that we don't, Corey,
it's tons and tons of money. So I think if
we all had all this money, we could leave our
jobs and go and pursue our other dreams. Most of
us don't have that chance, that opportunity because you have
(02:19):
to pay the bills. So she's really really lucky that
she's not in that case. She could leave her job
and never work again, and she would be just fine.
I think if you've got the opportunity, if you've got
the means to do it, and you want to explore
different paths, why not. I think this is a great idea.
What do you think call? Yeah, Well, you know, Kelly
grew up really like near my hometown and she was
(02:42):
on a local dance show and she was like sixteen
like so and I told her that when I met her,
we laughed about it. And so for her to have
come from that to the soap operas to this multimillion
dollar mogul, yeah, it's time. And she's young enough to
enjoy the money. It's time for her to go, Hey,
I'm going to just go enjoy some of what I've done.
I haven't done a big thing. I'm very successful, So
I think she should. I told two that's like, unlike
(03:04):
those housewives, you know who you are. She's not that
thirsty about the fame. She's had it now for decades.
She's very secure in who she is. I'm told her
that Kelly really misses acting. So she did soap operas
for a really really long time, and she's been playing
herself now for over a decade on TV. But she
misses playing characters, and she wants to get back into acting.
(03:25):
She has the means to do it. And this is
all a lovely story. This is not a scandalous story.
She's not been kicked out, nobody's been asked to leave
their job. She's thinking about it, though, and I think
that would be a lovely position for us all to
be in. I'm really lucky. I love doing what I do.
So I think if I hit the lottery, if my
ship actually came in down the Hudson River and I
(03:45):
was rich, Rich, Rich, Rich Rich, I think I'd still
continue doing this show. I love doing this show. I
like my silly little gossip website, so I'm not sure
I would give it up. But also too, I'm not
sure this is the same time commitment that Kelly is.
We always look at show and we think, oh, it's
only an hour. It's done ever so quickly. She's done
by ten eleven in the morning and has a whole day.
(04:06):
It's not true being on a TV show myself for
a short period of time, which was only a half
hour show and nowhere near as successful as her. Oh
my gosh, it takes a whole day to put together
the show and advertisers and all the meetings you have
to go. So so I do understand what she is
up to, which brings us to our whole question of
the day, Kelly Ripper can see life without hosting live?
(04:28):
Will you watch the show if Kelly left? Yes, we'll know.
Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nicer at
Facebook page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to check
back on Monday to hear your results. Corey Love, what
are you working on? Yes? Well, another Kelly news Kelly
Clarkson doesn't plan to remarry after divorce. So Kelly Clarkson
(04:49):
revealed that she has no plans to get married again
after her difficult divorce from Brandon black Stock. Clarkson filed
for divorce from black Stock in June, setting irreconcilable differences
after a seven years of marriage. So since marrying in
two thousand thirteen, the couple has had two children together.
There's daughter River who's six years old, and son Yeah
adorable and son Raymonton Alexander, who's four. Now. Speaking to
(05:12):
Gwyneth Paltrow, Kelly said, I can't even imagine doing it again.
So that's amazing that you found love and that you
found the space and vulnerability. Paltrow responded by noting, you know,
the remarrying was probably the hardest thing I've ever done.
So despite believing that she won't ever walk down the
aisle again, Clarkson leaned into her guests advice regarding lessons
(05:33):
to be learned about oneself following a divorce. It's almost
like you start dating yourself, like you actually make time
for you again. And I love dating me, Kelly explained.
I'm actually not even looking for it, so I can
just hear her saying that, you know, and that's that
saucy voice, but Rob, you know, it's it's true that
I think after a breakup, whether it be divorced or
(05:53):
just relationship, don't you agree that you need time to
sort of like take some time for yourself. I hear it.
I do. I'm a hopeless maybe I'm a hopeful romantic.
That's a nicer way of putting it. I'm a hopeful
romantic and I love love. I've been with Bruce now
over twenty years, and I can't imagine being married to
(06:15):
anybody but Bruce. So I do understand what Kelly is
saying here. I think the next stage of my life
and we do have stages in our lives. Is I
think I'll end up with you and ms D and
Donnie like the Golden Girls in the Bungalow in Florida
the Cheesecake. Yes, I'm not sure that I see myself
(06:35):
ever married to anybody else, but I certainly I don't
know if I want to rule that out. What about you,
Corey when you think about love and your future? And
I'm not wishing any breakups on anybody here, but life happens, things,
things happen unexpectedly. Could you see yourself being able to
marry again? No? In fact, I told my mom like,
(06:56):
if it's not if Joe and I broke up, like
I'm going to become like I don't a monk or
something like enter the priesthood or something. I'm done because
I mean, Joe is Joe is really my He's the
love of my life. He's really right, twenty years, twenty
years as well beautiful anybody else. It's very tricky, isn't it.
I was talking to Kathy Lee about this after Frank died,
her husband. They were together for a long time. Kathy
(07:18):
Lee has been on some dates, but nobody that's serious.
Nobody has really lit up her life in the way
Frank did. And she told me after the love of
her life, she loved him, and forget all the rumors
and all the stuff that we've heard about their relationship
to Kathie, Lee was the love of her life. And
I think that makes it awfully difficult to ever move on.
(07:38):
Sir Kelly, we do understand what you're saying. Hey, Sarah
Gilbert dropped a bombshell. She was on The Drew Barrymore
Show and she admitted that the first lady she ever
kissed was Drew Barry So they were both in a
movie together, Poison Ivory. Have you ever seen this movie?
It they kiss on screen, so they decided to prack
(08:00):
tists off screen behind the scenes to do their research.
Gilbert was like, it's a hard life being that actress.
Although she said it she thought Drew was the coolest
person she had ever ever met, and she said that
was her first kiss. Now, although this was work related,
I get it, it's slightly different. Can you remember your
(08:21):
first kiss? I can. Mine was a guy called Craig Smith,
and the first girl I have a kiss was Anna,
who played the clarinet in our school band. You remember
their names. Oh my gosh, no, I don't even remember.
I mean I probably was terrible at it whenever it happens,
But I don't know if I got any better. I
(08:44):
know I'm not the best kisser. It's terrible. What's going
off with Sharon Stone? Talk about sexy? What she us?
And I love Sharon Stone. Sharon Stone is defending actors
who have meltdowns. So Sharon Stone defended actors who have
on set blow ups, and she explains actors need their
own space to get into their emotional places for their
characters when their characters need to deliver a certain scene,
(09:07):
which often means funding, privacy, or a distraction from the
chaos of a working set. So that's when she actually
noted that she understands why celebrities will sometimes snap on
set when they're asked to juggle too many things at once,
like Christian Bail, you remember, infamously had a meltdown on
set that was linked online. And then, of course more recently,
(09:27):
Tom Cruise was a subject of a recent meltdown league
although I will say that one was more like a
heated Yeah, he was sort of upset that people weren't
wearing masks so I wouldn't really classify that one in there. However, Yeah,
they have these meltdowns and rob you. I think that
people just need to realize that these are people who
are at work right. Actors are at their job, and
we have blow ups at our jobs, so they're no different. Really,
(09:50):
what do you think about that? I don't like it
at all. I don't. I get so bored of this
troubled artists dialogue narrative that these wonderful, amazing, creative people
Percasso like sort of artists are allowed to behave terribly
and I just don't buy it. I'm married to a songwriter,
(10:12):
a successful songwriter. I didn't tolerate that. When he's working,
he goes to the studio and he works, and if
he comes out the studio and he's mean to me
over dinner, I tell him off. I've got a job too,
and I don't. I don't. I don't buy it. I
just don't buy it. It's a job, are we allowed
to say? The cops and fire men are allowed to
be nasty because their job is really important. That's basically
(10:32):
that's a life and death job. To Factors can be
moody to get into their job. What do we forgive
people with really important jobs to do. If the person
in the grocery store that we've all found out now
are essential, they really are. Are they allowed to get
nasty and blow ups? No, I'm quite professional, as sloppy
as I am as a human being. The Corey you've
seen me at Bottino is having a drink too many.
(10:53):
I mean, I love a sloppy life, but when it
comes to my work life, I'm actually chronic, put together,
and I think you get paid for a job, you
should do it very well. And I just don't tolerate it,
even from superstars, like I think there's no excuse for
Mariah Carey being rude. Like, don't get me wrong, I
do love all the diva dumb and it gives me
a little bit of a giggle, But I'm not actually
seen her or heard of her being outright vile. You know,
(11:17):
I worked for p Diddy and everybody thinks did he's
a diva. He was so professional to me. We never
had a fight. We had disagreement, but he never did
what Tom Cruise did or Christian Bale. When I worked
with Jlo, everyone says Jlo is a diva. She's tough.
She's not my best friend, and she's not warm and fuzzy,
but she never was vile. She would send a sharp
text or a sharp email if you upset her or
(11:39):
did something she didn't like, but she didn't just blow
up and swear and use the F word. So maybe
I don't know. What do you think? So? I know
you're an artist? Is it? Is it an excuse? So
what do you think? Are you? But you're not a
mean No? No, no. I love that you actually brought
it back to like are the other jobs that are
really relevant too? So I agree with you. Like I
as a person, I just don't conduct myself that way,
(12:01):
and I try to always sort of keep an even
keel and be respectful only until someone crosses me your
the way, I have to react that way. But otherwise, Yeah,
I don't really blow up. And I think I'm anything
special because I can sing. I don't even think that
way at all, right, And I think the most successful artists,
the ones that the most secure in their own talents,
(12:21):
in their own work, are actually quite mellow. They know
their process and if you need a quiet place to
get into a character, I understand that you've got a
dressing room, find a closet. I don't. I don't tolerate it,
and I don't tolerate it from people that work with me.
Around me. You've got to be Barbara Streisan type talented
(12:44):
to that. Yeah, yeah, I could find another Lady Gaga,
for give me. Gaga, I love you. I can find
another Ariana Grandy, I love you too. I can find
twelve Justin Bieber's. But the only person that I might
forgive is like a Stephen song Time type, Aretha Franklin.
If she's rude to me, I'd say a wreath, a girl,
(13:06):
you deserve it. You're the greatest of the great. They
wouldn't do, they wouldn't. They're two good at people. Okay, quickly,
before we go to break. Now we've now we've settled
that you should listen to us. You're terrible, Tom Cruise Christian.
So now we thought that as Jessica Simpson doesn't expect
an apology from John Mayer. Oh this is wild. So
(13:28):
we bread this story first. But after Jessica's book came
out last year, we said John would not respond. He
has not well since then. Justin timber Lake issues an
apology to Britney spear, so just in sort of change
the rules here. When you treated somebody an X or
somebody you worked with terribly, he didn't ignore it. He
actually put out an apology. So Jessica was asked, now
(13:49):
that her book is coming out in paperback, she's added
a few chapters to it, she's updated it, does she
expect an apology from John Mayer who treated her terribly?
I worked for Jessica when she was dating John. I
can confirm John was horrific, messed with her emotions, would
text here, would email her, would not show up, would
(14:09):
be rude. He was just the all around worst boyfriend
you can never imagine at a time in Jessica's life
when she was really vulnerable. So I'm team Jesse here
all the way. And I saw it. I didn't read
the book. I was there, I watched it. Everything Jesse
has said about John is truly in fact, I think
Jessica's being kind. I think John was worse than Jessica
has made out. So does she expect an apology from him?
(14:32):
She said no, she doesn't, and she doesn't even know
if he would take it back. He hasn't apologized. Do
you think John needs to say something Corey. Well, you know,
I was at Sony b MG when he first came out.
We worked on his marketing and he was such a
sweet guy. But I guess he needed the record label to,
you know, to do things. But yeah, I think he
(14:53):
needs to if he really was as horrible as you
guys are sort of insinuating good to Jesse, he said,
it's not a senior to have said it. Well, yeah,
you said it's it's factual. Yeah, So you know he
needs to own it because this is not the error
for a man to not own his past and discretions
with misogyny. He needs to get it together immediate. Absolutely.
Jesse went on to say, too, I love this. She
(15:14):
said that she's a very forgiving person and at that
time in my life I was very manipulated, and also
she felt like she was very in love. I'm so
glad she's come out the other end of this. Just
great team, Jessica. Hey, let's take a quick break and
we will be all right back. Welcome back to the
(15:34):
Naughty but Nice Show. I'm rob shooting with our friend
Corey Andrew. Hey, Cory, let's get to the pole. Best
sound effects from you, Corey. I hope you're singing a
long at home. So yesterday we had a great exclusive
that Kate Middleton and Mega Markel have still not spoken
post that big bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview. Who will pick
(15:56):
up the phone first? Who's going to call her? So
you know what it's like when you fall out with
a friend or a family member, who calls first? Like
if you've upset somebody, you know, you stand off, you
don't want to do it, but one of your has
to make the move. Who's going to pick up the
phone first? Said Kate. I think I agree with the majority.
I think Kate will call Megan. Megan's too busy calling
(16:18):
Oprah and Gail. Kate she call it? What do you
think kat o Megan? I think it's going to be Kato,
Sean Megan don't have time, but most busy, busy, busy,
don't forget To vote on today's poll, you can go
to our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob Our facebook
page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to check back
on Monday to hear your results. And now it's time
(16:41):
for Other Day. What you did? They're showing your active
jumpy each week. It's gonna get high until only dolphins
can hear me. Believe me? But yeah, So, a second
image of Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana has emerged. Production
(17:05):
on Spencer, starring Kristin Stewart as Lady Die has moved
to the UK for the final stretch of filming. The
production has today released a second image of Stewart as
the former Princess Now. The film focuses on one weekend
in the life of Princess Diana as she spends the
Christmas holiday with the Royal family. As she spends the
Christmas Holiday with the Royal family at the San Drinham
(17:26):
estate And Noah, folk, did I say that right round?
You got it? Thank you? And she decides to leave
her marriage to Prince Charles. So filming has been taking
place in Germany before moving to the UK and and
autumn release is anticipated in marks the anniversary of Diana's death. Wow,
(17:46):
So you know I love Christen Stewart. I interviewed her
for Charlie's Angels Premier and all that, and she has
a very similar vulnerability to later Die. She does. She's
very vulnerable, you know, protective, and I think she's going
to do a great job with this. I was unsure
about this. The pictures up on Naughty Gossip dot Com,
our website, Naughty Gossip dot Com. She looks incredible, but
it's not just the look, it's the essence. It's the sensibility.
(18:09):
She's got that shy die, the way she looks up,
those big puppy eyes. Oh, I can't wait for this.
Check out the picture and now it's time for our
Naughtious to the day. Hey, Chrissy Teagan has confirmed that
she has quit Twitter. So after ten years have basically
been the mayor of Twitter. It made her, helped make
(18:30):
her into a megastar, She's had enough. She said the
platform no longer serves her with as much positivity as
it gives her negativity. So she said goodbye. She had
thirty million followers, and she said it's absolutely not Twitter's fault.
She's come to understand that she hates letting people down
or upsetting people, and she feels like she did it
(18:50):
over and over again. Twitter made her feel like that,
so it's better to just get away from it. You're
not going to change Twitter is what it is. We
can all try and be a little nicer, but you've
got to say facts at some point. She also added
to that she feels like a different human being now
than when she started, so she's saying goodbye to it. Hey, Chrissy,
we are going to miss you. Goodbye, my friend. And
(19:12):
now it's time for a moment of rob. You get rob.
This is quite deep today, so let's go through it slowly.
You deserve to be in a relationship where you feel
safe to say uncomfortable things. So you deserve to be
in a relationship with everybody, including yourself, where you can
say uncomfortable things. I'm quite good at this. I didn't
(19:33):
used to be. I always wanted to please everybody, including myself.
So sometimes when I really felt something, I just wouldn't
say because I didn't want to upset anybody. It was uncomfortable,
it made me feel strange. Now I can say it,
and hopefully I do it in a naughty but nice way.
Hopefully I'm cheeky about it. But if you upset my
feelings now, I don't pretend otherwise. I'll let you know
in a nice way. I don't go full Tom Cruise here,
(19:55):
but I do say out that hurt. And I also
to have got really good as saying it to myself.
When I let myself down, I can look in the
mirror and say that wasn't right, Rob. And it's uncomfortable,
it's awkward, but I deserve that relationship. Yes, I agree.
I think It's been easier for me to do that
with other people than it has been with myself. So
(20:15):
now I'm finally able to do the same thing with me.
I can say, you know what, Corey, that wasn't the
best decision, learn from it, and next time we're going
to do it this way right. So it's about learning
and moving on and doing better, and we all all
deserve it, all us naughties. Hey, that's it for this week. Corey,
thank you so much. We love having you every Friday,
(20:36):
and thank you for listening to The Naughty but Nice
with Rob and Corey Show, a production of I Heart Radio.
Don't forget to subscribe on the I Heart Radio app
Apple podcast. Wherever you listen, leave us a review if
you can. They really do help. And remember, let's say
this altogether. If you're going to be naughty everyone, it's
(21:00):
not even nice with Bro
