Speaker 1 (00:14):
Leven no, no, welcome to the nobody for nice your
host or shooter and it's Tuesday, which means our dear
friend Eleana Dixon joins the say, mister, are you there?
Speaker 2 (00:22):
I am, and I'm in I Met Gala post glory.
Wasn't it an amazing night?
Speaker 1 (00:28):
It's amazing, isn't it?
Speaker 2 (00:29):
So?
Speaker 1 (00:29):
The Met Garla. It's every year. I've been lucky enough
to go twice. I once went as Jennifer Lopez's date
to Believe That or Not? And I went with Kate Spade.
It's such a glamorous, fabulous night of fashion. I think
we have to say, though, the person that stole the night,
at least for me, mister Rihanna. Not only did she
look incredible, she also came with a surprise announcement. Yes,
(00:53):
she's expanding her family with Asap Rocky and this is
gonna be her third child, and she revealed her baby
boomp on those very famous steps at the net. She
looked fabulous. What do you think?
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Oh yeah, absolutely, of course she gave us a little
bit of a sneak peek. Earlier in the day, it
was raining like cats and dogs in her New York,
so she was wearing like this gray sweatsuit skirt set,
and of course her belly was out. She was carrying
an umbrella. So that was the first hand we got.
And then she showed up on the met Gala steps
fashionably late, as she always does. She was wearing Mark Jacobs,
(01:30):
and of course her baby bump was on display. And
I just have to say, Rihanna loves a big stage
to show her baby bump. Remember when we were doing
the Super Bowl and we're like, is Rihanna pregnant? She
just did the halftime.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
What she loves an indictment. Now, I did let me
thinking a little bit. It was really meant to be
a SAP Rockies night. He was one of the co
chairs of this event. Would you be a little annoyed
if your partner stole your fun? So to speak? What
do you think it's your night, mistique? This is your night.
You're a coacher. You get there early to do all
(02:06):
the official things, to greet the guests, to talk to
the press, and then two hours later, Rihanna just shuts
the place down.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Well, I think he knew obviously, and he did talk
about it on the carpet, But I think what was
important to him and to all the men who were
participating in the met gala last night, that the theme
was important because it was super fine tailoring black style,
and it was really devoted to looking at how black
(02:36):
men have dressed since the eighteenth century to today and
really celebrating that and elevating that. It was a lot
of people have been talking about black dandyism and how
black men have used style to just really express themselves
in America and beyond. So I think that was the
most important thing. And of course he said, you know,
(02:58):
I'm happy we want another one. This is what asap
Rocky said. And he's like, I don't care what she
wears as long as it shows off the bumps. So
he was ready for it. He knows his wife is
always gonna steal or I should say partner.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
We don't know do sometimes sometimes with are very very private,
except when it comes to revealing baby bumps. I love
the theme. I think most people rose to the occasion.
There is something so spectacular about a dandy, and I
think people really really got into that vibe. If you
don't know what a dandy is, I think the best
(03:32):
example is Prince somebody that just expressed themselves through their clothing,
sometimes feminine, sometimes masculine, sometimes gay, sometimes straight. None of
those boundaries, None of those rules apply to a dandy.
It's also about having a personality too. I think unfortunately
(03:52):
he wasn't there, but Andy Cohen is a dandy somebody
that's so extravagant and fantastic. I'm told he was invited
this year. So Andy has never been invited to the
Met when Sarah Jessica Parker doesn't attend, so he doesn't
get his own invite. He's her plus one. It's like
me and you, mister. You get invited and you drag
me along, but if you're not going, I can't go.
(04:14):
There were some other people there too that I thought
looked really really dandy. Madonna she's always had that dandy's style,
that sort of like swagger about her. So I think
actually the women, for me looked more dandy than the men.
I was a little disappointed with some of the black
tuxedos Usher turned up and a very traditional Ralph Lauren tuxida.
(04:36):
He looks fantastically, had the cane so that's very dandy,
and the white scarf. But I just think the ladies
really really excelled.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
I think they had an opportunity to relate a gender
vendor here, Yeah, and wear oversized suits like Tiana Taylor
and just really have fun with it. It was fun
to see miss Diana Ross, oh, Hannis Ross on the
carved Oh. But I think, of course co chair Coleman
Domingo looked fantastic. And I will say so, Rob, I
(05:07):
was actually at the Met that morning, so I got
to see the exhibition and it is fantastic, and Coleman
Domingo was there. He talked about three men who have
actually defined his style, his stepfather, his birth father, and
his brother. So it was really incredible. If you're in
New York City, you know now May tenth through October
(05:30):
twenty sixth, I suggest you book yourself a take. It's
go over see it. Frederick Douglas's students.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
It's a mistake. My goodness, Oh, my goodness, I think too,
because the event the steps of the Met. It's so
over the top and so fabulous, and you're going to
see tons of photographs today we forget what this ball
is about. This ball is to raise money for the
Costume Institute. The Costume Institute is a privately funded exhibit
(05:58):
within the Mets. So when you go to the Met, yes,
you can see Picasso and Renoir and the most incredible
art in the world. But they do have a costume institute.
I think fashion is art too. It's very expensive to
run this exhibit, and so once a year, Anna Winter
and the team at Vogue do this benefit. It raised
over thirty million dollars last night. It was record breaking.
(06:23):
Just to give you some idea, a table costs three
hundred and fifty thousand dollars. That gets you ten seats,
and an individual ticket misty costs you about seventy five thousand. Now,
what normally happens is the celebrities don't pay. When I
went with Jennifer Lopez, Dolcy and Gabanna bought a corporate
table and then they had ten seats. They always try
(06:44):
to give one to a celebrity and his or her
guests thankfully me. But it's normally corporate money. It's a
lot of big design and big fashion houses v Sachi,
all these places, Gucci, Prada, Ralph Lauren. They can afford
to write off or to buy a table for that
much money, and then the invite celebrity to sit at
the table. But The deal is for a free dinner,
(07:07):
for a free seventy five thousand dollars ticket. You have
to wear the designer that's paying. So if you get
invited by Ralph Lauren, you better not turn up in
tom Ford. That's the deal. A good deal, miss dear.
I will take it. A free suit and a free dinner,
Sign me up. Okay, let's jump into our show. What
time is it? My friends? And he is tea time
bigst right at the top of the show. So yesterday
(07:28):
we got to see that adorable little Louis again being
ever so cheeky. It was the eightieth anniversary of the
day and this seven year old he's seven now, he
was so cheeky. He was pulling at his dad's jacket,
he was making faces, he was giggling. He was having
the time of his life. However, sources tell me they're
starting to be a little bit of concern within the palace.
(07:51):
That is, Louis now at an age where he should
really behave And they said that if George or Charlotte
did this, they probably would have been told off. But
Louis being the young I'm the youngest. Everyone thinks it's
cute and at the moment, it is still cute. But
is there a little bit of a double standard there?
Somebody inside the palace went this pharmastley. I guessed they said,
(08:11):
lou is going to turn into the next Prince Harry
if they're not careful, because Harry gone away with murder
when he was little too. Harry was such a cheeky
little devil. That's why we love him, and Louie reminds
me a lot of Harry. Now that has not ended
the way they wanted it too with Harry, So are
they setting it up? You have young nephews, do you
think you should discipline them, have a little chat with them?
(08:34):
Or do you just let them run wild? Or it's
cute now, but would that be cute in ten years?
What do you think?
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Well, I think this isn't just a royal problem. I
do have two nephews. And when it happens to be
seven years old, and he does some very naughty things,
and he gives that little cheeky smile and he's like, oops,
was it me? And he does get disciplined. He does
get disciplined, but we are always giggling in the background.
That was very cute, So I think this is just
(09:00):
kind of im. I'm the eldest, so willing, and you
always feel as the eldest. Oh, I have to be
a good one, control and be right. I think the
younger gets away with a little bit more, but a
lot more now that my sister, my little sister is
grown and she's an assistant district attorney's turned out, I
don't think they have to worry about Louis. Yes, he's
doing some you know, goofy things, and that's his brand,
(09:24):
but it doesn't say that he's going to be a
problem child for the rest of us. You let him
have a little bit of fun, and when he's ten,
when he.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
Hits double digits, then you think.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
You can set him down and say.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
Okay, yes, yes, a little you got to stand on
that balcony and smile. You gotta be a good boy,
which brings us bad Poe question, Yes, it's a right,
brings sister about pol questioned it off the day Prince
Livy gets away with pretty much everything. He's never really
told off. Is this a mistake? Now, I don't have children,
(09:55):
but I do have dogs, and I've got to admit
I'm quite strict with my dogs. I can't can't have
a naughty dog when you live in an apartment. You
can't have that because every day in the elevator he
meets our neighbors. And so I'm actually quite a strict parent.
When Derby was a little puppy, I used to giggle
when he barked, and then after a while Bruce was like,
don't encourage that because we do live in an apartment.
(10:17):
And they was like, Bruce is right, Bruce's right. Hey,
go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rabat
Facebook page and already gossip and bisure to check back
to lauraw to he at your results. He misty, what
are you working on that?
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Well, Bethany Frankel has made another announcement that nobody asked for.
So she's giving a revelation or as some are calling it,
a cry for attention. So basically, and in TikTok, the
former Real Housewives of New York star are revealed yet
another reason why she left New York City and she
made this sudden move to Florida, this time saying that
(10:50):
her massive upstate New York home was just too big
and drowning her. And so she basically said it was
just the two of us meeting her and her fourteen
year old daughter, Brent. I bought this big historical house
with an apple origin, thinking I'd be entertaining all the time,
and then instead I was alone. Now, originally she said
(11:13):
she left for professional and personal reasons, and that is
enough reason. Listen, you didn't have to tell us why
you moved. Yeah, but she just keeps giving things. And
the problem is not that we don't expect that from Bethany,
but her daughter, she just wants some privacy, just keeps
bringing her into the situation, and so she's going to
(11:36):
have to deal with that. So Rob, I mean, you
know Bethany, we know her. She's just always trying to
stay in the picture, right. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Yeah, it makes me a bit sad. It's getting a
little bit desperate. We know there are issues going on
with her daughter. We're not going to discuss them on
this show. We are very very careful about children's privacy here.
But that was the reason that Bethany initially said she moved.
She didn't need to tell us that she did, and
lads just changed the narrative has left everybody really confused.
(12:04):
Sometimes it's better to just say nothing. Don't say anything
like you've made so much money. Go and live your life.
Go and find happiness with your daughter, Find a great school,
find a place where she can thrive away from the spotlight.
But keep dragging somebody back into into a world they
don't want to be involved in. It's just not that healthy.
(12:26):
Britney Spears struggles with this with her children. Her children
are very private. They don't like mommy on social media
saying crazy things and dancing half naked. But Britney hasn't
been able to really stop herself. Now, Brittany does suffer
with very, very difficult mental health issues. She's been honest about.
That makes me sad here, mister. I wish them all
(12:46):
the best, I really really do. But this is just
not a good idea. Bethany. Go away for a little bit,
not for you, but for your daughter. Okay, moving along,
The joking at Diddy's trial is apparently a very good
sign for Puff. So the High State trial of Sean
did he come? He kicked off yesterday in Manhattan and
(13:06):
the court room wasn't quite as grim as expected. So
I had reporters in the court room and they said
the judge opened the proceedings with a joke about all
did He's nicknames, Puffy, did he Dad, Daddy? Did he
love all them? You know them?
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Ball?
Speaker 1 (13:19):
And so he also made a reference to the Lord
of the Rings trilogy. Now, this was definitely a moment
where people smiled. Did He smiled too? He was wearing
a blue sweater and a white shirt, not those jail
issued scrubs. And then sources are telling me one court
room joke doesn't decide a case, so don't get ahead
(13:41):
of yourself here. But it does say something about the vibe,
and at the moment, the vibe is not all doom
and gloom for did Hey, and so maybe here a
glimmer of hope for Puff. But once again that's a
really important sentence. One court room joke doesn't decide the case. Now, Delana,
(14:02):
you have had a long history of your family in
criminal justice. What do you think's happening here?
Speaker 2 (14:08):
I think the judge is setting themselves up to not
be like, oh, look he's damning ditty. From moment one.
It's kind of saying, yes, this is an important case,
but you know, life goes on, can still have some levity.
But I don't think this means that this judge is
(14:29):
going to be light in how they prevail over the case.
So it's just the moment of levity. But this is
something very serious.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
It's very sorry.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
People have said that Diddy has done some allegedly horrible things.
So but you know, life goes on and even in
the darkest of times, you have to have a moment
of laughter and life.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
But I think it's just a judge.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
So people they don't know where the judge is right now,
and they can't make a decision because the judge needed
it right and.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
I think the judge doesn't know where they stand right
now either. It's just beginning. It's just day one. My
sources I used to work for Diddy over a decade ago,
so I still have sources around Puff and they told
me he was actually very happy with how the first
day went. He was a little bit nervous. At one
point he admitted that to the judge. He said, I'm
nervous today. He asked for a bathroom break, he hugged
(15:24):
his lawyers. He's gray, he's lost a lot of weight.
But I think he had a relatively good day here.
He was humanized. I think asking to go to the
bathroom humanizes all of us. It's one thing we all
have in common, no matter who we are in the world.
And so I think it was a good start. But
once again, it's just day one and this is a long,
(15:46):
long process and a lot of evidence, a lot, a
lot of stuff is going to be revealed. Wow, we're
just at the beginning. Okay, We're going to take a
quick break, Mistlee, and we will be right back. Welcome
back to the naughtim that Nishawi host promo to with
idea friend. Mistery, Hey, mister, let's get to the polls
that Lasherby talked about. Did he find in faith? Behind bars?
(16:07):
He's found God and this is something that actually happens
quite a lot to people in jail, in prison, in
difficult circumstances. My question was quite simple, do you believe it?
Or is this convenient timing? It's tricky. Isn't it a
little naughty too? Let's have a look. Eighty percent said
it's a little convenient, like he found God when you
need him. But maybe that's the point. Maybe we do
(16:30):
find God in our darkest hours, when things are really
glorious in our lives. We're so selfish, were so enjoying
the moment, we don't think of a bigger picture. There's
nothing like being knocked off your feet to make you
suddenly realize the world is bigger than you. So, even
though the timing is suspicious here mystery, I think that's
the point. I think you find God in your darkest hours.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
What do you think I would agree with that? I
do personally try to get up in the morning on
my best of days and be thankful to my higher power,
because I certainly would like to hope that when I'm
in my darker moments, my higher Power is there for
me to talk to me and I can forgive you.
So that's part of the process.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
Or part of the process. It's part of the process. Okay,
let's move forward with the nicest of The.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Nicest of the day is Ryan Seacrest. But it's a
little tricky on this one. As we know, he's now
hosting Wheel of Fortune and they shoot a lot of
shows in one day and he'd like to shorten the
breaks between shows by six minutes, so they would only
get a nine minute break. And the reason why is
the crew would technically get back thirty minutes a day.
(17:43):
But the problem is our lovely miss Vana White. Can
you imagine she's got to change dress, she's got to
change on makeup, she's got to fix a hay. I definitely,
because you can't look the same on two shows. I
mean nine minutes. That would be like a NASCAR race
level shame. But get this, they shoot six episodes day,
(18:04):
six thirty four days of year. That's it.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
Okay, it's a part time, full time job.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
Yes, and Ryan gets reportedly an eighth fie. I would
do it, so I'm sorry, yeah, like I would be
like nine minutes, five minutes. Come on, let's put in
a couple more shows and I can get a couple
more dollars.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
That the break is a killer. When we used to
shoot two shows a day on Thursday for our morning show,
the break in between the shows, which was over an hour,
was a killer. Sitting down upstairs doing getting changed into
something different, doing your hair and makeup, just sitting there,
it sort of really drained the energy. So I understand
what Ryan's doing here, except remember it's easier for him
(18:42):
to change for a second, third, four to fifty sixth
show than it is for her. I do like it, though.
Nice is the day and now I noticed the day naughteen, naughty, naughty,
David Beckham seems to have picked Tom Cruise over his
own son, Brooklyn. So Brooklyn was snubbed at David Beckham's
fiftieth thirty party. He didn't attend. So they flew into
Britain to attend the party, and Brooklyn and Nicole wanted
(19:04):
to meet David before and they said, no, we'll meet
you at the party, and the Sun was like, I
just want to have a little bit of time with
just us, just the family, and the Beckhams were like,
oh no, no, no, we're busy. We'll just see you
at the party. So they didn't meet. Now we should
point out there's been a lot of drama in this
family posh spice. David's wife is not apparently a big
(19:26):
fan of Brooklyn's wife. All this nonsense, But how silly
to miss your dad's fiftieth birthdy party and not he's
the day. Let's end with a moment of rob. You
get a rob, you rub, you rub, you a rob.
Even butterflies rest when it rains. Let me explain, So
butterflies don't fight the storm. They pause because rain can
damage their wings and they know that rest is survival,
(19:48):
not weakness. The same goes for you. It's okay to
rest during the storms of life. It's okay to be still,
to protect your spirit. To capture breath doesn't mean that
you're giving up. It means that you're preserving your strength
for the fight ahead. I promise you the storm will
pass and when it does, you will fly again. Hey,
(20:11):
that is it for today. Thank you so much for listening.
