Speaker 1 (00:12):
It's time. Hello Loloao, Hello, welcome to the Not Even
Nice Show. I'm your hosts drump Shooter, and it is Friday,
which means our friend we've missed him. Our friend Corey
Andrew joins us. Hey Corey, are you there?

Speaker 2 (00:24):
I am here?

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Hello everyone, Hello Donald, it's been a minute. We didn't
see you last week. Technical issues and goodness, gracious, you
always sound so upset when I get those texts from you.
I hate it.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
I hate when I hate when things go wrong. I
get panicky, you know so, But thank you understanding.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
It's all good. I don't scream and shout about the challenges.
I don't. I've always been really maybe unusual. I love
a little bit of a problem. It makes the day
more exciting.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Yeah it does. But you know, you want to get
in there and do your work. And sometimes there's a
great story I'm going to cover, Like there was one
with like Don Lemon or something. I was like ready
to dig in and I couldn't do it. That morning.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
I was like, ah, so that's why you're so good
at this, because you're just so passionate. Thank you for that,
my friend. Hey, let's jump into the show. What time
is it my friends, it's tea time. A big story
at the top of the show. No royal, no member
of the royal family has reached out to Harry and
Meghan following the paparazzi car chase, So we have a
lot more about this chase later on. We were a

(01:25):
little controversial yesterday because when we wanted to do this story,
initially the story was really scary. For their spokesperson to say,
almost catastrophic. Yeah, that's something that oh my goodness, career,
I can't tell you. My phone blew up. Rosanna or
my friends in the media were like, what's going on?
We thought this was going to be Princess Diana Part two?

(01:47):
Was history going to repeat itself? And then slowly as
the day went on, the story changed quite a lot. Here,
we're being generous on this show, We're being kind. So
what I'm saying is that to Harry, it was the
truth was he was very upset about this. However, in
reality it wasn't quite as dramatic as what they made out.
Somebody told me a police source said it wasn't catastrophic.

(02:11):
It was chaotic, right, And that's actually part of being
a celebrity. I think particularly here in New York City.
I've been in cars with j Lo, with Jessica Simpson
when I worked for them, and you do get followed,
like if you get in a car and you're famous.
That's part of the life. Taylor Swift, it lives in
New York. Beyonce lives in New York. So that's just
part of the life here in New York. However, to Harry,

(02:34):
we have to believe that this was terribly traumatic. He's
spoken about what happened to his mommy before, and he
said every time he hears the click of a camera,
it takes him back to that awful moment in that
Paris tunnel. So I have an enormous amount of sympathy
for Harry here, but it looks like the royal family
maybe not so much. So I reached out to the

(02:54):
palace and they are not going to be issuing a statement.
So neither Buckingham Palace nor Kensington Palace, that's his brother's palace,
we'll be commenting on the alleged car chase. And the
reason is is because they stepped back from their royal duties,
the Palace now generally doesn't comment about these two. Okay,
I can get that, but should they have reached out

(03:16):
to them personally? If I thought for one minute my
sister was involved in a near car accident to a
catastrophic accident in London, wherever in the world, I'd pick
up the phone. I really would. I think this is
a moment that they could have used. It's almost a
trojan horse, a way to get into Harry and Meghan's life,

(03:37):
to show that they do care to send flowers? Are
you too okay? Can we send out security? What can
we do? Absolutely no.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
I totally agree with you as you were saying that,
I thought, you know, what a missed opportunity. And they
just always they always missed, They always missed these moments,
and this was a big one. The public wants to
see this reconciliation with this family, and so for them
or for William, not just to make a god my brother.
I love him and I'm so happy he's okay. Nothing
no like silence. It's just not a good look bucking

(04:06):
Ham Palace. It's not a good look.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
It's not a look look. And I'm frightened it's gonna
get even worse because now there's an amazing reporter on
the reporting on the Daily Beast, saying that people within
the royal family are hopefully not the senior royals, but
there's so many people that work in those palaces, and
I'm mocking this a little bit. It's becoming a little
bit of a joke in Britain, like if you if
you there's too many cars on the street, they're like, oh,

(04:29):
being chased, don't leave the house. I mean a little bit.
I've seen some memes too of the two of them
in like a tank driving around New York, so like,
I just you know, it's really tricky. Would be Goldberg
actually really sums this up. She was on The View
and she was saying that statement clearly was put out
by an LA publicist who doesn't know New York. Right,

(04:50):
we can't be caught in a high speed cartoon. What's
exactly two hours? Yeah? Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
When I first read the story, I thought it was
in London, because that could that made sense if that
were in London. Errors, But I thought the same thing.
I'm like, we don't even do that here, really, our paparazzi,
we don't like to that level.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
You can't move if you beat into Manhattan, reason the
traffic lights, they can chase you maybe two streets before
the light turns red. I've been, I've tried to speed
up town. I've offered might Acxi driver, my Uber driver
a big tip if it goes a little fast. They
can't quidlock. You can't chase people around New particularly for
two hours. Interesting you brought up London. You know, had

(05:27):
they stayed in London, the laws are stricter. You can't
do this in London. That's why we never see William
and Kate or Madonna or big superstars in London get
chased around. You just can't do that. Ironically, they moved
to America to get away from all this, all this attention.
I think now the rules in America. Because our freedom
of speech a good thing, it makes it more tricky

(05:49):
to sort of clamp down on this one. So it's very,
very difficult. Nobody has called. It makes me sad. It's
a missed opportunity, but it's also an opportunity for us
all to learn reach out to people, particularly when something
not very nice happens. Everybody wants to be my friend
when I'm on TV shows. Everybody wants to be my

(06:09):
friend when they see me having dinner with Wendy Williams.
Nobody wants to be my friend when I get fired,
and I have been fired a lot, Nobody wants to
be my friend when something bad happened, that's the time
to text somebody. I have built some of my greatest
relationships friendships on this seed that when somebody needs a friend,

(06:31):
I'm there. A friend of mine got fired from a
big job at a magazine, and everybody kissed his bottom
when he was at the magazine. I'm talking major publicists
for superstars. They loved him. The day he got fired,
nobody nobody called him except me, and I texted him
and I was like, let's have a drink to nice
and he didn't want to, but I said we will,

(06:53):
and we went to BOTINAZ and we cried for two
hours and we hugged each other, and then we came
up with a plan and now he's back on top.
Recent there was a longtime newsman on ABC News, Ken,
who got fired, and I reached out to Ken immediately
and said, let's go for a drink. We can sit down.
It's all off the record. Don't worry. I'm not taking
you out to use you to report on you. And

(07:15):
ultimately the drink didn't happen. But I tell you what,
he'll remember the fact that.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
I asked, Yeah, it's so funny you brought that up,
because this morning, out of nowhere, I thought of a
neighbor who unfortunately took his own life a couple years back,
and he had been reaching out to me, and I
was too busy and I have to live with that.
But I kept putting off calling him back. I was like, Oh,
I'll get to it. I'll get around to it.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
I'll call him back.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
And in two weeks, that two week period, I had
no idea how bad he was. So listen, everyone, please
take Rab's advice, my advice. Check on your people, call
your people.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Check in with people. It's so easy now because of phones.
I don't even have to call you. I can just
text you.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Yeah, Like you know, people in my family who are an.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
I can just text her. I don't have to talk
to us. So it's so much easier now. But this
brings us to our whole question of the day. No
one from the royal family reached out to harry On
Megan after the alleged paparazzi car chase. I hate that
we have to say alleged, but I think we do
because the evidence here is not strong. Should his dad
or his brother Prince William have picked up the phone

(08:20):
or even just texted They've got a email, text email
if you don't want to talk. Should they have reached out?
Take a vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nights
rob Our facebook page is Naughty Gossip and we should
have checked back on Monday to hear your results. Why
are you working on Corey? Yes? Well.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Andy Cohen has clarified his conversation with Teresa Juday is
about leaving The Real Housewives of New Jersey. So, in
a detailed conversation he had with Teresa after he ignited
rumors that she's leaving, you know she was leaving the show,
Teresa said, I need to talk to you about some
things that are in the book, and I said okay,
And we had a conversation off the stage and she's like,

(09:00):
you know, you know I didn't quit the show at
the last reunion, and I go, that's not what I said.
He relayed. Now, it's just kind of funny because basically
I think Teresa here is saying that she I think
she thinks she's a bigger star than she really is,
you know, she because it's a pretty funny dialogue. You know,
I just thought she was done and over it at
the last reunion, and I believe I said something to her,

(09:20):
And I think I even maybe said, I don't know,
maybe you should just step away.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
What do you think now?

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Cohen shared that he received the text message from Judeis
a week after filming the reunion, in which she wrote,
I'm not leaving the show and I never want to
leave the show now. He kind of assumed that she
wanted a break from the show. She's been in so
much turmoil ever since. But it's good TV, like that's
what people tune in for, right or her drama with
Joe and you know, her sister in law. But she

(09:48):
said to people last year, I'm never going to leave
that show and give it to anyone because I'm the
one who started the show. Now, girl, calm down, Teresa.
You know she's really a little extra with that. However,
you know, she's been forced to take a break, you know,
as the show has been on pause now a middle
a family drama. So she is stepping away, but I
think she I hate to bring up down Lemon again

(10:09):
in its context, But I think you know how they
said that sometimes the anchor thinks they're bigger than the networking.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Yeah, I've had that happen to me with jobs. So
I thought I was bigger than the job, but really not.
The magazine's bigger than you, the podcast is bigger than you,
the TV show is bigger than you. They can survive
without you, they really really can. And so I think
Trusa just needs to take a moment. I'm I have
mixed feelings about this one because part of me loves
the fact that she's fighting for her job, which she

(10:37):
should be, because there's going to be changes on this show.
Once they put a Housewives show on pause so they
can figure out what they want to do next, And
if they have to figure out what they want to
do next, it means that what they are doing is
not working for them. So there's going to be some
changes from the Real Housewives of New Jersey. I like
the fact that she's made it very very clear to
Andy the boss that she wants this job. She started

(10:58):
this show. She'll never leave this show. Problem Ministry, It's
not your decision. You can't be telling him I'm not
leaving the show, like you're at the bars. You should
have gone to him and said, this show means everything
to me, Andy, and I really want to stay with
it and whatever I need to do, whatever changes I
need to make, I'm there for you. I'm there for
the show. I'm willing to grow, Like, go to him

(11:20):
with that instead of this little bit of a almost
the chip on your shoulder. I've done it. I've definitely
been in those positions where I have over talked to myself.
It's great to say what you want, but be a
little humble.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Yeah, yeah, but I wonder also, what would she do?
I mean, she's made a name for herself, but you know,
the show is really what she has. Like she's not
like a Bethany Frankel, right, she didn't go out and
launch a multi million dollar brand. Her fame is what
makes her bills get paid even.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Beany though, with that, the show has sort of disappeared.
Like now she's doing podcasts talking about the show. Even Bethany,
it's about the housewives, Like this is going to be
the center of your life till the day you die,
and you gotta make peace with it, and you gotta
to love it, and you've got to be grateful for it,
but never forget. Once it goes away, it really does end.
And a lot of them, I know a lot of

(12:09):
people who have been on that show and being fired
are no longer on it, and at first it's really
hard for them to move on and they don't want
to believe that without the show, everything else goes. It's
the anchor. It's the anchor of what they do. I
feel like that about this podcast. I get more people

(12:29):
maybe see me or listen to me when I do
a TV show, But this is my anchor. This is
my base, so to speak. And I don't want to
sound political, but this is my core group, which is
why it will always be the priority to me. And
I'll never get too big for my boots. OK, let's
move along. Brittney Spears this is very clever, has posted
some pictures of her kissing her husband Sam Amid, marriage trouble,

(12:53):
rumors or a new explosive documentary by TMZ a llegend
a lot of things, including that her marriage is in
terrible So how does Britney respond? She posts videos on
Instagram kissing her husband. This is so so clever, and
this is somebody that's been in the entertainment business a
really long time. They say it sounds like a cliche,
but it's true. A picture's worth a thousand words, So

(13:16):
any statement you put out, you know, not the same
as just doing something that we can see. I remember
after Jalo broke up with Ben the first time I
was working with j Lo and I thought we'd just
see her disappear for a while. No, she put on
an orange toga and walked the red carpet at the
Golden Globes with her head held high. Or a photograph
can say everything. Remember this in life, when you beat up,

(13:39):
when something happens that you don't like, put on your
best pair of shoes, pull your hair back, go and
get a martini, and you post that picture on Instagram
of you looking fabulous. I like this now. My sources
are also saying the marriage is in trouble, but I'm
hoping for the best here. It cannot be easy being
married to Britney Spears. It's a very tricky, tricky, tricky

(14:03):
life for the two of them. Were wishing Brittany nothing
but the best. But I think this is sort of
very clever. It's a better way to response than a statement.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Yeah, but I also think it's very It could be
very contrived, right, I mean, and and her her social
media post in general are a little they're odd.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
Yeah, that's the thing with Brittany that I find so interesting.
We think of Brittany different from the real Brittany. We
think of Brittany as the record label production slick superstar
where everything's perfect, every dance move is perfect. Every time
she snaps her head, it's perfect. Her lipstick's perfect. She's not.

(14:44):
She's a little bit sloppy, and I love that about her.
She is not the girl that we've been sold by
her record company for so long, and that's why we're
scratching our head. My inside has told me anyone that
has known Brittany from the beginning, they actually recognized this
Britney more than the polished one. But they see these instagrams,
They're like, oh, that's Brittany.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Well, you know, it reminds me of Whitney Houston. I remember,
like that Wendy Williams radio interview and she snapped on
Wendy like a girl from Newark, and I was like, wait,
we've been sold a goods.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
This is not I thought she was. Yes, I am
was working for Alicia Keyes who was part of the
Arister Clive Davis family, so I would go to all
the big Arister partners, and Whitney was the queen of Arista,
like she's the one that made them gazillions of dollars,
did very well for them. But it was Whitney Houston
who was really the backbone of Arista Records. And I'd

(15:37):
see Whitney backstage without her week on and it wasn't
quite the Polish princess of Yeah Yeah, And I sort
of loved the sloppy witness. I loved her chowing down
on a food. She loved a good, good nibble. She
was very much like Wendy in many ways. And I
think that's what the joy of Wendy Williams is, at
least to me, what you see is what you get.

(15:58):
The Wendy that she really is is sort of similar.
It's not exactly the same as the Wendy on TV,
but it's pretty similar. That's what I think you're so successful, Corey,
is that you're exactly the same. If we're drinking in Partino,
see behind a microphone, floppy lovely. Okay, we're going to
take a quick break and we will be right back.

(16:21):
Welcome back to the naughty Nira Exposed. Come back, welcome back,
welcome back. Hey, let's get to the polls. Thank you darling.
Last year, we talked about Harry and Meghan saying that
they were in a near catastrophic paparazzi chase. However, the
New York City Police did not quite agree. In fact,

(16:42):
it got very close to them, almost calling them liars.
Like even the mayor giggled about them being in a
high speed car chase in Manhattan for two hours at
that time of night, you could get to the Hamptons
and two It's a long long So my question was
a little bit cheeky. But people are asking this, Can

(17:02):
we now trust anything that Harry and Meghan? Anything they say? Again,
can we trust them? It's a hard thing. You've got
to learn this of everybody. If you become the boy
that cries, well, people just stop believing you. It's the
same with my reporting. If I keep reporting stories that
are not true, you're just gonna stop coming and listening
to me or reading naughty gossip. Got you gotta tell

(17:22):
the truth. I'm a big believer. I know the world
we live in. We're not gonna get political. The truth
doesn't seem to matter as much. But for me, truth
is really important. What about you naughty is Can we
trust them anymore? Seventy five percent said no, Oh gosh,
we've got to now everything they say we've got to
think about because this was a massive, let's say, exaggeration,

(17:44):
a massive exaggeration. Be careful, Harry, if you're listening ala Ala,
be careful with those statements.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
Yeah, because it makes you think about, like the previous
stuff of the other criticisms of the royal family. So
it makes you think of all the stuff they've said.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Yeah, this is how the royal family really has your
play into their hands, Harry Am. Remember after the Oprah interview,
a lot of people, particularly people that were very close
to the royal family, said they exaggerated. There were several
examples of stuff that just didn't quite happen the way
they said. And so if you can exaggerate to Oprah,
and if you can talk about being chased for two hours,
be careful because eventually your word's not going to mean

(18:19):
as much. Don't forget to vote on today's Paul got
Twitter page, I'd notughty nice or about Facebook page already gossip.
I'm be sure to check back on Monday for your
results and now of the day.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Yes, this is a very nice story. Actually, newly single
Shakira and Giselle Bune and have some time together with
their kids in Miami. They were out with their girls'
night out and with their kids out in Miami Beach.
Now the Columbian pop star with her son's Milan ten
and Sasha eight, and the Brazilian supermodel with son Benjamin
thirteen and daughter of Vivian who's ten years old. Well,

(18:53):
they were all spotted exiting a Japanese restaurant when they
all had dinner together. Now, in addition to being beautiful
than successful Latin women with children close in age, Shakira
and Bunge and Sheer also common ground with regard to
their love lives, as the two are still navigating very
public public So.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
I love this.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
I love this for them.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
This is likely. Have you girlfriends have people around you
that have common interests. I love it, I love it.
I love it. And and Cony saying that he thinks
him and Anderson Cooper could have a very good threesome.
So he was on Sherry Shepherds Show and they were
giggling and they were joking, and he said, a threesome
is what it would take because we are truly friends.

(19:35):
We really are not kudes. Don't talk about having sex
with your friends. Yeah, it has to be under the
person involved.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
I mean I still couldn't do that even with another person.
What come on, Andy, I don't get it.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
I get what he's doing. He's selling his book and
Andy knows from those housewives how to get a headline.
Headliners extraordinary. But when you're really sort of dig deep
into it, oh, it's creepy, friends, Andy, and he's the day.
Let's end with a moment of robe a rob a
really easy, simple one. Today. I think nobody will take
care of you if you don't take care of yourself.

(20:08):
You've got to take care of yourself first. Stop waiting
for somebody to come along and take care of you.
You have the power to do it, and you have
the power to do it right now. That is it
for this week. Thank you so much for listening to
the Naughty but Nice with Robin Cory Show, a production
of iHeart Lady. You don't forget to subscribe on the
iHeartRadio app Apple podcast wherever you listen, leave us a

(20:30):
review if you can. They really do help. And remember
altogether now, if you're going, if you've got to

Speaker 2 (20:37):
Be nice, I'm not even nice with Rob
