Speaker 1 (00:14):
Welcome to the Naughty but Nice. I'm your house stop Shooter,
and it is Friday, which means I dear friend Cory
Andrews joining us. Hey, Cory, are you there?
Speaker 2 (00:22):
I am here. Happy Friday, everyone.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
Happy Friday, Darling. Did you have a fun week? What
were you up to? Oh?
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Gosh, well, we know what. Mostly working and I'm working
on my personal projects. Hey, you know, I've got some
book ideas that I've been working on and just really
sort of like avoiding politics because it's just so much.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
Yeah, it's too much. In our house. We used to
watch news a lot in our house. I like being
up to speed, I like knowing what's going on in
the world. I like international news cabridge. But all we've
been watching is black and white movies on Turner Classic Movies.
It's been naturally kind of a fabulous week. We've watched
touched great with some really old fantastic movies, classics like
(01:04):
Classic Blanker, A Star is Born. Oh, we had a
really great week of TV. But now we've got a
great twenty minutes or so of celebrity gossip. What time
is it? My friends? It is big story. At the
top of the show, Kim Kardashian has deleted her son's
Saints YouTube channel. Let me explain. So Kim pulled the
(01:24):
plug on her son Saints West's YouTube channel. It was
the Goat Saints. Well that's a bold name, but God
bless him, he's only eighty years old. Now. He posted
a few controversial videos. They were political in nature, and
Kim did not like this, And now the account is
unavailable and has been scrubbed of the following uploads. So
(01:49):
a source reveals that one of the videos that has
disappeared was a cartoon about one of the political candidates,
and it was rude and vulgar and just not a
really nice thing to say. Now, you can argue celebrities
definitely can and do have their views about politics. We
try to stay away from it on this show. But
the question here is eight years old, and saying something
(02:13):
like that at eight, whether it be about a politician
or anybody, is just not the behavior that Kim wants
from her children. I know that you all think, oh,
Kim Kardashian, well, she's so sexy, she's so cheeky, she's
so edgy. Yes, you were right, but she also too
is a fantastic mom and she knows that because of
(02:36):
her fame, anything her kids say or do will be
on the Internet forever, and she just wants to protect
them a little bit, not only from the world, but themselves.
We've all said dumb things when we're eight and nine
years old. Thankfully, Corey, you and me grew up before
the Internet, and you imagine some of the things we
might have said and our seven or eight that would
last forever, particularly if your mom was as famous as Kim.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
See that's what's funny about that, because I thought about
when I was a kid, I couldn't just buy any music.
For example, in the story my mom heard, I used
to be a big fan of the group Berlin, and
Berlin says the B word in one of their songs,
Wonder Big Hits, and my mom heard it, and from
that day forward she had to know every piece of
music that I bought into the house because she knew.
So I'm trying to understand the level of scrutiny that
(03:23):
was either not present with Kim and this channel. He's
eight years old, so how was she not monitoring what
he was already uploaded to your channels?
Speaker 1 (03:34):
That so, Kim has said that she is okay with
them being on social media, but she does draw a lion,
and she made it very clear that if that line
was crossed, everything would be deleted. So her kids too
are on Twitter, They're Onsta TikTok and doing silly, funny videos.
(03:54):
Dancing with your friends is one thing. Calling somebody a name,
whether they're a politician or not, that just matter. We
just don't do name calling. It in the Kardashian house. Now,
that's right, really wild, considering who their father is. But
maybe that's why Kim is so careful because she knows
what their dad has said, she knows some of the
awful things he has done, and so she's very, very
(04:18):
careful with her kids. Eight years old, I asked my
sources do they have cell phones? And my Kim insider said,
North does, but the other children do not. Yet. You
have to get to ten before Kim. It's really interesting.
I never try to tell anybody how to parent their children.
I'm not a parent, but I do really admire this.
(04:39):
I think when I was growing up, the rules were
the rules, and they were made quite clear, and as
long as I lived in that house, my mom and
dad's house, I had to play by my mom and
Dad's rules, and if their rules were no name calling,
then I have to sort of obey it. Plus, let's
be honest, big picture here, the greater, the greater good.
We can all agree calling. Nay, oh stop it. I
(05:01):
hate Oh.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Yeah, it's so juvenile, you know, it's silly. And of
course we see a lot of that going on as
we talked about the latest political stuff. It's just overwhelming.
But I will say, I'll just go back one more
thing to the Kim Kardashian thing. I find it just
a little peculiar that at eight years old, she's not monitoring,
monitoring what he is uploading.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Right.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
I love that he's there and he's able to do
with that at eight years old and be on the
channel on the platforms, But there seems to be a
need for supervision before it hits.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Oh that's a good rule in your house. You can.
You can make your videos, right, but hit live before
posts stem me. That's actually yeah, because they are so
famous that the minute they hit post, they don't get
a second chance. Write something that's a little controversial. And
I've done it. I've had moments where I'm really passionate,
(05:51):
whether it be about a celebrity or a sports figure
or something when I get really pasted the Olympics. I
was really into the Olympics. Yeah yeah, And then ten
minutes later I'd be like, you know, that isn't such
a nice thing to say, and I can delete it
and nobody knows because they don't care about it.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
Well, you have a following, a little.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
Bit of a one, but I'm not Kim Kardashian. If
you're Kim or a kid, a child of Kim's, it's
scream grabbed and it's really immediately forever. It really is
there forever. So that might be a really good step, Cory,
before you post Kim, if you're listening, hell, before you listen,
before you post show mommy, and mom will say she's tough.
(06:28):
You know. I've seen her with the kids, and it
makes me giggle a little bit because you don't. She
looks so fabulous and tight clothes and the boobs and
the bum and the hair, and then you see her
be really strict, tut that down. You sit there and
you be quiet, you behave Yeah, it's wild while to see,
which brings us to our pole question of the day.
Kim Kardashian has deleted her son's YouTube channel after he
(06:53):
posted something there was very controversial. A question is should
Kim allow him to post anything else or is it over?
Is it time at completely? Or should should monitor it
very carefully? What do you think? Go vote on our
Twitter page. I had Naughty Knights Rob on our Facebook page,
which is naughty gossip and be sure to check back
(07:15):
on Monday to hear your results. Hey Corey Love, what
are you working on? Yes?
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Yes, yes, Well I'm interested to get your take on
this after I share it. So there's going to be
no more royal titles given to Meghan, Marko and Harry
and Prince Harry as we call him so. Scott Moore,
who's a new CEO of the Invictus Games Vancouver, he
shared exclusive details at the protocol he was given for
meeting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex earlier this year.
(07:40):
Now gone are the formal royal titles. He was instructed
to address Meghan simply as ma'am and Prince Harry as sir.
Now this change is a big departure from the traditional
royal etiquet Rob of which you're familiar. I'm sure when
you refer to them as your royal Royal high Highness, Yes,
and that would be the custom. And so now stepping
back from the royal duties, Megan and Harry have continued
(08:03):
to redefine their public image and they're shredding his or
her royal highness titles and they're trying to embrace a
more simpler, down to earth approach. Now, I'm always sensitive
to this because Rob, I know that's a part of
your heritage growing up, so I'm always sensitive to that.
So I want to ask you what you think about this,
because I feel that it seems really antiquated today. That
(08:24):
kind of terminology. It may have made sense in a
different world, but now with the sort of social consciousness
we have today and this idea that no human is
above the other, despite status or wealth, it just seems
really really antiquated and almost I hate to say this,
but I don't know the term. I don't want to
say silly, but it seems just misplaced in the modern
(08:47):
world to address any human that way, despite their status.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
But what do you think of that? Yeah, I'm a royalist.
I love the royal family, so I'm okay with you.
I do understand what you're saying. Corey. I'm the older
I grow and the more I want the word world
to become a place where we're all treated the same.
And there's obviously different outcomes in life and people have
different goals, but they were born into this family, So
(09:11):
to just be given a title without any work whatsoever,
it's a lot, But I think I do like it.
So hr H. If you've heard that said, it's always
on the news hr H. What that means is his
or her royal highness. So if it's a man, it's
his royal highness, a woman her royal highness. If I
(09:32):
met Queen Elizabeth, make she rest in peace, I definitely
would say her royal Highness. But what interests me here
is that Harry and Meghan didn't lose their HRH titles
when they pulled out of the family. They decided they
just wouldn't use them. So they still technically are hr H,
(09:52):
but they just don't use them. If you're the son
of a king, you get the hr H title automatically
default to remove a lot, but I think they all
agreed they wouldn't use it. What surprised me here though,
is that Harry and Meghan seem to want it a
little bit both ways, because mom, which rhymes with spam,
(10:13):
that's how you remember it. Mom, Marm, and sir are
still titles around nobility. I would rather Harry and Meghan
tell everybody when you meet them at the Invictor's Games
or anywhere else. You know how you address us. You
call her Meghan and you call me Harry. Just go.
I would get rid of all these titles if I
(10:34):
was Harry and Meghan. To your point, Corey, they think
it's antiquated, they think it's old fashioned, they think it's
rooted in something not very pleasant. If I was Harry
and Meghan, I would say, you know what, do you
know what? What? Call me? My name is Harry. It's
like if you meet somebody and you're over forty and
someone calls you sir or mister. Shoot, my name's Rob,
(10:56):
and I tell people call me Rob. And I think,
Harry and Meghan your skill, your future success is going
to be like becoming the rest of us, fitting in
being these royals who we see ourselves in. And I
would say, if you're listening, Carry and Meghan in a
love lolo, get rid of marm, which is a really
(11:16):
old fashioned world. It sounds like an old lady. Doesn't
Mom and sir no call me Harry and Megan. What
do you think about that?
Speaker 2 (11:27):
I think that makes sense. It reminds me though, of
stories I would hear about Diana too. I mean, Diana
was quite fine being called Diana.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
Yes, well, she lost her title. They took her title
off of but she was not a blood relative. She
married into the family, so it's quite easy. Oh, I
get rid of the hr H title too, somebody who's
not a royal. But if I've got royal blood in
my veins, which Harry certainly does have, it's harder. So
he still has the title, he just doesn't use it. Okay,
Moving along. I love this story. Sel Mahia is married
(11:56):
to a billionaire, but she admits she still has pressure
to earn money, so she wants to make her own fortune.
She's fifty eight years old, and she's determined more than
ever to earn her own income, even though she's married
to a billionaire. She opened up in a recent story
in The Wall Street Journal, revealing that her husband and
(12:16):
her do not have a prenup. When they got married,
they did not have a prenup, but they do keep
their finances strictly separate, and she said, quote, I have
pressure to make a certain amount of money, so they
live very, very large. Obviously he can afford it, and
she's a really successful person too, she can afford it too.
(12:38):
She'll never make the sort of money that he's made,
but not as an actress, that's for sure, but she
does make a good living. I like this. I married
somebody who has a lot more money than I do.
I will never make the money that Bruce has made
or is still still making. However, I do like having
my own money. I like earning my own own money,
(13:00):
and I have a baseline. It's not as much as
some people might think of how much money I need
to earn a to pay my own way. And I
make that and I'm really happy about that. It makes
my life, at least for me, much more, much more simple.
I like Bruce not paying for everything. I like playing
my own way. Where are you on this core If
it's too personal, let me know, no.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
No, I think it's a really great conversation because so
many times couples are you know, finances can be the
root of how they survived. I don't talk about it,
they don't, they don't, but I'm in the same situation
whereas you know, you know, in my home, Joey makes
much more than I do in a different field completely,
And but I pay my own way, and I went
(13:43):
to college to make something of myself so that I
would have my own means to make my own living.
And you know, believe me, I don't mind him taking
the check though, Honey, I don't mind him grabbing a check.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
I don't mind.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Exactly if he didn't, I don't expect it he didn't.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
I could also pick up the shot. Yeah, I try
to pick up the checks on the weekends, So on
Friday and Saturday and Sunday. I tried to be It's expensive.
I know. I never scheduled good week a month. You
can tell. You can tell that if I go to
a good restaurant, it's on a Wednesday, not on a Friday.
Bruce knows exactly what I'm up to. Okay, quickly before
(14:21):
we go to break another really disturbing allegation against Diddy,
this time from somebody who's related to someone very famous,
tell me what's going on.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
Yeah, so actually ties to Glorius is John Legend's manager,
and she's breaking her silence about an encounter she had
on one of Diddy's infamous yacht parties. So it used
to have them every New Year's Eve in Saint Bart's.
So apparently she was on this yacht party and she
had a situation where she caused terrifying where there was
an unidentified man at the party who locked her in
(14:51):
a bedroom and she was not able to leave, And
she says she believes it was her quick thinking that
got her out of it. Now, this thinking that she
talked about was she pretended her brother was nearby somewhere
on the yacht, and ultimately that made the man a
bit more cautious and let her go. But now with Comb's,
you know, facing you serious sex trafficking charges, she is
(15:11):
telling the story and she says there's time for a
fresh start in the music industry, and she's emphasizing that
her experience was not just an isolated incident, but a
symptom of a deeper issue in the business. And listen,
I will tell you really quickly here. I had a
situation with one of the biggest boy band managers I
can't say the name, that literally in a hotel room.
(15:33):
I thought I was going to a meeting and It
was at their suite and he comes to the door
with a robe and nothing on underneath. I was like,
twenty two. I was looking for the big record deal.
So this is I mean, I experienced a level of
this in my own life.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
Yeah, this manager, I'm glad you're speaking at because it's
not a one off. This is part of the culture.
I went with Bruce, my husband's in the music business,
and I went with my husband to a big executive's house.
He was having a HIGs party and he gave me
oohin and Ara and the house was amazing. I was like,
oh my god, this house, it's amazing. He said, let
me give you a tour, and I'm so nosey. I
was like, oh, I love to. And when we went
(16:07):
into his office, he closed the door behind me and
grabbed my bottom. If my husband in the living room, goodness,
it's gross. Okay, we're going to take a quick break
and come back. It's much morning. Nice new Yeah, welcome
back to Nordy b Nicer. We'll host Rob Shooda with
my dear friend Cory Andrew. Hey, Corey, let's get to
(16:28):
the polls that Shua we talked about Channing Tatum and
Zoe Kravitz calling off their engagement. They were together for
three years. Are you surprised? Seventy percent of yes, you
thought these two were the real deal. They really seemed
to be that way. They were always gushing over each other,
over over over. Too bad. Hey, don't forget to vote
on today's pole. Go to add Twitter page at Naughty
(16:49):
Knights rob or a Facebook page which is Naughty Nauseam
and be shure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
And now, oh, it's time for a nice of the door.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
Yes, well, this is a nice, really sweet story. And
Sean Mindees has been in the press quite a bit
lately over relationships and sexuality conversations. But anyway, he is
saying that his ex Kamilica Bio is still his closest
best friend. He denies there's any bad blood between them.
You know, they did have a breakup, and so it
was a highly publicized breakup, but they dated for two
(17:22):
years before calling it quits in November twenty twenty one.
But he shared in a recent New York Times interview
that they've stayed very close despite the public speculation that
they're feuding. He says, I get frustrated when people think
we're against each other in a weird way, he explained,
emphasizing that she remains someone he trusts and will always
confide in. So I think that's a great story.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
I like it. There's going to be some big news
in the next couple of weeks on Sean. I'm told
he's dating again. He has somebody in his life, and
that's why he's talking about his sexuality because the story's
going to come out.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
Yes, it's kind of nowhere.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
Yeah. After what happens is that you either make a
huge change in your own life or the tabloids find
out something about and it's better for you to tell
your story than anybody else. And so look at it's
a nice story. There's nothing bad here. It's actually a
really really good thing. I hope he's found love. I
really really do. Okay, let's do and Notice of the
Day Travis Kelsey. Travis is boasting that he's never had
(18:16):
a dry spell in the bedroom. So on his podcast
New Heights that I do listen to, it's very funny.
Somebody a fan asked about rekindling intimacy with his wife,
and Travis admitted out of the blue that he's never
had any trouble in the bedroom. But I do you
(18:36):
actually give some really good advice. I think he said,
try and be a little bit romantic and try to
do things that spark romantic feelings like candles and petals
and dinners. I would argue, just be kind to one another.
That's where I think turns people on more than anything else.
But Taylor Swift's listening to you.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
We know that now we know what works.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
Taylor. Good for you too. Okay, let's have a moment
of rub you. Your choices show who you truly are
far more than your abilities. So it's not your abilities.
We've all got natural, God given abilities, great, fantastic. However,
(19:24):
it's what we choose to do with those abilities that
reveals who we truly are. It's your choice, make a choice.
I tell you all the time that every day I try,
I normally succeed, but I try to make the choice
to be happy, even if I'm a bit grumpy. I
(19:45):
woke up this morning, it's a bit rainy out, my
sinus is hurt, my allergies are not good. And I
looked in the mirror and I said, Rob Shuter, you
are the luckiest boy in the world. You were a
poor kid from Birmingham, England, and you're living in New
York City about to take a podcast with your friend
be happy. And that's the choice I made today. It's
not your abilities, my friends, it's your choices. Hey, that's
(20:06):
it love Board this week. Thank you so much for
listening to The Naughty but Nice with Rob and Corey Show,
a production of iHeartRadio. Don't forget to subscribe on the
iHeartRadio app but podcast. Wherever you listen, leave us a
review if you can. They really really do help. And
remember all together now, if you're going going to be naughty,
your god.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
It's gotta be.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
Everyone.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
It's not even nice, but of course okay, bye bye
